I bought this travel bag for a trip I took a few weeks ago. The bag was on 4 flights and my clubs were in perfect condition after the flights. But the best thing about this bag was how easy it was to walk through the airport.

I like the bag the rollers are very sturdy and the bag itself has lots of padding. The only drawback to this is the bag is a bit heavy. With todays weigh in standards at the airport I worry about it being over weight.

The shifting for the front crank on my five-year old Surly ECR with the stock Surly-branded 2×9 drivetrain had never been amazing, and had gotten worse over time as the chainrings became more worn. It had reached the point where I was minimizing the times I shifted the front crank because it either wouldn’t shift or would throw the chain, and this was a problem because I commute a few hundred miles per month on my bike.

The Surly-branded replacement chainrings were very expensive, and I wasn’t enthusiastic about buying new ones since they’d never worked super well in the first place. I’d been reluctant to switch to a different drivetrain because my ECR has odd-ball chainstay spacing due to the 29er+ wheels, however, I’d noticed that Surly had switched their stock drivetrain to the SRAM NX 1×12 system–after some research, I determined that the SRAM NX system was designed as a “drop in” replacement for my Shimano-standard freehub, and Moosejaw had them in stock at a good price, so I decided to go for it.

The installation was easy and SRAM’s instructions were very thorough (once I eventually found them–they’re not included in the box and weren’t easy to find on their website) and the system has been working perfectly for the first hundred miles or so, which seems like a great sign.

My only regret is not switching to the SRAM NX drivetrain sooner!.

I have had SRAM NX Eagle Dub Boost Group set for over a year now a I am very impressed and pleased. The group set arrived stock on my Ripmo AF. The cassette requires minimum to no maintenance. The shifter complies to your commands.

The crank is durable. No issues with spider ring. I needed to adjust the shifting once after riding for 2 months and have not needed to adjust since. The rear derailleur shifts as sportingly as did SRAM X-9 rear derailleur.

For a complete groupset, I don’t think you can beat it at this price. Replaced my entire NX setup on the old Remedy with this and it’s a nice improvement in shifting, especially under load. Installation was simple except for my PF bottom bracket (stop making these!) but that’s no fault of the groupset.

The included b-tension adjuster guide made it easy to align properly and shifting has been flawless. The 52T is as big as a salad plate, but I sure do appreciate it on those steep uphill grinds.

(My initial model had to be exchanged because one of the leg locks did not function with weight. The new one was fine. ) Excellent travel tripod that will fit in a checked bag. The compact size paired with a high max height and weight capacity are what led me to choose this one.

Everything functions well and it comes with a great case that organizes the spare parts well. Only issue is the rising pedestal makes the camera a little wobbly at maximum height so you should really try to get there with legs only if possible.

So far it has been great, I should have looked at the weight though because it is barely a half pound lighter than my old tripod. Just assumed carbon fiber would be much lighter, dont make assumptions kids.

Did swap back to my old ball head though out of preference, just more familiar feeling. If you’re on a budget I recommend an aluminum tripod, they’re cheaper and nearly as light. If you really want to shave weight for hiking though you cant go wrong with this bad boy.

Added bonus it’s a really nice looking tripod imo.

It’s a good tripod, easy and quick to deploy, sturdy enough for its weight. The twist locks are solid, they feel very premium, and are very easy to clean. The center column is aluminum, and very heavy.

There is no short center column accessory for this tripod, which is a huge bummer. The ballhead is the worst. It does not lock strong enough with my moderately heavy mirrorless Fujifilm setup. One horrible design flaw, the same knob locks the head and the panning base, so if you’re planning to do panoramas, invest in another ballhead.

To start, this is an amazing bag and I have used mine for a couple years. It is durable, holds my camera body, 3 lenses, drone with controller and 2 batteries, gopro, extra batteries, and accessories, and all of my charging cables.

There is no other bag I see myself using. However, because I used it so much, one of the zipper taps snapped off and a hole wore through on the inner mesh. Regardless, the bag itself gets a 5/5 star rating because of how awesome it is.

Nomatic has a lifetime warranty. except filing a claim, contacting customer service, and getting a help is absolutely horrible. I filed a claim and was told 3-4 week turn around time. The time passed and I didn’t hear anything.

So I reached out multiple times (via text because this is their only means of customer service communication) only to get a response of 3-4 weeks is the average wait time and it can be up to 6 weeks.

So I waited another 2 weeks and still heard nothing. Because of this Nomatic gets a 0/5 score which is what brought the score of this review down so much. Nomatic, improve taking care of your customers when they have issues.

I reached out again and was told to wait again, however I explained the situation and how I had patiently waited and how much I love this bag. The customer service rep I ended up working with, named Kyle, was absolutely amazing.

He was very polite, saw that I had patiently waited, and then personally looked at my ticket to provide me with an update and ended up helping me get a new bag because the hole in the inner mesh is not able to be replaced.

On top of that, I had a blast talking to him because he seems like a really laid back and genuine guy and he helped me trust Nomatic a little more after how annoyed I was. Kyle, you’re the best dude.

Kyle gets a 10/5. In conclusion, if you are considering getting a really durable and customizable camera bag, look no further, this is the best camera bag on the market, plain and simple. However, just hope and pray it doesn’t break on you because dealing with Nomatic customer support and filing a warranty claim is a nightmare.

I’m not saying this isn’t a great bag, it’s well designed with high-end materials. When it really comes down to it though, when all the fast-talking in the video and the cool branding wears off, it’s just a Peak Design Travel Backpack knockoff for a lot more money.

Almost every feature is either the same as, or clearly based on, the PD bags that came before it, including the modular design it’s based on. The only difference is this one straight black, leathery looking, and a good $200 more with EVERY accessory sold separately.

And they are not cheap either. I just can’t see what this bag is offering that the just as good and cheaper predecessor doesn’t. Especially at a time when the whole camera industry is struggling, including Peak Design — to release a camera bag that is $500+ makes me think this is more of a branding gimmick than unique design.

I’ve owned many camera bags over the years and it’s not even close. Fit and finish are top notch. Zipper smoothness, which is oddly important to me, is perfect. The customization options and overall storage pockets in the bag are well thought out.

I’m able to fit 3 bodies, 4, lenses, 2 batter grips, filters, chargers, and extra batteries all within the main compartment. Then I still have all the extra pockets and storage spots for chords and accessories.

Then I can throw both my 16” MacBook Pro and my 12. 9” iPad Pro in there as well. On top of all that, when I need to pack clothes into the bag I can easily get 3-5 days worth depending if it’s warm weather clothes or cold weather.

Is it extremely heavy with all that in there? Absofreakinglutely. But the ergonomics of the straps and back padding as well as the chest and waist straps help distribute the weight amongst my torso. Truly an incredibly well made product and I don’t see my self buying any other travel bags from any other brand unless it’s something animatic doesn’t make.

I really do highly recommend y’all put the money into these bags and stop wasting $250-$400 on a new bag from another company every 2-3 years. Can wait for my next McKinnon bag to come in.

Great quality. It does tip over easily while standing up unless you pack heavy stuff by the wheels. Great functional pockets. Mine is marked up as described in other reviews. My biggest complaint is the single stem handle….

I carry my flight helmet in a separate bag and due to the single handle it will not ride on top of the bag. A doubled stemmed handle would make life better for me. I may switch back to my old carry on just for this reason.

Excellent bag for a carry on. I fit five pairs of pants, shirts, underwear and socks in it every week. I also carry a laptop, charger, sunglasses and cell chargers and there is room for even more items.

With regards about the reviews on the bag not sitting up when packed, you will have no issues at all. You do have to pack it right, but I promise it’s not that hard. Pants on the bottom and shirts on top, works every time!.

I will start off by saying it is a very well built bag that does perform adequately with just a few nuances that are annoying. The first is what has been stated multiple times, it tips over when loaded no matter how you position the weight.

Second is the color gets pretty roughed up but I am not kind to the bag and it has help up like a champ. The one thing that surprised me was the comment from a pilot about what kind of bag it was and really liked it.

I also love the little top pocket for holding headphones, tickets, etc. I would buy again and if they come out with a darker color, the wife may get one to. Buy with confidence.

Originally got this last winter because every time I went to boost a friend’s car, I’d always have to look up the correct order for connecting the booster cables. At the time, they were always needing their car boosted and I was always forgetting which cable went on first.

I was also starting to worry about the health of my battery, always having to give out boosts. Not to mention, one time I called the auto club for a boost, and after waiting a bit, they arrived and even they got the cables mixed up, causing sparks.

This booster is error proof and only works when it’s connected the correct way. A few months later, I got to use this for the first time, and gave someone a boost in the underground garage. Theirs was a 5 year old car that hadn’t been driven for a few months due to lockdowns.

It felt pretty slick to just whip this thing out and not have to pop my own hood. One corner of the red cable plastic shield did crack off, but I was going to wait until another boost or two, before passing judgement.

After the quick boost, there were still 4 bars, still fully charged. Just recently, I had to replace the heater core on my car, and realized that the NOCO booster could be used as a shop light, The light setting just below the brightest light setting was perfect, and lasted 13 hours the first day, down to 2 bars, recharged overnight to full charge 4 bars, and then good again for another 6 hours the next day, down to 3 bars, then recharged again overnight, and placed back in the trunk.

Before, when working on the car, I would use my camping headlamp, and always lamented not having a proper shop light. For this repair, I started off using both lights, but then realized that I didn’t need the headlamp at all, so took it off.

As long as the light function keeps working on this NOCO, I can forgive it almost anything, even a bit of broken plastic. I will probably end-up using using this more for the shop light than for the boost, but the fact that it can boost offers peace of mind.

Bought it on sale awhile back, charged it up but never had a chance to use it till this -29° early morning. Tried to remote start the car but it wouldn’t start so geared up and went out to try to manually start it.

The engine barely turned over for a couple of revolutions and then nothing at all. The battery is over 5 years old so the life ecpectancy is at its end. Hooked up the Noco GB70, hit the power button and the level indicator started strolling which means it is transferring power to the dead battery.

Went in the car and turned the ignition on and the engine turned over easily and sprung to life. Just like that! Amazing, amazing product. Went out to check the power level on the booster and it was still on full charge.

Turned it off and unhooked it. If I hadn’t bought this booster, I would have had to do it the old fashion way and hook up a battery charger to charge it for an hour or 2 or try and find someone to boost me and at 6:15am not everyone is even awake yet.

A life saver, buy one! I also have the newer GBX75.

Bought my GB70 a week ago It was a toss-up between the GB50 and the larger GB70. It was a hard decision as my cars are: 24 year old Volvo V70 2. 5, an 02 plate Vauxhall Astra 1. 6 Estate (Dad’s for 16 years with only 67k miles before he passed away), a 42 year old MG Midget 1.

5 classic (but with lazy starting and a poor battery), and the SO has an 07 plate Renault Migraine 1. 5 diesel (which she loves to pieces). That’s the stable. Early days and so far only used as a test on the Midget as she had been Covidicised for several months and the battery voltage had dropped to c.

9 volts and wouldn’t turn the engine over even though she had sat in a garage. I eventually chose the GB70 because you really don’t want to be stuck with a more mature car on a cold/wet night and I wanted to be absolutely sure I had a huge reserve of power, especially for the 42 year old.

Have to say though that the GB70 is a BIG brute but on the face of it really well built (as was the GB50 though appreciably smaller) but I was attracted in addition of the permenantly attached power cables and additional inlets/outlets for secondary uses.

Charged up from my PC overnight from a 2. 1 volt UBS socket. It came with a pulsing single red capacity light and took a while to get a move on but overall took about 7 hours before it was full charged with the big green 100% solid light indicator blazing away.

Pretty good start and top up from a cars cigarette lighter at less than half this time ogers well. Hooked up to my reluctant to start Midget (called Bridget along with so many others!) and despite not having been fired up for about 4 months the starter went from ‘not a chance mate’ without the GB70 to ‘jeez mate this is like starting a car with a full charged AGM battery’.

B. H. , it was astonishing. You have to remember that an old(ish) Midget has a mechanical fuel pump and good old fashioned carbs and it takes a while to get the fuel from the tank to the engine unlike all these new autos with pressurised FI and electronic ignition which copes with all the stating techniques automatically for you.

Non the less it took only two short bursts on the starter (she almost took on the second try) to a small puff of smoke and a nicely revving motor on the third. The power level in the GB70 was still on green.

This jump starter is a BEAST for performance. Would the GB50 have done the job as well? My guess is that it probably would have done so and to be that much more compact has to be an advantage. However just think of that cold wet blustery night when the use is for much more than a 1500cc midget engine that was stored in a garage.

It is a big plus to have such a more compact unit (and at a lowe price) but the number of times in my life that I have underestimated performance in severe conditions my money is still on the GB70. Overall I am pleased I decided on the GB70 but each to their own.

Oh yes, one thing I did think about was that the lamp on the GB70 is claimed to be a 4000 lumen unit. 4000 lumens output is a serious shed load of light. I have been using Maglite torches for the last 40 years and I consider them to be the most reliable and ‘illuminating’ torches ever made (simply brilliant and actually not all that pricey) the 4000 lumens on the GB70 was NO match at all.

Saying that the 4000 unit lamp on the GB70 was ok (just) for under the bonnet use in the dark. The 2000 lumen lamp on the GB50; heaven help us if it is pouring with the wet stuff when what you really need is the more light the better.

As I said, each to there own, choice is so often a matter of balance, to me I made the right choice with the GB70. It is neat, appears well built and sturdy with jump starting to match the price – EASILY Now to see how it performs over time ! Andy p.

s. Halfords is a pretty good place for enthusiastic older car lovers to buy stuff from and armed with my ‘Trade’ card the price was attractive at £136 quids. So then, thus far, I am a pretty happy bunny.

I was first introduced to Peak Design’s luggage lineup by their monster-sized 65L Duffelpack. Its innovative features and cargo capacity have made it useful for long and short work trips alike. When I needed a new dedicated carry-on backpack, I chose to buy this pack because of my satisfaction with its massive sibling, and it doesn’t disappoint.

At its smallest setup, it holds 35L and is compact enough for daily use. When fully expanded, it holds 45L while still remaining easy to transport. In its standard configuration, it holds 40L. Personally, I’ve found the standard configuration to be the most convenient.

In this mode, the bag will hold three units of Peak Design packing accessories and meet most airlines’ carry-on restrictions. As far as build quality, it’s up to Peak Design standards. The material is a thick and water-resistant nylon canvas.

The stitching is sturdy, and the handles feel rock solid. If I had one complaint, it would be that the shoulder straps aren’t foam-padded, but this is a small trade-off for their ability to fold into the bag and reduce its footprint.

On a recent trip, I loaded this bag with a camera cube and a packing cube, then used the free space at the top for bulkier items. I had room for four days’ worth of work and evening clothes, plus my SLR and lenses.

It doesn’t feel nearly as large as it is when you’re wearing it, but it has a voracious appetite for gear. And the versatility is absolutely inasane! You can configure this backpack to haul just about anything and in most cases, I would reach for it before I look at my carryon spinner.

The strap design makes it super comfortable to wear, even when you have a really long walk. Also, it’s built to extremely high quality standards to ensure years of trouble-free use. It’s not the cheapest backpack for sure, but you’ll have no regrets about buying it and you will get your money’s worth.

This is not going to be your main guitar – don’t compare this to your custom shop uber-ax. It is a perfect travel guitar which is much much better than I expected. SO much that through the NUX MP2 and headphones used when travelling it is good enough for hours of play.

The tones are surprisingly good even through a full modeller-PA system. It’s a laugh. Sure there are things that could be better. The string ferrules on the back are press fit and come loose when removing strings – if this bothers you a tiny dap of glue and your good.

It was easy to adjust the truss rod and action to my taste. The feels isn’t quite like a full guitar as the first fret spacing feels like the 4th to 5th from a full guitar but you quickly forget about this.

I will probably replace the tuners, which work but aren’t smooth or precise enough, but that’s all I would change. For a travel guitar, or indeed a children’s guitar it’s near perfect. I also think it looks great.

First, and most importantly, this does not feel like a toy. It is solidly built with quality materials. I have several regular sized guitars but I always reach for this one because of the convenience factor.

The coil tap was a pleasant surprise and my only gripe is that there is a pretty significant volume drop of when you tap the coil for the single pickup sound (which is not uncommon). The carry on and the fly 3 don’t compare to my Tele/Katana 50 but they are not meant to.

That being said, you are not compromising anything with this guitar. The neck, frets, easily accessible truss rod adjustment, tuners, mini humbucker all feel like solid quality parts. And for those wondering, yes, you can actually travel with it.

I took it from Oklahoma to South Carolina (flying) with no issues. I may end up getting a fender mustang micro to minimize my setup even more but for now, I can play this guy anywhere without issues.

Ordered as a beginner guitar for someone who travels as part of the job. Things to note: Travel case which arrived appears to be a downgraded model which differs from what is advertised. Pen and book which come with it are beyond cheap (fine, I’ll let it slide, bought for the other items anyways.

) Amp works as advertised. Guitar as a whole though suffers from neck dive, and the small size makes it a bit difficult to counterbalance with your arm. Beyond that still a good guitar, though I’d probably recommend buying the guitar on its own separately from the add ons.

These are so convenient to have around. They taste like what is in the jar. The only thing is that the package is not meant to be in a place where it will be pressed up or exposed to high heat. Easily fits in small refrigerators and portable for a quick add to breakfast.

These jelly packs are very delicious and are great for on the go. Specifically for camping trips as storing then is much more convenient than the jam Jars that can break and cause a mess. These are also great to take to work and save space in the fridge.

The main let down is that they expire quickly so finishing all of them before their best before date is not realistic. You should buy these if you have a larger family.

One day, I awoke and thought, “it sure would be nice if Folger’s could be brewed in a bag, like the copious amounts of tea I drink”. With a bit of searching, I found these bags. They are not going to taste like your gourmet freshly ground home-fire-roasted beans, brewed in a glass pour over container, but it’s a cup of Folger’s.

What do you expect. It has enough caffeine to get you going and it’s as foolproof as boiling water and managing to somehow rip open the bag and placing it in a cup. I believe in a God, a just God, who somehow led me to these because before I was putting Folger’s in a metal colander and pouring it over; I can’t stand using a coffee machine.

Oh, these things are the Cats Meow I tell you!! If you are headed to some place where you aren’t certain there will be coffee, take one or two of these and put them in a pocket to tag along. When you get where you are going, take your travel mug inside with you.

Surely wherever you are they will have a water fountain and a microwave at the least and some Styrofoam cups (if your mug can’t go in the MW) to boil up 6 or 8 oz. of water. Pour the water in your mug, drop in the coffee single and let it steep for a few minutes.

Take the bag out OR (If you like your coffee with a little more “bite” to it) leave the bag in your mug as you chug it down and it’ll be plenty strong without being overly bitter. And how UNCOUTH can the folks be for NOT having coffee for visitors for crying out loud?!?.

This is a little sappy maybe, but five years ago, my grandma, who was battling brain cancer, introduced me to these. She’d traveled to see me and my Dad and Step Mom. Little did I know, this was a bit of a “goodbye” tour.

On my 25th birthday, we sat for hours talking and she made us coffee. I had one of the most amazing conversations I’d ever shared with her. When my grandma passed a year later, I’d just had my twins, and wasn’t able to attend her funeral.

I don’t have many photos of her and I together, either. But when I saw a box of the Foldger’s Classic Roast Singles in the store, I bought it. I now only use those, and I do feel they help inspire me when I write and I guess I feel a bit closer to my grandma, too.

It’s a nice memory to have and very comforting. Foldger’s is also the brand used on my mom’s side of the family. I grew up with it in the home, so it’s very nostalgic for me. Anywho, went from making starbucks in a French press (I used to work for the company, forgive me), to drinking the Foldger’s Classic Coffee Singles.

It’s very smooth and tasty. My only qualm is that wish I knew how much caffeine was in it, I couldn’t find that on the label for the red box. Please just keep them around, even if it’s only the one flavor.

This top tube bag is excellent companion for long distance riding. Material is soft (so, it won’t damage skin just in case it touches legs!) and yet sturdy enough. Spce is enough to carry needed stuff for multi-day riding.

I think this bag is worth the money, and I really like the color. If you have the cannondale gravel bike, I highly recommend it.

I have the Osprey Porter Travel Pack but I have really bad shoulder problems and thought I should switch over to roller bag, but still wanted the capability of on the back as I do a lot of adventure travel too, but that this could also work for work travel as well (the dark purple adds flare without being over the top).

-SPACE: The other reviews are accurate, that because of the shoulder strap design it does decrease cargo space however, I still find that the 36L is plenty of space – I was able to pack for 2 weeks (though about 4-5 days worth of clothing), including some camping gear (a sleeping bag) and multiple coats and fit between this and the 20L daylight daypack backpack.

I still think its plenty spacious for most flying travel if you’re not doing trekking of course which it’s not designed for and if you pack smart. If you are not checking the bag you can totally stuff extra coats in the area where the backpack straps tuck into to expand cargo.

Plus I have shoulder problems so this helped me pack light anyways. -BACKPACK DESIGN: The backpack straps and suspension I am really actually impressed with for a pack that’s not primarily designed for back wear — it’s way more comfortable than the Osprey Porter shoulder straps because it has the suspension/ventilation part and the padding on the straps is better.

-DURABILITY: I’ve taken it so far on planes and boats and is great – I checked it once on a plane and it held up fine. The satellite wheeler is a little more flimsy than a 2 rod design but I feel confident in Osprey’s lifetime warranty if I were to ever have an issue.

Also this bag attracts lint and cat hair like CRAZY. It gets dirty very easily but mostly because things stick to it.

I did lots of research and chose this pack for the capacity and the fact that it is sized for women with smaller torsos and narrower shoulders than the average man. I like all of these things and the pack is very comfy in those regards.

We are going to Patagonia and also on an Antarctica cruise. I will have high quality heavy camera gear so I bought this pack so I can trek around Patagonia or go see penguins on the ice with all my gear.

However I am amazed and disappointed that the waist straps are so short, that they won’t reach if I have some warmer clothing layers or a parka on. I will need warm clothes where i am going. I can only do the waist strap up with summer clothes and a light jacket.

I am not skinny but not particularly fat either and rather petit. These straps were not a fluke as we checked others in the store. I reached out to Osprey with the “Almighty Warranty” (NOT) and they are not shipping to Canada at this time or doing warranty work (WHAT??) So it was on my time and my dime to try and cobble up some longer straps for a $200+ dollar back pack.

So unless you never plan to go where you need some layered clothes and a warm jacket, or are as skinny as a rake, beware of those waist straps. Very disappointed in this as the cost to make them a couple inches longer would be minimal or non existent and it wouldn’t affect the function of the pack at all if they were pulled tighter on a person.

I paid a premium for this back pack and it has a major fixable flaw in the design.

The first thing I noticed about this bag is that it is very lightweight. It has both wheels and backpack straps and meets most carry-on requirements for international travel. I bought this as a carry-on so I don’t have to lug a backpack in the airport, or up stairs in subway and train stations in Europe.

The zippers are solid (though are not lockable), the pack has cinch straps in all the places I wanted them, and if you don’t want to use the hip straps in backpack mode, you can clip them back so they cover the wheels and aren’t flapping at your sides.

Negatives: – I have had convertible backpack/ pullman packs before; this one is lighter but it has a more cumbersome conversion from pullman to backpack- it takes a minute longer to put the backpack straps on, and longer if you want to cover the wheels by clipping the hip straps back to the front of the pack.

– The other spot where it loses some functionality for me is the single bar pull handle. With 2 bars, you can slide a bag with a pass-thru over the handle and it stays in place. With a single bar, the bag just keeps slipping around.

Keeping those 2 things in mind, and the fact that I have not used it in real life yet, at this point, it seems like the best available on the market for a convertible backpack/ wheeled carry-on sized bag.

You get what you pay for. It’s pricey but impressive- a lot of bang for your buck.

Having had many Travel Pro bags in the past, and seeing all the positive reviews, I had high hopes for this bag. I am a journalist constantly traveling so I was looking for a reliable bag that accommodated maximum space and was easy to maneuver.

I was enthused to read that the international version of this bag offered 20″ of interior space, rather than industry -standard of 19″. But when I received the bag, I was dismayed to discover that the base of the handle prongs are located inside, and at least 1.

5 inches thick – and there are two of them. For those of us using packing cubes, we loose space because this causes the cubes to be elevated. Using the expansion feature did no good because it caused the bag to be wider than international TSA permits.

Moreover, the handle kept sticking and we were unable to get it to completely extend without a lot of struggle. The zippers were stiff and difficult to maneuver, and remained so for the majority of my trip.

The pockets are good, no better than other high-end bags, but the non-detachable interior nylon side pockets were useless to me, had cumbersome plastic fastening features, supposedly to allow you to seatbelt in your belongings but caused space to be lost along the topside or if tucked in to sides.

Finally (and perhaps this was only an issue because the bag’s handle didn’t extend fully) the wheels should be made to spin, otherwise it is awkward to pull, especially when trying to move quickly through an airport or in a hotel hallway.

Other than that, I am impressed with the durability of the bag itself, esp because it is relatively lightweight.

I got this to replace my Travelpro rollerboard, which was so old I can’t remember when I got it. This one is smaller, which I knew, but made a bigger difference than I expected when I started to pack.

Only the bottom expands, which doesn’t give much added room. But it is really, really easy to roll, which is why I went with the spinner rather than the rollerboard. I haven’t traveled with it on a plane, so I don’t know how it will be to put into the overhead compartments.

But I expect it will be easier to roll down the aisle. I miss having the straps the click across my clothes–it’s weird how they try to incorporate storage into the structures that click across the clothes, barely reaching across the clothes.

And those storage parts are pointless, as are the side pockets. I miss the pockets in the top–now there is just one big area where everything gets jumbled together.

I have used the bag once. This was for a twelve-day trip. I like the bag very much – feel that it is well designed, maximizing the space and making it easy to use. Like the mesh zipped pockets on the “tie-downs” (perfect for small items), the zippered plastic case, etc.

Lots of thoughtful pluses to make packing (and finding things you packed!) easier. Also, easy access external pockets. Wheels are the best I’ve had on any suitcase, greatly improve maneuverability. Thank you! WHY ONLY 4 STARS??? Because one of the zipper pulls broke on the very first day of my trip.

This is on the main zipper to open the large compartments on the case. Photo attached. See damage on top right pull. I checked the bag, and when I picked it up at baggage claim the pull was broken off right at the angle at the bottom of the Travelpro logo.

This is one part of the bag that needs to be strong and in good working order!!! So I’m giving you a big thumbs down for this flaw.

This product functions as advertised. When I received this product I ran several tests to see is it lived up to its advertised claims. For my testing I used a Kill-A-Watt meter to verify the wattage a device used and the total wattage that was used.

To verify that it would run high current devices I ran a coffee maker that was rated at 1,450-watts and a 1,500-watt electric heater. Both devices ran normally. To verify that it had the capacity to run devices for the 1,260-Wh I powered the electric heater set on low (750-watts), recharged the product, and then I powered two regular 100-watt light bulbs (200-watts).

I ran the heater for 1-hour and the product showed that it had 27% of the battery remaining and the Kill-A-Watt meter showed that 0. 76-Kwh had been used. This indicates that the product has approximately 1,040-Wh capacity.

I ran the two light bulbs for 5-hours and the product showed that it had 6% of the battery remaining and the Kill-A-Watt meter showed that 980-Kwh had been used. This indicates that the product has approximately 1,040-Wh capacity.

The 1,040-Wh in use capacity indicates that the unit is about 83% efficient. While testing there was no noticeable noise while running a 200-watt device, but the noise while running the 750-watt device (or larger current) made as much noise as when charging (which is very noticeable).

I have only charged and discharged it 3 times so I can not comment on how long it will last. I intend to use this product as a backup power source while camping in my camper and these values meet my needs and are near the advertised values.

We got fed up with losing power due to hurricanes and “other” reasons in Louisiana. We finally decided to purchase something that would allow us to run our refrigerator, microwave, and a fan or two. This thing does all of that and more.

It only takes about 2 hours to charge (from a standard 110 wall socket). So, we did the math. Even IF we only get 8 hours of use out of it, it only takes 2 hours to charge, food in an unopened fridge easily keeps cold for more than 2 hours without electricity.

So, it’s obvious that this was going to provide what we needed. It turns out that we get WAY MORE than 8 hours of use out of it before needing to recharge. We have run this thing through some rather crazy tests without realizing that we were really testing it.

We’ve used it to run our vacuum for vacuuming our whole house: no problem whatsoever. At one point, we had our fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, oscillating fan, and a couple of phones charging all at the same time on this.

We had forgotten that we didn’t have power in the house! The display is very useful and easy to read. There are some fans that kick in when charging, I’ve not heard them otherwise. I do wish it had enough to run washer and dryer or something like that– but that’s 220 volt stuff.

I know Ecoflow makes a solution that powers your home though your breaker box–looks really awesome, but this unit is not for that kind of thing. Additional reason we bought this: to run full video productions from anywhere.

It easily runs professional 3 camera interview shoots, with 6 lights, 2 computers, 3 monitors, 1 external RAID array, and a couple of confidence monitors. Typically, we only use about 40% of the charge in a day’s use.

The product does have some weight to it. it is a bunch of batteries after all. But it’s easy to carry with the handles and it also fits into common collapsable rolling carts if you want to pull it behind you–which we commonly do.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this item and look forward to using this thing for many, many years. I plan to try to track how well the charge holds over the years. I’ll report back here with any changes in performance or break-down of the product in any way.

This is a smart investment, in my opinion.

There are a lot of these boxes out there and it can be hard to choose from with the tons of options. Ecoflow stands tall above the others with its circuitry design. When you are charging the unit and using the unit simultaneously, it will route the charge power to the demand before it taps into the battery storage.

That is a big deal when it comes to efficiency and longevity. The only downside of Ecoflow units is that they are still using the Li-Ion battery technology. But I would rather have Ecoflows Li-Ion batteries over Bluetti’s circuitry.

It’s not that Bluetti is bad. Ecoflows design is just that much better. P. S. stay clear of the Gucci Prepper youtube channels that want you to buy expensive short-lived portable solar panels for these.

Just use standard rigid/hard panels and save tons of money and get more than twice the life out of your panels.

My brother discovered Catan while in college and introduced it to the family. It quickly replaced the original board/cards games from our childhood, Monopoly, Sorry, Eucher, Uno, etc. 5 years later, it is without question, that everytime we are able to get the family together, we play Catan! The original game has three scenarios, I believe, which I have only recently discovered.

We have only ever played just the original probably unaware of the other scenarios, because the game play is always, always different. It is a game where you will most likely never play the same thing over and over (obviously the concept is played over and over, but the access to resources, ports, dice chances, and development cards make the game play different).

This last Christmas, I purchased the expansion Traders and Barbarians for $60. This expansion also has 3/4 different scenarios to play, including a two player card options. We have loveddd the added game play from this expansion.

There is a mobile app game option for all of Catan Universe. The mobile game is definitely not the same as playing the board option. There is colluding, cheating, game chat harassment, and disproportionate dice rolls.

I am on the Discord server for Catan Universe and the owners/operators do not care nor listen to the ongoing complaints from the users. I would give the mobile app a 2/5 but the board game is definitely 5/5!.

My family loves Settlers of Catan, and this extension pack allows us all to play together. I bought it along with the Catan 5th Edition 4 player game, and the extension matches the rest perfectly. I also bought the Catan Scenarios Helpers of Catan card pack, which makes the game a little more fun.

This game is so interesting and there are so many ways to win. It’s my favorite game to play with family and the kids just love playing it! It’s a great alternative to the other standard games I grew up with.

The game isn’t cheap, but it’s totally worth the investment because you’ll get years of fun for the whole family out of it. You will not be disappointed!.

Currently my favorite board game, getting to this point in my life was not easy though. I hate doing new things, but at first everything is new. So there was a time that I hated everything. When I started to try more things, I started to realize that I don’t hate everything.

I just hate the things I haven’t tried yet. So before I tried Catan, I absolutely hated it. It wasn’t until my sister forced me to play that I realized it was actually my favorite game ever. It took my sister a full day to read and understand the instructions.

When she tried to explain it to me, it was way too much knowledge to take in at once. She was talking for like 20 mins and I have a solid 2 mins of active listening in me before I start to zone out. So the only way I was going to learn this game was through trial and error and there was a whole lot of errors made in the beginning.

The first few times we played, we played it wrong. It wasn’t until my sister re-read the instructions and then had someone else peer review the instructions, that we started to get it. Even when we were playing the incorrect way, I still liked the game.

If you’re like me and hate trying new things, I’d suggest that you continue not trying new things, except for this one game.

Pretty solid. Have used over a dozen flights and has some wear but has held up. Never broken a club. I will say that I’d like to see a few more color choices. The last two airports I’ve been in, someone else also had the royal blue bag and actually took my clubs!! Thankfully I was able to catch them.

Definitely make sure and put your name and a unique identifier on your bag.

I have traveled with my new bag twice on airplane trips and it has held up well. I am glad I got the larger size bag because I can definitely get all my gear with shoes, etc in the bag, and still have a little room (and weight allowance) for some extra clothes if necessary.

No signs of wear after two trips. Easy to haul in/out of the car and through the airport. Stylish, and very protective of my golf clubs.

Five years ago, we bought four travel bags. The cheaper bags tore immediately and needed to be replaced. Our first “Last Bag” remains in excellent condition. These bags cost more but you won’t be replacing them every few years.

They have room for your driver, your shoes, extra balls, and a few extra items (clothes, scuba fins, etc. ). A must for vacation packing.

I purchased the Carry-On Pro and Large luggage pieces in light pink for myself. I was in a hurry to get the bags for a trip and ordered what was available rather than wait for what I really wanted (light pink instead of the darker blue).

After my first trip, when my bags arrived at their final destination they were absolutely filthy! When I returned home, I cleaned them with a damp microfiber towel and a little Dawn dish liquid, and very little came off.

The majority of the scuff marks are going to require some elbow grease to remove, if they come off at all! Hopefully the scuff pad that came with the luggage will remove some. I wanted to exchange my bags once they arrived, and before using, knowing the color wasn’t what I really wanted, but I didn’t read the return policy thoroughly when I bought them.

They are glad to exchange to bags, but the customer is responsible for paying shipping to return them. I’m sure this would have been expensive, and we don’t live near a FedEx or UPS location, so it wouldn’t have been convenient to make this happen.

After returning from our trip, I purchased the luggage covers for both bags since it pains me to have spent so much money on luggage only to have it look like it’s been used for much longer than one trip.

I do like to construction of the new bags, and they’re both pretty lightweight. I did a lot of research of hard side luggage, and these were highly recommended. I just wish I had waited for a darker color.

I realize luggage takes a beating, but I was shocked to see how dirty and scuffed they were after only two flights! My husband ordered the green luggage, so we’ll see how his hold up since he is yet to use his.

I would recommend this luggage, but would suggest people think long and hard about buying a light color. The luggage covers are an option, but some of the reviews for these I read show tears in the plastic, so I will be interested to see how much they really help.

I must say I’m very happy with this suitcase. I purchased the Carry-On Pro for a month-long summertime Europe trip and it did not disappoint. The handle is great and the wheels are smooth even on cobblestone roads.

It did take some general scuffs but they mostly came off with a wipe of a damp cloth. There were some tougher scuffs that did not come off, as mentioned in some previous reviews, but once I returned home I used a green scouring pad and that removed 99% of the scuffs! I also purchased the Monos packing cubes and that made my month-long journey VERY easy.

A lot of clothes can be packed in and I never felt like I didn’t have enough to wear. I don’t think I will check in bags again since so much can go into this suitcase even if you are travelling for 4 weeks.

The one critique is if you do pack the suitcase fully the additional outer section does not allow for packing too much more. It would bulge and there was no way I would pack my laptop or tablet in there.

I would recommend using a backpack for that. Also keep in mind that some low cost airlines like Ryanair can be picky with the size of your carry on luggage so if you are travelling Europe on low-cost flights I would recommend the Carry-On Pro and NOT the Carry-On Pro Plus.

That additional inch could result in you having to check the suitcase and pay a ridiculous fee. I originally purchased the Pro Plus but Monos was super fast at generating a return and sending me the Pro version (although I did it a little under 2 months before my trip).
