20 Best Toothbrush For Deep Pockets (2023 Updated)

Ever since I had to borrow my boyfriend’s battery-operated Oral-B toothbrush (the first night I stayed at his house and forgot mine), I have never looked back! I immediately went out and bought my own – and that was THREE YEARS AGO! I purchased mine for $6.

99+tax. The battery was included, and lasted forever. I have since progressed to this rechargeable one, and have bought two of the battery powered ones for our kids. There is nothing like these. They feel like “dentist-grade” toothbrushes, if not better.

I love having them for my kids, cuz let’s face it – most (not all) kids do not do a great job at brushing their teeth/tongues/gums/roof of mouth/etc. , and hardly ever floss (something I sadly don’t do EVERY day either), so these brushes do a little more, and help in all those departments.

Oral-B also has toothbrushes like this that come with stickers too, to decorate, which makes them more fun to use!.

Let me start by saying I am very disappointed in this toothbrush. It started out great! I even went as far to write a post about how much I loved the toothbrush on my Facebook page the day after I got it.

I love how clean it makes my teeth feel!! BUT since I have purchased this (12/8/21) I have had to fully charge it 5 times!!! Five times in 12 days and it is currently flashing red again at this time, which is what triggered me to write this review.

This is the most frustrating thing I have experienced with a toothbrush. At that rate, I’m getting about 2 days worth of charge before it’s dying on me. Seems a bit ridiculous considering the pamphlet it comes with clearly states a full charge lasts up to 10 days.

I previously had a Phillips electric toothbrush and a full charge lasted around 2-3 weeks!! I am mind blown about how short lasting this is. Honestly thinking about buying a new one just so I don’t have to keep charging this one.

I hate to just throw the money down the drain but it’s just an annoyance. I had overly high expectations :(.

I needed a new toothbrush and I wasn’t prepared to pay for the new style brushes that mount the charger much easier using magnets. I watch the advert and read the the brawn information. The toothbrush on its own is fine it’s very lightweight compared to the last one I had, and the battery lasts a lot longer (my last toothbrush was on its last legs and a full charge only gave 6 days worth of brushing.

) The modes built-in on the toothbrush easy switch between and the new display where it lights up to tell you which mode is selected is also an improvement. The case is just a bit of plastic that does absolutely nothing.

I read somewhere that it had the ability to be used as a backup battery in case you needed to charge on the go. The software isn’t very good, as long as it is paid to your phone and your phone is on and relatively close it does track where you have spent your time brushing.

This is however not adjustable which means if you have had teeth removed from your mouth it just assumes you have not brushed those teeth. That is a big oversight in the AI technology where it promised to show you where you need to spend more time brushing.

Essentially the software is just a way of them reminding you you that you need to change your toothbrush heads every 3 months. Really that’s all it does. Very little point in cooking it up to your phone.

Maybe I can see a reason for children as you get badges on completing certain tasks but for the majority of people you could easily go for the cheaper brush without the AI rubbish. I also felt they could have provided a better selection of brushes in the twin pack.

My brushes were black or white (I got two of them being a twin pack) but they were of different types. I ended up using the white one on the black toothbrush and purchasing a totally different brush for the for the rose coloured.

I have been using an electric toothbrush for years and this definitely seems to be one of the better products; the brand was recommended by my dentist.

Early days however first impression is very favorable. It looks and feels very high quality. The packaging was beautiful and really added to that no expense spared premium feeling. Its very powerful and vibrates rotates and oscillates faster and harder than cheap competing brushes.

It leaves teeth ultra clean and fresh. The battery lasts for around 2 weeks on a single charge. When used with app it provides much more functionality although some not really necessary though. I liked the visual tracking of how you brush your teeth & areas to work on.

Even without the app the colour ring signals when its time to change mouth quadrant with a flash and an audible sound so you don’t always need the app open to get a thorough clean. The supplied accessories are all useful and top quality.

A particular highlight is the travel case. The only slightly annoying factor is that there are 6 brushing modes but it only backlights 5 of them on the handle. Otherwise highly recommend this brush.

Take the exceptional cleaning and form from the standards we’re accustomed to with oral-b and add a lot of tech and you’ve a fantastic genius toothbrush. Compared to older models, this one has greater battery capacity that is useful for travellers.

The cleaning modes available range from sensitive-slow to polishing fast and it’s easy to change between them whilst brushing. The intuitive backlit icons are reassuring when checking the brushing mode.

I love the companion brushing application. Using Bluetooth to connect, the app efficiently informs you about your brushing coverage, making it easy to understand which areas you may have missed. But if you don’t want this extra feature the brush works just fine as a regular dependable brush.

Charging uses the same inductive charge stand from other recent models with a shaving point plug attached on a “long enough but not too long” cable. Finished in white plastics, these are attractive, scratch resistant and fair well when wiped with regular cleaning products.

The Genius uses the same brush fittings as others in the current oral-b range, so if you’ve stock for your current brush, these will fit too. For the savvy buyer you may want to skip the connectivity option found here and consider other models from oral-b.

The key value from the head technology, ease of use and stellar reliability can be found in all oral-b products. But if you’re wanting some stats, love data and you want an accurate visualisation of your brushing, this model will quench your thirst!.

Bought this for myself as I needed a new sonic toothbrush. I’ve been using sonic toothbrushes, for quite a few years now, so I no how they feel in your mouth! Ordered it, because it was on easy pay, plus it was a good price! I agree with the previous review, the on/off switch is to near where your holding the handle, and I myself have turned this off, loads of times! So when spotlight do decide to upgrade this toothbrush, that’s something that needs to be addressed! Also fully agree with the previous review, why are they not making the Rose Gold replacement heads to match the toothbrush? Why only white? It doesn’t look right! If that’s the case only make white! You’ve made that colour for a reason, good selling point, so why not carry it on with the replacement heads! Rant over! Love the toothbrush!.

I’ve had issues with my teeth for years as I have a huge phobia of dentists and anything to do with teeth. Finally decided enough enough so I bought this mostly because of the raving reviews. Can honestly say used it for tge first time today with the enamel rebuild toothpaste, bit weird at first despite previously using a collate electric toothbrush the first setting was a bit too much.

The second setting was just right even though the third setting is for sensitive teeth I thought that would be more comfortable but the second is great. My teeth feel so clean and smooth. I can’t wait to use it tomorrow morning.

If your having doubts, don’t well worth it if you have tooth problems. Best purchase (this month from look fantastic) definitely recommend. 5 *****.

This cross action version cleans very well. It does sound a bit like a dentists drill and stutters for the timer, as if it had got stuck. At first I did not realise this was the timer sound they were describing in the leaflet; I was expecting some sort of bleep.

I have tried all the modes and they can be useful for different types of cleaning. In use the pressure sensor has not gone off but I tested it. It works well and the light would be visible in a mirror.

You can pay many times more money for an electric toothbrush, but these offer an affordable excellent clean.

Not every bathroom has a shaver socket. there are many reasons one may not want to leave one’s toothbrush in the/a bathroom. In households where there are number of people needing to charge a brush or use a shaver, it is necessary to charge elsewhere, and a bathroom shelf can easily become cluttered with gadgets.

I charge mine using a European adapter in a conventional British socket, I don’t understand the reviewer who somewhat tetchily expresses that this is not possible. I consider it short sighted of manufacturers to assume all will always have access to a shaver socket and will always be in a situation to assume right of use.

It would be helpful if an adapter was included, or at least the solution to charging with a conventional socket explained.

I cannot express what a game changer this electric toothbrush is! My husband has receding gums and I have one area of gum which bleeds and get a plaque build up at the back of one molar which a normal toothbrush can’t reach.

Since using this our oral hygiene has dramatically changed. My husbands gums have dramatically improved and my teeth have never felt cleaner. Without sounding like an absolute weirdo, brushing my teeth is such a pleasure.

My mouth feels so clean and if I ever need to use my normal toothbrush (camping etc) it just doesn’t feel the same. It is honestly totally worth the investment in an electric toothbrush. They last such a long time you just change the heads, the clean feel it leaves is amazing, it monitors your pressure so you know you’re not doing any damage, it times it for you so you know you brush long enough.

There are no negatives!.

I own both the toothbrush and the floss pick. I really wanted to like to quip but it falls short on a number of expectations. Let’s just do a simple pros and cons: PROS Aesthetically pleasing design: All their products look nice, modern and sleek.

But that’s not enough when the goal is to maintain good dental hygiene with reliable products and honest customer service. Subscription-based concept: Many can appreciate the ease and efficiency of regularly scheduled product shipments, but often times I ended up with excess product (I had to remove the toothpaste soon after subscribing because I was amassing a lot of tubes!) CONS Terrible customer service: This is the biggest pet peeve I have with quip.

Without going into too much detail, I ended up waiting so long for them to respond to my emails (it takes them about a month to respond) regarding the floss pick that they basically caused me to exceed the return-window period.

How convenient for quip. Form before function: Ultimately, I think the product quality speaks volumes. The toothbrush is so fragile underneath that the first time I had to switch out the brush head it cracked near the top casing of the motor component, thereby making the product unusable.

I thought I would give the floss pick a try, but the pick is too big to get into all the hard-to-reach places in the mouth and the floss itself is way too flimsy. It doesn’t create a tight hold and the string keeps getting loose.

It seems like the idea of quip was initially novel but it hasn’t lived up to my expectations (or those of many who have commented on here). I will not be buying anything else from them and would strongly urge you to read these comments and think twice about buying anything from them as well.

I’ve been using quip for about a year and a half. I’ve both really enjoyed using this product and had some serious issues. Before quip, I used a Phillips Sonicare brush recommended by my dentist. I traveled a lot, and it was annoying to bring a large toothbrush *and* a charger everywhere I went, and the replacement heads were surprisingly expensive.

The quip solved those issues but brought its own host of issues. The first time I replaced the quip brush head, the plastic toothbrush handle cracked, then the brush stopped vibrating after a few seconds.

I contacted customer service, but by the time they got back to me, the brush was working again. I found that every once in a while, my toothbrush would have issues after replacing the brush head. (I finally got a replacement toothbrush last week.

) Then, I started having problems with delayed brush head shipping. This might not seem like a huge issue, but I noticed that after using the same brush head for ~4 months, my teeth weren’t getting as clean.

I’m confused about the shipping delays in general: If quip knows there are delays, why wouldn’t they start shipping the brush heads earlier? It kind of defeats the purpose of a subscription plan. My boyfriend recently ordered the metal quip, and his was defective upon arrival—it would just stop vibrating.

Unsurprisingly, it took a while for customer service to get back to him, and he’s still waiting for his replacement toothbrush. My mom has has had issues with her subscription, too, namely that customer service would not allow her to change the email address associated with her account.

Although I really like this product, I think it has some design flaws that need to be worked out. I also think that quip needs to invest more in customer service and shipping—with a subscription oral hygiene company, it’s really important that your brush works, and that you’re able to get replacements and refills when needed!.

Our whole family has used these brushes (husband, myself and kids ages 7, 5 and 3). We REALLY wanted to love them but after a couple of years, we’ve decided to cancel our subscription. Pros: Love the 2 minute timer and fun colors, especially for the kids – it encourages them to brush.

The design is simple and appealing, it looks nice stuck to the mirror (love that feature) and isn’t tacky/gaudy like the mainstream brands. It’s a nice size and easy to travel with. The subscription makes remembering to change your brush out so easy, practically effortless.

Cons: When it comes to actually doing the main job of keeping our teeth clean, we have been pretty disappointed. I never felt like I could get my teeth clean with this brush. Like maybe the vibrations are quite strong enough or the bristles don’t quite reach every nook and cranny.

The motors would randomly stop working mid brush for no apparent reason and sometimes not restart. My husband’s randomly turns on by itself at all hours of the day/night, the motor in my daughter’s had to be replaced within a couple of months because it quit working altogether.

Every time I changed the brushes, the inside was SO gross and it accumulated quickly inside the case too (which was really hard to clean). Sorry to say we will be leaving the Quip family after giving it a good honest, tried and true chance.

We’ve just had nothing but troubles with these brushes and are less than impressed with the product. The customer service has always been great, but the product is just not quite there.

Last year, in fall, I first heard about this toothbrush from a Youtuber {Lauren Norris} I guess she partnered with them because she had a discount referral link of 25% or something like that. I debated with myself – cause I found it a lot of money to spend on a toothbrush.

AND I’m very skeptical when influencers promote anything. After months of going back and forth, I finally made my purchase around December 18th. I’m in Canada, so it was delivered a little under 2 weeks {expected, since it was a Christmas rush + the pandemic} I began using it around Jan 2 or 3rd.

It’s now Feb 6th, I wanted to really try it for a month before I posted this review. Pro’s; -It’s packaging is cool and the brush its self is easy to use. -It comes with a travel case and 3 toothbrush heads, the charger and a manual/guide book.

-There are three settings, clean, whiten, and sensitive. I don’t have sensitive teeth so I’ve never used that setting, but it’s a nice option to have. I predict I’ll use that option in the future after a trip from the dentist.

Y’know, when my teeth are still sore/vulnerable. -There’s a timer, after 2 minutes it’ll shut off. [This is good, especially for me, because I didn’t realize how long I brush my teeth. I’d scrub away with a regular brush for minutes on end] -This is my favourite pro; the toothbrush works best with the toothpaste from their company.

In addition to the toothbrush, I brought -refill heads and toothpaste. At first, I tried the toothbrush with sensodyne toothpaste for the first week & the colour of my teeth were still the same. Second week, I tried it with another toothpaste [from a company called Native] still the same.

Third week & beyond I started using their toothpaste [the one designed specifically for teeth whitening] and I’m seeing a gradual improvement. Which is shocking for me, since I’ve tried colgate, senso, and a bunch of different brands that claim to gradually whiten but show no results.

Years of junk, chocolate and berries in my teen years really darkened my teeth so it’s nice to see it lightening after a decade or so. Cons: 1. It does take 15 hours to charge. It’s not really an issue for me, but if you’re short for time – make sure to charge it over night.

2. It could be costly, so if you don’t want to pay at once – just do the monthly payment. 3. If you don’t have a tongue scraper then the toothbrush head may be too small for you to brush your tongue.

I understand, since it’s an electronic toothbrush but I’ve grown up using manual which was sufficient enough for me to brush my teeth and tongue in one. [What I do is: use the electronic brush for my teeth, and still use a manual toothbrush just for my tongue, as well as a scraper] 4.

If you’re easily startled. Be aware of the pulsing sensation. Like I said, it’s my first time ever using an electric toothbrush and I got a bit of a shock [the toothpaste fell outta my mouth, lmao] Overall, I’m extremely happy I came across this product that actually works, otherwise I’d be pissed if I wasted that much money.

Also, I forgot to mention in the pro pile – the customer service of the company is amazing – in this day and age. I only had to message them because I bought the toothbrush and toothpaste set, but my order was broken up in two.

The toothbrush came one day and the paste came 2 days later. So I contacted them thinking they forgot to send me what I paid for [which wasn’t the case] but the agent I got was very helpful. She apologized on behalf of the company and started an investigation.

She was polite and professional. I felt like an idiot afterwards, but I apologized and informed her to cancel the investigation. Ok, this is the most detailed review I’ve ever given – but hopefully it helps someone who wants to buy something on Spotlight’s website.

I see they have a rosegold version of the brush now and I’m so annoyed, I should’ve waited lmao.

My new Sonic Toothbrush arrived today and after just one use my teeth are visibly whiter! I used the Spotlight Pregnancy and Breastfeeding toothpaste with the sonic toothbrush on sensitive mode. I found the vibrations a little ticklish but I’m sure it’s just a matter of getting used to.

The results in the quality of cleaning definitely speak for themselves already. The brush is comfortable to hold and easy to reach the back teeth. Customer Service has been second to none with almost immediate response to a query I had upon purchasing, with a lovely friendly and helpful tone.

Prompt delivery; ordered late on a Wednesday night (personalised with my name) and it arrived early Friday morning. Brilliant company with fantastic products and customer service.

I had been looking around for a while for a good toothbrush, that wasn’t fussy, lasted long and did the job. Well so far so good!! From the first brush my teeth were shinier and whiter than they’d ever been!! Loved the attention to detail on the packaging, comes with three heads and covers, a travel case, the base and charger.

Really easy and simple to use, battery life is amazing and I was so impressed, I invested in other Spotlight products for myself and as gifts for family members. Highly recommend.

Best toothbrush that I’ve ever had. I don’t know how I brushed with a manual toothbrush up to now – makes me doubt that my teeth were really clean before! I could never go back to using a manual now.

Las year, I went to the dentist and he said that I should keep doing whatever I was doing – there was hardly any plaque. He was very impressed and very happy. I’ve had this toothbrush for a while now (bought in the sale at Boots) and it’s still going like it’s new, although I do need to make sure it’s charged between every brush now, which is annoying if I’m travelling and have nowhere to plug it in.

Saying that, I’m looking forward to buying my next Oral-B electric toothbrush and will probably upgrade next time.

We are using Oral-b tooth brush and tooth paste for years. Two days ago i visited my dental hygienist who is very impressed with the state of my teeth. I have small jaw and mouth full of teeth, these means my teeth are crowded and misplaced but i do not have any problems to have it clean.

With Oral-b tooth brush i am able to reach all teeth to clean them and in-between where lots of problems could occur.

Way faster and feels like a far superior clean to my last slow oral B 800. Early days though so be interesting to see if the charge lasts as long as said. This is partly why I have given 4 stars as have had a few oral b’s and the batteries don’t last long before playing up and needing daily charges.

However I do expect better with this one re the lithium battery. Also the pressure detection light only comes on if you really, really apply pressure in way that you just wouldn’t be doing unless a Neanderthal or very angry lol.

Defo worth the extra price of the cheaper models as is so much faster ( sounds like am trying to sell a sports car! ). Note to buyers: Please be aware that some sellers are selling this model but not proclaiming that it is the older version without the lithium battery.

From what I can tell if the box has the travel case on as a freebee then it is the latest model, if it has the free brush then it is the older model without the lithium battery but some unscrupulous sellers don’t make this clear! So you could end up buying something that may be no better than the 800 for more ‘s?.

This toothbrush has both very good and bad. The very good are the bristles. They have a fine soft pointed tip that I feel gets deeper into gum line crevices than any other brush I have used. Its softness makes you feel you are not wearing away your teeth.

The handle feels appropriate and balanced. The only bad is the width of its head is too narrow. It leaves you spending more time brushing than you should need to. One extra row or two of bristles and you would probably have the perfect toothbrush.

Awhile ago, dentist tells me I need soft bristle toothbrushes, so I found and order this pack. I have a permanent bottom retainer and can’t always floss in between, but these slim bristles feel like they help to get through where I can’t floss to.

The bristles are soft enough that they aren’t hurting my gums and get in between the crevices my old tooth brushes wouldn’t go. I’ve been using these toothbrushes ever since.

I have to admit that I first bought this toothbrush because I love the color. I also know there is a huge hype over the charcoal. I care a lot about my teeth. I have sensitive gums, so our use a soft toothbrush.

I feel like this is not only soft but it leaves a squeaky clean job. .

Never thought I’d say this about a toothbrush, but this is the perfect toothbrush. First off, it’s actually soft. I’ve been through quite a few toothbrushes that were supposed to be soft and just weren’t.

This one is actually soft. Also, the brush head is the perfect size and shape. It really encompasses your teeth. Next, the toothbrush is thoughtfully and ergonomically. From the finger grip, to the curve of the toothbrush (to allow you to get deep into your back teeth), to the tongue cleaner – it’s just so well designed.

Last, the packaging is plastic free, yet very secure. In conclusion, the perfect toothbrush.

I have a family of six and this packages of eight is more than enough for my family this month. I love how the toothbrush has a reach tip that help to brushed off the hard spot at the end of my tooth.

The side bristles and middle bristles (crisscoss) really help me to get my teeth clean in the morning. I am really impressed with this Oral-B Proadvantage Crisscross Toothbrushes. My husband love the sleek long handle grip perfect for adult and children to grasp onto the handle.

It’s a soft pack and I have sensitive gum which is better for me to use the soft toothbrushes. Pretty colors too and I definitely would recommend this soft pack of toothbrushes if you have sensitive gum like me.

I am one who likes to discard toothbrushes after three months of use. That is why I purchase a quantity of toothbrushes at once so they will be handy when I need them. Doing that is also less expensive.

Oral-B gets every nook and cranny of my mouth clean and sparkling. I like a firmer brush, so I choose the medium type. There is a soft bristle option which some people might prefer.

I have a very bad gag reflex while brushing my teeth. But while I have been using this Oral-B Complete Deep Clean toothbrush I have not gagged not even once. Which is a huge reason for giving 5 stars.

On top of not gagging it also gets deep in between my teeth. I have a few gaps in some of my teeth while some I don’t & have issues finding a toothbrush to get in the small crevices. With this toothbrush not only does it get in between the small crevices but its also completely cleans my teeth not leaving anything behind.

I have noticed with other toothbrushes, after brushing I can feel the dirtiness left behind on some of my teeth. Most times because the bristles are either too far apart or just too soft even when stating its medium firm or firm.

With this toothbrush I have a completely clean mouth, fresh breath which makes me feel better throughout the day. I am definitely happy with this toothbrush!.

These were okay for brushing but not my favorite. If you have older kids and they use soft bristle toothbrushes these should work great. But I feel for adults teeth these are too soft and the bristles give very quickly.

It could be from me brushing to hard idk, so if your like me these aren’t for you. Look for a soft toothbrush but with more bristle power if that is such a thing lol! The price point was cool for the amount, but these didn’t work for me I won’t be repurchasing.

My favorite toothbrush. My teeth feel so clean every single time I use it. It’s a soft feeling. My gums don’t bleed when I use it so it’s nice. And it has a long durable life. I would recommend to other people.

Lately I am obsessed with using any products that contain charcoal in them. This toothbrush makes my teeth and mouth feel extra clean

This is the third handle I have had, and the third premature failure. On average they last six months. All develop the same fault. Having taken two apart to recycle their batteries, the fault is obvious – the vibrating head assembly is constrained by one tiny screw.

Someone should sack the engineer. This time I am getting my money back and NEVER buying Philips again!.

I really like my toothbrush. I gave it a 4 because the brushes themselves feel like they are made for young children, not adults.
