It is one of the neatest toys I have ever seen. My grandson is four and he plays with it every day. We even bought a second set so he can hook all the track together and run two cars at once. He puts obstacles underneath the track and over objects so the cars go up and down.

Lots of fun! GIRLS love playing with it, very easy to play with and enjoyable for ages 2y/o to 10 y/o (63 y/o Gramp too). Some very clever innovations throughout the design. Engineering is tops, presentation, laser cutting, wood quality, all excellent. It took about 15-20 hours for me to assemble the kit, but I’m an old man and I took my time to make the experience worthwhile.
I have immediately ordered the new Cobra presentation and look forward to the assembly. I did make two non-fatal errors during assembly that I discovered quickly and corrected. Part of the fun. Truly a great modeling experience.
Parts were cut well and fitted together but the cocktail sticks supplied for the kit were too small and did not enable the kit to be fixed together properly. I had to buy a separate lot of cocktail sticks to be able to assemble the kit.
This may sound trivial but the kit relies heavily on cocktail sticks in its construction and did not work with the sticks provided. In other kits I have had from Ugears the sticks have been 2mm diameter and the holes have matched perfectly these were just cheap nasty irregular shaped sticks not even round in section.
Shame as this has put me off buying any further kits.
Wanted a kit that looked good and provided something different to other plastic offerings. It over achieved this requirement easily. Parts are perfectly cut and presented with clear instruction booklet.
Quality is fantastic. The challenge of assembly keeps you focused and is rewarding as you build and test a fully functioning engine and gearbox (even before you tackle the rest of the car). Displaying the finished model is a natural progression from hanging your planes from the ceiling with fishing wire when you were a kid starting out.
Met all expectations and more from start to finish. No glue, no screws just lots of patience with a level of problem solving added for good measure. At the 36 I paid, it feels like an absolute bargain.

I am giving this a 3 star because really it does not do exactly what you see on television. The tracks don’t really glow in the dark. The little car can’t climb has high has my child would like. The car is automatic and lights up so that’s a great feature.
The tracks can also be taken apart so that’s also a bonus.
Racetrack was what I expected. However a couple of days after I received it a woman called my home and accused me of hacking her credit card. As this unfolds it is becoming clear Walmart charged my credit card and then charged this woman for the same order.
I was skeptical when I purchased these (3 of them) but I am so glad I did. They were back-ordered on T. V. with no date given so I picked them up at Walmart for the holidays to give the grandkids (and apparently the adults) something new to play with! The ages ranged from 3 to adult and they played non-stop with this for days.
Even our littlest (the baby) sat in the middle of the track and enjoyed watching the cars as they went by. Easy to configure new shapes to the track, put obstacles under the track for the cars to have hills to go over, turn off the lights and watch the cars run in the dark.
they loved it! The cars started to slow (battery life drained) after about 4 days of constant use, pretty good in my book. The only thing that didn’t live up to the hype was the “glow in the dark” track.

When I was younger, me and my uncle(same age as me) would play with the Hot Wheels 🔥 almost everyday. With multiple Hot Wheels 🔥 and our imagination we could play for hours. We’d build a city and we would take our turns, we’d pick a car and that would be the mayor’s car and we’d just use each Hot Wheels 🔥 and designate as someone our something.

I usually pay $1. 25 per vehicle when I purchase them separately so I think these larger packs are a better deal, especially when you get up in the larger quantities (20, & 50). Hey all hope you are safe and well out there. Added a second Slash to the team while putting my 2 Rustlers up on ebay. In my opinion you have to go 4×4 and the Slash brushless is the perfect starting point.
They are fast, durable, versatile, and responsive. We do more off than on-road so adding the Proline 117012 trencher tires is our first upgrade along with LIPO batteries. If you plan on bashing even a little bit be sure to have spare TRA6852X and TRA6851X driveshafts on hand (6451 and 6452 steel versions if you really go hard with jumps).
Pick up a couple of Traxxas 5119 Ball Bearings since you may lose them when you lose the driveshafts. In summary – get out there safely – have some fun and make some memories with one of the best RC 1/10 4X4s available today.
This item had everything bundled and saved me a lot of time hunting around for steering links and bellcranks. The only thing I had to add was bearings because the stock unit has plastic bushings that will wear and create slop.
Word of advice wear eye protection if swapping the bushings for bearings. Once you pop the top bushing on the spring side the collar will shoot off because the bushing presses some prongs outward to hold it in place.
Otherwise this is a great buy if upgrading your slash to an LCG version with updated steering. In my case I was converting a Stampede and that’s why I wanted the all in one setup.
