I could not find locally, and was replacing existing faucet assembly similar what was there and this came the closest and was perfect fit. Thank you.

I bought this plumbing fixture to replace the corroded top portion of an old one installed at the time we built our house 28 years ago. The thread of the 2 top screws differed so I used the old screws to connect to the 2 intake pipes.

No leakage so far and the wife is happy.

I previously installed a Floodstop single-valve system for my dishwasher. It’s been in use for over six months without any problems. When I remodeled my laundry room, I decided to install this dual-valve system for my washing machine.

This system has two motorized valves (one for cold water, and one for hot). A single sensor sits on the floor near the washer (if you need to cover a larger area, you can purchase additional sensors, and “daisy chain” them).

It only takes a drop of water to set the system off and close the valves. It’s not hard to install. The unit uses AC power (includes an AC adapter), but also works on four (4) AA batteries (not included), to assure that the system works even if the power fails.

A red light and a beeping sound let you know that the system has been activated. Floodstop also sells an optional phone dialer for this system (it calls you to let you know that it went off). To keep the valves from sticking due to mineral buildup, the system automatically opens and closes the valves once a month (you can also open and close the valves yourself for testing).

So far, I haven’t had any problems. It’s nice to know that if there’s a ruptured hose or a water leak somewhere, nothing’s going to get flooded.

I installed these valves for a 2nd floor laundry, I figured it was a lot cheaper than the repair from a water leak. The valves are solid and shut off the water, seems well made. The control panel itself looks like it was designed by some college student working on a class project.

Functional, yes, but there obviously wasn’t much time put into the appearance. Likewise the sensors are just circuit boards with traces that are bridged to detect the water. Works great, KISS, but strictly utilitarian.

One gripe is the cables that connect the sensors, they look like they came out of a 1970’s computer, with those crappy little connectors everyone hated. Yes I would recommend this and I would purchase it again, but just wish it looked better, for the money spent.

I guess companies like Apple have raised the bar so we expect well made products that also look good too. If you are going to go to the trouble of manufacturing something, why not go that extra mile?.

For those of us with a second floor laundry room, this is a must have. I’d venture to say this is a must have with any laundry room after my experience. This was an essential item for us when we remodeled our upstairs laundry.

The previous configuration had no floor drain, and the room was above the garage. I was always wary and nervous of a leak, because there would be nothing to stop it if I wasn’t home. When we remodeled, we installed a floor drain and added this appliance.

Due to my lack of sleep (see note about installing floor drain) when I hooked the washer and dryer back up (we have a steam dryer that requires a water inlet from a Y on the cold supply) I forgot to check for the little rubber washer in the hose before turning on the supply.

When it started spraying, it hit the detector almost immediately, and I had less than a 1/4 cup of water on the floor. Easy to wipe up with a towel. I didn’t anticipate “testing” these until a catastrophe, but I was impressed at how well they worked.

If you have a steam dryer, the additional sensor is a good idea, though not entirely necessary. You could place the one included sensor in between your units, but just keep in mind that how ever long it takes water to reach the sensor, that’s more time that it will take to shut off the supply.

All in all, thrilled with this product and have recommended it to everyone I’ve talked to about it.

The product photo clearly shows two handles, 1 flat & 1 angled. My (sealed) kit was missing the flat handle, which of course is the one I needed. It is tough to tell which handle works until the front cover is on.

Tried bending the angle one but it was too short. Had to grind the rusted screw off of the old handle, but I got it to work. Very frustrating not having all the parts when the water to the house is turned off! It is also difficult to replace the handle when the valve is installed because of clearance.

Great replacement for my original valve that wore out after many years. It fit like an identical replacement. My disappointment is that the lever is extremely difficult to move. Almost unusable. I called the manufacturer and they said the difficulty is due to the water pressure and not the valve.

But my original valve was always very easy to turn on and off. I wouldnt purchase it again.

Replaced my 20 year old leaking pressure valve with its identical twin. A 5 minute replacement versus a replacing the entire box and cutting through the wall. The new part is working great.

The part arrived quickly, fit my Roper washer, and was easy to install. My machine had only wanted to wash with hot water and wouldn’t complete a full cycle- problem solved!

Had a water leak from the bottom of my LG Washer and discovered the inlet water valve was corroded and leaking. Found a matching replacement on Repair Clinic, reasonably priced and ordered it on a Monday.

I called numerous places where I live for the part I needed and no one carried it. The last place I called recommended Repair Clinic, and I have just viewed a video earlier in the day from the same site.

Needless to say, when I go to the site, I found the part in a matter of minutes, place the order, and it arrived on time. I installed the part i a few minutes and my washing machine no longer leaks. As an added bonus, their confirmation email included a video link for installation.

Had an M2 on an older house, keaking at lever. Pulled the front control unit off new valve, removed old front from leaking valve. Cleaned it all up eith a fine wire brush. Installed new front, tightened screws and presto! All done in 5 minutes.

Being brass there was no corrosion of older base casting. One tip I will give you is when doing this it is very easy to have the O-rings at the end of the valve face fall off. this will cause a leak (yup happened to me).

Make doubly sure you have your orings seated on the old base casting first. Excellent USA made quality product.

Replaced valve was in service 20+ years. It was a 2-M2 also, was dripping at handle stem. New valve dripped out hot water side, about 3 drips a minute. I can live with that, installed new hoses and washers.

Must be a bad casting because it leaked through the threads and then on the floor. Since I could not leave the house without water I purchased an other 2-M2 from the local hardware store. Installed it and no leak.

My wife all ways says if there is a defective part I am the guy who will get it.

Bought this one to replace an older one that was leaking. The new one is also leaking slight!y at the valve handle as well. Will try to tighten it up but likely will replace with individual inline ball valve shutoffs.

I will admit I have little experience with “laundry” valves other than this one. I am familiar with valves in general, and have done my own plumbing for 25 years, have done work for many friends and usually get delegated as building maintenance wherever I have worked.

(copper, brass, PVC, and PEX) That being said I had this exact valve in my current home (with acidic water that puts pinholes in copper) for what must have been over 25 years before the acidic water finally got to it.

As if that is not good enough, I love the design. there are 2 brass elbows that get sweated on to your 1/2 copper feed lines. And the body of the valve is attached to those elbows by the 2 big screws you see in the pic.

There are grommets between the elbows and the valve body and grommets under the heads of the screws. The really convenient thing about this set up is that if the valve itself goes bad from hard or acidic water you can just unscrew it from the elbows and screw the new valve on the old elbows with fresh grommets.

Literally a 5 minute job. The new valve does come with elbow pieces if yours are bad or you’re doing a new installation. In my particular case not only was my old valve beginning to leak but I replaced my cold water feed line as well.

So I ended up using one of the new elbows and have a spare. The hot water side where I left the old elbow on fit the new valve perfectly and no leaks. So great design. Great quality valve. Would use no other after this experience.

Got this to replace an existing Symmons valve. I just used the valve as the nubs are soldered on the pipes. Existing ones where fine. Just a note: apparently you need to use the valve every now and then.

My old one sat for years without use. For some reason that’s bad and it will fail after time.

I had one of these on my cloths washer for many years. Unfortunately I can’t recall how many but probably 10 or 15. In all those years, we never tuned the valve off. When the washer it was attached too finally developed a leak (a big leak), the valve would NOT shut off the water flow.

I had to shut of the water, both hot and cold, on the valves in the supply lines before this valve. When it came time to replace the W400, I looked at other units hoping they would be a direct swap into the water supply lines and wall installed box so I would not have to do a major retrofit.

I could not find such a thing and ultimately got the W400 as an easily in direct replacement. It was a perfect fit. We have vowed to deliberatly turn the valve off and on on a regular basis to insure it works when needed.

However, after getting it from Home Essentials Direct but before installing it, I was checking my local Home Depot and discovered I could get there for significantly less money. I returned the one I got from Home Essentials Direct and used the one I purchased from Home Depot, saving myself a significant amount of money.

The Home Essentials Direct vendor was great about the return, no questions asked.

This valve is a quick and easy way to guard against washing machine hoses bursting while you are not present (so long as you shut the valve each time you finish doing laundry). If you don’t use it properly and a hose lets go, it will flood.

Unfortunately it will not prevent a burst hose while the washing machine is in use, so use with steel mesh wrapped hoses is advisable.

The duo close has been around a very, very long time. The specs and dimensions have never changed. No washer should be installed without one of these. Smooth action. No burst hoses if closed after use.

A lifetime of use.

Our valve had stopped working after 20+ years of service. I ordered this replacement instead of replacing an older machine. It appears to be quite different in design from the original, but with the adapter plate, it mounts up easily.

Installation was quick and we now have clean clothes to wear again. I will state that this appears to be inexpensively made and does not compare to the original on the quality front. I hope to be able to get a few years out of this part.

Time will tell!.

I received the item with no issues. Was able to install it just fine. However, the cold water inlet had poorly molded threads. When I threaded the cold water hose it would not install straight and would leak when I turned the water back on.

This caused me to have to order another part from another vendor. Even that replacement part was the of the same (poor) quality and I wonder how long it’ll hold. This is not a knock on Repair Clinic at all.

They supplied me with the correct part but the quality of the part is just not as good (or even close to being as good) as the original (proper ABS plastic).

Water inlet valve on older Kenmore cracked during February Freeze. Got a replacement from these guys, and it works fine. I really appreciated the vids on site that helped very much. That they have 24/7 customer service is amazing too.

Works . Install was easy but the heat shield is bulky so my washer couldn’t close right. Had to jam it shut. Previous part didn’t have this heat guard tube hence fit better . However part works good .

The water valve came in the mail in about 4 days. It was a perfect fit and it works like it should. I would recommend it if you need one of these water inlet valves.

It works it fit and is identical to original except for the flow it seems to take twice the time to fill machine

The gaskets needed to be replaced and locally all the plumbers and plumbing supplier’s said just replace the entire washing machine turn-off. This turn-off was installed in a finished wall so it made no sense to replace the entire turn-off.

This gasket set solved the problem even though the turn-off wasn’t a Watts turn-off but one that looked identical to a Watts turn-off.

I bought the repair kit to fix a leak that is common with this shutoff valve. Changed out all o-rings and teflon disks and still had a leak. I wound up calling Watts directly and they are shipping me a replacement valve.

I did this for my next door neigbor. It worked out great. They were very happy. And i was happy with the out come. I am mechanically inclined so it wasn’t a difficult rebuild. I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone.

The water inlet valve on my washing machine needed to be replaced. My brother did the research on what was needed and the correct part number and sent me the link. I ordered the part and watched the video provided on your website.

I had a friend come over and replace the part for me (recent widow who has height challenges!). It went off without a hitch! (except somehow the hot and cold were backwards-easy fix!) The video was excellent! Couldn’t have done it without you!.

The valve fit perfectly, just like the original. Seems that the hot water flow is not equal as compared with the cold water flow. Both pressures and flows are the same as measured coming out of the valve/washer hose, (confirmed with inline pressure gauge and timed fill rate).

Could the hot water orifice in the valve body be restricted, by design?.
