20 Best Toothpaste For Teeth Whitening (2023 Updated)

I used Moon toothpaste for two months straight. I haven’t had a cavity in over 10years. The charcoal stripped my teeth of essential enamel and every single tooth has been left with decay. I have spent countless time and effort to maintain my smile.

I am absolutely horrified with this company. Upon further research, charcoal is NOT supposed to be used regularly. I am assuming you will have a lot of angry customers wondering why their teeth have been left decaying instead of strengthening.

Your trendy toothpaste is a scam.

I started using teeth whitener because I have dysmorphia on the color of my teeth. I always get compliments that my teeth are super white, but being a super picky daughter of a dentist, I need my teeth to look and feel their best always.

So that’s why I started using MOON. As someone who takes amazing care of her teeth and had her father whitening her teeth regularly, when the pandemic hit I needed the extra help to get them to the perfect shade of white.

This toothpaste works well for me. No complaints. It fights all of my cocoa and soda stains everyday. I bought this at Ulta. I noticed results after a few weeks.

I bought this toothpaste because I liked the Moon whitening stick. The Toothpaste has had noticeably negative effects, though. It makes my teeth appear yellower, and I actually have sensitivity and pain which I’ve never experienced in my teeth before.

It’s what prompted me to come to the reviews. I have thrown the product out still 3/4 full and will go back to my previous whitening Toothpastes.

I have been using the activated charcoal toothpaste and I really like it. I got a free sample of the stain removal whitening toothpaste. I really like this too. So, now I use both. Moon products are great.

I’m in my late sixties and I did a lot of smoking, drinking red wine, and coffee most of my life. I didn’t expect miracles, but, I do see a subtle difference without the sensitivity. I’m really happy about that.

This paste is thick, some ingredients are common like the leading brands. There is something I find in this that works better than all the leading brands. Maybe its the dead sea or camu camu but this cleans my teeth without any tooth sensitivity like the other leave.

Fluoride strengthens the teeth so I order some with & some without to switch up. Bottle is tough to get the last squeeze from. Paste is thick & works better than leading brands.

I ordered the toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss. When it arrived, the mouthwash had leaked. I email support and they responded and sent me a new one right away. So customer support is really great.

So far the toothpaste and dental floss are awesome. The toothpaste leaves a nice minty taste in the mouth. And the packaging looks so good in my bathroom!.

I was gifted a tube of this amazing toothpaste 2 years ago. It’s not a daily use item but use for a couple days to get your desired whitening level then return to your regular toothpaste. I just finally needed a second tube and it’s awesome.

I had braces as an adult and LOVE coffee so this helped to keep my clear brackets clear/white and not brown from coffee. I have loved it since my braces were removed because it’s a super gentle whitening without the drying feeling on my teeth and actually cleans at the same time.

It also helped my husband’s coffee teeth and my son’s teeth when they became stained from tea drinking (he’s an old man trapped in a 9 yo body🤣). My dentist commented on how nicely it treats ALL of the teeth, not just the front couple.

Im not quite sure why I get recommended this product so often on here, but I just wanted to let everyone know who may be unaware that NuSkin is a Pyramid Scheme, often called an MLM. People have to pay to sell their products, and also are incentivized to recruit others to join, and most sellers actually LOSE money because of this predatory business model.

The average annual salary of an active distributor is only $176 a month, which is only $2000 a year (most sellers don’t even make that much anyway). NuSkin is also being sued for abuse of control, gross mismanagement, failing to maintain internal controls, and more.

Long story short just do not buy from them.

I’ve used this whitening toothpaste for several years and love it. I get compliments on my teeth all the time. What I love most, is that it doesn’t hurt my gums like other whitening products I’ve tried.

I use a small amount and only on my front teeth, after brushing with my regular toothpaste. I use it when I won’t be drinking anything for a while so it has time to work. One tube lasts me a few months.

I get tartar buildup between dental cleanings sometimes, so I always try to use a toothpaste that helps to reduce that stubborn tartar buildup that can be bothersome on my teeth. I like the performance of this product.

It does help to cut down on the amount of tartar buildup on teeth after frequent brushing. I enjoy the taste and am pleased with how white my teeth look and the reduced amount of tartar buildup that I notice.

I’d definitely recommend this brand.

I have to admit this toothpaste has a pleasant flavor. When teaching and helping my son learn to brush his teeth, this was his favorite. He always asked his dentist for the yummy toothpaste. Teaching him not to swallow it was fun because he liked it so well.

It always got his teeth clean and he kept great check ups while using it. As a mom. I really recommend it for younger kiddos.

I really liked this tooth paste, perfect amount of “suds” when you’re brushing. My mouth feels good after. I had been buying the crest 3D whitening line but I like this way more!! I’ll keep buying this.

I always felt like the 3D whitening toothpaste was dry? Not sure. But I’m happy with this toothpaste, makes my mouth feel fresh. Pleasant tooth brushing experience.

This was the perfect product for me to try because I have SUPER sensitive teeth! I have a partial in both of my front teeth and quite a lot of sensitivity in the surrounding area. and pretty much all drinks require a straw!) When Sensodyne sent me a full size tube of their True white toothpaste for free I couldn’t wait to try it out!!! I have been using it now for about 3 weeks (twice daily) and here’s what I have experienced.

First, I really liked that it was not overly spicy or minty. It’s just the right amount of mint to leave your mouth feeling nice and fresh. The first week I didn’t feel there was a notable difference in sensitivity, but well into week two I started to notice that my teeth were feeling a little less sensitive.

I was actually able to give my travel straw a much needed rest! That was a huge plus for me! However, the thing that I was bummed about is that it made the inside of my mouth peel. A lot. I do also wish the tube was a bit bigger, BUT I was surprised at how long it has lasted.

A little goes a long ways. Lastly, I cannot say I’ve noticed a difference in the whitening of my teeth, but I’m not entirely convinced that any toothpaste can do that. Maybe over continued use that will happen.

All and all, because it HAS helped my sensitivity, I will likely continue to use. I have already recommended this to some friends, but I do let them know that it may make the inside of their mouth peel.

This Tom’s of Maine Fluoride-Free Antiplaque & Whitening Toothpaste in the Peppermint flavor works great. I already saw results after just a couple of uses. My teeth really look whiter and have less stains on them.

It is easy to use and the toothpaste really cleans and whitens your teeth without chemicals. This is a lot easier to use than the whitening strips or other whitening systems because you don’t have to wait half an hour or longer to see the results.

While you are brushing you are cleaning your teeth and whiten them at the same time. After using it for a couple of days my teeth and mouth felt a lot cleaner and smoother like after going to the dentist when you have your teeth cleaned.

Stains and discolorations on my teeth are fading and they look brighter. The toothpaste also refreshes your breath and has a nice fresh minty flavor. I just really like this toothpaste and love that it doesn’t contain any harsh ingredients.

This charcoal fluoride-free toothpaste by Burt’s Bees is the first oral hygiene product that I have tried from Burt’s Bees. #gotitfree #trywithtopbox I’m usually a full-fluoride kind of brusher, but thought I’d give this “more natural” paste a try.

Boy was I disappointed. This toothpaste is grey. It leaves an unattractive mess in my sink after I’m done brushing but doesn’t stain my teeth. Neither does it seem to remove stains either, though, after a week of twice a day brushing with this paste, my teeth look no different.

The biggest difference for me with this toothpaste is the mouth feel. It doesn’t foam up like a traditional paste, so I don’t get that full mouth fresh feeling that I do with my normal paste. It’s just kind of.

slimy. and acts mildly abrasive to the teeth. While it is minty, it’s very very subtle and does nothing for my breath. Mouthwash absolutely mandatory after this paste. I don’t really like this toothpaste.

It doesn’t freshen my breath, nor does it leave my teeth squeaky clean. They’re no whiter, either. This paste would be a good option if you have an aversion to fluoride (I don’t) or if you prefer a really mild minty paste, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’ve been using this for about a month now and I like it alot. I like itvway better then HELLO. One thing that is a pro is that it’s not super dark like hello and it dose not get all over the sink and counter like hello does.

The taste is great to I love peppermint so that was a plus. Seems to ladt a long time to as far as keeping my mouth fresh. Also I still get that clean teeth feeling like I just came from the dentist with this.

I was worried I wouldn’t because it’s not the powder charcoal I was use to. Most of all I do notice my teeth getting white. It’s a process definitely not overnight but as long as your consistent I can see the difference.

I had been happily using your non-charcoal toothpaste with fluoride for a while now. No artificial sweeteners in a toothpaste that is ADA accepted is hard to find. I was even more glad because I like what your company stands for….

It baffles me that you would choose to only make kids toothpaste (with crazy fruit flavoring) or a charcoal toothpaste that contain fluoride. All during Covid, I suffered through using the (icky) kids toothpaste or buying fluoride-free because I assumed the lack of availability was due to Covid shortages.

Now, I’ve discovered that you stopped making it on purpose… and I just thought you should know that I intend to buy the (icky) kids toothpaste only until I find another brand to switch to. It always astounds me when companies decide to discontinue a product that people love….
