I’ve been looking at mechanics tool sets in cases for a while and this completely fit the bill! This set is very well rounded and has everything from universal-joints to all size extensions! This set just has everything, things not always combined in others which made this a big win! The tools are very well built and extremely tough as they held up getting some very old parts loose.

The buttons on the ratchets are easy to operate with big or small hands and fingers. The finish is nice and makes for very easy wipe down after use. The hard case is much better than I expected! I knew the set was going to be heavy and when I saw the case had four (thats 4) latches to secure it I was very pleased! Overall its a must for any mechanic who appreciates well thought out quality products! buy again?, Definitely!.

Really great set of tools. They feel great in my hand. They are super strong. And just about every tool I’ll ever need to work with nuts and bolts anywhere. Watch out though – this stinker is HEAVY – 42 pounds.

You’d never put this anywhere inside a car. If you’re moving around your project, you really can’t pull this box around with you. The case is huge when it is open. There is a minor annoyance, one socket always falls out when opening the box.

Some sockets are a little harder to remove than others. I ended up buying a Dewalt 34 piece 1/4 and 3/8 drive metric and standard socket set to carry around for projects. This 204 piece thing is just too massive and heavy to use on remote jobs.

I’ve only had this set for 2 weeks, but I’ve been wanting to pick it up for a few months. I love Gearwrench features and quality. It’s a great set. I’m a handyman and I carry a LOT of tools. This is a great set for me because it doesn’t have “filler” that others do.

I have a separate ½” set and I don’t need to carry those with me for work because I don’t work on cars. I like that it only has 30 driver bits. Some sets put 50 or more in there to make their numbers bigger.

The only thing I don’t like is the lightweight orange latches; they seem really flimsy (thin plastic) and they feel like they’re going to break easily.

Great quality set! Great price for 200 pieces. The set is well thought out to provide 90% of tools you need in an emergency. I would also carry a knife, slip joint pliers, and needle nose pliers. The box secures the pieces well.

Just make sure you open it correctly or the sockets will spill. We have this as backup in our car. I truly enjoy using this set. The organization of the set and the feel of the tools is all quality. They have a lifetime no hassle warrantee.

I tried the 3/8″ drive to take off my wheels. My craftsman 72 tooth drive stripped (disappointing). Craftsman tend to add a bunch of less useful driver bits to raise the piece number. These provide what you will likely need instead.

All sockets are 6 point which secures to the bolt better. The wrench is 70 something teeth so you can adjust it instead of the sockets. These tools are better quality than current Craftsman. 95$ for this set is hard to beat.

The included tools are quality, but the selection is lacking. It’s hard to figure out the thinking behind the included sockets. There seem to be an abundance of 1/4inch, metric deep sockets. Others are incomplete or not included.

The case is sturdy, but holds the tools so well, they have to be pryed out. Not enough to make me hate the set, but irritating.

I wanted a good quality tool set to carry in my work van. Enough of what you are likely to need when out on the road, but not everything you could possibly need, which would be too onerous to carry around.

This set met the mark. It is good quality, and feels well in your hands. It is pretty complete with common sockets and wrenches, as well as driver bits.

loved the set until I tried to use it. No deep well 9/16 or metric equivalent 14mm. Also missing 15mm Deep well, and 1/2″ end wrench. Unbelievable, these are some of the most common needed sized in the world.

Dewalt seriously dropped the ball on this one. I have over $2K worth of Dewalt tools that I love, and use daily, but I will definitely be more careful buying Dewalt tools in the future.

In my opinion, Dewalt has put together some nice sets. Well thought out, and with almost no repetition of sizes like so many “sets” have. I almost pulled the trigger on this set, but it is completely missing any socket in the 9/16″ size.

I purchased this set as a Birthday gift for my Daughter and she loves it. De Walt makes great tools. My son uses this make of tools he has his own construction company. Their grandfather was an auto mechanic.

The Nanch Screwdriver set is a pleasure to use. It feels solid and well made. I have been a Field Service Computer, Network, Printer technician for over 25 years and this is the best set I’ve ever used.

The heads fit the wide variety of screws perfectly and the tips have held up well. I’ve purchased screwdriver sets from various big box hardware stores that wore out with in days, that hasn’t happened with these.

I highly recommend them.

This is a well-built precision tool. It works smoothly and everything has a nice, solid feel to it, –but it’s still light-weight. When you have the screwdriver extended, it is easy to accidentally push the collar forward to retract the screwdriver, but that’s a minor concern.

This is the first time I feel an all-in-one could replace my drawer full of mismatched precision screwdrivers.

It’s fine for occasion use. I wouldn’t use it in a production situation, but I’m happy with it. By the way, I find the faded print in some areas (Review title being one) very annoying and hard to read.

I haven’t actually used thie repair kit, yet, so I don’t have an opinion as yet. I intend using it for servicing model railway locomotives, plus a host of other electronic gadgetry used by railway modelers.

Great so far. The Handle feels cheap. The extension is built in and locks at intervals around 1 inch. The bit are easily removed from the holders. Most of the tools I was looking for were all in one kit.

It has been used daily and has been very handy for Cell and tablet repair.

Arrived and all in good order. One of the items doesn’t fit in the kit, which is a little silly. It should have it’s own pocket.

Bought this as a gift for my son and he is very happy with it, I got it on sale and it was a great bargain for being Craftsman.

I bought this tool set from amazon for an unrule price ,I’ve so fair fixed a vtec solenoid on my 99 Honda Accord I’ve fixed other things that needed my attention,this is buy I don’t see how you can go wrong.

I’ve had these for a few weeks now, and they have far exceeded my expectations. The long handle gives additional leverage that comes in handy when removing over tightened bolts. The ratchet and sockets are well made, don’t slip from nuts and bolts, and feel like they will hold up a long time.

The black finish, while not material in the functionality of the tools, looks great and is just as durable as the tools.

I had several repair projects this weekend and really got a chance to test this set out. Easy to read, with a great feeling grip to the sockets. And the ratchet hand was comfortable and fit my hand like it was made for it.

Did not slip or jam on a nut or bolt once the entire weekend. I’ve already ordered a couple sets as Christmas gifts for my son and nephew in law.

The point of buying a set like this is a tool for every spot and a spot for every tool. Unfortunately, these tools do not stay in their spots very well. When you open the kit up typically you have sockets and other things that have fallen out of their proper location in you just have this big mess of tools you have to sort through.

Pleasant surprise. Was up late one night looking at pics of nekid women and an add from Wally about this tool set popped up. Went to Wally’s site and checked it out and thought what the heck for $98 pesos I was a thief in the night or a trumpkin depending on the quality of the tools.

Clicked buy now and after I went back and was looking at more pics I got to thinking that I was gonna prob have tears in my beer. I thought a little more and decided that If they weren’t no good I could make trot line sinkers out of them.

Three days after I ordered them, they arrived here at BFE America and this was over the Labor Day weekend. Went to the ranch gate and picked them up and on the way back to the Casa I was a wondering if I was gonna be barking like a dog or fall down with a conniption fit when I opened the box.

Dropped the tailgate on the truck and opened the box with my goat sticker and slowly pulled the set out of the box with one eye open and one closed. Got the set out and immediately flipped the lid open to get the punishment over with.

By gawd!! This is a freakin good set of sockets! I was expecting maybe pot metal sockets for the price I paid for tools. I was wrong! These are high polished and have the looks of something that you would buy off a tool truck.

I know these are made in the land of almost right, but what ain’t now days? They got this brand of tool right! I was wondering if I was gonna be shamed to be seen working on something with these tools.

Nope, not at all. In looks they are right up there with the mega dollar tools. Can you strip the ratchets out and bust a socket power dogging on them? Maybe, probably but you can do that on a snap on also.

Now for the good——High polished well marked sockets. Case that holds everything together in its place for the most part and is easy to pack around, bottom drawer has space to through in a set of end wrenches for when you need one.

Some have cried that the case aint no good, I have not seen that fault. Maybe they are Kens and Karens? Now the bad—–I don’t see any really. I’m not a fan of pear head ratchets because I tend to knock them out of gear working in a tight spot.

But–that is just my preference. Would be nice if 1 1/8 and 1/1/4 sockets were in the set. I drive junker trucks and I bought this set to put in one so if I’m a thousand mile from home and I have a break down I’m not at the mercy of those who take advantage.

With this set of tools and a few more I would not be afraid to put a clutch in on the side of the road.

This year I took advantage of Walmart’s awesome sale prices on a variety of HART tools and accessories including this 215 piece Mechanics tool set, to give to my husband for Christmas. PROS: At $98, you really can’t beat the price for this kind of quality and given the amount, and variety of tools that you get, this set is well worth every penny.

The tools themselves seem to be very solid and well made. The entire tool kit came shipped with all of the tools, sockets etc already in place. The case itself appears to be of a very solid, heavy duty construction.

CONS: This tool box has two side latches, one on either side of the drawers. When the drawers are in the closed position, you pushed each of these latches so that they snap tightly into place. This prevents the drawers from opening up by themselves when you are carrying the tool box around.

Normally I would NOT consider this to be a con, however, these two latches are extremely difficult to pull back open. You have to pry each of them them open with your fingertips and because they do snap tightly in place, when you try to force them back open you end up hitting your knuckles right off the side of the case.

It’s quite painful. I bruised my knuckle TWICE trying to open each latch. Hopefully, after some use, these latches will loosen up a little. of course not so much that they won’t continue to snap in place but just enough so that me, or my husband, aren’t yelling out all sorts of obscenities trying to get into the drawers.

Great buy. A set that has most of the pieces I need. Even hex wrenches /driver & bits have shown their value for my little backed up projects!! Will get my money’s worth, for sure! Only thing is: I wish a few common sized wrenches were included in set.

The Dremel 3000 is an excellent Rotary Tool. This does the detail jobs that other machines can’t get to. There is many cool parts to purchase to make a good collection for your small jobs around the home.

My father introduced the Dremel to me at one time. So, I always wanted one as a kit. Very glad that I got this. , Now I find more jobs than before around the house than before. The manuals are very easy to read and comprehend the instructions.

Dremel describes the 3000 model as an ‘upgrade of our most popular rotary tool’. I assume they are referring to the Dremel 4000, which we reviewed a couple of years ago. In appearance, the Dremel 3000 still looks very similar to the Dremel 4000.

Both feature the torpedo-style design with a trumpet-shaped nose that provides easy one-handed gripping. One of the nice features of the Dremel rotary tools is how easy they are to handle. The pencil grip is best when you need precise control for drilling, sanding, grinding or cutting tasks, while the golf grip is more suited for less precise, general purpose work.

The Dremel 3000, at 7″ long, is just a bit shorter than the Dremel 4000, yet it weights about 2 ounces more. As well, it comes with a 1. 2 Amp motor rather than the heftier 1. 6 Amp motor on the 4000 – a fairly large decrease of 25% in motor current.

This new motor also delivers slightly less speed – 5,000 to 32,000 RPM versus 5,000 – 35,000 RPM. As with the 4000 model, the motor is equipped with electronic feedback, which provides more consistent power under load.

In use I didn’t notice any appreciable difference in power – the Dremel 3000 made just as quick work cutting, drilling and sanding as the 4000 model. On the Dremel 3000 the power switch has been integrated into the speed switch, with the lever moved to the tail end of the tool.

While the 4000 model had twenty settings on the speed dial, the Dremel 3000 has only ten settings. Each setting increases the speed by roughly 3,000 RPMs. DIYers will probably find it more convenient to have fewer settings to select from.

Also on the tail end you’ll find the hanging hook, which is convenient for suspending the tool if you use the optional flex shaft attachment. (I haven’t seen it for sale at my Canadian Tire. ) The best enhancement to the Dremel 3000 is the EZ Twist nose cap.

With the Dremel 4000 a wrench is used to unlock the collet. The problem has long been that you can’t store the wrench on the tool. It’s somewhat a waste of time to track down the wrench every time you need to change accessories.

And because the wrench is quite small, it’s easy to misplace or loose. The EZ Twist nose cap has the wrench integrated into the cap. You simply unscrew the cap, and then use it to tighten the collet nut.

This is a great feature that all users will surely appreciate. The 3000 ships with a 1/8″ collet, though you can purchase three other collet sizes (1/32″, 1/16″ and 3/32″. ) Maintenance is fairly minimal – approximately every 50 hours of use check the brushes, and replace them when they begin to wear down, or as soon as the tool fails to start, runs intermittently or slower than usual, or if you see more sparking than iusual.

Sold as a pair, brushes cost about $5. Even though the Dremel 3000 has a lower amp rating, is slightly heavier, and has a 4-year rather than a 5-year warranty, I like it more than the 4000 model – primarily because of the EZ Twist cap, which makes accessory changes a snap.

I needed this tool for tightening the Kondor Blue Pro Monitor Mount with Built-In Mini Quick Release Plate that holds my monitor to my Canon 5RC. I lost the original Kondor Blue Allen Wrench 3 design for that purpose.

The description states that this product comes with a 3mm tool. It is not perfectly 3mm. It’s a little thicker hence it doesn’t fit. Very disappointed.

Outstanding little multi-tool! Well made, and finished. Comes with both a drawstring pouch, and a nice structural foam zippered case. SmallRig has pretty much thought of everything for this nice compact Multi-tool!! A little on the expensive side.

But; well worth it!.

I have come to recognize SmallRig as a designer and maker of very high-quality items; this tool is no exception. I now have in one place the common but until-now loose tools I need on a regular basis.

I completely had a moment with the name versastack and didn’t hit me until I got it. It’s a perfect stack on the rest of my tool boxes. Secured and can be easily rolled to the area needed with no rattling and falling off.

I’m currently driving to California to move there and did a quick tune up on all the cars and moving truck we drove just in case. Just need to cut down my video. I’m a professional mechanic as my trade but has been my hobby since I was a teen.

So these tools get used and beat up daily and still hold up perfect. The compact design and easy to get what’s needed would be perfect for on the go. Can keep in car just in case of an emergency. Will probably get one to keep in my truck at all times in case I need them for work and keep one at home.

A lot of fillers but decent supply of sockets. Ratchets are the quick release which are better then the non quick release ratchets in many Dewalt sets! Sockets easily identified and have knurling on them for gripping which is nice feature.

The set has 1/4” drive sockets but bon1/4” drive ratchet which is super strange but a 3/8”-1/4” adaptor is included. No mechanics wrenches are included in this set. Summary, nice set but I would have rather had the 1/4” drive instead of the assorted bit ends.

Really impressed with this tool set. They are easy to use and the sockets all have a friction ring which makes them easy to spend and grab. The sizes are clearly etched into the sides of the sockets and the sockets and tools are designed to to stay inside the case.

The set is made in Taiwan, however I do not mind that because they are strategic partners with the United States.

I believe that the quality surpasses the competition. The sockets are a exact fit, no sloppy movement which causes bolts to be rounded off. Also I put the ratchet to the test a week ago after I stripped my dad’s expensive ratchet trying to break a bolt free.

Bolt is off thanks to my new socket set.

Has just about everything you would need for automotive repairs. Life time warranty. Take to home depot, no receipt, no questions asked and get a new replacement. Ratchets are solid! Unlike craftsman you actually get useful tools not a bunch of screwdriver bits.

Case is rugged but wish the drawers would lock. Weighs about 40lbs, when I carry it the drawers slide out a bit. But I got it for the tools not the case. Nice chrome finish with easy to read sizes on the tools.

If you need a good set to put in your vehicle or starting out with your own car repairs I don’t think you can go wrong with this set.

I’m almost well organized now, even for someone in their mid sixties. I can move it around quite easily, the size stamped on the sockets is very easily read, and time well tell with the quality, but the tools appear to be crafted very well.

They are easier to spill over because the sockets do not snap in the storage case, like my other socket set, but on the other hand sometimes I have pry the sockets out with something and this Husky sockets are easily remove without any finger tips aching trying to remove them.

You will be happy, save some valuable time, and have a toy that makes life a little pleasurable.

I have owned hundreds of sets of tools i do machanics on most of my junkers but the toolsets are renowned. I have had this one 268 piece set 5 years i would say the best things about this one is organization easy to keep up with because of its case man you will love this one.

Great tool set for the money, Well worth it. Somebody gave me a gift card, I thought what could I possibly want at Target? I saw this set online, they had it on 14th Street, all the Tools are drop forged.

Star bits ,metric, even has a little circuit Tester,electrical tape, a couple of Deep well Sockets, Sturdy Bi fold case , Not a Bad addition to your bigger tools.

They came on time. I ordered them just for some things in my garage like my new large snow thrower. An addition to my others, but the wife did not mind the price was good lol. ANd it has both U. S. standard spark plug ratchet.

They seem to be made well, my brother is a mechanoc and he used them. He said they are not like his but they do the job and he could not break them. He is good at that! So over all a good product.

I have not had a chance to use this item yet. I bought it for my car, just in case I would break down along the road. ( Just in case I have some nice man willing to stop and help me ). It looks strong and has everything someone would need to work on my vehicle.
