This a great tool for hanging anything that you need level. Pictures, shelves, mirrors, wall sconces just to name a few. even helps keep wall tile level when setting. Awesome tool.

This item was described as new in box. The item was used, batteries inserted and acid had escaped from them. There were also pieces missing.

Don’t know yet. The one it replaced worked fine for many years.

I got this leveler at a discounted price from Amazon, display box was damaged. A good value for homeowner DIY mounting projects. It’s probably a standard feature with all levels but I like that there’s a suspension lock button that keeps the internals from banging around during movement.

Excellent, accurate, easy-to-use tool. This product works as advertized. Purchased to assist with building a deck, I was worried that this red-lazer it might not be able to be seen outside in bright sunlight.

While I needed to create a little shade, it was indeed visible and worked perfectly. Extremely easy to use. All I had to do was turn it on and point in the direction I wanted. I used a camera tripod to get 360 degree use from one set-up.

Highly recommended. Looking forward to trying other SKIL tools.

Excellent product. I needed to layout all the closets in a house for shelving. The Skil laser level made this an easy one-man job. Also, it’s rechargeable; no dead batteries at the worst possible time.

I’m sure I’ll find many more uses.

Bought this to level the ground for an above ground pool. Had to dig down over 10 inches on one side. End result is a perfectly level pool. This tool works as advertised. I also bought a tripod for the measuring stick so I could have it stable and secure.

Any DIYer knows when building something the rules are “Level, Square and Plume”. This tool will help you insure meeting the rules. Very easy to set up and use. Quality is true DeWalt style. CPO has the lowest prices online so no need to shop anywhere else.

For a cheap Transit this thing is great. It levels easily and is accurate. What more do you need. I’m sure there are better ones out there but for the money I don’t think you can go wrong. I like mine and would buy it again.

Love this laser and it features. the plumb bob is particularly handy in ways you never can imagine. I use this laser almost everyday for something. Beware it does eat batteries. I bought some Duracell rechargeable batteries and keep 2 sets fully charged.

It also doesn’t throw a vertical line very far down if you have it up high. I have to keep it lower so that line makes it all the way to the floor. Had it up about 8-9 foot today setting some tall door casing but had to lower it so I could see line clearly near the floor.

Laser was about 6-8′ from the wall.

Bought this a year ago. Loved it. Magnet is well but didn’t bother me much. Not I can’t get the plumb line to go on. Just disappointed. I wouldn’t mind upgrading but not if the buttons are going to wear or only used it daily for the last three months.

Green lime red dot. Just really wished it worked correctly.

Absolute piece of junk. Used for 6 months and the buttons wear out. Klein should be synonymous with top of the line. Not the case. Just upset. Magnet is meh. Plumb line does not go all the way up a stud.

I bought my Klein laser level last year and boy am I impressed! Well done Klein! The versatility of the tool – from laying out lighting to pipe runs to laying out switches and receptacles. It does it all.

Ease of use and a long battery life. Ability to mount to studs and walls etc. Great product. I highly recommend adding to your arsenal!.

Nobody carries a 3′ level in-store, so I was thrilled to find this one online. I’m not a big fan of buying before touching, but the description sounded okay. Turns out, this level is all I had hoped it would be.

It’s sturdy, looks professional (I’m a tradesman), and offers a couple of nifty added features that are perfect for hanging mirrors. As a bathroom remodeler, I’m often required to install hung mirrors, so this was a nice bonus.

The key thing, however, is that this level looks pro, is solidly built, and works perfectly. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

This product is so very close to being the most wonderful tool around yet the execution is bungled. As a simplistic level, it has a very nice design. It is milled from aluminum and has 3 level indicators – Horizontal, Vertical and one set at I believe a 45 degree angle.

It’s 36 inches long, lightweight and has rubberized ends. The “Accumark” aspect is a great concept but flounders. The sliding markers do not stay in place well. As well, the marker body covers the measurement increments so it’s very difficult to read where you’re placing the marker.

It would’ve been very nice to provide a way to adjust the tension of the markers, provide an optional reticle (you only get a + pattern to mark) and maybe a laser line. I have the cheapest laser line in the world and it throws a line that reads level every time which I used more than the AccuMark.

Also, I got caught several times in a pinch because of corners or trim moldings keeping the level from doing it’s job. If you need a level, the price is great and you may get to even use the AccuMark function a few times.

I had bought one of these a few years ago. My parents tool it with them to San Diego and left it at my sisters house. I looked at all the local stores in hopes of getting a new one with no luck. For an odd reason I decided to look on Walmart’s website and they had it.

It is a great tool for the price. It allows you to hang pictures with easy. Walmart should carry it again in their stores and not just the website.

Pretty straight forward, easy to use. I used it to get a ROUGH idea of the water line for a pond I recently constructed a dam on. Keep in mind this is not a transit so don’t expect it to perform as such.

Having said that, when building my dam I had already determined where I would like for my water line to be. So this was a way for me to confirm if I was close or not. Within a couple minutes I could see where my water level will be when the pond fills.

If you can read a level you can use this tool. Standing in the pond bed, I centered the bubble and center line on the spillway of my levee an then slowly turn keeping the bubble centered on the center line.

This was where my water level will be when the water runs over the spillway. Again it didn’t need to be exact, just close enough to confirm the levee is high enough to hold water at the level I wanted.

Great little level at a very friendly price. I would buy another. Perfect for carrying grade laying culverts. Have already used it, and I approve!

Level has no magnification and is, therefore, very difficult to see the target. Seeing through the level is difficult. The target appears to be very far in the distance. It is very difficult to get a reasonably accurate level.

I bought 4 of these to use when levelling off a spot in my yard for a pool. They were really inexpensive and worked fine, but I had a hard time actually getting them to stay on the mason’s line I was using.

They had a habit of one end bouncing off the line as soon as the other was hooked in place, even when the line was taught and still. After several tries, I was finally able to get them to stay, and they did what I needed them to do.

I was looking for a small light weight level to balance my lawn tractor blades. I never balanced my blades in the past but decided to start since I’m getting older and can’t stand alot of vibration. After sharpening the blades I attach this level to the center blade upper edge with a rubber band while the blade center rests sideways on a horizontal mounted 12 penny nail.

In all my research I have never seen anyone use a level on this hanging on a nail method, but found that it balances the blade near perfect and works great for me!.

This product saved the day on a structure I have been working on for quite some time. I am building an 18′ x 10′ dog pen with a roof. so essentially I’m building a building without the exterior walls.

I thought I had the top of it all level before I bought this, and then realized there was an issue. When I mounted this laser level on one of the corner posts, it gave me a level laser line going across the top of the entire structure, and I saw that on the opposite end, the entire top of the structure was sloping 1/2″, which would have been problematic when it came time to do the roof.

I was able to level the entire top of the structure up with this tool. I will never build anything significant without using this.

This laser level is awesome ! The laser beam is bright, the lines are clear and the distance is great. Can be used for a variety of jobs, easy to set up and use.

Greatl laser that a has a self leveling feature on it has horizontal and vertical cross-line laser works great easy to set up can use it on a tripot also comes with a magnetic holder so you can use on anything that has metal on it.

Comes with a carrying case so you can store it and take along with you all in al it’s a great laser level.

I’m not too impressed with this level, given the quality of all my other Ridgid tools I assumed it would carry over to this level. It works just fine and reads accurately but I had only had been using it for a week and the lines and numbering on the vials had already began wearing off just from regular use making it difficult to read.

If you can’t read a level it’s pretty much useless. why they didn’t have the lines and numbering on the INSIDE of the vials is beyond me.

same great quality as i would expect from ridgid . fully well expect it to last as long as one i piuchased 30 years ago.

I’ve used other torpedo levels and found this one to be more accurate then all of them. I like the fact that you can see exactly how much grade according to the marked fraction on the gage.

I have used a level like this before, at work. Today it was my time to purchase mine! Love the magnetic side of this level. Dewalt yellow, it doesn’t blend in with the rest of the stuff at the job site.

Large. 4 feet large. I wont get false level readings with this big ol’ level. Really happy with my purchase! You will be too if ya get one. Only drawback is its a little on the expensive side.

This is a nice level that’s well built and performs as it should. The magnetic feature comes in handy. I also enjoy the hard rubber ends and grip. The levels large heavyweight construction ensures a good base and the bubble levels are easy to read.

I work in a factory maintenance department and needed a level which could stand up to a rough environment. This level is very good quality and decently priced.

And the price is right. I have owned a few of these over the years and am replacing them only because whoever last borrowed them have not returned them! Not the first time with a “useful” tool!.

Pros I tested the square and it is accurate at 90 degr4ees and the level is level. I tested the post level and it seems accurate. The post level is supplied with a rubber band to hold the level to the post.

Good value. Picture does not show the level in the square or the rubber band. Cons These are plastic, and do not take to being trodden on. The post level needs a second rubber band for smaller posts.

For a few bucks this is a neat little level. I like these for working with blocks or around the house for pictures or leveling the refrig. Nice and light, seems very accurate for non critical jobs and won’t scratch up surfaces.

I was surprised to see a level and a few other tools for sale at this store because they are usually found in hardware or building supply stores. I needed a small level and it was just what I wanted at a comparable price.

Although you would buy one of these levels at a hardware store or one of the lumber yard stores I saw the level in the store and the price was right and what I needed. I needed a small level and this fit the bill!.

I ordered 3. I put them on the same surface. Each showed the bubble at different leveling position. Tried many times at different surfaces, got a same discrepancy. Now, which one is the real level? I wish I bought only one.

Stanley makes the greatest torpedoe levels; this one isn’t any different.

Not the line level as pictured, the line level I recieved I could have gone to home depot and purchased the same line level at a cheaper price but its not the one I would want or recommend.

If i could rate it 0 stars i would. Worst level i ever owned. I install TVs for a living and use a small level for all my jobs. After my cheap level fell apart i decided to buy one that goes with my other dewalt tools.

After using it on 5 or 6 TV installs i noticed my TVs were not level. After checking with different levels i found my dewalt level as the fault. Dewalt used to be one of the best brands but lately ive been having issues with the new stuff.

Bought a dewalt power inverter for my car and it couldnt even charge my phone new out of the box. Plus the fact that im paying extra just for the dewalt name. Time to go Milwaukee.

I bought this despite the one other review mentioning it wasn’t actually level, thinking theirs was maybe a one-off. It turns out it wasn’t and this level changes its reading just by flipping it around.

Quality DeWalt item that is brilliant for those little jobs around like making sure sockets, pictures etc are level. Horizontal and vertical bubbles are spot on the level supplied to me.

I bought the level twice now, but certainly didn’t have too I just let mine get dirty but it is still plumb. It has a tough durable build quality and design, that can take even the beating from bricklayer treatment.

I’ve dropped it from many a scaffold with no qualms. It’s 1/3 the price of Stabila level, and way more durable. I believe this is because of the I beam design. It also has a groove they add in the middle of the level surface, that leaves a void for debris too not throw you off level.

The ease of use of this thing is phenomenal, and I see no reason for this not to easily last a lifetime.

Build quality seems to be excellent as you’d expect from DeWalt. The problem is that ALL of the top and bottom edges are rounded so you can’t use it to scribe a line. Even the milled surface is bordered by a rounded edge.

The ancient, flimsy I-beam level I replaced with this one had square edges for scribing and I was disappointed to find this one so much less useful.

A solid yet light weight tool that does the job. Got it while on-sale so even happier with the fact that I decided against the plastic alternative.

I bought a Stanley Fatmax 24 inch level about 15 years ago for a renovation I was doing then. Presently, I’m doing another renovation and am using that same one for a tile job I’m doing in another office.

The vial liquid is faded after all these years and being out in the sun but the level is still true and accurate. Due to how well this level still works after all these years I decided to purchase another one for framing.

The Stanley Fatmax line of Stanley levels is manufactured for use in trades and contractor work. With that being said I highly recommend this level for DIYers as well.

I have the 9in, 24in, and 48in box levels and I just purchased this one to complete my set. I am a handyman and use these quite often. They each have magnets in them to help hold onto ferrous “magnetic” surfaces.

They are pretty solid and have a nice bevel on the bottom which helps to hold and level pipes or on corners for vertical X Y on Z axis. This level doesn’t have it, but I especially like the adjustment my 9″ level has for those jobs that require true but are not on level surfaces.

Overall, for this level, I’d rate it a 5* and highly recommend to most anyone performing just about any job out there requiring a good quality, ridged, and true level that is lightweight.

Best Levels!! I have the 24, 48 and 72 in. They are long lasting/high quality because I’ve had these for a long as I can remember and they’re still going strong!! I also have a magnetic torpedo which comes in handy often in the shop.

I love that Stanley has a variety of levels to cover a wide range of jobs because I use all four of mine often and even sometimes have to use multiple levels of different sizes on a single job.

The level works ‘OK’ on flat sided wooden posts, (and possibly concrete, which I didn’t try). but it doesn’t sit well on slotted concrete posts. It’s also a rather cheap and flimsy item. It certainly wasn’t as accurate as my 4 foot aluminium level.

My advice would be to stick to a traditional level, even if it is a bit more cumbersome.

Worth paying a bit more for this. I do know the elastic strap degrades over time though
