20 Best Travel Outfits For Planes (2023 Updated)

Tried the 6 and 7 wt, both very nice rods but the 6 wt suited my usage better. I was looking for a rod that could double as my practice rod for the FFI Casting Instructor’s certification. Needed a rod that was pin-point accurate in close and still able to hit a target at 75 ft.

Not a lot of rods can do both well. This one can! Very similar action to the Scott Centric but manged to save $400 with the Sonic which makes me happy. Stillwater was great in returning the 7 wt Sonic I tested and making this transaction easy.

I recently purchased a Sage X 590-4 rod from Tom’s and the process from go to whoa was genuinely well expedited. The company is terrific to deal with – especially their handling of phone orders. I’m a returning customer having previously bought a couple of pairs of waders, boots and bits of miscellaneous fly fishing kit.

So, that wasn’t a surprise. The Sage X is a marvellous rod and didn’t disappoint on its initiation at Bronte Lagoon in January. Great piece of kit and looking forward to many years of using it.

I have to admit, I was skeptical. I’ve made a life of taking less so I can do more. An invite to walk the Via Francigena from Florence to Rome meant I needed clothes for walking 10-20 miles, plus nice clothes for eating out at 4-star restaurants at night.

I folded up three nice collared shirts in this, and it worked great.

I just used this for the first time on a 3 week trip through Italy and France. It is amazing. Keeps everything wrinkle free and organized. Packing was a breeze too with this handy folder. Now I am going to get one for the “dirty” items as I loved how organized my suitcase was.

This product is a gift so I haven’t opened the package but I have observed that the website says it holds seven shirts and the package says four small shirts.

Loving the shirt. True to size, has a comfy fit and the fabric is light and durable. The only thing I didn’t expect was the narrow collar. I wear glasses, and had to take the glasses off to get the shirt off and on.

Or maybe I’ve just got a big head, but I’ve been called worse things over the years. Thanks CP, I appreciate the swag.

It’s great – versatile, perfect for spring fall (it’s good till about 47 degrees for me, then I need something heavier), and perfect for cold planes.

My first one I got in 2017 and it lasted 5 years and is still great, but is getting a *little* worn.

This is a great bomber jacket. It is really warm. It is perfect for your cold weather and it is stylish at same time. I really like the color of this jacket and plus the quality is just great. Easy to wash, no special restrictions.

Lovely jacket with pockets and travel features. Unfortunately, fit is a problem. I wear a 10-12, but ordered a large, as I knew the jacket runs small. It runs very small indeed. It was tight in the arms in a way I can’t describe.

If I never lifted my arms or reached forward, it would have been a perfect fit.

Bought these initially because every thing I have purchased from Legends has been a homer run (Enzo Tees and Luka/Relay shorts). I was expecting them to be a very casual, lounge type pant but they do it all.

I wear them lounging around the house, coaching my kids soccer games, going to a MLS game or even casual dates with my wife. Super comfy, tech pant type material that give them the stretch you need in any situation.

Bought 1 pair last fall and then 2 more this year, love them!.

These joggers are better than I expected. I planned on only wearing them for casual events, but the style and fit were perfect for more athletic events like a golf outing. Great joggers. Plenty of great color options, great length and fit.

Highly recommend.

These are the GOAT of joggers. First pair (M) didn’t fit right so I exchanged them for a Small, and before the return for back to Legends I already had my new pair. Fit is amazing. As a shorter guy (5’8) with athletic/built legs these fit amazingly, and the 28” inseam is great.

Quality, fit, material, color all A+.

And this time, it’s the Long Knit Travelers Jacket in brown (cocoa bean to be exact). I did not buy this jacket to wear to any special event or occasion. I bought it simply because I like wearing the Travelers Classic Jackets and Cardigans, and my BODY likes wearing them too! Now, thanks to Chico’s, I can wear the Classic Travelers in BROWN! Need I say more? You know the Travelers Line, and it is looking great in this Cocoa Bean brown.

I paired it with the matching Travelers pants in tall and the orange spice tank. It looks great! Can’t wait to wear it this Fall! It looks most impressive with Chico’s emerald green print tank, or the turquoise tank and necklace.

Ladies, you’ll pair it with so much more. Get it now, because this lovely Travelers brown won’t be around very long. You can thank Chico’s and me later. LOL.

I’ve been waiting for a simple, longer Travelers jacket in black. This one is perfect! The lines are elongated and smooth, and the jacket is unstructured. The sleeves are 3/4 length. In short, it can look great dressed up or down.

It works with straight leg pants, slim leg pants or the Travelers Hutton pants. I love this collection for travel. It takes up very little luggage space. The pieces can literally be rolled up in a ball and emerge looking perfect.

This is a home run Chico’s. Would love same in India ink.

This dress is beautiful, sexy and somehow appropriate for so many different occasions depending on how you accessorize. I am 5’8 180lbs and curvy for reference. I bought the XL and it is still a little roomy, but I wouldn’t size down.

It’s wonderful.

I was a little worried that the cross-over front of the dress would be too revealing, and would require a brooch or something to hold it together. However when I put it on, it transformed into the most lovely fit ever.

There’s no need to pin a brooch anywhere, and the wrap design flatters the mid-riff area. The fabric is soft and stretchy, and the pattern subtle and sophisticated. I love that it is not over-the knee either – that makes dresses look so matronly.

I will definitely have the marine dress as a staple wardrobe item for many years. I highly recommend this dress.

This dress is not only flattering and good for travel. It’s elegant enough to wear on regular bases also for evening outings. Just add heels and fancy necklace . I really like it.

I bought the black City Slick Jacket and I’m very pleased with it. I will have to wait until spring to wear it though. The style is classy and versatile, it can be dressed down or dressed up. It is not fully fleece lined as I was expecting but that is not a deal breaker.

The fit is impeccable! That’s one of many things I can count on with Anatomie clothing! My one suggestion is to have gunmetal snaps under the front placket so it stays closed and the zipper is not visible.

While I believe there are many positive attributes to this jacket, there are somethings which could be better. First putting a large pocket on the inside of the coat that can hold an iphone is critical.

Second, it needs a detachable hood. Third, the collar should close all the way up your neck to avoid drafts. I hope the design team considers these comments and makes some changes.

When I first saw this jacket, I really liked the fit and looks of it. I was anxious about getting the right size after reading some of the reviews. Someone said the jacket fit tight in the chest but the next size up was too big.

I’m small boned and petite, but I have a broad chest. I checked the sizing chart and the small size has a 38 chest, and I was sure it wouldn’t be too tight. It fit like a glove everywhere except it was a little bit snug in the chest.

I decided to order a medium. Wow! It didn’t even look like the same jacket on me. I decided to keep the small. One last note: customer service has been very helpful and friendly. I would definitely order from them again.

I took these pants and an entire wardrobe of Anatomie new purchases to England for 2 weeks – they were all amazing! I am a frequent traveler and like to carry on rather than check luggage. I was able to pack enough clothes for day and night occasions in my carry on and they did not wrinkle and the pants didn’t bag after a few wears.

In addition, I changed locations 4 times, which meant packing and unpacking and all of my Anatomie clothes looked great the whole time – I’m planning to buy more winter outfits for my next trip to England in November for another 2 weeks! Love them all!.

The one problem with the travel pants is…if you are short the pants are way to long with zippers at the ankles. Having them shortened which I did is an extra expense Making a version for 5’4 and under would be great S.

I wore these out for lunch with the girls and felt super sexy. But these pants are also comfy enough to sleep in or pair with your fav hoodie to lounge around. I was concerned about the high waist (not usually a fan) but its not too high.

Love the pockets and zips so I’m happy with my splurge purchase.

Yep- this is a keeper! Talk about versatile! I love zippers as adornment so this fits in my style. Fabric falls very nicely & cap sleeves are just right amount of coverage to disguise some icky areas on my arms.

Good investment for my closet. Listened to the reviews and order a size down.

First off the sizing. I wear a medium or large in the pants, yet needed a small in this. I am 5’4″ 140 pounds, 32DD, so be aware runs large for this line. The dress is perfect for what I need it for.

I plan on using it as a dress for more formal dinners on my upcoming trip, and bonus, unzip the sides with some leggings and I have a nice tunic. I can also see this working double duty in other upcoming planned trips.

As always, the fabric is great, I expect to be able to rinse and dry in a day.

The Executive Traditional Fit Blazer is a good quality jacket. The color, fit, materials and construction are very good. My only complaint is that the shoulders are too padded. Like 1950s padded. Not “natural” shoulders as I’ve come to expect in a better quality jacket.

Natural shoulders have been the norm for 50+ years. Disappointed. So, I dinged it 1-star. I’ve decided to keep it because I live on Maui and there isn’t much to choose from out here. The sale price was good.

I’m 5’11 160 30 waist, bought a 38R and it fit me like a glove. Only needed to taylor the back because I like it very snug when bottoned up. Even the sleeve lengths were exact right out of the box. The material and style is very current and resembles a Hugo Boss I purchased at Nordstrom at a much higher price.

By comparison this is a steal. The material is relatively thick and stays sharp and not frumpy even after a day of wearing it. The only thing i don’t like is the pocket is fake so you can’t wear pocket squares.

Other than that would recommend this sportcoat.

I so wanted to love this jacket, especially since it was on sale and I used a reward and a coupon on it. The India Ink color on the jacket showed as more black than navy maybe because of the sheen. There was a lot of beige in the floral pattern which I was not expecting.

and some brighter blue in the pattern as well. Look closely at the photo to see the colors. There is also a brighter blue lining. The shoulders seemed a bit wider than normal and the general fit was boxy.

Although the fabric was definitely unwrinkled right out of the package I did not care for the feel which seemed stiff. Others appeared to like it so perhaps it is just my personal preferences that caused me to return it.

I took a chance that the colors in this jacket were exactly what my sister and I had seen in the store. It looked different in the picture online, but I bought it for her as an early birthday gift and she was thrilled.

The gold is just the color that we had seen in the store along with the beautiful navy and royal blue colors. Blue and gold are our high school colors and she is going to her reunion soon. Thanks, Chico.

I loved the fabric. not see through in the ivory coast. I loved everything except the sizing. it runs VERY LARGE under the arms. It looked like I had wings under my arms with all the extra fabric. unwearable.

I ordered a small (my usual size in BP) and I am 5’7″, 133 lbs and a 34DD. I will reorder in a xs as I really want this top to wear with both jeans and palazzo pants. Great top but size was more like a medium or possibly larger.

Maybe it was mismarked. I measured the small laying flat pit to pit and it was 19″ (38″ actual).

Nice wastcoat & good fit, very happy with it. Wasn’t really sure if I needed a wastcoat with the suit, but can now confirm the answer is yes as it really completes the look.

This is a wonderful dress! The fabric is a buttery soft, medium weight that will span the seasons, and it drapes very nicely instead of just being a straight sack. The style is great because you can dress it down with flats or sneakers, or dress it up with tall boots and a scarf around the neck.

Love it, and can’t wait to take it on my next trip!.

I purchased both the tinsel and black. Both are lovely, and can be worn for casual and date night. I especially like the tinsel. I looks terrific with black leggings and a scarf. Plus the fabric is easy care too.

I bought this dress in two colors and two different sizes! I bought the black in a larger size for a looser fit and wearing to be comfy and lounging in. I bought the light purple in a more fitted size to wear for going out.

It’s very comfy and surprisingly flattering in the more fitted size.

I purchased this outfit from Blair, and I could not be happier with it. It is stylish and super comfortable. It drapes beautifully – no unsightly clinginess. And it washes well. By far, it is my favorite outfit, and I wish it was available in other colors.

After some sizing trial and error (I’m an XL in the Skyler and Susan, an M in the Andrea, and an L in the Peggy-thank you, Anatomie for your wonderful customer service and quick exchange turnaround!) I’ve found my second-favorite Anatomie pants alongside the beloved Andrea.

Zippered pockets, which are useful keeping your wallet secure when napping on planes. Dries in a snap after washing in the sink. Folds down extra small. Lovely seaming creates a nice long line and can be dressed up or down.

Perfect ankle length looks great with sandals or heels. Only thing keeping me from buying a second pair is that I’m attempting to Kondo my wardrobe.

I own the Kate and Thea pants but the Peggy are my new favorite! The legs are not tight so they skim over my thighs and calves. The way the Peggy pants are constructed make my stomach appear thinner because they do not “hug” that area.

I am an apple shape, 5 feet tall, 135 pounds, and ordered these in a Medium. They are perfect with the bottoms cuffed a few times. I highly recommend them for every day use and for travelling because they hold their shape in the legs and butt area even at Day 3 when you don’t have access or time to wash them right away.

Love the lightness of this fabric, love the fit, love the packability- though given the fit and lightness of the fabric- do feel I have to wear with a longer top, since they do show every unflattering detail in back (underwear lines, god forbid- cellulite)- so some back patch pockets would help.

This style fits me better than Thea (which was too high waisted, in spite of a mid-rise description). These are high enough to move with ease- not constraining. Great ankle length- at 5’2″- I don’t have to hem them.
