Quality bit of kit with easy adjustments. Great for making cupboards,shelving units etc. when you don’t want visible fixings. I will only use this a couple of times a month so I can’t comment on its longevity although for me I am sure it will last a long time.

One gripe, they always seem to make the storage cases a bit small.

does what it says. simple and easy to use. vibrates a bit, so be sure to hold it firmly to stay on target. a little underpowered (RPM goes noticeable down when cutting into regular chipboard) but the cut is still nice.

it would be really great if you could attach the slide/fence also on the underside of the bladehousing, this would make referencing a lot easier. If you order from Axminster and are not within the UK: 45 years of international export experience have not taught them that there are different electric outlets around the world.

So there is no mention on the webpage that this thing comes with a UK plug. Customer service mentioned that they always ship with UK plug. On the bright side: this way i found the excellent makita instructions.

It is quite easy to replace the cable with a matching one.

Can’t fault this little jem from Makita. Does everything you’d expect from a biscuit jointer, with style. Machine settings are easy to adjust and lock off with positivist. The cutter head glides beautifully with next to no play.

All in all a highly recommend peice of kit. If you have never owned a biscuit jointer give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

Still the best and most reliable battery powered Mid-Torque impact on the market. I’d been wanting this particular mid torque for a while but waited for a deal. Milwaukee tools are great but they aren’t the cheapest.

I appreciate that as I know you get what you pay for. At this time some impacts are starting to catch up in terms of Ft-Lbs of torque however looking at the release date of this tool and practicality I don’t believe there much I can’t do unless you’re working on ships or 18 Wheelers consistently.

Even if other companies are starting to put out stronger impacts I trust Milwaukee and this product. I’ve used the warranty and still amazed at their ability to diagnose an issue and have your tool back in your hands fixed or replayed in a week.

That puts Milwaukee at the top in terms of their warranty and without even having to register your device you’re still covered. Any company that pays attention to detail in such a way should be trusted to handle the small things.

As for use if you pair this with the 6AH High Output Battery or the 8AH you’ve essentially moved into High Torque teritority. Like I said there’s not much this tool can’t do. For most taking off lug nuts and small engine parts won’t even heat this tool up.

Bought this kit back in October 2021. Right out of the box there was an issue with the charger flashing red and green, indicating defective battery but since both batteries did the same, I assume it was the charger.

I had to order another kit and return the defective one. Now 5 months in and this charger has stopped working. I use these tools to work with and need to we able to rely on them. Now that I’m passed the return window I must deal directly with Milwaukee.

I really like the impact for automotive work but it’s useless to me if I can’t charge the batteries. I really hope Milwaukee rises up and sorts this out.

Plenty of power and solidly built. Really like the quick blade change feature and the variable speed controls. Starlock system holds the attachments very well. The provided plunge blade has held up well cutting wood.

Plastic storage case is okay for storing the sanding pads but not well suited for the straight blade attachments. Very happy overall!.

Before I purchased the tool I looked at several reviews of as many as 25 oscillators. The two areas that separated the average from the good to the very good were endurance and versatility. Bosch had the advantage of the Starlock Plus which made switching from one function to another real easy.

This addressed the versatility issue. The endurance issue was, hands down, the AC powered units vs battery powered units. AC won every time. These were the factors that determined my decision to buy the GOP40-30-B.

I bought this to replace an older multi-tool and am impressed at the relative capabilities. The 4 amp model has tremendous power for wood work; balancing weight and performance that I didn’t realize was lacking in my previous tool.

The tool is powerful enough to make jamb cutting and plunges cutting is a snap. The dust collection for the detail sander comes in handy on stairs and hard to reach areas. The only draw back is that, at this cost, I would expect an L-Boxx 2 in place of the canvas bag and the hard accessory case.

I love this tool, it is exactly what I need in my daily servicing of industrial scientific equipment. It is very versatile and 60% of it is built well. The problems are the bit holder never holds the bits well and they fall out of their holders and rattle around.

This is not from use as i never use the bits in the handle and even though I haven’t toughed them since the day I bought them, they are always loose inside and rattling around. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM is the black rubber grip on the handle.

I have owned three of these so far and each one, the rubber grip loosens up on the plastic handle and then you can no longer put the torque that you need on the screwdriver to loosen a tight screw. Perhaps if they bonded the rubber to the plastic or used a different material for the grip? Either way, it is too expensive to replace every six months because the rubber grip fails.

This driver is amazing! Shopped around and read every review site, finally came across this driver that has everything. Standard size bits, lots of them, all stored in the handle. Swivel palm rest. Compact size for hard to each areas and to make it convenient to toss in a bag.

Extendable for those hard to reach areas. And the whole shaft can come out as slip into an impact driver, great as an extension. Seriously so happy with this, use it all the time.

I never knew that Dewalt made a tool set like this. I love all their drills, circular saws and so on. I buy nothing but Dewalt. When I saw this set for sale I could not pass it up. I only paid 130. 00 and I thought why not try it for that price.

I have to say, best set I’ve ever owned and I own a lot of Snap On tools. This set is really worth t he price, well made and of the quality I’d expect from Dewalt.

Bought this via a recommendation from a YouTube video and have to admit, it feels so much better to use than my old Estwing. Great weigh about it and looks the part too.

I bought this drill just under 3 years ago. I live in a condo so it has come in very handy once in a while. I liked the fact that it wasn’t heavy and that it pretty-much met all of my needs for fixing things around the home.

I’ve not used the drill very often; perhaps no more than several times a year. When using it recently to remove door hinges from a couple of cabinets we were renovating, I switched batteries. The one I took off the charger indicated a full charge but when i attached it to the drill, there was no power.

The small LED on the drill would light up for a fraction of a second but, other than that, no power at all. On switching back to the other battery, the drill worked. So something is wrong with the spare battery, despite it showing it has a full charge when placed in the charger.

Considering the few times this has been used, I’m not impressed with Bosch. Something has clearly gone wrong with the second battery and the cost of replacing it is really out of the question. I’m so disappointed by this.

I thought that I could rely on the Bosch name for quality and dependability. The 2 yr warranty is now past on the batteries so there’s nothing I can do. I can’t even log into my Bosh Advantage account to contact them.

I will use the drill with its one remaining battery for the time being and, when I want to get a new drill with two batteries, I’ll pass on anything which Bosch has to offer. One of the reasons I got a Bosch is because I have an eBike with two Bosch batteries – they have a good name in Europe and they have served me well over the last few years.

Oh well, buyer beware.

I purchased the GSR18V-190B22 drill early spring, started using it a few weeks later, I noticed the drill would abruptly stop working when using it for screwing, if you released trigger & depressed again it wood work sometimes.

thought it also was the battery, swapped batteries, even tried batteries from my older drill same thing. I returned the drill to Lowe’s & they replaced it with a new one. This one appeared to be working fine until I started building some cabinets & drilling pocket holes, it totally destroyed holes because after 4 or 5 holes with a Kreg bit, the chuck would loosen & the bit would flop around.

Almost ruined my kreg jig. I thought I wasn’t tightening the chuck but even after tightening as much as I could, it still loosened after a few holes. i switched to my older 18v and it never loosened once over the course of 50 holes.

I was only drilling in 1/2” birch plywood, the chuck should have never loosened. Very disappointed with this drill, 2 failures as far as I’m concerned. I love the ergonomic feel & balance of the Bosch over my dewalt but I may have to go back.

I hate it when companies come out with new products, claming improvements, but the only improvement they make is to their bottom line. No exception here. Bosch claims more torque with this drill but it appears they did that only on the slow speed, and only by slowing the drill down (changing the gear ratio).

So unless you have a LOT of patience, the added torque does not benefit. And to make matters worse, the fast speed, on this version now just cuts out if a higher torque is required — which is what is required when starting to withdraw most screws.

Generation one used to slow down but would power through. So now, trying to withdraw a deck screw requires multiple depressing the trigger. And, they removed the handy spare driver holder at the back of the drill — I used that all the time.

I would never have bought my two drills. Disappointed.

I use the 20 pocket pro electricians tool pouch. I’ve been using this pouch for almost 20 years and have never actually worn one out. I’ve had a couple stolen and passed a couple down to employees. It holds all of my most used hand tools.

I carry a screw driver set (7 screwdrivers), nut driver set (5 nut drivers iirc), 5 different sizes/types of pliers, an open end wrench set, a couple of gear wrenches, a 3/8″ ratchet and socket set with extensions, wire crimpers/strippers, pin punches, hex keys, a hammer, a multi-meter, silicone lube, zip ties a roll of Teflon tape, a roll of electrical tape along with a few other odds and ends and there is a place for everything and then some.

I carry this to the work site using the padded shoulder strap and I always have my have all my tools so that can get to them quickly when needed, then put away neatly when done. This is a great bag for electrical, hvac, pool/spa equipment repair, or any light industrial repair work where you and your tools have to go to the equipment that needs to be fixed.

Good quality apron for a good price. I’ve wanted a tool belt for a long time but it’s hard to find a simple belt that fits a woman’s frame (and isn’t $#%&* pink). I didn’t know exactly what kind of apron I’d need so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one that might not be suitable.

So far I like this and it’s seen a fair bit of use. My only complain is that the belt is really long and there’s lots of excess since I wear it on one of the last two holes. Would be nice if they made 2 belt sizes.

I use the handles to carry it around and hang it up when I’m not using it. I definitely recommend this if you’re just starting out and not sure what you need. Or if you do know what you need, it’s a good value either way.

It holds what it needs and currently doing the job. We’ll see how long the grommets stay in place, that’s the biggest factor. We have used the Kuny’s brown leather with double belt notches, purchased at CT previously and love it but unfortunately it’s no longer available (lasted quite some time! Please bring it back!).

I should have purchased ten, one for every room in the house and one each for my tool box and tool pouch. It’s just that handy. It includes most every bit you can imagine, the handle is “fat” enough that you can get a grip on it that doesn’t destroy your hand when a lot of torques is necessary.

The ratchet mechanism is robust and won’t break unless abused. I highly recommend buying several of these. CPO’s price is right and you get Milwaukee quality. What else could you possibly want? You get CPO’s outstanding Customer Service for too.

This is an excellent screwdriver. I love the size and grip of it. It is ideal for zero gapping and switching out blades on hair clippers. It was recommended to me by a barber for that specific purpose.

I love it.

After a little use this screwdriver seems sturdy and tight in the ratcheting mode. Only negative, should be a little easier to remove bits. This could take the place of 6 screwdrivers in your tool pouch, that’s nice.

As far as biscuit joiners go, this is a good quality one. Having it cordless is a big convenience and if you already have Makita batteries I would go the cordless route. I have no issue with the strength of the biscuits.

Detractors will say the biscuits are weak and as an example they will snap them in bending to prove it. However, once the biscuits are in place are glued up, they are not necessarily subjected to focused bending moments and so they are not as vulnerable to failure as you might think.

They are plenty strong enough for many applications. My complaint is that the tolerances on biscuits are terrible. The dimensions on them vary from brand to brand, and even from biscuit to biscuit within one brand.

Therefore the supposed alignment benefit that these biscuits are supposed to deliver isn’t really there. For perfect glue-up alignment, I still have to manually align and clamp. It’s a tool I really want to love but haven’t gotten there yet.

In many applications, pocket screws have made biscuits obsolete. I’ve heard a good dowel jig system does a better job than biscuits. And then there is always a domino joiner. I wonder if biscuit joiners will even be around in 20 years as better solutions are developed and become cheaper.

Pros: Accurate, Quiet, Excellent dust collection. Con: Having to take the fence off to make vertical cuts, the cog on the fence adjustment is nylon. Overall I would say that this Biscuit Jointer is a big step up from my previous, cheap, Biscuit Jointer.

The convenience of battery operation goes without saying and the dust collection is epic with the dust bag in place. Equally impressive is the dust collection when fitted onto my vacuum, which incidentally fitted tightly without an adapter and never fell off.

Biscuit joints were made without sloppy fitting biscuits, a problem with my cheap machine, and were accurately placed, another problem with my cheap machine. the only negative is with the fence. Although accurate it has to be removed when placing Biscuits vertically in the centre of a panel, with the adjustment being made via a knob working a rack and pinion, with the cogwheel being made of nylon, this might lead to premature wear if the fence is removed and replaced frequently.

A very high quality tool as one would expect from Makita. Nicely weighted and well built. Only criticism for which I have no idea as to how Makita could rectify. You can trap your hand / fingers as the body slides towards the jig.

Index marks are clearly displayed and help make placement easy. Happy to have purchased even if slightly pricier than it deserves when compared to other Makita LXT tools. Would highly recommend.

I love hammers, and I am a fan of milwaukee hand tools, but this is a complete failure. It is extremely uncomfortable in the hand. The claw shape is perfect for framing, but the swing and grip are utterly terrible.

A much better hammer is the $20 “Dalluge Dawg”. These big stores need to bring back the Vaughan 19 oz California Framing Hammer. I will be attempting to return my milwaukee hammer tomorrow because it has such a terrible swing.

I feel cheated. I have bought many hammers and this is expensive and very bad. The handle is a little too short and fat to get decent leverage. Also too fat to get a good grip.

I purchased this tool originally to power a masonry bit into concrete. Repeatedly. Many times. Over and over. (I love, admire, and respect redundancy. ) Since then, it’s been used to drill holes in well pipe, and mix mortar.

Lots and lots of mortar. I’m an old tile installer, and used to mixing mortar with a 1/2″ drill and a drywall mud mixer. Except I’m not mixing tile mortar, I’m mixing coarse mortar for rock-setting. Over, and over, many times, repeatedly.

(I still love, admire, and respect redundancy. ) It has bogged down under heavy load, protested, but kept on going. Heck, I even left it out uncovered in a rainstorm, which I figure was the ultimate in boneheaded neglect, yet as soon as it dried out, it fired up again.

The chuck has remained firm, no sign of a wobble. Very solid unit.

Bought this as a used product, but I needed to mix mortar and thinset for a tile job. This tool gets it done, no problem. Has the power you need without worry about burning out a motor on a cordless drill.

DeWalt has a good name and this drill continues with the tradition. I recommend it.

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been swinging hammers and use one nearly daily for jobs. I started with a 12oz hammer and as the jobs called for more power, I “graduated” to a 20oz framing hammer.

Now that I’m older, I find that my older hammers aren’t cutting it anymore, leaving a reverberating sensation in my arms. Enter this fantastic 16oz hammer from Dewalt. The first thing you’ll notice is the grip that inspires confidence even on the hottest of days.

The second is, for me, it’s a fantastic balance without being overly head heavy. The third is the comfort grip that somehow doesn’t translate reverberations into my hand and arm. I love the side nail puller and the tapered claw to dig into wood to retrieve nails.

Overall, you really can’t go wrong with this hammer.

I got this hammer about a month ago and I’m very happy with it so far. I will add to my review after I’ve used it more. The first thing I noticed was the design of the head. The area of the claw seems much thinner than other hammers I’ve used.

This shape allows for easier access to nail heads when trying to pull them from a board. The side of the head has 2 other notches designed for pulling finish nails and framing nails. The notches are spaced perfectly for removing common staples.

The nail striking surface is more square than round and seems to help eliminate those off target hits that end up bending the nail. The head also has a magnetic nail holder for starting nails in the hard to reach areas where you can’t get one hand to hold nail and the other to hammer it.

This feature works very well and seems to be better than a couple other brands that I’ve used. The hammer head and handle are one piece with a nicely shaped grip that fits very naturally in your hand.

The hammer is well balanced feels very comfortable when swinging and striking. I’m very pleased with this hammer after my early use. Can’t wait to use it more !.

I used this hammer to take a part a work bench I made over decade ago. It was built with both nails and screws. In the process of dis-assembly I missed some of the screws. Using this hammer to beat the boards to remove the nails it also applied enough force to pull out the screws I forgot to remove.

I did not notice any vibration hand and arm from the hammer. I did try to use the tri-puller to remove nails from the boards. Nails were longer than the tri-puller could remove so I had to revert to the claw.

Curvature of the claw was less than a traditional claw hammer and I found it less effective to removed the 2 1/2″ nails I was removing. Later in the day I drove some 8d 2 1/2″ common nails. This hammer allow2ed me to easily drive the nails into 2×4.

The magnetic nail holder worked well. I needed to adjust by swing to get the nail started straight. I do not swing a hammer very much. I was pleased that I did not notice any fatigue in my arm after using this hammer.

The handle was comfortable with the bent bottom portion allowing me do apply a larger force with a shorter handle.

These 12 volt power drivers are powerful yet light. When I started using these, I put my 18 volt versions away (for the most part). These little guys are so much lighter making them much easier to use.

You may say, “Hey, the 18 volt tools are easy to use. ” Try one of these. They actually light where the bit meets the screw. They fit easily into confined areas. The battery life between charges is amazing.

So far I have been extremely happy with these Bosch cordless drills and drivers which is precisely why I just ordered a couple more of these factory reconditioned ones. Has that quality level the German products are famous for while still carrying a very good price tag.

Best bang for the buck as far as I’m concerned. Very small and lightweight with good performance and battery life. The small lithium battery that fits right inside the handle makes the tool both smaller and lighter.

Really nice in tighter/smaller working spaces. Been recommending it to all my friends.

Unbeatable for the price. As a kit for homeowners I don’t see how it could get any better. These drivers are heavy in weight for their small size. Feels like a lot for the money. I like them much better than the ones with the big batteries for smaller jobs around the house.

I have an 18 volt Makita and unless I am building a fence or house I am probably going for the Bosch. Love them could not be happier and I’m picky.

All of the tools work great, I’ve used all three almost every day for the last couple of months and they all perform well. Dewalt’s design of the oscillating multi tool can’t be beat! I have others but the blade change is so convenient I just grab the Dewalt.

No bolts and wrenches to keep track of just squeeze and go, it’s awesome. The 5ah battery on the sander is a little awkward and unbalanced but could be fine with one of the smaller batteries. Jig saw works good and the battery life of this 20v brushless is far superior to my identical 18v brushes jig saw.

So far so good, will definitely purchase from Acme tools again!.

As soon as I got these tools I checked to see if they operated properly and they did. They survived the shipping trip. The orbital sander is perfect, but eats batteries pretty fast. Prepare to have a couple extra charged for big projects.

The multi tool is great for attaching a mouse sander to finish off those edges or corners. The jig saw is great for small wood cutting projects with the ability to cut inner circles. It’s expected that these eat batteries, since they replace their corded counter parts.

I love this set! I have already used the sander and multitool. I plan to use the jigsaw today! Great tools at a great price! Batteries seem to last for awhile too.

I purchased a DeWalt DWE-315 oscillating tool in early May 2022 at Lowe’s. I didn’t use it until I began my kitchen remodel in late June early July 2022. When I opened the box I discovered it was missing the edge guide attachment.

I e-mailed DeWalt Service and asked them to send the attachment to my residence. In exchange for the part, they asked me to send them a copy of my cash register receipt as proof of purchase for the tool which I no longer had.

Enraged, I returned the tool to Lowe’s which honored my copy of my credit card statement showing the purchase in lieu of a receipt and they offered to give me another identical tool in exchange for the one I had.

After feeling like a thief with DeWalt, I asked Lowe’s to return my refund in cash because I had a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with DeWalt. I currently own numerous DeWalt tools but this situation has definitely given me cause to investigate other tools.

I ended up purchasing a Fein oscillating tool over the DeWalt. After using both tools, I can clearly state that the Fein tool way out performs the DeWalt and I’m glad the situation occurred.

I bought the DeWalt Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool kit less than a year ago and absolutely love it! I use it everyday and is my go to problem solved. I am a contractor and my tools are money makers.

Unfortunately, three days ago my DeWalt Brushless Oscillating Multi-tool stopped working in mid use RIGHT AFTER I told the customer how reliable, tough and we’ll designed was. I was embarrassed when it just stopped working with my new customer watching.

I don’t know if he will be calling me back since he can question everything I say now. I told him that my DeWalt Brushless cordless powertools, (which is the only brand I use and I have a good amount of them), are the best you can get but he views the multi tool break right after, how can he believe anything I say?!?! I CANNOT go without my oscillating tool and was basically forced into purchasing another.

I speak highly of this product and would still recommend DeWalt tools to whoever asks or I see needs guidance in various stores. I have tried calling and got nowhere and I cannot go without it so I was forced to buy a new one (and with the stay at home order because of Covid-19, business has been incredibly slow which has limited my finances significantly).

The LED light comes on when I pull the trigger but the motor does not engage. I don’t know what to do from here but $149 right now is a big investment. I give it 3 stars for this reason.

I had a problem shortly after I bought the tool where it no longer would turn on. I assumed it was just a bad electrical connection. I sent it in to be repaired. and got it back and it worked great. Then at the 3 yr 2 month point it something broke internally.

The motor runs, but it does not vibrate/oscillate. I assume the shaft to the motor broke. but it could be anything in there. Unfortunately, it is past warranty. by 2 months. So very disappointed. Should I by another dewalt? I am very reluctant.

But I need an oscillating tool.

I really like this ratcheting driver. I’m a low voltage AV technician and I like it much more then other drivers I’ve had. I have to turn a lot of screws in an average day and ratcheting really helps with fatigue.

However most ratcheting drivers use standard bits that are shorter and that poses a problem getting to terminal screws in some devices I install. I would carry a #2 Phillips with me just for those. This driver has longer bits and now I only have to carry this one driver on me and I can keep the others in my tool box for backups or other uses.

Its comfortable in the hand. It seems very durable but I have demolition drivers for beating stuff and prying so this only turns screws. I like the way the bits are stored. I don’t have to hear the bits jingling around when I turn it like some other drivers of this type.

All in all I’m very happy. It’s well designed. I would say the switch for changing the direction of the ratchet is awkward to get used to at first but that’s minimal. I want to try the stubby version now.

I do handyman work around our country club. At first I was happy with the product but the first time I went to change one of the bits I realized how poor the design is to change and store the bit. you have to stick your finger and put down.

But I do owe owe this screwdriver from getting a serious injury. I was changing the setting on a water heater without flipping the circuit breaker. Managed to hit a live wire. Huge spark shot out and ate the tip off the slotted end and took a good chunk out of the length of the metal end.

Didn’t feel a thing do to the plastic handle. By the way can you buy a replacement small slot bit to replace the one i ruined?.

I regret this purchase immensely. I was fooled by the Milwaukee name, they have many good tools but this isn’t one of them. The bits are extremely difficult to remove, they don’t slide through from one end to the other like a picquic.

You have to force the bits down by pressing on the bit, so you need a tool or your hands will bleed. Then, you can only make the bit emerge less than an inch, so you need a ton of force to finish pulling the bit out.

Terrible design. But the bits themselves and the ratchet feature work well.

This is the old version, the new version (which has higher capacity batteries, a larger chuck and a battery level indicator) costs $250 for the kit without the right angle adapter and $300 for the kit with the right angle adapter, which includes shipping, but everything is quite expensive these days and if you want something decent you have to pay a lot for it, although I certainly wouldn’t pay even more than retail, nor would I pay even half as much for this older version if it were new, and far less used.

However, I was quite surprised by how powerful this drill is and how long it runs on a charge, it’s built very well. It’s more powerful and longer running than my last BIG Dewalt drill. It’s made in Germany, the charger is made in Germany, the batteries are made in Hungary, so it’s all made in Europe.

Although Festool has some products which are made in china, which is very annoying, they used to be entirely European but they seem to be going in a bad direction.

Its as near to perfect as I want, quality costs so I swallow the price ticket. Its is a joy to use, light, well balanced, comfortable and a beautifully smooth and progressive speed control. It may be only 10.

8v but there is plenty of power for most projects. I gave it 5 stars for value. because in my opinion it is so far in front of the rest of the drill drivers it warrants the cost. A. drill/driver to treasure.

I bought mine about a year ago, having previously baulked at the price of Festool equipment. This is a great drill/driver. light and well balanced and so easy to change from screwdriver bit to drill bit etc.

etc. Speed control is very precise and the LED light really does help to see the work. The 90 degree adapter has proved more helpful than I had imagined, for working in tight spaces. The quality is superb and the battery lasts well and recharges quickly.

I’m absolutely delighted with this equipment and heartily recommend it. Since buying this, my first Festool tool, I have gone on to buy a track saw, a jig saw, a mitre saw a Domino machine and other Festool bits and pieces.

I am completely sold on the quality and accuracy of Festool equipment. Although they are really expensive, they do pay for themselves in making the task quicker, easier and more accurate.

Mir ist aber von meinen gesamten Picard Hmmern bisher nie einer kaputt gegangen. Wenn wurden sie durch Verschlei abgelegt oder eben leider verloren/geklaut auf der Baustelle! Also echt top Produkt!.
