20 Best Toothpaste For Weak Enamel (2023 Updated)

At my dentist’s recommendation, I started using this product twice-a-day several years ago (I use Aquafresh after lunch because you’re only supposed to use Pronamel twice a day). It took a year, but gradually I lost all hot/cold sensitivity.

Now, I can drink hot tea or eat ice cream with total impunity; I don’t even hesitate anymore. Again, it happened gradually over a year or so, but my teeth are now a beautiful natural white. My dentist explained that tooth yellowing may be due to staining but is more often due to thinning enamel allowing the yellow of the materials below it to show through.

Most importantly, my dentist can measure the thickness and hardness of my enamel and he comments every time on how healthy my enamel is.

I was told by my dentist to try Pronamel Daily Protection for my sensitive teeth. So I got it and was going to give it a try. This toothpaste has a nice minty flavor, no funny taste. After trying it I thought I’d try some ice cold water.

Usually ice cold water would make my teeth hurt. So when I drank the water it hurt just a little. I was okay with that. The more I used it the less my teeth hurt. That made me so happy because now I was able to enjoy cold drinks and foods without pain.

Been using this for years. I switched to sensodyne because I kept getting sores in my mouth from the sodium laryl sulfate which is meant for washing your car that you find all the major brands like aquafresh, crest etc.

some sensodyne products have it as well. But since the change I have yet to have a single sore. My enamel is good and strong my teeth are clean feeling all day unless I have a bunch of sugar. Could not recommend anything else my only gripe is I wish it was more affordable for every consumer.

I actually use the Lemon Lavender flavor, not the Ela Mint. I love that there is no heat to it, so when I have canker sores, brushing doesn’t burn. I started using Boka brand toothpaste going through chemotherapy due to severe mouth dryness and mucositis (chemo induced sores and ulcers) but I noticed that it completely eliminated my sensitive teeth! You know that feeling when you bleach your teeth? It’s not an issue with this paste as the paste actually remineralizes your teeth.

I was excited to try this product, I actually purchased a trio of toothpastes to see which I liked best. My product never arrived! Due to supply chain issues of one of the toothpastes I got refunded, although due to the wording of the email I thought I would still be receiving the other two.

I never did. I’m not sure why I didn’t get to at least keep the rest of my order. I reached out twice to customer service with promises to “look into it” I never heard back. To this day I never got to try any of the products! I was pretty disappointed.

Oh how I love me some Sensodyne. I don’t love the prices. Typically seven dollars for a bottle but it is high quality. I’m just a cheap skate. It works wonders for those who have temperature sensitivities(and/or a sweet tooth.

) It keeps your enamel in check as well as prevents cavities. Your teeth just feel cleaner and stronger after using it. I learned an awesome tip from my dental hygienist and have been doing it since.

After I told her I use sensodyne because I drink coffee like it’s my job she told me to maximize the effects I should leave the sensodyne on without rinsing my mouth with water. Meaning I should brush them as usual but when I am done just spit out the toothpaste and do not give it a final go around with water.

This way it seals the toothpaste on and lasts longer. I swear by this technique now and am no longer in pain!.

This has been my new go to forever since I found it and tried it. For me, Sensodyne is great for sensitive teeth. Over the last few years mine has gotten very sensitive and I started to try every toothpaste out there to try to find something that would help.

This toothpaste gets my sensitive teeth clean and helps with the sensitivity I have. I love the fresh clean feeling that I have after brushing and it doesn’t make me dread doing it. I love the foaming little bubbles that get between my teeth and on my gums and cheeks.

They are all clean after my routine brushing and they feel so good without being as sensitive as they were. I do recommend Sensodyne to my friends. It is a bit more expensive then the regular toothpaste, but for me it’s so worth it!.

I can tell a difference when eating both hot and cold drinks, I didn’t suffer excessively with sensitive teeth but if something was really hot or cold I would. The toothpaste is thick, creates the right amount of lather when brushing without being too much, no dribbles lol.

It has a fresh mint taste however the after taste isn’t over powering at all so doesn’t impact your first coffee of the morning – winner!! I’ve tried countless different toothpaste over the years and haven’t had the results like I have had with the ProNamel – Intensive Enamel Repair Whitening by Sensodyne! My teeth are on the sensitive side so being able to whiten the teeth while repairing the enamel is awesome! The flavor I choose was Arctic Breeze.

I expected it to be a blast of cold mint but it turns out it was just a “breeze”. When applying it to the teeth, it has a more loose consistency than others. It also has an almost fizzy like texture while brushing and definitely gets into the nooks and crannies.

When you’re done brushing, you’re left with a fresh, squeaky clean smile and no after effects. As a coffee drinker, I expected it to take a longer time to brighten my smile BUT in just about a week, my teeth have already gone to a brighter shade of white! I’m super impressed! Ever since I learned how important it is to use “low abrasion” toothpaste to protect enamel, I have always checked to make sure my toothpastes are on the low abrasion list. Why? Because this ensures that the toothpaste is gentle and doesn’t damage teeth.

There aren’t that many on the list, but Sensodyne Pronamel happens to be on the list. This toothpaste has a fresh mint flavor, though I didn’t find that the freshness was super long-lasting. It did do a great job of making my teeth feel clean and smooth however.

It has other benefits as well such as remineralizing teeth and helping against sensitivity. I think it’s a great toothpaste to use to undo some of the damage done by enamel erosion and it still provides fluoride to protect against cavities as other toothpastes do.

It definitely works my teeth were stronger, shinier and whiter. It doesn’t have a harsh taste either which I hate in some toothpastes. It wasn’t overwhelming or leave you feeling sensitive like some do.

I recently purchased this on special offer and although it is still a lot more than I usually spend on a toothpaste I wanted to try something for my ongoing sensitive tooth problems. I have tried various other products with no positive effects.

As the enamel has worn from some of my teeth after some research I chose this and I’m glad I did. I’ve only been using it around a week and have already noticed a decrease in the sensitivity of my teeth.

I can’t say whether or not it has restored my enamel but it is definitely doing some good. It has a nice taste and I’m happy to continue to use it and purchase again if the results remain positive.

This is THE BEST toothpaste I have used. It is a little pricey so always worth while checking eBay and Amazon. I am always complimented on my smile, how beautiful my teeth look. With this toothpaste I don’t require any whitening.

Regenerate enamel science toothpaste lived upto its name as it worked to salvage my teeth from gradual erosion brought about by hormonal fluctuations. For the record -it’s just the fifth week of usage.

Initial difficulty – slight tingling and chemical kind taste – lasted for just two days before the oral environment began to feel more wholesome and healthy. I have been noticing improvement in the density of jagged tooth ends and lesser overnight coating on the tongue too.

It has also managed to take care of sensitivity issues. I will surely recommend it.

I bought this product because I needed something that would help with sensitive teeth, helps produce enamel and whitens teeth all at the sametime. You only need a very little. It helped alot with my sensitive gum issues and whitened my teeth.

Tastes like toothpaste. mint. Works well for sensitivity. Besides that it does what any toothpaste will do. Helps make your breath smell fresh and helps clean your teeth. Not much else to say. It’s toothpaste.

Sure I would recommend if you have sensitive teeth. As for the enamel portion, any toothpaste with fluoride will help protect your enamel. It’s impossible to rebuild enamel though so any toothpaste that claims that just wants your money.

Better to protect it while you have it.

I’ve been using this toothpaste for many years. My dentist recommended this for sensitive teeth. The scent not strong. It helps with painful sensitivity to anything I eat. Especially something very cold or hot and sweet.

It Also helps not to get cavities.

I have gingivitis. I have tried ALL sensodyne types since my dentist suggested me to use this brand. Pronamel fresh breath is the only one that works for me. Others (and other gum aid brands) leave a patina in my mouth which in time transforms is a yucky gunk stuff.

I must admit I do have a bit of an OCD when it comes to my teeth after my father losing his at 25 and having to wear false teeth his whole life so it makes me determined to keep mine as long as possible, so I do try everything to find the very best protection but to be honest, I find that basic is best so was delighted when two of these tubes popped through my door to replace my usual brand.

Having already tried the Arm and Hammer Charcoal toothpaste I was singularly unimpressed as my teeth are neither whiter or feel any cleaner or less sensitive and the same goes for this toothpaste unfortunately – I think with most of these tests, it is very hard to quantify in only a few short months and you really need a year or more to ascertain if there is any improvement, partly because I am always cynical at expensive products that make big claims as 99% of them have truly failed when I have wasted money on them.

This toothpaste from a quick perusal of the usual popular websites is not really that expensive compared to other well known brands and to be far it does taste very nice but I have noticed zero effects on sensitivity; particularly with one of my teeth which has been overly sensitive to cold drinks and ice cream for years if not decades so I am basing it on that as it feels exactly the same after a month of using this.

To me it is another toothpaste – nice flavour , keeps the teeth nice and clean but that is about it and I feel that 99% of the toothpastes on the market; if not all of them are really just the same and much like the fad for multi-blade razors with lubra-strips, heaters and inbuilt French tickler, they are just the same and it is just another buzzword like Hyalluronic acid to sell a basic product that really needs no gimmicks to sell it but I guess the great unwashed will be inveigled into buying anything with a fancy title or gimmick.

I have felt a huge difference using this toothpaste from the very first use. It was the first time I used Arm & Hammer. My teeth felt much cleaner and lighter from the baking soda. You notice a slight shine over the days using it.

My teeth were a little yellowish because I drank a lot of coffee and it helped to whiten. I felt pain in one tooth before starting to use the toothpaste, after a week I no longer felt pain, the sensitivity of my teeth decreased, I can now brush my teeth with ice water, it no longer needs to be warm, and I went back to drinking cold drinks It greatly improved the health of my gums, because before I used to bleed sometimes and with the use of toothpaste, this bleeding started to decrease.

I recommend this toothpaste and will continue using it. It’s worth the quality and price.

No more sensitive teeth for me thanks to arm and hammer sensitive pro toothpaste. After trying out this toothpaste for a couple of weeks I can feel a difference in my teeth, definitely less sensitive.

I have been able to have ice cream without that sharp pain in my teeth. They also seem to be whiter and generally cleaner, I’m a big coffee drinker and have definitely noticed less staining! I have a terrible habit of eating ice, I did it before I had sensitive teeth and stopped but since testing the toothpaste it’s been much less sensitive and I can enjoy the crunch of ice ice baby! I also like the pink and gold colouring of the box and tubes, also it’s great that the boxes are recyclable!.

Well, I can’t say for certain if it repairs in just a couple weeks use; however, it does whiten in a short amount of time and it does have all the same active ingredients as my prescription toothpaste for enamel repair.

That said, I think it is worth investing in for better teeth help. I have noticed it helps with the sensitivity as well as the whitening. I drink tea often and while my teeth are not yellow, they are not as white as they can be.

This doesn’t have a bad taste or strong taste of peroxide like many. It does have a nice minty flavor that isn’t overpowering. I’ve got zero complaints!.

Love that this is dye free, SLS free and a mild enough flavour that my kids can manage. I like that it strengthens enamel. It is very hard to find an SLS and dye free toothpaste that still has fluoride in it.
