We got tired of replacing water filters constantly for our drinking water but we did not wanted to go into individual water bottles because our children would just leave them all over the house and it would take a lot of space in our fridge plus it is not a responsible option for our environment.

Our Primo (top loading) water dispenser was the perfect answer to our issues, and it even provided a few pluses that we had not even thought about. It fits perfectly in our kitchen; it is also child proof which was a big plus.

The installation was DIY and was super easy, we anchored ours to the wall for security. The dispenser itself is light so its easy to move (without the water, of course). We were thrilled when we found out that refilling the 5 gallon bottle is less than $1! Primo has a locator which makes very easy to find the closest location that has their water refill stations.

One of the best parts is that we get the choice for cold or hot water! That was one of those unexpected extras that we find using a lot. The hot water is hot enough for chocolate, noodles and similar; it also has child safety for it.

If you are wondering, the dispenser is quiet. Oh, and it includes a coupon for free water (one time use). Overall, we have not found any issues at all, if anything we keep finding ways to enjoy it more.

Tip: dispense a few glasses of water before enjoying your 1st glass, it will make a difference in the taste (same process when as when you change a water filter).

I never thought i would ever own or needed a Primo Top Loading Water Dispenser, bt they are so handy & convenient. I love that it dispenses both cold & hot water! Providing the coldest & hottest water.

It’s an attractive, quiet unit BUT, the space beneath the dispensing spouts is far too short even to fit a travel bottle much less a tea kettle. Also, the rate of the flow is very slow as is the time it takes for the water to get cold even with the HOT water turned off.

I wish it had 8 more inches of space beneath the spouts. Don’t expect to refill a large amount of bottled water at any one time as it simply only cools 15 ounces. I also found the exact same cleaning crystals online for MUCH cheaper than avalon charges, so do your research before you order theses crystals.

You don’t need all the accessories that come with their cleaning kit as you can use your own kitchen gadgets & gloves to clean it. It’s rated #2 in the bottom bottle dispensers.

This water dispenser is a great asset to our life. The box was large and heavy but very easy to unpack. When I cut the ties the box just lifted off the cooler. Installation was so easy that our teenage daughter did it by herself.

I purchased this Brio water dispenser for home use after reading many reviews. Overall, I’m satisfied and I’m happy with my purchase. The water is instantly cold or hot. It’s no louder than the noises my new refrigerator makes.

It’s small and it’s really easy to load the water. It was “shipped” within 24 hours and it took a little over a week to get from California to Michigan. I will say the downside is that they ship with FedEx.

FedEx seems to be very rough with their packages and unfortunately when I unboxed my dispenser it was dented on the side. Brio could have packaged the dispenser to withstand the shipping with more padding or foam.

Upon unpacking the dispenser I immediately called Brio customer service and they offered me a 10% discount for the damage. Of course I would have preferred that it came flawless, but I do also understand that things happen out.

Like I said, overall I’m happy.

I have bought several water coolers over the years and have had plenty of issues. This water cooler is phenomenal, I cannot recommend it enough. I know it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for with these things.

I have bought several $150 water coolers and they always break within 6 months to a year. The water from this on the stock setting is nice and cold, any colder and it would probably be uncomfortable for my teeth.

Having the ability to adjust the temperature is a nice feature though. Best thing about this model is that is just works, I have had zero issues with it. We bought a similar model cooler about 10 years ago and loved it! It finally wore out and we decided to purchase the updated model. We love it just as much but don’t like the dispenser valve. On the old one it had a larger piece that you could pull and water would come out.

On this model there is no pull and you have to press your cup on it. That is our only complaint. Otherwise it’s great.

We needed to replace our old bottom loading dispenser that was really loud and this was just the thing! I love that its flat on top so we can store cups, drink mixes, and utensils right on top. I also love how quiet it is when using it.

Our old bottom loader was really loud about pulling the water up, but this one is great in terms of sound and getting most of the water off the bottom of the 5 gallon jug. It includes a night light feature thats great for the additional boost of light it provides in our dining room, but I really wish that the dispenser buttons were lit as well.

Even with the night light, the buttons are extraordinarily (i. e. impossibly) hard to see in the dark and lighting them up would have been a tremendous help. On the nit picky side we feel that the dispenser part is a bit lower than ideal, but Im not as bothered by that as other taller folks are.

Overall, this was a great buy for us and were very happy with it!.

I’ve noticed that most of the positive reviews for all water coolers are from people who just bought it and are initially pleased. I believe in waiting for at least several months prior to writing a review.

I bought this cooler in Dec 2014 from Bed Bath and Beyond (great service, easy peasy return policy btw) and after less than 2 months the plastic piece inside that punctures the bottle and holds it in place broke off, making the bottle replacement a real chore, necessitating my husband’s assistance and a lot of water splashing onto my hardwood floors.

We finally decided just to return it and start the aggravating hunt for another unit. Initially, I also was very pleased with the unit because it offers the 3 temps, but more than personal preferences there seems to be a consistent refrain from buyers that you are unlikely to get more than 6 months out of it, which is too bad.

I’ve had these types of units for 16 years and I’ve always had them last many years. This is the first one I’ve had an issue with so clearly I am familiar with how they operate and not too picky. For this price I would still expect at least 2 years out of it, considering I’ve gotten about 6 years out of all the other ones I’ve had that were far less expensive and had the same or more features! Unfortunately none of those models are made anymore.

I have read a lot of the reviews for this cooler and really kinda scratch my head over some of them. I picked this up from Wal Mart at the beginning of March, plugged it in, and put a 5 gal water bottle in it before I went to bed.

I woke up the next morning and voila, cold water. Granted it didn’t take all night to make the water cold, but I just wanted to give it ample time. The whole family uses it, and the water is always cold.

We go through about a 5gal jug a week. It’s not all that complicated to set up or use. Take it out of the box, pick a spot to put it, plug it in and turn on the switches located in the back. There are 3 switches, One for hot water (we don’t use it) one for cold water, and one for an LED light.

(I saw no point to having it on so we don’t use that either) When you turn the hot water switch on, it takes about 20 minutes for the water to get hot, and when you push the button for hot water, guess what comes out? Yeah, how water.

The hot water switch also has a safety button on it so the kids don’t get accidentally burned with hot water. Over all, it runs quiet and does what it’s supposed to do. dispense hot\cold water on demand.

I have seen people complain that it’s not “ice cold”. No, it’s refrigerator cold, you want ice cold put ice in it. Either way, it’s still pretty cold water.

I’ve had this for a few weeks and I have to say it fits my family needs perfectly! It says commercial grade, it does look and feel well-built. It came with clear instructions how to put it together, troubleshooting, and even maintaining it.

I have only had mine for a month. I could not get my hot water knob to work. Before I ordered this cooler I read about the problems people were having with it but I decided that I could live with the way it works.

Well I never could get mine to work so I called the company and he offered to send out a new knob. When I got it I compared it to the one on the cooler and mine was broken. Where the push assembly fits onto the knob the back part of it was broken off.

It was easily replaced by just screwing off the original one and screwing on the new one and now it works perfectly.

I had gone through 3 Primo brand water coolers before I purchased the Aquaverse from Sams club. It arrived quickly and in good shape. I set it up, filled it and had ice cold water in about 1/2 hour. It really cools the water to ice cold.

It is a quiet running machine, compared to the previous coolers I had. The water tap dispenses the water at a fast rate, filling a drinking glass in seconds. I would recommend this cooler to anyone looking for a reasonably priced unit.

The cooler itself is very nice. The water is cool coming out which is a plus. The hot water is very hot. I gave it 3 stars because the water comes out slow. I didn’t realize how slow it was until I saw someone elses, different brand but definitely a better flow than this one.

I felt like hesitant at first but I love this water dispenser.

Easy to set up and use. Hot water feature is perfect for tea but not quite hot enough to slow brew fresh coffee. The cooling system is louder than any other appliance we own; however, it does not need to run continuously, so we tolerate the intermittent disruptions.

Remembering to turn off the heat switch when changing bottles has been a challenge. Overall, we appreciate the convenience and would recommend to other tea lovers.

We have been using the Primo dispenser at our lake cabin for about a month now and I LOVE it! It provides us with safe drinking water in a large enough container that lasts us a while. Having the hot and cold is very convenient especially when we have guests over, we have gotten so many compliments on it! The dispenser is compact, does not take up much room and looks very slick.

I love the safety features (anti-tip and the hot water) which gives me peace of mind when having my small daughter and other kids around. The bottles are available at most stores we have around here and easy to work with.

This is a great water cooler. I wanted to get one for my home so my daughter would drink more water. I love that we can have ice cold water all the time now. It was easy to take out the box and plug in to get it set up.

I bought a water jug from my local grocery store and it was ready to go. I just put the jug on it and in no time the water was ice cold. I like that I can get hot water out of it also. I dont see where you can put a cup holder on it, so that my only complaint.

Overall this is an awesome product.

i have had it little over 6 months, its great it makes drinking water much better. my whole family drinks more water. and it works well I like that it has a switch to turn on hot water so its not just always hot and cold.

its also room temp and cold. its a great machine. perfect for oregon cause you can use the filter jug and water tastes good even after 6 months on the filter. other states I can’t say cause there water is not as good is here.

I usually like Vitapur products, but this unit has changed my mind. This unit is loud and the rattling noise it makes when the motor is running is beyond annoying. The buttons are hard to push in order to disperse any water and the unit itself is really short.

Shorter than most units. The price is too much for the lack of quality it’s missing. I do not recommend this product.

Bought this water cooler because it was the only one pictured with the Vitapur filtration system. It is compact and looks nice. The water dispenser is lower and if I want to refill my sports bottle, I have to look for the spout.

The dispensing buttons are a little hard to push down right now but may loosen with use. I am also concerned that the filtration system “bottle” did not fit without removing the dispenser’s bottle collar which appears to leave a small gap.

Concerned about water safety. These two products are supposed to work together. Wish it came with a modified collar for a better seal. The dispenser could be a few inches higher and not interfer with refilling the water bottle and avoid bending over when dispensing.

However, overall I am happy with the Vitapur filtration system and dispenser.

I have owned this dispenser now for few weeks and here are MY cons and pros. Cons: dispensing spickets sit at about my knee level-so one has to stand bent down and hold receptacle while pretty weak stream of water is slowly poring into a cup at the same time you have to keep holding firmly piano key down.

My fingers get tired, so am I standing in that position. Not good for elderly, weak or arthritic person. Slot for cup is toll enough for cup only, not a water bottle. I would like to have a room temp spicket for coffee maker filling option.

Hot and cold capacity is pretty small, about 3 cup size it seems. So have to fill hiking water bottles ahead of time. Hope it will dispense even if power is out. Pros: I don’t have to use manual water pump.

Clean look.

Nice design, smaller than the one we had before. The main issue we have with it is that it is noisy. When the compressor starts, we can hear some metal rattling. It seems to be coming for the main body.

We looked at other models before this one but this one fits what we were looking for, except for that noise.
