20 Best Toothbrush For Whitening Teeth (2023 Updated)

I’ve oscillated (no pun intended) between the Braun Oral-B brushes and the Philips Sonicare line for decades. Something about the sonic vibrations has always felt a little weird eg) tickling sensation on the gums etc.

But every time I switch back to the sonicare from the Braun, I am reminded of how smooth and clean and slippery my teeth feel afterwards. They both work great, but the sonicare seems to do a bit better job when it comes to gums and polish.

But after the last 3 years with a top of the line Braun, I just couldn’t handle that gunk that forms at the bottom of the braun toothbrush and on top of the charging dock. No matter what I did, even if I fully hand washed the brush after each brushing, water would seemingly drip down, pool up on the charger, and then form a gross gunk, and after I switched to a charcoal toothpaste it got progressively more disgusting.

I was washing my charger at least every 3 days and it was gross! I went on a quest to find a power toothbrush that had a better design. Last time I used a sonicare it had the same style charger as the braun and the same gunk problem.

I found a japanese import model, the panasonic DOLTZ that had a clever ring hanger for the brush, but it was over 300 bucks with shipping and import tax so i kept looking. When I saw that philips introduced the glass cup charger I was like omg this is it! if it does end up getting gunky i can throw the glass in the dishwasher once in a while, so I took the plunge on this model.

I’m not quite sure what the differences are between the models other than the accessories. I don’t travel often so I probably didn’t need to get the travel case, although it is very nice and sleek. This model came with a ton of brushes which i believe is why it’s more expensive than the similar models.

But once you take into account the travel case and the tons of spare brush heads, this model ends up being a good deal! Especially when you can find it on sale, like I did before christmas 2021. It’s also very slender and sleek and made of a soft touch luxury plastic material.

this new model doesn’t drip liquid all the way down to the bottom like the old ones either. I believe the small gap between the brush head and the main unit does a good job in stopping the dripping, although this gap will have to be cleaned once in a while, so far I haven’t noticed any gunk build up and it’s been almost 3 weeks! I really love the thoughtful design of the charger and brush, it feels luxurious and I get that classic smooth clean tooth feeling after using it that you’re used to.

I highly recommend it!.

My wife recently bought a Triple Bristle for each of my boys after hearing about it from a friend. She worked in the dental industry for years so when she saw the brush, she thought it might get our boys to brush their teeth.

She thought it might make it fun for them and then if they did not brush for a long time at least all sides of their teeth would be covered. So we get the toothbrushes and after a few nights of tickling their teeth and laughing about it, they ended up loving the brush.

No more brushing battles in our home. So, I told my boys that we should each write a review on the website so that the Dentist who invented the Triple Bristle would be happy to hear that the two of you like his toothbrush.

I purchased the triple pack for the family. I wasn’t convinced the toothbrush would be used by my 14 year old. To my surprise he is really into brushing his teeth. The entire family is amazed with how well the brush cleans your teeth.

We all stated on separate occasions how Our teeth feel like they do after a dental cleaning. And yes, the toothbrush will take a minute to master. Hang in there, you’ll be amazed too.

I think the Electric Toothbrush is doing a good job cleaning my teeth! I don’t believe it’s that much better than a regular tooth brush. Maybe a little better but nothing you can’t live without. I guess the bristles moving while I’m brushing my teeth are getting the dental plaque off but I can not prove it! The instructions said it will stop after a certain amount of time if you leave the tooth brush on the same spot.

I haven’t experimented to see if that’s true but as I’m moving the tooth brush while brushing my teeth, it does stop for a second or so just about every time I use it. Not sure why. Maybe the tooth brush is falsely sensing I’m brushing the same spot and it doesn’t have a perfect sensory to really tell but no big deal.

Do I recommend it. Yes😃. The caveat is it’s more expensive than a regular tooth brush and I believe by throughly brushing your teeth using a regular tooth brush will probably have the same effect😁.

I was very excited when I first got this brush that after just a few uses I bought my wife one as well. The brush itself was great – just a toothbrush like any other. But the ‘electric’ part was what we liked most.

The way it lets you know to switch to a different section is fairly unique and very appreciated. However, my brush died after about 1. 5 months and my wife’s a few weeks after that. And I don’t mean it died and needed it’s battery replaced, it completely stopped working.

We tried multiple brand new batteries, including non smile direct branded batteries. They’re just completely broken. Thankfully they still work like a normal brush, but it really stinks that they don’t turn on anymore.

And now we’re out of the 60 day return time and can no longer exchange/return them. Please keep in mind before you get one!.

Doing everything that’s coming to make my confident as a whole and here I am. I did the first six months and realized I may need a little longer to get them where I would be happy with. I am on my retouch up, now and trusting the process.

The moral of this story is do what’s right for you. No matter how long it may take. 6 mons, 1 yr or 5 years. As long as it got done and you’re satisfied. That’s what counts.

These are an excellent quality toothbrush, I’m quite literally shocked at how much fuzz this thing removed from my teeth the first time I used it, I really thought I was doing a good job brushing manually.

I love the duo charger stand, it’s perfect for me & my husband & matches our black & white bathroom. The only thing I will say is that I wish you could buy a left black or right black one – haha! I wanted the white one but my husband has the left sink so I ended up with black.

Probably for the best cause I use charcoal toothpaste sometimes but he wanted the black one too so too bad we couldn’t flip flop. We were not changing which sides of the sink we use to get our colors – LOL – that would have been too much of an undertaking.

Next time we move we can switch to our intended colors! Overall, impressed with the charger, the number of brush heads it came with etc. Travel cases are a nice touch too, but not sure how you’re supposed to charge on the go.

Maybe the battery lasts long enough to accommodate a vacation, not sure. Not the end of the world if it doesn’t travel well however because who knows when we’ll be able to travel again!.

This is my favorite toothbrush ever. I can never switch back to a manual toothbrush again. I have used cheaper versions of battery operated toothbrushes and this toothbrush blows them out of the water.

I like that the toothbrush has three modes, I stick with the clean setting for my first round of my mouth. After the toothbrush shuts off I go around with the gum massage setting. This toothbrush leaves my mouth feeling like I’ve just left the dentist.

My only issue with this toothbrush is the brief stop to alert you to switch to a different quadrant of your mouth is too fast, and I feel like I can’t stop to spit and do a quick rinse. There was a brief adjustment period to it, the first handful of times it seriously tickled my gums, but I no longer experience that.

I love that I don’t have to keep an eye on the clock or guess how much longer I have to spend cleaning my teeth. I have never loved a toothbrush this much before.

The AquaSonic Duo is a great set for a his/her combo set, looks awesome sitting on our counter with the 1 less cord to deal with. Nice modern clean look 3 options to have multiple cleaning preferences, cleaning, whitening and gum massage.

Being able to switch easily between them is a nice feature. And it has a good amount of power for each option giving the awesome clean feeling afterwards Love the travel case. Out other brushes didn’t have anything sanitary to keep the brushes from anything else and we had to wrap them up, this set has a sleek case for each brush.

The duo set even comes with ten brushes (5 for each), so this is a solid investment without having to get replacements soon. The only issue with our set is that 1 side of the duo charger doesn’t work.

So disappointed in that. We have to wait until one is done charging to charge the other and there’s not an option to buy just the duo charger.

I have had various electric toothbrushes over the years, both the ones that spin and the ones that vibrate. The Snow LED Electric Toothbrush uses the vibration method similar to it’s competitors. It has 4 modes that change the intensity of the cycle depending on your needs.

The packaging is elegant and the unit itself is well built and solid with a nice weight in hand. 1 extra brush head is included, although for the price point there should be 2 or 3. The charging base that was included only has a USB cable, so you’ll need a wall adapter to plug it in unless you have wall outlets with USB-A ports built in.

I’m sure the thought process was that it’s less bulky for travel, but a better solution would be a travel case with built in charging and a built in USB cable, similar to the competition. The differentiating feature for the Snow toothbrush is the blue light that is emitted from the head.

Snow started out as a teeth whitening system that used a “pen” to disburse whitening solution onto your teeth, then a few minutes using a mouth guard that emitted this same blue light. That system works very well for whitening.

I believe the intention with this toothbrush is to enhance that system and to also bring new people into the Snow ecosystem. As a stand alone teeth whitening solution, I don’t think this toothbrush would get you there.

Maybe over time, but the blue light alone isn’t what makes their other system work. It’s the solution you put on your teeth combined with the light. This would be a great compliment to the overall Snow system, but I don’t think it’s a whitening solution on it’s own.

As an electric toothbrush, it’s a nice option and does a nice job, on par with competitors at this price point. If the goal is purely to whiten teeth using this toothbrush, I think you will be disappointed and it’s a bit gimmicky in that regard.

But overall it does a good job as an electric toothbrush, so I deducted a half star for the odd charger setup and another half for only having 1 extra brush head.

The Snow electric toothbrush differs from the other electric toothbrushes out there by not only cleaning teeth, but also providing whitening function by the built-in LED light. That’s the feature I was mostly interested in after getting this brush.

Unfortunately that may be a long term effect as after using it for almost a month, I am yet to see any noticeable difference. Now that may differ from person to person, since in my case my teeth did not need any noticeable whitening to begin with.

Other than that the basic functionality of the toothbrush is as what it’s supposed to be. The “sonic” technology seems to work quite well in cleaning. The button let’s me choose from 4 different modes – clean, white, sensitive, and polish.

I have tried out all four, and did feel the difference in the vibration. I don’t have super sensitive teeth/gum so I’m not in the best position to judge whether “sensitive” mode is effective or not. The timer is useful to make sure all parts of the mouth are given equal attention- there’s a noticeable change in pulse to indicate I have done my 30 second brushing for each “quadrant” of the teeth so I can fully utilize my 2 minutes and do my due diligence.

The brush has a fairly long lasting rechargeable battery, and comes with a wireless charging base. However, only a USB charging cable is provided in the box – no charging brick. Now I understand the trend to get rid of “redundant” USB chargers (yes indeed I have a number of them lying around), but since I want to charge my toothbrush in the bathroom, I have to keep one near my sink which is not always ideal.

I wish for the price being charged for the toothbrush a well-designed “bathroom proof” wall charger would be appreciated. The kit comes with two “LED” brush heads, so that makes me supplied for the next 4-5 months, and I found the replacement brush-head price decent.

I would appreciate it more if there’s a cheaper “non-LED” option just in case you’re not interested in all these whitening functionality. A cloth travel pouch is also given, but I wish I had a solid travel case instead.

In summary, the Snow LED electric toothbrush is more relevant for people who want to use the LED whitening feature. Other than that it doesn’t have anything that set’s it far apart from regular electric brushes.

The people at snow have done a great job at delivering a greatly packaged product however packaging is not the most important thing when it comes to an electric toothbrush. The toothbrush includes 2 led heads a charging base and a USB c cable bur no charging brick.

Initially you must charge the tooth brush out of the box before its first use as indicated by the manufacturer. The main selling point that differentiates this electric toothbrush from others is the led brush head in order to enhance tooth whitening.

The toothbrush has a pre-set 2 minute timer with 30 second intervals that help indicate a switch to a different quadrant in your mouth. There are 4 different brushing modes which include clean, white, polish and sensitive.

This is where I had some issues with the toothbrush. The first time I used it the clean function was weaker than a $ 10 travel electric toothbrush you can buy at a drug store. After toggling through the modes and noticing that the other modes were much stronger the clean mode became stronger on the second cycle.

It seems as if the intensity of the modes seems to vary from day to day and the battery is fully charged. It seems as if this may be an inherent issue with the toothbrush itself so maybe the people at snow should focus a little more on quality control.

It is hard to tell if the led light will have any effect on the whitening process of my teeth in such a short period of time but I hope to provide an update in the future. When the motor seems to provide the right intensity of power during the clean cycle then your teeth come out feeling clean however since the performance of the brushing cycles has been inconsistent I do not think I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a new electric toothbrush.

The first thing that I noticed and loved about this electric toothbrush compaired to others that I have tried was that it was so much slimmer. I loved that because all the other electric toothbrushes I have tried have always been so bulky and are not at all comfortable to hold, unlike this toothbrush.

Since I started using this, I have noticed that my gums have not bleed like they have with some other brushes. I also feel like it definitely got more plaque off of my teeth than the toothbrush I was using before this.

I really enjoy the built in 2 minute timer so I know have have brushed for as long as I am supposed to. It is no longer a guessing game or an estimate. The replaceable head feature will be great in the future so that I do not have to go out and purchase a whole new toothbrush.

Some people do not realize how important it is to not just clean your teeth but your whole mouth. This toothbrush makes that so easy to do with the built in tounge and cheek cleaner.

I love the slim and simple design, and its so hard to find brush heads that are small like this one! I’ve used many electric toothbrushes but this is the first time i’ve felt like its JUST. TOO. MUCH.

The vibrations are so intense my mouth is honestly sore after using it! On many toothbrushes, just the bristles vibrate, but with this one, the whole brush shaft is shaking powerfully, and if you accidentally touch your tooth with anything but the brush, it hurts!! I think the bristles aren’t “soft” either as advertised, but it might just be the vibrations overpowering everything.

All in all super cute design and functional, but they need to tone it down a notch.

I also like the small head making it easier to clean in certain areas. They do offer a couple different heads that are interchangeable. I also like the fact it is light weight. The product states it removes 5x more plaque, I guess time will tell.

It is gentle on gums. The brush has sonic vibrations of 20,000 strokes/minute. I do wish it had a rubber sleeve for a better grip that could be removed for cleaning the handle. Other than that this product is great.

Legs and toes: I have shaved my legs for 40+ years, with dark thicker hair that was stubbly again within a day of shaving. After 1 treatment I could see hair was growing back sparsely and not as thick.

After 2 treatments my legs and toes were hair free. No stubble, amazing! Underarms: sparse light brown medium coarse hair which disappeared after 1 treatment Bikini line: 1 treatment saw a huge improvement and problem areas resolved after 2 treatments Face: Having suffered with PCOS I have noticeable facial hair, which is a mix of colours; dark (wiry), blonde (fine), white (wiry).

After 2 treatments my upper lip had very little re-growth. I had no white hairs there and it seems to have worked on the finer blond hairs and almost every dark hair after 5 treatments. The blonde hairs on my face have gone, but the very wiry dark and white hairs are still present.

I will persevere as I think the number of dark hairs is slowly reducing and possibly getting less wiry, but there is no effect whatsoever on white hairs (which I was expecting as per Philip’s guidance).

I never write reviews but felt I needed to for this as I trawled through reviews for weeks trying to decide if I should go for it or not. I was sceptical at the start and didn’t think it would work but took the plunge anyway as I was so sick of shaving every day resulting in shaving rash, ingrown hairs and itchiness, especially on my bikini area.

I have quite pale skin and very light brown hair on my legs and underarms and dark hair on my bikini area. After the first session I didn’t notice any difference (you’re not supposed to) so I was worried I’d wasted my money.

However, after the second session I started seeing amazing results under my arms, I havent had to shave under my arms since the first session!! My bikini line was patchy but I could see the hairs were starting to fall out (I did a Hollywood as i wanted it all gone).

The hairs on my legs were definitely growing slower and finer. I have just finished my 4th session and I genuinely don’t need to shave anywhere at all!! There are maybe one or two hairs on my bikini area but that’s because I’ve missed them when using the lumea so i just need to go back over them.

I’m absolutely shocked, I really didn’t think it would work, never mind to the point I feel like I could throw my razor away and never use one again. It takes a while to do everywhere but it’s so worth the effort.

I used it on setting 4 as that was what the skin sensor suggested for my skin. It was mostly painless, however there were a few times when it felt like i was being twanged with an elastic band. But it wasn’t bad enough to say it was painful.

Do not waste your money on this product. Please QVC stop selling Philips Sonicare. Let me start by stating I bought this on QVC a little over 2 years ago for $105. Totally understand the QVC warranty.

However, I reached out to Philips as the brush completely stopped working. First I was trying to see if maybe it needed a replacement part, etc. $105 is a lot of money for a tooth brush that lasts a little over 2 years.

It cost me nearly $50 a year for a toothbrush. Philips customer card is useless, I had to show them proof of purchase which QVC kindly provided to me only to tell me there is nothing they can do and my receipt did not constitute proof of purchase.

I was not looking for a free toothbrush, I simply was trying to see if this could be fixed. Customer service at Philips even refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Again no fault on QVC, but simply a loyal QVC fan requesting that you do not sell their products.

Products will break and when you are simply looking for assistance to see if the tooth brush is fixable and you are hung up, dismissed to talk to customer service and with all due respect having individuals working for Philips whose is English is insubordinate.

Please QVC do not sell their products. Kick them to the curb as that is what they when you reach out for help. Find a manufacturer with morals and values and sell their products. Very disappointed !.

I have had several electric toothbrushes over the years and always have had mixed results. The Philips Sonicare 2100 Power Toothbrush is no different – mixed results. The first thing you will notice (as with all the Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes) is that it built very well.

Fit and finish are top notch and the toothbrush is well balanced. For such relatively low initial cost, Phillips so confident in the quality that they give you a 2-year warranty. Battery life is most probably unbelievable.

I’ve only had the toothbrush for 3 days, but I own its predecessor and it was last weeks on end. Oddly enough, I had not used the older version in over 2 years, and it still held a charge when I used to compare it to the 2100.

Everything sounds good so far but let’s look at the mixed results part. There is nothing inherently wrong with design, but I find the vibrating only head a bit to much to bear. I also find that if I compared the vibrating head to a competitor’s rotating head (which I currently use,) I find the rotating head does a more thorough job at cleaning.

It’s not that the Philips Sonicare 2100 Power Toothbrush does not do a good job, I just find the competitor does a better job. Keep in mind that I do not have anything empirical to back that up, just a feeling that the rotating head design on the competition does a better job in the same time.

With that in mind, I am in a tough position for a review. The product is built well and some people may prefer the vibrating head design of Philips Sonicare 2100. However, if I had to recommend an electric toothbrush; I’d pick the competitions rotating head.

I have used an electric toothbrush for some time, and when the battery started to go on the old one, I decided to give the Sonicare a try. I have to say it’s a different experience and took a few days to get comfortable with it.

The Sonicare 2100 (new version) is light, compact, and hums a bit like an angry hornet, but it seems to do the job. Unlike my previous brush, the Sonicare moves the brush-head less but at an incredibly fast speed.

Once you learn to let it do its work and slowly move it rather than “brushing”, it works quite well. As stated, the Sonicare is light and compact, and it also seems well made. The battery life is stated as 14 days per charge, but I haven’t had it long enough to test that claim.

The new thing about charging is that it uses a USB connection on the cable, and Phillips does not include a charging block. They include a statement about saving the environment, but I’m guessing it’s also a way to keep the price down.

This is getting to be a trend with many products, and most of us have several USB chargers we can use. The price is well less than many electric brushes, but it does everything I want. It has a 2-minute timer that buzzes every 30 seconds.

It has a high-low intensity choice, and it has an optional two-week ramp-up in intensity if you need to get used to electric brushing. This is the “new version” Sonicare 2100, and that causes some confusion.

Really, Phillips? Just change the model number when you change the product. I had difficulty registering since their website seems a bit confused about the numbers. They offer a free brush-head, but that’s only if you sign up for a subscription to receive a brush every 3 months for $8 to $12 each, and it wouldn’t accept my discount code.

This deal reminded me a bit of the old printer days … sell the printer cheap and make you money on cartridges, so I just passed. That aside, it’s a good product at a good price which I can recommend.

It’s beautifully made and easy to clean. I used my favorite whitening pen and the tray for about 10 minutes and saw beautifully immediate whitening! I do you use the brush head with the paste and like that too especially when I’m busy and trying to get out the door.

it’s easy because it’s hands-free. I use the tray more often though. I’ll buy this again for gifts for my sisters for Christmas.

read all reviews and decided to purchase. I am a daily am coffee drinker and in 50s. want to whiten and maintain at home. followed instructions faithfully. in the earlier timeframe I expected faster results.

I personally found the whitening foam to be ineffective. I began replacing it with a home professional toothpaste that whitens and believe I saw some better results. also- in the past I used the go smile teeth whitening gel alone and altho strong, thought it worked amazingly well by itself.

since I have the device now I thought I might use a very small amount of that same gel with the device in hopes of fantastic results. (i need to buy some) so in the end i decided the machine was worth the price for me (offers, bonuses, points) and I am keeping it and am pleased.

I use this with the gel to keep my smile white and clean. I love how easy it is to use. It is like the old infomercial. Set it and forget it. I can pop this in and go about my morning. If you’re looking for easy look no further.

Then when I actually got it I was like “Oooohhhhhhhhh” 😃!! The past few years, I have been trying my best to be a smart conscious consumer by reducing my carbon footprints through carefully choosing eco-friendly products.

I very much like the idea of keeping things that are still functioning and disposing only what is needed. What’s great about this toothbrush is that the handle is made of aluminum cutting down plastic waste by 80% and I love the fact that the handle’s infinity shape is actually symbolic of the fact that it’s designed to last a lifetime.

Meanwhile, the brush heads are made to be disposed of after three months, to be exact. Super excited that I received the ‘gum renewal’ version of this brush as I’ve had some gum recession as of late.

Though I can’t speak to whether or not my gums have been renewed, I can say that the bristles were extremely soft and felt like a cloud compared to other toothbrushes I’ve used in the past. The Colgate Keep Gum Renewal Toothbrush will absolutely be my go to brush for the foreseeable future!.

Colgate Keep is a toothbrush that aims to reduce waste by giving you a handle for life, leaving only the head disposable. The aluminum handle itself is a nice weight and, despite it’s unorthodox design, sits nicely in my hand.

I *loved* how soft the bristles are (I’ve already bought a new replacement set even though the kit came with a spare) and my gums did not bleed. It honestly feels comparible to a make up brush in softness and bristle density, which can take some getting used to in comparison to traditional toothbrush bristles.

My concern (and thus only 4 stars) comes to the actual longevity of this product. How long does Colgate intend to make these heads for? In a world where innovation is constant, how long before they come out with a newer, shinier, “better” version of this product and, *POOF*, no longer making heads compatible with my handle and I have to switch over to a whole new system? For example, maybe they design compostable heads (which they *100%* should to eliminate the waste) – are they going to create them to be compatible with the original Keeps? I hope so.

I really wanted to love this toothbrush and in fact I do love the idea, however I feel like this brush needs to go back to the drawing board for some improvements. Upon first impression it looks very neat and the concept of 80% less plastic being used and only needing to purchase replacement heads instead of full toothbrushes sounds awesome.

Plus the toothbrush head itself looks awesome it’s a fluffy soft brush. However that fluffy soft brush didn’t seem to clean my teeth very well. After a good scrubbing my teeth still felt like they had grime on them.

Plus the cost of replacement heads is a little pricey compared to the cost of purchasing a full toothbrush. I also found that the aluminum handle hurt my hand and was awkward to use. So although it looked neat and the concept of never having to replace your handle sounds great it just wasn’t for me.

It’s also very difficult to remove the brush head, which could also be a good thing because you won’t have to worry about the brush head falling off in your mouth. The concept is here it just needs some improvements so for now I’ll stick with my electric toothbrush.

Let me start out by saying that i absolutely love my Spinbrush toothbrush! It’s been my favorite toothbrush that I’ve bought in a LONG time. It does an excellent job at removing plaque and cleaning my teeth and I feel confident using the brand.

That’s why I only use. They help to save money and plastic by replacing the heads on your existing Spinbrush handle. The Color-Wear bristles fade when the brush head needs replaced, usually around 3 months or so, unless the bristles are worn.

To replace the head, all you do is twist it 90° and pull it away from the handle. Then you slide on the new head and turn it clockwise 90° until the arrows are aligned. It really couldn’t be any more convenient or easier! I definitely recommend the Spinbrush toothbrush brand and Spinbrush refills if you’re looking for a great toothbrush!.

I actually did not like how powerful it was 😅 It was too strong for me and made my head hurt and eyes shake. I love the rose gold color and it was pretty cheap, under $10 at Walmart. The bristles also made my gums very sore and bleed from how rough it was (no I do not have dental issues that would contribute to that).

Haven’t noticed a whitening change either. Overall I think it just takes some getting used to between the awkward bulky design that slips out your hand when brushing and the bristles softening a bit.

My mouth does feel clean after every brush.

Starting With The Bad- A) To operate the switch, I must hold the device in one hand while pushing the switch with the thumb nail of the other one- using great force. That’s on a good day. Other times, I have to push it with the end of something, such as the tip of a scissors, B) Once it starts, this thing sounds like a jackhammer.

When it hits the teeth, it rattles the ears. Hard working brush, huh? C) Soft Bristles? Not so much! These “soft” bristles are harder than the medium bristles on another toothbrush that I own. I’d equate the stiffness to one of those nylon floor washing brushes.

They were pretty rough on my gums. D) Drainage is poorly designed. To drain the toothbrush guts, it has to stand on its head. I can’t think of a nastier way to store a tooth brush than to stand it on its head in a cup.

If this is not done. water stays in the shaft of the head.

I got my first Sonicare in 2006. Using a Sonicare solved my issue of tartar building up along the outsides of my upper and lower molars. A standard toothbrush couldn’t seem to hack it with me regarding tartar.

Eventually my original Sonicare bit it and I bought a replacement. Important note: I did not go to the dentist for 10 years. From 2006 to 2016-ish. When I finally went in for a cleaning the staff member performing the cleaning was SHOCKED my teeth looked so good for not having a cleaning in a decade.

Despite the fact I drink tea every day, I had very few stains and the cleaning went quick and easy. Eventually my second Sonicare stopped holding a charge and instead of replacing the battery I decided to switch to a Quip toothbrush in the interest of ‘saving money’.

I regret this decision. I felt the Quip was too large a brush head (couldn’t get into crevices as well), lacked the appropriate power I wanted and needed from an electric toothbrush, and my teeth never felt clean after brushing like they did with Sonicare.

My teeth also started accumulating stains from my tea drinking, something they never did with a Sonicare. I used a Quip for maybe a year or so and my gums and teeth suffered for it. My gums receded a little, were irritated often, and my teeth developed some sensitivity.

I was reading reviews for Sonicare one day and I read the account of someone who suffered many cavities and gum issues until they started using a Sonicare. Their symptoms sounded similar to mine (though much worse than mine) and I was immediately upset with myself for ever abandoning my Sonicare life.

This year I decided to invest in a new Sonicare. This more expensive one, as the other two I’ve had were cheaper models. As soon as I started using this Sonicare my teeth and gums started feeling better.

I also use Listerine, floss, and floss picks in my routine. I have had one filling in my life for an itty bitty surface cavity (it was an outlier and should not be counted!), and once all this pandemmy stuff calms down and I’m vaccinated I can get back to the dentist (it’s been about a year and a half now) and if I have minor cavities from my awful dance with Quip for a year or whatever I won’t be surprised.

SO! If you are someone who is on the fence regarding Sonicare and suffer from sensitive gums, tartar, cavities, or coffee or tea stains… Sonicare might be the answer you’re looking for. As for this particular model, I appreciate how much more ergonomic it feels in my hand compared to the older models.

I also like the variety of brush heads to choose from, and that all these modern Sonicares have the universal click on heads. It makes things simple. This guy charges up fast, is pretty quiet for an electric toothbrush, and has multiple settings.

It’s pretty snazzy, is what I’m saying. It feels like quite the upgrade.

My previous entry level sonicare could not hold onto a charge after 5 years of daily use(at least) and I decided that I would upgrade to a better model, which I believe this is the mid tier model that has all the bells and whistles except Bluetooth and app use which I did not want or need anyways.

Pros: – lighter and more ergonomic than the old model – Chips in the brush heads tell you when to change the head, when you are brushing too hard(the vibrations will change), and they automatically the select the optimal settings – feels more powerful than the entry model; providing my teeth with a cleaner feeling – travel case – battery life(so far); one week of twice daily brushing and no signs of letting up Cons: – replacement heads can be pricey but for me it’s worth it Overall: a definite winner.

Have used sonicare for years and will continue to do so. If I can get as much use out of this one as my previous one, then it’s a no questions asked purchase.

Within 16 months of careful use the spigot started to come out when removing the brush head and in use the head is no longer secure. I contacted customer care who said I would be sent a replacement after uploading my receipt to the link which I would be sent within 24 hours.

It took 5 days to get the link, at which point I discovered that I had to return the unit before a replacement was sent. I also had to print out the documentation, but I do not have a printer. Given their delay and my impending holiday the result is a possible 3 weeks with no toothbrush for a fault that is known to Phillips as this is apparently a common problem.

I am so dissatisfied with this I shall not be buying a Phillips product again, even though I have been using their toothbrushes for approximately 20 years. I was offered a discount to be used on a new product but unfortunately it isn’t valid on a Braun.

Love the grab and go portability this offers. The great cleaning of a electric tooth brush without the horrible buzzing or added weight and bulk. It’s got great power for just a little double or triple a battery.

The grip is also a nice touch. Helping you from accidental drops into the sink or worse. The only con for me is the medium bristle is a bit stiff for the first handful of uses. It’s a bit uncomfortable at first but honestly worth the bit of uncomfortable feeling.

My dentist agrees so I’ll deal with it. But yes I recommend if want the look and feel of a regular toothbrush but the great deep clean of an electric. Best of both worlds.

Have been using this toothbrush system for over a year now and couldn’t be happier! Worth the money for sure! My teeth get thoroughly clean and I noticed a whiter smile after a month of use. It’s perfect for maintaining that glow too! Just really wish Ulta carried the replacement heads too!.

I have been using this toothbrush kit for 3 years. I love the way it makes my aging smile bright again and it does give me whiter teeth than I’ve ever had before. However, I have to replace it about every 12 months, and that makes it expensive in the long run.

I wish GoSmile would put a little bit more longevity into this product!!.

Have been using for a week. So far, teeth feel soooo much cleaner. High-quality, well-made. Same bells and whistles that I had with my other sonic brush that I paid more for, but this has blue-light like in the dentist office when whitening my teeth professionally so I’m excited to show my dentist.

The blue-light is cool and have to say that my husband wants one now. Teeth looking brighter 🙂 feel great.
