This variety of peanut – grown only in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma – is naturally sweet and intensely peanutty, eliminating the need to add any kind of sweeteners or flavor enhancers. In other words, no sugar here.
br p Peanut Butter Has Superfood Nutrients. Peanut butter has reached the status of a superfood. Peanut butter is a rich source of niacin, folate, Vitamin E along with a host of other essential nutrients and minerals.
Okay. here’s the deal. you never need to try another brand of peanut butter again. Do yourself a favor, head to your local TJ’s and walk right to the peanut butter isle. Chose the regular Trader Joe’s salted peanut butter with the red label or the salted crunchy peanut butter with the blue label.
And when you get them home, store them upside down so the oil finds it’s way to the bottom of the container instead of the top!!.
TJ’s peanut butter is my absolute favorite!!! I love that it only has one ingredient, peanuts. It’s super, super flavorful and it has plenty of crunchy peanut bits in it. It’s easy to stir and, pro tip, leave it upside down in your pantry and you’ll never have to re-stir it! It’s super affordable at $1.
99 per jar and it’s pretty much the only peanut butter I ever use!!!.
Trader Joe’s Mushroom and Company Multipurpose UMAMI Seasoning Blend Natural ingredients prized for their own umami-rich flavor including Kosher salt, dried onions & thyme Porcini mushroom powder and a custom blend of seasonings Add extra richness to soups or stews NET WT.
Use a sprinkle of Mushroom and Company to add a boost of savory flavor to just about any dish.
For those who are sensitive to msg, you need this product! Mushrooms have glutamate, and that means they bring umami to anything you add it to. Umami is that scrumptious, savory flavor that cranks up the taste of the food and makes you want to go back for more.
It’s a power-up for your cooking! And for those who don’t care for mushrooms, don’t fret. I am not the biggest lover of mushrooms, and trust me when I say that you don’t taste mushroomy at all. It just intensifies the flavors that are already in the food itself.
Try this and you will be surprised and excited at how much flavors will improve.
Loooveee this on eggs, anyway cooked! Also a must on avocado toasts topped with sunny side up eggs. Just like its namesake, it’s got a hard to describe “umami” flavor. Super flavorful, savory and somehow ties in other parts of your meal.
Well priced at approx $3, lasts awhile even when used almost daily. FYI, 140mg of sodium per 1/4 teaspoon.
Everyone raves about Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, but this seasoning blend is Trader Joe’s hidden gem. Don’t know why it’s from “Mushroom and Company,” as mushroom is pretty low down on the ingredients list, but I use this on every veggie-heavy meal I make! It’s great on tofu, broccoli, asparagus – great on stovetop foods and even better on roasted things.
Plant based umami is hard to find, so this is a gem. And, it’s super affordable and easy to source – every TJs I’ve visited in California stocks this stuff.
This variety of peanut – grown only in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma – is naturally sweet and intensely peanutty, eliminating the need to add any kind of sweeteners or flavor enhancers. In other words, no sugar here.
A sweet combination of corn, red peppers, onion and a touch of heat 13. 75 oz jar Not all salsa are made with tomatoes! Popular recipes found throughout Mexico & the Tex-Mex border region contain everything but the tomato.
Slightly sweet with a touch of heat. Try it as a dip for chips or spread it on tacos, burritos and taquitos.
One word: miraculous. I would buy this dip over all other dips. It is rich in flavor and for the price provides a good amount of product. My only downfall to this product is how narrow the opening is, I always love an opening where I can scoop a large spoonful of dip to transfer it.
With this opening I feel like I have to dump the dip and it gets messy. Still absolutely love this dip.
Love eating this with corn chip scoops. The corn brings on a sweet taste. The peppers have a bit of smoke flavor. It’s loaded with mustard seeds, they taste great. It’s a bit on the sweeter side so it pairs really well with something salty to balance.
We’re huge fans of Trader Joe anything but the corn and chile tomato-less salsa is one of our favorites for sure. Never tried a tomato-less salsa but this goes so well with tortilla chips and it’s perfectly sweet and salty.
I had always used shower gel for my soap but I started to have skin reactions to multiple different brands so I switched over to this bar soap and I couldn’t be happier. It feels great on my skin and the little bits of oatmeal are a very gentle exfoliator.
The scent is not too strong at all, and I don’t feel like my skin is dried out after, like most bar soaps.
This is the best soap ever! I love how clean the ingredients are, and I was very surprised and how well it lathers. Not only does it smell amazing too, but I feel so clean AND moisturized after using it! It is fantastic for the price as well.
This soap sounded like a good idea. Oatmeal and honey and all the goods. When you open it, there is a very overpowering smell of cinnamon. It’s very firm and chic looking. I don’t suggest using it as body/face wash however.
My skin is easily irritated and prone to dryness, and the soap made things even rougher. Use it for your underwear instead.
Organic Chia SeedSize : 12 OuncesProduct Information Organic Chia Seeds, from the plant scientifically known as salvia hispanica, pack a powerful nutritional punch into a very small serving. In a single serving, you get eight grams of fiber, four grams of protein and two grams of Omega-3 fatty acids.
I love buying chia seeds from Trader Joe’s. They are affordable and the bag has lasted me a couple of months. I use my chia seeds daily in my smoothies and noticed that it has helped my digestive system.
I’ve noticed a consistency in taste and have not had any issues! I am running low and can’t wait to go to Trader Joe’s to buy some more!.
You can never go wrong with chia seeds! Packed with so many nutrients and good for the bowels!! My favorite is adding it to my overnight oats or blending them to making chia pudding. Will always be a staple in my pantry.
Trader Joe’s is an excellent brand, and one of my favorite places to shop! Always high quality that you can expect. The chia seeds can be added to smoothies, or a plethora of other recipes. Did I mention they’re a superfood?.
Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute blend is one of the best seasonings I’ve come across. It’s great for beginner cookers not sure which seasonings to use as you can just use this and get all you need. It has herbs, pepper, cumin, mustard, celery seed, onion and more in it and it will have your meats tasting great.
I use it on chicken and steak. I also put it on eggs and in my pastas. It is low in sodium and low cost. The holes in the pour spout are a bit large so you need to sprinkle lightly to avoid over pour.
I wish I could give it more stars. This blend is unmatchable, it is literally good on any meat it touches, great for flavoring soups and potatoes. I literally use a bottle a month , and it’s mostly myself and husband.
No sugar. No salt, all flavor. Amazing!!! Then there’s the price- $2. Yup, I typed that correctly. I will never be out of this blend in my kitchen for as long as they make it. I buy 5 bottles at a time ( I don’t get there very often) you don’t know it yet, but you NEED this in your cooking repertoire.
This seasoning is amazing. I put it on chicken alone and bake in the oven for a tasty dinner. I can stir fry some vegetables with it, or even add it to homemade spaghetti sauce in the crock pot. It’s a perfect seasoning that I always have a back up in case I run out.
Bursting with flavor, Abbot’s “Chorizo” is packed with zesty chilies and a hint of smokiness, making it the perfect way to spice up any dish. Relish in classic Mexican dishes like “Chorizo” Street Tacos and Enchiladas, delicious breakfast fare like “Chorizo” Omelets and Scrambles, or spice up favorites like a Spicy “Chorizo” Chili and “Chorizo” and Jalapeño Pizzas.

With our plant-based meats, you can be sure that you’re only indulging in exceptional ingredients, never a trace of additives, natural flavors, soy or canola.

I picked some of this up yesteday and made some enchiladas. My husband absolutely loved them – he couldn’t even tell that it was vegan. He thought it was regular chorizo! And best of all – this product is made with ingredients I actually felt good about eating.
No soy, no other fillers or additives. Win win! I’ll definitely be making this a regular in our household – tacos next time!.
Bought this because it is plant based and no soy but will buy again and again for the taste. Excellent seasoning that made the breakfast tacos and black bean soup so delicious. Both dishes even better than with the chorizo I used to use.
I I will admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. Since I have a tried many other different vegan products and it just leaves that weird aftertaste in your mouth. But I found this vegan chorizo to be very delicious great spices no weird aftertaste and just a really good flavor I will definitely buy this again.
Little on the runnier side would prefer a slightly thicker consistency but the flavor is great. Definitely worth it for the price, especially when you don’t feel like cooking. Heard mixing in boursin cheese to it is good but haven’t tried it personally.
Great. Every time I can consume 2 bowls of it. It’s really delicious. It is not that sour and not rich in sodium. I even put dumplings inside of the soup and it also taste great. And the price is also affordable.
I actually like this soup better than the popular name brands out there. Flavorful, easy to make, and you can have a hot meal ready in just a few minutes. Perfect for lunch or to pair with a grilled cheese sandwich for a light dinner.
If you’re at Trader Joe’s, grab a few and try them for yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Not the best reheated but this pasta is such a fun and delicious gluten free pasta choice. We favor it with a little butter, sweet baby peas, and scrambled eggs or with a classic bolognese. The oats will breakdown second day.
I LOVE THIS PASTA, Banzaa was a no go for me. So i tried Trader Joes version (I would say). I truthfully have not tried anything that matches this. I am very picky with “healthy” foods and because pasta is just amazing, its hard to stray away from whiet grain.
THIS MADE IT EASY, MUST BUY if you are looking for healthy alternative.
Veggie goodness for you and the planet. The tasty and nutritious way to add the savory taste and texture of juicy ground beef to all of your favorite recipes – spaghetti sauce, lasagna, sloppy joe’s, chili, stuffed peppers, and more! At lightlife, our passion is delicious food.
And because veggie food takes less from the land, each meal is your own, simple way of doing the world, and yourself, a little extra good. Since 1979, lightlife has been committed to creating vegetarian food that is good for you and the planet.
That is why lightlife contributes 5% of its profits to organizations that work to protect children, the environment, and human rights.
I bought at Grocery Outlet for like $1 so cannot complain about the price. The nutrition was also good compared to the other vegetarian crumbles. The taste though of these was strange and weird texture.
I like Lightlife’s deli slices but won’t be buying their crumbles again.
Can’t say I like the Lightlife. The product tasted smoking or some what a burnt taste. First time for me as I always buy Ives but thought i would shake it up. I guess the taste could grow on you but I will pass on the attempt.
Ives for me all the way – they have Original, Italian and Mexican ground – yum yum.
Love this stuff! Wanted tacos and grab this because their seasoned one was out at the store. Added my own blend of cumin, cayenne pepper, onion powder, little salt and pepper! Toped with some black beans Delicious, salsa, avocado, jalapeños, and cilantro! Delicious! Great plant-based option!.
Edward & Sons Size : 3. 5 Ounces I used brown rice penne pasta that I got from Trader Joes and added a veggie chicken substitute. I made the packet according to the directions on the package. for the half cup of water, I used a watered down coconut milk to make it creamier.
I also felt the sauce needed more liquid than the package suggested. Just add liquid as you stir until it reaches your desired consistency.
Whole grain brown rice biscuits with black and white sesame seeds, 100 g. I should have bought a couple of packs. Very tasty! Delicate, moderately salty, crunchy “crackers”, somewhat reminiscent of airy rice cakes in taste.
The best choice for those who like to chew on something, such as chips. Gluten free. I will also buy this option and other types. Ingredients: organic brown rice flour, organic white rice flour, black sesame seeds, organic tamari soy sauce (water, organic soy, salt, organic alcohol), sesame seeds, organic cane sugar.
Exotic Nutrition’s Veggie Blend is naturally loaded with vitamins and minerals, with a taste and crunch that pets adore. This healthy treat contain sweet potatoes, carrots, green peas, and 2 types of peppers.
Offer dried or soak in water to soften. Easier than fresh vegetables! Great HEALTHY treat for Degus, Chinchillas, Prairie Dogs, Rabbits, Sugar Gliders and other animals. Healthy treats have several benefits for both pets and pet owners.
Treats can lend variety to an otherwise monotonous diet, provide good exercise for teeth and jaws, and add behavioral enrichment for animals that spend their lives in a small, limited environment. Most importantly, treats form a connection between pets and pet owners, assisting in bonding and training.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION: This product is a treat and should be fed sparingly, it is not a substitute for a regular, balanced diet. Offer treats 2-3 times per week or as a small portion (less than 20%) of the main diet.
Treats may lead to health issues like obesity when overfed. If your pet is not consuming its regular balanced diet, withhold serving treats until stable eating habits resume.
Be aware that this product is actually one of two different veggie blends. It has pepper (bell peppers?) whereas the nutrition facts in the last image are of a different veggie blend, one without peppers.
It still strange that this product is one of two different blends. -Hans Y. [Response from Seller: Thank you for your review Hans. We do our best to source all ingredients locally, but sometimes the dried vegetable ingredients are substituted based on availability.
Please reach out to customer support with any questions or concerns, thank you. ].
Our original meatless chik patties make mealtime easy! Bake or grill for a tender sandwich that’s sure to delight. With 53% less fat than regular chicken patties and with 160 calories per serving, they make for a yummy chicken sandwich.
What is this food voodoo?!?? If you handed me one of these patties on a bun and told me it was a breaded chicken patty, I would believe it completely. The only thing I would have to say about this faux chicken would be “can I have another one?” I’ve been trying to eat more healthily.
I love a giant cheeseburger, or a crispy chicken burger with lots of mayo and pickle slices. I don’t want to give up food that I love. So what I have been doing is finding decent (hopefully good) replacements for foods that I love, i.
e. pizza (going to make my own cauliflower crust today) and chicken burgers. There used to be a brand of “burger” called Gardenburger which I loved. But I wasn’t able to find them. So I thought I would try these Morningstar Meatless Chicken Patties, based on the reviews of generous and thoughtful Walmart shoppers.
🙂 I fired up the oven and got ready for “the chicken patty experiment. ” These Meatless Chicken Patties look like generic little breaded patties. I put one on a cookie sheet, and turned it over after about ten minutes.
That’s when I realized that- it smelled like a real chicken patty. Like the kind you get at the “cartoon sailor”‘s drive-through. It was getting nice and crispy golden brown, and smelled really good.
I toasted a keto hamburger bun (also available at Walmart- thanks, Walmart!) and added some low-fat mayo and dill pickle relish. I didn’t have any lettuce or tomato, but I didn’t want too many flavors/variables that might be distracting in the faux chicken patty test.
I took a bite. And- I was blown away. It tasted just like a breaded chicken burger. No weird aftertaste- it wasn’t mushy- it absolutely tasted like a real chicken patty. Very satisfying. And I didn’t get that sort of too-full, I ate too much grease kind of feeling that I get after consuming one of those fast food, delicious but super fattening, crispy fried chicken patties.
The first time I had fake meat was many years ago, when a health-nut buddy cooked some for me, insisting it would taste as good as real meat. It- didn’t. I would rather have eaten a deep-fried sweat sock (sorry, buddy.
). But that was in the early 90s. As that old commercial said “[we’ve] come a long way, baby!” when it comes to choosing healthy meat alternatives. I will ALWAYS have these in my freezer. Delicious- affordable- and healthy.
A great, yummy, quick lunch. Kids would love these- they are just as tasty as a chicken nugget (and are made of better ingredients, I imagine. ). I hope Walmart always has them in stock. Try these. You will not be disappointed!.
So I’m not a vegetarian or a vegan, but decided to try a few options for my health and weight loss. I absolutely love making sandwiches with Tyson chicken patties (Oncor is another brand). I decided to try these even though we’ve tried meatless nuggets which were DISGUSTING.
But these chicken patties have the same texture (big thing for me) and taste as a chicken patty. I definitely couldn’t tell the difference if the two were in front of me. I personally put mine between a few leaves of romaine (cutting carbs) with jalapeños – because I love ‘em! It’s my guilty pleasure midnight snack.
I would urge any skeptic to try these…because I am a SUPER PICKY human being and anyone who knows me would tell you they won’t try to feed me…my kids are worse lol.
After the sausage patties were ruined this year by the change to a vegan recipe, I took solace in the fact that I could still enjoy Chik Patties. I didn’t love them quite as much as sausage patties, but they were still a staple in our house for the last 30+ years.
Well, all of that has changed since these have recently received the same treatment as the sausage patties. I noticed eating one that was bought recently that it didn’t taste the same or have the same texture.
So I looked at the packaging and sure enough the recipe has quietly been changed to an inferior vegan version. I don’t need to ramble on and on here about how terrible the new recipe is or how everyone I know is going to stop eating these just like they have stopped eating the terrible sausage patties.
I’ll just reiterate what I said in my review of the sausage patties: make a vegan version that tastes worse, fine. Just also please make the original vegetarian version again so all of us who grew up eating these can continue to enjoy them.

I have been eating these Chik’n strips for years and loved them in so many different recipes. I ate them at least once a day and sometimes for lunch AND dinner. I would buy 10+ packages a week, when i could find that many.
This product was the best meatless protein available, by far and i have recommended them to every other vegan and vegetarian I know. Until now. The new recipe is horrible. They are a strange texture, greasy and they just taste terrible.
I bought a bunch of bags of the new version before realizing there was a new recipe. I made several of the recipes I always make with them and ended up throwing the food away. I decided to see if something with the product had changed and I found out that Morningstar changed the recipe.
Why would you change the best meatless product available into an awful, strange product? And why hasn’t Morningstar Farms responded to all of the terrible reviews and quickly figured out how to get back to the original recipe??? You have lost so many customers, and not customers who occasionally buy these.
Read the reviews. They are all from customers who live off this product. Please fix this. I won’t buy the new recipe, but they are now fully stocked at every store. I understand that this is not an easy request, but listen to your customers.
You have loyal customers who absolutely love the previous version of this product and would continue to buy them in large quantities. Please fix this.
I already wrote a review but I guess it was deleted. My original review was that this new recipe isn’t good and I stand by that. I’ve tried cooking these strips in every way I used to and they just don’t work anymore.
Now, I reached out to MS about this and their response was this: Hi, we recently changed the recipe as part of our clean label initiative. Our goal was to keep the taste and texture as close to the original as possible while using simple, clean ingredients.
We’re sorry you think we missed the mark and will be sure to share your feedback with the foodies in the kitchen. ” I applaud MS for trying to do better, but it doesn’t matter how clean the ingredients are.
If the product is inedible, we’re not going to touch it. I hope they can find a happy medium with both healthy practices and flavor.
I don’t like to over-eat, so I tend to eat small means. The MorningStar Veggie Chik’N Strips is the perfect solution because it has 23-grams of protein in a smaller amount of product than other brands that require you eat too much and feel stuffed to get the same quantity of protein.
I wish it were easier to find in the grocery stores. The only place I can find them is WalMart which is less convenient a drive than five of my local supermarkets. I’ve been vegetarian/vegan for nearly four decades.
It wasn’t easy to find meatless products so long ago, but now they’re thankfully everywhere with so many choices, but unfortunately many of them are not so healthy, particularly the high-carbohydrate breaded products.
The Veggie Chik’N Strips are a healthy choice for my preference. Please make this product available in more stores! Thank you for making such a delicious Chik’N alternative product.

Although I am not strictly a vegetarian, I really enjoy eating vegan foods. Sometimes, I just do not want to eat meat and whenever I am in that kind of mood, I am glad that I have these garden veggie burgers in my freezer.
They sort of have the same flavor as the vegetable sticks that my elementary and middle school cafeterias used to serve. They were one of the few things that I actually liked to eat from the school lunchroom! Each veggie burger is only 110 calories, has 11 grams of protein, and has 70% less fat than regular ground beef.
There are several different ways that you can cook these, as stated in the instructions, but I choose the quickest option, which is the microwave. Ready in just a minute and a half, I always have time to enjoy my favorite veggie burger, no matter how busy my day is.
These are a repeat buy for me and I cannot recommend them enough!.
These veggie burgers were my weekly favorite. They are full of protein and great flavor. Kroger stopped carrying them in the Cincinnati region, then I was buying them from Meijer, then they stopped carrying them.
Now no where to be found. Please do not discontinue these Tomato & Basil Pizza Veggie Burgers. Our whole family like them. Do you have a online option to purchase? these are a great product that doesn’t try to recreate the taste of meat ( impossible etc.
) but has great plant based flavors. I am so tired of the other products that try to recreate meat flavors and textures. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years now, my family and kids are also vegetarian.
Please keep making these and give options to purchase these online.
In every vegan magazine across the world Green Giant Veg Burgers WERE THE BOMB. Absolute heaven. Then Morning Star bought them and they were never to be heard or seen again. I don’t understand why you buy the product; the receipe and then make it disappear.
Or why, Green Giant the hands down favorite of all things veggie burger abandoned the product line, the customers. abandoned us. All vegans who never heard or had the great good luck to try a Green Giant veggie burger, my heart weeps for you.
and then General Mills solld Green Giant altogether. Why? oh Why? oh Why? Granted Green Giant was not Le Sueur, but it was far far far better than anything else on the shelf. But General Mills dumped all of Green Giant and now we have more of the same bland canned nothingness, that if you didn’t know what you were eating, you wouldn’t know by the taste or textrue what it was.
These are good. I was surprised. For years I have been making my own from an adapted Richard Simmons receipe I created years ago. Not wanting to stand in a California summer heat kitchen, soaking, cooking, cooling, mashing, mixing both white and black beans for the base, I bought one package of these.
I went back and bought two more. The texture is a bit off as the bigger identifiable bits of ingredients tend to make the burger fall apart from itself like a slightly overly moist ‘meat’ ball, instead of holding together like a good burger texture.
BUT those bits are what give these veggie burgers the punch they need and would not be as good if ground up or if altered in a different way, imo. I still have to top it with mustard to make it edible, but not smother with mustard as I had done in the past.
I am not a fan of the spice ones, I bought those on accident. They are like eating cardboard made with chili powder. imo and only my opinion, these are the best option available on the market. Oh to have Green Giant back, the real honest to goodness receipe they sold into oblivion.

I surprisingly found these very tasty. As a person who was turned into a vegetarian (not by choice) due to a stomach issues I have been trying to find a burger to kill my craving of having a real hamburger.
A lot of meats contain soy protein and I’m allergic to soy as well so I am very limited on what I can eat. I have tried a lot of meatless items and have not liked any of them. These patties have been tasty.
I eat the patty alone without a bun nor sauce or toppings. I’ve am impressed.
These Hilary Veggie Burgers were very tasty! The flavors are very similar to southern style dressing. These have very little protein, so aren’t truly a burger substitute, nutritionally speaking. I prepared them in a Toaster Oven (recommended method), it took about 25 minutes and produced a patty with a nice crunch.
The package also has instructions for microwave and pan preparation. I ate them on their own, but think they would be a nice addition to a salad or wrap. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
I have purchased almost every brand of veggie patty there is, partaking of a range from the sublime to the abysmal, and sadly this set a new standard for the latter. It was soooo dry, and fell apart in a way that reminded me of sand granules.
It had such a flat flavor profile Id be hard pressed to describe the taste of any ingredient it contained. I really wanted to love it, and kept searching for words to put a positive spin on my meal, but I just cant.

Family owned & independent since 1980. Outdoor grill approval. Gourmet, meatless and delicious! This classic Italian sausage is a versatile as your imagination. You can enjoy it on a bun with peppers and onions, sliced into spaghetti sauce or grilled on the barbeque.
It can add zip to your favorite lasagna or a real heartiness to any soup recipe. Diced sun-dried tomatoes and basil give this sausage a wonderful, slightly sweet taste that will have you saying squisito! 50% Less fat than typical pork Italian sausage.
Tofurky Italian sausage (100 g) contain 13 g fat and 0 mg cholesterol. Typical pork Italian sausage (100 g) contain approx. 28 grams of fat and 65 mg cholesterol. Made in the USA.
Just as chicken is not supposed to look and taste like beef, and beef is not supposed to look and taste like pork, and pork is not supposed to look and taste like chicken–are you getting the picture?–tofurky is not supposed to look and taste like chicken, turkey, beef, pork, lamb, or veal (which is really just young beef).
It is supposed to look and taste like another kind of meat–namely, the meatless kind. Tofurky Italian Sausages taste great, because they’re loaded with spices, and generally have the same kind of texture that meatful meat has: You can cut them up into small pieces that you add to salads, mashes, hashes, casseroles, porridges, soups, and stews, you can slice ’em into halves and stick ’em into sandwiches, and you can slice ’em the other way and put ’em on pizzas.
Once upon a time, long, long ago, I was in a supermarket: It was when ground turkey had just come out. As I was making my selection of some ground turkey, a bystander said to me, “What do you do with it?” I said, “First, you make some burgers, then you cook the burgers, then you eat the burgers.
And, if all goes well, you won’t be hungry anymore. Don’t forget the ketchup. “.
These have an odd taste, nothing Italian about them that I could tell and the texture is hard to describe. I’ll say the closest I can come is that it is similar to instant mashed potatoes without enough water.
I couldn’t eat an entire link and I can usually eat anything. I even made the mistake of buying two packages of them and I’m throwing away one unopened package and the three remaining ones from the other package too.
This is unheard of for me to throw food away, but these are that bad and I don’t want to take a chance they might make my dog sick.
My family uses these just right but not too spicy sausages in big rolls for 4th of July with trimmings (or any time), cut in coins with spaghetti, so good with eggs, goes with just about any sauteed veggies.
Top chili or Mexican beans with it, zings up the flavor. The ingredients are healthier than many veg meat alternatives, too. Vital wheat gluten and tofu are excellent protein sources Not super “processed”, no engineered ingredients.
My wife picked this up at our local Target during one of her weekly “Target Therapy” sessions. I don’t eat frozen meals often, and growing up it was considered a sin to eat anything over pasta other my grandmother from Italy’s famous “Sugo” sauce.
I opened the freezer and was intrigued by the catchy packaging, and I threw it in the ole nuker. I must say, I was very impressed. Sauce tasted fresh and had that zing that tantalizes your tastebuds and makes you want more.
I quickly heatedup another! Quality was spectacular, in fact I am heading to my local target to pick up a few of the pesto ones. I plan on heating them up, throwing them on a fancy plate, pouring a nice glass of red, and telling the ole lady I made it from scratch.
We saw the coupon on Target Circle/Wallet for this product line and decided to give a couple dishes a try. This is the first one We have had and it is delicious! WE love that it is vegan. It tastes that good.
We definitely pick up more and buy WEEKLY! The one thing we would change is perhaps cooking it just a bit less than the instructions indicate. The pasta got a bit dried out in our Black Decker microwave.
I saw the coupon on circle for this product line and decided to give a couple dishes a try. This is the first one I’ve had and it is delicious! I love that it’s vegan, but I honestly can’t tell. It tastes that good.

High in protein and both soluble and insoluble fiber Good sources of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants Smooth and melt in your mouth Heirloom and naturally gluten free Grown in USA with minimal or no pesticides and require little water to grow Rich, creamy and mild, yellow eye beans are delicious without fuss.
They’re essential for New England baked beans but versatile enough for almost any cuisine. Try them in baked beans, soups, casseroles and dips. Yellow Eyes are beautiful and versatile beans. You’ll find them just as at home in a New England pantry, waiting to meet a smoked ham hock as you would a vegan restaurant paired with seasonal vegetables for a rich, delicious soup.
The cooked beans are soft and melt-in-your-mouth smooth. They are mild enough that they’ll take on any of the flavors you use during cooking. The best celery, carrot, onion and garlic from your local farmers’ market with a little extra virgin olive oil would make anyone happy.
A smoky ham hock would feel fine resting in a pot with Yellow Eyes. The more you cook with Yellow Eyes, the more you will love them. The flavor and texture make regular Navy beans seem sad, but you can replace Navy beans with Yellow Eyes in almost any recipe.
This beans are heirloom but not organic. They are grown with minimal to no pesticides. Grown in California, USA.
RG beans are hard to get these pandemic days. Thanks to myPanier, only one bag per order, I got my hands on Yellow Eyes (link from RG website). Love the name. My favorite color. These beans are so creamy it’s as if I added heavy cream, but I didn’t.
In conclusion, the vegetarian food at Trader Joe’s is pretty good. There are a lot of options to choose from, and the food is reasonably priced. The only downside is that some of the food can be a bit bland.
