Impressed with all my Yeti products, so I was a little disappointed with this 30 oz mug. It took a while to get used to it but after learning how to drink from it (does anyone find it hard to believe that I had to learn to drink from a mug!?!), I use it regularly from waking to sleeping.

It keeps my ice water cold all day – I refill it three to four times a day. The stronghold lid is exactly that (so far) – strong. It is advertised not to be leakproof, but my experience has been that it IS leakproof.

When I accidentally knock it over, and the magslider is closed, my drinks have not spilled at all. I learned that the secret is not to overfill it! There has to be some space between the lid and the ice for the lid to seal properly.

And most importantly, the liquid inside cannot be overfilled, lest the lid touches the liquid before the lid is screwed on. When the lid is screwed on and moves into place, the volume of liquid displaced by the lid apparently moves into the threads between the lid and mug and when you take a drink, allows the liquid to migrate thru the threads, between the lid and mug, around your lower lip, down your chin and onto your shirt, as so many have complained.

My experience has been that after that volume of liquid has been absorbed by your shirt, the leakage stops. Another common complaint is the slow flow of the drink passing thru the lid. I agree with this complaint, but I have not experienced any leakage when turning the mug upside-down to try to increase the flow of my drink.

My only “success” in increasing the drink flow has been to drink normally and touch my upper lip to the magslider so that the liquid passing thru the opening seems to flow faster – but maybe that’s just my imagination.

Nevertheless I am impressed with this mug and will continue to use (and not abuse) it! I also like that the shape of the mug fits into my car’s cupholders so I can easily reach it and put it back.

This was a gift from my husband for Christmas 2021. I love the personalization and the fact that that it keeps my drinks hot or cold, as long as I need it too. With that being said, I’d like to point out something I hate about it too.

First, if you have big hand like me, this is a three finger handle not four and takes some getting used to. Then, there is the hole where you drink from which you can only sip from, no gulps. I take coffee to work in this, I work 10 hours, if I don’t completely disassemble this lid to rinse thoroughly before it waits the rest of the day to get home,it’s slimey and nasty.

I have to take all the seals off to rinse or there is slime in the threads by the end of the day. Also the removable seal I didn’t realize was removable(bottom piece of the magnetic flipper) until I was trying to clean build-up from the crack between the rubber and plastic and the seal slipped over the corner exposing a sheet of gross old coffee that had gotten caught in between.

And what’s with that little space inside just under the drink hole, I have to use a toothbrush to get all the buildup out of there. I’m not talking about letting it sit for days or weeks, I’m talking about every day I have to remove all rubber seals and clean extensively.

So make sure to stay near clean running water or you’ll only be able to use it one day. I own two of these cups and both lids are the same, I wish yeti would replace them, just horrible design. Considering going back to my cheap Walmart cup because there are no hidden spots to catch buildup without noticing and I could get a decent size drink quickly without waiting for it to dribble out.

I’ve been using Yeti ramblers for years. I was really excited to see a rambler finally made with a handle. I have the handle attachment for my other ramblers but find it a pain to remove for washing.

And over years of use they[re stretching out and will need to be replaced. I made the mistake of not removing the handle attachment on my first yeti and it has a nasty ring not quite rust but it’s stained and doesn’t look good.

So when this came out I didn’t hesitate to get it. I was surprised when I got it that it was noticeably taller than my other ramblers. It is also heavier. When I went to wash it before using it I was surprised by the lid redesign and it twisting off and the mouth piece being multiple pieces.

My first time using this rambler I was disappointed in how little liquid actually came out while drinking. The redesign of the mouth piece allow for very little liquid to come through. When you’re thirsty that is a huge con.

But my other disappointment was I’m the handle. With the cup being bigger and heavier the size and shape of the handle to me is not comfortable. The handle attachment is more ergonomically shaped and is easier/more comfortable to pick up and hold.

I will say that the one plus on the lid redesign is I do feel that it is more leak proof than the previous one. I also think that it might keep my drinks cold longer than the previous design. While I appreciate that it has more leak proof I will go back and by the original style rambler and handle attachment.

I’ve had this tumbler for 16 months. Keeps hot drinks hot longer than any others I’ve used. It really keeps the cold drinks COLD! Still have ice after many hours. The 30 oz. size is perfect for those who are too busy to refill and just go without.

When I bought there was only one logo and color. Now there’s so many designs to choose from, I’ll just have to buy more. Would make a great gift too!.

Pretty nice tumbler, I’m pretty happy with it so far. Does what it says for sure, the only downside for me (which really is just cosmetic) the lettering is not as pictured, its super small. The words and flag are about 3x smaller than shown in the images.

Anyway, I would like to reiterate that I am pleased with my purchase, its just cosmetic, not really a big deal to me. Love this company and the Holsters they produce as I have 2 already and atleast 3 more getting ordered soon so thank you WTP!.

The tumbler was a gift for a friend in Md. that is volunteering in Hagerstown at the “People’s Convoy”. Her drive is about 2 hrs. one way. I thought this would be perfect for the drive to keep her coffee hot and her cold drinks cold.

She just loves it and it is top quality. And the logo ties right in with the message of the Convoy “We the People “.

I love these contingo autoseal bottles and travel mugs. But I just wanted to alert you to a problem my father had with a similar contingo autoseal water bottle. He had been continuously filling the bottles and not airing the cap and the cap was full of mould.

This is common to all water bottles and is easily solved by taking the lid off and airing it overnight to refill the next morning. Run it through the dishwasher regularly (on the top rack). Fill it with a mixture of vinegar and hot water and leave that overnight on occasion (probably once a week would be ideal).

If you have a fully stainless steel one stick it through the dishwasher at the same time as the top, but if yours is coloured, hand wash it in soapy water. Do this regularly – as often as possible – as mould is no good for anybody.

While the problem is no doubt more prevalent with water bottles than coffee flasks, it could potentially be a problem for people who take the coffee flask to work and leave it sitting on the desk all day without rinsing it and then leaving the cap off for it to totally dry.

But on the bright side, the autoseal drinking spout on these bottles is amazing. When you’re ready to drink, press the button so the silicon seal inside releases and an ample supply of liquid will pour into your mouth.

You can regulate the flow by how far you press the autoseal button in. I love these coffee flasks and they will keep your coffee warm, but don’t expect it to keep your coffee boiling hot. They will gradually lose heat over time and if you start drinking your coffee or tea two or three hours after you feel that you will notice that it’s not as warm as you may like.

You can extend the time it will stay hot by filling the flask with hot water and pouring it back into your kettle and if you then immediately fill the flask with your coffee, it will stay much hotter for longer.

But please note it will never stay hot for as long as a properly insulated thermos, but I properly insulated thermos does not have the benefit of the autoseal cap. It is a trade off and for me the benefit of the autoseal cap, far outways the downside.

To be honest, most people will be using this to drink either immediately or in the next half hour on the commute to work and it’s really not going to be a problem. When I have wanted to keep my coffee warm for an extended period I store it in my thermos flask and transfer it to this bottle for drinking – easy!.

I think this is a very good product in that it truly has a very good fan layout that really keeps my laptop cool. This is my fourth product like this over the last 10 years and this is the best. It seems well built and easily supports my 16 inch laptop.

It also has some nice colors on the sides that can be changed to different colors and patterns which is only a novelty but it does make the product more interesting and since the buttons for controlling the lighting and the fan speeds is in front, making changes is super easy.

I have only had this for a few weeks, but so far it is excellent and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their laptop truly cool and is tired of other cooling pads that are poorly made and do not have the power to really move the fans where they cool your laptop.

I mostly keep the fans on 4 which is actually two less than the max fan speed and it really does a great job. When I put it on 5 or Max air it gets so cold that I am cold using my laptop. If this cooling pad would just last a year or more with no failures, I would never buy anything else but the Topmate C11.

Also the fans are very quite considering the quality of air speed. The only thing I will mention is this is the most expensive pad I have bought so far and although I hesitated at first to spend this much on a unit that was not perfect since it is was missing the usb cable, I am happy I went for it since it works really well and I had the needed usb cable from my last cooling pad.

This is a great purchase and I’m very happy with it for my commute to work. I keep it in my bag to and from my car and the lock on the lid ensures there are no spillages whatsoever. There are no signs of leaks as well.

I’d say the drink retains most of its heat up to about 4/5 hours. It is still warm after this but gradually cools. A couple of small things could be improved. The metallic inside gives a slight taste to the drink.

I would imagine some kind of coating would remedy this. I’m hoping that after considerable use this will become less apparent. Also, the coloured travel mugs are not dishwasher safe. When I purchased this, there was no option to buy the stainless steel-coloured mug with no colour.

This one is apparently the only one that can safely be put in the dishwasher. The others may lose their colour. If this doesn’t bother you though then it shouldn’t be a problem.

Pros: Robust. Good looking. Simple to use. Keeps drinks hot or cold for couple of hours. Non slip and cheaper than many others that in my view are not worth the money. Also I have had one of these for over 5 years and it still works well and looks good.

Recommend it. Cons: Nothing much. Initially the flip off latch is a bit stiff to push off but eventually it loosens up and if it was too loose, it would not be as safe as it is. Actually this is nit picking it works well, say no more.

I love the design and the functionality of this travel mug. It is also sold at a very decent price for how long it lasts. It keeps your tea (or coffee, etc. ) hot for hours. The flip-top mouth piece is very easy to use and it also comes with a pop-out stirrer to stir your favourite drinks with on-the-go.

The bottom gripper holds your drink securely in place whatever you set it on and the gripper in the middle of the mug is non-slip for sipping while you walk. I will probably continue buying these mugs, although, due to its excellent quality and durability, one or two should last a lifetime.

Bought some of these for Christmas gifts. One for my son and one for my son’s fiancé. They love to drink coffee out of it. They said it keeps the coffee hot, and it fits perfectly in their vehicle cup holders.

Given reviews on the contrary, I wasn’t expecting this mug to keep my drink cool. Will give it a temperature test later to see how well it fares given this surprise. The lid is, as mentioned, not spill-proof, though it’d definitely take longer to make the same mess as an open mug spill on the floor.

The closure function audibly clicks into place, which can offer assurance unless you find the clicking annoying with every opening and closing of the sip opening. I’d love to see a screw-on spill-proof lid with sip function similar to one already in the lineup for their water bottles and coffee flasks.

The handle is the one real complaint. Not ergonomic whether for large hands or small. Ouch. Enough so for me to consider whether to try something else instead in expanding my Hydro Flash collection. The weight can also be considered a negative, but that’s the tradeoff for the insulation.

If Hydro Flask comes out with a lightweight version similar to the lightweight water bottles, I’ll be first in line to replace this as I did my primary Hydro Flask water bottle.

First off, overall I enjoy this mug. I am a coffee fiend and having it within reach while working is a must. The size is great, and the insulation works well. It keeps my coffee at a good temperature for as long as I need.

Usually it’s empty before it’s too cool to enjoy. Having said this, I noticed when washing it that it is not sealed between the outer colored shell and the inner stainless sleeve. I noticed soap bubbles coming out of the joint.

This made me wonder if the whole inner lining would come out, which is how I discovered that the handle isn’t as sturdy as it appears. I can wriggle it back and forth a bit and you can see the area where it joins the cup “flexing”.

I have a total of 3 of the 24oz mugs and this only happens on the blue one, so maybe it’s just one that slipped by quality control. While it bugs my OCD side, I don’t know that it affects anything. I guess I’ll find out in the long run if it comes apart.

Despite this, it’s still my favorite coffee vessel. It does well with soup also.

I love this mug! As much as I love the heat/cold retaining properties of other Hydro Flask products, there’s just something wonderful about having a cup of coffee out of a proper mug with a handle. Plus it’s really high quality.

Other camp mugs I’ve tried are plastic and flimsy. The powder coating makes this mug feel very solid. It’s also very durable. I was particularly clumsy on my last trip and kicked the mug around the campsite not once, not twice, but three times and it’s held up like a charm.

And, you really see where the quality comes in when it’s very cold. Camping in December and the temperature in the morning was in the 30s. My buddy had a cheapy knock off mug and his coffee was cold in about 30 seconds! 30 minutes later and mine was still piping hot.

The best part is the new lid. Having the closure on the lid is a MAJOR improvement. I didn’t get this mug before with the tumbler lid because I knew it would spill. Not with the new lid. Remember how I kicked it three times? Yeah, not a drop spilled.

I was offered this 20 ounce Stanley Travel Mug for free in exchange for my honest review. I tried it with my morning coffee- I heated it up in the microwave to make sure it was good and hot. I was really surprised that it was still hot after many hours had passed.

I suggest being careful when drinking because although the outside feels cool to the touch, the liquid is still pretty hot. I like the trigger action push button lid that definitely prevents any spillage.

I received the matte burgundy color, it’s a really nice color. It does tend to get smudged though. I don’t care for the big Stanley name and logo on the front. I’m just not a fan of companies that advertise by putting their name and logos on items like this.

Overall though, I would say it is a well made durable travel mug and I would recommend.

This is the second mug I purchased. I love it! This one was a Christmas gift for my wife. It performs pretty much like Stanley says it does. I have 2 Yetti’s (gifts), but they do not keep coffee/tea hot as long as my Stanley.

Plus, the lid and trigger are really easy to clean, unlike other competitors. Remember, your beverage will only last as hot as it does, depending on how hot it is when it enters the mug. There is a heat transfer when you pour the beverage into the mug, so if you want it to stay hot, make sure you get your beverage really hot before you transfer it into the mug.

One other trick to keep your beverage hot. Fill your Stanley mug up with hot water before you poor your hot coffee/tea into it and poor the hot water out just before you poor your beverage into the mug.

This mug will last a long time!.

I bought the Twin Pack because I always wanted a clean one available to use when I wanted. I didn’t have a preference on color or design option, but they had different options to choose. I did like the set is in different colors.

I found I make my drinks in the morning and have different beverages during the day. Stanley quality is superb in maintaining drink temperatures threw out the day. The easy cleaning is what I liked best.

The lids come apart for easy cleaning and drying, then they are ready to go again. For what I do with them they are sturdy, and the lids have a seal great. I have never had one leak.

I purchased this for use in my home. There is nothing about it that I don’t like. I have two other similar items I purchased elsewhere that just don’t fit the bill and I’ve been looking for the perfect one for quite a while.

Needless to say, I stopped using the other two after receiving this. Whether it’s for the size, screw-on top, color, handle, keeping the inside liquid hot or cold, I have found this to be perfect.

I’ve tried quite a few Insulated Travel Mugs. I really like this mug. Does a fair job at keeping items hot. Easy to grip and hold. Nice handle. I’ve not owned mine long enough to offer an opinion about Cold beverages.

Judging from the way the mug keeps hot beverages hot,I’m gonna figure it’ll do a similar job with cold beverages.

I love the look of the mug and it truly does keep drinks warm for at least 5 hours. I took it to work with a coffee in it and got busy, several hours later returned to get my coffee and it was still quite warm.

The outside stays cool while having a warm drink inside. I searched everywhere for this mug. It kept selling out wherever it was sold. Definitely like the product!.

May not seem like a big deal, but this mug is shown with a decretive box, assuming it comes in that box. IT DOES NOT. It comes in an ugly brown box. I purchased 5 for my all the moms in my life. Now I have to go find a nice bag or wrapping due to this misleading photo.

Recently purchased a love seat that has a center console to hold drinks. We love sipping coffee/tea while watching tv or reading, but the cup holders do not accommodate a mug w/ a handle. So ordered this ceramic travel mug to solve the problem and it fits perfectly.

Was afraid the silicone cover might leak while drinking. but it does not! Works perfectly. This mug keeps the drink very hot, so be careful! In my situation I really do not even need the cover and it is much nicer to sip out of than an acrylic type would be.

And as a bonus, it’s pretty and goes with the colors in my decor.

Ordered this as a gift for a new mom. Looks pretty seems fine. Only thing is I will have to try to unbox it with out ripping it and re box it before giving it. It seems to be covered in gray dusty dirt from sitting in the warehouse.

It actually made my fingers dirty. I hope it washes off of the rubber lid ok since it is white. If I cannot repack it I will just have to box it up the way it is with tissue paper. Hopefully it will all come clean cause it is really pretty.

I bought this mug because I rather drink coffee out of a mug type cup and needed some insulation because I don’t like cold coffee. I wanted to test out the capabilities of this mugs heat retention and hope this helps you in your decision.

I boiled water (~212’) and poured it in the mug. After 1hr. 35min. the water temp dropped to 175’. Keep in mind this was static water and wasn’t been tampered with in any way, and the lid was kept on.

Then at about 3hr. 50 min. the temperature measured at 150’. In all I felt for my purposes this was sufficient enough because I do drink my coffee constantly and don’t let it just sit around. If you on the other hand are looking for something to keep your cup of Joe hot all day you should look at Hydroflasks other shaped alternatives as the mug is more for someone like me who will consistently sip their coffee and be finished within 2 hours.

I bought one for myself and then one for a dear friend! It’s great to have for a traveling cup of java and fits nicely into the cup holder in my car. Also, love the handle too! Make sure you read the instructions and DO NOT place this into your dishwasher.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how long it kept my coffee hot. Handle is the perfect dimensions. Lid does not leak. Not to mention super cute Lily pattern.

This cup is amazing and keeps drinks hotter than my yeti! My only complaint is that the plastic top has a crack already and I just got this for Christmas. Not sure if I can get a replacement lid?

Was really hoping to like this. Unfortunately there are several design flaws that make this practically unusable. First of all, even with the anti-splash filter, there is a significant chance for leaks.

In the first day of using it I spilled boiling hot coffee on myself/clothes/floor three times. I still have burns on my forearm from it. When it comes to drinking from it there’s design flaws as well.

Having fluid go through a narrow neck and then into a wider lip leads there to be a dam effect so you keep changing the angle waiting for a small sip to come and then BAM a huge amount of coffee pours out and given how wide the lip is you are inundated with coffee.

I don’t have a small mouth by any means and would almost always have coffee running down the sides of my mouth with each sip. Not a smooth and intuitive design like most of fellow products. I feel like this was an attempt to try and find the holy grail of coffee mug tops.

One in which you allow aroma to escape (really the source of flavor of coffee and the reason to buy fancy beans/grinders/brewing devices) while still allow for safe travels. But it fails in the most important aspects of what a lid should do.

Sacrificing safety and convenience. I would hope that this goes back to the drawing board. Honestly I don’t think this is even safe to sell at this point.

Conceptually I was quite interested in this lid, but the reality of experience is far away from that of the Carter’s normal drinking experience. I am really disappointed. Positives: + The magnets in the cap have a satisfying self-locating snap.

Very nice. + Easy to clean + Appearance of the lid is high quality Missed opportunities: – The “mouth feel” of the lid is really a step down from the lip of the Carter. The profile of the lip seems to be a hard square edge and it frankly is no good (comparatively).

– The slots that allow liquid to pass beneath the magnetic cap need to be larger or more numerous. The flow is uneven and has ended up flowing more on one side of my mouth than the other which has led to coffee on my shirt a couple times.

I have not had that issue with the regular Carter. The Carter’s drinking experience is modeled after that of a wine glass and I’ve become accustomed to that really elevated drinking experience. The 360° Sip Lid is a nice expansion to the functionality of the mug but a downgrade in drinking performance.

While I am an ardent Fellow Products supporter, I cannot recommend this lid.

I was excited to get the new sip lid and perhaps my regular use of the screw on lid for so long with the splash guard beneath got me excited for what I hoped would be a simple solution that would make it easier to drink from while still being the best thermal coffee cup there is.

As soon as the lid became available, I ordered it. When it arrived, I washed it and tried it out on a trip to the coast for a surf. What I like is the 360 drinkability. However, the magnetic bit in the middle is a bit odd.

I thought there would be a button or some quick twist motion that makes the middle go down/up, but it’s just a magnet so it really is like a convertible. I would love for something that has the 360 drinkability while not sacrificing the heat retention, which when that sucker is closed it retains like a boss.

I think the 360 is cool, but needs an upgrade and perhaps a more comfortable bit to drink from along the edge as well would help (like the shape of the mug when the lid is off has a more comfortable shape.

I found myself just going back to the screw top in the end, but it was fun to try and I still love Fellow Products and use them daily.

I’m sorry to give a bad review, but it’s an honest one. This was a “free” gift with an order of several boxes of K cups. When I filled the mug with hot coffee, the metal part of the outside became extremely hot, making me use caution when holding the black grip.

After getting to my destination 45 minutes later, I opened to drink COLD coffee. This will go into the grandkids’ drawer for their koolaid and water cups. Thanks for the gift, Keurig, but it’s just not a great product.

I purchased 2 of these. One for me and my husband. Very nice mugs, but not what I expected. I thought these were thermal. Great for my hot chocolate, but not so great for hubby’s coffee. The coffee gets cold.

His current thermal keeps his coffee hot all day. Let me know if you guys have a Thermas that would fit our supreme smart machine. We still love the cups.

This is the second one of these I have bought. I have one at home and one in my RV. It’s the perfect size for using with the Keurig coffee makers. It doesn’t have a handle to get in the way, the rubber grip is nice to use, and the rubber bottom keeps it from sliding around.

Small enough to fit in any vehicle cup holder. The lid is very comfortable to drink from and has a place for your lip that makes it dripless. Best one I have ever had.

I LOVED my original Camelbak Forge, so I was excited to replace it with the new version. Boy, do I regret it. It has leaked from the second I filled it with water. The lid easily scuffs, unlike the lid to the previous Forge.

The body dings easily and in a month is already wobbling. I’m not that hard on my water bottle. It goes hiking with me in my backpack and goes to work with me and sits on a table or a shelf. There’s no reason it should be so damaged in a month of use.

Save your money, buy something else.

Best Coffee mug I have ever had. I have had 2 of these for over 5 years now and recently the lid for one of the got broken when it was knocked off a workbench onto a concrete floor. The newer mug has a larger spout but seems to work just as well as the original one.

Love the color. I like how it has a “venting” setting on the spout. Just wish the spout was a little bigger but then again I’d probably just burn my mouth

I’ve had this about a month now, it gets the job done with a few advantages over the other 14 oz rambler mug I’ve had. I like the flip lid and the lip it has, it’s not a water tight seal, but it’s more splash proof than others.

The sloped sides and handle make it more comfortable to hold too. As far as keeping coffee hot, it’s on par with the competition with the lids on.

While working from home, I make a mug of coffee each morning in my Keurig. The mug fits easily under it and it holds the largest oz setting with a little room for cream. I take it to my laptop work area and sip as I work.

Sometimes I get engrossed in the work and forget my coffee, but it is still warm when I go back to it. Love it! As some have said, the lid does click closed but does not make a tight seal if completely inverted.

It is plenty closed to prevent quick spills, but don’t put it in a bag.

I have had my Otterbox mug about a month now. It is well designed with the lid and wide base – it is not as likely to tip over on my work desk. The teal color is so pleasing, it makes me happy. I like the feel, I like how well the lid is designed also to prevent spills on in my work area.

It is my favorite mug!.

First and foremost, I purchased this as a gift and solely because of the measurements. The measurements shown are not accurate. The cup is too big for the intended use based on the stated measurements.

Dissappointment all over the place. My wife is on a mission to find a travel coffee cup that will fit in the glovebox of her vespa. The measurements provided matched an aerosol can we had, and that fit, so I ordered it.

This cup is bigger than stated. It very snuggly fits the jeep cup holder and easily in a Ford truck, but at a hair under 3″ diameter, it will never fit in a Vespa glovebox. Disappointment aside: This is a good cup.

It does what it says. Hot things stay hot, cold things stay cold. Good size options. Wondered if the lid positioning would be a problem, but we don’t mid it. Seems like the spill proof features work.

We will be putting it on the top rack of the dishwasher. I’ll let you know if it messes up. My big RTIC tumbler is 4 years strong of regular dishwasher cleaning so, I hope the quality is the same.

Over all, this is a well made, sturdy and perfectly sized mug. I love the handle, the size and the fact that my coffees stays hot till the final sip. The weakness that affects the overall design is in the lid.

This is partly my fault. I missed the description that mentioned the screw-on lid. I much prefer a flip off lid. The problem lies in the fact that when the lid is screwed on it is very difficult to turn the extra 1/4 turn to line up the spout.

Additionally the lids must be moistened to allow them to turn far enough. Then afterwards the lid is very difficult to remove. Also, I’ve noticed that the lids aren’t really interchangeable. The lid for one turns too far on one mug before it seals and the other won’t turn far enough.

This means that I must make sure I have the right lid with the right mug even though they should be identical. They are useable, but I’d not buy them again.

I purchased this mug for my wife to use while in the car. The size fits really nicely into the cup holders in her car. I was initially extremely disappointed with the screw on style of lid. It took more hand strength than my wife has to tighten it so the opening was in the correct orientation.

I uploaded a very negative review on 12/26 (haven’t seen it posted yet) and followed up with an email to RTIC customer service. They immediately sent out a new lid to try. Received it today and it was a much better fit.

I also wiped the o-ring seal with a little olive oil for lubrication – that and the new lid solved the problem. I’m still not a fan of the screw on lid but this will work. I do believe though that it might be time to bring production home from China.

Quality control is much easier when the factory is next door rather than the other side of the world. I’ll update after we use it for a while.

I am very picky about travel mugs and this one checked all of the boxes. I wanted a mug that fit well in any cup holder, didn’t leak, had a simple mechanism for opening and closing, and had a nice outflow of my coffee.

This thing is perfect. I’ve had many versions of Stanley’s throughout my coffee drinking years and this one by far takes the cake. PS. The reviews you may see about the lid being complicated to assemble is ridiculous.

If you can put gas in your car you can put this lid together.

This is the best travel mug I have ever owned. The construction is excellent and it feels like it will last a very long time. My favorite part about this mug is the lid. It disassembles into two pieces for cleaning.

This allows every part of the lid to be cleaned thoroughly and easily. I always worry about cleaning other kids fully with the small books that are impossible to reach, but this lid is designed perfectly.

I highly recommend unless you are looking for a mug with a lid that can be opened with one hand as this requires both.

Really regret my purchase! Bought 2 for myself and husband. I have 4 issues with them: 1. ) Don’t keep coffee hot … Luke warm within an hour. 2. ) coffee dribbles/drips from sipping area down edge of mug or down the front of you especially as you near the end of your cup.

3. ) not a hard powder coat finish … it’s a rubber sleeve which pulls away from the stainless mug … water will definitely get in between and I suspect cause rusting or mold growth over time 4. ) Not returnable if you used the mugs.

… I’ve had them 10 days. How are you supposed to know how they work unless you try them? I didn’t know they were going to dribble and not keep coffee hot. And, I did call Hydroflask and ask about returning them.

I was honest and told them I used them and explained all my reasons but was told no return possible.

I’m currently preparing for full-time vanlife and am outfitting my new home with non-breakable items; my ceramic coffee mugs aren’t going to make the transition. I have other Hydro Flask products so I knew the mug would be excellent at keeping my coffee hot.

There’s a fairly narrow range of temperature where I find it most pleasant to drink (not too hot, not too cold) and the Mug works great for this purpose. I keep the lid off until the coffee reaches optimum temperature; closing it up keeps it there until I’m finished it.

The Mug feels pretty good in hand – so much better than drinking out of a thermos – but I subtracted a star because the handle doesn’t work perfectly with my hand size (a little too big or a little too small, I haven’t figured it out yet).

This is the second of these mugs I have purchased. I was pleasantly surprised by a couple of things in this new one: First and foremost, the new lid (2021) is better than the old lid. It’s more spill-resistant and I dare say will help keep fluids warmer even longer.

Secondly, the colour (Clementine) is really nice! A few cons: I feel like the handle won’t last forever, as is plastic-like without metal underneath, but I’m no engineer, so maybe I’m wrong about that.

Also, more of a caveat than a gripe- ICYMI, it’s not a mug sized to fit most car cupholders. I knew that from the start and got it anyway, because that was not how I intended to use it. All in all, it’s a great insulated mug IMO and keeps warm drinks warm for hours!.

I have lots of UBB Stonewear, and this one is a great addition! Aesthetics: 4. 5/5 – This is almost more of a statement piece than a mug! Love the smooth, glazed top in contrast with the rough/rustic textured bottom.

Product is beautiful, but I ordered two and the paint isn’t uniform near the lip of the mug on either. Visible brush strokes or glaze drips. Expect some handmade vibes. Overall color and style are gorgeous, but some small misses on the fine detail.

Wish there were more gender neutral colors offered. Quality: 5/5 – I own a previous UBB uninsulated travel mug, and the heat transfer makes that one impossible to use for hot liquids without a sleeve.

This does a much better job! I used hot water from a water dispenser to test this item, and I would say the top approaches the upper end of comfort initially, but the lower part (tan) stayed very comfortable the entire time.

SCORE! (Using boiled water might make the top portion a bit uncomfortable. ) Previous uninsulated version featured a silicone top, while this version uses plastic. This is a trade-off, as the silicone tops can leak, and lose elasticity over time, while hot water and plastic aren’t ideal, and cleaning rubber gaskets for sanitation is a bit more work.

I’m happy with the trade-off at this time, as my husband just complained about our older travel mugs leaking. Heat retention is good. Better than un-insulated, but less than metal double walled mugs.

This item is handwash only and not microwave friendly, like other UBB stoneware products. Size: 4/5 Just enough, but would jump at the opportunity for a larger size. (12-16 oz) Value: 5/5 on sale. Would purchase on sale, but not full retail.

Also wish this was made in the US to support a more responsible carbon footprint. Great item for gifts!.

So I seem to have received a second-quality mug (in eggshell/the moon pattern), because it looks like a MUCH crappier version of the mug pictured. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attach my picture, but the glaze is too thick in some places, and possibly too thin in others.

This resulted in a streaky, blobby finished glaze, and in some places it has seeped into the spots that should be unglazed to create the moon pattern. No black specks on the mug either, as there are in the picture.

Just a sloppy, lazy looking product. The moon pattern is still cute, I guess, but I easily could’ve purchased this from somewhere like TJ Maxx for maybe $5. The lid does seem a bit unreliable, too, but at least it’s as pictured.

Very disappointed in UBB on this one.

I also both the other ceramic travel style by UBB. That one is a mess leaking and crazy hot. This new one stays cool from the double wall. I thought it would be heavy because of the double wall of ceramic, but it’s really not bad.

The lid is secure and no drips from the top. This is hand wash only. I wouldn’t do a top rack because there’s a small hole on the bottom that water would definitely get inside. I got the cedar rose color and it looks just like the photos.

I think this would make a nice gift.

I ordered this because I thought it was cute and it had good reviews, but honestly, I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be big enough or that I wouldn’t care for it. In fact: it has instantly become my favorite, go-to mug!!! I have literally used it since I took it out of the box! I just keep hand washing it so I can use it again because waiting for it to cycle through the dishwasher would be too long.

LOL! I love that there’s no handle. I use it at home, but I can also grab it if I’m running the kiddo to school or something. The lid is LEGIT! It’s not one of those flimsy, rubbery-smelling ones that barely stays on.

Once you put it on, it’s good to go! I just don’t have enough room to list off all the things I love about this perfect lil mug! I hope Grove makes more designs!!.

I love this for my coffee. However, the silicone band gets very hot with my coffee. I add a Freakers brand reusable Slippy around the mug in order to help keep in the heat and to protect my fingers. The lid keeps spills away.

I personally do not find it difficult to drink with the lid on. The design is very beautiful. It’s thick ceramic and I hope it lasts me years. I only handwash it.

When first received thought it was small but to my surprise it holds 12oz. Like the idea behind this reusable mug but think it could use more fine tuning. The band isn’t wide enough to shield your hand from the hot mug.

The top didn’t fall off but didn’t give a sense that it was on tight. Takes a bit to get the hang of getting the mouthpiece cover to close. Was a bit too short for my car, had to get it out of the cup holder grabbing it from the top instead of the side which made me worry about the lid falling off.
