Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave.

It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave.

It’s also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I’d like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you’re in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won’t be disappointed I promise.

I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here’s my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision.

First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I’ve had it now for about 6 months and it’s still performing as it did the first day.

It’s very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform.

If you don’t clean the hair out after each shave it will run at a slower pace. Overall this thing is a beast and will make grooming your bald head SO much EASIER!.

I had been looking at several shavers for Christmas, but my hesitancy was I wanted one in my hand to gage quality. I came across Freedom Grooming and saw similar products, the difference was the 5 head, on top of having a mini clipper attachment, as well as nose and ear hair trimmers.

I had been considering getting this shaver for months, but put it off because I just didn’t think it would be that great. I always shaved my head and face with disposable razors and my skin was always irritated.

I finally broke down and ordered this shaver for my head, but figured I’d still shave my face with a razor. When I received it in the mail I charged it up and couldn’t wait to use it. I decided to use a high quality shave cream that I have, which is almost like thick toothpaste.

It makes a thin layer of cream over my skin and I thought this would give me the most comfortable shave. I was blown away! This thing shaved my head with the most comfort I ever expected from it. I actually thought it was going to tear me up, but it just glided across my dome! I was so impressed that I lathered up my face and shaved that too! It was so much more comfortable than using a disposable razor and there was no irritation.

I had shaved my head and face in just minutes and the shave was much closer than I was anticipating. I am throwing away my disposable razors and only using this shaver from now on! I’ve only used it once, so I don’t know the long term quality of it but it seems like a good quality shaver and hopefully customer service will be decent if anything goes wrong.

Don’t wait to buy one of these like I did, get it now and save yourself the aggravation of shaving with a blade! I also got the travel case, so this baby is coming with me whenever I leave the house! 5 stars!.

Overall the product does shave and gives the look of a clean shave. It does not shave as close as a razor nor as close as my other electric razors. The question you might ask then is why use this razor.

The short answer is it is more comfortable than my Braun and less hassle then my straight razor or disposable blades. Pros – 1. The customer service is great and responsive. 2. The shaver is easy to use and does shave.

3. It is able to be used wet or dry. Cons – 1. The shaver and blades are cheaply made in China. 2. Out of the three sets so far one has not worked correctly. 4 of the 5 blades did not turn. Pro here is that they respond quickly and will send a replacement.

Con is if you do not already have a replacement on hand you are stuck waiting. 3. The shaver does not shave real close so if you go to dry your head after shaving you will notice that it gets stuck on your head in a lot of places.

Same when you other half goes to grab hold of your head ;-). 4. It is expensive and an ongoing expense to use this product. I have the subscription service so everything is protected for life but that just means you will get replacements for free.

In the end I do use the product and will continue using it because of the convenience and safety. All shaving instruments need to be replaced over time and cleaned regularly for health reasons. This just makes it easier to keep replacing blades and any problems I know I am covered with the company and support staff.

I am not an employee nor am I some young buck here. Retired and on a fixed income so money is important to me as well.

This thing looks good, feels good, and does a pretty awesome job on my skull. I use it wet with a shaving creme for daily shaving. As long as I settle in and take my time, it doesn’t leave anything behind.

It cleans easily under water, though it takes more than the stated, single, 5-second dip to get clear; usually 3-4 times in the tank. It loses charge at 5 percentage points per day. After using it daily for over a week, it is sitting at 60%.

It came fully charged and I haven’t plugged it in since I got it. I used it one time on my neck under my beard, and that was a mistake. Most of the red marks from that are starting to clear up. For the price and the appearance, I was expecting a stainless steel body and head stem, but it is all plastic.

That helps make it lightweight, but I find my hand wanting more substance. It is quiet enough so you don’t have to worry about waking the other monks when you are shaving. Overall, I would recommend the style.

I haven’t used the less-expensive models, but I wonder whether the features of the Platinum PRO are worth the price difference. Like the other models, this comes with one of the shaving heads, with no chance to try the others out, but when it is time I will replace the stock head as it seems well-suited to my nut.

Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day- there was a bundle with the beast clipper and the baby beast trimmer. He used the beast clipper first for his hair (no attachment) and beard (6mm attachment).

Then followed with the platinum shaver for a closer shave on the head (the shaver is perfect for weekly maintenance). The design and presentation on these items is just fantastic, not only they look SUPER COOL (they look fancier IRL) but the performance on both is amazing.

No irritation on the head (Note- this was his first ‘close shave’) and he was very happy with the ease of use, and how fast he was able to go over all areas (in matter of minutes, which was not the case before).

They also come fully charged- you can take them out of the box and use right away. The only item we haven’t tried is the baby beast trimmer that came in the bundle, but we might save it and gift it to someone (either one of these would make a great gift for a loved one, or for yourself!).

Absolutely worth the money!!! I ordered additionally another blue travel case for the clipper (the platinum shaver already comes with one!). If you’re on the fence- go for it, you absolutely will not be disappointed!.

I’m glad to share my experience with the Balder Pro Shaver. If you are even considering getting a rotary shaver for your head, get this one. I’ve already verbally recommended it to three friends. Pros: – Easy to handle – I have a medium sized hand, it’s easy to hold onto (I did read that someone dropped theirs and it broke, so i do try to keep a hold of it.

– Works in the shower – I have a mirror in the shower, I lather up my head and then run the shaver over it. Easy. I clean it with the shower head. – Very close shave – I’ve never used a straight razor, but this is pretty dang close.

I had some razor burn on my the back of my neck (is that the nape?) but now i use an after shave lotion after i get out of the shower. – Battery life is great! – last time i charged it was over two weeks ago.

I use it every two days for less than 5 minutes in the shower. There is a red light that comes on when it needs to be recharged. – Comes with a carrying bag – I love having a bag for my stuff. everything is easy to be packed into the small zippered bag, it should be easy to carry in my backpack or luggage.

It also comes with an oil dropper and brush to clean the inside of the head and upper portion of the razor. Cons: -Plastic components – As mentioned above, i read a review that said they dropped their items and it broke.

It seems sturdy enough to me, but the prongs that come out of the head and slip into the body are plastic and I’m constantly afraid of those breaking whenever i take the head off or on. which i do a lot.

You take the head off to oil it, to clean it, etc. Maybe i should just get an extra head for backup -Not sure how long the head will last – I’ve read that it should last a year. This isn’t really a con, but we’ll see how it goes.

I’ve had the product for a couple months now and use it consistently. I wouldn’t do that, or write this, if i didn’t enjoy the product. Happy Shaving!.

Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase. I never get the fast, close shaves other people talk about, not with any shaver, but with a little more time this unit does a decent job. I am consistently left with a bit of stubble I can barely feel on the back of my head but there’s nothing visible.

It’s a lot more comfortable than trying to shave my head with a regular shaver, and gets better results. It says not to but out of curiosity I tried it on my face and it worked fine, it doesn’t shave super close but it’s comfortable and leaves you perfectly presentable.

I docked one star because it takes about two or three times longer than it claims.

This shaver does NOT deliver on its promises. First, it takes four hours to fully charge. From this, you’re supposed to get 55 minutes of shaving time. In reality, you get about 10-15. (Someone else’s here mentioned they get six 3-minute shaving sessions, so that’s 18 minutes.

still nowhere near what’s advertised. ). Second, the shaving heads don’t give you a close shave, there’s always stubble. And you’ll be running that shaver repeatedly over the same areas just to get that stubble.

In summary: does not perform as advertised. I was hoping for something better by Remington. It’s too bad because it’s a nice-looking shaver.

The gold foil is better. My original is silver color and ended up with a hole from being dropped. Andis should sell just the foil replacement rather than the whole device. Anyway this gold foil one has a smoother slide across the skin and will help to prevent razor bumps/ingrown hairs.

Be sure to keep it oiled properly.

Theses were bought with low expectations but still managed to disappoint! They simply do not cut ! A waste of money and time. I hate the people who sold me this. This product is a complete pseudo! Shame on you !.

I bought this to try out, whilst I waited for a new Wahl attachment. It does give a clean shave but not as close as Wahl shaver. Also it’s difficult to get a clean straight edge due to the design. It’s Smooth to use and overall it’s ok.

Bought this as a gift for my fianc. He absolutely love it! He was able to shave his head without any cuts. I will say that the first couple of times he missed some spots. Evause he was having so much fun playing with it.

Leaves his head smooth and the shaving lotion is just as awesome. I will be adding replacement razors and more shave lotion to his Christmas list!.

Great product. Just decided to shave head after reaching the point of Caesar look. Tried with regular razor wasn’t good so ordered Headblade products was great and easy to use even my first time. If your thinking about shaving head get their product have no worries you can do it.

I bought the Pitbull Shaver Silver and was very good to use as it didnt give the same rash and sensitive skin after using a razor. Wet and dry was a very good unit, However only after 2nd year prob 24months to be exact battery died, and the warranty only covers 12M, so i cant do anything about it now! For $180 i would expect the battery to last longer.

My partner loves this. Easy to use, convenient and shaves really well. Shaves better with shaving oil. Obviously due to the size he isn’t able to get under the nose/ behind ears area. He loves being able to shave his face and head whilst watching TV.

Use time per charge is sufficient if hair isn’t too long. Highly recommend!.

On receipt, I charged it and after some weeks use every few days, I still haven’t had to charge it yet. Gives a nice close shave and is just SO easy to use. A big plus is that it collects the hair inside so no mess anywhere.

Of course whilst using, it is necessary to keep it clean with the provided brush. Keep in mind it is necessary to use on short hair.

Bought as a replacement shaver for my original DA 307. Now that I have an extra shaver I can try my hand at replacing the batteries in my original shaver. In my 50+ years of shaving I have never found a shaver that shaves as close or well as my DA307! For the price I believe it would compare to any new shaver costing much more.

I like the fact that there is some heft to this razor unlike to mainly plastic units sold today. Is this the shaver for everyone? I doubt it but it is the best for me. For those who use a foil shaver I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the DA307’s performance.

I’ve waited until 8 months of ownership to write this review and can honestly say I’m really happy with the skull shaver and would definitely recommend it to those considering buying one. One of my main motivators for buying was finding wet shaving my head every 4-5 days a bit of a faff, time consuming & messy.

Whilst wet shaving always guaranteed an absolutely smooth swede it also left me with a very shiny and ‘oily’ head for the first couple of days and despite my best efforts I’d sometimes end up with nicks and cuts.

With the skull shaver I shave every 3 days and whilst it doesn’t shave as close as a razor it’s honestly the next best thing and a lot quicker. Each shave takes around 4-5 minutes and requires very little clean up with all the hair being caught in the unit itself.

Personally I don’t use any products or shave gel, instead just a splash of water when going over an area for a second pass to prevent any uncomfortable rubbing. I’ve found the best method is to effectively split my head into 3 ‘areas’ – Top/Left-Hand Side & Back/Right-Hand Side & Back.

I’ll go over each ‘area’ with the shaver then submerge the foils in water for a few seconds whilst its running which expels the trapped hair before going over the same ‘area’ again for a final pass. The unit is well designed, isn’t very heavy and is easy to hold in a number of different ways as described in the instructions.

Each shave uses around 6-7% of the battery so it doesn’t need charging too often. The only negative is that when the battery display shows below 15% it seems to lose its accuracy. I’ve had it jump quickly from 15 to 0% stopping mid shave.

My advice would be to charge the unit up when it reaches 20% to avoid any issues. I’ve let my hair to grow out for 6 days and used the skull shaver and had no problems getting a smooth shave, it just took a few minutes longer but still quicker than a wet shave.

Personally I’ve had no irritation as a result of using the skull shaver and normally just follow it up with a face/head moisturiser (Boots No7 men’s is my recommendation). Cleaning the unit is easy, simply remove the foil cover and rinse under the tap.

You can also leave the silver head submerged and turned on in water for a minute to clear out any small bits of hair. I’d recommend buying the cleaning stand (only a tenner) to do this as it also doubles up as a stand for the unit to sit upright and dry naturally.

After 8 months of use I’ve just purchased a new set of foils from this site however the originals are still going strong so I can see myself keeping the new ones as a spare for a few months at least.

So I hate writing reviews. but I love reading them before I purchase so I figure I would finally give back. I was incredibly reluctant cop to the price tag of any of the pitbull skull shaver products cause it was more expensive than I wanted to pay, yet I thought the concept of the technology was cool and inspired.

So I went on amazon and found cheaper knock offs. I have ridden that ride at least two times and each time the knock offs never cut my hair to the scalp and left my head with razor bumps. For context I’m black, with coarse Curley( nappy) hair, and a sensitive scalp.

I’m not balding, I just enjoy the look and it’s easier/cheaper to maintain since I have to adhere to military grooming standards on a weekly basis. I have tried razors with shaving cream before, including straight razors with shaving butter and more common Gillet type razors.

My scalp bumps up everytime. So I finally decide to try the expensive stuff, with the comfort of knowing there is at least a return policy. This Pitbull shaver is some good piece of gear! Smooth cut, know Knicks, works quick, cuts down to the scalp, and charge straight out box that lasted the entire cut! The only downside is that it only reduced about 98% of razor bumps(still dope).

Two days after the cut I have noticed the back lower part of my head has developed slight bumping, but less than when I use clippers so I ‘m not pressed about it. Bottom Line If you have a sensitive scalp but want to cut your own bald head, then this product will work for you.

There are a lot of reviews cleaning the shaver gives you speedy smooth skin after one pass of shaving. For me, this experience was far from the truth. I almost say false advertising, and ask myself were these people paid to claim outlandish statements.

I followed all the instructions in the box after receiving my shaver. My first shave left sandpaper stubble on my head and face. Mind you, this was a dry shave. I decided to give it a couple days and allow my hair to grow out some and would wet shave.

Same result! To say that I was disappointed is a stretch. I was hoping to do away with shaving with razors and the occasional nick that I give myself when I am not careful. Maybe I just have the odd, exceptionally coarse hair that this shaver just cannot compete with.

Or maybe this just doesn’t work as advertised. The shaver itself felt somewhat cheap, though I have no doubt that it is far more durable than I allowed myself time to give. I had an extremely hard time getting the blades to open to clean them out, and I felt that I was going to break something with each attempt at it.

After trying this, I can say that my overall impression is negative. While this may be for some other people, it is absolutely not for me and I would trust that other people make their own determination and try this shaver for themselves.

For me, it’s back to the drawing board in the hopes that I actually find a shaver that works as advertised.

I found this product while searching for a body shaver online. As a bodybuilder it’s important to have minimal to no imperfections while walking on stage. The shaver is advertised as offering a “no bumps, no cuts” shaving experience for your entire body, it did not live up to its expectations on this.

I had worse razor burn than what I’ve ever had using a traditional cartridge razor. My primary reason for looking for a shaving solution such as this is time. Shaving your entire body takes a long time and I thought this would be a good option for quickly tackling the job as it advertises “saves time”.

To be completely honest this took way longer and did not get nearly as close of a shave. I had to make multiple passes in the same areas as it missed hairs every sweep. I’m not completely knocking the product, and I’m sure it would work well as a head shaver but I do believe that advertising this as a full body, “knick-less and quick” shaving product is mostly a gimmick.

Good attempt, I would possibly be interested if there was a 2. 0 or revision made to make this more body hair friendly but as for now it’s not for me. P. S. you have to pay for shipping yourself if the product doesn’t suit you within the 30 day risk-free period.

Giving this 2 stars because it does work, just not well, the product may suit some people just fine but it’s the false advertising that takes the stars away for me.

I was always concerned about using a manual razor on my head because I have so many moles and bumps (my kids call them barnacles), so I never really “shaved” my head. After seeing an advertisement and doing some research, I decided to purchase the Freedom Shaver and have used it for about a year.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the product or the price. I use it on my head and face regularly. Though the instructions suggest I throw away all my manual razors and only use the Freedom razor to minimize razor burn and bumps, I still find myself using a manual razor on occasion on my neck.

Sometimes it is the only way to get those stubborn hairs without injuring my neck – so far. I have enjoyed the Freedom razor so much that I purchased another one as a Christmas gift for my wife (she was stealing mine for her legs).

I also purchased a charging base. The base works a lot better and is a lot easier than plugging in a chord into the shaver, but I was hoping for something a little more robust in a base. Thanks Freedom Grooming, for the well-made razor, and for your support of military and first-responders.

Great for us bald guys BUT I can’t stress enough that the main shaving head is literally nearly impossible to remove. Perhaps side tabs for gripping would help some, but not that much. Anyone with even a little arthritis in their hands will find it difficult, if not down right injurious, to pull that part off for cleaning.

I know, cause I’m that guy!!!! It does a great job, but also pay attention to the caveat that your hair must already be short enough for the foils to catch and cut it. Otherwise, you’ll want to send it back when in fact it does a great job.

Use mine every day, but will need to figure out something to get the head off to clean it. I can’t believe it got through QC without this issue arising. My grip is actually pretty good for 69 years old.

It’s easy to use and clean while delivering a smooth close shave. Problably the closest I can get without using a straight razor. Well designed with an easy functional grip. It’s worth every penny in my book!.

I use to shave my head with a razor every week, but since I purchased this product I don’t have the need to do so as much. It’s easy to use and does the job of keeping my head shinny and hair free. I strongly recommend this product.

Good value at a good price!.

I’ve been shaving my head for over 20 years and always fought burn, ingrown hairs and every other issue. but not since switching to this blade. Take this advise. Don’t use shaving cream. Use a hot towel first and then use moisturizing lotion.

First shave with the grain. Re-apply lotion and shave again against the grain. It will be baby-butt smooth and with this blade never one cut or burn. It’s worked 100% of the time perfect. I’m still on my first blade a year later but bought a spare just in case.

Seriously. cannot stress this enough. I have spent thousands on expensive electric shavers that don’t do 1/10th as good as this blade and lead to more burns and discomfort. This is the way to go.

Headblade does pretty much what I wanted for my lil bald head. I did get some cuts first time I used it, but I would blame my lack of familiarity with the blade, and not the blade itself. Swift and ergonomic, the blade performs well with one exception: if you drop it on the floor say, the blade comes lose from the shaver, which is a pain.

The blade is quite difficult to insert into the shaver. You have to fit the blade to the retainer post and then pressure it in. While others may not find this problematic, for an older guy it’s really difficult.

Perhaps experience will simply solve this issue. Other than that, I am pleased with it.

I have literally put blood, sweat, and I’m not ashamed to admit, a few tears into shaving. I had given up on razors and started using balding clippers a couple years ago. If you can imagine an ice rink before the Zamboni smooths it out, then you can imagine the top of my head! The hair has always grown in different directions up there along with grooves and dips! 3 weeks ago I had finally come close to perfecting cutting my hair without a 1/2 guard on my clippers.

It usually took me about 15-20 minutes to cut my hair. Once my shaver came in I trimmed my hair down with my clippers, hopped in the shower, applied the Herbal Shaving Cream(which I highly recommend), and began the fastest, most effective shaving experience of my life! I followed the instructions, and the shaver performed perfection.

The first shave took 5 minutes due to me being a little cautious about my pressure. The second took no more than 3. The Zamboni of Shaving tools in my opinion! I highly recommend both the shaver and Herbal Shaving Cream.

So I’m actually in the Army and brought the Palm Shaver with me on a 3 week field exercise. Straight up outside, no regular showers or laundry for that whole time. Shaving with a razor is annoying when you’re sweating balls every day and aren’t really able to clean or wash your face.

I learned from a couple of senior enlisted that the easiest way to keep your face looking fresh in the field is to have a great electric razor. The Palm shaver exceeded expectations. I only had to charge it once the whole time.

It took only a few minutes with a tiny mirror and no water or shaving cream to clean up my face every morning. It has a low whirring sound that is easily drowned out by generators if you need to be discreet or get ready in the dark when people next to you are still sleeping.

It gets basically as close as a razor, my face feels very smooth afterwards, no stubble whatsoever until later in the evening. It’s super easy to use and clean. A couple of the guys are jealous and asked me about it.

I recommend it to everyone that asks. I also purchased the stand which helps protect it when It’s jostling around in a hygiene kit. I would recommend washing it quickly with some dish soap to help keep the blades clean and fresh, but it worked well through the exercise with no deep cleaning.

Overall I love it and am so glad I have it.

The unit says it can only cut up to 1/14th an inch of hair, but it struggles to do even this. It has neither the blade depth or engine strength to do anything. All I got was a patchwork job of erratically trimmed hairs after going over it repeatedly, like it only decides to sometimes cut.

This was for both the scalp and neck line. It doesn’t even clean effectively as it should in the paper handout. Took me almost ten minutes of effort by hand with a toothpick once the manual didn’t work.

I would have returned this but I didn’t open the package for a few weeks after getting it (30 day return window) and now I don’t even have the box. Now I’m stuck with an underpowered shaver that can barely even handle peach fuzz.

I had a similar one and stepped up to this because it has more shave heads. Glad I did. Big improvement! Surprised at how flexible and contouring the shave heads were. Was able to get a nice close shave.

Powerful, clean cut, easy to clean out. A must for baldies. Nose attachment works good for ear and nose. Haven’t used the others but I expect the same from them.

This only works if you have very short stubble on your head. Even with a super short stubble, you still have to continuously go over your head to get everything cut. My husband tried it and I ended up having to finish his head to make sure everything was cut.

It still left small patches that I had to get with his actual razor.

When I paid $24 for this I was skeptical on if this shaver would work or not so my hopes werent high. It comes with all types of attachments for grooming but I had purchased it only to shave my head.

My only gripe is that the blades catch your hair and fill up really quick so if youre trying to shave your head with just a tad bit of fuzz on it then the blades will fill up with hair and wont work.

Its actually a pain to open them and get the hair out as well. So if you are shaving your head every 2 days then it shouldnt be a problem but this shaver is not meant to deal with any amount of thick or coarse hair.

It works but it isn’t a close shave like a razor. I still feel the stubble. So I find myself using my razor still afterwards. It takes off a nice amount, but will leave the stubble. Wish it left my head smooth like my razor.

Having used a varied selection of trimmers and shavers over the years this is quite good. I previously used a different branded head shaver which is also very good but it took a fair amount of time to shave bald.

This shaver looks more like a Skullshaver as it has the large head with five blades. The main differences are reliability. As you would expect from Remington it is not a cheap plastic unit and the rotary heads don’t fall off when cleaning under the tap.

And it doesn’t stop working after a month. The only drawback is the battery life. It is about 25-30m but expected longer charging doesn’t take long and you get a good 5m whilst on the red. Works best if you use every day but fine for every two days.

It’s very simple to use and I like the large handle grip too so you feel more in control when shaving. All in all its a great product and definitely getting use out of it.

A great product best I’ve ever had. Bit more expensive but well worth the price. Before I normally chip my head then shave it with my old clippers with this new Remington series no need I used and took every bit of hair off very sharp no need to shave my head again.

Plus I had a little stubble so thought I’ll try so did my face as well very like my Remington face shaver works a treat 2 in 1 product for me. Only thing it’s a euro plug so need to get adapter but only use for charging.

The hair collects in the shaver head so no more running down your neck onto the floor. Simply unclip the head and empty. Has side clipper for sideburns built in comes with brush to clean head and bag to store.

£62 pound but definitely worth it you get 2 years warranty and a extra 1 year if you registered online 3 years hair free. 9/10 only because none UK plug. Hope it helps thanks.

Good afternoon, I have purchased this shaver about a month ago and really really enjoy the product. I had somewhat of a scare this morning however! I got about halfway through my shave when the battery died! This is the first time I’ve had to recharge the device, I plug it in and go to keep shaving but found that you can’t use the product while being charged! I had a meeting to attend and didn’t want to rock the half shaved half hair look! For future products can you please make the product usable while being charged! That would save some embarrassment on my behalf! Apart from that I love it!.

Bought this for my husband. Inexpensive and does the job!
