20 Best Two Seater Ride On Cars (2023 Updated)

After researching several cars online, and visiting walmart and Target for several months. We decided to buy the Moderno Kids Jeep because of the positive reviews online. The features that sold me were the oversize of the car, this vehicle can fit 2 kids without a problem, Our 5 year old Grandaughter takes her baby cousins for a ride all the time.

It’s got 2 power modes, normal and fast, the rubber wheels really grip in all kinds of terrain, grass, gravel, pavement and rocks are no problem for this vehicle. Soft vinyl adjustable seats and seatbelts, our Grandaughter has learned the value of seatbelts just from using this jeep, onboard entertainment and bright lights for driving at night, battery can run for hours.

Our Grandaughter loves the car a lot. Our family is so impressed by it that that my brother in law bought another one for his kids and our neighbor bought one for their daughter. Whenever we are asked which car to buy we recommend Moderno.

My 2. 5 year old loves his jeep. Compared to most other cars like it this one blows them all away. It will go most anywhere we let him try it on rough gravel roadway, yard with medium high grass over yard edging into mulch beds.

His jeep even pulls medium hills that all the others just get hung up and spin. There are even rough bike trails through thick leaves and small brush he can plow right through even his friends John Deere tractor gets stuck regularly trying to follow him.

Those plastic tires everyone else use on there cars are a joke and spin even in the yard grasses. Power steering , Full spring suspension, padded seat,make it the most comfortable of all his friends cars.

He can go through mulch, over flower bed edging this is where ALL the others get hung up. Its wide and stable so the back yard hills when he turns there are no worries about tipping.

Prior to purchasing this truck for my grandson, I researched many vehicles and was impressed with the features of this one. There were some negative comments but not enough to sway me away from purchasing it.

I must say that two weeks into the delivery, I continue to be satisfied with the vehicle. It took approximately 3 hours to assembly it. There was only one missing part (which was insignificant) and I went to our local hardware store and purchased a similar item which worked fine.

The vehicle is AWESOME and my grandson LOVES it. He is most impressed with the remote control and wanted me to get in to ride so that he could use the remote. My biggest problem was with the warranty (totally my fault).

I forgot to add it to the cart before I purchased the truck. After several phone calls between Moderno and CPS, I was finally able to gt an extended warranted. At this point, was are very happy consumers.

Jeep does not perform as advertised. Description reads 1. 5 to 5 mph. This vehicle does not go faster than 3mph, if that. We have taken it out on a few walks on a flat sidewalk and we out-walk it every time.

My children as well as the neighbors children will not even ride it because it is so slow. Looks great, but way too slow. Our other daughters 6 year old Disney jeep, which claims a top speed of 5ph, literally runs circles around this thing.

We have to tell her to put it in slow mode when we go on walks just so our youngest doesn’t get left in the dust with her brand new Aosom Outdoor 2-Seated Childrens Truck w/ Parental Remote Control.

Truck is smaller than the picture looks. Not very suitable for two kids unless they are both baby size. For the price ill return it and byy two separate power wheels

Price is to high for what it was. Seen alot nicer power wheels cars for half the price. Must been the new Christmas price tax and all $518.00 really. I would not buy again

It’s small, very small, truly only good for one kid. The songs are cute but definitely sung in a strong accent. It’s cute though, serves its purpose foe one small kid.

My little boy was SO excited! This toy is the cutest, they have headlights, a stereo an aux cord to play our own music and best of all, we can drive the car for him with the remote control!

Just what we wanted! Easy to assemble and top quality! My son was surprised!

Awesome truck with really cool additions! I honestly thought it was like the old school truck toys where there wasn’t much to put together so I was pretty surprised to find out how much you had to assemble.

That being said, though, it wasn’t difficult at all. It took me a few hours putting it together by myself because I’ve never done this before. Plus it was pretty heavy and I’m petite but still it’s definitely doable.

There was a quite a few trial and error issues but I managed to figure it out. It also comes with a remote so if your kids don’t feel like putting in the work to drive it (like mine did) you can help them out.

After all that, would I still buy this Without a doubt! My two toddlers love it!.

Product was easy to assemble, and is pretty well built for a kids ride on toy. Ours came with a cracked hood, we called customer service that night and I was extremely impressed with their customer service department.

The replacement part came in a week. The only negative thing I have to say is that the rear springs and shocks are too stiff to really allow any suspension travel even when adjusted to the softest setting.

I have a steep driveway and the truck does bog down slightly but makes it up no problem. Traction on the grass is also pretty impressive. I recommend this product.

First, big thing that I think should be mentioned is that this comes in 2 separate packages. One shipped via fedex and the other shipped via UPS. The wheels came first from UPS and the rest of the jeep came the next day via fedex.

It was easy to assemble, although the instructions made absolutely no sense they were like “put here push now OK”, but you really don’t need them to figure out where everything goes it’s pretty straight forward.

The headlights are awesome, they have the regular headlights and colorful ones. You can hook your phone up via aux and the music is decently loud and clear for it coming from a toy car! It has 3 speed settings, which we never use anything below the fastest for my 2 yr old son, it has a nice slow take off so it doesn’t jerk them around either.

The remote works really well, it has a pretty far range and responds quickly when pressing the buttons, it also over rides your child if they start pressing the pedal or trying to steer which I really like because my son tries to take off in this thing.

He plays in it for a few hours before it starts to slow down any, and it charges quickly anyways so it doesn’t matter. It’s not great on hilly terrain, we noticed it works best on smooth asphalt rather than grass or large stone driveways like ours.

It goes pretty fast on carpet as well but tends to slip on our tile. Overall, this thing has been a great buy so far, my son loves it and sits in it to eat breakfast, watch tv, takes his toys on rides, he has a lot of fun with it! I should mention my 2 yr old is the size of a 4 year old so he probably has an easier time getting in and out and playing with this jeep in general than your average 2 year old would.

We’ve had the jeep for about a month now, since his 2nd birthday and have no complaints!.

I bought one of these for Christmas for my two kids, even though my youngest is too little for it now I am hoping she will like it when she is a little bit older. My oldest who is almost 2 years old (safety belt always used) absolutely loves it.

I like that it has the remote control, that was the deciding factor for my purchase. Although my oldest loves it, she is too young to actually drive it herself so we control it while walking with her.

Plays FM radio, which my wife and I thought was cool at least. And then finally, it actually has two seats. Like. there really is room for two kids. Most of the other ride ons / power wheels showed a two seat design but are only big enough for one child.

So this was a win all the way around for us so far.

I bought this car for my nephews first birthday and it was the perfect gift. I just have a couple problems with the overall details of the car: It rides very smoothly, though when you go to make turns it’s a bit choppy since you have to constantly reverse and drive forward just to make a simple turn around the corner.

The radio is far too loud and there doesn’t seem to be a way to lower the volume so if you plan on taking this outside make sure the volume on your cellular device is low, the charger lights green when it’s “charged” but there’s no percentage indicator to let you know how charged the car actually is, the speed calibrations for the controller are far too confusing so you might want to read the box instructions carefully before driving the car to make sure it doesn’t go too fast.

Also the instructions that come with the car on how to build it were also very confusing to follow so you’re better off watching the how-to video that amazon included with the pictures of the car. But aside from all of that my nephew seemed to enjoy it.

It is a precious little car. Bought it for our granddaughter for Christmas but have put it together. Has cute little bluetooth speakers. She is going to be very excited. The remote control will make it more usable until she figures out how to drive and control it.

have contacted seller several times. They need videos but only in a MP3 format. The car was gifted 4 hours away. Due to covid we have now picked it up and will be resuming the process of trying to get it working or replaced.

At this point I would give it zero stars. Not the same quality as ones we have bought for grands in the past. I will update as this process progresses and let you know if I change my mind and we can get it fixed for our granddaughter who misses riding in it.

Firstly, this does come in 2 boxes with a staggered delivery date. I know this after contacting the seller because we thought we were short 2 wheels lol. Very nice and quick response, fyi. But everything was there and packaged well and the instructions were pretty easy to read since I’m kind of an old hat at putting things together.

Might take a beginner a bit extra time then it did for me. The vehicle itself is a little beast. I don’t use the remote for anything since the boys are 3. 5 ft and around 45 lbs. Both of them not only fit easily into the seat together, but the jeep still trucks fast and over all types of terrain in our yard while hauling them both.

Grass, gravel, blacktop. this thing keeps going all over it. They’ve even taken it over the driveway curb multiple times at full speed and there hasn’t been any issue with the little tank. A full night’s charge will keep it going for an entire afternoon of on and off play.

The music is fun and can get fairly loud and the horn is obviously a favorite thing for the boys to play with. And I will say it’s not only sturdy, but has gone through the sprinkler pad and the sprinkler without any issue lol.

Really loved the remote control feature for our daughter as she learned to drive it on her own. The music that it plays is in Chinese with one song (If you are happy and you know it) in broken English.

The traction is more suited for concrete or asphalt than grass. However, we have had electrical issues and it completely stopped working less than 4 months of use – manufacturers warranty is only for 3 months.

Luckily we purchased the square trade 3 year protection and were able to get our money back. We have had much better luck with Peg Perego in regards to traction and longevity with our other child, so switching back to that brand – plus 2 year warranty!.

The car is super cool, but it’s cheaply made. The battery compartment in the hood wasn’t made level so we had to rig the battery it to fit against the power connection correctly so it did many wiggle off and cut the power at every bump.

The radio is cool but the volume doesn’t go very high and can’t be heard well over the loud car sound. The hood clasps don’t stay clasped and unbuckles itself at every bump. Most of the car seems made of a cheap plastic.

Was expecting a bit better quality for the price tag. The tires seem in good shape and it has a good amount of power with a long battery life. My son loves it overall and the seat belts do the trick (although also flimsy plastic so I don’t expect them to last long).

Also a little bummed that there is no trunk or cup holder space for toys or snacks but that’s my fault for not checking.

When we first purchased this I was a little Skeptical of the Price. But after 2 years I must say it was worth every penny, I was afraid it wouldn’t get a lot of use? well it did the two boy used it a lot learn to clean it and played with it constantly.

we have a very large yard over an acre. and to be honest it got a lot of use. It became more of a life saver with the virus as we were like a lot of others stuck at home. the Jeep I thought would sit around got used every day and if it rained they played with in the garage cleaning it.

The the best thing of all when Jeep had a problem and I called Customer Service and I would rate the best I have ever had with any company the rep’s were friendly and knew there Product and when out of there way to see we got our jeep running again, the parts were shipped the same day we called and came in 2 days and they followed up to make sure everything was ok.

Now that’s Customer service. we own 3 Mercedes Benz cars and they brag about there CS and they are nice but Moderno Kids SC was better Thank you.

My daughter is in love with this. I love that you can actually control it through a remote or let your kid take control. It has music and so many music options. It’s just beautiful and so realistic for a kid car.

This is absolutely worth it. I also want to add that I bought this months ahead of time for my daughter’s birthday and I reached out to the seller ahead of time to inquire about their guarantee and they were wonderful, I appreciate great service!! Then when we finally opened and assembled the gift it was in perfect condition with no issues!.

First of all this is the first review I’ve ever left not in favor of something. This item had a gear in the rear axle break the third time it was ever being used. We contacted the company right away.

They didn’t answer their phones and had a full voicemail box. After finding an email and getting ahold of them a different way we were finally able to speak with someone. We had to purchase a $40 replacement piece to fix the broken gear even though it was the third time it was ever being used! I would not recommend this item or anything else from this company! I’m surprised Target uses them.

The car came in a cheap cardboard beat up box. A part was missing (the axle sleeve/rear sleeve) that rendered the car useless. My son’s birthday is in 5 days and this was going to be the highlight of his presents.

Now completely ruined as shipments are delayed for several days if not weeks out. Highly disappointed as I called cust serv only to be told I would hear back in 24 hrs. That does nothing for us at this time.

It’s a HUGE 47 lb item so returning will also be a headache if it comes down to that. Very unhappy customer and soon to be 4 year old.

My kids are only 1 and 2 and half so I have to drive them. I Bluetooth my phone and play music for them, sometimes music for myself on walks. The remote control is awesome and the 3 speeds are great ! ! As bedtime nears and the cranky kicks in I put them in this and it easily gets me another 30 minutes.

I did immediately put a second 10ah battery in it so I can not attest to the standard run time but the dual battery easily goes twice around my block (just shy of a mile) and still for another 12 minutes or so in the back yard.

We got this model for the 2 seater and it easily fits my 2 and half year old and my neighbors 5 year old. Only bad thing. The steering radius is HORRIBLE ! ! On the back patio I have to make a few 5 – 6 point turns BUT we all love it as a whole !.

We got this for our kids for Christmas and so far it seems to work well! We’ve only used it once, though. It looks very nice and we like the safety features! The parental remote is great, and we love that you can play music! The little toy GPS is a nice added touch.

The turn radius is a bit wide, and it can be unwieldy for our son to turn on his own and also to turn with the remote, hence knocking off a star (though in all fairness, probably most have wide turn radiuses).

Kids love it, but it doesn’t stay charged, and if you don’t have a storage place for it, you have to buy the cover separately. My kids have had this for a year now, and there are no stickers on it. Even with a car cover, the car fills with water anytime it rains.

My husband has had to tighten wiring multiple times for the girls to ride more than 15 mins at a time. We are looking at upping the battery size.

Beware- you will continue to buy replacement parts over and over again. This jeep is fun and my daughter enjoys it. We have encountered several issues though since giving it to her last Christmas. The reverse had stopped working and the battery is going bad which is a little upsetting for the price tag.

I called and they told me that the control panel was bad and I needed to purchase a new one since it’s outisde of 12 month warranty which technically was last month. Note that we did not open it or assemble it until Christmas and this had stopped working about 2 months ago which is well under a year if use.

I was informed that this control panel is expected to wear out in about 1. 5-2 years. So plan to buy a new one ($30) each time, although ours lasted for about 8 months from the time it was used. Fast forward 9 months later, the remote controller stopped steering.

They recommended I buy a second remote. I did. I still have the same issue. They are now recommending another control box (again less than a year old!) Note we keep the jeep indoors and ride on a new blacktop (not grass or dirt/rough terrain).

The customer service representative says they will not refund the second remote and that “they are both the issue”. I personally think this is poor customer service and overall quality of the product.

The jeep is fun but I wouldn’t recommend supporting this company unless you are ok with buying several replacement parts to “guess and check” frequently after your initial purchase.

My kid says, “The car looks pretty and is very fast. ” From a parents perspective: Pros: – The parent remote is nice to have. It helps to get your kids attention by shutting it down so they’ll actually listen to you.

– Its easy to assemble. The trickiest thing for me was getting the seats installed. – The car is pretty quick. My daughter can get a little bit of drift going in high speed mode. We haven’t let her have access to drift mode yet.

She’s 4 and it’s her first ride on car. Cons: – The radio is difficult to operate. The AM/FM always starts at the lowest frequency and has to scan up. Good luck paying attention long enough to get it to stop on a frequency you want.

The Bluetooth is finiky as well. Sometimes you have to shut the car off and back on for it to go into that mode. The built in “stories” and “music” are garbage. Its like 8-bit Mary had a little lamb.

– The rear bumper had a broken clip where it wraps around to the rear driver’s side wheelwell. It’s not terrible but it’s broken. We may zip tie it like a true drift car!.

My daughter LOVES this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ! She’s still young and small so speed setting #1 is perfect for her but WOW this thing is pretty fast on DRIFT MODE setting #3. The battery life is great and the scissor doors are such a cool detail.

The headlights/taillights are a very cool feature too, this thing looks exactly like the real car. Just a heads up, this car is best utilized in an open space such as a basketball court, tennis court or cul-de-sac street.

It’s not very easy to control on a sidewalk with the remote control but I’m sure an older child would be able to steer and drive fine. We’re very happy with our purchase and we’re sure our baby will enjoy it for years to come!.

When we received the car, there was some damage to the rear trunk and spoiler. I sent pictures to the company, and within an hour, someone called me. I was surprised how quick I received a response. I was given 2 options, full refund or replacement of the car.

As my daughter was excited to ride her new toy, I opted for a replacement. We got to keep the current car and received the new body 10 days later. Great car and amazing service. That is the way to do business.

So I’ve just received a request for a review from outdoor toys, this couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. This is quite an expensive ride on car, but don’t let the price reassure you that it will be good quality, it isn’t.

After just 2 weeks the door has snapped clean off during normal operation of opening and closing and now the car can’t be used. I have made contact with outdoor toys and sadly there was no offer to resolve the issue, even though I have had the car for less than 30 days and therefore my consumer rights are at their greatest.

I’d avoid this car and avoid outdoor toys. Delivery also took ages, a couple of parts were missing from the box, which had seemingly been opened and resealed prior to delivery, and to top matters off outdoor toys are rather shy about answering the phone.

I’ll make contact with outdoor toys again and begin the process of a chargeback via my card issuer.
