I purchased to keep my parts for my 3D ptinters in, they are superb quality and really well made. Good solid construction the kids and trays are a perfect fit.

My first impressions were these cases are flimsy. However, it has survived two weeks of being banged around and shows no signs of wear. The lid still closes precisely as when I bought it. I do like the uniformity of appearance that comes with my tools stored in a stack of these modular cases.

As much as I hate to admit, a good first impression can put to rest any doubt a client has about my workmanship. Showing up sloppy and disorganized only encourages nitpicking and complaining. Personally, I like the DeWalt Tstak boxes better but the Makita has a cleaner, symmetrical appearance that impresses customers more.

Not sure why but they do.

I had just replaced all of my battery operated tools with Makita tools. The cloth bag on wheels was nice but not acceptable. There was nothing protecting the tools but a piece of cloth. These new tool boxes are perfect! They are so nice, I purchased 4 of them.

The XL works great for saws and bigger things, the medium for drills, and the Large for everything else. Now all my Makita tools are protected and easy to lift or I can clip them together easily and move them with a dolly.

Storage space is also great since they stack and will not slide off each other. I may get more for my other tools.

I love the foot print of these bins. I would recommend these for anyone trying to organize lots of tools. They are priced well, and they compatible with Festool bins. I own several brands of modular bins, I prefer Makita for our nicer tools that I don’t want crammed in with other tools in the big bins.

Small size leads to less clutter.

I recently bought the tough system 2. 0 stacking toolbox set from HD and love it but needed something to better organize drill bits and fasteners. If you have dewalt drill bits with the interlocking cases they fit nice and snug in this box if you take a Couple trays out.

The other great thing is even if you remove some of the trays nothing will spill out because the lid locks them all into place. So far appears to be a weather tight seal, no rust on anything yet! I will say that ordering from do it best and using ship to store was a little different but I’m glad I did it.

When I went to the Lumber yard I had it shipped to, the guys had no idea it had came in, what it was for, whether or not it was paid for, but there it sat at the front desk. No big deal and it was smooth and easy but it could have been very easy for something to go south, I think do it best needs to audit their order tracking system and notify stores when they have a customer pickup being shipped to them.

I started out conservative, bought one to test how tough the ToughStystem was. I liked that if the box was left in back of truck at the end of the day, things inside “shouldn’t” get wet. That was a nice feature that I was hoping would pan out.

But now over 30 boxes later, they take some abuse that i figured would have had them broken by now. After the first box last with my using it as a shim to hold heavy cast iron pipes up in the back of truck day in and day out.

I figured that they were at least worth their money. If the boxes lasted me a couple years and then started to crack and break, still worth the money. We are over 4 years in and still going strong. We find uses for the boxes that would never have entered my mind.

We use the tall boxes for oxy/acetylene torch gauges, hose, and torch. We use the medium size ones for hand tools on the jobs. We use the clear lid organizers for screws, anchoring hardware, misc. brass fittings, and various other hardwares.

We use the shortest ones for different functions, tools for some employees, parts for others, and maybe snacks for even another. The DeWalt ToughSystem has proven, once again for DeWalt, that it exceeds the expectations of this consumer.

I like the clear lid to help me find my parts faster. And also the fact it goes on the wall rack and can rack. I don’t like having to install several organizes just to get to my parts. This is what make dewalt better than Milwaukee.

This set has been my buddy for the past six years. As a full time gigging musician (solo or full band), DJ, Sound Engineer, and Event provider based in California. All my special gadgets (mics, lights controller, cables, small mixer, Ipads, etc.

), with foam inserts, survived from dust, moisture, and bumps on the road. They are built like a tank, and the simple but durable stacking mechanism proved better than the competition. Not a single failure experienced (connector).

And did I say it looks great too for us in Entertainment Business? Everytime I go to a gig, nobody mistook me as a handyman, but praises from clients and vendors (videograpers/photograpers,caterers) as well, as it blends with the rest of my hardcases.

Well, I am now trying to reconfigure the system, especially with my age. Hope there will be a drawer option to fit this set, which is the most practical solution for stacked units. It will save me time and effort from unstacking and restacking during gigs.

Additional add on would be a dolly cart (with handle or or none) to fit the system, so we have an option not to use bottom unit with wheels. Just stack all drawers over it (dolly) and that would be perfect.

No more unstacking and restacking completely. Other brands have these options already but I want to hold on to my ridgid system because of its simplicity (stacking mechanism), durability, and appearance.

I have used my Ridgid tool box for the last five months and i really like the versatility of it. The only issue i have is the button to depress the handle is in the middle of the handle and i almost always depress it by accident.

Now one of the locking pins is broken. If you can install a cover over the handle button, it would lessen the chance of breaking the locking pins. And the padlock hole is made of the same plastic as the body.

I have had the release handle rub on the padlock hole everytime i open the lid. It would be better if it was made of metal so it doesn’t wear out to fast as the padlock hole in my tool box feels like its going to break soon.

I went to Home Depot looking for a new tool bag. I didn’t get my tool bag but came home with an awesome Ridgid tool storage system! I started looking at the smaller storage box, then saw how all the pieces of the system can stack and interlock in place and ended up buying the whole set.

I may not even use it as a tool box because I realized it’s a great storage system for my gun cleaning supplies, gun parts, commo gear, first aid gear, etc. Now I can load up all my stuff in separate boxes that stack, are fairly well sealed from the elements, and rodent proof! Also, allows me to clear off some of the shelves where I was storing this stuff before.

And best of all, it has a built in dolly so I can move everything around when I need to. Less expensive than some of the gun boxes I was looking at and sturdier too. I especially like being able to load everything in the boxes, stack them, and use the long metal bar to lock the whole system securely.

I highly recommend this system for gun enthusiasts that have a lot of range gear to store or even for “preppers” looking for a good alternative to foot lockers for storage. I’m probably going to go back and get another whole system for other stuff I still have on my shelving unit.

Now I can move some stuff to my shed and not worry about mice chewing through the case.

I used to have my dewalt cordless drill and impact driver with all my batteries, charger, spade bits, twist drill bits, extensions, right angle attachment, step drill, and impact driver bits in the tool bag the set.

I purchased this to get and the larger box for a little more organization. Love the idea of the lift top for all the loose attachments, unfortunately it doesn’t have a section big enough for a standard 12” extension or long twist bit, miss it by an inch.

Other than that it’s a much better system then the old bag especially when I need to toss material on top cause there is no better spot. Couple that with it stacks with other TSTAK units makes it a sound investment to me.

This is a great toolbox. I ordered two of them. The main storage compartment is nice and roomy for drills and other small battery operated tools. The upper compartments are great for organizing different size screws or whatever you might need to organize.

Its tough and has two very well built calapsable handles. One on top of the case and one on the front. Great design. I deffinatly recamend it.

I started researching toolboxes. I’ve never been a fan of Dewalt but they definitely come out on top for stackable toolboxes. The Tstak is perfect for me at 17″ wide and 13″ deep. Understand this one is only a “top” box hence the big handle and no locking tabs.

If I was younger and/or was taking toolboxes to a jobsite I would absolutely recommend getting the Tough System instead. Larger and tougher. But these are a nice size and very well built. Should last many years.

My boyfriend had tools everywhere and when I need a tool I had to ask him where it is in the basement because it’s scattered everywhere. I saw this and bought it, it was the perfect size! you can fit a regular hammer on the bottom and love the top tray where you could put screwdrivers! I was able to fit everything I needed inside and now I no longer need to ask where a tool is if I need it.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a toolbox! It’s sturdy and quality is really good!.

Disappointed this has a Stanley label. low quality. Closing latch IS NOT metal as shown in some pictures. it is the yellow plastic. I got it on sale. 50% off. they were NEVER worth $20. Great Value would have been a better brand name.

This is a great product for someone who is starting off with just the basic tools. I love it and I bought them as gifts for my sons. Since they have cars now and started getting tools to work on their cars this was a great product for them.

I like the little compartments on the top for little stuff like screws, nails, fuses whatever. The little tray that comes out is very handy too for maybe just the basic stuff you need. And then all the bigger stuff can go in the bottom.

I also like the little lock feature on the box. Overall it’s a great durable product. Wish I bought one for myself but I want a purple one with purple tools.

I love this box – I have 8! My tools are my babies! For the ones I use infrequently – 90 degree drill/driver, grinder, oscillator, etc – I purchased a TSTAK for each and the inner foam and cut it to fit like a glove! I even did it for my favorite 45 auto hand gun – makes a great box for small firearms!.

This review is for the DeWalt DWST17807 TSTAK II – Flat Top Box. Its part of the DeWalt stacking system. I dont use it as a stacking tool box , but as a sturdy box to hold two Makita 18volt 5″ grinders with extra cut off wheels, wire wheels and grinding wheels.

It all fits nicely and keeps my investment safe and sound. Too bad Makita doesn’t make boxes this durable.

This is the best designed and built TSTAK case I own. The drawers glide on their runners. There’s no flex and the whole thing feels solid and sturdy. It makes the TSTAK clipboard look really shoddy. The drawer releases are easy to use when wearing gloves and the drawers lock closed with a reassuring click.

It really is top drawer stuff (arf arf), I’m impressed. The internal dimension of each drawer are quoted as L 347mm D 254mm H 45mm (DeWalt’s main web site). Screwfix quote the external case height as 162mm.

Each drawer comes pre-fitted with a lattice of 4 strips (2 portrait, 2 landscape). These secure into the drawer sides in the same way the Stanley Sortmaster dividers do. That provides 9 small compartments per drawer as standard.

The strips are designed to be removed. So to create bigger storage sections, remove any of the 4 strips. It’s simple, easy to understand, easy to use. A tried and tested solution that offers a great deal of flexibility.

This is of course reversible. DeWalt’s UK web site claims this has “Removable covered cups for organisation of small parts & accessories”. No it doesn’t – that’s the single deep drawer unit. There’s one handle, a folding top one.

A front one would be a bad idea for this and its omission also optimises available drawer space. This is easy to transport clipped to any TSTAK II drill / driver case and will of course clip onto any TSTAK mobile solution.

I bought this at the full Screwfix price and am not disappointed – it gets a full 5 stars for value. My drill and screwdriver bits are now organised. All the special non-standard sized bits are in their own dedicated place and I can find them! The small drilling tools, the specialist bit holders and the Forstner bits I use regularly are in their own place too.

Was greatly looking forward to this DeWalt drawer unit. But felt a bit disappointed in use If you keep the drawer unit perfectly level it’s fine. But in the real world it fails If it gets knocked over or you attach it to another t-stack box with the handle on the front and not the top ( like my drill box ) Then the contents get very easily spilled out or mixed up.

Purchased a Stanley sortmaster storage box when it was on offer and it’s great. Turn it upside down or throw it off the roof and the contents stay in the individual compartments and it’s also stackable.

It’s been relegated to the garden shed.

I buy DeWalt products and so far they have been excellent. I might say this is my only slight negative review on anything I have purchased. I have a full TSTAK system with extra boxes with other tools, such as sander, jigsaw, circular saw all DeWalt.

I purchased this for screws and the DeWalt drill pack as it fits in one of the draws. All great until I started wheeling it about and the loose screws falling down the back of the draws and also mixing in the compartments.

This has caused the draws to jam multiple times and in the end I had to remove the draws[sadly not quick release] clean the whole draw system and reload. I now have the screws in the bottom draw and I am trying to figure out a system to keep them in place.

I have the clear lid DeWalt draw organiser also[I don’t think Screwfix sell it] and that is perfect so no compartment has cross over of stuff by its design. As I said DeWalt have been fantastic and the TSTAK is perfect for the ability to swap over boxes.

The screwfix video even mentions them being used for screws etc and being carried on the Trolley.

Following a lockdown garage clear out I found myself with a pile of half used boxes of screws and multiple other items. Some of these were duplicates where it was easier to go to Screwfix and buy another packet than find the old one in the garage! I bought three of these and four of their bigger brother and now have a well sorted, visible, transportable and easily accessible collection of ‘stuff’ I took this route after considering bins and other alternatives.

The product is good quality (possibly not as tough as the Dewault alternative, but a LOT cheaper). Perfect for DIY use. I particularly like the locking mechanism which helps avoid the issue of picking the case up only to have the contents fall on the floor because you haven’t locked 5h3 lid properly.

A really useful small storage case which offers robust but flexible storage / organisation for screws, small tools, hobbyist bits, and in my case, accessible storage for my camera + video accessories.

I particularly like that 2 or more fit and lock together (which I would have missed, had the assistant not pointed it out to me !). Very competitively priced too.

I purchased these boxes as an addition to my two larger boxes of the same type. These also lock together securely and each box has its own four point locking system. They are perfect for stowing in the van or car without worrying if they open.

Excellent size for small to medium fixings. Strong construction and ideal partner to the larger boxes. Perfect job site or home carry along.

Very well made! If you’re going to use it for say sewing supplies, first aid kit or something similar it would be great but as a true tool box I found it very disappointing! In the biggest section it has movable dividers which sounds good but unless you remove them there’s no room for your hammer, screwdrivers or wrenches let alone adding your drill! It provides a number spaces for smaller items but because of the shallowness of these sections you’re limited as to what will fit in these compartments because the lid can’t close thus not allowing you to attach the top layer of the tool box! Since I need it for my tools I am having to return it! I’m going to try the 5 gallon tool organizer with tons of pockets plus room in the center of the bucket for larger items.

There’s a nice one also sold by Walmart! Hope this one works better!.

I own 2 of these and have used them for 2 years and nothing has broken yet. I have no problem with any latches falling open, unless I fail to ensure they are secure as another reviewer mentioned. I rate them with highest regard because of durability of plastics (entirely plastic) and versatility.

The upper section is large and can fit many things. It also has smaller flip open compartments on the lid (which can be completely removed). The lower section has a clear, hinged lid and many compartments for sorting smaller items.

This is a really handy product, well worth the price!.

I like how you can create your own pockets and make them bigger or smaller. I also bought an extra tray that fits under the existing tray so now I have more room. If you litterally wanted to keep adding trays, you could! But, it would get heavy and tall.

I managed to fit ALL my tools from different tool sets into this. I may buy another one for the trunk of my car to put emergency supplies and First-Aid kits. It has an abundance of drawers. On the very top, I keep my superglue and gift wrapping tape.

I really like this setup. I would recommend it for people who can carry around 30 pounds of weight. Any more and I’m afraid the handle might break or snap off. You can make it as light or as heavy as you want based on what you put in it.

Use this every day. The box is strong and sturdy, the clear lid is excellent and can take a pounding, I committed to the DeWalt Tough System through out my set up and very glad I did , it all works seamlessly.

There is plenty of space, the box is designed to go to work which is imperative, with the capacity comes the weight where the sturdy rugged handle is a god send ! Great box I have two of them !.

Very strong, looks smart for a screw box when connected to other tough system two box’s. So I highly recommend this product.alot better than the t-stack version.

Very happy with this case. It’s a very sturdy replacement for a Stanley organiser case to put all my wall plugs, ready drivers and others assorted fixings in. I’m considering getting a second one for my screws.

My only gripe would be the lack of organiser options but I can get over that with freecad and some 3d printing. Overall worth the money.

I bought this organizer pretty long ago and considered a lot whether I need that for pretty high price and comparably simple box. Funny but I like much of everything how this clicking with locks when closing everything or opening to extract a tool.

Inсredible feeling every time I’m taking it from the shelf, doing that opening routine and when closing (and it locks everything reliably). A note – if you put too much tools in the middle section it mignt not closing properly but one figure out that and avoid put there too much or higher of the bottom height.

I was looking for a toolbox that can hold my big tools and my small tools. Not only hold them but keep them organized. This box does all of that and lot’s more. I took two toolboxes full of tools and put them all in this one box, with every single tool has it’s place and a place for every single tool.

Really an excellent tool storage solution. Did I mention it is easy to open and close, easy to carry, Easy to see where you have this and that. I can’t find any flaws really, except it will immediately make you want to buy a second one and to buy the tools to fill it!!!.

I bought it as a gift to my son. He was very happy. Now he will be able to collect all their home instruments in one place. No need to remember where everything is, just open the super tool box and to get what he wants.

Also, a lot of space for different hardware, it is what you need for the handyman. Yet it is durable enough to be used for a long time. So, wives, sisters and girlfriends, I recommend to buy this tool box for your tough guys.

This Systainer is handy for storing (and toting) an array of smaller hand tools, like chisels, hand planes, dovetail saws, etc. It comes with a plywood insert that pulls out of the Systainer to allow for easy access to interior storage space.

There’s a tiny drawer for holding small odds and ends as well. Perhaps the only drawback is that (IMHO) the insert benefits from a larger Systainer box, which adds additional ‘headroom’ for taller objects.

I swapped out one of my larger tool Systainers to host the insert. Overall, I must say I’m satisfied with the convenience of the organizer as it stacks confidently with my other Festool Systainer boxes.

My workspace is incredibly small and additions like this make a world of difference.

Not cheap as toolboxes / bags go, but I’ve never been so organised! Great to see everything at a glance. Took some time to work out what sits best where, but now I’ve done it and have been using it for a couple of weeks, wish I’d had this sort of thing years ago; I must be saving a significant amount of time each week.

Women need tools too! I got this to put all my tools, screws, nails, and so many other things you would keep in your toolbox. It is perfect. Has so many different compartments and you can adjust size to fit needed items.

Locks securely, lightweight and well worth every penny. It was priced well but I would have paid more. Highly recommend these organizers made by Stalwart. I am so happy with my purchase.

Perfect size for the novice handy woman. If I had any more tools it’d be too small but with renting a few apartments and now owning my first home it’s perfect for what I have! And it fits in my kitchen cupboard! *editing this post to add that the clips to keep it closed have already started falling off.

It’s a bit smaller than I expected, but for my jewelry tools and supplies, it’s ideal. The top locks down and is really quite roomy up there. And since the top and bottom open separately I don’t worry about dropping my tools and spilling beads everywhere.

By far the best organizer Ive ever had. So i have 4 of them now. Great feature as they all clip together and make it easy to carry good and durable quality. Recommended! A+

Good, inexpensive tool box for shop/mobile storage. Latch and hinges are adequate. Too early to assess longevity but I’m happy with the price/value. I like these for powertools/accessories over the bags that powertool vendors offer.

This tool box is a lot sturdier than I expected and very roomy. It held all of my tools and I have room for more. I like that it has the compartments on top for nails, screws or whatever you need it for.

Good buy.

I own both the SortMaster organizer and the FatMax organizer from Stanley. The FatMax is ten times better than the SortMaster and definitely worth the additional cost. It’s very well designed, metal hinges and latches that at least appear to last very long.

The case has grooves and the lid has studs to hold the cups in place, so even after I removed two cups, the rest of them are firmly held in place. It’s also very well built, everywhere. I don’t see any uneven edges commonly found on plastic parts.

The structures are very sturdy, resistant to bending and twisting. The lid closes with tight tolerances. The surface textures also feel great. Mine is made in Israel. Though not useful to me, an inner seal around its lid makes this box watertight.

The only downside is its weight. A more solid built makes it feel heavy to be carried around. Another thing I don’t like is the metal latches are too tight on their hinges and don’t flip up and down easily (the latches hold the lid tightly, but they are hard to operate).

I bought this 2 years ago for work and they are awesome I only bought 2 at the start as I wanted to see how well they would hold up bouncing around dirt rounds in my truck. They are still solid and working great! Looking to buy more but having trouble finding them.

Well made, with plenty of room for small parts. For longer items internal partition bins can be removed, but then the others tend to slide around when box is open, though there are tabs to hold them when closed.

But it would be nice if longer bins were available, or I may just cut between a couple to suit. Hinged clear cover is thick, appears it will hold up well, and has front and side clips for secure closure and good O-ring seal.

Plus boxes can be stacked and side clips will couple them.

I really like this storage box. It is larger than I expected but that actually worked out for the better. I really like how you can pull out the individual storage bins and take them with you to where you are working, rather than having to take the whole box.

I am also impressed at how well this box is made, it has quality steel latches and a steel hinge, which is important for its longevity and durability of it. Another AWESOME feature is that it’s completely sealed when latched closed, there is a hefty gasket in the lid that keeps water and dirt out, and it works.

I left the box in the back of my truck one night and it ended up raining pretty good. There wasn’t a drop of water inside the box and that is an important feature to have, lol. The box can clip together with other boxes and such to make a modular portable toolbox system, but right now I just have the one box.

I plan on buying more boxes and probably the dolly system that they also offer to make moving it much easier.

My F150 has a Diamondback drop in tool box. These flex stack boxes fit perfect inside of the drop in box. The medium sized box fits by itself and the smaller box, like this compartmentalized “organizer box” fit 2-high.

When combined with the dolly box, you can easily get your tools to the jobsite, or have them available from your truck whenever you need them. The organizer box is very adjustable depending on what your trying to store.

Each compartment can be removed and has removable divider panels. The compartments themselves can be rearranged to a certain extent depending on your needs. This is a great add on box for trades that require a variety of screw sizes and small parts (carpenter, aluminum, plumber, electrician, etc).

I would highly recommend you start with the rolling dolly kit, and add this box on from there.

I was looking for a large, strong, storage bin for storing large quantities of screws and hardware for my DYI projects. The removable internal bins along with the heavy duty carry handle makes this the perfect tote for the job site.

Another bonus is the stack and locking capability when used with additional storage bins. This is a well thought out and strong product, highly recommended.
