20 Best Travel Strollers For Airplanes (2023 Updated)

I bought this stroller to have while flying solo with my 7 month old. Pros: stroller is super small and easy to transport. I still had to gate check it, but that was more the airlines decision than mine.

I bought the carry bag made for it, and when fully collapsed, it fits in the bag no problem. This stroller is also very lightweight and maneuverable. I’m 5’9”, and this stroller was tall enough for me to use without feeling hunched over.

The harness is also easy and quick to clasp. Cons: the sunshade on this thing is mostly useless. Doesn’t protect baby from sun at all. It’s only use for my was providing me with a place on which to clip my water bottle.

The cargo area is really small and kinda hard to get to when baby is in stroller. It can hold my phone and a toy at most. It’s also tricky to get it to collapse. Not enough that I will return it, just enough to be annoying when you’re already travel stressing.

Overall, I like how small and portable this stroller is. I will still use my big stroller for walks around outside, but this is a much easier option to have while air traveling.

This stroller has truly been a game changer for our family. We previously used an Uppababy Cruz as our primary stroller (which is an absolutely excellent model—no complaints). But the GB Pockit All-City has become our primary for everyday use, for a few reasons.

-It takes up so little space in a car trunk, and is so light that it can be carried (folded) if needed. -It folds and unfolds with ease. -It seems to be a pretty smooth ride for an ultra-compact. There are trade offs as well, though, but for our part they’re worth it: -Super compact means less storage space and less of a solid-feeling ride when pushing the stroller around.

(It’s not unstable, but pushing one-handed can be tricky, for example. ) …actually, that’s kind of the only drawback that really resonate for us. We take this stroller everywhere and absolutely love it.

Pros- folds small. Very small and I love that. Also very sleek and able to fit thru lots of aisles. Lightweight and easy to carry. Cons- Baby can easily get out of the harness once older. Baby literally can sit up because the harness just gets tight when you pull the straps at each end and gets loose quickly.

Another con- The area underneath to put stuff in is so so small. Can barely fit a purse. Also the sun canopy is pretty useless. It’s so high up that it really can’t and doesn’t protect the sun! And another con is that it looks very uncomfortable for the babies back.

It is at a weird position where it doesn’t change if the baby sleeps or wants to actually sit up. Imagine a position in between. Overall, nice sleek design. Gets job done as long as baby doesn’t climb out and is very easy to carry/open& close.

Sceptical but glad we took the plunge. The basket beneath is nice and roomy and the hood shades my little ones face when it’s sunny. You can tell it’s had lots of thought and design put behind it, even to the detail that the pushchair won’t tip up if there’s something on the handle bars.

The back pocket is also very useful for my phone and keys A couple of quibbles I had, was learning how to take it down and put up with a squirming one year old. And how the front wheels have to be straight to do so.

It isn’t exactly a one handed fold and is a little fiddly when you first use it, I had to watch a few YouTube videos to get the jist of how to make it easier on myself putting it up and down with ease.

But once you get used to how it works it is a very good stroller. Accessory wise, the Babyzen yoyo 2 doesn’t come with a rain cover, (I haven’t actually ordered one yet but I probably will) however the hood is claimed to have waterproof treatment.

It does come with a nice travel bag but we don’t really use this. You can buy many accessories for the Babyzen, which can rack up cost wise, but we’ll probably just get the buggy board for our eldest, along with a rain cover for when it’s needed.

We had a very expensive travel system before which was bulky but very reliable. we bought a cheap compact stroller to help save boot space on days out (which admittedly was easier to put up and down than the Babyzen, but was incredibly flimsy and wobbly) you do pay extra for the Babyzen but the quality behind it is noticeable in comparison to cheap alternatives.

Terrain wise, we live in the city, but we’ve taken it on woodland walks and across grassed areas with the dogs and it’s held up incredibly well. On flat even surfaces it really does feel very light and smooth and I quite often walk it one handed, which I haven’t been able to do with any other pushchair we’ve used.

Overall it is an incredibly stylish stroller, and if I knew about this pushchair when my first was born, we would have 100% bought a Babyzen yoyo with the added extras for a newborn.

So I debated over getting a yoyo2 for months!! Also contemplated between this, the joolz & the butterfly. Took the plunge at last and got this in the taupe colour. Mainly went with the yoyo as I preferred the design and the look the best.

I think it also has the most compact fold out the. Anyway the things I like: The colour, the basket, the zip pocket on the back was a winner for me, the size when folded and the carry handle is very comfy on the shoulder and weighs nothing! I like the newborn accessories you can get for it too which would be good if you go on to have another baby and want to purchase them! Things I don’t like: The seat doesn’t sit up enough in my opinion so baby is always slouched, the hood covers the face nicely but not enough protection from the sun on the rest of the body, could do with a larger/extendable hood, the fold does take some getting used to and mine seems to fling back open alot and I have hurt my finger a few times! The fact the add ones are all extras and not even included for the price like the raincover ect could at least come with it, one of my front wheels did start wobbling a lot on some tiled flooring in a shopping centre the second time I used it, the push is nice with one hand on flat surfaces but did struggle to even get across some stones/bumps! Don’t think it will work for me as a every day pram unfortunately! Is alot of money to just use for holidays.

Anyway on a whole that’s the reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars! I think it’s down to personal preference when it comes to prams! I have had alot of prams and have 3 children so I’m pretty fussy. It’s well made and does feel like it would last but I don’t think it lives up to the hype in my opinion and I did view them in shops first but I think you can only truly get a proper vibe after using a pram for a whole day out and about not just round a shop with nice flat flooring ect.

I bought this stroller to use it as my everyday main stroller, not just for travel (I live in NYC where most sidewalks are narrow and many places aren’t stroller friendly + wanted something that didn’t take much space in my apt).

I was a bit hesitant on the fact you can’t have your baby facing you with this model like some other brands, but got used to it. My brother has had it for a while and I was the one who brought it over to him as a carry-on inside a plane back then (they don’t sell this brand where he lives) – it was SO easy to fold and carry around that after that experience I was sold and told myself I’d get it if I had a baby one day.

This stroller is fab – light, hight quality and compact. I’m so happy I went with it; granted it’s been just a month of use but so far so good! I’ll update my review if something negative comes up. I took it to long walks through some rough sidewalks, inside stores and museums, on the subway and parks.

The wheels are pretty good and offer a super smooth ride considering how small they are. It’s probably not as good as other strollers with “off-road” type of wheels, but I personally think it’s great and enough for our needs.

The stroller is sturdy and well balanced; i’ve carried a heavier diaper bag hanging over the handles a few times and it never tilted back b/c of weight when baby wasn’t on it. Only downside is cost – it’s on the pricier side especially if you start adding accessories (I got the coffee cup, footmuff and leg rest; all worthy additions in my opinion).

Good thing is that you can find some pretty cool accessories and “hacks” Babyzen doesn’t make on Amazon for cheap like a handle bar for baby and a snack table; I bought a small clip-on mirror so I could see my baby and a rain cover that I’m using as protection for covid too when inside closed spaces that was 1/2 the price the original one.

This makes accessorizing the yoyo a bit more affordable. Lastly, opening and closing the stroller is a breeze, it only takes a couple times to learn it. If helpful to know, my baby is almost 6mo now and I starting using the yoyo when he turned 5 (key thing is to be sure your baby can support their head and lower the seat a bit to they’re almost laying down).

Oh speaking of the seat, one thing to note is that it doesn’t come down to lay completely flat but it’s been ok for us. I highly recommend the Yoyo and can’t wait to use it in my first trip with my baby!.

I was looking for a relatively compact, lightweight stroller that was easy to push around city streets with a heavy toddler in it. I initially didn’t like several features of this stroller: it’s not as easy to open and close as the videos on this site lead you to believe (I had to YouTube other techniques, which seems kind of ridiculous), the brake is on the basket and is easily blocked by any diaper bag you may have in there, and the canopy hits the handlebar when the former is pushed all the way back and the latter is at the lowest setting.

The “newborn nest” feature also means that if you have an inquisitive toddler like mine, they will reach down and pull the footrest all the way up and swing their legs to either side of it, and it’s super annoying to have to push the two side buttons on the footrest to get it to come back down again (and again, and again.

). I contacted Ergobaby about a return, and when I found out that the shipping cost to return the stroller cross-country was $80, I decided to take it for a real test drive before decided whether to keep it or sell it.

Boy am I glad I did. The suspension on this is a dream, and the stroller is super sturdy while still being light and compact. It’s now t everyday stroller, despite the initial annoyances. (My toddler has forgotten about the footrest, thankfully.

) On the next design iteration, it would be great if the flaws in the canopy/handlebar and the brake position could be addressed, but otherwise, this is a very good stroller.

I’m obsessed with this stroller!! I wish I had bought this stroller right off the bat. It took some practice, but it’s so easy to fold and unfold with one hand. It’s so light weight! I live on the second floor of my apartment building with no elevator so I can easily carry it up and down the stairs with one hand and baby in the other.

I took this on the airplane and it fit in the overhead bin no problem. I flew for the first time by myself with my 9 month old and it was such a breeze. I also got the carrying case for the stroller and I don’t feel like it was necessary since I put it in the overhead bin rather than gate checked it.

The bag was an extra step to pack and unpack it when getting off the plane that made it hard to do with a baby in hand. The stroller is so compact but still has a nice basket underneath. My diaper bag could fit with a little push.

The handle is really comfortable and you can tell it’s quality. The canopy is really big and shades baby well. It doesn’t quite cover the legs but I was able to put a cover over and recline the back to give my baby a nap in the airport before the flight.

My only con is that the canopy is the canopy is not the best quality. The material is nice and the window is great but it’s snaps loud when you open it rather than a smooth glide that other strollers have.

It doesn’t bug me enough to effect a 5 star review though. Overall I’m super obsessed with this stroller. I went with this one over others that I researched because of the slim compact when folded, the large canopy, and the one handed fold.

I would recommend this to everyone. Can’t wait to try this at Disneyland in a few weeks!.

I did a ton of research before purchasing this stroller and was very excited to receive it. Upon opening the stroller I noticed that 1. it was not easy to open with one hand and I struggle to open it in general with two hands.

2. The sunshade has a VERY loud clicking noise when you open and close it, plus it opens unevenly. apparently, so you can have one side a notch farther than the other for sun? This is something that would definitely wake my son if he was sleeping or trying to fall asleep.

3. It does not always stand on its own and has fallen over more times than I could place it ‘just so’ and it stood for a few seconds on its own. The stroller is very compact and pretty lightweight which I like, and it seems like the seat is padded and comfortable.

When I contacted customer service about this, I had to go through multiple emails, send 4+ videos, and ultimately was told “this is just how the stroller is”. While the actual customer service person I was emailing with was nice, I’m still stuck with a stroller I’m unhappy with and Ergobaby is not interested in sending a replacement or allowing me to return the stroller without extra hassle.

Just be aware of this before you purchase this stroller (or any of their other products) and are in the same boat. Pretty disappointing.

Stellar Product Test Panel provided me this product as part of a testing pane. The design of the stroller was quite the surprise. Initially the sleek looking design looked like it was going to be quite fragile.

However I felt that after a few spins around the pool on our recent vacation, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with quite a few features. First and foremost the initially fragile looking design ended up being one of our favorite things of the stroller.

Not bulky looking and not a lot of pieces to get in the way. The compactness of the stroller allowed for very easy maneuverability in tight spaces. Maneuverability was the item that I appreciated the most out of the stroller, but I the same attributes that allow that to be the case, probably caused one of my biggest complaints about the stroller.

The design of the seat was, again, sleek and just in line with my expectations of a stroller of this kind. The footrest and the basket underneath left a little to be desired. The footrest appeared a little flimsy, and with kids who will always be testing the limits of things I’m worried it wont hold up regarding wear and tear.

The basket underneath is a little difficult to get to, and isn’t much by way of storage ability. Sunshade was very appropriate coverage. Folding the stroller was like a dream, the ease of collapse and the tight space in which it collapsed was a very to impressive.

It also folded up in a way that would allow you to move with one hand if necessary. A lot of other options would not have the ability to be lifted and stowed with one hand. HOWEVER, unfolding the stroller felt unnatural.

A little extra stress on the forearms for the angle required to most efficiently unfold the stroller. Stroller was great for moving and shaking on vacation, both making tight moves around the pool and restaurants.

However anywhere there may have been a vertical grade difference (uneven sidewalk) the smaller wheels would make it slightly more difficult to execute the transition from one level to the next. Bigger wheels would allow a stroller to traverse bigger height disparities on the ground more easily.

An item that I think could be improved on this stroller. Regular road/path/inside movement was great, but there was still quite the disruption in the ride if running over a rough patch, or a medium sized (or bigger) rock.

While the maneuverability was the best thing about the stroller it also lead to some unevenness with extra pressure on the handle bar. Having multiple children they’re always getting themselves in the middle of where you are and what you are trying to do.

So them getting inbetween me or my wife and the handbar was a common occurence, and then the next step would be for my 40 lbs son to hang a little on the handle bar. I think the smaller wheel base that makes the stroller so versatile side to side, also made it more easily upset from downward pressure on the handlebar.

A small concern when having very young children in the stroller. Overall, the stroller was sleek and design and a lot of the design aspects were spot on, a few decent complaints that keep it from getting 5 stars.

I purchased this product for my second baby and I have really been impressed. I already owned the baby jogger summit jogging stroller but wanted an everyday use stroller that wouldn’t take up space. I considered the Doona but couldn’t justify the price for something that would maybe be able to be used a year.

This stroller is perfect! It is a trifold so it folds super small and is easy to maneuver in small spaces and stores. It will also be able to be used for years as my child grows. The car seat is great also.

I love how you don’t have to feed the straps as baby grows. You just adjust the strap height with a simple click. It also has great head support and my baby always seems very comfortable.

We have enjoyed the carseat, it has felt safe and secure. Beyond that, the frame of the stroller has scratched very easy. Often times when I attempt to fold up the stroller, the wheels will get caught and prevent from latching.

The brake for the stroller has become less reliable over time and takes more effort. My mother has arthritis and struggles to move the carrying handle on the carseat. For the price of the product, we are disappointed with the overall quality of materials and reliability.

I wish we would have used it more before the return period so we would have learned how we did not like it.

I got a BOB stroller when my baby was born, since it’s extremely big, and super heavy I really don’t take it anywhere unless my husband is with me to help with loading and unloading and opening and closing it back up.

I opted for this one vs the mini gt because I was sold on it being compact, and being able to fold it with one hand. Well it is compact which is about the only thing I like! I’m unable to close it with one hand, and the seat doesn’t have much padding on the seat for my baby so I can’t imagine it being comfortable to sit on for longer periods of times.

I think I’m just going to return and maybe for the baby zen yoyo stroller might have more padding on it for my baby.

First off, let me just give you a little background information. I have a 7 month old who is pushing 25 pounds (94th percentile) and is a picky napper. I bought this because my other stroller is way to cumbersome and I had some really tight layovers and wanted to get in and out as fast we could without waiting at the gate for my stroller.

Here are the things I absolutely loved about the stroller: 1) It 100% fits with ease above the overhead bin. 2) It can fit in the isle of the airplane as well. Which really saved my back. You can literally stroll your baby to the seat.

3) If choose the black one it creates the perfect dark environment for naps. I actually bought the fancy one and loved it (eclipse version). 4) If you need to take the bumper bar off because the Overhead-bin is full, there is a pocket in the cover to hold it.

The video doesn’t mention that. 5) For small babies, if you reach underneath the seat there is a cover that comes up over their feet and legs and snaps on the sides of the stroller creating a very cozy and secure feel.

The video doesn’t mention that either. 6) It absolutely feels sturdy and does not collapse as other reviews have said. However, I will say the videos do not do a good job teaching you how to properly open it.

You have to push the red button between the bottom back wheels all the way down with your foot until you hear a click and see a green checkmark. Here is the big key that a lot of people I think might miss…you must go on each side of the stroller and lock both sides in order for it not to collapse.

You will hear clicks as you do each side. Overall, the only real con would be the price I guess. My opinion is you can’t put a price on comfort and ease, so if you have the budget I would highly recommend it.

I also really loved the design of the eclipse model. It looks super fancy for a travel stroller.

Excellent customer service! I needed the stroller before a specific date and with the original express shipping I purchased it was barely making it but with processing time it wouldn’tve made it. I decided to call in to see if it was possible to have it shipped with a quicker method and Jessica helped me out.

She was able to get the stroller shipped overnight for me (at extra charge of course but that’s understandable) and made sure I received the stroller as soon as possible. She contacted the shipping company and did what she could to get the stroller to me quickly.

I spoke with her on the phone on Monday and already received my stroller midday today (Tuesday). She kept checking in with me and updating me on my order throughout the whole process and was a pleasure to work with.

Before purchasing a travel stroller we looked at the bugaboo ant (very nice and compact but quality doesn’t seem too great, would not last long, feels like it would break easily, and the seat is small).

We also looked at the yoyo which becomes like a handbag but we didn’t like the way it looked. I’m very impressed with the jet, it feels sturdy and love that it works for newborns up to toddlers. It has an easy fold and unfold, and the car seat I have ( Nuna pipa rx) which I forgot to order adapters for, fits pretty well on the stroller even without them.

Overall very satisfied with the stroller and especially the service I received. Thank you silver cross!.

We bought this stroller in late summer 2019 for an autumn birth. We had big travel plans for 2020, but then the pandemic put all of that on hold. So the stroller ended up getting minimal use—just a trip across the country in Jan 2020 and then very few short relatively local excursions.

Very little use overall. In under two and a half years, during a trip, it basically crumpled under itself: the front wheel collapsed under itself. The back framework somehow is bent (it was never checked baggage; it was never shoved or crunched into a restricted space).

Our hopes of using it for either our young toddler or with an adaptor for our infant’s car seat have likewise been dashed. It’s neither sturdy nor safe. Tremendous, expensive disappointment. At that price point, get a Yoyo.

Bought this stroller in April 2021. And in August of this year, he already broke down. To start with, the seat belts are terrible, very difficult to lock and unlock. Bought for travel, never been in checked baggage, never shoved or crunched in a confined space).

When I open the stroller, it gets stuck all the time. I have a hard time closing it, I almost feel like the whole stroller is out of order. The stroller is used for our little toddler. The stroller is not strong and not safe.

Huge, expensive disappointment. At this price point, take the Yoyo. Save time and money and buy something else. I wrote to Silver Cross but I haven’t received a response yet.

I’ve been using this as my secondary stroller for about two months. Purchased for an upcoming vacation where I would be traveling without my pack mule—I mean husband. I was able to manage it one-handed through airport security, the canopy was large and sturdy enough for me to balance my infant car seat across it as I pushed through the airport, and the basket underneath was large enough to hold my Chicco Quickseat.

Couldn’t have been happier with the way it allowed me to tote all my gear to the gate solo while still folding up pretty small! My only complaints about this stroller are minor and manageable, but just annoying enough to keep my review a 4-star.

First, as so many others have said this stroller just does not stay folded and latched well. My biggest issue is the foot rest pops out again and again for not apparent reason. Also, if you grab it by it’s handle (the place your hand with go by instinct every time) instead of the tiny intended carry “handle” (a bit of strap on the seat of the stroller) it immediately begins to open.

The design of the straps is a bit fiddly, as you have to line up a small groove to get it all snapped together. This was ok for me once I got used to it, but made it impossible for those who were not familiar with the stroller to buckle her in, especially grandparents with poor eyesight! My last complaint is that the crotch strap always looks terribly uncomfortable on my kid, she slides to one side and ends up with it looking like it’s cutting into her thigh, but she’s never indicated that she’s actually uncomfortable.

Overall this is a great option if you’re looking for a smaller secondary or travel stroller but don’t expect the perfection you will get with a full-sized stroller or top of the line travel stroller.

That thing had seen a lot of miles and truthfully it was worn down and while it still had a lot of life in it, there were some features I didn’t like about it. Primarily it was big, bulky, heavy, and it didn’t steer well.

Getting this stroller was a breath of fresh air, truthfully. The stroller is like, almost weightless. It’s super lightweight which makes it easy to get it in and out of my SUV. I take the stroller with me almost everywhere because my daughter, like any two year old, is boiling over with energy.

It makes it difficult to do simple things like visit the vet or the post office or get a hair cut without having some way to contain and entertain her for just a hot minute. It folds up nicely and the included storage bag is a nice touch, it’s an easy way to tuck it away and not have it roll away or stolen by mischievous toddlers! This stroller steers beautifully! It was easy to control, even with one hand.

It listens and cooperates, which I was worried about because that was a big problem I had with my other graco click stroller. It doesn’t click, clack, whirr or thud like my other stroller did, and even when jogging or walking briskly, you’re not going to have any trouble with it.

My husband is 6’3″ and found this stroller comfortable to use, just as I did at 5’3″ which is a huge bonus! This stroller comes together in literally minutes. It’s so easy to put together that my two year old did it for me once I showed her where to put the wheels.

It took me longer to unbox it than it did to put it together. It does have a very chemical smell right out of the box but that dissipates very quickly and I think it’s from the dye used on the fabric, so it’s pretty harmless factory smells, haha.

It seems to be comfortable, my daughter is pretty picky about strollers and has sometimes complained about our other stroller, but she doesn’t make a peep in this one. She loves the little kick-out foot rest that lets her lie with her feet out.

She likes it so much that she even put her pillow in it and lies in it to watch videos with her favorite blanket. On to the things that I didn’t like or I was rather indifferent on: The handle is rather uncomfortable, I liked the rubberized grip but it was just something about the angle of the handle itself that made it uncomfortable.

The flat spot in the middle is claimed by the lever mechanism that allows you to fold up the stroller, so you either have to deal with uncomfortable grips or comfortable grip with an additional lever.

There’s nowhere to put anything. You have the small bin at the bottom under the seat, which is great, but you have nowhere for a bottle of water or powerade while you’re out running. There’s even a cheeky little message on the back of the canopy to not dangle or hang anything on the stroller! This is because they offer to sell you the drink holder as an attachment, which I feel is very money grabbing.

I like the idea of being able to customize a stroller to the things I need or want, but at the very least, give me somewhere or something to put my keys in while I am out jogging, and I need a place for a water bottle! I could put both in the bin at the bottom, but that requires me to stop to fetch my drink and if I’m in the groove, that’s a bit silly.

The harness is a bit flimsey and the shoulder straps are a bit hard to connect with the waist straps. It kind of feels like Graco was trying to reinvent the wheel here, as they have this channel you’re supposed to slide the clips into one another to make a whole piece and then click it into the button mechanism.

I preferred the type that slide into one another, where a tab goes through an open box sort of clip. While on the topic of the harness, the button mechanism to undo the harness, well, my kid figured that out in 0.

002 seconds. I can’t tell you how many times I had to stop to buckle her back in. It’s a giant round button that releases the harness with minimal amounts of pressure, the only way it could have been worse was if it was painted red with “Press Me!” on it.

Sometimes the mechanism feels like it jams and you’ve got to fight it to get one of the two clips out of it. It’s finnicky and I think it could have been designed a lot better. I do like how it matches the overall aesthetic, and is pretty slick and sleek looking.

Overall, I think it’s a great stroller with room for improvement, but a lot of my issues were personal preferences if anything else.

I bought this stroller specifically for air travel. After purchasing the stroller I saw in a few reviews online that airlines do not accept the stroller to be stowed overhead on the plane. I have two children, one 16 months and the other 5 years, waiting at the gate for the airline crew to bring my stroller was not fun and I would usually have to wait till everyone got off the plane.

I took the stroller with me for international travel and I am pleased to say that the airline had no problem with me taking the stroller on board and it fit perfectly in the overhead. This stroller is great for travel, easy to open, light, moves with ease and easily stowed.

We mainly needed a stroller fit for our international air travel but as an on the go mom on the in the city, the Mountain Buggy exceeded my limits for a stroller that was small and multifunctional. The Nano has really been a lifesaver that folds small enough to bring on the plane and placed in the overhead bin.

Traveling solo with the kids could have never been so easier after discovering the Nano. Normally if we take connection flights, we won’t receive our stroll until we reach the end of our destination.

This means when connecting to over the next flight we will be stroller less while connecting! Just imagine being stuck carrying an 18-pound infant and a carryon bag while trying to catch your next flight! It’s one of the most stressful experiences to have while traveling with kids soo! Another great feature for me as a mom is that it’s lightweight and not a bulky stroller like the one we use to travel with.

I used to spend so much time trying to break down my two piece heavy stroller getting into taxis and boarding the plane. Thanks to the Nano It only requires a light touch with two hands to fold this bad boy! Not only do I love the Nano for myself needs while on the go but the recline on the Nano makes me feel at ease while on the go with my infant son and ensuring that he’s comfortable wheater I’m running around doing earrings or exploring a new city! the Nano also has a shaded cover to keep the sun or weathering out of babies face.

We purchased this stroller specifically for traveling. As most parents know, you almost need a vacation after packing for the vacation itself. What we love about this stroller: It is lightweight, compact, and folds up in a matter of seconds.

We are able to keep our daughter in it while navigating through airport security, and then at the last minute, can pull her out and fold up the stroller in seconds without holding up the line. The back rest is adjustable.

We purchased an infant car seat insert so that we could begin using this at 3 months. Our daughter has always comfortably sat in it and we are able to adjust the back low enough so that she can lay down and nap.

Our Nuna Pipa infant car seat worked perfectly with the stroller without needing any additional attachments. It glides smoothly! Would highly recommend! I searched and reviewed so many compact strollers before making this purchase.

This stroller has actually replaced our Nuna Mixx Stroller as it is so much more convenient and easier to navigate through all sorts of places, the zoo, mall, etc. As we are expecting baby number 2, I am so excited to check out the double stroller by Mountain Buggy!.

I absolutely love this stroller, but for people wanting to take onboard a plane, there is a big but! I have been waiting to write this review until after we’d had a pleasure of a Ryanair flight to help others make an informed decision as I searched and searched and found nothing to indicate the suitability of actually taking the Butterfly onboard on a plane, so here is my experience: With Ryanair, you can’t.

I also have a Babyzen Yoyo and the no-go to taking this on board a plane is the only negative of this pram. It does fold much larger than the Babyzen Yoyo, it also feels much heavier and having done a lot of research, I only found one airline who accepts this as hand luggage based on the dimensions and that’s EasyJet.

British Airways, Ryanair, Emirates, Qatar, KLM, AirFrance and many others all have cabin allowances which are smaller than the folded dimensions of the Butterfly. As our Butterfly was put in the hold before boarding, I really wish a travel bag had been provided to prevent scratches as is the case with the Babyzen Yoyo and also the comparable Joolz Aer.

But appart from the travel element, I absolutely adore this stroller, so I will still give it 5* – it’s compact, super easy to fold and unfold, has a decent amount of storage space, a superb sun canopy, reclines OK, handles well and, most importantly, my (tall) 18-month-old boy is very comfortable in it.

I also have a Bugaboo Fox2 (which I haven’t even used since getting the Butterfly) and the parasol and cupholder are compatible between these models, so haven’t had to invest in extras. I did buy the bumper bar separately for Butterfly and I’m glad I did as it does add extra comfort for my little boy and the pram can still fold with it attached it kind of works as an extra carrier handle, but it does increase the overall folding size a little bit.

As mentioned, I also have a Babyzen Yoyo and whilst I was to replace it with the Butterfly, I will keep both and the Yoyo will remain my “air travel stroller” as it’s definitely more suitable for this purpose than the Butterfly.

Sadly though, as the Butterfly is in my opinion far superior in every other way and, as long as you don’t need it to go in the overhead compartment of a plane, it really is a lovely pram. Much better for tall children! I’d highly recommend it.

Before this buggy i had a yoyo2 apart from the looks i hated it everything about it, I hated the fold, i hated the way it moved, it felt like i cant turn corners with a bit of speed as the whole pram tilts, or the wheels cannot handle any speed faster than a slow/normal pace of walking.

Anyway then i saw all the videos for the Bugaboo Butterfly and i was sold! I can literally use the buggy one handed form the fold to laying the seat back to even pushing it! The seat recline also is genius unlike the yoyo it’s literally like a draw string and then you clip.

One handed! Also the seat sits more upright! Which is a massive bonus for me as my daughter hated the position of the yoyo’s seat… the seat itself is also taller so my tallish toddler doesn’t look squashed in it.

massive basket underneath which is always handy! One of my reasons for delaying the ordering of this pram was the front wheels are about a inch smaller than the other brands and I thought well if that one shakes at the tiniest bit if speed whats this one going to do… however the day i took it out happened to be the day we was running late for work/nursery and spent my whole journey jogging there on and off and nothing.

no shaking, no rattling it just kept on driving very smoothly. Overall i will recommend this to everyone it is made very sturdy and alot more convenient and cheaper and comes with the two vital accessories then other brands.

We use the butterfly as our main buggy, we only have a small car boot and currently not a lot of space for a full size buggy at home. The Butterfly feels lovely to push, steers very well compared to my old trusty maclaren.

My little one sleeps really well in the Butterfly, and seems happy to be put in it. It folds up neatly and pretty easy to carry as you have the footrest or the strap to grab hold of. The recline is simple although not a full lie flat, it does seem to still be comfy.

The wheels are small but mighty, surprisingly they are pretty good over grass, lovely and smooth over new tarmac, bit bumpy and noisy over old tarmac. But that’s just a sacrifice for having a neat buggy that doesn’t take up a load of space.

The raincover is fantastic, very simple to set up and looks really good quality. Overall for my circumstances I think this buggy is great.

I’m honestly not as impressed as I expected to be with this stroller. There are some amazing features such as the lightweight, easy folding (when it works), easy maneuvering, and leather handle bar. However, and especially given the price tag, I was disappointed by some issues I’ve had with this stroller.

We used it for 8 months when the brake function stopped engaging properly, which is so very dangerous. And the front wheel began to stay locked in one position which makes it difficult to steer. As mentioned above, the folding function also doesn’t always fold down easily, I’ve had to use both hands and push down using my body weight to get it to fold enough to fit back in my car trunk at least a few times.

While the UppaBaby company has been great with resolving these issues, I still feel like you all should know that these issues happened to me and I wish they didn’t because it’s not safe nor convenient to deal with.

I would still recommend this stroller to those looking for a super lightweight stroller that doesn’t have many other features. It’s easy to travel with but not always practical for moms who want more storage space or want to reverse the seat so they can look at their baby.

I do believe there might be better strollers for the price.

I was not planning to buy this stroller. I was like NO WAY am I spending that much on a stroller. The thing is we needed one now and for some reason our local store had barely any strollers. This was basically it in the compact type.

I am so glad we got it!!! 1st I drive an Acadia and have 4 kids with NO trunk space. This folds up like a briefcase and I put it behind the driver’s seat where the baby car seat is. It fits perfectly!!!! It has a strap to carry it.

It glides very smoothly with little effort! I’ve never pushed it across rocky terrain. I did get the tan which I’m not crazy about because of stains but it was cheaper and we got a discount for floor model.

It has a great sunshade and you can lay all the way back. It’s also easy to open and close with 1 hand. Mine doesn’t have the little piece on the side that keeps the stroller folded up. It doesn’t change anything for me.

Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money, your child is almost certain to outgrow it way before they turn 3 year old. Furthermore the closing mechanism catches and it’s not possible to collapse it with one hand like they claim it is.

While it says very publicly that it’s for children up to 50lbs, they hide the hight limit. If I’m spending that much on a stroller I expect to use it till my child is at least 4 years old. All they would need to do is extend the length of the strap that goes between the legs, but they don’t even offer a solution when you ask their customer service about it.

Instead they reply saying it’s “normal”… good luck to those who buy it.

Pros: -super duper compact, -lightweight, -easy to fold, -suspension on front wheels make a super smooth ride, -leg rest to prop up the leggies, -decent sized basket underneath. -comes with car seat adapter -big sun visor Cons: -weird back rest makes my baby slouch all the time.

-the straps are hard to adjust, Overall: I’m super happy with this stroller. it fits in my sedan very well with tons of room whereas my full size stroller took up my entire trunk. Super smooth ride and easy to pop open.

It’s perfect for super petite moms like myself. The only I don’t like is the way my baby sits in it she slouches so bad and I don’t know how to fix it. I think it’s the split in the backrest to help with the campactness.

I’ve been using this stroller for 7 months, so I think I can give a fair review. Here are some pros and cons I’ve found! Pros: -It’s comfortable! Not only is the seat well padded, the seat actually sits upright when not reclined so your infant or toddler doesn’t have to lean their head forward to look around.

My son actually takes his best naps in the stroller. It doesn’t recline flat, so I just placed a rolled blanket or jacket under his knees to make it a bit more comfortable for him. No complaints. -It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap despite being so lightweight.

-The basket is not mesh, so things stay dry and clean. Cons: -The basket is actually a decent size. However, there’s a curved part of the frame under the seat that gets in the way of using the basket to it’s full potential.

Because this piece curves downward, only narrow bags will fit in the basket. I’m not sure if it’s necessary for it to curve or if it’s decorative, but there’s no way to turn it sideways because it’s welded in place.

-The buttons to fold the stroller always “stick. ” I can still fold with one hand, but it takes a few attempts to get the buttons to click. That could just be my stroller in particular though. This is my only stroller, and I literally use it everyday! I also own the carry cot and car seat adapters, which were both well loved.

I’m excited there’s now a rider board for it, so I anticipate I may never need another stroller! It’s great, I love it.

This pram is a total game changer for us. We bought it to use for travel abroad, after having a difficult experience travelling with our Uppababy Vista(which we also love). We were looking for something that would fit in the overhead bins, and be versatile for some pretty tough use on Mexican unpaved streets.

First of all, it fit in all overhead bins, small planes, large planes. it did it all. Secondly, we literally took this thing on unpaved paths in Chichen Itza and cobbled streets of Merida, running between planes in Dallas.

I don’t know what we would have done without this pram. Best purchase ever. Easy to use, well made, and looks great too. I prefer it to the Babyzen yoyo2 which was the other model that we were considering.

The one hand fold is what sets it apart. When juggling diaper bags, purses, toddler, the one hand fold is a life saver. An added bonus to this pram, my child is so comfortable in it! I think she prefers this pram to the Vista, and had zero problem falling asleep in it on multiple occasions(she never falls asleep in the Vista and actively protests getting in it).

If you are considering the Jooz Aer. you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been looking for an ultra-compact stroller that would work for both the newborn carseat days and the older baby/toddler years. The snap-and-go we initially have been using has gotten too beat up from going through baggage claim and is a pain because it’s so un-foldable.

The Aer has been great for us since we got it a few days ago. My favorite features are the elasticized carrying strap, the tall handle bar (my husband and I are 6’3 and 5’9 so it’s appreciated), the ease of folding, and the fact that the carseat clips (purchased separately) don’t have to be removed in order to fold the stroller.

That is a game changer! I haven’t gotten the chance to do air travel with it yet but I look forward to putting it in an overhead bin, and also appreciate that it came with an airplane bag that will work for flying on smaller planes that require a gate-check.

If you’re on the fence about this stroller, go for it! I know it will serve our family for years to come, especially if/when we get the roller board addition when more kids come along.
