20 Best Watches For Small Wrists Men’S (2023 Updated)

It is perfect for my new baby bunny, he doesnt quite know what to do yet but when he is a bit older he will love it.

this watch LOOKS ok, but it was sent to me with a dead battery so i can’t tell how well it works. I have to now go to the trouble of finding the right battery and buying and installing it. this watch was not boxed in any sort of mfr packaging.

it was an Open Box item. it came attached to a retail display plastic stand instead of any packaging. I do not consider this brand new, as it was obviously handled by others. they just grabbed it off a counter in a store and packed it in a box with brown paper.

What a disgusting and painful experience this is already. Walmart doesn’t have any clue how to treat merchandise, or customers, NOR how to conduct mail order commerce. Extremely cheap, unprofessional,and sub par handling of orders.

Not acceptable by any online ecommerce standards.

Bought to replace 25yr old example. Brighter screen, but day/date difficult to adjust, & no instructions!!! Directed to website for details, but unfortunately it’s a bit rubbish. Why Timex don’t see fit to include proper instructions to facilitate adjustment, is beyond me.

I like the watch very much, but I suspect it’s going to be a bit of a pain to live with long term, which might be a long time, if it’s as reliable as my last one, which is still going strong after 25yrs plus, & more new straps than I care to remember.

I just fancied a change, hope I don’t regret it.

an excellent watch at a very reasonable price. very reliable and easy to read with a beautiful clear ‘classic’ design. No bells and whistles , which is something I appreciate in a time piece. It has one weak point ( which is why no 5 stars) the small spring post that attaches the strap to the watch body can be too easily released by accident, which means the watch can fall from your wrist without you knowing.

However this hasn’t stopped me buying multiples of this watch – that’s how much I like it!.

The Timex Expedition North, Field Post 41 Solar, speaks to the side of me that makes a conscious effort to develop a more sustainable mindset, particularly as a consumer. I hope this is just the start of things to come. Packaging – I like the stylishly minimalist packaging depicting mountainous geometric shapes in bold green tones. It needs no wild introduction, just open it up and introduce it to the wild on your next adventure, which should start now! Watch Case – The 41mm stainless steel case allows for a larger face diameter, handy while on the move and during harsh weather conditions.

Stainless steel is the obvious choice, it is a durable material for watch case’s, and the bead-blasted finish gives you that extra level of confidence while facing the elements. Watch Crystal – Often the first thing to get scratched up on any watch, let alone one destined for the great outdoors, with all its scratchy abrasive surfaces.

Traditionally, sapphire crystals are reserved for more expensive watches, so this stands out as a real quality feature for this sustainably driven field watch. Preserving the clarity and general aesthetic of the watch and giving the consumer a serious bang for the buck.

Dial & Hands- The dial is functional and clutter-free. The utility of this piece dictates its appearance of being clear and legible and yet it still manages style and flair with the use of colour. Grey Arabic fonts and pastel markers against the olive dial work well.

The dial has certain faint transparency to it which isn’t overly distracting but noticeable in certain lights. Although, I believe this is a worthy trade-off to provide the solar-powered feature, which is useful for a sustainable field watch.

The hand style is paired well with the appearance and I really like the lume colour, but the lume itself could be brighter. Caseback- The screw-down case back is one of my favourite features. Every aspect of it from the coin edge pattern around its outer diameter to the Expedition North design just finishes this piece nicely.

It is a stunning touch that stamps a mark of quality on this impressive field watch. Strap- Using recycled materials is something every brand or manufacturer should be doing where appropriate. It is a global issue and something we will have to tackle together.

If we can use it in a strap, that’s excellent. It feels comfortable and is completely functional. I also really like the olive tone. Wearability- At 41mm the watch is on the larger end of the scale for someone with a smaller wrist, like me.

However, it wears well and I think that is down to the crown guards, which add a level of comfort active. I have been wearing the Field Post 41 Solar over the weekend and have found it to be well balanced, and doesn’t get in the way or catch on clothing.

Functionality- 100M water resistance is an absolute must for a field watch and I’m reassured to see it on the Field Post 41. Having a quickset date is a fantastic time-saving feature that I enjoy having on watches.

More so, is the anti-reflective sapphire crystal which I think is a huge bonus that will also help to preserve the appearance of this watch for much longer than a mineral glass alternative. Overall- I think The Timex Field Post 41 from the Expedition North Series hits the mark.

It takes all the elements of a well-rounded field watch and integrates a number of sustainable features organically in a way that doesn’t make it feel like they were an afterthought. It is a sturdy watch and speaks for itself with a bead-blasted stainless steel case and anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Those features alone are commonly found on watches with a higher price point, making it attractive yet functional watch. Yes, the lume could be a little brighter and there is slight transparency on the dial.

But, little touches like the logo on the crown and the stunning case back design finish this piece well for me and are a testament to the ongoing quality of Timex watches. Overall, a lot of watch for the money.

I have owned this Expedition North Field Post Solar 36mm for six months now. Every quartz watch that I have previously owned was accurate to approximately +/- 1. 5 seconds per week. (+/- 0. 2 seconds per day) This watch, when compared to the NIST website and WWV radio broadcasts appears to gain approximately 1 second per month! (.

04 seconds per day) I am a retired astronomer and remember well the old mechanical astronomical regulator clocks used in observatories, the accuracy of which were generally +/- 0. 03 to +/- 0. 06 seconds per day.

Prior to the invention of atomic clocks, they were the most precise time keeping devices ever made. This watch is of astronomical regulator accuracy! Now, I doubt that Timex can go to the time and expense of regulating all of these watches to that accuracy.

(Care to comment, Timex?) I must have just gotten lucky, but my goodness! Astronomical regulator accuracy on my wrist? Thank you, Timex! You’ve made an old astronomer very happy!.

The Marlin automatic in itself is already a really cool watch, but the Dodgers LA logo at 6 o’clock just gives it that extra visual boost, for me anyway. The silver dial, minimalistic indeces and hand set, and domed crystal all add to that vintage, classy vibe.

The exhibition case back is a nice feature as well. The brown leather strap is soft and supple, which leads me to believe minimal break in is required. The signed buckle is a welcome addition. Why did I give it only four stars, on what could have been a five star watch? The Miyota movement is solid for what it is.

Manual winding is already a feature, but it lacks seconds hacking. Minus my minor disappointment over the lack of seconds hacking, the watch overall is really good. Definitely a step above in quality, compared to its fellow Timex pieces in the lower price ranges.

Really like this watch. The light tan leather strap is really nice and the face looks great. I did receive the watch in perfect condition although after a few weeks now there are two things that are upsetting.

This is my first watch I bought ever so I may just be confused. I can’t get the second hand to be timed correctly like it is off. Also, the additional strip that helps you keep the excess band portion close to the wrist has a piece of string tied through it as additional support to keep the strip together.

This came off after normal wear but the glue still holds this strip together. Other than that, I really like this watch and performs it’s duty.

I received this watch a week before Xmas as I was planning to gift it. When I received it, I noticed that the watch band was wrinkled. I thought at first it was just the texture of the leather, but when I examined the underside of the band, you can see more wrinkles and it’s concentrated around a specific hole in the band.

Clear signs the watch had been used and tried on before. Also, the clear plastic on the front had been clearly taken off and put back on again as you can the bubbles when someone tries to put it back on after it’s been first removed.

The crown was also loose when you tried to change the time or the date. I called Customer Service and was told I could return it and buy a new one. I tried to buy another one, but it was already sold out! I asked if I could receive some code to get the full discount as I didn’t want to buy any other watch other than this one, but was told they couldn’t do that.

I asked another customer service rep and she told me she would get back to me. Surprise, surprise, she never did! Really disappointed with how Timex handled this. Never made any attempt to truly help me resolve this issue – simply told me to return it.

And this wasn’t even my fault! Think twice about buying one!.

I like the look of the field watches issued to U. S. Army personnel during the Vietnam War, but used ones in decent condition cost hundreds of dollars. This watch is designed to look just like those watches.

Easy to read. Good lume. Cool domed crystal. Excellent robust strap. USA-made quartz movement appears to be deadly accurate. Is it worth $100 more than a similar-looking Timex? Only time will tell.

For those looking a field watch under 40mm, this is a great value. It’s super light weight and comfortable. The movement is very quiet compared to many quartz analog types, virtually silent from more than 1ft away.

The white font and hands are very easy to read. Lume is acceptable. The band is very thick, but good quality. My only gripe really is the 19mm (3/4″) lugs. I use 18mm NATO style bands and live with the gap.

If you want something larger with a more common 22mm band size, look at the Bertucci DX3.

As a first time watch buyer it wasn’t easy making an online purchase. I had to do a lot of research on both – what watch to get, and which retailer to get it from. Having watched a tonne of videos on everything that’s available in the 1K$ range for a dress watch, I finally settled on the understated elegance of the Junghans Maxbill design.

The only question left was what size to get. Personally, I prefer a watch with a smaller presence on my wrist. So, I hesitantly chose 34 mm and wondered if I had chosen far below the modern standard for a male wrist.

As for the retailer, there weren’t enough reviews available to pick from but Iguana sell seemed to be legit and I was getting the best deal on this watch in the precise configuration I wanted, sapphire crystal and all.

Once again, I reluctantly took a shot wondering whether it was ok to order a watch from outside the US. But here’s the good part, I was right on both counts. I picked a great watch from a great retailer.

The watch arrived in a few days, nicely packed and secure. Iguana sell’s email notifications about the delivery were on point as well. About the watch, its a beautiful dial that both me and my wife absolutely love.

The strap is ok, but I already replaced it with a burgundy leather strap that gives it a bolder presence on my wrist. Lastly, as a first time purchaser I actually enjoy engaging with the dial every morning to hand wind the watch.

This deal has my stamp of approval for sure!.

This is a really attractive dress watch. The classic, minimalist dial design may not be for everyone but I love it. The watch is very well finished. It’s very thin even with the domed sapphire. So far it’s keeping time well at around +2 seconds a day.

The lack of bezel really makes the dial stand out and allows it to go right to the edge of the watch making it incredibly legible to the point of making it as clear to read as a 42mm watch even though this is a true 38mm.

This size of case is far better suited to me as I have small wrist of about 16. 5cm. So many watches now are at least 40mm and above and I’m looking forward to the time this trend of large watches ends.

The only negative for me is that the hand winding is rather stiff and quite awkward given the small crown. The small crown is of course to be expected on a watch of this style and it’s it to be your daily wear then it won’t matter as it’s an automatic.

It’s just something to bear in mind if, like me, you rotate your watch collection.

i was eye’ing one of these for a while, i hate the strap, thats literal garbage and should just be thrown in the box once you recieve it for first time. dont even bother trying it on. get a nice alligator strap, i bought a nice black alligator with silicone backing, and really like it.

I like that this 7750 movement has day of week, date, and chrono functions, no actively moving second hand, but you dont really need it, and on the rare occasion i need to have a accurate accounting of seconds, boom chronoscope built in.

The Plexi bezel is absolute garbage, i had to order a new one from germany within first week, but this one has lasted about a month now, i replaced it myself with a crystal press. DO NOT pay more than $1,300 for this watch, just dont, the prices are all MSRP nonsense, these watches dont sell well, and if you offered any dealer that has stock on these 1,300 they would likely jump on it.

2k price tag is outrageously high. I got this one for $1,250 ish, didnt even ask for reduction, from authorized dealer, made me offer for that price. Everything good so far, i like watch, get some compliments, its nice clean watch design, i personally think its the finest max bill model watch they made, with all date/chrono features, and classic black/silver make it i thinkthe best designed.

Right away, get a new 20mm band, order a new plexi crystal part 32096 Jgh-32096-Glas, and be careful with plexiglass crystal. Polywatch didnt do jack to restore surface scratch because its a coated/hardened Sircan coated glass, its too hard to polish.

I didnt try diamond polish because it would of been cost prohibitive to just order replacement glass instead. If you are thinking about getting one, dont pay more than $1,300, and make sure its from authorized dealer as always.

I highly recommend watch, the 7750 is my favorite watch movement, and the one inside this watch is great so far.

I have not opened it yet got it for a family reunion and other things that I have going on this summer It hasn’t been used yet. I feel like it wasn’t a fair on the ratings, it would not let me going on without the rate.

This is a beautiful and very accurate timepiece. The solar power is a plus for everyone but cave-dwellers; just keep the face exposed to the light and you are good to go! The day/date is an easy set-up if you have owned any other Seiko watches with this feature.

SAT is blue and SUN is red, which is a neat feature. It is very light on the wrist. The nighttime illumination could be better, but if this is an important criteria for you, there are other watches(usually diver-types) with massive illumination.

This is an early review, since I have only owned it two weeks. Others have had issues with the water resistance. Again, if that is a major criterion for you, get a diver watch. I do not take this into the shower! All in all, this was a great find.

Good watch. ! I have the same watch that was purchased 10 years ago and it is still going strong. However the band is wearing out and to replace the band is $44. 00. It just was a good deal when I could get the same watch band and all for $68.

A real no brainier. If this watch last as long as my previous watch , it will probably last longer than me. It is not a flashy dress watch. However it isn’t you grandpa’s watch either. It’s a masculine man’s watch.

I have one other Seiko watch and this one seems to be as good as my other watch. Seiko makes a very good entry level mechanical watch that offers fairly good accuracy and for a watch of this price is quite good at neither gaining nor losing time.

No, it is not as good as a more expensive watch, however for the price it is actually better than a couple of my watches that cost 2/3 times as much. As appearances go, it is quite good looking, the face has some very nice detail and the gold hands and indices are easy to read.

(My other Seiko is the same model, but this a gold face and gold hands and is very hard to read) The watch probably appears quite small compared to the large watches that are currently popular, but I find it to be comparable to the types of watches that were popular when I was young in the 60’s and 70’s, so the size does not bother me.

My only complaint is the same complaint made by anyone who has purchased a low end Seiko. The band is crappy. However for the price, it seems worth it to buy a new band so that you can have a reliable daily wear watch that will be attractive and yet will not break the bank if any mishap should befall it during daily use.

All in all a very good product at a very attractive budget price point.

Its a watch that stands out! A magnificently stylish dial with a textured centre of soft vertical lines giving a velvet grey appearance in certain light. This is separated by a mid minute counter track which is surrounded by a bold black ring with Roman numeral markings at the evens & bar batons at the odds.

The day/date matches the dial colour & its window is framed in silver to match the the outer track numbers & sword style hands. The finish is good! Don’t forget this IS a sub $200 watch. As with all Seiko 5’s, the bracelet is a cheap feeling hollow link & it rattles.

I’ve replaced it with a burgundy red Ostrich strap that just makes the whole watch go BANG! I’m impressed!.

I have a modest collection of watches, including 2 other Seiko 5 models, one of which is 14 years old. So, the Seiko 5 is well known to me. These are fantastic watches and unbelievable at this price.

Why people buy some ‘fashion’ watches costing 3 or 4 times the price of a Seiko 5 is beyond me! I guess some individuals follow the herd and are more concerned about brand names. Personally, I believe in the saying Fashions come and go, but style is permanent! This particular watch looks very handsome and understated with its 37 mm polished case and finely brushed lug tops.

It looks especially good if you have a slim wrist and modern 40 mm plus cases look too big and ungainly. The black sunburst dial is really subtle and looks great when it catches the light a particular way.

It has a legible dial, with nicely applied batons and highly polished hands. The red seconds hand adds a sporty twist to the classic look. Theres the well proven, bulletproof 7S26C automatic movement, and a hardlex crystal, which whilst isn’t as tough as sapphire crystal is much more scratch resistant than standard mineral crystal.

The style of this particular Seiko is very much that of a business watch, and whilst it still looks fine with jeans and a polo shirt, its not really my idea of an outdoor oractivity watch, although its more than tough enough to handle almost anything you can throw at it! What’s not to like? Well, not much! If you’re not used to automatic mechanical watches, then you need to accept that they’ll gain or lose a few seconds a day; even luxury automatics costing thousands do that.

Night visibility isnt great, theres some limited lume applied to the hands, and small dots of lume at the foot of each silver baton. However, if you do want a really good watch in the dark, then Seiko do plenty! For starters take a look at the Seiko SNXS75K or SNXS77K.

Also, whilst the bracelet on this watch is fine at the price, it’s not fantastic. It was always my intention to buy a leather strap. Do this and the watch moves to an entirely higher level, even if you only spend as little as 15.

00 to 25. 00. Personally, I bought a black Hirsch Forest strap, and now the watch looks like something that would have cost over 300. 00 in a high-street jewellers. If youre looking for a classy and reliable timepiece for the office, or going-out, then you can’t really go wrong with this watch!.

A very simple and stylish watch as you would expect from a Scandinavian country. It is a fairly big dial at 40mm but wafer thin so it doesn’t seem big on the wrist. White dial and silver everywhere else with no lume so you won’t see it very well in the dark.

The tiny,tiny date window is a common feature it seems in Skagen watches so you really have to squint to read it. I think is is more of a dress watch than a utility watch. The silver Milanese band complements the watch nicely and it comes with quick release spring bars so you can easily swap it out for another band if you like.

These mesh bands are really easy to adjust to fit your wrist with no links to remove so one size fits all. One of the best designed snap in case backs that I have seen so battery replacement should be easy without scratching things up.

Overall a very good looking watch and a purchase I’m happy with.

This watch is a little smaller than I usually wear, but I love it anyway. It’s clean and neat looking, very stylish, easy to adjust, feels great on the wrist. I receive many compliments when I wear it.

I like it so much, I actually bought another just like it, only with a black face and love it as well.

I love this watch my girlfriend brought it for me for my birthday; its classy, elegant and compliment lots of my clothes. However my wrist is very small and getting it down to the second to last hole can be quite the task and sometimes can get uncomfortable when I’m wearing it for long periods of time.

I would recommend to fossil to please have regular and small band sizes for people may have smaller wrists or want to buy this for their children.
