20 Best Top Coat For Nails (2023 Updated)

I am not one to leave a review. I am a long time nail salon junkie and finally decided to “do my own”. I have done the dip and gel polish at home for a few years now and hate the time consumption of the dip and gel keep up.

So I have decided to try another route again. I am now relishing in my natural nail beauty and have found this product to be a life saver! I start with an OPI Nail Envy nail strengthener, and then any polish of my choice, I currently am using OPI brand.

I then seal with Big Dry top coat from Sally Hansen. This dries really fast. I then use the SALLY HANSEN MIRACLE GEL TOP COAT, it dries in about 5 minutes, and then I add one more coat of the Big Dry top coat.

and PERFECT AND LONG LASTING RESULTS! All I can say is I think it dries faster if you use the big dry top coat prior to just putting it directly onto the polish. Other than that this is fabulous and I will keep using this product with every polish change etc.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!.

I have mixed views. Mostly good. I like the application and I have experienced excellent, long wear with this product. I get over a week, however there will be some wear at the tips of my nails, and maybe a little chipping at the tips.

But overall , I rate the the wear as excellent. It is in the application that there are some quirks. Some colors definitely need more than 2 coats to get the color and coverage you need. I find the solid colors take longer to dry well and are more prone to dings and smudges than the frosty or glittery colors.

So make sure you apply thin coats and let them dry between, just like regular polish. The finished look is sort of thin, not thick and glossy like a salon gel. I don’t love that aspect of it. Disappointed, actually.

You can see irregularities in the surface of your nail, whereas with salon gel they look smooth and shiny. Sometimes I add a coat of Seche Vite a couple days in to give it the high shine and smoothness I like.

The Miracle Gel top coat can drag the underneath color and streak as you apply and since it is so thin, it doesn’t have that high shine that one associates with the Gel look. That being said, overall, I like it because I can work in the garden, clean, wash dishes, etc, and it does not peel off or chip.

And it stays flexible so if your nail bends it bends to instead of breaking popping the color off. I am happy with it as an everyday polish. I would recommend it with that caveat. I did find that my nails were stained after removing one of the solid colors.

I pride myself in keeping my nails well manicured & polished. Revlon super lustrous polish was my go to polish. I just bought a new supply of polish which included the color Vixen, #570, which has a label that says “New Formula.

” It is horrible—thick, gunky & does not go on even at all. It is so thick I doubt I will get 2-3 polish changes out of it, that is, if I have the patience to use it again. I will say I do like the new brush.

The brush in the old formula really needs an upgrade—it is much to thin & stiff especially if you have long nails—so you don’t have to load the brush 2-3 times to polish one nail. Please get rid of the new formula & just give us a new brush for the old formula.

I won’t buy the new formula again!.

These are, without a doubt, the best nail polishes on the market. I have been using these since high school and I’ll never waver because every time I do, I’m disappointed. The colours and range is superb, the consistency is so easy to work with and the brush.

the brush! I don’t know what it is about the brush but I never go wrong. I find I get the most consistent coats with the Revlon nail colour, whereas other brands can be quite patchy. It dried to a glossy, rich finish that looks oh so polished (pun intended).

Love the new and improved formula, especially the brush. I have 20 colors in my collection (OK, I LOVE polish), and they do not dissapoint. My faves are Cherries in the Snow, Revlon Red, Coy, Vixen, Teak Rose, Romantique, and Blushing.

There are so many options for so many occasions and moods! And, all last at least a week and never chip. I do use a base coat. Thank you Revlon!.

This is a review for three creme finish shades from the Sally Hansen Good Kind Pure nail polish line. I have the shades ‘Pink Cardamom’, ‘Peony Origins’ and ‘Fruity Papaya’. In the first two photos I have on the shades ‘Fruity Papaya’ on my pointer finger, and ‘Peony Origins’ on my thumb.

In the last/third picture, I’m wearing ‘Pink Cardamom’ on all fingers. In all the photos I had applied two coats of each shade. The brush design for these is an oval/rounded shape to hug the nail line, and it’s slightly wider and shorter than the wide brushes essie rolled out to replace their old brushes (if you buy an essie shade at Target it will have the wide brush.

) Overall I like them, but noticed my brush for ‘Peony Origins’ is slightly wonky/cut weird. The formula for the three colors I have tried is slightly on the thin side, but not *too* thin that it causes pooling.

For the same reason, you may want to apply three coats if you have longer nails and/or ridgy nails. I opted for just two coats, but you could kind of see the texture a little, but I honestly wasn’t too bothered by it.

It was more noticable on my thumbs, so in that case I might do three coats next time I use the color (Peony Origins). On one of my pointer fingers I had a slight bald spot with the shade ‘Fruity Papaya’ (presumably from the thin formula, I didn’t have problems with the brush).

Again, this could have been fixed by adding a third coat, but I was feeling lazy so I didn’t (it wasn’t too noticable anyway. ) I don’t really remember having issues with nail texture when I used ‘Pink Cardamom’, since you can’t tell in the photo, and the last time I used the shade was in March.

If you’re a seasonal nail polish wearer, I think ‘Pink Cardamom’ is suitable for every time of year. It is a classy pinky nude that looks so elegant. I didn’t keep the best track of the longevity of these polishes, so I will have to do that next time I use a color from this line.

I don’t remember them being *super* long lasting to be honest, but not terrible either. Generally, this line seems like a pretty good drugstore option, and Target’s prices for them are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, although there are places you can find them for even cheaper I believe.

I have been through 37 years of hands in cleaning solvents, then menopause nightmares & health issues galore. my nails don’t even grow any longer, they are simply frayed at the edges & worse. Ive been through the “best” and most expensive polishes on the market today & NONE of would stay on even 48 hours.

I bought PURE POLISH as a bit of a joke because of my “organic; holistic ” sister. I wanted to tease her about my new “plant based” polish. Boy was I ever surprised when it not only glided on like a dream, covered like a dream and STAYED ON for days like a dream, even before I went back to purchase the top coat ; but Im blown away by this product and it is SOOOO beautiful on, plus the colors are killer & there is absolutely NO SMELL.

it is worth every single penny. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. Only issue , Im hunting everywhere for the prettiest shade ever, called NATURAL SPRING #371. First time I ever saw it & its the perfect resort colour, but now I cant find it ANYWHERE , not even on their site here.

Im heartbroken. Other than that they’ve got my heart 100% for this product. My next favorite color that rocked my world ? the black sparkle ( dont have the numbr in front of me) & there is MORE to share.

I thought any polish with this much grip & tenacity would be a bear to get OFF, esp. after I layered 3 coats ! but. much to my shock. its also a dream to wipe off. Honestly dont know who developed this formula & its always the curse of death when I find any product I love, so Im shy about gushing so much on this, but let me tell you.

This product is to die for. It’s simply THE BEST polish ever to hit the market. PERIOD. Love it beyond words.

TLDR: Takes a long time to dry (-1 star) but lasts 7-10 days chip free. Part of my regular nail polish routine. I have repurchased this top coat multiple times so far. It’s one of my go-to nail products, however, I do have some complaints.

My top points: – I feel like this top coat takes FOREVER to dry regardless of what polish I use with it. – Once it’s dry (ugh it takes so long!) it lasts chip free for 7-10 days which is really unheard of for me.

I haven’t had that reliability with any other top coat or nail polish. – I have a routine that I feel like makes my nails dry faster but last just as long. 1. One coat Sally Hansen good kind pure base coat 2.

Two thin layers of nail polish (Sally Hansen good kind pure, Essie, and Terra Beauty are my favs) 3. One coat Ella milla quick dry (in a rush) top coat to get everything dry quickly 4. THIS One coat Sally Hansen good kind pie to seal it all in – !! Make sure to seal the tip of your nails!! This routine seriously makes my nail polish last longer than anything else I’ve ever tried.

I absolutely love this top coat. I use it over Color Street Nails, but also for my daughter when she’s painting her nails. It extends my manicure to 10 days, at least (I usually get sick of the color first and take it off).

Dries very quick and gives a nice shiney coat. I don’t usually need to reapply. Gives it a nice gel polish look and I get a ton of compliments all the time. Makes my nails feel much stronger. Definitely recommend.

I do keep nail polish thinner though as sometimes it gets too thick in the bottle, so I add a few drops here and there.

I have been using this too coat for so many years! I absolutely love the way this girl es my nails a beautiful shine. This also prevents smudging on my polish as well as chipping. I have never had an issues using this top coat and it has definitely outlasted all of its competition.

I have tried several too coats and this is the one I always go back to. OPI is an amazing brand and I love all of their products. I find their products to be professional quality and for that I don’t mind paying a little more.

I’m a big fan of OPI nail polish! This particular top coat gives my polish extra life span. It doesn’t peel within a few days and lasts throughout showering and pool time as well. I also like the shine that their top coats leave the nails, this makes them look fresh and beautifully manicured! The OPI color selection is excellent, the vibrancy of the nail polish is beautiful!!! I like a wide variety of colors to choose from and O.

P. I has exactly what I need every time! Ranges from Bright to dark and everything in between; reds, black, grays, whites, pastels, and of course my personal favorites, the nude purples. So basically, I like every color, lol.

I like to be adventurous with my nails, including nail art! So if your looking for polish that lasts, look into O. P. I if your not using this brand already.

I received this as a perk with my Winter Color Pass box. The very first time I used it, it dried very quickly. After that, drying time has varied–I suspect it depends on the thickness/thinness of the polish formula I happen to be using (and/or how many coats I’ve had to use).

Its main claim to fame–that it’s long lasting–I can wholeheartedly confirm. On me, it lasts a good 7 days, and may even stretch to 10, with minimal wear at the free edge of the nail (no chipping). So far, so good.

However, I suspect the thing that makes this so enduring also leads to a peculiar effect–unless I load a good glob of the stuff on a nail, Shining Armor will pucker along the free edge as it dries. This results in the first two nails I topcoat (my pinky and ring finger) tending to come out fine, as the brush is heavy with topcoat.

But as I progress along my hand, my middle and index fingers, along with my thumb, all end up with puckered, sort-of pleated free ends. When I started noticing this I wondered if I was “dinging” my nails, so when I did my mani last night I made of point of having nothing more intense to do after than to eat an already-prepared meal while streaming something on Amazon.

I babied my hands for a good hour and a half after top-coating and the puckering pattern still manifested. I supposed I could just overload the brush for every nail but that would have me burning through a pricey topcoat that much faster.

As well, the dark bottle makes it impossible to know how much product remains. So, it’s a mixed bag o’ nuts, and I’m sorry I can’t recommend this as it stands, as its longevity is great and, actually, it has a pleasant scent to it.

It could be a phenomenal product with a bit of tweaking.

This topcoat has a unique finish when completely dry, it winds up becoming very thin but resilient after it’s fully cured. I was really hoping for a “plumping”, gel like shine since it was called Shining Armor.

It definitely offers more armor than shine, and it prolongs my wear and prevents chipping very well. I did notice however that it can take a very long time to fully cure if the layers of polish beneath it aren’t completely dry.

It also reactivates the polish and even with gentle application, there is transfer from the nail to the brush. It is quick dry in the sense that the outside has air dried, but the layers beneath remain liquid for a disappointingly long time.

A few times my nails have remained rentable for multiple hours. For the love of everything, can you please make a clear bristle brush for top coat so you know when there is excess color on the brush? That way I don’t contaminate my bottle with color.

TLDR; not super shiny, but very resilient and long lasting manicure protection. Color coats need to be fully and completely dry before applying to ensure “quick dry” and avoid color transfer.

I always do my nails before bed and I paint my nails more than once a week. I woke up with sheet marks for the first time since, well I won’t mention any names. Having 3 other top coats that dry faster, I won’t get another bottle (I received it with my color pass).

Young Nails products are amazing! I love the quality of their products and this top coat is really the best one I’ve used. It can be used on both acrylics and gel, and it really helps keep your nails fresh and make them last longer.

For starters, this is a real review from a real mama. I painted my nails, while my 10-month-old was trying to get into everything on my coffee table AND my toddler was asking me 500 questions per minute.

That being said, pardon the imperfect manicure. I often have a difficult time sitting through the nail drying process, due to the constant demand of the kiddos. Even though I needed to apply 3 coats total – 2 color, 1 top coat – I was ALMOST able to complete my manicure before someone needed their diaper changed.

I used thin coats, so they dried quickly and relatively evenly, with some minor imperfections. The Crystal Top Coat has beautiful #iridescent flecks, that shine like opals. I worked a 4 hour shift at a clothing store today, and with a lot of clothing/hanger handling, plus the day to day of mom life, there is only minor wear at the tips of my nails, but it’s only notible if you’re really looking for it.

The shape of the brush is rounded and flattened, to give a closer, cleaner application. Overall, I’d give this nail polish an 8/10, but I would give the top coat 10/10. Sally Hansen is one of my favorites.

I got this product complimentary from Influenster and sally hansen in exchange for my honest review. I got the color sugar fix and the topcoat color of Crystal. The colors were definitely pretty so that was a nice plus.

As you can see in the pics, the second pic shows each color with one coat. It is very sheer so definitely you need two coats for it to completely cover your nails. The third pic shows each nail with two coats which covered nicely.

The pointer nail has the sugarvfix with the Crystal topcoat on top and it is very pretty with a nice sparkle. It dries pretty quickly too which is another plus. What I did not like about these is that the polish scrapes off your nail pretty easily so there was not a long period of staying power.

Also, the wand of the brush is like a flat piece of glass with the bristles at the end. I personally did not like this and found it difficult to get the wand in and out of the bottle. I much prefer round wands which go in and out of the bottle much easier.

The polish and the topcoat were also not super shiny like other polishes. I found them both to be a little matte, than super shiny. I prefer more shiny and glossy. Just my preference though. The polish did come off easy with nail polish remover which was nice.

Overall, this was just ok. I do appreciate the opportunity to test it out. Thank you @sallyhansen and @influencer.

I was incentivized with this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat from @Sally_Hansen and @Influenster for my use and open and honest review of this product. First, let me start by saying that because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis, my nails are brittle and break easily they also have deep ridges, making my nails look even worse.

After saying that, this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and Top Coat didn’t seem to work on my nails that well. I used the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel as a first coat, meaning at least three coats. Then I waited overnight to put on this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat.

Maybe it was because I put on too many coats, but that is why I waited overnight; when I went to put on this top coat, it seemed to mess with the first coat, and the first coat started coming up, and the top coat seemed to get lost.

This isn’t the actual color I’m reviewing I couldn’t find the tag for it. But they look similar. The one I have is Gaia. It’s more red/orange/with brown tones. I’ve noticed the color is very popular in style at the moment, especially in the lipstick category.

It’s truly really pretty, the picture doesn’t exactly do it justice. Overall this brand the color exceeded my expectations— I didn’t think I was going to even like it. But the exact opposite happened!! I’m in love.

It glides on nicely, so easy to use, you also can just use one coat, it covers, or it can be built up with more coats. I did 4 coats because I wanted to see if it would dry or how long it would take.

Yes it did dry and amazingly enough only took 1minute under the nail lamp/dryer. I am going to go check out more colors. I hope the price tag won’t break my bank. 😅 I received this one in my Ipsy subscription box.

Best base coat ever. Fight me. I use a nail-strengthening base coat and then this one on top. It fills all ridges on my nails and makes my polish go so nicely on top of my nails. Looks like a professional did my polish.

I love looking at my nails when I use this base coat! I will continue to repurchase.

This is the perfect polish/shade for a your nails but better look. It looks so natural, almost undetectable, but enhances your fingernails, much like a filter does on social media platforms. I can’t speak to the effectiveness of it as a treatment, but it does fill ridges and provide a nice matte canvas for polish, if desired.

I am so shocked to see so many reviewers saying this doesn’t work for them. I guess I’m very fortunate. I have NEVER found a polish or acrylic that works for me until this one. Polish usually chips within 24 hrs and acrylics lift within 7 days.

I had a nail technician tell me it’s because I have very oily nail beds. But the OPI Infinite Shine system has done wonders for my nails! I’m terribly impatient and usually have a hard time sitting still until polish dries.

This dries so quickly it’s never a problem. I can do my fingers and toes an hour before bed and wake up to shiny nails with no sheet marks at all. I can easily go a week on my fingers and 3 weeks on my toes without needing any touch ups at all.

When I do have a little wear on the tips I just use a very fine grit buffing block and knock the shine off, put a new coat of polish on over the existing polish and top off with the top coat and it looks like I have a brand new manicure! I will also say this is the most forgiving top coat I’ve ever used.

If I accidentally touch the polish and have a little smudge the top coat smoothes it right out. It also gives my nails strength. It’s nothing for me to break a couple of nails a day when not wearing polish.

With this I rarely break a nail. My favorite nail product of all time!.

Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there.

Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights.

I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers.

This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner.

For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! The pictures show two coats of polish but do not depict how bright the color really is. 8-14-21 UPDATE: The more I use Rosy Future the more I like it.

I have been using it for 2 years now. It has become my favorite light-neutral pink.

I’ve used OPI products since I was a little girl. It’s long been a favorite nail care brand of my mother’s. She went through many years where she would only wear I’m not really a waitress, I still associate that color with that ideal woman we always wanted to be when we grew up.

So, when I was offered to participate in this cashback campaign, even though I had never used any of the infinite shine products, I knew I would love it. It’s even better than I thought!!! Alpine Snow is an old favorite color of mine but the blue color: To Be Continued is new to me.

TBC is a beautiful light baby blue that is mesmerizing! It would work in literally every season and I do think it would be beautiful on most skin tones. The OPI formula has always been a winner. Opaque in 2 coats, dries fairly quickly, and I’m really loving how shiny these are even before a top coat! 10/10 definitely would recommend and I plan to purchase many more colors from this line! #OPIInfiniteShinexUlta #ulta.

Being relatively tall at 6’2 can be helpful, when reaching for items on high shelves. Unfortunately low door frames, and cots can cause great discomfort. With me height isn’t the main issue, it’s the physical conduct my body has taken in its years.

Genetics is I play too. My back has good days, and others where pain is an issue. Spasms are the worst, and have been incurred mostly in rugged conditions camping. Thank goodness for this Advil ibuprofen.

Taking two of these liquid capsules, definitely helps dissolve faster. That means it gets to the pain receptors in an expedited fashion. This brand for whatever reason seems fastest and most effective.

I am happy to say, this one should be one that you should consider. No side effects other than relief, and it’s not the cheapest, but it’s not the most expensive either. You can find this at plenty of stores as well.

OPI is my go to nail polish when I do my own nails at home. The color options are fantastic and this shade Throw Me a Kiss is so pretty. You have to see this shade in person. It’s an iridescent light pink.

I tested it without a base coat so even with three coats I can still see the whites of my nail underneath. Next time I try this I will put a base coat underneath. I work with my hands everyday and nail polish does tend to chip pretty easily for me.

I tried this without a top coat and it did chip within 2 days. I also did try it with the OPI top coat and it did last about 5 days for me which is great. I love changing up my nail colors especially in the spring and summer and I do recommend this shade.

It is neutral and goes with everything, but also has that shine that gives it that little extra touch of being different.

This one was quite impressive. I really liked the color, so I thought I would try, though I generally don’t bother with even a clear coat. I am always cleaning, working in the garage or some other random thing and beating up my hands.

This stuff is hanging on for dear life, and I just used one coat, by itself. Most pertinent to me, is that it isn’t chipping. That is why I don’t even wear clear coats, generally. If I sense one bit of a potential chip, I take to picking it all off.

This product more or less faded around the edges and never chipped. The color is very cool – it looks completely different in different lights. I would definitely purchase more from this range.

This is the first time I have ordered from Beyond polish. I was excited to try all the products I ordered. The first time I used the bottom coat it bubbled and did not lay flat or smooth. I thought it was my nails, so i removed the coating and buffed and used a nail strengthener for about a week and a half.

Last night I tried again and the bottom bubbled again and the color used seperated on my nails. I am very disappointed in the product and probably wont use the site again, as when I looked up why this would happen, several sites said it is due to old thick polish.

I will go to a beauty store from now on. I am very disappointed in my purchase.

I will preface this review by disclosing; I am not good at home manicures/pedicures! I tried to duplicate the Shellac manicure I had in the salon. I bought the curing lamp and all the supplies. I applied all the CND products; base coat, polish, and this top coat.

I cured and allowed time to dry between layers. When I was done I stayed still for an hour so I wouldn’t mess it up. When I finally got off the sofa, my toenails picked up lint off the carpet, and my fingernails did as well.

I was able to take a facial wipe and get it off, but then it wasn’t as shiny as it had been. It definitely did not look very good. It could be I got it on too thick? It was also extremely difficult to get all the product off when it was time to redo.

I also tried to use this top coat with regular polish; reading on the internet that this could be done if you let everything dry completely before applying; making it easier to remove. It again stayed tacky until I used a wipe and washed my hands.

Won’t use again.

This is one of my favorite Spring/Summer colors. It applies beautifully with great opaque color pay-off. I always get compliments on this one. I use nothing but CND shellac for my mani’s, as it is the gentlest with easy removal.

I have found that some colors wear better than others, for some reason, even with exact method used. This is one that I always get a good two weeks of wear.

A vampy, shimmery red which has become a new favorite! OPI has carried this shade for a long time, and I can see why it’s so popular. As it’s a lacquer, you can be guaranteed more durability and chip-resistant nails! The color is a mix of dark pink and red, and the result is the glorious warm red shade with a slight shimmer.

I find this color looks very elegant when I wear it, and it can easily be worn for both a casual and special occasion. I usually apply a top coat to my nails but as the formula is slightly thicker, you can go without.

Just 2 coats and my nails last a good week or two without chipping! The large application brush is also easy to apply and spreads the lacquer evenly across the nail without any extra drip. I am usually a red lip wearer, but wanting a subtle change, I opted for this shade, and happy I did! Would definitely recommend it.

The thin formula is easy to apply to the nail, and even looks quite nice alone for a natural manicured look. The brush is nice and wide, making it easy to get big even strokes on the nail. It also dries within only 5 or so minutes! Once dry, polishes from any brand layer on beautifully.

It also can be layered on in order to help fill nail ridges, bumps, or what-have you. The base also has a very very light reddish tint which helps neutralize any yellow staining from heavy polish use.

PRO TIP: Be sure to paint the tips of your nails, brushing it perpendicular to the front tip of your nail. my polish lasts three weeks and never chips from my fingertips because of this (for topcoat, use Poshe – it is hands down the best.

[brand:dior] Vernis Nail Lacquer #917 Paradox! The finish, brush quality and good hold of this varnish are the same as most of [brand:dior]’s. Removing it is a little more difficult than a cream, in two layers is ideal, I apply the top traditionally.

I put on nail wraps a couple of days ago that I had gotten from amazon and I am kicking myself right now for not using my CND weekly top coat on them. They are already chipping and look like they need to be redone.

I use these nail wraps a lot because they are super affordable. Usually I use a top coat and they last at least a week. This time I didn’t and in just a couple days they don’t look good. The CND top coat is my absolute favorite!!!.

This CND Vinylux nail polish in Denim Patch lasted almost the week which for me is great. It did chip a bit sooner than my goto routine using Julep polish and Seche Vite topcoat but this would definitely be a second place product in my book.

I have tried many, Essie and Opi to name two others, and they only last a day or two before peeling and chipping begins. This product was easy to apply and dried down nicely and quickly with no streaks after two coats.

One coat was enough for most nails but some were still streaky so i added the second coat. It also wasnt so thick with the two coats that it peeled off prematurely. I have tried this product twice now with similar results and am confident in recommending it to others.

Also the color Denim Patch was a nice jean blue color and more suited for Fall than Spring in my opinion and cant wait for the cool crisp days of Fall to wear this alot more. I received a sample in exchange for my honest review.

First the polish: I received Decadence and applied it on Saturday evening. The color was fantastic and went on smoothly with no streaks or excessive running in two coats. The brush was a wide brush with the right amount of flex to the bristles that was perfect for application.

Second the Top coat: Went on just as smoothly and evenly as the polish with a high shine as result. These things I loved about the polish and top coat however that was all that I can recommend about them.

The polish took an extraordinarily long time to dry. It was almost 45 minutes before I wanted to attempt to apply the second coat and the top coat almost as long. By Sunday night it was already showing signs of chipping on my right index finger and thumb and by Monday night chipping on my left middle finger.

Not long wearing at all. I love CND sticky base coat so I was excited to try this long wear formula but sadly I have been very disappointed i this product.

I recommend using the China Glaze topcoats and base coats when using their polishes; they play well together, giving an extra layer of protection. Their top coat is everything you will need to seal in your manicure and make it last until your next appointment or touch-up.

The Fast Forward topcoat also helps the polish dry quicker, preventing smudging and accidents leading to re-dos. I highly recommend the China Glaze Fast Forward Topcoat, a great product that will extend the life of your gorgeous manicure.

Really wasn’t a fan of this. It’s not long lasting, and doesn’t provide the protective barrier that I personally need. For someone with short nails, maybe this does meet their needs. But I have very long nails and I have tried many products to determine what protects them.

And this just wasn’t it. And I feel this way about China Glaze as a brand. You get what you pay for.

It does it’s job as far as drying your polish quick! The downside is that it doesn’t help it last any longer. If you need something for that, I don’t recommend this. If cutting down drying time is your goal then this is your go to.

It’s also worth noting that very often, I find it’s best to stick to base and too coats that match the formula of the brand of polish you use, so typically it’s best to use the same brands of each.

(’22) I began using natural base coat by OPI, during the pandemic. I wanted something to use that would kind of stay on longer. I ran into TJ Maxx looking thru their beauty section and found this. Most nail salons used this brand.

OPI lasts long, the smell isn’t overwhelming to your nose. The shine was ok until I forgot to put gloves on while cleaning. Gently push cuticles back, clean nails and apply to your nail bed for shine you want.

You can find OPI almost anywhere. Keep out of reach of children. I would recommend to anyone.

First off you can not go wrong with OPI polish! I have been getting my nails done for years and, have never had ANY complaints at ALL. This top coat is no different! No bubbles, no chipping, nice shine, drys quickly.

Off the topic a tad I actually bought OPI for dogs nails. One-2 coats is all it takes and, it drys so fast! Faster then human OPI polish. I bought it years ago so Idk if they still sell it. My China rocked in her silver glitter nails lol.

But, If your looking for a super quality top coat or color, you Can’t go wrong with OPI, it’s hands down the Best! Highly recommend.

I love the thickness of the polish and I also love the fact that its a base and top coat so I don’t have to use two different polishes. I used it quite often when I used regular polish instead of gel.

I would recommend, O. P. I never lets me down I love the shine for it to be regular polish, it beats the more cheaper counterparts if I should say so. The best thing about it is it stays on for a few weeks and the shines is like diamonds dancing on your color.

I don’t remember where I purchased it from but I know I used it at home and had salon type results. I’m a very happy customer with this brand.

Wonderful, I love using these product . Use to apply. This is a really pretty color and it is easy to apply. I 100% improve of this item. I really thing you should get / try this. I recommend others.

I disagree with the previous posters. While I have only been wearing it for a week, I have had no problems with it lifting. I have tried RCM & IBD, and so far, this is the only brand of base coat I have tried that HAS NOT lifted almost immediately.

I do notice a little wear on my tips, but that is because I have been doing some heavy weeding in the garden. I can live with a little wear, so long as it doesn’t lift. So far, I have been using my IBD polish and top coat with it, but think I might purchase the Progel top coat to see if I have fewer problems with the wear.

It does apply very thinly, but again, I like that because it makes the nails look more natural (and I assume why I have had no issues with lifting). I am giving this 4 stars because I have only been wearing it a week, and so it is too early to tell if this will be my go to gel base.

However, so far so good.

I thinks its a very unique and workable product its anazibg to appky and ut easy to use drys up really fast, you could improve this by less of the smell, a pro is uts amazibg and a con is it is smelly, when you put it on also i would recommend this to someone and its amazing.

Its ancawsome product to use and buy.
