20 Best Tote Bags For Women (2023 Updated)

I bought this bag in black during the 40% off sale Kate Spade is currently having. It’s honestly, however, worth the full price. First off, it looks super sleek and elegant from the outside. But what really sold me was it’s interior.

You have 3 sections to the bag and lots of neat organizational compartments. There’s even a slot for pens! I can easily fit my umbrella, wallet, toiletry bag, pens, phone, legal pads, and laptop. Because the bag is so cleverly designed, I can quickly grab whatever I need.

My former go-to purse, like most tote bags, was just one big empty bag. Not fun to go through to find the one thing you need, especially when you’re in a rush. Do yourself a favor and snag this bag while you can! You will not regret it!.

I love this bag! I have been looking for a good work tote for years and they usually just don’t have enough pockets. But this one has tons of pockets and makes it easy to organize everything! The only complaint I have for this one is that the shape of the bag is too narrow on the top, which makes it a bit difficult for carrying things like a water bottle, etc.

Also, I’m hoping the leather on the slip pockets will stretch out a bit, as the way they are stacked, the smaller front pockets are sort of useless if there is something in the pockets behind them because they are so tight.

I carry this bag to work daily and also traveled to a conference with it last week and it was great. It sat very nicely on top of my 360 rolling carry-on for easily moving though the airport and I was able to wheel both down the aisle of the plane in front of me without having a bag on my shoulder, bumping into folks.

Had to purchase a new bag for work and I picked this one for the laptop sleeve and multiple compartments (it was also on sale). The latch can be finicky if you overfill the bag and the pouch nearest you is a bit exposed, but it’s good for reaching in and quickly grabbing your phone or sunglasses.

There are other zipped compartments where you can store items if you need extra security (while traveling, for prescriptions, etc). It was certainly an investment, even on sale, but I purchased knowing I’d be using it almost daily with the hope that the leather will wear nicely over time.

I have two other leather Kate Spade bags purchased over a decade ago and they’ve held up well so I expect this one will too.

I am so happy with this tote. I bought it to use as my new work bagand used it for the first time on a work trip. It fit perfectly under the seat on the airplane, sat well on top of my carry-on, and held everything I needed.

Plus it is gorgeous and high quality like you would hope from Fossil. I got a single letter embossed and enjoy how subtle it is. On the down side, the color is more reddish than I expected. Also, the long strap doesn’t expand long enough to be crossbows, which would be nice for travel.

I am a size 10, 5’5″ and when I put strap cross body, the bag sits at basically dead center of my torso. So, it looks very silly. Over all, it is a gorgeous and functional bag.

This was my first Fossil bag. I went into the store with my daughter back in Nov 2021 so she could purchase a watch. I saw this bag and immediately fell in love. I went home and pondered about it for about 3 days before returning to buy it.

Fast forward to now, Jan 2022 and the outside pocket is coming unstitched. I have barely owned this bag 60 days and it’s falling apart. I have paid $$$$ for bags (LV, etc). I would expect a bit more from Fossil.

This will be my first and last bag from Fossil.

When I first opened this bag it took me a little time to decide to keep it. It seemed a little larger and stiffer than I wanted. However, the more I use it the prettier it becomes! It’s a perfect size for me because I can carry files and my planner and use it as a purse too.

Great quality, the short straps are perfect to slide over my wrist and the strap is a perfect length for a shoulder bag. I know some thing the strap should be longer to work as a cross-body but I don’t see this bag as working that way.

I really like it and find the size, length of short and long straps as perfect. Perfect structure with just enough slouch to keep it from being rigid. Colors are great for fall/winter Love suede for a change!.

TL;DR: I went to a Tory Burch store in Vancouver to get the Robinson tote bag and ended up making the mistake of getting this bag instead. This bag destroyed my 13″ MacBook Pro and wanted a laptop bag to protect (hence wanting the tote bag.

) Firstly, I went in store to get the Robinson tote bag that is currently available online and was told that it isn’t a current product since it wasn’t in stock at the store. the sales associate told me that there was no way to get the bag in Canada and kept insisting that the Robinson tote bag doesn’t exist.

This was incorrect information and if the associate didn’t even fact check before insisting I was wrong. A simple search of the Tory Burch website would have shown this. I asked him to check and he straight up told me I was wrong without checking.

Secondly, I was advised to get this as a laptop bag instead by the sales associate in store. He insisted that it would protect my laptop. This is a friendly PSA that this bag will only protect your laptop if you put a neoprene sleeve on it first, which really defeats the purpose of the dedicated laptop compartment.

which is a joke because a 13″ newer thin MacBook doesn’t fit in the pocket with a neoprene sleeve on. Additionally, the zipper at the top of the compartment is very large and sharp. My wrist grazed the zipper while trying to safely remove my MacBook and I ended up with a white line of broken skin down my forearm from where the zipper had lightly rubbed.

A zipper like this will definitely wreck your laptop, mess up your cuticles, and will overall be a bad time if you expect it to be anything more than a compartment for odds and ends like your keys. Now onto the devastating part of this review.

There is no way to get a newer thin 13″ MacBook model in to the compartment without the zippers scratching the sides. When I put my 13″ MacBook Pro into the bag, with the zipper fully undone, just simply putting the laptop into the device resulted in an alarmingly loud scratching noise.

I needed a second person to help me get the laptop out without touching the zippers as there was no way to remove a laptop with two hands since the zipper design is so snug. Once it was finally out, I was able to inspect the damage.

It left deep scratches in my previously un-scuffed top of the line Macbook Pro. Honestly this bag would be a lot more useful if the zipper was at the top for all compartments and then remove the zipper from the laptop compartment.

Or even if there was just a zipper on the top and no laptop compartment. The only thing the middle compartment is good for is scuffing your laptop up more than if there was no compartment for it at all.

If it matters to you, this tote bag sits fairly open width-wise while on and would be incredibly easy to pick pocket due to the lack of anything closing it or holding it in at any point. I wouldn’t even remotely recommend this laptop for anybody who uses the subway or similar in any major city.

There are no pockets in this tote even though there are in totes for the same price. A lot of what I was looking for in this bag was an elevated tech tote for work to protect my MacBook Pro and instead I ended up with a useless tote that wrecked my laptop just gently putting it in the designated pocket.

I know this is one of the less expensive bags but honestly this really needs to be done better or should not be advertised as a bag for laptops. After this happened, I also had the joy of finding out that the price of this bag literally costs less than repairing the damage it caused to my laptop.

I’m very pleased with my new Tory Burch Perry Triple-Compartment Tote Bag! I got the blue one which is perfect for warmer days. It goes with any outfit I wear because of its subtle color and simple but beautiful and functional design.

It’s lightweight and there’s plenty of space inside. The zippered pocket in the middle is an added bonus. I keep my more important stuff in there and don’t worry about them falling off or missing. I’ve been using it almost everyday since I got it and haven’t seen any tears or stitching problems yet.

It’s high quality and definitely well-made! If you’re like me who like to carry a lot of stuff when they go out or travel, this tote is a must have! Received lots of compliments too!.

I purchased this tote in the light umber color. It is so luxurious and beautiful. I have an older Perry tote from many years ago and there are lots of improvements in this model. The center compartment is large and has open pockets on each side.

I love to put my phone and sunglasses in the open pockets for easy access. Also, the center compartment is sewn into the bottom of the bag, so your items won’t shift from one side to the other side of the tote.

It keeps things nice and organized. I am very impressed with this bag and am thinking about getting the small Perry tote in another color. It’s that good!.

I love the Tangier Paisley pattern of this beautiful, large tote! It reminds me of eggplant with its beautiful colors! It is very professional looking and roomy to use as a work bag, with lots of space for my 11 x 14″ legal sized plastic envelope containing about a half inch of papers that I carry with me, my sweater, and snacks.

It also has room for a laptop if someone wanted to carry a laptop in it. I use the zippered pocket in the front for my eye drops (for dry eye syndrome) and anti-acid pills. One of the features I most love is the hidden secret pocket on top – I keep my sunglasses in there.

No more forgetting my sunglasses on my desk at work at the end of the day! Also, for my 20 minute walks to and from work, I am sometimes in bright sunlight and sometimes in the shade of tall buildings and I can just take off the sunglasses and slip them in the hidden pocket on top if I am in a shady area, or take them out to put on in a sunlit area.

I also like it that the tote bag is water resistant for a light rain, and I put it in the protective plastic cover it came in if there is a sudden downpour during my 20 minute walks. I would also like to mention that I bought the Campus Backpack a few months ago, also in Tangier Paisley and love that also – but this tote is a bit smaller and less bulky, so it is better for my 20 minutes walks to and from work.

But I have other uses for the Campus Backpack. Both the Tote bag and the Campus backpack are absolutely gorgeous, and both can be used for work, travel, school – many uses. I know I will have many happy years of using both!.

I ordered this bag to replace a Thirty-one bag that is peeling on the inside leaving pieces all over everything I carry. I use it to carry my swimming stuff to the YMCA so want waterproof. I have a few Vera Bradley bags and love them but this is a new fabric for me.

I struggled with picking the right size. This is bigger than I estimated but it is still great. I love the material. It is thick and sturdy without the applied layer on the inside which is the problem with my current bag.

This one should last a long time. The print is beautiful. Being dark I don’t anticipate any problem keeping it clean, while the pastel print keeps a touch of femininity. The inner net pocket on the inside is big enough to hold my phone, keys, and jewelry keeping it easy to find.

The outer pocket is almost hidden and waterproof. It is very big and zips closed. That pocket works great for comb, sunscreen, and even a few snacks if needed. The net extension will be good if I take the grandkids with me and have additional towels and clothes to add to my bag.

The handles are long enough to carry over the shoulder without being so long that the bag flops around. It is overall a great bag. a few inches smaller and I would call it perfect.

This bag is nice looking. However it is difficult to find things inside when used as a purse. In the case of this tote bag, a lot has been given to the untouchable, never-reduced, line of Harry Potter products.

They are not generally allowed to compete with other your other products when reductions take place. The color is great in this pattern. However, the characters are a bit difficult to pick out. The owl lining is great – too bad it’s not on the outside of something major in your line.

The bag was advertised as having a pocket for a wand. It took several tries to find it on the bag. It is not deep enough to carry the length of wand produced as Harry Potter styled wands. Cute idea but not for this bag and not at that depth.

I resent having to pay retail top for a non-competitive product. Owners of the trademark not allow for discounting? A troublesome cycle that eventually will defeat your best efforts. You’d probably tell me that the numbers show your plan works well.

But does it reward long standing loyal customers? I’m beginning to see a bit too much VB in my closet. After this purchase, I might slim it down. Who knows for how long.

I wanted to love this bag because I loved the black and brown contrast of this bag, but having had the Sydney Satchel over 10 yrs ago, this one just did not measure up. My main issue with the Rachel is space.

I find this bag smaller than the Sydney, though I believe they are the same size. What I feel is that the Rachel bag is a firmer leather, so it gives less, thus I find opening the bag doesn’t go as wide.

I also found the top where the zipper is, more limiting when it opened. The zipper and top of the leather stay more bent, making access to your items more challenging than the softer leather of the Sydney.

I also did not like the fact this bag had no feet on the bottom, I am not in need of the front pocket, which I find made the bag look a bit messier, but these are all just personal preference. I did find that the leather difference on this was a factor for me as well.

It almost felt plastic like, more slippery. The Sydney has a true grain/leather feel that I prefer. I think when it comes down to either bag, you will need to try them out for yourself. I think those who love the Sydney Satchel over the Rachel and vice versa comes down to the leather preference, appearance and pockets.

These are lovely, great every day bags with the ability to access your things without having to dig, be able to see everything without things falling out, and looking great at the same time.

I’ve continued to purchase these in different colors over the years and love the pockets, the size, the inside and outside pockets, and especially the zipper on top! So many bags this size have at least part of the top open, and I will NOT purchase those.

The only 2 negatives are that the strap is not as durable as the bag. 1. The very edge begins to wear or break, and white threads become exposed and start unraveling and won’t stop even if you trim them off.

It really ruins the appearance of the bag. It doesn’t take long for this to happen. 2. When I first started purchasing this bag years ago, there were 4 metal on the bottom to prevent the actual leather from touching the floor or wherever it was placed.

It seemed much cleaner!.

I knew the instant I opened the box that I loved the colors and shape of this tote It was packed beautifully. It’s the perfect size. Somewhere In between a pocketbook and a tote. So far what I’ve put in it seems to distribute evenly inside.

The shoulder straps are perfect size. The only problem I see so far is the zipper got stuck just once. It is a straight across zipper which is great. Not slouched. So I’m hoping there won’t be any problem with that.

After many advertising emails from Kate spade I finally purchased this bag on clearance. The zipper is defective as it keeps sticking and requires a lot of effort to open and close. Also at this price point and level of ” luxury” I would expect to see metal feet on the bottom to protect the leather.

it smelled more like plastic, “I thought this it was supposed to be a leather tote”. The overall look of it is ok. but, the quality of the tote definitely doesn’t fit the cost. I feel like I paid for a really expensive plastic tote not leather.

First off, packaging was impeccable. Doesn’t come with a dust bag, which I think is a mistake by coach (all of their bags should have a dust bag, even outlet bags). The bag is a good weight, not too heavy on its own.

I bought the insert which adds a bit more weight. The color is good. The base color is more tan/brown than orange, which I prefer as it will be easier for pairing with clothing. Neutral. I like large bags, and this one doesn’t disappoint.

I was concerned that the east west length was too short, but the base of the bag increases its volume in a way that renders the bag quite large, so I’m super happy with the size. The bag needs feet. I hate it when large bags that can accommodate more items don’t account for the potential weight to be carried by including feet on the bag.

I love this bag and the whimsical lipsticks scream my personality. I consider my self a huge coach Dan ana have many bag. I swear by their quality. I get so many compliments when I am using it. I have one big problem – I have a mystery blue spot that nothing takes it out across the one side of the bag.

Asked for this bag for my birthday as a replacement to my old MK bag. I wanted this one based on the side pockets, the compatibility with a 15″ laptop, and the open design inside (meaning I could store more stuff).

However, open arrival, my 14″ laptop not only barely fits, causing the laptop pocket to buckle outward, and it takes up the majority of the interior so that other things won’t fit. In addition, using the laptop renders the exterior pockets useless (and I doubt you could really fit anything in there anyway).

Overall, despite a beautiful color and a great number of internal pockets (though they can’t really be used), I’m disappointed and returning the bag.

My fiancé got my this purse for my birthday Unfortunately the zipper will not close once the purse is opened all the way so we returned it thinking it was just a malfunction with the one purse but the one that arrived today is having the same problem.

I am highly disappointed. I’ve owned Michael Kors purses for years and NEVER have I had a problem like this. Whatever is going on with this purse be aware that it is not seen proper and the zipper will not close before you purchase it or you will be highly disappointed like I was.

This Coach tote summed up in one word would be: FUN. Now for the more through review: Its shape is classic of a tote, but it holds its shape pretty well even when emptied. The handle length is perfect for this, it is very flattering when over the shoulder.

The tote material feels very sturdy and high quality leather as expected from Coach. The interior zipper pocket is surprisingly roomy for a tote like this. I appreciate the really strong magnets from a security standpoint as well.

The colors are arguably my favorite part of this, which honestly surprised me. The chartreuse with the hot pink logo is just such a vibrant combo and so fun. The orange on the bottom adds to the color blocking of this tote, though I admit that I wish it was more of the chartreuse or pink.

But the whole look overall of this tote is very retro and aesthetically pleasing to me. I’m honestly struggling to find anything I didn’t like about it. If I was being really picky I’d say that, personally, I don’t love having a brand logo so large across my bags.

But when it’s Coach and this pretty. I don’t really fault it. If you’re looking for a fun tote with clean lines and vibrant color accents as well as great shape and functionality look no further than this Coach Kia tote.

I love this tote! I was skeptical on switching over to a shoulder bag since I’m used to a crossbody but was ready for the change! This tote is so handy and comfortable to wear. Not to mention super cute! I love that the color block is a different color than I’d normally go for, it feels more vibrant and lively.

The straps are also comfortable to wear on shoulder at the beach as well. I used it as my purse and diaper bag for a quick beach day trip. I filled the tote with my numerous mom and baby essentials and the weight was not noticeable while carrying even with several cups and a large water bottle.

I highly recommend this tote to any and everyone. I just wish it had more pockets but for the purpose of an actual tote it’s perfect. I plan on adding a purse organizer when needed.

A trend-forward bag for spring/summer! I love the fun colors in the classic block styling and the pebbled leather feels high quality. I was a little surprised that it’s not lined on the inside, especially for the price, so it might get dirty/show use quickly.

The bag is large enough to carry my water bottle, wallet, sunglasses, and a book while still being normal tote sized/not oversized! I wouldn’t use this as an every day bag because of the lack of zip closure/lining as well as risk of wearing a white bag everywhere, but it’s a really fun statement piece!.

99 for the tote, and $8. 99 for the zipper pouch) as that is a bit on the higher end; but they absolutely do have a great appearance. It is a sturdy canvas cloth without being too stiff or heavy. The colors are as shown, and the designs are adorable.

For the price I paid they are an excellent value. The non-sale price, I feel, is about right / average for this product.

I bought 2 of these as gifts and as soon as I took them out of the shipping box, I smelled a terrible mildew-like smell. The shipping box and contents inside were all dry. The bags were wrapped in plastic so I took them out hoping it was just the plastic.

Negative, the stench was just permeating through the plastic and worse when I removed the plastic! While the bag appear to be well-made and of decent quality, the stench was just terrible. I Febreezed the heck out of the bags multiple times and allowed them to air dry and while the smell may have gotten slightly better, it was still strong enough and pungent enough that I didn’t feel like I could give it away to anyone.

I purchased two oversized teachers totes for my two daughters. It was for Xmas. Then loved them. Couldn’t get over the size of them, were amazed at how many pockets they had. Was delighted to see a zippered pouch on the inside for personal usage.

loved the idea that there were pockets on the outside. Easy to find every thing. They are made of a very heavy canvas. The outside pockets are canvas but with a design. MY girls just loved them. The price was excellent , would have paid more in a store for this quality.

I?m mainly writing this review for Saks. I ordered this as a gift back in December and it never shipped. I messaged them multiple times and was told it would ship soon. I messaged them today and was told it was cancelled due to not having enough.

I too wanted something different than the “everyone has” LV tote. This is a beautiful bag, but check sizing before you purchase, as it is rather large. For my needs, it’s not practical for work due to this.

I plan to keep for travel, as it fits a lot. Another thing to consider are the shoulder straps. They are thick, which is a plus; however, I’m 5’5 and find them to be a tad short. Another inch or two would have been nice to allow the bag to hang lower – especially when full.

I’m just pointing out what may not be obvious from the pics. It’s still a beautiful, classic bag. I like that it’s more structured than the LV, giving it a much more polished look. I took off a star only due to the strap issue.

The chalk white version of this tote did not disappoint! Like pretty much all Coach products it is gorgeous; absolutely true to the photos. The leather was pleasantly softer than I anticipated and the stitching superb as always.

This bag is the perfect size for me: not too big and not too small. It’s large enough to hold my iPad and iPhone along with my wallet, makeup case, glasses and quite a few other personal items without bulging or being difficult to forage through.

I have invested in all many Coach collection bags, from roses, to flowers to signature to the all pink bags, yellow, orange handbags, my brown signature slides, with the matching bookbag when we travel, my work corporate shoes, and I also have gifted my husband with the man’s Coach backpack, watch and wallet.

I am from online to Vero Beach to Palm Beach Gardens, I am like a walking baby doll model for Coach bags and shoes, I am so grateful for the opportunity to just treat myself to something like my Coach bags and the beautiful selections that you all keep dishing out as a way to express myself, my emotions, my beauty inside and outside with my dress code.

I ordered this handbag in the color “Gold/Taffy”. It is an absolutely STUNNING bag! The shipping was fast and my bag was well protected from any possible damage that could’ve occurred during shipping.

I love, love, love the middle zipped pocket. It is perfect as I keep my cards and cash in there (in a COACH wallet of course). Then the two sides (which are separated by the zipped pocket) are perfect for my bigger items.

I keep my wallet, water bottle, keys, lotion, hand sanitizer, and lip gloss in there and still have PLENTY of room for other items, if they are needed for the day. Like I said the color is beautiful; it’s the most perfect pink color.

The leather is a sturdy leather (but not too stiff), not the flappy kind of leather that some handbags are made out of. My only complaint, although small and not too big of a deal, is that I wished the zippered pocket was sewn into the bottom of the bag.

Right now it’s not which makes it floppy. The pocket gets things stuck underneath it because of this. I have to take everything out of my handbag in order to get the specific thing unstuck. So that’s a pain.

It’s the ONLY thing keeping it from being 100% perfect. Right now it’s 96% perfect. I’d only change that one thing. I know this purse is going to last me a long time and the color won’t go out of style.

I will be buying more colors of this handbag it’s just amazing and the beauty goes without saying.

Recently I purchased a Women’s Essential Tote bag in Mallard Green for my wife as a gift. It was our first purchase from Rothy’s and may not be our last – she really loves using it every day and we both are impressed by the quality of construction and clean, modern style.

She’s in love with the colors! She ironed out the shipping folds as instructed on the tag, and she loves how the bag stands upright by itself when placed on a surface. I think, functionally, a built-in water bottle strap on the inside would be a great addition since the interior volume of the bag is generous.

However, I feel I need to voice my constructive criticism concerning the packaging. Upon arrival, two of the box corners (short vertical edges) were torn open, so much so that a person could easily probe their finger inside the box and feel the fabric of the bag.

To discover the packaging is only just enough to survive the mail delivery transit process – considering the price of the bag – to me, is unacceptable. The bag was untouched, thankfully. Please consider redesigning your packaging for stronger reinforcement and adding another layer of protection between the bag itself and the outside box.

So far I am loving this bag. I busted the seams on my last Patricia Nash tote bag because I just need to bring too much stuff to work. This bag is sturdy! I take my iPad Pro, shoes, lunch, gym clothes, organizing pouches, water bottle, and the Rothy’s Belt purse everyday.

It stands upright whether packed full or not. It’s comfortable on the shoulder. I love that it can be zipped and slim when it’s not fully loaded. I bought the belt purse as well to throw in it, and loving that too.

I did buy Lily Jade zip pouch organizers, which are slim, and Thread slim wallets. My only wish is for one more pocket on the inside or outside for the phone. I keep the inside pocket clear for quick access things – AirPods, a pen, an emergency mini flashlight, or the thread wallets.

All my other odds and ends are in the Lily Jade organizers. I have already gotten so many compliments on the color.

I have several pairs of Rothy’s shoes and absolutely love them! I purchased the Ink and Ivory clutch in November and received gift cards so I could purchase the matching essential tote. When it arrived, I was so excited and could not wait to use it! The tote is a bit heavier than I expected (without contents) so when I add the laptop, planner, make up bag, wallet, phone, and keys, it is even heavier! The clutch holds my wallet, phone, and keys, which makes It so convenient.

Although the small zippered pocket in the tote is nice to hold my phone (if it isnt in the clutch), I do wish there was a key-ring strap attached somewhere in the interior for no-lost and easier access to keys.

(I am an educator and keep my work keys separate from my car/house keys. ) Of course, I love that the bag can be laundered. This purchase came with a dust bag and a laundry bag. The fact that it can be washed makes it worth every penny!.

The Large Le Pliage Tote is very roomy and the gunmetal color is stunning. It’s a beautiful mix of gray and blue that I feel will be appropriate in any season. The tote itself is quite roomy and holds all of my daily essentials and I’m a Mary Poppins type of girl.

The Large Le Pliage Tote is made of a lightweight material so even when it’s stuffed it still doesn’t feel heavy. There is a large slip pocket on the back wall of the tote which I use to keep my phone in and store antibacterial wipes and extra masks (just incase a facility is still requiring them).

The small slip pocket on the front wall is a perfect place for my keys. No more digging around when I need them. The rest of the bag is one large open space lined in the same color. This is my second The Large Le Pliage Tote.

I have one in red as well. You can’t go wrong with either color. The Large Le Pliage Tote tote folds up very easily for storage. The handles are a little stiff at first but do soften and they do not dig into your shoulders.

You can keep the tote on your shoulder with one strap while you grab your wallet at checkout with the tote open and the other strap off your shoulder. The only con is the leather flap does get in the way of the zipper at first but once you use the bag frequently, you’ll get a “system” and it won’t be as noticeable.

The tabs on either side of the tote are handy for zipping and unzipping. Side note—I ordered the Large Le Pliage Tote in gunmetal about a month ago but my order ended up getting cancelled due to unavailability.

I was told by customer service that I could place another order and they’d credit my account for the discount code I had used with that order. True to their word once the second order shipped, I was issued a credit.

Nordstrom and Nordstromrack have excellent customer service.

I purchased the smaller version of this bag for a last minute conference and then ordered the large version! I love that these are sturdier and the fabric looks like it may withstand long term wear and tear, better than the original le pliage totes.

I have a few colors of the original and have been buying the smaller ones for my mum for years! What always annoys me is that the corners fray and tear, which is why I have purchased more of the original line over the years than I care to admit.

I like the heavier material on these and hopefully it lasts! These are not as flexible as the original, which was pointed out by another reviewer, but these fit my needs for a structured work tote. I would revert to the original line for traveling.

I appreciate the price point as well, these are good for my needs without making a huge commitment.

I got this as a bag to use as a carry on while traveling with my children. The first thing I noticed was the handles were an awkward length to put on your shoulder if you are doing it with just one hand (a necessity when traveling with children).

While empty, it also seemed to slide down my shoulder easily — something that just gets worse with weight, and not something I want to deal with while running through an airport. I also noticed how small it really was — I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions, but figured I knew this brands bags and relied on the “extra large” label — I thought this would be big enough when expanded to fit a kids jacket or two or a sweatshirt, but was sorely disappointed to find that when zippered small, it was closer to the dimensions of a piece of paper, and fully “extended” it was the size I had hoped it would be when zippered up smaller.

I think a better name would be “collapsible” because this allows a regular sized tote to become a smaller sized purse — I also didn’t love how thin it was — the opening and bottom were thin ovals and it seemed like when the bag was full it’s hard to reach anything below what you placed on top.

For the price, even anniversary price, it was not worth it.

This is such a great bag. Another review said the leather quality wasn’t soft. This bag is meant to be a sturdy, formed/shaped tote – which is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is great. I bought a tote organizer that is helpful when I’m carrying my kids stuff or I just want some extra organization.

Overall great bag and I’ll likely buy the brown color as well.

I really like this bag! I bought it for my trip to Dubai almost 2 years ago and it’s been my go-to ever since. There’s nothing I hate more than to need something and not have it and with this bag I have no worries.

I do use an organizer that I bought from Amazon to give it structure and with it I can see everything at a glance. I bought the black with the red pop of color inside and since I wear a lot of black, it’s perfect.

I also travel with it for road and plane trips. It fits easily under any airplane seat. The only down side is you have to be careful how you put it on the seat next to you when driving because a sudden stop can tumble everything out but I can live with that.

I love it!.

Gorgeous every day tote bag! It doesn’t seem to be the best quality for the price. It also comes with marks on the leather, which I didn’t realize when ordering.

I really like this Saint Laurent tote, the leather is soft and beautiful. Great size to carry a lot inside. I personally bought a tote organizer (from Cuyana) that fits perfectly inside to help maintain structure and to organize things inside.

Great understated tote for work due to minimum branding.

Purchased this a year ago in the gray color. I liked the minimalist design and thought it would be a timeless bag that I could keep for a long period of time. But I was wrong. A few weeks after I received it, the Yves Saint Laurent label on both the bag and pouch partially rubbed off.

The bag is a minimalistic design which is great but when I want a little bit of flash, I try to show the YSL keychain. When you pull up the leather tab that covers the hardware, the leather tab doesn’t stay, meaning that you can’t really show the YSL keychain.

I tried to tuck the tab in the loop that attaches the keychain to the strap, but when I did that the keychain would fall off the handbag completely and I didn’t want to risk losing it. The bag is floppy and when you rest it down, it basically falls over.

It does fit a lot but there is no lining and the leather is completely raw inside. It easily stains so I’m cautious about what I throw in there. The corners of the bag are rounded and scuff very easily too.

The bag is pretty and the leather is decent, but for a $1k bag, it’s not as durable as I’d like it to be.

Purchased the Crema Soft color for travel and I LOVE IT! Nice beige-is color, soft leather, very roomy inside. Little bit of a bummer that there are no interior pockets but I love the bag so much that it really didn’t matter.

I will definitely be purchasing another one, in a different color.

At first glance, this bag is tiny and cute. You can also change how to hold it. You can cross wear it, or hand carry depending on how you feel or your outfit. When you cross wear, you can change the size of the strap for your comfort.

This bag is very soft and fluffy, it feels like a puppy. It has a zipper so you feel secure. You can hook your key chains on the metal part where you hook the strap to cross wear it. This bag sure is mini, but surprisingly, it can carry varieties of different items like your phone, wallet, makeup pouch, to go perfume, and you sanitary pouch.

I like to use it as a lunch bag for school, but it can get heavy. Also if you spill food, and don’t wash it probably, it will leave a stain. Plus, since it’s covered in fur, if you apply perfume it lasts longer.

The yellow goes well with most colors like pink, purple, green, red, blue, and black. This is the only bag I wear, and I wish there were more colors. With the yellow bag, I’ve been told that I look like the Japanese kindergarteners wearing their uniforms.

But overall, I think it’s worth the money!.

I saw a lot of people recently sporting this cute tote bag purse from Marc Jacobs, and just knew I had to get my hands on one for myself as well. Since the pandemic, I have downsized my purses a lot, but still needed a compact purse that can still carry a lot.

I love that it’s got a crossbody option too, which is so convenient when you need to keep your hands free, but your purse close to you. It’s not bulky at all, and is extremely well made. From the moment I received it, I was totally in love! I got it in slate green, a gorgeous neutral color that goes with everything.

I received so many compliments on it because it really is a beautiful, yet simple and practical bag. And don’t let the word “mini” deceive you, because even though it is labelled as a mini bag, it can really hold so much! So if you are deciding whether or not to purchase this, just go ahead and do it!!! You will not regret it!.

Okay so I really love the material, size and color of this bag. I got the slate green. However upon arrival and inspection I noticed minor details that are so small but also annoying. I knew it would be a gamble being that it’s a canvas material.

But I quickly noticed that one of the straps on the back handles of the bag, is a more faded green. Almost as though it burned in the sun. On the front of the bag I also noticed a small dark spot underneath the Marc jacobs logo.

Its like a dark mark that could pass as a small water stain maybe. I don’t know. It’s minor imperfections I guess. But I’m going to keep the bag because it’s cute, small, can carry all my essentials.

and I don’t want to have to deal with mail in returns etc. but just be cautious that it is canvas and it may have small minor imperfections you may notice the same way I did from the get-go.
