20 Best Tool Bag With Wheels (2023 Updated)

I bought this bag less than a year ago. Right from the beginning, the telescoping handle would jam halfway up, and it often took multiple attempts to reach the full height. I also realized pretty quickly that these telescoping arms were really under-engineered, and that they simply couldn’t handle the added weight of my tools! Consequently, they got looser and looser, jamming constantly both while trying to extend the handle, and trying to collapse it.

The handle itself finally broke off completely two weeks ago. Because I cannot be without a mobile tool bag, I have already replaced it with another brand, having never been happy with this DeWalt product in the first place.

And DeWalt, of course, did not stand behind its product. Avoid.

Awesome tote. A lot of space for essentials tools for my job. The pockets in side and out are helpful to organize and manage my tools. Also, the wheels makes it easier to haul around all the time, Thank you.

This rolling tool bag is so sturdy my husband just loves it. he no longer hurts his back carrying his tool bag around.

I use this tote for my house calls in my hair dressing business! It makes my life a lot easier with the wheels! Very speedy arrival and it is very sturdy! This is the third one I have purchased! One was a gift for my friends sons birthday and my other one is used for house cleaning products and rags for cleaning houses! I love these wheeled totes!.

This tool bag works very well. I have had one of these for about 4 years and it is still in good condition. It rolls well on most surfaces. The bag can be used as a dolly as well.

Excellent purchase. I have initially thought it was a little pricey but the quality is EXCEPTIONAL! I only expected the rolling tool carrier but there was also a smaller bag inside which will be great to hold my drill and drill bits.

I bought my first bag two years ago and the plastic legs under the bag broke. Klien had a lifetime warranty then. They have changed the warranty since then. No more lifetime warranty, I think I can figure out why.

I sent the first bag back paid shipping it was sent a new bag. Now a year later the same part broke again.

This is a heavy bag. It is more for power tools than hand tools. It could use a couple of stackable storage trays for smaller tools. The compartments on the inside of the bag are a little too deep to tell what tools are in them.

I looked everywhere for a rolling tool bag with pockets and could never find anything! Every other tool bag on wheels are empty on the inside and that doesn’t help someone who uses a lot of tools on the job that require immediate attention.

This bag will replace a 5-gallon bucket from a home improvement retailer. It brings organization to the tools previously just thrown in the bucket. With all of the interior and exterior pockets, the tools that I use most often are withing each reach.

I also house a smaller tote within the bag for those dedicated tasks where just a few tools are needed. With the size of the bag, it is easy to put too much in it, so review your needs before purchasing.

All things considered, this is a much easier way to organize and carry a large group of tools and supplies.

Very sturdy, good-looking, and functional tool bag. So happy with this rolling tool bag, I purchased some for my family as gifts. Needless to say. I’m now their she-ro! The one’s that I purchased for myself, I use one as a garden tool rolling bag, one as a stay-at-home tool bag, and one as a traveling tool bag.

It holds lots of items and so much simpler to organize. It’s a great aid with keeping everything within quick grasp, which especially handy when you’re working solo. My family and I love this bag! Highly recommend.

If you use a bag like this daily or almost daily, get the more expensive one! I bought this because it was WAY cheaper than the alternative (~$30 instead of close to $90) because I’ll only use it for a couple of weeks and not daily.

It doesn’t have a firm shape so it tends to bend and bow when you put tools in the side pockets – sometimes falling out! The handle was 9 inches shorter than the most expensive one – again, if you’ll use it a lot – go with the more expensive and better built model.

All in all this bag kept me from having to make multiple long trips from the truck to the work site but my back hurt when I got there!. I’m 5’10”.

Yeah so after the better part of a year as a daily tool pack, the thing is holding up. Wheels are a little rough but that’s on me because I took them off road at a junkyard. Wasn’t expecting it to fare well after that.

Straps are good. Telescoping handle is good. Worth the money.

Surpasses my expectations. Perfect for my job as I travel a lot. Many slots for tools. So far it withstands the harsh conditions it experiences. It would be even better if the interior had a divider in the center to keep tools even more organized rather than having tools piled on top of one another.

Very satisfied with the bag. I’m a handyman and I can fit all the tools that I need. Very sturdy, wheels are good quality. Would recommend this bag to anyone, thanks

Ideal working in large Hotel , holding all my tools for 99% of jobs inc cordless drill knee pads water bottle ect. Telescopic handle extends well twice so no bending my back. Feels solid , on carpet or tarmac.

Grab handles are strong for picking up too if needed. Made my day easier an excellent buy , deffo recommend.

Extremely well made tool bag as you would expect from this brand name. Easily manoeuvred with strong handles for lifting and carrying when needed. Unfortunately no thought has been given to on site operations, where a shoulder strap would have been useful to carry tools to elevated work areas, when only ladder access is available.

I’m very happy with the tool box on wheels. It makes light work of heavy tools to carry and looks good too.

No joke, this is the best ever. They thought of everything! From the orange contrasting inner lining to the extendable handle and rollers, this bag is great! It is tough and extremely portable. The has latching straps for travel but also has a magnet closure for ease of access.

It is rigid and flat which makes a great table when you’re working. I like to leave the outside pockets empty for the most part because they are useful when you need to momentarily empty your hands but keep tools handy and organized.

In addition, the largest exterior pockets are plenty spacious enough to accommodate drill bit boxes, small laptop or tablet computers, notebooks, etc. The inside of the bag features numerous pockets, which are what I use to transport hand tools.

Even when the pockets are loaded, the inside has enough space to allow for a couple of battery powered tools such as drills, impacts, etc. When loaded too heavily to carry easily by the strap, the extendable handle and wheel system comes in handy.

The rear of the bag has smooth rollers and the front stands up on small legs. That is helpful when you must pack your bag in a wet or dirty location. This bag is definitely a great buy for a tradesman on the go or even someone who just needs storage.

I received this a few weeks back and have already got great use from it. Most of the work I do is in my shop so I don’t have many bags for my tools that are mobile. I did have a project that needed to be done at a relative’s house.

I loaded this bad boy up with various tools I’d need and realized it was loaded down pretty heavy. Nice that the wheels were on this bag to make it so much easier for transport. Bag is very sturdy and was able to handle the load.

A friend of mine that was helping me take on the project was so impressed with it that he ordered one for himself. I tried looking for anything negative about the product but really couldn’t come up with anything.

I really like that this bag is stiff so it keeps it’s rectangular shape vs some other canvas tool bags I have, but stays lighter then solid rolling cases. Having the lid be flat and solid/sturdy is great to be able to use as a surface or just to place another box or bag on when loading/unloading.

My canvas tool cases don’t close flat so things fall off a lot more easily on them. I will say that I wish the lid had a full zipper vs just buckles to keep debris out of it, but so far it seems to be doing well keeping stuff out due to the extended flaps/rim of the lid.

The handle bar and wheels are really smooth, but the wheel well clearance is pretty tight and I have had small pebbles and debris jamb the wheels a few times.

Bought this bag because of its capacity and the fact it can be carried on my back and wheeled around. I don’t use the tool wallet as I have a lot of test equipment, specialist tools, cables, tablet and laptop and just a small selection of screwdrivers and cutters for equipment access and rewiring.

My main gripe is access can be annoying as the tool I want is always at the bottom. The black interior doesn’t help when trying to find them either. After less than a year the interior stitching has torn.

The side pockets are too shallow and unsecure making them useless for anything but a bottle of water which can also fall out. After just a year the tags on the zips have broken off as the metal part is just 2x 1mm thick to allow the rubber moulding to fix.

After a little work hardening from use these just fail. I now have zip ties to pull the zips up. The handle and straps are good and strong though and not yet failed which has been common with other brands and the wheels have taken some abuse although easy to lock up on debris on the floor.

Netting on the back is useless as it is far too week. Mine is torn to shreds Would have liked to see more zip pockets and more robust cargo net on the back. A rigid box version with hinged fold out sections would be better as I could use it as a seat for when I’m using my computer.

I am Stanley fan. I have lots of products from them (at least 100). I had to buy another Fatmax wheeled because on the other one several problems occurred. First the wheels’ axles bent, than pealed the tires off from the wheels.

I was able to pool it on its plastic bottom. Than the handle came off. Then most of the zip handles broke off. But, the zippers themselves did not brake and holds tools together, The material did not brake either and its very strong.

Easy to fold the long pooling handle and now I pool the new one on straight and smooth surfaces only. If that ends, I take it on my shoulder because after all its a rucksack, as well. It works out well for me just need to take better care for it.

Its a little expensive. The wheels need improvement: both the axle and the wheels have to be stronger. The latch (blocking mechanism) that holds the pool handle in place will get loose and come out eventually.

Now I know its weaknesses and the new one I bought lasts very well. I can use the old one as well as a backpack and I am sure it will not brake.

My first instinct with this bag was to stick my 7 month old boy in it, it zips right up to his neck and protects him well, even when I corner fast. Just be careful though as these luggage style bags do have a tendency to flip over.

Using his face as a brake isnt recommended, though it is a well known fact that skin to tarmac does slow you down fast. Anyway, this is a “confused” bag, it is trying to be two things, it has a padded section for a laptop, and right next to that you slip the removable “handbag” for your hammer and screwdriver.

But the padding only comes half way up, so your laptop just gets “half” scratched!. I say it is a “confused bag” because its like it is aimed at a project manager or boss, who does go on site with their laptop, but doesnt really carry tools.

On the other hand it has the removable “tool handbag” (which i LOVE), but it doesnt have enough pockets. on the actual inside of the bag they missed a trick, they could have easily stitched a load of hooks, pockets and clips to hang tools off of, so when you upen it up theyre all easy to find, but they didnt, so all your tools are just lobbed in one on top of the other.

with ‘everything on top but nothing handy’. the “loops” on the outside are just for show too, i dont see many people looking like a happy camper and clipping their kettle on there, let alone walking down the street with a lot of screwdrives, knives, chisels and saws attached the outside and jangling about! all in all the bag is comfy to wear, wheels are good, handy feels sturdy and it can fit a lot in, but it needs a lot more pockets please – if it had them this bag would be a dream.

I was surprised at the roominess of Makitas wheeled duffel tool case. Room enough for my circular saw, drill, impact driver, impact wrench, multi-tool, grinder, 5 18V batteries and charger plus pockets for much more hand tools and accessories.

Its sturdy, of good quality and best yet, its on wheels. Im a handyman by trade skill and this tool bag is just right for my needs.

Baught as gift for a buddy of mine big makita guy. The bag was bigger and better quallity than expected for the price and arrived suprisingly fast. he loves it perfectly fits his tools and cant beat the hide away handle and rolling all of it compared to carrying the bag fully loaded just all around great product and buy i highly recommend this work bag!.

This is a good quality product. Huge bag for a great price! My husband is able to fit all his tools needed for work in one place and not bust his back hauling them around. This bag is well constructed, with a robust carry handle in the centre of the open tote section. The bag has ample storage space for any tools you would need for most tasks. There are some side slots for screwdrivers or spanners, metal brackets for a tape measure and Stanley knife.

In addition to all these features, there is also a multitude of external pouches. The telescopic handle seems sturdy as well. The bag literally has it all. Paired with the Facom laptop bag which slides over the handle, and youre sorted.

Well worth the money in my opinion.

Amazing bag, my second one of these. The first one lasting me 4 years and I really mistreated it. If you’re looking for a bag that can house power tools and test gear like I do, then this is for you!

Love this tool bag, absolutely brilliant. Huge amount of space inside bag for drills etc and loads of compartments inside and out for dividing your tools up. Really well made and hope it lasts a long time.

Wheels along nicely and handle is easy to pop up and down. Buy the laptop bag to go with it and it’s even better, just slips over the handle. It’s definitely sped my working day up as an engineer.

I got this to hold my Rigid cordless tools after using the cheaper roller bag at HFT. This holds a drill, 1/4″ driver, 1/2″ impact, reciprocating saw, jig saw, another drill, an sds drill, two batteries and a charger and closes very easily, not tight.

It rolls easily and seems durable. Good outer pockets too.

I like that the sides are straight and not tapered, I fit a lot of tools in it. The material used is thicker and comparable to the husky bags. The extended handle feels a little loose but has never failed.

The wheels are smaller and I feel like they are less likely to break if overloaded or dropped.

The legs holding the bag upright are made of very cheap plastic. Loaded with tools it bends. So if you leave the bag sitting itll fall over. Definitely not 200 lbs load capacity. Im very disappointed in this bag as it is pretty expensive for the size and I really wanted to like it especially for the 6 inch wheels.

Those I love so the only reason I hate this bag is for the little peg legs that have failed me after literally 2 days. Its not like its loaded down heavy. I have a m18 Milwaukee hackzall drill m12 bandsaw 7 5.

0 batteries and a m12 impact on it and thats it.
