20 Best Top Coat Gel Polish (2023 Updated)

I accidentally ended up with this Seche Gel Effect Top Coat when I had made a online pick-up store purchase of my favorite always go to Seche Dry Fast Top Coat. These two do not compare! I didn’t realize I had been given the wrong product til I had gotten home.

I called the store when I got home to the wrong product and they said sorry we were out of the other and this is just as great. I hung on to it and kept checking for the Top Coat Dry Fast and everyone was sold out.

I finally found it to replace the the store would not accept my online receipt for exchange but said this works as great just use it. I finally used it it is awful! It peels within a couple of days. Stick to the original Top Coat Dry Fast, that is a great product and always check your bag before you leave the store! Terrible customer service!!.

Rating this ONLY as a top coat. It does, indeed, make polish look “plump” and shiny like gels. For that reason, I’ll use what’s left of this bottle. However, all the claims (everywhere) that this makes nails last like gels are a bit overzealous.

My professional mani lasted 6 days before becoming a hot mess. Granted, that’s maybe an extra day or two from your average top coat, but it’s not the “holy grail” so many influencers are claiming. So if you’re looking for a nice top coat, it’s great.

If you expect gel durability, this will not deliver.

Hands down, my absolute favorite top coat. I’ve tried them all. From drugstore to higher end. But this is the ONLY top coat that keeps my nail polish from chipping instantly. My manicure will last a week, easily.

That is a rarity for me. It has a plumping effect so it does resemble the look of gel polish. This top coat creates a plastic-like shield over the nail polish will provide a ridiculously shiny finish.

Like the original Seche Vite, it does tend to get a bit thick and goopy as you reach the end. However, the pros outweigh the cons for me.

I recently ordered 5 colors through Kiara Sky and absolutely love all of them! I was told about this brand through my cousin who is a loyal customer of theirs. There are sooo many to choose from and it is very hard to not pick them all.

I love glitter and they have a ton of glitter options. They also offer deals and have texting and email offers if you sign up which is nice to take advantage of. I enjoy using gel nail polish but have struggled in the past with cheaper brands lasting on my nails.

My hands get pretty beat up as I am a vet technician and workout daily. My nails would often chip in a week despite follow gel polish ways of using. I have had on this color for a little over a week now and so far no chipping and it seems to be holding up very well! I’m excited to try the other colors I purchased.

The only complaint I have is it took 3 weeks for delivery and I kept receiving misleading emails about where my package was and if it had even shipped or not. Otherwise, the colors came in a cute box with preventable measures for them not to break.

I will most likely be ordering again if these colors continue to hold up well on my nails. I’m excited to try the other colors I got! 💅.

I bought 6 different colors and all of them suck. They won’t fully cure. I’ve tried everything. I checked my lamp’s wattage and it is strong enough to cure these products. I’ve cured it for 2 minutes between each thin layer that I’ve applied and it still has residue and I’ve even tried applying top coat despite having residue and it stains my top coats brush and becomes patchy.

I went to their website and read how they recommend applying their polishes and it didn’t work. This was a waste of money. I do not recommend their gel polishes. I would recommend DND gel polishes instead.

They’re more affordable anyways.

I absolutely love white nails so I decided to do them now that it’s getting warmer! I used to have the Essie nail polish in Blanc but it was both thick and took very long to dry so when I ran out I got this Sally Hansen miracle gel instead because I heard so many great things about how long it lasts and how it gives the gel effect without any gel or UV light! However, while it does have the shiny gel-like effect, it only lasts about 3-5 days before it starts chipping and cracking.

The white nail polish is thick yet sheer, so I end up using 3-4 coats instead of the 2-3 coats that are recommended on the bottle. I also have to use 2 coats of the top coat, which leaves me with thicker nail polish than I usually would have wanted.

Although that is bearable, what disappointed me the most was how despite the claims that the top coat would set the nail polish quickly, it still smudges like wet nail polish even after setting it. This may be because I use one more coat of nail polish than recommended but it can’t really be helped if I want the white to be opaque.

I had high hopes but for a $13 nail polish kit, I thought it would work better than just OPI nail polish and a quickdry top coat.

I have used the Miracle Gel 2 step system for years. I have been pretty happy with it in the past. I find it does best on toes that don’t chip nearly as easily as fingernails. I have never had any issue with the step 2 top coat in the black bottle.

Recently, I needed a new bottle of top coat. I purchased one (now in a silver bottle) and the formula is HORRIBLE! Within one second of applying it over any color, it lifts my color off ruining what I’ve just painted on my toes.

I have used the old bottles thousands of times and I’ve never had this happen before. I don’t know if they changed the formula with the new bottle, but I hate it and it honestly makes me want to stop using the product I’ve been happy with for years.

I would give this A MUCH higher rating if this issue can be fixed or if someone can explain why this is happening all of a sudden. I have not changed how I’m applying the product, so it’s not user error.

I purchased the Under the Tree shade in store after seeing swatches online. This shade looks like a green to blue to purple shift in the bottle (online it looks more all green), but on the nail, it is a dark navy polish with a strong green shimmer.

Basically a blue to green shift duo chrome. It looks different in different lighting. I think the green shimmer is most visible in sunlight. You do need to apply two coats to get the most green! Glossy top coat also helps boost the shimmer.

The shade is very unique and pretty for the holidays! Sally Hansen’s brush is too wide, IMO. But it isn’t too hard to apply if you wipe a lot of the polish off the brush. This shade stains the skin so be careful! Target has the best price I found on this polish and they do sometimes run sales.

One of the first top coat to exist and like everything from mía secret with excellent quality and durability, you apply it after the first in 2 layers and then normal or gel polish and again on top to cover your nails, they will be cared for and strengthened for longer.

Its ok. It has a strong, weird, almost mildewy smell. Chrome powder went on a little patchy and uneven. Had to re apply to get full coverage. In some light it almost appears cloudy and blurs the chrome powder.

In other light it reflects well. The black lable top coat from the same company has better powder coverage and I dont recall it smelling like mildew. I will go back to using that when this runs out.

I have used this several times and I love it each time! I found the initial cure time to be way too long to be able to chrome with it. Maybe it is my light? I used it first on a swatch stick to see how the directions held up.

On my actual nails I cute for ten seconds only. Then use my chrome or mirror. Works perfectly that way for me. I used this for a regular topcoat over dip and the shine is phenomenal. Def recommend!.

I recently bought this to use with the mermaid rub on powder. It left my nails with a lovely sheen and helped them to last longer. Recommend using this with rub on powders to extend the life of your manicure.

I was hesitant to purchase this because my prior experience with this brand (Ombre kit) was disappointing. But I’m delighted with the Chrome art nail kit in Chameleon. Depending on the light, nail color can look lizard green, bronze, or garnet; glitter sparkle is discreet.

Every time I extend my hand to store clerks, waiters, bank tellers, etc. they stop me in mid-sentence to compliment me. I’d give 5 stars but the second kit I purchased, in Bronze, is less distinctive.

(The monochromatic color scheme is pretty subtle–maybe I have to play with it more for maximum effect?). Go for the Chameleon, but make sure to cover your work surface thoroughly because the glitter flakes are whisper thin and end up *everywhere.

* Otherwise, application is straightforward and simple. Durability is average, though I found that with Chameleon touch-ups are easy — just apply a bit more of the black polish, then dab on more glitter with the stamper and voila, chips are gone.

So YoungNails is a professional brand. I like this stain resistant top coat because, being a hair stylist it keeps color from staining my nails. It’s a high gloss shine but you will need to wipe off the tacky layer.

15 mil and $15. per bottle it’s pricey but worth it. I recommend it because I don’t know of any other brand that has one. 😍🥰.

This product is hands down AMAZING!! I use this on my hair stylist clients tanning clients! Hair color does not even stain your nails when using this top coat! It’s that’s good!! Only negative thing that sucks is it’s not carried at cosmoprof or salon centric only online on the young nails website which means you have to pay for shipping any time you need to order it.

So it gets pretty expensive because of that!.

Without question this is a holy grail product. I usually actually order Vite, Vive and Clear together in bull because I go through them so regularly. DIY tip – if you want your at-home mani to really last, first use a coat of Seche Vive, then go back over with a coat of Seche Vite.

Wait 5 minutes and wash your hands gently in cold water. Your nails will be super shiny, bone dry and will stay perfect for a least a week. I usually change my polish/design weekly, but it may even hold longer than that.

Excuse my horrible nails right now. They’re usually on point but I’ve been cleaning my new flat. This base and topcoat is life. I have never tried to use it with cheap polish but it makes my nails stay beautiful long and look professional in between nail salon visits.

I get most of not all my products from Cosmo Prof but you have to be licensed to shop there. However, those of you who can’t get into that store target has been know to carry seche is a little pricey at target but you do not have to use that much for a great base or top coat.

I usually do two layers of top and one of base depending on the time I have to wear color polish. If I’m just going for plain Jane look. I use more layers of base and the same amount for top cost. When your almost out it does get thick but if you add one or two ‘DROPS’ of acetone in the bottle it’ll give it new life but adding too much acetone will ruin the seche and you’ll wind up wasting the last of you base and top coat.

So here is the scoop. Don’t buy the big bottle. You will regret it. The finish is lovely, but you have to let all your layers underneath dry completely. I paint my base coat, 2 layers of color, and give it about an hour to dry.

Then this bad boy gives even cheap polish a deep shine. The only issue I have is that it thickens far more quickly than I would like, so the smaller bottles save you money in the long term. I did try the enamel thinner, and no dice.

Hands down my favorite topcoat super shiney . I use this on all my clients nails! A thicker viscosity wouldn’t hurt for jewelry. Super affordable i love getting the massive refill size buying again!

Use this for all my nail sets, Amazing shine for acrylic nails. You can use over gel as well but I prefer this one for acrylic nails more. It doesn’t go dull, high shine you don’t need to wipe with acetone once cured it’s ready to go.

This top coat and foundation set, along with the matching probond, has made my nails last for close to a month. It is very easy to apply as you can take your time with it and it will not dry until you cure it.

I have found that sticking to one brand for foundation, color and topcoat reaps the best results as their chemical compositions are designed to work together. Mixing brands tend to lead to less longevity.

I would 100% buy this product again as it has more than met my expectations.

One. The top coat doesnt smooth out right away when youre curing it. It felt so sticky and wasnt staying glossy. Two. its not real because the cheap products I get an allergic reaction in my fingers.

They start to itch and get sensitive. But the next day it was smooth and if you dont put enough the gloss doesnt show as much. I wasnt happy that it wasnt the real product. And I wanted a good brand because I was tired of the allergic reaction I get from the fake and cheap products when I want to do my nails at home.

So If your reading this. dont buy it.

Since Covid made it’s arrival, I’ve been doing my nails at home. I’ve been using this particular foundation and top coat for over a year now and I really like it! I’ve purchased this set a couple of times since I started my own nail care and have always been pleased.

Bonus, there’s not crazy smell to it!.

OK, so I was super curious to see if this lived up to it’s gel manicure claims. I would say it absolutely did! Went on easily and very smoothly. Easy to re-swipe while still wet to correct any areas but also dried fairly quickly.

Dried well, was still clear when dry, and just overall easy to use/control. I used 2 coats (letting it dry completely between coats) and it was crazy how well it resembled a gel manicure! That is what definitely gets the 4 stars.

However, I wouldn’t consider it a 5 star because it chipped so easily! If it hadn’t, it would have been a 5 star for sure. Not even 2 days in, the ends started chipping (like big chunks) and taking the color i had under with it.

I used it carefully, I wait fully for dry time, and I usually do nails before bed to let it set all night. Still chipped pretty badly. I ended up taking it all off by end of day 2. Not sure how to get it not to chip so easily (wasn’t doing anything wild with my nails) but if you can, it’s great! I think it would be worth trying, but keep this in mind if you use your hands a lot where it would affect your nails.

I have always been an Essie lover, almost all the nail polish I have is Essie. I was super excited when I saw this gel-setter top coat! I love going to the nail salon for a mani-pedi, however it can get pricy and it doesn’t always turn out perfect.

This top coat is amazing! After using an Essie colored polish, I put this gel-setter on top, no other products needed. It plumps up my nails and gives them a professional gel look. It also lasts for quite a while.

Typically regular nail polish for me will last a few days maybe a week if I don’t do anything strenuous with my hands. But this top coat is still on, with no chipping for over a week already! I absolutely love it! It also comes off way easier than traditional gel polish.

I would highly recommend!.

I have been making more effort to do my nails and other fun girly beauty routines despite working from home. I love that this Essie Gel Setter Top Coat gives me that glossy look of gel, without the additional time and hassle of using actual gel nail polish and curing with a UV lamp.

I usually apply a base coat, then a couple coats of nail polish (drying between each one), then finally one coat of this on top. My nails still look great even though normally it would have been a chipped mess by now.

Let me start out by saying I’ve been doing my own gel manicures for about two years now. I’m a perfectionist and will only use products that are high quality and have staying power. This weekend I attempted my first manicure using full coverage tips.

I used the AIMEILI Base and Builder gel and I loved the results! The builder base was used as a “glue” to seal the tip to my nail under a UV lamp. Great quality and love that I don’t have to wipe the top coat.

Great product! I’ll definitely be repurchasing when I run out!.

The top and base coat bottles look identical to their gel polish color bottles except for the fact that the text on the bottle indicates which formula is which. Each bottle has a sticker on top of the cap that says “Base” and “No Wipe Top” so you can easily find them if you store your polishes inside a box.

I used a 1 minute cure time with a UV/LED lamp for each layer of base, color, and top coat that was applied. Thin coats are key in getting the polish to last, as is doing the proper prep work to your nails (buffing and cleaning the surface) prior to any application of the formula.

The base coat is slightly tacky after curing it, which helps to get the color coat to stick and not shrink. The top coat is a no wipe formula which leaves a smooth surface and a plump and glossy shine.

As for the durability, a manicure done with this base and top coat along with an Aimeili color gel lasts for 14 days with minimal wear to the tips and hardly a chip in sight. Individually, the base and top coat sell for $6.

99 each, but as a set, you will only pay $9. 99. This is insanely cheap as you get 10 mL of polish in each bottle. Other gel top and base coats easily cost more than double that price for even less polish inside, and the ones from Aimeili are of an equal quality to them, if not better.

This set is a no brainer if you deal with gels!.

The product is very economically consumed, does not thicken, does not distort the color, reliably protects the nail plate from the coloring pigment. Applied as a base, dries instantly! The manufacturer does not promise any healing or strengthening effect.

I have also to say that this base / top does not contribute to the faster drying. This product does not fit as a top coat for nails decorated with stamping as it was not recommended by many nail masters (but I tried it, the picture floats, if I do manicure with stamping, I definitely put Orly Top 2 Bottom as a base, even though there are no chips !!!).

If these are important points for you, then you should choose something else, Orly it the best in my opinion, for all occasions! I really, really recommend trying this tool! I have no doubt that the result will please you! #nails #nailcare #orly.

This is one of the best products I have used on my nails. It doesn’t have a lot of chemicals and it doesn’t colored your nails. I used the top to bottom and also I got a color for Christmas. As I mentioned before unlike the other brands of nail polish I have tried this one doesn’t leave your nails with color residues! Love this product!.

I usually like this product a lot! I use it as a base coat and top coat. As a base coat, it dries quickly and helps protect my natural nail from being stained by the polish. As a top coat, it sometimes works super well and stays shiny for days.

However, other times the smallest touch will indent the polish even days after application.

This is for shade 167 Ballerina. It’s similar to the extremely popular Essie shade “Ballet Slippers” so I put them side by side for comparison. Ballerina is slightly more pink in tone, which I prefer.

It’s very opaque and the picture of my nails (please excuse because I did myself and they look bad!! Lol!!) is with four coats. Like the Essie and other opaque polishes like this, it does require some skill and patience.

You have to do several thin coats and go slow, so you don’t have streaks. The Chanel has a very thin brush with further complicates things and why I took a star off. I love Chanel polishes in general and they have some of my all time favorite colors.

The polish lasts for a week to ten days if you take care of it properly. I always use the top coat immediately after my nails are dry and then again every few days to keep them shiny and prevent chips.

It is expensive for a nail polish, but it is a very high quality.

There are so many topcoats to choose from, but I keep coming back to this amazing version. It is long lasting, super glossy and doesn’t shrink up as it dries, so you don’t have to worry about the edges of your mani or pedi chipping prematurely.

I mentioned it’s super glossy, but did I mention it stays glossy for days? My average time with a perfect mani is about 5 days, and that’s with me not being protective or too careful with my nails. If I am better about that, I get a full 7 days without chips.

The actual bottle lasts a long time, too. Doesn’t go bad, gloop up or dry out and I get a good 7 months of weekly manicures and monthly pedicures out of one bottle. Value for money is a no-brainer, even if it seems pricey at first glance.

This nail polish has a high shine glossy finish. This gel polish comes in a wide variety of colours. I apply 2 coats of nail polish to create opaque colour with most shades. The very light colours, like the off white shades, require 3 coats to create opaque colour.

I like to mix my polishes to create new colours. Be sure to completely clean your nails with nail polish remover before applying this nail polish. This ensures it adheres to the nail, which extends the wear time.

I love my Sally Hansen gel nail kit. It has saved me thousands in salon fees. I love that my nails are completely dry in seconds. I highly recommend these polishes and this gel nail kit.

I just used this after buying on sale and I have to say I’m unexpectedly impressed! Seemed to work pretty well, my only complaints are (1) I wish there were more colors. My kit came in Shell we dance and I found it pretty sheer.

I’m hoping they come out with an opaque white, and a nice dark red. (2) After I finished, my nails still feel kind of sticky/ slimy. I washed my hands, and the polish doesn’t seem to be rubbing off exactly, but it almost doesn’t feel fully dry.

I’m not sure what that’s about?? Looking forward to more colors coming out and hopefully figuring out how to fully cure!.

I would not recommend to anyone to buy this nail polish remover. I bought this polish because it the description said it said it was a gel polish remover. Well I covered my nails with cotton soaked with the remover and covered it tightly with foil as directed.

After 15 minutes, none of the polish came loose. not even flakes. So I followed the instructions and kept trying and checking nails every 5 minutes as instructed. Finally after 45 minutes, a very small amount of the gel nail color began to flake off slightly from the bottom of my nails.

After 2 hours of soaking my nails and making very little progress with getting the polish off my nails and layers of my nails being peeled off trying to get the polish off, I finally gave up. I had to make a trip a nail salon just to get a stronger remover to finally get the gel nail polish off.

This is a solid top coat that can be used over any type of nail polish, not necessary gel. It dries fast, leaving a shiny, tough protective layer. I would rate it higher than the average top coat from most nail companies.

Is it the very best top coat for $35 + tax? Can’t say for sure, but it’s beat others I’ve tried and if you can afford it, get it. I remove it easily using acetone. A tip: as the years go by, use nail polish thinner to take away the thickness- do NOT use acetone.

I used the latter and it ruined it. $35 + tax down, I’ve learned my lesson!.

I’m not good with nail polish! Despite always using a base and top coat, with two thin coats of colour – my nails always chip. This has been the best top coat I have tried. My nails have so far lasted four days, which is a record for me.

The packaging is lovely, the bottle is easy to hold and the brush is user friendly. I was recommended this top coat to try, I’m very pleased I gave it a go! Yes it’s expensive, but I’m pleased with the results.

Dior makes some of my favorite nail polishes. The formula is so smooth and glides on easily for a quick and flawless application (even for someone like me who is not the best at applying nail polish).

And of course every nail shade I’ve tried has been spot on and they can do no wrong. The shade Lucky has been my favorite in the warmer spring and summer months for a bolder and more fun look. Would recommend them over and over because they last so much longer than other nail polish brands and always look amazing.

It’s called ultimate top coat for a reason! This is a good one! The application is very easy, smooth, and cures great. There is a slight tacky layer after cure, but it wipes off easily with a tad of alcohol on a lint free wipe.

I’ve had it on for 3 days and so far it’s performing like a good gel polish top coat. Used it on my clients and no issues so far either.

I recently got the opportunity to try two of OPI’s new Nature Strong nail polish. This polish claims it’s vegan, made with 75% natural GMO-free ingredients and 20% recycled plastic. I did not realize nail polish wasn’t naturally vegan, but read that some of the pigments and thickening agents can come from animal sources! Naturally I was hesitant about a “natural” nail polish, but as per usual OPI continues to impress.

I used Knowledge is Flower on most of my nails, a beautiful pink/light mauve polish. This color is classic, would look good with most skin tones and went on flawlessly and smooth! I could’ve gotten away with one coat, but I added a second to cover up some spots I missed.

I did an accent nail of A Clay in the Life, which is an ivory nude color. This one seemed a little thinner, as some nudes do, and took two coats for mostly full coverage, but could’ve used a third. I’m naturally fair skinned with neutral undertones and thought A Clay in the Life worked well on me, but was a little disappointed by the coverage in 2 coats.

The formula on both is smooth, consistent and dried as quickly as normal OPI polish. I would happily purchase more colors of this environmentally conscious nail polish and recommend it to friends! OPI claims this polish is long lasting with up to 7 days of wear.

I wore both colors with Duri Rejuvacote as a base coat and Seche Vite on top (which kind of defeats the purpose of natural nail polish!) and I started to get a few small chips on my pointer fingers by day 3.

This is pretty typical for me with regular nail polish, so not off putting. I love OPI polish and will definitely try more colors from this Nature Strong line.

I received 2 of the OPI Nature Strong nail polishes. I always knew OPI as a reliable and trustworthy brand. I love their other lines and the enormous variety of shades they offer. With this line, I was expecting the best quality and that is exactly what I received.

I applied 2 coats of the nail polish to get the full color onto my mail. This was all I needed. The color popped and was very pigmented. I didn’t experience any bubbling or imperfections as you may with a cheap nail polish.

The nail polish dried extremely smooth, it looked like I got a professional manicure even though I would not consider myself great at doing my own nails. I always have an issue with my nail polish smudging as it doesn’t dry fully (even when I think they already have).

However, this polish felt like it dried much quicker and didn’t smudge whatsoever, even though I admittedly accidentally exposed my nails to water within the hour of applying. I was so nervous this would for sure ruin my manicure, but that couldn’t have been further from the case! It stayed put and looked perfect! After having the polish on for several days, I was impressed how the polish didn’t have any cracks or chips.

My manicure still looked fresh. The polish still had the same pigment and didn’t fade or change as some other brands tend to do. My nails feel like they are stronger with the polish on. They almost feel thicker but don’t look encased or bulky.

It feels like an added layer of protection, which I truly appreciate as my nails tend to break when I let them grow out long. I absolutely recommend this line and for sure look forward to buying more shades.

I don’t do my nails too frequently, and when I do I use gel polish as it lasts considerably longer than regular polish. I do still own a few regular polishes for those occasions when I need to do my nails fast and can’t bring my whole gel polish set up with me.

So I am familiar with how a good nail polish should perform. I think this polish performs ok. I did have some problems getting it to not look streaky. This is especially noticeable with the lighter shade.

I usually do 2-3 thin coats to build the opacity and pigmentation. But it was a little bit difficult to do that with this polish. I found that when applying the second coat, it seemed to reactivate the “dry” coat beneath it.

It made it difficult to glide the brush down. This made the polish a bit gummy and lumpy. The only way to remedy this was to lay down a thicker layer of polish than I would’ve liked. But this made it so it took even longer for that second layer to dry.

Because of this, I decided to forego the third layer since I would need to let that dry even longer before I could top it off with a top coat. Luckily the pigmentation was good enough where I could get away with just 2 coats.

The shades I received weren’t what I typically gravitate towards but that’s not an issue since the full display seems to show several other spring shades I do like. When it comes to longevity, the polish does seem to have a good lasting ability.

Once it dries it does seem like it’s set in place. All in all I don’t think the polish performed any better than cheaper options I own. I would still consider purchasing it just for the fact that it’s vegan and derived from more natural ingredients.

I think the price is a little steeps I would have to find some shades I’m really in love with to justify purchasing the polish.

Firstly: I will start by saying that, I have used this top coat (religiously), for probably 10 (ish) years, and don’t plan to stop! Secondly: This top coat is pretty amazing (in my eyes) in just about all areas.

It is one of the few top coats I have used that dries PROPERLY, and in a pleasantly quick amount of time. It’s kind of like mani-magic, if you ask me! I am also a fan of the fact that, you don’t need a large amount of this polish to get full coverage, which makes one bottle go a long way! Thirdly: I use this a lot just on my plain natural nails, but when I use it as a top coat over a colored polish, I am able to apply it without the base polish being 100% dry.

and it doesn’t at all affect or ruin anything! Which is great for someone who is impatient, like myself 😂. It also seems to have a big impact on the base polish (that take forever to dry) by speeding up the entire drying time as well as lessening the chances of the smudges that happen when you over-trust the appropriate dryness of the polish.

Fourthly: One small issue I do have, though. if you use too much (or more than two coats), especially over base polishes, it can easily peel off. and always at the most convenient times! (NOT!) Other than that, I pretty much always love the results.

This top coat will be the best you’ve ever used if you use it correctly. The first few times I tried it I was very disappointed with it. Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish.

It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping.

So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!.

Painting my nails is a simple act of self care that I often spend time doing in the evenings. I wasn’t expecting to like these nail colours from @opinailsuk yet once I applied them I totally fell in love with each shade.

They’re bright, fun and perfect for everyday wear. The bright orange shade is my absolute favourite, I love it that much it’s even gone on my toe nails. You’ll definitely see me wearing it well into Autumn.

I’ve long been a fan on OPI nail polishes, the coverage is amazing and they last for days before starting to chip. I’ve used their base coat before applying two coats of nail colour and finished with a layer of top coat to make it last even longer.

The thin brush makes it easy to apply your colour and leaves each nail evenly coated. (Teal Green) Venice Collection – Gelato On My Mind (Baby Blue) OPI Top Coat is a great product, made my polish last longer, great price, brush made it easy to aoply.

In the summer I want to wear only neutral toe nail polish so I can enjoy all my sandals. In the winter, anything goes. This winter I discovered by accident that this gold polish I have on hand (not this brand) is a neutral on my feet, a delightful discovery.

So I thought I would test this Chanel gold polish and add it to my collection. However, it looks deeper and darker than my other gold polish and is not a neutral on me. I see it as gold with platinum in it.

The platinum gives it that deeper color. If you’re into nuaunces of color, you may agree. I hope this helps online shoppers. I think it’s a very pretty (and probably temporary) color. Enjoy!.

I’m not sure why all the great reviews. The brush is the only good thing about this polish. Gel is the perfect term for this because that’s what it is…. gelatinous goop. I’ve been doing my own nails for years and this just doesn’t cut it.

It doesn’t apply nicely at all. It almost seems to dry to fast (as applying), hence making a mess of my nails. I immediately removed it and applied my old tried and true Barielle ridge filler and my nails looked great.

I tried it a couple of times and then tossed it.

Really great alternative for gel nail polish that doesn’t damage your nails when removing. This red is a lovely bright colour. The polish is not as thick as gels, and chips more easily, but lasts about a week.

I’d recommend doing 3 coats of red with 2 coats of the top/clear polish for a thicker look and longer lasting wear!.

Was a bit sceptical after the reviews and after my not so good experience with a previous nail polish from here. I’m glad I gave it a try. Lovely colour, simple and chic, lasts me 5 days usually. I am a mother of two with lots of household work so it passed the test!.
