20 Best Tooth Brush For Braces (2023 Updated)

I bought this because my previous Sonicare Diamondclean of 10-11 years stopped working. This one is pretty expensive but worth it. I had this for about two weeks before I had another dentist appointment.

The dental hygenist commented that my teeth were very clean and didn’t say anything about flossing or gum recession (hint I didn’t floss everyday, if my dentist is reading this I’m sorry lol). She probably spent about 15 minutes tops doing my routine cleaning.

I owe this in part due to this toothbrush. With the accompanying app (if you don’t want to use an app, just don’t buy this, you won’t get your money’s worth), it guides you on how to brush your teeth, like if you scrub too much or if you have too much pressure.

You can also set up zones where if you have sensitive gums or possible cavity prone areas it can focus more on those areas. At the end of the routine, it kind of grades you and tells you how to improve your brushing.

I think if this toothbrush lasts a long time it will be well worth the high price and your teeth/gum health will be good too.

The handle looked like an interesting design, but the bristles were the hardest I’ve seen. This product defeats it’s purpose by scratching up gums around crowns. After second use, it’s in the garbage.

My wife and I have been using the Oral B Pro series of electric tooth brushes for years with great results at each of our semi-annual dental checkups. We each have our own units. They usually last us about 5 years before the batteries give out.

We just toss them out and replace them with a new one. A small price to pay for healthy teeth. The heads have always been interchangeable and are comfortable to use. Our dentists have always recommended these brushes over manual brushing as they provide a superior clean.

I cannot even begin to express my excitement upon receiving the Oral-B Pro 3000 completely free from Oral-B! I can honestly say in my adult life that I have never been thrilled about brushing my teeth in fact I was down right horrible at it, instead of brush, brush, brush I am more of a rush, rush, rush go straight to mouth wash cause I can walk miles with that stuff in my mouth just swigging it side to side hands free.

I have been using the Pro 3000 for a week straight now, and just as the manual read charge did last for a week with everyday usage and I got my low battery flashing red light as soon as it needed to be powered up.

So it took me a couple reads to complete understand just the first setting (it comes with 3 – daily use, gum care, and sensitive). The daily setting is just that every day usage with a 2 minute timer.

It took me a couple days to get the vibration (stuttering meanings down). The Pro 3000 gives you 30 second intervals to cover 4 sections of your mouth if you were to divide it into just that, and the final vibration is a longer duration signaling you have reached the 2 minute dentist recommended brushing.

Let me first say that the timer is amazing and spot on – I counted during one brushing! The pressure light, I hadn’t seen on my first couple of uses though I think I had forgotten all about it. Once remembered I fiddled with it and there is no ignoring when that thing lights up red, you cannot miss it, again another great feature to let you know to love your pearly whites, gums, and not be so harsh.

I have yet to check out the App that the toothbrush has the capability of, baby steps as I have never owned such an apparatus for the cleaning of ones mouth that offered bells and whistles. It’s like the fancy foreign car of dental hygiene.

The brush head is the 3D- White that has a polishing cup, let me just say my teeth have never felt so great and I can see a difference in just the week of use. I also noticed in my multiple sweeps through the manual there are multiple brush heads available each with their own features and those helpful blue indicator bristles to signify their need for a tune up (replacement!).

I received this amazing free product from Oral B, it was well packaged and so easy to assemble. The instructions were simple to read. The Base of the electric toothbrush weighs 4. 5 oz and stands about 7.

5 inches from base to tip (excl brush head). It took less than 22 hours to fully charge and it lasted 40 minutes. The average person brushes 2x a day so you would get about 10 days worth, those who brush 3 + times/day will get about 4-5 days.

Things to do Before: 1. After you apply the toothpaste, insert the brush head into your mouth first before turning it on because the toothpaste does fall off if it is not in your mouth once device is turned on.

2. There are a few modes, so try them out first so you know how it feels. It starts with daily clean, sensitive, whitening (more intense), and gum care/massage. I tried all and preferred sensitive as I normally experience sensitivity with hot or cold.

3. Install the app and navigate and read the different sections and familiarize yourself with the app, be sure to turn on the bluetooth before trying to tracking your progress. Make sure your phone with the app is close by, it will stop if it is not next to you, I tried it <5 feet away and it worked for about 20 seconds before the app stopped.

4. Check out your teeth and see where some stubborn stains are so you can see what the difference will be, also take your fingers and touch the outside of your teeth (or lick your teeth with your tongue) so you know how it feels when you used a regular toothbrush vs the Oral B Pro 3000.

Lastly check between your teeth and see if there is build up so you know what it will look like after using this product. Pros: 1. No matter what mode you have it on, if you press too hard the red sensor lights go off and that is your indication to lighten the pressure on your teeth/gums.

At the end of each brushing the app does tell you how many seconds you pressed too hard. 2. The app tracks many things so if you were learning how to use your toothbrush with the app installed then it will track you started and stopped and that you did not brush for the recommended 2 minutes and it politely indicates you should brush for 2 minutes.

3. The app provides a Day, Week, Month and All tab to show your total brushing sessions, Too Much Pressure (seconds), Average Floss, Average Tongue Clean and Average Rinse times. 4. The app tells you what you normally set your mode(s) to under Journey Gum Health so if you are like me I toggle between Sensitive & Massage, it disables the other modes.

This way when you are done brushing your 2 minutes you press once or twice to stop instead of a few more times because it would have cycled through the other modes. 5. The app displays achievements and trophies to encourage you to brush but I don’t need the encouragement because once you clean your teeth with the Oral B Pro 3000 and you feel with your tongue or fingers how squeaky clean your teeth are you will not go back to a regular toothbrush.

6. Your clean teeth lasts for more than one meal, on one day while the toothbrush was recharging I wanted to see how many meals and snacks I could eat before I could feel my teeth get gritty again, well suffice it to say it lasted all day (probably longer).

But I couldn’t go through the day not brushing after eating so many meals and normally brushing 3x a day, but this products cleans and last beyond a single brushing. 7. If you don’t normally floss and/or see some stains from coffee/tea, and you start using this product you will see it cleans not just the surface squeaky, but between the teeth as well, and I did notice a reduction of stubborn stains behind the front teeth.

8. I am excited now to try a few journeys like plaque fighter and then gum health. The app provides a well laid out plan for you to follow as well as details asking you to mark your problem areas. 9.

Received a coupon for a replacement brush head and a rebate to register. 10. I like how the unit can hold up to 4 brush heads so your family can share a unit. 11. As long as bluetooth is on even if you didn’t turn on the app yet, when you do it detects you started brushing already and is tracking the time.

12. There is a smart indicator that flashes red lights and it tells you you need to recharge it, it will last 1 to 1. 5 more brushing before it will completely die. So charge it or leave it charged all the time since it indicates you can’t overcharge it.

Great feature! Cons/Areas of Improvement: 1. Although I like how the app tells you to brush your teeth, clean your tongue, floss, and rinse, what I didn’t like was if I brushed my teeth outside of normal morning hours it did not give me the request to floss and rinse.

I was only successful to get all settings around 8am and earlier and dinner time and later but the hours in between only gave me brush teeth and clean tongue. I would have wanted all reminders with an option to skip for those brushes outside normal hours.

2. I like that you can learn how to use the toothbrush and the app and can delete a session, but even though I completed one full session in the AM but played with the toothbrush for a few short sessions when I selected delete the session it deleted all of those for that morning and so when I tried again at 9:50am the app never gave me any reminders to floss and rinse so now I lost those results.

3. I would have liked that the toothbrush always keep all modes because even deleting a journey I thought it would bring back those other modes but it didn’t so I am not sure how to get all the modes back.

Good thing I don’t plan on using the other modes any time soon. 4. If you are on a trip for a week and 2 people are using it, I would have liked the charge to last more than 40 minutes on a full charge so you don’t need to bring the charging unit with you but then again where would I put the changing brush heads.

ok I shouldn’t be lazy. 5. I did feel that the Whitening mode was very intense for me and my teeth and gums felt like it was vibrating somewhat afterwards but I wanted to test the feature before installing the app.

Overall I could not be happier with this product but a few updates would be good to improve the app.

I have had my for probably ten years now. Previously I had been using an older Sonicare, and I’m definitely going to buy another once this one stops working. I get compliments on my oral hygiene from the dental hygienist, which is nice.

The more time you spend taking care of your teeth, the less time you have to spend in the dentist chair! The vibration from the Sonicare helps to remove debris from my teeth as well as partially in between my teeth.

And that same vibration helps stop a bad habit I have with regular toothbrushes: pressing too hard on my teeth when brushing. You can’t do that with a Sonicare because the vibration from the brush head on your teeth is downright unpleasant.

The battery on my Sonicare lasts forever and it charges back up quickly. Brush heads can be found at [brand:costco] and are a great deal there even if there isn’t currently a sale on them. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about my !.

Need better pictures as wasnt aware that they were different sizes. I just ordered the one with the pink button because it was different from my old green one which has lasted me at least 15 years and two replacement batteries.

I thought they were the same brush. I have a lot of heads for this toothbrush and this made sense rather than buying a whole new Sonicare. Unfortunately the bases are different and I ordered the wrong one.

Fortunately I am pretty handy with a Dremel tool and could adapt my old charging stand. It doesnt look pretty but it works. When I run out of heads for it Ill buy a new sonicare.

My dentist recommended that I start using an electric toothbrush. I didn’t want to purchase one because they’re so expensive, but Kohl’s had this on sale for $20 (originally $60), so I bought it. I’m actually a huge fan now and don’t think I’ll go back to using a regular brush maybe just for vacations.

That’s the one downfall is that I don’t want to lug this around during vacations. Even though it can hold a charge for two weeks I’d still just carry a regular brush. I do wish this had grips on it so it’s easier to hold.

But overall I love how clean my teeth feel. I’ve noticed less plaque build up behind my permanent retainer. It’s like a little message for your gums.

After using a few times, battery was getting empty and i putted it on the charger. Signal says its charging, but its not. I can not use the product, waiting for help from client service

Alles ordentlich. Kurzum: Ich war vorsichtig optimistisch wegen des asiatischen Produkts, kann aber nach 10 Tagen nur Positives berichten. Wenn nun auch 2 Jahre Nutzung drin sind, knnen Phillips und Braun einpacken.

I liked the shape. It curves enough to get to your back teeth. The bristles are soft as to not create trauma around the gums, yet to be able to clean around the gum line. I really like the quality of the materials.

Oral-B makes good products and I feel confident using their products. My dentist started me on them at a young age and I still feel confident with them today.

I will genuinely grieve if they ever discontinue these toothbrushes. I have tried electric ones from different brands/with different heads, as well as a plethora of manual ones. These just feel great on my sensitive gums and clean thoroughly.

I always buy a 4-pack so I can swap them every 3 months, and on top of feeling great I also find them very cost effective.

I absolutely loves this crest braces deep clean kit with brush. It works well, gets in between braces easily, I don’t have to worry about it breaking, and I actually like the minty taste it has to it.

It definitely makes my teeth clean, but like I said in the review title, nothing will work as well as a regular toothbrush- just a personal preference. but I would say it word work well for teens.

I bought the Crest Braces Deep Cleaning kit, a month ago, so happy I did. My granddaughter absolutely loves this product. The brush works very well , getting her teeth exceptionally clean. The kits also comes with 2 brushes to get in between the the Braces themselves.

I highly recommend this product as the quality is very good. It’s a great value.

This brace deep cleaning kit is easy to use and very effective. I do not have braces, but my older son does. All you have to do is Press the brush on each side of the brace on the teeth and along the brace wire.

It reminds me of a baby bottle brush, they come with the smaller brush to get in the tip of the bottle. Same type of design to get a deep clean in the braces. Then you just rinse the brush off to use again.

The bristels on this toothbrush are harsh on the gums. Overall it got the work done. I feel like the overall head size was more made for children than adult mouth. It was efective regarding being able to brush my braces and the small parts.

I will not buy it again for me, maybee if I had kids I would. Not the best orthodontic toothbrush out there.

This toothbrush cleans my teeth very well and gets in the harder to reach places since I have braces. Ive had braces for about 2 years and ive used this toothbrush ever since. If you have braces, I 10/10 recommend this toothbrush to you!!.

I like it because it cleans great my teeth even though I have braces in general I have troubles with normal toothbrushes, because they don’t work as great as this one, it does its work at it’s supposed.
