20 Best Waist Trainer After Tummy Tuck (2023 Updated)

I am a slender woman with a definite “mommy pooch” after birthing 3 kids. Other expensive shapewear I’ve tried didn’t suck in that tummy the way I wanted. I got this for an upcoming family wedding I’ll be attending and it provides that extra firm tummy control I was looking for.

Not easy to wriggle into, but once it’s on, it’s decently comfortable (for shapewear. this is special occasion wear for me not something I’d want to wear frequently). I ordered my normal size (small).

I am really happy with this purchase because it gives me the silhouette I was looking for in my dress without me having to do months of major abs workouts! I’d recommend if you are looking for FIRM tummy pooch control and a smooth silhouette under a dress.

I am a 2x (18/20) in most clothing brands and in all my shape wear. I decided to purchase a 3x in this item just in case it ran small. Unfortunately, this shape wear in particular runs very small. I cannot get this item past my hips.

Although the material is of good quality and I know it would have been great if it fit, it doesn’t fit by at least 5 inches around my hips, and waist. That is truly disappointing. I highly recommend measuring yourself and looking at the sizing guide to purchase the correct size so you’re not disappointed.

I will be returning this item and sticking with the shape wear that fits true to size and is of the same or better quality.

I bought this to wear for my daughter’s wedding, as I was a little more overweight than I wanted to be. It was surprisingly comfortable for a garment that holds you in so much. I totally forgot I was wearing it.

It definitely makes me look slimmer, especially in a close-fitting dress. It also offers some back support. I guess it’s the modern equivalent of a corset! Would recommend.

Im starting to work out again and I have a big belly that I need to shrink ASAP. I hate being uncomfortable. I bought a waist trainer a couple years ago and it was extremely uncomfortable. This waist trainer feels comfortable and the material is not cheap at all.

And best of all it covers your entire torsal. My belly, including the pouch, is covered. I am able to sit down and bend easily.

It snap my belly in a lot more than others, even more than a maidens form extreme compression. It’s relatively comfortable although the top band still feel a bit restrictive since it overlaps with the bra band.

For reference, I’m 5’2 , 165 lbs, my belly looks like 5 months pregnant and the XL fits nicely. It is longer than some others. Pro is that my thighs don’t rub against each other, con is that you can’t wear it with very short dress.

The silicone at the thigh holds nicely and the instructions tell you to fold it up when you put it on so that it won’t bother you when you are pulling it up.

It was almost perfect but it was kind of long for me in the thigh area. I’m about 5‘2” and when I sat down my dress would go up a bit, and you could see this. Also, my dress was not too short, it was middle length.

I felt like I had to roll the legs up so that you can’t see it under my dress. As far as compression goes it did give me a nice smoother figure, it does not roll because there is a grip around the leg area on the top as well.

It was a little difficult to get on but maybe thats normal. If you are shorter I would suggest trying this on first.

I sized up one size from my regular legging size and this fits perfectly. Works better than Spanx!! My problem area is my mom pooch and this smooths/flattens it without being uncomfortable. The legs have sticky grip strips so the legs don’t ride up.

The waist hits right below my bra line and stays put. These are actually comfortable too. I think if I would have gotten my regular legging size, this would have more compression but would most likely be uncomfortable.

For the price, I would definitely recommend these. Does what they say.

The quality have definitely gone down. Granted, prices haven’t come up with this inflation but for sure the quality has decreased. I am 5’4 about 150lbs after two pregnancies. I wanted a chincher to keep everything in place and to get my waist back.

Well, this does not shape my waist, no hourglass shape. It looses shape to be advertised as FIRM compression. It gave me rashes all over my torso. Washed it like 3 times and still gives me rashes. It gives in (stretches) cuz i started on the outside hooks and after 1 washed an less than a week i am in the thinner hooks (3rd row) the worst part is that it creates small bump on my back, both sides, losing shape.

Lower Tummy compression is minimum, so if u had C-section, the upper part of the cut shows bulgy. If you are a bit fatty like me on the torso i do not recommend this cincher.

I’m in week 2. once I got it I thought the chart sizing had to be off but no it’s spot on, no rolling up , I can feel 100% it supporting by back and better posture. Everyone around me can see the difference and totally boosted my confidence level! Only 1 problem.

I should have got one wayyyyyy sooner! I think I already need the next size down, I’m mind blown how amazing and life changing this product actually is! Never thought something could do all of this! I can feel my body working muscles because I have the right support, actually sweating and feel my core warmer, but no so much that it’s gross or preventing me from wearing all day.

Best thing on the market you didn’t know you had to have lol good bye love handles and 2baby csection tummy! This gives me the smooth straighter body lines I’m looking for. With confidence burns the fire inside to live and do better.

Bought this to psychologically benefit from the deep pressure and help my posture. If that is your object look no further, this can act as a suit of armor protecting your solar plexus and keeping your back erect effortlessly.

I am of slim build with a long torso, size S based on Leonisa’s size chart fit me well and I find it very comfortable, with far less friction than most, say, bras with overly tightened straps can give you.

It’s still new so I don’t know if it holds up from wear but we shall see! I am not exaggerating when I say this purchase made my whole week.

The sizing was perfect, I was able to clip the waist trainer in the first clips when I first received it. The material does give and it’s not as hard as other waist trainers I’ve tried which I really like.

It doesn’t cause any bulges on my upper back or lower hips. I am 5’2” and it is on the shorter side so it covers my entire torso, it may be short for someone taller. It smooths my abdomen and also offers support for my back pain.

However, I noticed after wearing it a couple times that it has stretched out. And after having it only a week I can already clip it on the third clips. Since it’s stretched out I’m not sure how to get it back down to the size I want, other waist trainers I’ve had didn’t stretch this way, but since it stretches it is easier to wear daily and for long periods.

It is also easier to wear under clothes and people can’t tell. Other than being stretched out I highly recommend.

I just got my first SKIMS waist trainer in the mail. It is comfortable, breathable, soft, and it’s the first compression garment of this type that has NOT given me that big back fat roll. I am really impressed.

It came in a really cute black zip up case. I would recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear. I am 5’2, 135 and I ordered an extra small. It looked really tiny when I first took it out but it went on beautifully.

This actually works! My waist has actually shrunk. My pants are lose. The belt was big enough to wrap around my belly. I’m a fluffy girl, so I was worried it wouldn’t. So needless to say I was thrilled when it fit.

You have to be patient and not expect overnight results. Instructions say 3-12 weeks. So I wanted to give it a full 8-10 week cycle before giving my review. I plan to continue to use this in addition to my keto lifestyle.

This garment is very well made. I was equally impressed by the material and the stability and firmness of the garment. Learning how to properly put on this garment is essential. First time it took me about 30 min properly aline the garment to my legs but and arms.

I won’t lie you may need an extra set of hands to put on this garment. The abdomen area was very hard to put on alone. However once it’s on it was a perfect fit! I got a size large and if I would have gotten and XL it would have not fit as well as it did.

Remember the key of these types of garments are to squeeze and tuck. It’s not fun at first but we’ll worth the effort. I felt like a million bucks! Very pleased. I did however must say that the shipping took twice as long.

This is my first Snatch-Body purchase. I ordered it Tues, June 21 and received it Friday, June 24, with regular free shipping. I’m 4 weeks post-op today from lipo on: medial thighs, lateral thighs, full back, upper arms.

I chose the Post Surgery Faja With Sleeves & Bra to give me compression in all these areas. I was really nervous and confused about sizes and stages. After reading EVERY review, I decided to get the Medium.

The superior quality of the garment was apparent as soon as I removed it from the pouch. It was a bear to get on, and it was a Herculean effort to fasten the loosest hook and eye. I definitely would be more comfortable in the Large.

Once I got passed the midsection, I could use the middle and highest hooks. My arms and legs feel fully supported but not painfully so. It’s perfect. There is rubber/elastic inside the lace edges of the thighs, so it stays secure.

To get into the garment, I folded the rubber/elastic outwards, so that anti slip grip wasn’t working against me. The garment stops at my knees, which is perfect. The breast, hips, and butt is not compressed.

The garment allows clothes to easily slip on and off. I’m on the fence about the zip crotch. I’m used to a wide opening there. I did try to unzip it. I advise doing this carefully. I am BEYOND pleased with my purchase and will be making a new order for another Stage 1 (for arm and the longer leg compression) and one Stage 2 garment.

Comfortable. Worn on the 2nd hottest day this year in July 2022 (it was well over 30 degrees) and this was fine on me. The fit was as expected. The thighs fitted comfortably. Enough hold in the bottom/top of thigh area to give a good shape, even to those people who have ‘mattress/cloud-effect’ skin contouring.

I’d buy this again, happily.

I was skeptical as I am a lot chubbier than the model. Being a generous size 16, I tried on the XL as suggested, but it wasn’t that tight. I squeezed into the L and it is perfect. It stays put and I was finally able to get the zip done up on a dress I got for a party.

The dress sits much better now all the bulges are smoothed out. This was more than I have ever spent on shapewear, so I just hope this underwear lasts, as I find these garments tend to perish after a few years and have to be replaced, even if not worn very often.

This underwear is incredible! I wore for my hen do and it really does suck EVERYTHING in! I had my baby 9 months ago and was a bit worried about the ‘mum tum’ but after putting this underwear on, I felt incredible! I would highly recommend this product.

Make sure you take a waist measurement before placing an order, then order it one size smaller if your trying to lose weight rapidly. If you do not have someone to help you put it on, then order your first one true to waist size until you get used to putting it on by yourself.

I recommend laying on top of it & sucking in your stomach the first few times. Where it to sleep every night & you will start seeing results. If you wear it while working out, clean it with alcohol afterwards to minimize risk of mold/bacteria growth.

Totally love my trainer/corset. I’ve had a few from Amazon but they wore-out quickly. I recommend getting a size or 3 smaller just to make sure you have a good fit. My waste is a 40 but I got an XL to make sure I had a snug fit.

The only negative so far is it takes about 2 weeks to be delivered as it is coming from China but it’s so worth the wait.

Love the product. Misunderstood the use. Wish there were more information regarding product use as well as videos. Once I realized it was for something different than what I purchased for, it was good.

This is one of the best waist trainers I’ve bought. I normally fluctuate between an Xl-2x. I ordered a 2x because I didn’t want it to be too small. I definitely could’ve ordered an XL. I wear a 16-18 with a 45in waist.

The wrap around strap makes the fit super customizable and comfortable to be in all day or workout in.

I absolutely love my sweat band! It fits perfectly I just have to get used to wearing it, lol! I’m definitely going to purchase the sauna body one. I’m getting married in August and I need to tone all over! I look forward to buying more it feels so comfortable!.

Thank you for asking for my feedback. I will be returning the item because it is too big. The quality of the item is great and I love the way it felt on so I wish I could keep it. However, I sit in a wheelchair all the time and The brace is too wide, not too big around.

So it pushes up on my *******. I would love one not as wide but then I’m assuming it would be smaller around the body. This does overlap by a good 6+ inches. Please let me know if you think you have a solution.

I’ve tried many and this is a recurring problem. I see in the photo you have the binder down over the hips. This is not possible when sitting which I think is why it does not fit me right.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that this support can be properly put on without assistance. The picture and description would lead one to believe that this brace would be very effective in supporting abdominal panniculus.

not the case. With the return policy not being worth my while, seeing that I do not reside in the U. S. , I thought that I could try selling it online but. ODDLY the company cuts the tags off of the braces before shipping with no explanation why.

therefore I will not be able to advertise as new. Other then a sticker with the company name on a generic clear plastic zip bag there is absolutely no sign that the Braceability company has manufactured this item.

VERY disappointed with the item, as well as the the feedback from the company when I contacted them in regards to this issue. BEWARE!.

Why can’t this be longer than 12 in. I’d really prefer one that can truck my entire abdominal area. I am a plus woman with a belly that hangs over because of my weight. I really wish there was a product out there that would take into consideration that not all bodies are build the same.

Please create a longer one and that doesn’t roll down when you sit. Maybe add some straps to hold it up?.

This waist trainer helps you have great posture while appearing to make your waist smaller in inches. I’m using this after having a c-section 3 weeks ago instead of using the hospital abdominal binder (it works better and I can put it on myself).

Prior to my c-section, I used this waist trainer during my cardio exercises. I loved how much it made me sweat during exercising and how it showed my abs more afterwards.
