20 Best Tool Belts For Electricians (2023 Updated)

Some people are complaining that this belt is too small. (Maybe you got too big). I bought this same belt (5202M) 14 years ago and this new belt is a little shorter because THIS BELT WILL STRETCH LIKE ALL LEATHER BELTS! I wear a 34″ inch jeans and this belt fits over them with the tool pouch at the second hole from the end.

But if you wear a 36 inch jeans I would buy a large. My real waist size is probably a 32″ 33″. I almost bought the large belt because of some people were saying ” its too small, its too small”. I’m glad I listened to myself and bought this one.

Not sure why they call this “lightweight”. This nylon webbing is stronger than any leather belt that you would use. You could use this belt to tow your truck out of the mud with another truck in a pinch.

It is plenty long enough that you can be a REALLY big guy and it will still fit around your gut with plenty of tool pouches attached. I have a 34″ waist and I cut off about 10 inches of it with a few inches left in place in case of beer-induced expansion of my middle in future years.

Buckle is very strong plastic typical of what you would find on any quality messenger bag or back pack, etc. Strong snaps. Standard width belt to accept standard tool pouches, hammer holsters etc. Recommended.

This is a great natural leather belt for the price. It runs a bit long however and the holes are only every 2 inches. I had to punch additional holes in this belt for optimum fit. I also replaced the buckle with another more flat one that I had.

This is easy to do since this belt has snaps that can just unsnap to replace the buckle. If you’re looking for a quality natural leather belt that will only get better and better as it ages and takes on a character of it’s one, I can recommend this one.

It looks great with jeans or work pants, and is the perfect width (1. 5 inches). The price is great as well!.

Great tool belt! Nice pockets for all areas of construction and electrical. You can arrange the pouches any way. The only issue ( but it’s a problem with bigger or built men ) I’m 6’6 and 280 not fat lol.

So broad men. The waist for the velcro belt is not usable for a belt. You can only use the main belt. The velcro will bunch up under and be pain in the a$$. So you can purchase and velcro belt and replace it or harbor freight can upgrade it charge more and it will be a 💯.

Overall it good. Same at other stores would be 65 plus.

Got this belt for a shed roofing project. I liked that I could take off the pockets I didn’t need and that I could position them where I wanted. I did remove the padded belt part with the velcro because I wanted to switch the pocket to one side or another depending on where on the roof I was.

Even without the padded part the belt was comfortable although I only had a hammer, tape measure and nails in it. I haven’t used it extensively but was very happy with how it worked out. It seems solidly made and there is even a drill holster available which I will likely pick up at some point.

Again, my favorite part is how easy it is to customize according to what I am doing. It even has suspender straps if you prefer that option. Overall a great value. Like getting multiple belts in one.

I only have one minor complaint. The belt is extremely long. I have a 32″waist and had it cinched up so much that the end of the belt was clear around my back. I used one of the suspender straps to secure it otherwise it would have been flopping around and getting in the way.

I might cut it off at some point but for now the strap seems to keep it out of the way.

Bought this belt for a summer house build project. Between concrete, framing, plumbing, and electrical this set of bags suited me well enough without too, too much frustration. I am a skinny person, so granted these didn’t fit my size 30 waist the greatest, but there were plenty of pockets for anything I needed, and the ability to remove some of the pouches when not needed was great.

By the end of the third house for the summer, the bags were beginning to wear to the point that some of the pouches were wearing through at the bottom, but the purpose was well worth the cost. A lot of abuse was dealt through the summer getting heavy use every day for many hours each day.

I bought this for my husband, he loves it, has many many pockets so he doesn’t have to go up and down the ladder 100 times, you can adjust the waste so you can make it very tight so it doesn’t slip down constantly.

This is a Christmas gift for my son in law. It looks great. After he opens it I can rate it properly.

What an absolute time saver. After moving my tools around to different pockets in this pouch whilst working, I eventually got to the best suited positions, which you only find out after using it. My jobs are faster, looks very good on the job and very easy to place the tools back to their dedicated pockets.

Occasionally I use the flashlight holder as a hammer loop works perfectly. FFX was the cheapest I could find anywhere. Speedy delivery too. Thank you very much.

Such a great pouch for a tradesman who needs an ability to get in and out of a job with the basic tools, particularly electrical or HVAC workers. The tape measure, electrical tape chain, and the sturdy construction with good materials used in this bag is absolutely fantastic.

Bundle this with the tool belt and multimeter pouch and you can use about work hands free when on a quick service call. The price tag makes it truly a great value for money item to have in your workshop.

The downside, after few months of use, the clip that allows you to latch it to your belt clip or the wall clips fails to latch into place. Nothing worst then your tool pouch full of tools falling off your belt as you climb up a ladder, crossing the road or walking in a clients home with new tile / timber floors and your tools are spread all over the floor.

Second downside is with the stand, once again, after a few months it starts to loose its lustre, particularly around the edges where the pouch tends to topple over. Failed latch makes it difficult to work with, knowing it can fall off your belt at any time.

Failed stand makes it difficult to work with when you have to constantly pick up tools or hold the bag to stop it from falling over. Great value product, but has a long way to go.

I have had the pouch for approximately a month and use it for doing Auto Electrics on vehicles. It holds the following tools: Cutters, Pliers, Strippers, Screwdrivers, Tape Measure, Utility Knife, Centre Punch, Allen Keys and a range of Ratchet Spanners.

I have found it great on the padded belt and also with the shoulder harness. When the pouch is off the harness it sits really solidly using the inbuilt support. Highly recommended.

I am i. Low voltage field. Carry the everyday tools as well As Toner for wire , cat 6 tools and fluke toner screwdrivers and such. Nothing crazy tape measure already gone within 4th week. The pouches i thoight would be rigid but they’re not.

They fold over which is the primary reason i bought this one. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a Milwaukee fan i have almost every tool m12/m18 doubles for two vans. Have over 60 packout case and every other packout device.

This is my first disappointment.

I love Milwaukee tools but I am not impressed with this belt. The belt looks good and is comfy but it has some flaws. First off, it dosen’t stand up as advertised when the pockets are weighed down with tools.

One side always folds and tips over. The belt itself is too large to fit a 32″ waist or smaller. It is awkward to use the carry handles due to the fact that the belt runs through them taking up most of the space for your hand.

There is not alot of space to fit all your everyday tools aswell as some hardware. A couple more spaces for screwdrivers, more space for bits, and another pocket for hardware would all be handy. After one month of daily use as a resedential/service electrician, one of the rivits holding the pouch together broke off.

After this I tried to return the pouch but could not because I didn’t keep the receipt. So now I have a one month old pouch that is already broken.

I love this tool belt. I purchased the suspension system with it and am happy with the whole set up. The reason for 4 stars is that Milwaukee doesn’t make a drill holster other than the M12 holster. As an electrician I use my drill as much if not more than any other tool.

With this belt I have no way to holster a drill so it’s always awkward and I end up using my old (not Milwaukee) tool belt. When will Milwaukee come out with a holster for this belt that fits a full size M18 drill??.

I agonized for weeks about the decision between these and the ultimates. For me, I preferred having a little more of an open pouch design on my dominant side. The professionals did just that. They have the perfect blend of organization and bigger bulk storage on your tool side.

This space is great for those times when you have an odd sized tool like a stud finder or protractor. You can even toss some wire connectors down there for doing makeup. Fair play that it gets a little snug when wearing gloves though.

The tool loops inside the main pouch do a great job of holding a variety of tools, so if you prefer to hold your screw and nutdrivers in there, or if you prefer to hold your pliers there by the handles then you can do that as well.

The outer pockets hold strippers, lineman’s pliers, diagonal cutters, and needle nose pliers equally well. The outer slots are a perfect fit for most single function screwdrivers, but are a little snug for insulated or multi bit drivers.

I love the dedicated inner pockets for the utility knife and pencil (or permanent marker), but they’re versatile enough to be used by other similar sized items. I find that my work style suits having a utility knife and pencil with me at all times, and the placement of these items is right where I want them.

The large inner pocket is perfect for lineman’s pliers or multi function pliers and the big pocket it lives in has enough space to provide a quick landing pad for odds and ends. The seven tool pouch is a great balance between tool storage and material storage.

The inner pockets on the main pouch are exactly where I prefer to hold my torpedo level and folding ruler. They’re a great size for tongue and groove pliers if you run a lot of conduit and like to have a set on either side.

The pockets are roomy and easy to access. The outer pockets have some folded material that can conceal smaller wire connectors and screws from time to time, especially with gloves, but otherwise still very functional.

The tool slots on the outside hold cable jacket strippers and other shorter tools as well. The tape clip is in a great spot and the belt is very comfortable. I opted for the the leather tipped, medium, and I’m using the last hole.

I’m a 32″ waist for size comparison. The hammer holder is strong and light. I moved it to the left of center position, which opened up a spot on my right side to hang an impact driver from. The belts supports it without issue and balances nicely.

If you’re like me, and your work style is more about carrying only a few tools at a time, but with a wider variety, and you find that you prefer a little bit of bulk storage space on both sides then the professionals are a great choice.

The fact that they don’t hold as many tools is actually a good thing as it prevents you from carrying your whole tool box or tote on your hips. I have occidentals, CLCs, and a shelf of mixed styles of huskies, and these by far are my favorite.

The handles on the belt are a feature I have been missing in my other sets and the belt itself is wide, comfortable, and offers some good support for your lower back. It’s nice and wide and distributes the weight very nicely.

I opted to omit the suspenders as I work overhead most of the time. Keeping my load light and slick is how I like to work and these fit my style perfectly. My son in laws very slender brother was visiting and asked my recommendation on a tool belt which would give his back and pants waist band relief. I called my electrician and asked him, he said to call CED in Nampa, Idaho.

They recommended the Boulder tool belt in a small, which they did not have in stock. I got onto Boulder’s website and ordered the Boulder Bag Ultimate Electrician MAX Comfort Combo Tool Belt and sent it to the young mans house as a surprise.

I love the bags. The color is perfect and I’m able to carry my tools and all the screws, wire nuts and straps I need all at once. My only issue is I cannot use the padding with the belt that was sent because it isn’t long enough.

Without the padding the belt works great. I guess I will just have to find a longer belt so I can use the padding.

This belt was in the top 5 from reviews that I read. I needed a new belt with suspenders, I purchased the suspenders additionaly and noticed a significant difference on my lower back the first day I wore the belt.

So far very sturdy and organizes tools well. Pockets for parts are a little small but I usually overload anyway so I like that it forces me to reduce the load. Good buy for the money.

Good design, comfortable Head and shoulders above a standard belt buckle design, not ideal for threading on looped accessories but ideal coupled with the diamondback bags. The bags do not move due to the overlapping Velcro system (very good).

Adjustment is easy and will not slacken due to the locking buckle. Comfortable and well made product.

Awesome belt! I went for the 6” belt as I suffer with lower back pain and wanted the extra support and man I wasn’t disappointed, This thing is like a warm hug all day long I love it! I’ve had my diamondback pouches for a while now but was running them on a generic cheaper belt and man that was an ERROR! I can’t believe how much more comfortable this is even when loaded up with fixings and drills, it’s worth every penny, don’t hesitate just buy it.

Diamondback belt Great belt and works really well with my DB eagle pouch and wingman. Had some reservations about price but over the years it will be well worth the money. Comfortable and light for my needs building roofs, great service again from TF tools.

Pouch works very well on my toolbelt. I have all my standard electrical hand tools in it and often wear only this pouch on my belt and take the other pouch, hammer loop and suspenders off for ease of mobility.

Lots of room and many pockets. The belt loop holds the weight of all my tools. The only issue is that it tilts over when placed on the ground, though with my hammer that rarely happens. Only other thing I would want would be a built in belt.

Made from strong, hard wearing materials. Larger in person than in the illustration, giving great storage space for plenty of hand tools for either first or second fix. Milwaukee in my experience produce good quality tools and accessories, this looks like a good addition to my toolkit.

i use these for work,plenty of pockets for all my tools and everything else i need. just hope they keep selling these bags do to my next choice in bags costs over 200. 00. the suspender are great for taking the load off my back and waist.

Large pockets, movable…well made. Alot of thought went into the design of this belt. Holds all of the essential tools with room for nails too.

The Klein tool belt #5225 is a good quality tool belt. It holds the pouches well and stays put. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs one. The ‘buckle’ in the front is strong and easy to do and undo.

I can’t really think of anything negative to say about it. It’s also nice and thin so it’s not uncomfortable.

I wear my tool pouch nearly every day at work. I needed a replacement for my old, worn out belt, and this is a very good replacement. Easy to buckle/unbuckle, fully adjustable, comfortable to wear. If you need a replacement, or just a good quality belt for your new tool pouch, I would highly recommend this one.

I bought several belts similar with the plastic clips that break. This one is unbreakable and mates very tight with no sack. I think it will last me a while. Holding up good so far 3 months
