The Canon MF451dw is a robust business class printer that is easy to setup and configure. The MF451dw offers multiple configuration options for us including wireless, wired (ethernet), and USB connectivity (USB not included).

Upon unpacking and initial setup, the color touchscreen walks through the initial setup requirements. If utilizing the USB option, included is a DVD with drivers and software which surprised me as I can’t imagine many users will have a need for this.

The Canon website makes it easy to navigate and download the required drivers and/or software before connecting. Once setup, this unit will keep up with any large print job with up to 34ppm printing.

Scanning is easy to setup and configure the default options with the MF Scan utility. You can access the printer web interface for additional settings if required. However, most of the settings can be adjusted directly from the color touch screen.

Overall, this is a very robust and stylish Canon MFP that will last for years and is perfect for any office or home office environment.

So I purchased this printer after reading the reviews and here’s what I’ve discovered regarding this particular printer. First off, as far as the hardware itself goes, the unit is well built and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Moving onto the software things become less positive. Without going into lots of details suffice to say you need to have knowledge of networking topologies in order to set this printer up to work frustration free.

I have this printer on a combination wired/wireless network with multiple devices accessing it (Ipads, Iphones, Laptops and hard wired desktop units) and experienced some initial frustrations with configuring the software/printer settings.

As an example I installed the printer software on a laptop and a desktop Pc both running the same version of Windows 10. When I go to print a word document from the laptop I have no problem but if I tried to print the same document from the desktop Pc it would cause the printer to emit an audible alert to which I had to go to the printers inbuilt touchscreen and select the proper paper tray.

weird! Again all in all I’m happy with the quality of the printer just be aware that depending on your home setup you might experience some quirks in getting this printer to operate frustration free.

I’ve had the same label maker for years, but my batteries corroded inside and it stopped working. Dymo still makes this model, so I got a new one. The first one I tried kept jamming, but apparently, you can’t re-use batteries (meaning you can’t take the batteries from the old one and put them in the new one, you need all new batteries).

I took it back to Staples and they exchanged it for me, and even gave me a set of batteries at no charge. They went above and beyond service. Thank you. I also never realized that this model has an optional dc cord that you can get.

I went ahead and ordered that as well, but it hasn’t come in yet.

Been using label makers for 4 decades – craft containers, baking jars, plant tags, etc. Own many makes and my Brother was the go-to but the tapes got super expensive. So I tried the DYMO 160 and wish I’d owned one years ago! The tapes are affordable, and there are a variety of colors on ZORO and other sites to choose from.

The best part is the split backing which makes it super easy to remove from the adhesive side. I use the Black on Clear for white containers, clear glass and plastic containers, etc. Has an auto-off that saves the batteries and packed with features.

I’ve read reviews that complained about the sophisticated levels of options, but thats actually a feature that allows a compact tool to offer way more options than surface buttons would allow. Love the qwerty keypad, big enough buttons to easily navigate without mistakes.

For the price there is no better label maker on the market!.

Feels sturdy. Good desktop size. Might be a little big for smaller hands to hold for a long time. Print quality nice. Cons: disappointed that tape will not stick to clean electrical wires (must wrap tape around wire and stick to itself; biggest complaint is that lower portion of the display is almost impossible to read (I.

e. , font size); and finally, I was very surprised at what I considered, the short length of the provided tape. If you use this a lot, tape replenishment is expensive.

The Oreck U2000RB-1 is very powerful and does a great job in vacuuming carpets and hard floors. I am very pleased with the cord that plugs into the vacuum separate from the hard wired cord. This is a wonderful improvement should the cord get damaged.

This allows one to order a replacement cord without having to take the unit to a repair shop which will save a lot of money. I am also very impressed with the carrying handle. The Oreck U2000RB-1 exceeds my expectations.

I rate this vacuum a “10”. This unit is a tremendous bargain for Commercial or residential use. We bought it for our home and are very pleased. The belt has a 5 year Warranty which adds even more value.

This Oreck Commercial is a great vacuum. It is better than the household Oreck XL that I am replacing. It is better than the Shark Professional. It is better than any Bissell, Hoover, or Rainbow that I’ve ever owned.

This is simply a great vacuum that picks up dirt and pet hair from shag or smooth carpet, and just keeps working. I wish I had found this Oreck Commercial Vacuum sooner, before I had to replace all the other brands every two years.

I highly recommend this Oreck Commercial Vacuum.

I bought this set at a hardware store. And went to use it and the impact did not work. Tried multiple battery’s of my other Milwaukee tools and still nothing it was a day old. Took it back they gave me.

A new set. The impact was put to the test helping a local 4H group build some animal pens for their barn. The Milwaukee was the only one there and most every one had ryobi and there was even a harbor freight impact there.

I went through 7 battery’s to every ones 1-2 battery’s all equivalent six battery’s. We were building panels on an assembly line so pretty equal use. I even own ryobi stuff for around my home it was a gift.

I have my Milwaukee stuff at home. I am very disappointed in the performance of these tools. The drill also makes a noise when you let off the button and it is in the clutch. The drill gets really hot when you use it.

NOT VERY IMPRESSED with these tools.

I have bought two of these they twist my wrist and then they shut off. They can’t drill a 4 inch hole in 1/2” sheet rock. Well; eventually after eight or 10 minutes of it shutting off and jerking my wrist.

It is a miserable tool to use and a disappointment for any contractor especially plumber who tries to run a drill bit in it. The only thing I could use this drill for, is hanging pictures. I can’t think of another use for it.

It’s this brushless crap. The brain in the drill has no idea how much power to give the motor. Then the moment the drill feels a load it shuts down. I sent the first one for repair, the second one I just threw at the salesman.

Literally. Why is the minimum one star, this drill deserves lower. I was complaining at the supply house when the guy next to me said he replaced his every year. That’s a lot of sales congrats Milwaukee I should buy stock.

So far so good. I use it mainly for automotive hobby stuff, track days/hpde, or working on the car. The impact is very balanced and the trigger easy to control. I usually break a tq with a wrench and use this to remove quickly.

For install the impact is close to 80 ft-lbs which is about the lug bolt rating for my car. I do Tq those with a wrench as well. I have used the drill less but it is performing well. The smaller battery is good for my needs so far.

I would say 5 stars but it’s new. BTB my Son-in-Law and daughter’s business is roofing and siding and Milwaukee is what they buy. Better warranty than most others and good reviews on PF too.

This was an updated replacement countertop can opener for a much older Cuisinart model which we had gotten many years of excellent use from. I opted to purchase from Cuisinart/Conair as their pricing was better than Amazon.

I do, however, regret the decision somewhat since I would have been more satisfied with the stainless model which Cuisinart did not offer but Amazon did. That being said, the white model which I am now using seems to be more cheaply made than our older model: lighter in weight so not as sturdy seeming.

The blade is quite sharp as one would expect of an new model, so cans open easily. This was the problem with our older model, the blade unit failed. I will be keeping this new can opener as I consider the environment and waste disposal with every purchase I make, however, I will continue to regret not purchasing the stainless model!! A plus for Cuisinart/Conair is that I was able to return the two blade units to them that I had originally ordered when trying to initially solve the problem by replacing them.

Hopefully they’ll be resold and or recycled! Every action that we take must take into account its impact on the environment!.

When I moved here to this apartment I didn’t have a can opener. I had used an electric one mounted under an upper kitchen cabinet for years and years but I couldn’t take it with me. I wound up buying a cheap $5 handheld one at the grocery store which worked for like 2 years before literally falling apart.

I had had enough of the hand can opener and went with a countertop electric one. I snagged the Cuisinart CCO-50B on Amazon for like $15. I didn’t need anything fancy. I just wanted something that could stand up to opening 3 or 4 28-ounce cans of peeled tomatoes in one go.

And that is what this thing does. I use this Cuisinart Can Opener for crushed and whole peeled tomatoes, tuna, cat food, tomato paste, store-bought broth/stock, beans, etc. I’ve had it for about a year and haven’t had any issue with it.

If it self-destructed tomorrow I’d be okay with that and feel like I got my $15 worth out of it. I’d even buy it again.

This is my third one,. my (now)ex-MIL bought my first and it was amazing. Several years later, i wore it out and bought another. I still have that one but it was looking a little worn and I just use it for pet food now.

I bought this new one a few months ago, and have only used it for small cans so far – 14 oz cans of tomatoes, or olives, tuna, beans, etc. and it has been fine. but last night i had friends for dinner and needed to open two 28 oz cans of tomatoes for sauce for several people.

The magnets COULDN’T HANDLE the weight!! The cans kept sliding down off the cutting area. I pulled out the old one, cleaned it up a little and swapped out the new cutting arm and opened the cans with no problem.

I am shocked at how much the quality has gone down in the last few years. Fortunately, living alone, i don’t often have to open big heavy cans, and I still have the old one if I ever do, but you can bet when the time comes, I will NOT be buying another Cuisinart.

I gave it 3 stars only because it’s fine for little cans, I was probably too generous.

I have had this set for a week now, I use it for heating and air-conditioning. This is a great every day used socket set. With sockets from 5/32 all the way up to 7/8 and 5 mm to 19 mm. Also comes with small extension, and 3/8 to 1/4 adapter.

sockets don’t have a ton of variation to them, but what variation there is is very well executed here, nice knurling, clear marking,s great stuff. Where this set really comes into its own is with the ratchet handle.

The handle is incredibly satisfying to hold in your hand, well balanced, good feel even in a large hand, but not bulky. The ratchet mechanism is smooth with almost no backlash at all. The carrying case is great, and if you need more space you can pull the liner tray out and use it as a large open box, way better than a single use case with wasted space.

All round just a great quality set that’s nice to work with, highly recommend.

I bought this as I outgrew my little drawer parts cabinets. This has done the trick. Although not the strongest parts rack, it does hold my bolts and nuts from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. I put one thread pitch in one and one in the other bins.

I use the middle one for the nuts. The bins has a place to put a label so one can ask their wife to get a bolt needed as he lays under the old truck. I plan on bolting this to the shelf but, I do remove it time to time to go through the sizes of bolts needed.

The plastic may come across as flimsy but I have not had one break yet and I’ve knocked it over onto the ground and dropped bins with no problems or cracking. Just enough flex but not enough to sage.

For the home owner who has extra bolts, this may be your ticket.

I have a project that I am constantly adding and subtracting parts from as I use them. This is great as I can assemble the parts in the blue tray #1 with the red tray #2 and place in the yellow use tray #1.

I needed 5 rows and this is perfect. There are many uses for assorted nuts, screws, bolts, nails, and so much more. I assembled it quickly and I did place a piece of painter’s tape on the slide bar to secure the tray tighter than it was because I tend to bump the tray above.

Ideally I would like the stand to sit back another inch or so so I don’t have wasted space behind it, but I do like it.

I purchased this set as it came with a metal mounting plate. I screws the plat to the wall verses using the stand. The bins are pretty light weight but work well for nuts and bolts. I had a hard time hanging the bins as the backs were pretty tight.

It worked well to slide them on from the side. I was hoping they could be taken on and off a bit easier.

I’ve had & used this DWMT73808 bit & nutdriver set for several months & it has been every bit as helpful & useful as I had hoped it would be! I’ve found that I use the included bits/nutdrivers mostly with the included driver handle, but I’ve also learned that these bits & nutdrivers work great in my DCF887, as well as in my B&D LI4000.

Highly recommended! There are just two things about this items case that I believe could be modified to make this set even more useful: 1. The case just doesn’t stand up well if set on its hinged edge – it tends to tip over very easily.

Maybe that unusual design of that edge is necessary for some technical reason, but because its carry handle is on the opposite edge, I’ve had many times when I’ve wanted to set it down (or even store it on a shelf) on its he hinged edge but can’t our of concern it will fall over.

I believe this issue would vanish if you would just “square up” (& maybe lengthen) the many hinge braces along that hinged edge. 2. It’s VERY helpful that each of the black bit holders is clearly marked in white to identify the location of each specific bit.

Perhaps that sort of ” spoiled” me because it makes it so much easier than trying to find any specific nutdriver in the set. Identifying the location of any specific nutdriver is so much more difficult because each identifying character (though raised) is the exact same color/material as the surrounding plastic, making it much harder to read, particularly in low light situations.

It would be a huge improvement if you can find a way to also cause all of the nutdriver identification characters to be in a color that contrasts with their background. That would make each nutdriver MUCH easier to locate.

(I’ll also mention it would be helpful if the included driver handle had a reversing ratchet & a magnetic tip. I knew this set had neither when I bought it, so this is not a complaint, but I think it would make it a more valuable set.

In contrast, the two things I mentioned above are observations about how the product I bought “works” as purchased. ) Again, this is a GREAT set with an awesome selection of specific bits & nutdrivers, many of which often are quite difficult to find when the need arises (e.

g. , the “security” bits & nutdrivers in 32nds sizes).

5-STARS was just what i was looking for, case fits perfect in my tool bag. The quality is really great and includes a large variety of bits, also its nice how the bits don’t just slide in the end of driver handle but they push in and kind of snap in place so your bit is not falling out of driver.

In my opinion this kit was well worth the price i paid.

i have no problems at all with this set. it is just as expected , perfect. i had to do a little getting around this review for the next part. i wrote a review 2 days ago about the dcf887b. the one i purchased wobbled in the chuck.

since that time Dewalt has sent me a new dcf887b with absolutely NO WOBBLE in the chuck. i knew there was a reason i went with Dewalt to begin with. not only for the power the quality and now for their excellent customer service.

my faith is renewed in Dewalt !.

My Dymo Label Maker LM160 disappeared so I bought the LabelManager 280–mostly because the 160 was not in stock and might take a month to arrive. I was attracted by the ability to run software on Windows to print labels as I can with my Brother address-label printer.

It would not let me do anything until it was charged so I read the manual while waiting. The doc only tells how to install the battery and the tape cartridge and sends customers off to a website to install the software.

The USB cable has a sticker that warns not to plug it in until the software was installed. I’m a retired Microsoft engineer with over 40 years in the PC industry. The software installation was chaotic at best.

The Support. Dymo. com site had me install Windows software that was supposed to be compatible with versions of Windows 8. 0 and later. Unfortunately, it’s not. I installed it several times only to find it did not start.

I ultimately gave up and called Dymo support (in Poland). The tech told me that there was a bug in. NET (an internal component in Windows that every single application written in the last 10 years uses).

He admitted they didn’t have enough engineers to get it working. He did, however, point me to a Dymo site where I could download older versions of the software. By today’s standards, it’s pretty lame.

He also said the interface to Microsoft Word was broken as well. He suggested that I type in Word and cut/paste into the old Dymo app. As far as a basic label maker goes, it’s all right–probably 4 stars.

If your thumbs don’t wear out trying to navigate the menus, you can make pretty fancy labels–that’s why I like to use Windows apps to format the labels. Since it’s the only model available for now, it will have to do.

The software shows everything in really crisp resolution. But prints look like they are 100dpi or less. I think the product features are exaggerated. The software could show a more realistic preview.

I would not recommend any advanced version based on the experience with the software. It does not accomplish much more than what the cheaper Dymo models do. The resolution is much lower than what I have expected for a product today.

Maybe 20 years ago this resolution would have been awesome, but today it just looks like an old product facelifted.

I am new to labeling and used this to organize an office filing system. This appears to have the best of the best features among labelers. It is priced nicely and will hold up long term to use for large or small labeling jobs.

It made my task easier and was easy to operate and was not time consuming. It was helpful that it is rechargeable, handheld and portable so I could move around to different areas of the building and label files before moving them.

This labeler is lightweight, very simple to operate and I like that it has a large display screen and good quality key pad. To get a label you select the font size, type your label line, hit the print button and the label comes out of the top and you push the button on the side to cut it off cleanly.

Pretty easy and the labels are easy to read and look great. It has some memory to remember text you use frequently so you don’t have to retype over and over. The labeler comes with a USB cable and can be connected to a computer to make labels with custom fonts and graphics.

Now the filing system is organized, neat, uniform and much easier to access and keep in order.

This is an okay printer. Be warned, it doesn’t ship with a cable to plug into your computer. If you don’t want to install it wireless, you’ll have to get your own cable. It prints well, so it does it’s job.

It’s loud though. I don’t know if it’s the printer trying to find paper, but you can hear it running loudly after you first turn it on. It’s awkwardly loud for a printer, I’m not sure how else to describe it.

The drivers we needed, to get the scanner to work, were difficult to find on the website. It took some extra effort to get that part of the printer to function like it was supposed to, and that was with my husband, and myself, both being pretty familiar with computers and installing devices.

Someone less technologically savvy might have a harder time getting this device set up. This printer isn’t as user friendly as it could be, when it comes to dealing with issues. There are relatively fewer buttons to do things, and it makes troubleshooting problems difficult.

While it looks simple to use, it isn’t as simple when you need to try and address an issue. That being said, I like the fact that it has a scanner, you feed paper in through the front (and not the top), and the color is fun and different.

For no more than I purchased it for, so far it’s a decent little printer.

Just bought this printer and set up was easy and clear. It connected to my internet just fine, as there are a lot of reviews saying that was a common issue. All the test prints look great! HELPFUL TIP: It navigates you through an installation program and at the end it gives you a list of additional programs to install.

these programs are NOT needed. All you need to install are the drivers so your computer can register it as an available device. I had installed everything first and went into my Apps on my computer and saw the unnessary amount of programs it had installed for no reason.

I uninstalled everything and realized my computer wasn’t registering it anymore so I had to reinstall but like I said, at the end it gives you a list with check boxes and I just unchecked everything and it did not install those unnessary programs, just the drivers which is all you need.

So I did the extra troubleshooting so you don’t have to! Less programs you download on your computer, the better it will run. Sorry, that does not have to do with the printer itself but it is mandatory for wireless connection.

Great, cheap printer for home use!.

I purchased this printer exclusively for home use and so far, I am satisfied with the production and quality of the prints. My printer is paired with both my PC and Mac and had little issues setting up the printer for USB and wifi connectivity.

One thing I do emphasize is to follow the instructions that are included with the printer to ensure your setup process goes smoothly. Also, if you plan on using the printer connected via USB, ensure that you purchase a USB-A to USB-B cable.

The printer does not include a USB cable. As a budget printer, I knew what to expect and I wasn’t wrong. The scanner is decent, the printer is loud when turning it on and while it prints, but again, not a deal breaker.

I am happy with the purchase I made and would recommend this printer to anyone who needs a basic home printer for occasional printing. If you do need to print multiple pages, I would recommend a laser jet printer that easily handles high volume printing.

For years i have searched for a single device that can satisfy my needs for scanning, copying and printing as well as faxing. The Brother L2710DW satisfies all those requirements. I would have to say the best feature is being able to copy something with just a button click.

My wife loves this feature! No computer required and you still have control over copy count, density and scaling. Having a wifi network connected printer was a huge game changer for me. No more going to the computer whenever i had to print a document or user manul or woodwoking plans.

I can connect to the printer from the phone and print directly. Another wife pleaser too! Scanning multiple document pages used to take hours using my flat bed sanner. With the new L2710DW i can scan a whole document in minutes using the automatic document feeder.

It was quick and easy to learn. The only feature i have not fully examined is the fax capability. I may need this is the future for business purposes so i made sure it had the capabilty. Based on the excellent performance of the other features, i have no doubt the fax will be just as easy to use and intuitive.

Finally i would like to praise the fixed button specific controls. I have read all kinds of reviews that say that the menu driven single screen is the best format; I disagree! I don’t have to look a tiny screen with a small font on the L2710DW.

The screen is large and easy to ready and backlit and the apllication specific buttons make it super easy to switch between copy, scan, print and fax. This is a huge plus for this is the only office device i have and can quickly switch between features.

I give the printer and overall rating of a 5, even though i have not tested the fax feature. Im sure the fax will not disappoint and will be just to easy to use as the other features. The L2710DW is a real time saver, feature packed, easy to use smart device that evey personal or home office should have.

Replaced a 12 year old HP Laser Printer with this AIO because I needed a new laser and my Epson AIO InkJet was doing bad scans. For some odd reason, laser all-in-ones cost much less than equivalent laser printers.

Maybe it’s the lower capacity cartridges? For home use, this cartridge may only last a few years vs 5 years with a higher capacity one, but it’s still less than inkjet. I don’t give this 5 stars because sometimes the scanner document feeder doesn’t pull the pages 100% straight.

And the image quality on the scans from the feeder could be sharper for graphics. But it makes “kinkos” quality copies most of the time, which is better than inkjet AIO. I have had no issues so far printing from the Mac, Scaning to the Mac, printing over AirPrint, etc.

I have the printer connected via Ethernet. I haven’t tried faxing. One other reason I don’t give this 5 stars is that when it wakes up, it seems to draw LOTS of volts (not Amps). It is so strong that it can cause a voltage drop if connected to a UPS system, causing it to click.

I also have that connected to a voltage regulator, that clicks when the printer wakes up. This is before it prints. So it’s not the fuser drawing this power, it’s the machine waking. I had to connect the printer directly to the wall, bypassing these devices because I don’t want to shorten their lives or the lives of things attached to them.

I am assuming the printer itself is designed for this and hopefully will live a long life. But I have never seen another printer do that to the line voltage, so it is something to consider.

I hardly use this all-in-one after a month of ownership, since I have to reconfigure it everyday I use it and setting it up is no small feat, as others have also mentioned. My internet is pretty strong for everyday video calls and streaming, but I cannot keep communication with the printer for some reason.

There are practically no instructions in the box, outside of telling you to go online to configure the machine. I just downloaded everything related to my model from Canon’s site before configuring. The machine comes with a CD for windows users only–sorry Mac folks.

I called for help the first day I got it and customer service was friendly, but I solved the issue on my own. The print jobs are fast, when you finally get to that point. Still I would not recommend this product to anyone, but it gets 2 stars for fast printing, expandable paper trays, and friendly/easily understood customer service reps.

There are more options out there–skip this one.

I had read various critical reviews, some such as “ DOES NOT PRINT IN COLOR” are from people not paying attention, note the word “Monochrome” in the description folks, others said that set up was difficult and and getting it to work on the network was excessively complicated.

I have used a # of hp printers and always found their setup easy so I was thinking maybe this will take some time. In fact setup was really quite easy and faultless. I went to the Canon website and downloaded the printer’s software, I do not like to rely on the CD which surprisingly still comes with the printer.

The one caveat is I found navigating the Canon website to find the downloads to be more cumbersome than most others. I did the same setup procedure on other computers that would be sharing this printer, connected the printer via the wireless to the network and installed it and it works fine.

I also tested for printing from my iPad and that also works, I downloaded the Canon Print Business app and tested the scanning function from the iPad, again works fine. As far as speed goes it is quite quick to startup and print.

Overall based on first impressions seems like a great value.

I almost didn’t get it on the day of delivery, because the delivery person almost gave it to my neighbors. LOL! That was honestly a little frustrating. Anyway, once I got it set up, it was very easy to use.

It’s used as my little shop/networking printer–for my business and all of my kids to print from it. I’m a computer repair guy, and I do some networking here and there to help them out, but for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get it to all work together.

SO, after a 2 hour plus call with Canon, it worked fabulously. There were just a few small things that I didn’t do to get it all working together. It works great as a Networking printer. It will work fabulously and no problems with my PC’s, my macs have been a little more troublesome, BUT, I’m happy to announce that it will work with my son’s Google Pixelbook.

I’ve had Canon Laser printers for years. Seems like it always works seamlessly with PCs, Macs–not entirely sure, and pretty much never with Chromebooks until now. Staples is a fantastic company to help out their customers because I know that if you lose one, it may be extra hard to get a good one back!.

The printer arrived before the promised delivery date. It was well packaged and easy to unpack and install. This is the second printer of this model that my Husband has installed. The first printer was installed in a matter of an hour or so, and this included signing up for the Instant Ink service.

The HP OfficeJet 8020e was selected for use as a network COLOR printer, and for use as a networked scanner – to be used by our families multiple Windows and Linux computer systems. This printer was purchased to replace a 6-year old ENVY 5530 all-in-one printer, that became totally non-functional after a multiple hour “debugging” session with HP Support technicians.

Prior to the support call, the ENVY 5530 could print, but its scanner suddenly stopped working. It has been used as a low-volume copier/printer, and to scan original documents for storage or transmission.

After the multi-hour support call, the ENVY 5530 printer is now a dead paper-weight, and now will not print or scan. The first HP8020E that my Husband installed only required a 5-minute installation of the required print driver for Windows, and it was instantly available for use as a network printer by our Windows and Linux computer systems.

The new HP 8020E, however, REQUIRES that you install HP SMART PRINT on a Windows system, before you can even sign up for the Instant Ink service. We experienced difficulties in (1) the installation of Smart Print, (2) updating HP’s Support Assistant, and (3) attempting to add the new printer to our existing Instant Ink account.

My guess is that some folks may have had trouble in the past either installing the appropriate Windows printer driver, or maybe they had difficulty in using printer’s built-in Web Server for any of its fancier functions, such as scanning from a networked computer.

And the “fix” by HP appears to have been to require the use of the HP Support Assistant and/or the HP Smart Printer application. The Smart Print application, however, kept confusing the previous ENVY 5530 printer with the HP OfficeJet 8020E printer and so kept claiming that the “proper” driver –was– installed, but the app (Win10 program) could not communicate with the newer HP 8020E printer – and the app suggested that we call HP Support for assistance.

After several different phone calls, and hard to hear conversations, the problems were finally resolved. As soon as the necessary changes were made to our Instant Ink account, the printer was fully operational from all of our computing devices.

Would I purchase this printer again? YES! The printer works flawlessly and does everything we needed.

First of all, I want to say that I purchased this printer after reading a ton of positive reviews and based on my great experience with my old OfficeJet printer that lasted for years and always provided excellent quality prints and scans.

I was 100% confident in my purchase of this product, now I wish I had never bought it. I have had nothing but problems from the day I got it home. I did not want to connect to my wi-fi (and I have excellent wi-fi speed with boosters all over my home that were professionally installed by my carrier).

Then, it didn’t want to connect to my Dell computer. After many HP support chats, I finally got the thing set up, but it won’t stay connected to my laptop. I’m constantly having to run the HP Smart Troubleshoot and repair it to get it to reconnect to my computer.

I’m replacing the ink for the first time, using a generic ink from a brand that I have always used and trust well. I just put the new ink cartridges in the printer gave me an error message “Cartridges Rejected”, “The indicated cartridges have been identified as altered or cloned”, “HP+ Printers require Original HP cartridges.

Replace the non-original cartridges to continue printing”!!!! Now, if you don’t mind all of this, this print quality is good, and the scan quality is good. I haven’t had any trouble with paper jams either.

Mechanically, it’s a well-built printer and worth the money. That is if you want to spend all of your money on overpriced ink and all of your time fighting to constantly reconnect it to your non-HP computer! So for Value, I’m rating this a 1 because they expect you to spend all of your money on HP supplies, including the computer that you connect it to.

Quality, I’ll rate it a 4 because when you are able to print or scan, the quality that you would expect from an OfficeJet is there, but I’m very disappointed with the time that I have to spend to get it to produce.

For Ease of use, I would rate it a 0 if I could. Would I recommend this product, as I stated, only if you have a newer HP computer and are willing to spend the money on HP supplies, including paper.

I bought this a couple months ago with the intent of using it for both personal and work use, as I work from home. The initial set up process was okay, as I bought this printer with the full intent of using the HP+ and Instant Ink services, so I knew I’d need it connected to wifi and all that.

However, the HASSLE that came with also trying to get the printer connected via USB to my work computer which utilizes a VPN rendering the wireless connection unable to be used – was ridiculous. You would think the printer would be able to be connected to a computer and work the same way printers always have worked, but it still needed the wireless connection for set up which was interfering with my ability to use it.

Long story short there, through a lot of work with my work IT guys, we figured out how to simultaneously have it connected wirelessly to my personal computer while also connected through USB to my work computer and both options work to print and scan.

It was a seemingly unnecessarily long, complicated process to get to that point in the first place though. What’s troubling me now is that sometimes the printer just wants to refuse or takes forever to print something, especially if it has been a little while since I used it.

It will sit and make all kinds of annoying LOUD noises like it’s *going to* print, but never actually prints anything until you cancel (which also takes forever) and restart the printer. This is what I’m talking about when I say when it works it’s great.

When it is seamlessly printing, the quality is good. I like to print pictures on letter paper and the print and color quality for those are nice. The HP+ or HP smart whatever app on my computer has nice features and I enjoy the Instant Ink service a great deal as well.

It’s just the hassles that this printer sometimes has to just go through the simple task of printing that drives me insane.

This HL-L6200DW printer replaces a similar 12 yr old Brother laser printer. The 6200 appears to have a bit better build quality but same compact styling. The L6200DW is very easy to set up. Virtually a plug and play setup.

The printer setup will guide you through all steps. The printer is fast, duplex printing and the paper tray holds a full 500 sheet ream of paper. After having other name brand printers for 30 yrs, I discovered Brother laser printers work as well or better and the consumable products are much less expensive.

Don’t hesitate to try a Brother printer. They are workhorses and will last for years and cost you less.

I’ve had nothing but excellent results from this printer. Since I print 30 or 40 pages sporadically, I needed a laser printer instead of an inkjet. Most of my printing so far has been schematics of electrical boards (accurate small detail is a must) pdf’s of my radio’s owner/user manuals and receipts from purchases from the internet.

So far, it’s been 700 double-sided pages. This solid B&W printer fits the bill perfectly. I had no problem getting the printer to install on a Linux distro, which is my main OS. It works fabulously on Win10 and Mac as well.

I’m impressed and would purchase again with no hesitation.

My HP color printer finally died. I spent soooooo much on ink replacements and was constantly fixing paper jams. This laser Brother 6200 has been awesome. Installed the driver on both my desktop and laptop in about 20-25 minutes.

Works great. Hardwired one and WiFi the other. Print quality excellent. So nice I will be able to print LOTS of pages before need to replace toner. I’m gonna buy one for my mother for Christmas so she can stop dealing with her frustrating printer that was like my old ones Only con? Seems to go through some sort of warm up or maintenance process every 10 minutes or so and motor makes noise similar to boot up.

Basically I just turn it off when not using to avoid.

Dremel tools are super. The Dremel 4000 rotary tool is great this is my second one. My other 1 is in my Dremel router table. I now have 7 Dremel rotary tools. I still have the one I bought when I was a teenager and it still works—50 some years ago.

I have 2 router tables with defferant shape bits,a deill press, a wood wisard for pen blanks, and several for free handed work. The wrench free chucks are great ( I need more ). You can not go wrong if you buy dremel tools.

I have the Dremel muti tool, it is better than other name brands. The double deep blades that dremel makes are great if you need a further reach. The battery powered dremel rotay tools are super. you do not have to run extention cords to do work away from power outlets.

DREMEL TOOLS ARE THE BEST>.

I have used lots of different rotary tools in my work and hobbies. But the dremel 3000 is far the best. It may be more expensive but not by much. But the quality is fantastic. With this kit you get the 225 flexi shaft aswell.

Which makes carving and polishing so easy. Dremel also have a wide varighty of attachments and bits which are quality. The bits last alot longer than the cheap ones out there. I also bought the workstation that turns the dremel into a drill press which compliments it.

Worth 5 stars all the way Screwfix delivered the next day free of charge with an hourly time slot. Fantastic you will not be dissapointed.

This is the second of these tools I have purchased to replace the first one, The first one has been subject to continued use on what at times is almost industrial scale over a 5 year period. Has been used on carbon steel up to 5mm thick, yes five millimetres, stainless steel, aluminium and fibre glass.

There is a knack to using something as small as this. It`s a mere 130 watts so let the tool do the work. Patience don`t rush it. In order to prevent overheating check where you have your second hand.

It will almost certainly be helping steady the tool as it tries to run sideways and your hand will be over the cooling holes. Always move your hand away from these holes. If it gets hot, and it will, give it a rest to cool.

One of the best value for money tools I have ever bought and over a 50 year period I have bought a lot.

– I bought the DS2422+ because Synology supports a migration procedure from an older Synology NAS. You can take your HDDs out of your older Synology NAS and place them in this unit. This is a great feature, but things went down hill from there.

– After putting my HDDs in the DS2422+, the NAS did boot up but I saw these issues: * HDD status shows ‘unverified’ * When creating a storage pool with the migrated HDDs, you get warnings * Storage pools with any unverified HDD would show a danger status and you get warning alerts/emails.

* The DSM software no longer shows drive bad sector count, temp, etc. for my unverified drives – Synology has adopted a highly restrictive new support policy for HDDs – My HDDs that were once supported in another Synology NAS are no longer compatible in my DS2422+.

I have lost functionality. – As of this writing, there are 11 Synology drives and 1 Western Digital drive listed as compatible from the Synology website. The hundreds (thousands) of other NAS drives on the market are unverified or unsupported.

– I contacted Synology support to understand why my HDDs are now unverified and they said one reason is because the NAS cannot update the firmware on the HDDs. Personally, I don’t want my NAS to dig into my HDD.

– Beyond this issue, DS Photo is no longer available on the unit. You have to use Synology Photos. Connecting your smartphone in your own home using your own LAN to the DS2422+ should be easy. I haven’t gotten it to work (DS Photo would connect just fine).

Synology encourages you to use their QuickConnect technology which may route your photos from your mobile to Synology servers back to your NAS to be stored. No thank you. – Synology does not offer hardware repair service for your NAS outside of the 3 year US warranty.

This means if you have a NAS motherboard failure outside 3 years, your NAS is dead.

I purchased the DS1522+ out of sheer frustration with other backup methods. Over the years I have tried quite a few and always have been let down. However, I have been overjoyed with the results of this Synology product so far.

My initial aim was to be able to back up my systems overnight, so it doesn’t interfere with my work during the day. So, I ordered the 10Gb ethernet adapter before I received the NAS. I initiated an install, setup, and backup on the NAS before I got the 10G.

I might not have ordered the 10G if I had known how well it was going to work. More on that below. Setup was extremely easy. I just plunged in without much reading. The only problem I had was when I installed and used the 10gb adapter.

Apparently, part of the login authentication involves the use of the IP address. Once I figured that out, I was able to fix it. I do not seriously recommend the method of plunging right in. But I wanted to see how far I could go.

For my workstation which has 4 file systems and about 9T of data that includes video and Photoshop files. 95% of it is stored on two 7200rpm drives. The rest is on 2 NVMe drives. So here is the backup time for 5 different backups using Active Backup for Business.

That would include any version kept. I have tried this, and it works extremely easy and effectively. I have not tried the restore function yet but will soon.

I bought this chair roughly a month ago for my desk, I am a dental student and use it every day for studying. Positives: Assembly wasn’t a problem, pretty easy overall. The seat cushion is acceptable, obviously not luxury leather seat comfy but not bad.

The folding armrests are nice and helpful, especially for pushing into the desk when you’re not using it, and the cushioning on them is the same as the seat so not bad. The lift and lower hydrolics of the chair are good and stable.

Negatives: The seat back is a little far back for my taste and the lumbar support you see is counterproductive when the stiff mesh (which is also not that comfortable) prevents your back from getting anywhere near the support part.

My biggest gripe with this chair is the reclining. Even with the knob turned to the highest reclining ability, the chair barely reclines at all. More agitatedly, the reclining requires a bit of force (and maintaining that force) to make it recline the 1cm it does.

This HERCULES Series Big & Tall 400 lb. Rated Black Mesh Ergonomic Drafting Chair is a great asset to my home office setting. I find it to be very supportive, quite comfortable, and professionally attractive.

It’s very sturdy, and very stable. It rolls easily, and smoothly even over my carpeted home office floor, and it feels very stable while doing so. It’s 400 lb. Rating provides me with peace of mind that it will maintain a nice long, comfortable, functionality for a long time.

It was pretty easy to assemble and I was able to figure out, and have it set up within a reasonable amount of time. It only took about 20 minutes to put together by myself. There are only six instructional pictures steps.

The manufacturer includes a great bonus of two pistons, a taller and a shorter one. I quite like it, and I highly recommend this office task chair.

The good thing is the chair has a lot of adjustments – tilt, back angle and height and super easy to put together. The not so good – I wish the back was padded instead of mesh. When I lean back I can feel the top of the frame digging into my back.

The seat bottom is firm and has a premade butt print in it which seemed comfortable at first but after sitting a few hours my butt began to hurt. Also, the fabric on the chair is slippery and can feel myself slipping off.

It would be great if they had a “leather” option for this chair. I’m still on the fence about keeping this chair or finding something else. It’s really difficult finding a comfy chair when you can’t sit in it before buying.

I grew three Cali OGKush Haze plants this Summer on the deck. Brought them inside on the 28th September when weather got cool and damp. Cut down on Oct 10th and hung. Oct 22nd put in vented totes. Nov 10th Deleafed and put in 4 CVaults.

One plant took two. Delivery was fast with no damage. I have never seen such well packaged items. The boxes were wrapped with heavey paper,with “this side up” and “fragile” stickers on all sides. No dammaged CVaults.

The cover makes a tight seal and they will be a lot easyer to burp than multiple jars. They are not a “must have” but if you can afford them, they make curing cannabis easyer. Thank you Indoor Farmer.

We have a few different sizes (they offer many). They’re super efficient and I like the sleek silver look. They hold a little moisture control pack in the lid. Replacements are easy to find/buy. You don’t have to replace it often, but once the moisture pack becomes crunchy/dry you want to switch it out with a fresh one.

We like to use the * Boveda Packs * but there are different brands. The container itself seals well and holds a lot. Even the small ones hold more than they appear to. They’re kinda pricey but we’ve been using ours for 8+ years and they still seal well.

Definitely worth the money spent.

The product itself is amazing and a great solution for curing; I won’t use any other manufacturers products. I just wish that they didn’t send me damaged and dented units. The boveda pack holder could use a better welded connection as two of four units came separated.

I’m assuming these must’ve been knocked around a little but I didn’t have time to replace them so I glued the trays and hammered out the dents to the best of my ability. Otherwise, the product is great.

I already had a set of these. I never thought I would use the really small clamps but I’ve been finding they are super handy. Can’t beat the price and quality on these. 5 stars!

Used for my laminate flooring when cutting the long side using jigsaw. Works perfectly but little pricey in my opinion. Recommended.
