I purchased this even though I already have an adjustable torque wrench that covers the range included in this tool. I have found that this tool fits the vast majority of torque requirements I encounter on my bicycle.

When using the ATD-1. 2 the definite click when I’ve reached the set torque value is unmistakable and very pleasing when compared to my other torque wrenches (including my automotive torque wrenches).

Setting the desired torque value is simple and uncomplicated. If I must make a criticism about this tool, it’s that the torque numbers could be more visible. They are stamped into the adjustment barrel, but do not have a high contrast relative to the barrel.

This tool is super simple to use and versatile – a rare feat! The most common size hex and Torx bits are stored in the handle. Just pop in the one you want, turn the dial to the desired torque, and apply hand-torque on the nicely-shaped T-handle until it clicks.

Perfect for tightening seat-post fasteners, aero bar fasteners, etc. Be sure to use assembly compound on the parts being fastened if the parts are made of carbon. Otherwise, with the low torque specified by the bike manufacturers, your carbon fittings may slip.

Ive had two ofthese over a 4 year span and both didnt last and had the exact same problems. First the chuck stop that allows you to hold the shaft in place will taking off the bit strips so you cant get the chuck loose.

Only remedy for that is disassemble the entire tool and remove the parts that stop the shaft. Once youve done that then you can stick a punch in the hole to stop the shaft while you unscrew the chuck.

Number 2 the motors eventually wobble out. Any amount of use puts pressure on the shaft and tool that causes a wobble. This is something thats inevitable, not much you can do for that except replace the tool every 5 hours of use.

Its also very hard to control. If you use it on anything other than drywall, it will jump, buck an ruin your project if precision matters.

This is a specialty tool that works great for the thing it was designed to address. drywall. It is very solid, excellent stability and shape for handling. It is very high rpm so it cuts very cleanly, however, as with all things drywall, it throws a lot of dust.

The tool has a strong axial fan inside that blows the dust away at high velocity (so wear goggles / glasses). I’ve cut many pieces with a single bit. It defaults to a somewhat non-standard 5/16 bit. Other brand tools have 1/8 and 1/4 in bits.

The Rotozip bits are readily available however, and you can get collets for all three sizes if you desire. I did.

For an amateur, I’ve hung a lot of drywall. I’ve managed well enough without this tool, through room after room of several remodels and renovations. I’ve been able to measure carefully and cut holes where outlet boxes need to protrude.

So why get this now? Anybody who has cut drywall remembers at least a few times they cut it wrong. Sometimes you measure five times and still get a perfect hole wrong. Not a happy moment. Plus, there’s the wasted drywall to explain.

My time isn’t money. Nobody’s paying me. But still, it’s my life and I’m happy to save time when I can. This tool? Saving me A LOT of time during my current kitchen remodel. This Rotozip is so much faster than cutting holes with a utility knife.

It is faster than using a jab saw. It is, simply, FAST. Dusty, too. Plan ahead. But FAST. I’m happy. Three points: 1. Use the right bit. 2. It’s pretty fast but still takes a little time. That’s good, so it doesn’t run away on you.

3. I like the On/Off switch. It pulls out from the butt, and stays sticking out a little in use. Don’t even need a free hand to turn it off. I just tapped the butt against my chest (with the whizzing bit pointed carefully away of course).

I purchased this Ingersoll rand 3/4″ impact a couple months ago and the first time I used it I thought it sounded funny this is my 3rd ir2145qimax and it just sounded different but seemed to get the job done so I didn’t complain, fast forward 2 months and now it won’t take off lug nuts on an 11r22.

5, I’m running a air compressor with a 50 gallon tank and a 1/2″ air hose that has always done great with my other ir2145qimax. I need to return this product for either a full refund or a new ir2145qimax so I can go back to doing my job.

I am a semi truck tire guy, we normally use 1 inch chicago guns which weigh 35 pounds. Had one wonk out on me so i bought this gun in a fit of rage. Incredibly quiet and has torque for days. As well as light.

If you do truck tires, you need this gun. Much cheaper than the matco or snap on equivalent but quieter.

The power of a 1 air gun in a lightweight, compact package. This gun is being used on one of our tire service trucks. So much easier than hefting a 30 lb big gun. Fast and powerful. Great for tire and suspension work on tractor trailer units and heavy equipment.

Made from really excellent materials it should be a long-lasting tool, but has a few drawbacks. The pliers are not sprung, which defeats the object of rounding off and smoothing the outside edges to save your hands, as you have to scrape the outside of your fingers to keep re-opening the pliers whilst in use.

They’re quite stiff, so even after a short time of pushing them back open left the tops of my fingers sore. The demonstrated “one hand” opening is a bit of a stretch too, I can just about open the knife blade because it protrudes slightly further out than the rest.

which you’ll notice when it scrapes the backs of your fingers when re-opening those pliers. The wire stripper, (something I was looking forward to having), is completely useless, a wasted space there that could have been utilized for a working tool.

As to access, I liked that the design claimed you could access all the tools from the outside and they were held in place by magnets – but they’re not, only one magnetic part on this and it’s to keep the pliers closed.

Can’t see the point of this, they’re stiff enough to stay together anyway. As to accessing the inner tools, you can’t, you have to open all the outside tools first, which means you’re perilously close to the opened blades whilst you’re fiddling out the inner tools.

This order came with a free sharpening stone and oil pot. Kinda surprised at this too, I mean who uses oil stones these days? Used to use them a lot about 40 years ago but water stones or Diamond are far superior and the grits on the supplied stone are way too coarse to get a decent polished edge.

The “engraving” on the blade is not, strictly speaking, actually engraving, it’s laser etching. Overall. it’s okay. but I was expecting to be blown away by a famous Leatherman and quite frankly, I’m not.

and I can’t return it either because I had it engraved. I suggest you only buy one of these once you’ve handled it in person, never put your trust in a maker’s name. wooddragon45.

The quality of this tool is great. I love the handles’ butterfly type deployment and one handed operation of all the different tools. The different blades are sturdy and are of the highest quality. But there is a major design fault with the pliers, which is discussed regularly on the forms.

If you apply even a moderate amount of force, the pliers become stiff and no longer open/close freely. You are then forced to wriggle the handles side to side to free it up. Leatherman are aware of this problem and are doing nothing about it.

My Gerber, on the other hand, as ‘inferior’ as some claim it to be, is faultless and is now the multitool I reach for. I lodged a claim with Leatherman and they have a 6 to 8 week delay ‘due to Covid 19’.

My partner needed a new multitool for work and we thought we’d give this a shot with all of its features and we have enjoyed our older leathermans quite thoroughly over the years. Let me tell you, when my partner took of out of the packaging and first heard that satisfying click of magnets – his reaction was as if he were a child on Christmas Morning who got everything he had asked Santa for.

I’ll be lounging and will hear the magnet clicks in the distance along with a satisfying “oooo – can you hear how good that sounds?!”. Needless to say – this is the new home leatherman and one of our older ones will be the new work tool.

Also very good overkill method for opening mail if you want to hear those satisfying clicks.

This gadget is just okay, in my opinion. I think it is overpriced for what little it does. The holes it punches out are not complete and the eyelet setter is somewhat complicated to figure out with the spinning cube at the tip of the device.

It’s heavy, bulky, and not the easiest to manuever when punching a tiny hole. I will use this tool but I don’t believe it was worth the price.

Takes a few times to get used to the amount of pressure to use. Too much and you split the eyelet, not enough and it doesn’t stay attached. I recommend using eyelets with a washer. Seems to keep the back of the eyelet from splitting as much.

Can be a bit difficult to line up eyelet, fabric and washer but all in all it does the job.

Looks more complicated than it actually is, but don’t lose the directions. Suggest taking pic of directions to keep on your phone. It only makes two size holes and eyelets, very small and small.

Well made, compact design, versatile mounting bracket, and the quality you expect from Bosch. I used it the first time recently on a fencing project, and was extremely pleased with the quick setup, leveling capability, and the strong laser line — even outside in the middle of the day.

Let’s start with the packaging. It’s solid wood and leather. The packaging is something you’ll keep as long as the knife, beautiful packaging!! The sheath is very nice, heavy and thick. The stainless belt clip is mirror polished and very heavy duty!! This will certainly last the life of the knife, as well as the beautiful packaging!!! Stitched in multiple rows all around its edges.

The knife/tool itself is so sharp straight out of the package. The craftsmanship is something found in one off/custom knives. It’s heavy and a lot bigger than you expect. Very nice balance, handle makes it part of your hand and becomes very easy to use.

You find yourself asking why you’ve went so long without a Hori-Hori. This has got to be the best one in the market. Everything about it is perfect and very well executed. Buy it if you have the $35-55 that it costs.

I’d pay $75 for one of these because it’s likely the only one you’ll ever have to buy!!.

I recently purchased this tool based on recommendations from a gardening class at our local extension service. Speaker declared a Hori Hori knife absolutely essential for the garden. Even my husband (the ultimate tool man) was impressed with the quality of this tool when it arrived! The leather sheath is a nice addition to the tool! I only gave it 4 stars because it is the dead of winter and I have not had a chance to actually give it a trial run in the garden!.

I occasionally assemble items that require blind rivets. I’ve owned several manual rivet guns including most recently a professional grade gun that was expensive however has the leverage needed for larger rivets.

Problem is that when you’re setting a lot of rivets you have to have Popeye arms to get it done. Faced with a larger job I bought the Milwaukee power rivet gun. Game over. It is extremely easy to use and works really well.

Could not be happier. It makes any job requiring rivets go much easier and faster. While it has some heft to it – it’s well made – it is not tiring to use. I only wish I had purchased it sooner.

I actually bought this tool specifically because it had scissors. I use scissors regularly and based on the YouTube video I had seen this tool had a really decent pair of scissors. I have carried this tool with me every day since it arrived and a couple of months ago I went to open the scissors and they didn’t open like they normally did.

Upon inspection I noticed that a little tab of metal that engages the scissor blades to open wasn’t there any longer. I looked at Amazon reviews and it seems like this is a pretty common problem with this tool.

It is seriously unfortunate that that little tab of metal has turned what was literally one of the best tools I’ve ever owned to something that’s. less than that. I still carry it everyday and all the other tools work fine.

Well, except the can opener, that thing is pretty useless come to think of it, but I don’t use that nearly as often as I do the scissors and if were truly an emergency situation I could probably get a can open with that opener.

SO it’s still used quite often, but I am still quite sad that the scissors are not functional any longer.

Seems like a very nice tool for the money. Although I have not put it through a lot of hard use yet everything seems generally as expected. I have no significant complaints with my very light use and initial impression.

The fit and finish was well done. Much better than the Leatherman surge I purchased recently which arrived as a super greasy\filthy maladjusted mess. The only things that I have noticed as concerns so far, is that in comparison to some of my other wood saws, the blade seemed slightly less sharp than on my Leathermans or SAK’s, and I can see potentially getting your palm pinched a bit near where the handles meet when closed.

This is a common design issue for most multitools, and doesn’t appear unusual, but that doesn’t mean I like it. It doesn’t seem like there is anything major to complain about though, yet. As far as the good things.

The locking action when each main tool snaps into place is very satisfying. The spring on both the pliers and scissors is also fantastic and useful. Both the main tools seem to function as expected. I have not put the other tools to use yet much.

The knife is decent but probably could be be a bit sharper from the factory I’m not sure how easily replaceable these cutting blades are in the pliers, so that may be an issue. I bought these because I collect tools and most specifically because of the cool scissors design.

I use Fluke D-snip as my main tool in my cable installation and terminations as I am a Telecom contractor. These scissors act as a very decent replacement when my pouch with my snips isn’t close. The one drawback is the weight.

It’s not heavy like a Leatherman Surge, but isn’t light, like a Wingman. I consider it heavy and a bit bulky. I don’t consider these problems though exactly, and for what it does it’s size as weight are appropriate.

I replaced the chain & sprockets on my XR650L and the master link would NOT go on via the old vise-grip method. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a tool I use about once every 5 years so bought this more for the price than anything else.

The tool worked great, the only issue was that without a handle I had to use quite a bit hand-strength to get it to work, the larger (and much more expensive ones) come with handles – now I know why.

Because there is no handle have a pair of disposable gloves on hand so you don’t get chain grease all over yourself. In terms of value-for-money this tool worked fine, more expensive tools will work better but if replacing a chain is something you do rarely then this tool is all you need.

I think the item is perfect and for the price you can’t beat it. I literally pushed the pin out of my old chain out in about 1 min. It’s that easy!!! All you need is a size 15 and 16mm wrench and your in business.

Good quality. You really need this tool to attach the connecting clip link on an RK 525 GXW ultimate chain if you have no other appropriate tools.

I had a Shrade Tough Tool back in the day before Shrade was bought out. I loved that one and when I saw they were making this model, I thought for that price I would take a chance. The machining is not very good quality, the locking mechanism fails most of the time so that I have to be careful not to cut myself, and the scissors will not even cut paper.

I am usually easy to satisfy when it comes to tools, but this is a real disappointment. I would not recommend this product.

First of all I was very pleased with the fast service! Second I found it to be of very high quality. I really like the design, I have packed a multi-tool for 25 years but have not had one with side blades.

This hammer was an excellent size for us to pack with our tent right in the tent bag. It’s really wonderful for extracting the metal steamed we use. It’s very ergonomic and felt great for both putting the steaks in and taking them out.

It didn’t slip and was easy to hit the steaks exactly where I wanted to. Buuuuuuut, it’s too light. While it is weighted so it Alfred’s good in your hand, it didn’t have enough weight to help drive in steaks when they were in rougher ground or more rocky environments.

I often had to use a rock to help drive the steaks in. It wouldn’t take much more weight to make this more effective. It defeats the point of a small, easy to handle hammer if it’s not heavy enough to work effectively.

If you need an ultra light hammer for backpacking, this is great, but know that you’ll need some assistance to use it to its full effect.

Have used this on three different styles of tent pegs in at least three different ground terrains. It is significantly better than trying to use the back of your hatchet, and night and day better than trying to find a rock to hammer your tent pegs in, with.

It worked well with flat top tent stakes, rounded metal wire tent pegs, and even 12″ steel nails. It didn’t feel like it had that much heft when I was using it on hard packed gravel. But it still got the job done.

It’s hard to _want_ a backpacking hammer to be any heavier because you have to _carry_ it. And I’m not sure that I want this hammer to be any heavier. But, when I was using it to hammer things I wished the head was 100 g heavier or 50 g heavier, but, then carrying it around, I appreciated how light it was.

I consider that it might be better than a hatchet to hammer stuff in; it even means you could drop the axe, carry this hammer, and a big knife, and use the big knife on wood. Knives are more versatile than a small hatchet, and, could cut down a bit of weight off your overall kit by dropping the small hatchet behind.

I have to say that the removal function to pull pegs out, with the claw, is as useful as the hammering experience, which is good. All told I’m happy that I have it, though there is one complaint that I have which is easy to fix, and not everyone would like it, is that I wished that the handle felt grippier.

The problem is if you score the metal somehow to create a rough abrasive surface, that’s also going to give you blisters. So the handle feels pretty good, but when my hand was wet, pulling pegs out in the rain, I felt like it was a little slippier than I would have liked.

But I’m not sure if that’s something that this company should have to deal with. Things are slippery when they are wet. All I’m saying is that when I’m holding my (different tool) hatchet handle, which is a rough plastic, I don’t feel like I get blisters, and I feel like I have more positive control over the tool.

Maybe I’ll use hockey tape or something. All said, I’m going to start using this in place of a hatchet FOR THE PURPOSE of TENT PEG INSERTIONS and REMOVAL, (not for chopping wood). LOL It’s great for car camping as well.

Or if you’re car camping, you could use this for your tent, and a full size axe for wood, and leave that little dinky hatchet at home. Big fan.

This is a really cool hammer but after using it on my first camping trip there’s two things I really wish it had. The first is a hook to pull tent stakes. It’s not too bad to use the claw of the hammer but it’s not optimal as it can slide off the stakes when pulling.

The second feature that would be really nice is a leather cover or pouch. The claws are fairly sharp and could easily rip a hole in fabric so I didn’t want to pack it with my tent. Other than that it’s fairly lightweight yet very solid.

I would love to review this saw except I haven’t recieved it yet. The price was the main reason I settled on the F2 and the display unit in my local Rockler store looked great. The table looked solid with its cast iron wings and looked well built and worth the money for my first cabinet saw.

I also liked that it runs on 110v, 25A circuits since my garage does not have a 220v line running to it which limited my options somewhat. Unfortunately the product is back ordered and the estimated shipping date has been moved back twice on me already.

I have considered canceling my order as it has been a month since I placed it but Laguna is a reputable brand and the F2 saw seems to have excellent reviews elsewhere online. It also appears that the item is not in stock anywhere else so I guess I am going to continue to wait for my shipment from Rockler/Laguna.

I just hope that it doesnt take another 3-6 months to actually take delivery like it’s going to for my new Incra fence. Im sure that it’s likely a good thing that all of these tools from the various companies are back ordered as that means people are actually getting back to work and have money to spend again.

I just hate waiting as im sure every other craftsman out there does as well. Once I actually have the saw I’m sure that it will more than live up to it’s reputation. I will be more than happy to change my rating at that time.

As an aside: It would be well received by myself, and others im sure, if Rockler or Laguna could provide more frequent updates on the status of backorders, especially large and expensive items such as this.

It can be a little confusing when you purchase a saw in August and then you have 2 emails stating estimated delivery is now end of October yet the item on the website shows November or December as the estimated shipping dates.

Im sure that we would love to know that the estimated shipping dates emailed to us are still accurate.

I submitted my order for the Fusion F2 in February when Rockler was offering a 10% price discount, and after a few weeks I received an email saying it was on back order with an estimated ship date in April.

After a few calls with Rockler and Laguna, I cancelled my order. The saw showed up a few days later. I’m glad my order didn’t get cancelled. The saw isn’t perfect, but it’s a huge upgrade from my 27 year old craftsman contractor saw.

Starting with the packaging, the saw arrived in a wood crate with all of the components inside. After opening the crate, I was pleasantly surprised that the wings were already attached and were dead on level with the main portion of the table.

The remainder of the assembly was pretty simple, but varied quite a bit from the videos Laguna has put out for assembly. After speaking with a Rep from Laguna for another issue I found out that it was because they made slight changes to the model.

After assembly I checked the table and miter slots for their squareness to the blade. It was roughly. 040 out of square but was simple to correct. The trunnion being attached to the cabinet instead of the table made it easy to correct the issue.

Another plus was that the blade was dead on the 90 degree mark from the table with no adjustments. The fence setup was pretty simple, but since setting it up, I find that I have to frequently adjust the fence to keep it square.

Perhaps it’s because it’s new, but in 2 weeks I’ve had to reset the fence 3 separate times. One thing I don’t like about the fence is the onboard holder for the push stick. I have numerous jigs I use that I size to fit over the fence.

With the push stick holders in place, I have to remove them to use my jigs. Also, the auxiliary fence gets in the way due to it’s irregular size, so I find myself removing and replacing it on a regular basis.

I prefer my old fence off of my old craftsman saw when it comes to using jibs. Regarding the T-Slot and miter gauge, I found a lot of play vertically in the miter gauge, and. 006 play horizontally in the slot when using the miter gauge.

I contacted Laguna regarding this and they promptly offered to send me a new miter gauge to see if that solved the problem. I haven’t received it yet so I don’t know at this point if it’s an abnormality in the milling of the cast iron top or sizing of the miter gauge.

While on the phone with the Laguna rep I let them know that one of the self adhesive slide bumpers on the fence was already coming off. They offered to send replacements for this as well. While I like the idea of onboard storage, I don’t care for the placement or the layout of it.

For instance, if you want to change the blade, you have to remove the miter gauge in order to get at the blade wrench. And the riving knife is difficult to get into and out of the storage area. Regarding the riving knife, the one that comes with the saw does not work with a thin kerf blade.

It works fine with the blade that comes with the saw, but you might as well throw it away and order the alternate riving knife right away. Additionally, I have an outfeed table set up for the saw. Because the fence storage is on the back of the machine, it becomes useless with an outfeed table mated to the machine.

Operationally, the saw works well. There is little to no vibration. I’ve cut 8/4 maple and hickory with no perceivable taxing of the machine. Of course, I’m not forcing the wood through the machine like it’s a 5 HP machine!! And I’m not using the blade it was shipped with which you would be better served to turn into a decorative shop clock by adding a simple hour and minute hand to it.

It really is a terrible blade. I immediately changed to my diablo blades and saw instant improvement. One of the biggest concerns I had in purchasing the saw was the dust collection. I spoke with a tech at Laguna prior to making the purchase and he stated that there were improvements made to the new model for dust collection.

I have the saw hooked up to a porter cable dust collector, and while it does a fair job of keeping the majority of the larger debris out of the cabinet, I don’t feel like the top attachment does a very good job of keeping wood chips off of the top of the saw.

I’m not going to fault Laguna for this as it could be an issue related to not having enough horsepower in my dust collection system. So all in all I would say this about the saw. The customer service at Laguna has been ultra responsive and has offered to address every issue I’ve reported.

The saw has adequate power to do any job for a DIY’er or someone that uses it for more than just personal use. It operates smoothly and the setup is straightforward and simple. The table is flat and the machine has little to no vibration.

The portability of moving around the shop is excellent. It rolls across the floor with little effort when using the built in wheels.

I typically have the machine shop put in the cam bearings but timing didn’t allow that to line up this time so I bit the bullet and bought the installer. A friend did mine a long time ago using this tool, so I knew what to look for and a general idea how to use it.

The difference between then and now is they don’t provide the “short” driver rod for the front bearing. Instead you need to drive it in from the rear of the motor. Smart money is on that approach. Tried to do it from the front and buggered the bearing.

Lesson learned. Other than user errors the tool performed flawlessly. There are lots of cheaper options, very few better options. Price\Value this is IMHO the best choice.

After having a bad experience and nearly ruining a brand new 8 speed shimano chain, i decided to invest in this tool. Used my new Parktool 3. 3 and it did not disappoint. Perfect riveting! No stuck/ hard link.

Its a total paisa wasool tool. Pricy yes, but you wont regret buying one after using one. Go for it.

This is a very nice chain tool. It feels solid and sturdy. I was eventually able to get it lined up to install the connector pin in my Campy road bike chain. It was not easy though. There isn’t any way for this tool to hold the two links together so that you can then use both hands to put the guide pin into the links to get started.

I see why Campy will only recommend that you use their $115 chain tool with the link-holder prongs. Now THAT is a nice chain tool. I didn’t want to spend that kind of Lira on a chain tool so I bought this one.

I also won’t be installing my own Campy chain ever again. I’ll either use the quick-connect links or pay my LBS to do it next time. I got off track there. Yes, if you need a chain tool because you want to install a chain yourself, then this is a good chain tool & well worth the price.

In fact, buy this one. After you buy it go watch some Park Tool videos about chain maintenance and congratulate yourself on solving your chain tool problem.

I keep this in my saddlebag. Due to not having the correct alan size for my bike, this has come in handy many times with minor adjustments and matnence. Would recommend especially if you live in the US where most tools come in imperial sizes instead of metric.

I have had it for a few months and I love the size -it can easily fit in a pocket.

If one needs a very small multi tool with a few tools this may work for you. I personally found there was not enough tool variety included in the MT-10. Size was also too small; found it difficult to get a good grip.

Exchanged for the larger Lezyne stainless 20 multi tool product. The Lezyne is made of stainless steel which will not rust, includes more tools and is much easier to grip.

Purchased this to keep with my bike to minimize weight from multiple tools. Tool is high quality and includes a nice chain breaker. Glad I made this purchase. Only complaint I have is don’t see the need for the CO2 adaptor.

Would have liked to see this space used for another tool.
