I have purchased several of the Easy Spirit mules in the past few years. Most recently I purchased this both this shoe and the Romy butterfly mule. Both Easy Spirit, both size 10W and both from feelgoodstore.
However there is a very marked difference in the size for these 2 styles. Romy is slightly larger than my foot and the Traveltime Slip on Sneaker is slightly smaller. The difference is so much that I can barely wear the Traveltime even without socks while the Romy shoes are slightly big even with socks.
I intend to use a shoe stretcher on the Traveltime shoes so I can actually wear them. Going up to siz 11W may be a better answer. I would still purchase more of both the shoes, as they are well made and cute.
but be aware, the sizes between shoes can vary greatly.
This shoe is AMAZING! I sometimes have swelling or pain in my ankles and the fit is so perfect for it! It allows for extra room and freedom in just the right places. I ended up going with the white color, as they didn’t have the color I wanted in my size at the time.
I was worried about white – however I’ve had them two weeks, wear them EVERYWHERE, and haven’t had a problem! Even if I did – I feel they would be easy to clean. The best thing about them is that they are SO stylish, they go with everything! I can wear them with jeans, wide or slender leg pants, activewear like sweats, cute skirts, etc.
It’s fun to mix and match them up! Thanks for carrying these, Nordstrom!! <3.
I’ve worn these shoes for many many years now but I find the sizing has changed drastically. A wide ‘W’ is no long a wide but more like a ‘M’. I bought two pair at the same time to replace older worn out ones and one is a bit wider but still not as wide as my other mules.
The other pair actually hurt my feet to squeeze into them. Just wondered if anyone else has found this to be a problem. Most of these reviews were written too many years ago. The pair that doesn’t fit well came with none of the usual ‘new’ wrappings–shoe insert or plastic bag wrapped– so I believe it is a ‘returned’ item.
Breathable mesh flexible travel shoe with padded collar and elastic lace. Abrasion-resistant toe cap. Flexible sole. EVA insole keeps feet comfortable and odor-free. Lightweight EVA midsole with rubber inserts for traction.
I ordered these from the Walking Co. I love the red, it’s perfect and matches my personality. not to mention great looking. These shoes are light weight. I think the bungee laces make it super easy to adjust to the most comfortable fit.
You can wear them tighter, or adjust to be able to slip into. They are made with a mesh top with makes them breathable, and the padded collar offers a comfortable fit. I wear and ordered a size 8 1/2 and my toe sits at the start of the toe strip.
I think next time I will order a 9 just too see which I like best. They offer width sizes up to XW in this shoe which is hard to come by. I ordered an 8 1/2, N My shoes were delivered in 3 days. I do recommend them.
They come in 5 colors. I am buying the black next. They are great for casual walking around.
I bought these for work, and my feet end up sore after an 8-9 hour shift. For a walking shoe I expected more. There’s a little support but not much cushion or comfort. The tightening mechanism always ends up coming loose too, but I love that I can slip them on and off and don’t have to tie them.
They are really easy to tighten too, but the string started to fray after only a few months. Overall the shoes are okay – not bad but not great. I did have higher expectations. They fit true to size but are roomy.
I have a hard time finding shoes. I used to wear a wide and now it seems that I need extra-wide. Propet is one on the only brands to sell extra-wide. I bought these in 9 1/2 ww (I have always been 9 1/2) and ended up having to exchange for 9 ww.
There is no sole in these shoes. I cannot wear these shoes to walk for long periods of times due to no cushion being in the shoe. If you are mostly sitting all day, these may work ok. If you do lots of walking or standing, forget about it with these shoes.
I took a chance with these shoes, and it did not pay off.

I bought these in the Black Sparkle on a whim, and I have to say that they are exreeeeeemely comfortable! They are soft to my skin, no rubbing, and they are light weight yet thick enough to keep my feet warm in the cool a/c of florida.
They look classy & sporty — definitely not too “older lady looking” for me. I’ve been waring them around the house instead of house slippers ever since they arrived, as wll as running errands in them — which speaks volumes as to their comfort.
——-> NOTE: I ordered 1/2 size up from my usual sneaker size, so my heels would not be right at the edge, and the fit is Perfect. I recommend that you do the same. These are keepers!!.

This website is awesome. Propet is a mega comfortable shoe. I have nerve damage in my feet and love these shoes. I ordered many pairs (wasn’t sure about my size), so I was going to have to return more than I kept.
Believe it or not I ordered 20 pairs and kept 4. This was not a problem for this company. They refunded me the exact prices without even a hiccup. Will definitely order again from this Co. If you don’t know what width will fit you best, I recommend starting with the widest and working your way down.
I got my regular shoe size and these fit fine although I couldn’t wear a sock with them. For that reason I would call these a warm weather sneaker. I put them on and wore them around the house (all hardwood floors) and they were very comfortable.
Having said that, I don’t think I would want to tour Europe with them. The padding is okay for running errands, but I wouldn’t want to do serious walking with them. I think they are very attractive.

A simple design and handcrafted features make this a unique walking shoe. A premium leather upper, soft lining, padded tongue and removable footbed add extra comfort. Laces slide easily for even tension across the instep.
My feet pronate very badly and I was down at the New Balance store getting walking shoes with a roll bar and I told the man I also needed some dress shoes in flats so I could dance. He knew immediately what might work and came back with these Traveler shoes in my size 11N.
They were the only style he had and they fit me perfectly so I bought them. I wear orthotics in all my shoes and my orthotic did fit into this shoe. The shoe is really well made and very attractive to look at and the leather is soft and it is so comfortable.
The shape of the sole and the bottom of the shoe at the arch makes me think it was designed by a yacht maker because it has a unique shape that reminds me of boats I’ve seen. The shoe is undercut just on the one side, and I knew when I saw it that it was not a good supportive shape for me.
However, I have worn it out once a week for a couple of years and I dance in them as the sole is not rubber but something that will allow you to sort of slide on the dance floor if you want. You don’t slip or anything like that but they allow you to move – they are wonderful.
Now today I’m online looking for a shoe like that but without the undercut because I’m not feeling the support I need personally from a shoe. I’ll still wear them but I want something else to wear that might allow pronating feet to dance better.
But for a woman with normal feet I’d recommend this beautiful shoe to wear anywhere to any event.
First, this shoe is absolutely beautiful and looks like the fine leather shoe you can wear in comfort daily as well as go out in the evening without missing a step or stopping to change shoes. It’s well constructed throughout which is one of the hallmarks of SAS shoes.
Before retiring as an RN, I used to purchase 6 pairs of my favorite SAS work shoes at a time. Unfortunately, this style didn’t work for me because of the problem I’ve developed with the joints in my big toes – not enough clearance on top for the arthritic changes.
I had been looking for the one shoe that I could travel with, sightsee during the day and use the same shoe for evening events. I reluctantly returned them when I realized it wouldn’t work with my problem.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this shoe to anyone without my problem. My husband is already on his 3rd pair of SAS shoes, loves them and wears them daily!.
My first pair of SAS Traveler shoes lasted for 10 years before I know had to replace them due to sole wear. The leather uppers are still in good shape. These shoes were worn a lot and the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.
I have this same shoe in brown and cream. I just replaced my black pair after 10 years of very frequent wearings. I would recommend these shoes to any woman. They are more comfortable than any athletic shoe l have owned.
They look great with dressy slacks or casual jeans. I was pleased to see that the style and construction was the same as the pair I was replacing. An excellent shoe. Thank you, SAS, for making shoes that fit my feet and feel so good.
The CHICANE is our incredibly popular, leading trail shoe that fits more feet, out of the box. The innovative, asymmetrical tongue shape of the CHICANE follows the curve of each instep allowing it to adapt to even more foot shapes.
In addition, the gusseted tongue allows the CHICANE to keep out debris. It’s no wonder the CHICANE won the 2011 About. com Reader’s Choice Award for best trail shoe. The CHICANE keeps you on the trail and out of the first aid kit.
Like a glove. Stepping into nature is how many of us recharge. There’s cool, fresh air and bright, beautiful foliage, but it’s not always the casual stroll that gets you there. The CHICANE is the perfect shoe for traveling and light hiking because it’s designed to match the natural curves of your feet – both inside and outside – so you can go wherever the trail takes you while feeling the natural comfort that keeps you on the trail day after day.
Reasons you’ll love the CHICANE: Better Fit -proprietary asymmetric tongue design follows the top-line of the foot for a better, more adjustable fit. Durable – stability and abrasion resistance. Protection from the Elements.
Fully gusseted tongue keeps debris, water and dust out of your shoes. Secure Laces – Kribs Lacing System wraps the webbing around the foot for a sock-like fit. Amazingly Comfortable – anatomical KURUSole midsole chassis with orthotic HeelKradl support.
Breathable – moisture wicking liners. Good Grip – high-grade, rubber cupsole. Outsole construction offers large lugs for excellent traction and long life (non-marking). Nature’s Cushioning – orthotic.
HeelKradl’ in footbed cups your heel as nature intended. Designed & Developed in the USA.
I bought the Chicane size 8 one month ago. I had called the company before ordering to ask about the high arch as I read that you have to break them in as the arch might be uncomfortable. My feet are very sensitive to any high arched shoe, but I took a chance.
I can say that these shoes did not bother my arch at all, and I do not feel that they have a high arch if anyone is concerned about that. Prior to the purchase, I have had heal soreness I suspect from outside barn/yard shoes I regularly wear with no support.
I went ahead and wore these shoe in my house during the day for the past several weeks. I do not feel like I had to break them in. However, I cannot say that they helped my feet at all. In fact my Skecher D’Lites with memory foam work better on my feet than the Kuru Chicane.
I was hoping that these would make my feet feel better but for me they do not offer any extra support than regular Skecher shoes. I decided to keep the shoes but would not buy them again. I have since bought another pair of Skecher D’Lites.
The shoe fits true to size with all of my other tennis/workout shoes. I stated that the width was true to size as I am medium/regular width and they did not feel like wide shoes. However they are more open in the foot, and I prefer a more snug fit.
I bought these for walking the dog after blowing out my arch walking in snow boots all winter. No other hiking shoes were comfortable. I have problems with plantar fasciitis and my fifth metatarsal. These shoes feel supportive and definitely help with plantar fasciitis.
The metatarsal is another story, and these don’t help with that at all. I have to be careful to land my foot straight forward or slightly inward to avoid pain there. The ice blue color and the sparkles make these look juvenile, but since I got them for walking the dog I don’t care.
It was hard to wait for the break-in period, but I could tell they were squishy and needed time to adapt to my foot. plenty of width. I like the sideways lacing – seems to take pressure off the outside of the foot.
Since about 6 months ago, I was desperate to find a shoe that, at the end of the day, my feet weren’t killing me. I tried multiple high-end shoes, each promising “happy-feel-good” feet, but to no avail! I friend suggested Kuru’s, saying she now owns 4 pair, and she’ll never own any other shoe-brand again.
So I started with woman’s Quantum size 8 wide. I’ve got arthritis in both feet, multiple hammer toes, diabetes. Once they arrived, onto my feet they went, and OMG!!! NO PAIN at end of my day!!!! Having suffered foot pain for so long, then suddenly NONE, my feet felt as if they’d gone to heaven (well, almost!).
I now own 3 pairs of Kuru’s, and my husband has purchased a pair of men’s Quantum wide, and he swears these are the best shoes he’s ever worn, too! Thank you to the creators of these fantastic shoes!!!!.
The Munro Traveler (perfectly named) is awesome for when a sneaker just won’t work. Made in black stretch fabric with matching heel cover. Perfect for walking or traveling. When you need a tailored shoe, this is the one for you.
It is on the exclusive Munro Tech Sole, shock absorbent, flexible, slip resistant on a light weight wedge heel. Heel height is approximately 1 inch.
I’ve never been able to wear slip-on flats because of my SS/4A width. These shoes fit perfectly! They’re very comfortable and versatile and the width is a definite SS/4A! I bought the black pair first, then the navy.
I tried in vain to order the taupe since they became available, but the 9. 5SS is always sold out. I’m pretty hard on my shoes, but Munros last for years and look brand new always. It’s the only shoe brand that truly fits my very narrow feet.
This is my second pair of Munro Travelers. I wear them exclusively with black or navy slacks, and the understated design gives a sleek appearance to the pant and shoe silhouette, in other words, a long visual line from waist to shoe.
This is not your flashy, look at my feet shoe. They do not look “clunky” on the foot, yet they can definitely be considered a Comfort Shoe. I purchase a size that I can wear with trouser socks as I find this more comfortable for all day wear.
Do be aware that this shoe is constructed with a metal shank which might cause you to trigger an alarm during airport security as happened to me once. My first pair of Travelers is now about 4 years old and they still look excellent without discoloration or excessive wear despite being worn frequently.
I wear my Travelers (two different colors) more than any other shoes. The fit is reliable, the shoes are comfortable and easy on my feet. I have learned that most “bargains” in my size (my width is 4A/Super Slim) are not good for my feet.
Munro has been very reliable for providing value for the money.
Lightweight, Flexible, Traction Shoes Propet TravelActiv shoes provide lightweight and flexible comfort with mesh uppers for all day, all night walking. Cushioned insole provides impact resistance. In 6 fun colors and priced to buy more than 1! Sneaker with self-color speed lacing.
This is my 2nd pair of Propet TravelActive Axial. I needed a light color and after having tried another style went back to Axial. The comfort is good although I think the insole could be slightly more padded.
The shoe is very light weight and that is important for me. The construction of the sole is more knobby then I would prefer although after wearing the first pair for 6 months it doesn’t seem to collect and disburse dirt.
The lace eyelets surrounded by metal so relacing or tightening up the laces is good. There is adequate padding around the ankle. Now to size–I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 narrow. These are 8 1/2 and none too long.
I would say this style runs skimpy in length. The narrow is not super narrow. I do like that these are shipped directly from the distributor so you tend to get a new pair that hasn’t been tried on dozens of times.
Some extended-size shoes are supportive but stiff; these shoes, instead, lack support but don’t pressure my feet in any way. I love how light they are and how soft they feel. I especially love the stretchy fabric upper, which readily accommodates all my weird toe joints — bunion, bunionette, incipient hammer toes.
Because the shoe is so lightweight, it doesn’t exert any extra pressure on the tops of my feet. The marshmallow soles are flexible and feel soft. This shoe only got four stars, however, because it basically provides zero support.
If you want arch support, you’ll need to provide your own insoles (there’s plenty of room. ) Also only four stars because it’s a little cheap-looking, and I suspect it will not last very well. But if you want a shoe that babies your toes, this is it.
I walk several miles a day and I am constantly in search of good, comfortable wide walking shoes. I’ve had some good luck with Propet in the past, so I thought I would try these. I will say that they are comfortable for day-to-day wear, doing normal activities.
They are attractive on my foot, i. e. , they look like a normal width. However, they are not “walking” shoes. If you’re going to use them to “go for walks,” save your money. And speaking of money, they are not a bargain at QVC pricing.
After finding them to be very uncomfortable for walks, I searched the internet to see if others had the same reaction. While searching I also saw prices offered by other vendors. They are available at cheaper prices in several places.
The price at QVC is the same as Nordstrom, and since this was not a free S&H offer, you can see where I’m heading with this. Very disappointed.
Breathable mesh flexible travel shoe with padded collar and elastic lace. Abrasion-resistant toe cap. Flexible sole. EVA insole keeps feet comfortable and odor-free. Lightweight EVA midsole with rubber inserts for traction.

Made for walking and light activity, the Travelport works overtime so you don’t have to. The easy-on, easy-off shoe features an orthotic-friendly, removable sock liner and a footbed with superior arch support that absorbs shock for extra comfort.

Normally I have a problem getting any shoes to be narrow enough, especially slippers. But these are perfectly narrow for my foot. They seemed a little bit shorter than most 8s I have gotten from easy spirit but I’ve worn them for a while now and they stretched out a little bit and are very supportive.
I do want to order another pair but I don’t know if I should go up a half size or not and then have them slip off my feet. But I really love wearing them. Another reviewer said the inner sole did not come out to make room for her orthotics.
This is false. The liner does come out but it leaves a very uncomfortable surface so if you’re putting an orthotic in on top of it that would be fine. The slipper is very warm. So be prepared for that.
My feet sometimes sweat in them. They really feel like shoes, that’s how thick the sole is. I would have given it five stars if not for the slightly smaller sizing than I’m used to from easy spirit. Highly recommend.
These shoes look good and well make. The 4 stars are because they very snug, my normal size is 9W, but they are a little snug I kept them because my feet swell sometimes. I am 72 and heavy I am not so sure footed sometimes and would hate to fall.
These shoes have good balance, with rubber soles and so far, seem to be slip proof. My experience is based on only 2 days wear around the house and in my 2-acre yard around 5400 steps both days. But I like to give my 2 cents because I use reviews to help me.
Not sure if I suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger if your feet swell in the afternoon a little. My feet have not hurt wearing them so maybe they are supposed to fit snug.
This line has been my “indoor” shoe for as long as I can remember. With the ease of a slip on and thus a quick change when I walk in the door to my home, this line has never let me down. I can’t count how many pairs I’ve owned over the years.
I was very pleased when these arrived. Exactly as pictured. Size and fit were consistent with what I’ve come to expect. So helpful when ordering on line. The fabric and color are pleasing and lend a slight summery, dockside quality to the shoe.
I like the added rope detail. When at home, I tend to spend a lot of time on my feet, and these shoes provide the support and comfort I need, with the ease and styling of a slip on.
Light and breathable footwear for easy traveling and moving in and out of the city, even on hot days. Made with knitted upper without lining for maximum breathability with welded protection. VIBRAMThe VIBRAM Cruise sole is the perfect everyday travel and adventure sole.
Move from pavement to walking trails with easy and comfort.
I love these shoes! There is no break-in time; they fit great right out of the box! Super lightweight and breathable. Perfect for light hikes and wearing around town. I have a tendency to walk on the outsides of my soles and these correct my alignment and are SOOOO comfortable.
Most comfortable shoe I own. Like the light weight for everyday wear, and Vibram sole on steep slippery paths. Size 10.5 is difficult to find, and a perfect fit for me. This is my 3rd pair!
2nd pair of Aku so far and I don’t think I’ll goto another brand. The quality, fit, feel, is exceptional. I have not worn a better shoe, hiking boot, work boot.
There are certain types of shoes that are better suited for travel than others. Comfortable, versatile, and durable shoes are always a good choice for any trip, but if you’re planning on doing a lot of walking, sightseeing, or hiking, you’ll want to make sure your shoes can stand up to the rigors of travel.
A good pair of walking shoes or hiking boots is a must for any trip to Europe, and if you’re planning on doing any serious sightseeing, you might want to consider a pair of comfortable, supportive sneakers as well.
Whatever shoes you choose, make sure they’re comfortable and versatile enough to handle anything your trip might throw at you.
