Trailer tires for RVs are designed to provide a comfortable ride while hauling a heavy load. They are typically wider than regular passenger tires and have a higher load rating. Some trailer tires also have a reinforced sidewall to help prevent damage from road debris.
20 Best Trailer Tires For Rv
Provider ST205/75R15 Load Range C Trailer Tire (Tire Only)
A dependable radial tire that is perfect for carrying the load on utility trailers, boat trailers, and recreational vehicles.
Can’t say enough good about these tires. Old tires finally went from dry rot. My 5×8 utility trailer used to bounce around all over the place on the original tires when it was empty. Silly me, just thought that was the nature of small utility trailers.
never gave tire balance a second thought! Shopped around for the least expensive tires I could find and purchased these. Not only does the tread look far superior to the traditional trailer tire tread, imagine my surprise when the trailer smoothed out and pulled like a dream even when it was empty! And I didn’t have these tires balanced!! Definitely recommend these tires!.
Purchased these tires in December it is now March and had gone less than 200 miles. One of them developed a knot on the sidewall. Walmart nor the manufacturer are willing to help. The tires have not hit anything and no damage that i can see.
I bought one tire to check it out. First of all the tire came on time. Secondly, the tire looked good. Thirdly, the tire held well under load. What’s still unknown is how long would it last before it dry rots or wear out.
Even though, there are couple unknowns I still gave the tire a five star and ordered four additional tires.
Price does not include tire services, tire disposal fees or any applicable state environmental taxes. Actual tire may vary from displayed image. The Hi Run Boat Trailer 18. 5X8. 50-8 6 Ply Boat Trailer Tire is an ideal replacement for avid trailer users.
It meets all required OEM specifications for a trailer tire. This Hi Run trailer tire (tire only) provides strength, durability and safety.
Needed for high speed snowmobile trailering. This is the tire you need. Be careful this size also comes in off road low speed version for lawn tractors. Wish they had it on rims but it is extremely hard to find so i put my hands on one while i could.
One. As in only one per store in neighboring 3 counties. Expensive but i have it Vs. Waiting online til ?August??? I suggest covering your tires from sunlight so they last longer than 6 years. They may not be available the next time as snowmobile trailers no longer use this size.
This seems to be a good quality tire. It holds air well and rolls well. It does not say “Not for highway service,” so it is meant to work, which it did well for me. It replaced a far inferior tire on a trailer which was then used to haul a hay tedder.
The Sport Trail tire features a radial look with bias construction. The tread profile and formulation creates lower rolling resistance. Often used for towable utility and boat trailers, the Sport Trail tire is long-lasting for a safe travel.
Good value trailer tires. Load Range F are higher than E. Size is 205/65-10. These are rated for 1650lbs, each tire and max air pressure is 110lbs psi. I ordered these to replace the old trailer tires on my Acme EZ-Tow tow dolly.
I do not think they made load range F trailer tires when my dolly was made but it has a capacity that carry a higher load than the E range tires. Tires ordered and delivered to Walmart are mounted free.
I did pay for old tire disposal and new quality valve stems so about $6-8? total. I assume these 10″ tires could be balanced but it was not offered and old tires were not balanced from factory. Walmart told me they would not put the proper air pressure in for whatever reason.
Do not run these low on air as it eats the outside of tire up if you use them underinflated and any tire will age faster if left lower than max air and sitting for long time, especially on dirt.
I thought tires were suppose to be round. These are the worst formed tires I have ever seen. The last set of these exact tires I bought were round. These tires are triangle in shape. At least the caveman had four sides to make it roll a little better.
I have these on my Cyclemate 2000 enclosed trailer that’s designed to be pulled by a Harley or Goldwing, but I tow it with a Miata. The trailer only weighs 135 lbs empty, but with another 100-120 of cargo, tracks very well with these tires.
I pulled it with the Miata through the Tail of the Dragon (Hwy 129 in the western NC mountains – 318 turns in 11 miles), and almost didn’t notice it back there. The other Miata drivers noted how smoothly the trailer tracked the Miata.
We traveled nine hours to get to the ToTD at 70-75 mph, and the tires rolled smoothly without any heat buildup. I’ll buy these again.
Whether for work or for play, this dependable trailer tire featuring Durawall technology is designed to help you tow with confidence Optimized tread depth and decoupling groove help tire remain cool while towing heavy loads.
Specialized inner liner minimizes air loss in trailer application because of 100% halo butyl rubber. Durawall Technology helps resist sidewall cuts and punctures. Rugged fabric-steel construction offers improved durability and carrying capacity while remaining compatible with tire pressure monitoring systems and typical tire inflation stations.
Scuff Guard helps shield tire sidewall from natural wear and tear.
In store was told that I would have to order on line and have tires delivered to store. Did this. On line was told that shipment had been delayed but that was not the case. Tires were in the store. On line was told that this store did not install these tires.
This was also not the case. Had tires balanced and installed at this store with no problems. Took about 2 hours but on a very busy day. Tires and service were great although balancing was a little pricey.
Recently called and spoke with a sales rep regarding the sidewall ply construction on the 10 ply tread Endurance tire. He insisted he could not give me that information. After a discussion he insisted he could only give me a “sidewall ply rating”.
Then i asked for a ply rating that was acceptable for a RV trailer tire. He then did not have that information available as to what numerical rating is “good” for that style of use for the tire. Obviously the sidewall ply is VERY important on any tire construction.
Don’t think my question was too extreme; and as such will not do business with this company.
These are the most durable long lasting trailer tires in this size I can find and Ive tried many! They have 6 mph speed advantage over the next best and better traction, wear longer, greater puncture resistance, and greater resistance to weather.
And theyre the last made in USA Goodyear needs to hear us when we say made in USA is a recognizable difference we are willing to pay for We do not see the longevity and durability in those tire models made elsewhere whether it be by design or build quality.
I now have Goodyear Endurance tires on all 3 of the trailers I own and they all travel long miles ( regularly seeing 2000 mile round trips ) Thank you Goodyear for building the tire and thank you Discount Tire Direct for selling it at affordable cost and shipping fast!.

These are my second set of Carlisle 145/R12 tires for my landscape / ATV trailer. The first pair lasted over 10 years. This tire has lots of tread and great load capacity. I will only buy 145/R12 tires for my trailer.
Those 4. 80 and 5. 30 tires don’t come close to these tires in quality or tread. The 145/R12 tires are rated for 1/3 more weight than the other two. Great buy!.
10 Ply ??? Tire stamped 2 ply sidewall and tread is 2 ply polyester and 2 ply steel. Also a Load range C per marking. Elsewhere it is stamped Extra Load – does that make it a Load Range E? Why isn’t this information included in the description? Will be returning.
Travelstar HF288 – The Travelstar HF288 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. It should not be mounted on light trucks. The constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, which ensures a safer towing performance.
The reinforced structure enhances the load capacity, while also protecting the tire from external damage during the drive. The HF288 boosts the all weather traction and the hydroplaning prevention with the ideal tread design and the all season compound Features Durability ” The stronger construction boosts the load durability and the damage resistance, increasing the overall load capacity.

I needed to replace the 3 tires on my 17 ft I/O boat trailer. The old tires and the spare were old, splitting and dry rotted. I saw these tires on sale at Walmart. com and they were also the best priced tires that I found online.
There was free shipping and mounting, so I went for it. These tires appear to be very well made. Manufacture date was recent, side walls seem designed and strong enough to hold the weight of my boat and trailer, and the treads are deep.
Tires are slightly more narrow than my old tires, but I have no issues with that. Shipping was fast and it took maybe an hour for the local Walmart to install them on my rims. I have since pulled the trailer a few miles to the local dock and back with no issues.
I keep the boat within a 75 mile radius or less of home and I think these tires will hold up just fine for my needs. These in my opinion, are a good inexpensive trailer tire and would not hesitate to buy again.
Price was very good so I took a chance. These tires have deep tread, are excellent quality and had no blems. Much Better than Expected! The pair had matching date codes only a couple months old. Mounted up to rims very easily.
Walmart description states the selected tire is 8-ply. Tire is actually is actually 6-ply (4 plies on tread, 2 plies on sidewall). Contacted Travelstar’s parent company prior to purchase and they told me this tire is manufactured in Thailand.
wrong again. they are made in China. On my way to my local Walmart to return. Another week lost of my project thanks to Walmart’s lack of attention to detail.
The Transeagle ST Radial II is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is Not Meant to Be Mounted on Light Trucks, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles.
It can Only Be Mounted on Trailers. The tire promotes great controllability throughout its performance. The tread’s symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface and increases the model’s steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
This enables the tire to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while stabilizing the structure against the driving and load pressure affecting the model.
As a result, the tire makes the trailer easily controllable, making the towing vehicle’s job easier. The tread design features a symmetric ribbed pattern that maintains the tire’s ideal road contact.
The optimal road contact upgrades the length of the tread life as it evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids the formation of irregular tread wear on the tire’s surface.
This enables the tire to be used for a longer period of time, offering a more cost-efficient performance. The ST Radial II upgrades the tire’s load handling capability. The model features a reinforced steel belt construction that keeps the tire’s ideal shape under the pressure.
The heavy load pressure does not deform the tire’s optimal shape, which enables the tire to carry and withstand large loads with ease during its performance. The better load handling durability upgrades the tire’s versatile application.
Appears to be a good tire at a reasonable price. Just put the tire on in preparation for a 600 mile trip so can’t really speak much about it yet, will see how it performs in a few days! Only reason for 4 stars is it doesn’t appear to have quite as wide of tread pattern as the same size tire on the other side but it’s also a different brand so guess that can be expected.
But I can say communication and shipping times were excellent!.
I ordered my I ordered my trailer from these folks. It was very easy and fast delivery and they had great communication with me via email. I received my tire and took it up to Walmart and had them install it on my wheel and it was only $15.
The tires on my boat trailer failed completely after less than 2,000 miles. I purchased the Transeagle tires after reading reviews. I have had them a month and have not trailered my boat. They look good but at this point I can’t rate their quality.
This model cannot be used on light trucks. The constant road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, making the towing vehicles job easier. The stronger internal structure improves the load carrying and handling capability, without allowing the optimal shapes deformation.
The All Steel ST Radial ensures excellent all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance with the optimal tread design.
After several calls to Priority Tire a friend and I each ordered 4ea of the above tires. My friend paid to have his tires mounted and ballanced. They averaged 13 oz of weights and all four failed the Road Force test that showed them out of ballance and unsafe.
Between the two of us we’ve made at least a dozen calls to Priority Tire and each time have requested to speak to a supervisor but we have not spoken to one yet. My first call to Priority Tire I spoke to Robby B.
and he told me that they had been have a lot of problems with these tires but was no help. I’ve called other dealers and they don’t handle this tire any longer because of this problem. Don’t waste your time or money with this company.
I hope that these tires will work with the wheels I already have. I didn’t notice anywhere in the original advertising, the Warning: Requires special high load capacity wheel, which I noticed only after having them mounted and was putting them on my RV Travel Trailer.
Although the RV dealer thinks that the wheels will be adequate, I haven’t received a reply from the Wheel distributor or Priority Tire. Also these tires are very difficult to balance due to the unevenness of the tread.
One of the four could not be balanced without excessive weight. There are visibly uneven, very noticeable when spinning on the balance machine. Haven’t yet had them on the road so can only hope they even out, run smoothly and wear evenly.
Tires were delivered much faster than I would have expected. Had them mounted same day. Used the trailer next day for 383 mile trip at max gvw. Trailer tracked well and no problems with tires. I make this same trip regularly and did notice a.
6 mpg increase in fuel economy for truck. The load range F tires were higher load range than I had been running. I think they are better fit for the trailer. As the combined rating of the tires now exceeds the weight of the trailer.
The manufacturer claimed hitch weight could be subjected to come up with what trailer tires needed to be rated for. Hope they hold up long term.
For excellent performance and reliability on long treks with your trailer, choose the Hi-Run JK42 radial trailer tire. It’s built for long life and heavy towing capacity. The tread helps channel water away from the tire for strong grip in wet weather.
Sutong Tire Resources PM1002 Service Trailer Radial ST225/75R15 – 10 Ply Radial construction and variable pitch design promotes tire stability and reduces excessive heat build-up, increasing tire life.
Tire profile and tread compound formulation create lower rolling resistance and increased fuel mileage. Equipped with the DuraTrail high strength belt package and HeatShield heat resistant compounding technologies.
A proven leader both in field tests and by independent laboratory testing.
Always liked these tires which where on my boat trailer for seven years. They hardly had any wear on them and no problems. I tow about 200 miles in one direction many times a year and just replaced them just for piece of mind due to the age.
Good tires seems that every time I purchase a tire this site its late or not good and they had to refund or upsell to more expensive brand they did match up price though and give millitary personel a discount.
Keep everything rolling smoothly with the Provider ST235/80R16 LRE Tire. It is suitable for carrying the load on recreational vehicles and more. This trailer tire features double polyester cord and double steel belt construction for top performance.
In addition, there is a nylon tread belt overlay for a long life, and it is designed for highway use. This radial tire includes siping to channel water effectively, and it meets DOT specifications.
I purchased this tire as a spare to match the 4 tires on my trailer. They are rated to be very good trailer tires by etrailer. com and the supplier that sold me the other 4 which were mounted on wheels.
I spoke to the company Taskmaster also before buying these tires about the specs and warranty and it is their top of the line trailer tire. These tires are also speed rated higher than most trailer tires.
Only time will tell but they seem to be good quality with heavy sidewalls. The single I bought from Walmart was a great deal and free shipping to my house.
Happy that I stumbled across these, during my search for the best price! I’ve done a ton of research for new tires for my 38′ 5th Wheel and I can’t believe that other online vendors are selling this same tire for almost $120.
I figured the manufactured sidewall casting would of had these at a few years old; not at all, only 15 weeks(4818). Thank you Walmart!.
I have a 34 foot gooseneck enclosed car carrier. Fully loaded is about 16,000 lbs. I put 8000 miles going from Boston to Northern California zig zaging up and down each way. Even across days of 120 degree deserts with road temps of about 150.
Tires stayed at 130. No problems or major wear. They are the best as far as I can say.
Introducing Hankook’s all new trailer tire, the Vantra Trailer ST01. The specific design of its tread provides improved grip and increased control in all road conditions. Highly rigid blocks are optimized to carry more load.
The maximized decoupling of the grooves prevents the generation of heat caused by the transport of heavy loads.
I replaced my “no name” travel trailer tires due to serious concerns about their quality. I wanted to go with tires made by a reputable company at the very least. My choices ended up being Maxxis, Carlisle, Goodyear and now recently these Hankooks.
While still being made in China the quality is there. Another big plus for me is the ‘N’ speed rating. Overall I can’t say too much as I’ve driven about 1000km on them in dry summer weather. So far they are doing rather well.
They handle well and absorb Provincial Park road bumps well. The Vantras appear to ride a little softer than my old tires at the same pressure. The ratings the site hear gives are more for vehicle tires not trailers so, for example, I have no idea how they would handle in the snow.
As for canadawheels. They shipped quickly and I received the tires in good order. Would do business with them again.
So far so good! Tires arrived ahead of schedule. Had the tires mounted and balanced and they are now on my Airstream trailer. I bought these to replace a set of Goodyear Endurance trailer tires (OEM tires) that came on my 2020 Airstream 30RBT Globetrotter.
I fully expect good service from these Hankook tires. I will update this review in the future following putting some mileage on the tires.
I purchased 4 hankook vantra trailer tires for my boat trailer. I searched high and low for the best price, including a priority tire coupon code, these were a great deal. Fast FedEx shipping, I received the tires in (4) days including a weekend.
All of the tires arrived with a date code that was only a few months old. Great purchasing experience, I look forward to buying replacement tires for my truck from PT as well !!!.
Carry your loads with ease with the Taskmaster Provider Trailer Tire, ST205/75R14. It features a highly-durable design with advanced tread technology. The Provider ST205/75R14 has a double-polyester cord body and double-steel belt construction that provides a smooth and efficient ride.
Bake-tested with a nitrogen/oxygen mixture to ensure long life, its unique tread pattern and siping provide excellent water channeling. This tire is created for trailers only and not intended for use on other vehicles.
All Taskmaster tires feature roadside assistance and are ideal for highway usage. The Taskmaster Provider tire also meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS119 safety standards.
These tires look great. They get good reviews on Amazon and E-Trailer. But they are LOTS cheaper from Walmart. The same tires are going elsewhere for more than double the price. The date code shows the tires I got about 1 year old.
I suspect Walmart has them marked down to move them before they get too old that some people won’t want them. Old tires are an issue, but I think a year sitting in a warehouse is not nearly as hard on a tire as one sitting in the sun.
So I am not worried about 1 year old. I have had trailer tire last anywhere from 12 to 18 years. But having had some blowouts, I will now start replacing around 10 years old and do better at keeping them covered.
I bought these tires because of the reviews and am very happy I did. I had a blowout with an older tire and needed to buy replacements. I have a large utility trailer (6×12) and wanted something reliable not just ok.
After driving and watching and checking on my tires for my first trip with these tires I was able to take a breathe and feel confident I choose the right tires for my trailer.
Solid tire. Pull my boat trailer about 1000 miles a year. Normally the tires age to death instead of wear out. These tires support more weight than my normal tires at less than half the price. \nOnly negative is they are made in China, but the quality is good.
Transeagle ST Radial II – The Transeagle ST Radial II is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. The constant road contact upgrades the controllability as the ribbed pattern boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
The reinforced steel belt construction upgrades the load and driving durability without allowing the tires shape to deform under the pressure affecting it. The ST Radial II extends the tread life and the tires usability by preventing irregular tread wear formations along the tread area.
FeaturesHandling ” The ribbed patterns maintained road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. Durability ” The reinforced steel belt construction enhances the load and driving durability without allowing the shape to deform.
Longer Tread Life ” The symmetric ribbed tread design upgrades the length of the tread life by preventing irregular tread wear formations.
I ordered this for a small trailer and it was received un-damaged and in great condition. Holds air and does what it was made for. As for long term wear and tare I have not used it to haul anything as of yet.
I will re-post a new review as soon as I have some miles on the tire.
The transeagle st radial is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. this tire is not meant to be mounted on light trucks, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles.
I recently purchased a used trailer and the first thing I noticed was the tires on the right side were worn unevenly on the inside of the tire, badly, like bald on the inside and normal tread on the outside of the tire.
The trailer had the same brand tire all around. The worn set on the right were date stamped 2021 and the set on the left, which appear to be fairly new and wearing normally, so far, are date stamped 2022.
Being I recently purchased the trailer, I don’t know how many miles were on the left or right set of tires. I bought the set (3 runners and 2 spare) of Transeagle tire to replace the worn set on the right side.
I’m running these tires a 50′ trip axel race trailer that weighs in at 18,000 lbs fully loaded. After getting the new Transeagles on the trailer, I took it over to our local trailer repair shop and asked them to check the alignment of the axels.
I was informed that with torsion suspension axles, there is no alignment to be done, they are bolted in place with no adjustment available. If the trailer had been run overloaded, I would expect to see the same wear on each side.
My trailer expert said he has seen this before and it usually turns out to be a “bad set of tires”. Really? Well, OK then. Now that I have a new set of identical size and load rating (G) set of Transeagles on one side of my trailer and what appears to be a new set of competitive tires on the left side I will be able to compare ride and wear performance.
On that note, I did have the opportunity to pull the trailer 12K lbs load 500 miles from Flagstaff to Tucson and back on a turn and burn and I did seem to think the Transeagles run a little cooler through the desert on a non-scientific hand touch test (all wheel bearings recently inspected, tested and re -greased).
Oh, and did I mention the Transeagles were $50 cheaper per tire than the closest competitive option? Did I also mention I had the tires within 4 days and with FREE shipping? I’m putting A LOT of trust into these tires with a $400K total investment riding on top of them.
We should be putting around 20K miles per year on these tires so I should know how they perform compared to the competitive options on the other side within the next 12 months. I know what you’re thinking, with that kind of investment and travel, why not just go with a name brand tire, when you’re running in the Ultra4 off-road race circuit, every penny counts.
I have these on another trailer that hauls stone and scrap steel. They hold up very well, ride well, and are stable going down the road. I have had bad luck with lower cost tires failing, always at a bad time.
Low cost tires will cost you more when they fail and you lose control or when they destroy your fenders.
235 85 R16 G All Steel Radial Trailer Tire M speed rated QUICK delivery. Excellent Price. This is the third time I have purchased this brand and size of tire. Have some on my 5th wheel RV for a couple of years, no problems.
Just installed 4 on my 14k lb. goose neck. They run very cool, track real nice, balance out good. Jury is still out on how long they will last. Never found a good heavy duty trailer tire no matter the price or where it was made.
These are reasonably priced and appear to be quality so far. Have 10,000 highway miles on the RV set. and about 1500 on the most recent set. Will buy more for my other trailers if they continue to provide good service.
The Mastertrack UN-203 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for special trailers. This tire is not meant to be used on light trucks. The tread design and tire compound firmly grip the road surface and enhance the traction in dry, wet and winter weather.
The ribbed tread design enhances the steering responsiveness to the towing vehicle, and stabilizes the tire structure to increase its ability to be towed. The UN-203 has excellent durability with the strengthened internal structure that maintains the optimal tire shape.
I was shopping for tires that matched what I already have on my boat trailer so that I wouldn’t have to change all four. When I did a Google search I found them here!! They weren’t in stock but I did have them shipped to me for free!! Walmarts price was so good that I purchased four new ones instead of just the two I needed to replace.
Very fast service and mounting was included. All I had to pay for extra was valve stems and disposal fee.
TIRES ARRIVED QUICKLY. HAD THEM INSTALLED ON TRAVEL TRAILER BY MOBILE TIRE INSTALLER WHO SAID THESE TIRES WERE A GOOD PICK. HE EVEN HAD THEM ON HIS TRAILER. AFTER INSTALL, THEY LOOK AMAZING ON THE TRAILER.
I HAVE NOT DRIVEN ON THEM YET SO CANNOT COMMENT ON WEAR AND DURABILITY BUT FROM OTHER COMMENTS, LOOKS LIKE THEY WILL LAST FOR A WHILE.
When the tire arrived the date code showed it was 2 years old. Most trailer tires for heavy boats only have a lifespan of 5 to 6 years. A tire that arrives that is 2 years old has a third of its lifespan used up already.
It’s not the tread wear out but the sidewall strength that dissipates with age.
My first few calls to Priority Tire, I waited for more than 45 minutes to talk with an agent. Just awful. When I finally made my tire purchase, Priority Tire staff said they would arrive in 3-4 days by Fed Ex.
That was not accurate. It took 6 days, and alot of personal effort by me to finally locate and retrieve the tires. Never again.
The ST200 tire, is ST-rated for trailer use with a construction thats designed for heavy loads carried at a higher center of gravity. Recognizing the steady growth in the trailer segment, people buy more boats, campers, motorcycles, ATVs, Side-by-Sides and other recreational items as well as existing trailer use for construction, landscaping and commercial activities.
Nearly all of these trailers are pulled by a vehicle that fits the target niche of Atturos AZ, CV and Trail Blade series tires. Owners of these vehicles now have a trusted tire brand they can add to their trailer, creating another opportunity for dealers and distributors to capitalize on the Atturo brand for this valuable segment.
Good price and fast delivery but not sure about the tire quality. Atturo trailer tire stamp says made in China on this purchase (a previous Atturo truck tire says made in Taiwan). One of my trailer tires has bulging sidewall after mounting, so my 3 star rating is fairly generous.
I had a little trouble at first because the Apple Pay did not work at checkout, but used another card and wala. Shipping was fast and they notified you of the tracking ten ways from Sunday. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase from Priority Tire.
The TransmasterEVspecial trailer tire is designed to handle a variety of towing applications. It’s rubber compound is specially formulated to help resist wear and provide a longer tread life. Supported by a solid radial design of both nylon and steel plies, it’sengineered for less rolling resistance and a smooth towing experience.
Affordably priced, the Transmaster EV is a great value without sacrificing performance. Available in a variety of sizes for fitments on travel trailers, toy haulers, boat and horse trailers, and many other trailer applications.
I have used his type of tire before. The tread depth of this tire is deeper than other trailer tires. That gives you more rubber and longer life. The load and speed rating are good. Ordered 4 tires and was shipped in sets of 2.
Both sets arrived at my house the same day on the same truck. Had free mounting at my local Walmart. Paid extra to have them balanced, new valve steams and old tire disposal fee. I recommend a balance to make tires last longer and not bounce around as this eats the rubber and destroys the tire.
The tires are cheaper priced, but dot let that fool you, they are well made. I am very happy with the tires and will buy them again.
Ordered from walmart. com. the price was good. It took about a week to be delivered. I took them to our local Walmart where they mounted and balanced and installed them on the trailer. They mounted for free but charged for balance and new stems.
Three days later put 250 miles on them and they did fine.
This is my 2nd purchase of these tires, (each purchase was 4 tires, so 8 total tires) so I clearly am happy with tire value. (First set of 4 was purchased about 8 months ago, and that trailer has been across the country, twice, and showing good durability.
) So, I bought some more for the next trailer. The shipping process was a disaster. Wal-Mart used Fed-Ex for the shipping, and tendered the tires to Fed-Ex in a reasonable timeframe. After that, the tracking and movement of the products by Fed-Ex seemed to be controlled by a 3-year old.
Sure, when you are purchasing the tires, they give you a delivery window. Once the products are in the hands of the shipper, the shipper should have a reasonably accurate ETA. I ordered 2 sets – (4 tires), the tires arrived on different days, 4 days apart, but tracking listed both sets as “delivered” when the first set arrived.
Wal-Mart said to wait 48 hrs to see if the other set arrived, then when I contacted them, they said again to wait until the end of the estimate window. Tires are fine, Fed-Ex/shipping are horrible, so just be prepared for Fed-Ex to mess it up.
