20 Best Toners For Sensitive Skin (2023 Updated)

I am not a big fan of toners and always feel they can be quite harsh on the skin, so never really use them, and after sampling this I think I will be sticking to my original plan. The fact this was advertised as a ‘gentle toner’, made me curious to see if I would notice any difference in my skin.

When I noticed, however, that there is a heavy amount of fragrance in the ingredients list, I am certain it’s not the gentlest of toners. I applied some onto a cotton ball and after cleansing, patted it onto my dry face and upper neck area.

My face did sting slightly around the eye area, but I thought it was the product just settling in. In all honesty after a few uses, I didn’t really notice any difference to my skin, apart from the texture which became slightly drier, certainly not more uniform or tight looking.

If I am paying a bit more for a toner, I would expect to see something positive at least, but this just didn’t cut it for me. I started using avene products about a year ago. I really liked them so I started buying different products. Using a regular toner was too harsh for my skin, so I stopped all together. Until I saw this on the website.

It has great reviews, so I figured I would try it. Best decision for my dry sensitive skin. It makes my skin so soft and much smoother. It does a great job moisturizing my skin, without breakouts. My skin just looks better after using this.

This gentle toning lotion really helps my face with some redness and irritation as well.

i had high hopes for this toner, but i was not impressed. the scent was very overpowering for me. i’m confused because the bottle says it’s formulated for people with sensitive skin, but fragrance is irritating to many people and is not necessary in a formulation.

this didn’t do anything for my skin really. it was hydrating when i put it on, but after it dries my skin feels the same (just with the sweet scent of this product lingering on my face). i did not see any long term affects on my skin.

i know skincare is not a ‘one size fits all’, and that this product may do wonders for other people. just from my personal experience with this product, i would not recommend.

I didn’t regularly use toner before I got this product, but now I definitely will. This toner is definitely calming and refreshing, with a pleasant scent. Other toners I’ve tried were harsh and made my skin dry and irritated, but not this one! It felt tingly on my face but did not dry me out.

I started using this toner during a stress- and mask-induced breakout on the sensitive skin around my mouth, but the toner did not exacerbate the breakout and actually calmed my skin down. When using the product, I poured it onto a washcloth to reduce the waste from cotton balls, and that method worked fine.

I bought this for the first time a couple weeks ago. I cleanse my face every time I shower, and I use toner twice a day. Every time I have used this toner, my face is left feeling tacky. I don’t feel like my skin is being hydrated at all.

It feels like a film is being left on my skin. There are also a lot of seemingly unnecessary ingredients compared to other toners I have used. Why does toner need maltodextrin? The lid is also useless when dispensing product.

There is no control for how much product comes out of the bottle, which I don’t appreciate I normally finish the products I buy, but I will not continue using this product, which is unfortunate.

It is easy to use and does not leave a film or anything on your skin. My son (age 13) also uses it and has really liked it! He plays hockey and thinks it helps with the acne he gets from his helmet/mask.

I would recommend this during this COVID time, as some are getting “maskne” or acne from their mask wearing. This seems to be helping! I have sensitive skin and am very careful with products I use. This one is great!.

Yikes for my redness! I actually had to take my “selfie” 3x because my face looked a little too red. This is supposed to be for sensitive skin and I think it’s a misleading claim. I think the citric acid and perhaps the benzoic acid may be the culprits.

I’ve never had redness with their rosewater toner but at the time they were out of it. I used this because my face just seemed extra oily today, I didn’t realize after a triple cleanse to remove all my makeup last night, I still had residue even after I washed my face this morning! I won’t repurchase but I’ll continue to buy the Rosewater toner.

Fyi I did use a moisturizer but still.

I have used Tomato Toner for 25 years. My daughter had a problem with acne – got her to use it too and her face cleared up. Now you have discontinued our beloved Tomato Toner, so I tried this (I used the other sensitive skin products as well).

I used it one time. It was NOT refreshing. After using Tomato Toner, this stuff made my face feel dirty. Just bought 5 bottles of tomato toner off of Ebay. PLEASE BRING BACK THE TOMATO TONER!!!!!!.

I liked that this toner was very gentle and perfect for sensitive skin, yet there were times where it was not strong enough to remove all the dirt from my face. It took a while to realize that using the toner two times is more effective because of how gentle it is.

My skin is not as sensitive, so it can handle this, yet U think this product will be perfect for more sensitive skin types. The price was also very affordable and the ingredients are a 7. 5/10.

i used this all throughout college and it was the BEST thing ever. i recent switched to cleansing balms because i wanted to try something new and better for travels. PROS: your makeup doesn’t stand a chance against this 1-2 pumps removed all waterproof makeup.

you can have multiple layers caked on and the strongest matte lip or eyeliner — this will take it away clean feeling afterward EVERY time CONS: traveling with this was a nightmare — you cant twist the pump closed without pushing the pump down and letting product out.

ended up putting it in travel containers, but i’m not a fan of doing so it does feel a little bit stripping, but not excessively so. i do have a thorough skincare regime that i follow to bring back moisture, though had a tough battle vs Lancome waterproof mascaras.

i did have to massage my lashes a bit. this does not melt away makeup fast like oil-based cleansers and removers do, so don’t expect that! my reason to switch to balms was because i wanted to do a little less rubbing on my face and have something easier to pack.

however, this is SUCH a solid product! i love it so much and keep some as backup.

For a face cleanser this one is pretty good especially that I can find it online or in my near store for a reasonable price. Compared to other more expensive cleansers that I have used in the past, this Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser actually works the same or even better.

To start I really love the texture of the cleanser. It’s a gel cream consistency to me that is not too heavy so when I go to message my face to clean it, it gives me a nice foamy action to help me out.

I love that while doing this, it doesn’t dry out my face. It actually gives it a nice glow and brightening action when am done. And what is best is that I can use it for every day cleanse but also to remove my makeup.

It is actually a makeup remover and cleanser in one. It even removes my waterproof makeup. What more can we ask for, right. All like I said without drying out my skin. Easy to use and doesn’t sting as well.

My third toner I’ve used over the last few years and currently the only one I’m using. Inexpensive and easily found at drugstores. A great option for a basic toner that does not cause harm to my sensitive skin.

Has a slight scent which I won’t complain it’s refreshing. Alcohol free, tones skin without stripping its natural moisturisers. It is specially formulated to provide clean and hydrated look. Mild formula purifies and gently remove impurities and recondition skin.

My Skin feels fresh and clean-without tightness, dryness or stinging. Good quantity,lasts few weeks or months depending upon usage. Great quality i have seen a-lot of improvement in my skin after using this product.

I’ve been using the PC range, inclusive of the Resist Anti-Aging Toner, for many years, and have always been delighted with all the products. I cannot imagine my skincare routine without a toner now, and so, when the Resist A-A toner was out of stock recently, I ordered the Skin Recovery Toner instead.

I’m so glad I did because it works even better for my skin. It feels beautifully silky and moisturising when applied, and I can definitely see and feel an additional improvement in my skin’s hydration levels when using this toner.

I had developed PD on my nose from over exfoliation and using a prescription medication. I went back to basics with hydration. This was amazing and calmed my PD down too. I use this first thing after cleansing morning and night and my skin is so hydrated and smooth I’ll never be without it.

Online, I often read about how unnecessary toners are, even from dermatologists. I thought this might be the case too, as I tried toners and found them pleasant, but they didn’t make a huge difference in my skin.

Then, I read about layering and gave it a try. Instead of using one layer of the toner, I would allow the first to dry down a bit, add another layer, and repeat until I used 3 – 5 layers. This works so well for my dehydrated skin.

Even before I put on my moisturizer, my skin was silky, plump, and glowing! If you have very dry or dehydrated skin, I highly recommend that you try layering a toner, it’s now an irreplaceable part of my morning routine! I use my fingers rather than cotton as to not waste the product.

I am always a bit hit and miss with my toner because for me it can be drying and irritating. I didn’t experience any of this with Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner so I am a fan. It doesn’t really smell like cucumber (menthol or something similar) which is good because it does nothing for me.

I apply it to a cotton pad after cleansing and gently wipe. It feels nice, removes leftover traces of makeup and leaves my skin prepped for the next step in my skincare routine. I would recommend this product.

Thanks for the review, I found some products I’ve never tried and that I’ll definitely get some samples of (to start) this brand has never disappointed and like you said might be pricey but worthy because they’re lasting and honestly my skin has never been so even, bright, hydrated and good-looking, it has even helped with the texture which I never even thought possible.

I do have a question for you guys: do you know how Kiehl’s employees’ rewards or goals work? I’ll explain further, so today I walked into my usual boutique and a representative approached me, I was only looking to buy a new toner because I ran out.

I got the calendula one as my skin tends to be reddish and the calendula mask has worked like magic for me. But the employee said that she would advise for me to get the cucumber one instead, she went on about how it would fulfill my needs better and so on.

And so I got the cucumber one because I’m weak. And now I’m sitting at home wondering if that was an honest, truthful advise or if she only sold me that one because she had to meet a goal or to reach an objective.

I guess the overall question is: can Kiehl’s employees really be trusted to give imparcial advise? Thanks for your answers!.

What I love about this product is that it smells so good, it is so good for your skin, make your skin smoother, and brighter. I use it every day now in my self-care routine, and my skin is glowing every day.

Highly recommend switching from the harsh toners to this one. I have been using this only for two weeks now. I am looking forward to seeing what more experience and surprise this product has to offer.

I bought this product to use morning and night after cleansing. I did a lot of research before deciding to try this one out, This seemed like a great one to try because it doesn’t contain irritating ingredients and it’s formulated with aloe Vera.

Although it didn’t irritate my skin, which is a huge plus considering how sensitive my skin is, it didn’t seem to benefit it either. It is basically like putting colored water on your face. It smells nice and is slightly “refreshing”.

I love my Neutrogena alcohol free face toner compared to this one because of how clean and refreshing that one is and clean all dirt and makeup impurities.

HOLY MOLY. As a younger woman I never understood exactly what the function of toners was. Then I got a couple years into my 40s and my skin started to look and feel dull, red, and dry. I am only halfway through a 1 oz.

sample size bottle of the Aloe Vera Toner and I am sold! After 3 uses I am already feeling a marked improvement in my skin’s texture and hydration. I have no doubt that I’ll see even greater results as I go.

This toner never dries out my Uber sensitive skin. I’ve used others but always come back to this. No it doesn’t have exfoliating or anti-aging properties like many others these days but it balances the skin PH and doesn’t irritate my skin either.

For those of you with super sensitive skin you know what I’m talking about. It gets exhausting. The aloe is so soothing. I love MB products!.

I’ve been using this product for 20+ years and just like all the other reviewers, I’m extremely disappointed in the change to this product. This new formula burns my face, makes it red, smells terrible and makes my face feel horrible and dry.

Changes to products go through thorough consumer testing and I’d like to know how this passed through the testing phase and into production to be sold in stores? Your response to everyone on this site for all the reviews are very templated, you should be more personalized in your approach and not just ask them to call.

You also have noted many times that you take feedback very seriously. How do you do that when the formula is still being sold? Reading review after review on this site, we all feel the same. What I’d like to see is to tell us what the company is doing about this product based on all the terrible feedback? Is the company changing back to the old formula and when? Please listen to your loyal consumers and make the change back to the original formula.

I don’t even think this needs to be published, I am just trying to get somebodies attention. I have been trying to let you know for over a year now that there is something wrong with this product. Since August of 2020 this has had something greasy and bubbly dumped into it and it makes the product miserable to use.

It leaves a greasy coating, dries out the skin, causes breakouts. The last review I left was last year sometime. About spring time and somebody thanked me for telling you and I thought by now you would have the old formula again.

Something is wrong at the place where you make this stuff. It sounds like you are also having trouble with your sensitive skin cleanser. I am hoping somebody has been working on it and hopefully soon you will put out the old formula! As for calling, I already have several times and people said they would tell quality control but that was months ago and nothing.

Please return to your old formula. I purchased and returned it to three different places because I thought the stores had received a bad batch. Unfortunately, it is new formula. I have purchased this for a couple of decades and it was such a great face wash.

It removed all makeup and now it does not. It also left a glow and made my skin feel great. Now it is a watery runny consistency that smells horrible. It also burns and leaves my skin with a very dull and dry appearance.

It does some sort of a weird breakout and skin feels horrible. I am so sad. It was the best. I am having the most difficult time finding a product that comparable to the old. Between wearing masks and not having your old product, my face skin is unrecognizable to me.

Please return to the old formula. Thank you for considering all of us.

I have Sjögren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that affects moisture production. As a result, my skin is EXTREMELY dry. I mean, constantly flaking and peeling dry. I’ve used a myriad of different moisturizing or hydrating toners over the years, but nothing lives up to this stuff.

I’ve only used this a few times now, and my skin is ACTUALLY retaining the moisture! I feel like this product makes it easier for other moisturizers to be absorbed properly. My redness and overall texture have improved as well, which was surprising given how long I’ve used this product.

My skin is so smooth and silky after using this. There is an added fragrance, but it’s not terribly overpowering. It’s a nice rosey scent, kinda similar to the smell of pure rosewater rather than an actual rose.

The spritzer is odd, though. It sprays in a line, almost, so I’ve been spraying it on my fingers or a cotton pad to apply it rather than directly spraying my face. I found this at TJ Maxx for $3. 50 on clearance, but I definitely think it’s worth the full retail price.

As of right now, I think this is going to be a staple in my skincare routine from this point forward!.

I’m not a huge fan of this, and I was hoping so much that I’d like it. I’ve tried other products from Bliss, and they’ve been wonderful. This, however, was just ok. It has a strong fragrance of rose, so if you’re not into having fragrance in your face products, you may not like this.

Also, I really dislike spray toners. That’s just a personal preference; but I’d prefer to just pour some onto a cotton pad. Lastly- and this is the biggest letdown. it made my face sting/burn a little.

Not enough to cause any visible irritation, but for a product that claims to be soothing, that’s not what I want to feel!.

I love this toner! It keeps the redness away and helps soothes my sensitive skin. has witch hazel which helps soothes your skin, rose water that helps support the Ph skins moistures. Alpine rose stem cells that have small particles of gold in the rose water which is known to help nourish skin by reinforcing your skins natural barrier, brightens, and acts as a shield against free radiant.

It has chamomile extract it fights and helps against skin irritants. Last, but not least willow herb extract is something that helps clear the skin properties of phyto to help by surviving from harsh chemicals.

It is also free from parable a, sulphate, phthalates, cruelty free, and etc!.

This is the only toner that my face likes, lol. I’ve been using this twice a day for 2 weeks now, and It made my skin very hydrating and glowing. The texture is viscous and the consistency is not thick nor oily.

This has helped me a lot and in the morning my skin feels so soft, plumped and nourished. The ingredients of this toner is really suitable for my skin and it didn’t irritate my skin nor gave me any allergic reaction.

I have a very sensitive skin so it’s hard for me to find toners that my skin will love and that will provide the effects that I want.

Ok so I’ve always been a fan of toner but more so just as a product junkie with an inconsistent regimen. I like using a toner even if I don’t do anything else besides cleanse bc it gets all the extra off of my skin.

I’ve never found a toner I’ve really liked but used them anyway. I have been suffering from massive breakouts and decided to give this one a shot since the ingredients are calming and the oil from this line heals my stubborn breakouts-turned-scabs fast once I finally use it after suffering for literal weeks.

ANYWAY I started using this toner and my face is clearing up. I see it doesn’t make any claims to help with acne but seriously this must be what my skin has been missing bc it is a savior and my skin is on the path to being the clearest it’s been in years after suffering from my worst breakout in years.

And fast! I do pair with an acne cleanser, Sunday Riley good genes, and a spot treatment. but I was already using those products with a different toner so I am convinced this toner is the reason for the difference I’m seeing in my skin.

It does all the things it claims, the reviews are spot on, AND my acne is clearing up at a fast rate! I feel like I might actually have totally clear skin one day now that I’ve found this product. PS my sister doesn’t use this toner but she started using all FAB products after newly consistent breakouts and her skin is flawless again.

After struggling with acne for almost 20 yrs, and seeing the improvement in my skin after using this toner, I had to write a novel. THANK YOU!.

This isn’t a terrible product, but I have a couple of issues with it. First of all, I wish the brand would be more transparent about whether or not it was reformulated. The order of the ingredients on the label has changed — now all of the beneficial ingredients are listed after the preservative phenoxyethanol, which means they all come in concentrations of less than 1%.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that the ingredients are ineffective or even that the formula was tweaked, but nevertheless, I wish FAB would either confirm or deny that the product has changed. The second issue I have is that this product is supposed to be soothing and healing, but it’s made my face burn like crazy on multiple occasions.

Granted, I was going through retinization, but other soothing toners I’ve used while my face adjusted to tretinoin didn’t cause this discomfort. If you market your product as a “repair” product and it makes my face burn, I’m going to be disappointed.

“Repair” products are the ones I lean on during retinization or when my skin barrier feels damaged, but this only made it worse. As far as the good things, it has some great ingredients like oats and honey that provide tons of benefits for the skin.

The texture is milky and hydrating but it absorbs reasonably quickly. Doesn’t leave you greasy. While not drugstore, price is also not outrageous. Not 100% sure I’ll restock when I finish my bottle.

I received this toner in one of my monthly subscription boxes from BoxyCharm and I’m absolutely blown away at how well this toner performs. I have really dry thirsty skin during the Winter months and nothing I would buy ever helped it, I would apply loads of moisturizer but a couple of hours later I’d be re-applying it because my skin would loose the moisturizer feeling and go right back to feeling dry and like I hadn’t used a moisturizer at all and I could see dry patches all over my face and my pores were horrible and huge well that is until this Amazing Perfect toner came into my life! I honestly never want to go a single day without it, I love the way it makes my skin look and feel moisturized , the wild oatmeal is so soothing to my skin, I love everything about this toner I love the way it makes my skin feel velvety smooth, so soft,.

You can’t go wrong with this toner it’s absolutely perfect and does every little thing that it’s supposed to do with results you can actually see and feel.

I wanted it for my skin because of dryness. I’ve been using product from Allē. If I everything daily as I was directed, my face in just a few days is red,sore, feels like a layer of skin was peeled off.

It would hurt for week or more after I stopped using the other Alle cleaning products and it would get to he point I’d just but Vaseline on my face to help with the soreness and peeling. I saw this toner and decided to try it.

My skin felt better the first time it used it. Within a few days the redness was gone and the skin at the other corners of my eye felt better too. Finally stopped peeling. It feels cool when I put it on, my face doesn’t feel as dry before I add my other serum and moisturizers.

So now using this after ever face wash.

I tried a sample of this toner from my dermatologist. It did exactly what the toner is supposed to do, calm the skin. I’m on a strong Rx strength retin-A and spironolactone to stop my acne, improve acne scars and reverse some fine lines.

So while I normally have very oily skin, on these two medication and my skin regimen, it leaves my face more sensitive and even dry in some parts of my face. This calming toner sample I got worked to calm it.

So I went online to purchase a full bottle for myself. Now I’m not sure if my derm had the sample so long that it lost its potency or was diluted, but using the one that I bought online is way more potent and stings a bit on application now before calming the skin.

Like I said, if I wasn’t on all these other Rx and OTC to correct my issues, it probably wouldn’t sting, but then again I wouldn’t need this to calm my skin. Anyhow, the stinging on application is the only reason I knocked off a star, but otherwise this would be an easy 4 star since it eventually does calm the skin.

If the price was more reasonable, it would be a solid 5.

I didn’t realize how damaging this skincare line was to your skin! I have been horrible and painful breakouts, I have been slowing trying to see what in my skincare regime has been breaking me out. Come to find in using 4 products from Zo Health this has caused the break outs! On top of everything when I called to see if I could get a refund customer service basically told me cause I am outside their 1 month return policy, it too bad for me.

After I explained how I slowing started to eliminate products to see what was breaking me out and it took me the 2 months to come to the conclusion it was the Zo Health products, they again was like ‘so sad for you but we don’t care’.

This has to be the most horrible customer service along with some damaging skincare products. Please anyone looking at this skincare line, look at their ingredients before coming close these products.

Long review but if you are interested in learning my experience with the cleaning portion of Peach&Lily stick around!!! I was really excited to use this and it let me down. First off let me explain I was only wearing La roche Posey Tinted Sunscreen, NARS Powder Blush, Essence Powder Highlighter, Benefit Mascara (NOT waterproof), and ABH Brow Gel.

The moment I put the cleansing oil on my face I knew it wasn’t going to do well picking up makeup. I used 2-3pumps (I feel that was a fair amount) Then I followed up with their gel cleanser. At that point I STILL felt there was residue.

After that I applied the toner, still getting something. Followed up with essence. After using the essence, I could still see black fibers on the cotton pad. At that point I began contemplating if I should return the produces or keep them.

After all, I snagged a few products during their 5x points promo and it was my Bday month so there is close to 3k of point on the line. Either way, I was influenced and will be posting for people who are in between and want to know cons/truth before dropping $40+ on a “cleansing oil” that DOES NOT cleanse lol As for the toner it’s doesn’t smell and you won’t waste product because it’s so hard to get out of the bottle.

Not only is the packaging beautiful with its frosting glass bottle, but the actual color of the toner completed the “fancy” look, reminds me of a blue lagoon lol. But outer beauty only goes so far right? Yes I was disappointed but mostly heartbroken.

First let down was getting it open. was not budging under my hands so eventually I gave up and handed it to my boyfriend Haha not only are his hands bigger and stronger than mine but definitely calloused so it shocked me when he eventually had to used a DAMN WRENCH to pry if open 🤣 which scraped the cap and ruined any kind of photo OP.

again my heart wept lol As far as the toner itself. another fail for me 🙁 for the hefty price tag not only was the amount minimal but not much effectiveness either. I was a beginner with exfoliating acids so I purchased this gentle one as not to irritate my sensitive, picky skin.

Basically did nothing for me. Absolutely tragic lol💔💔.

For months, I’ve been using the whole Glass Skin product series, and it’s been wonderful! My skin looked incredible—until I started using the Good Acids Toner. I know there’s often a purging period with retinoids, but it wasn’t just small bumps.

This was extreme: a high number of persistent cystic acne around my chin and nose for 6 weeks. Now, there’s red and purple scarring and textured scarring too. I know that 8 weeks is generally the total purging period, but the cysts aren’t stopping.

I also checked the ingredients on COSDNA, and only one ingredients (Corallina Officials extract) was even halfway comedogenic. I don’t know what the issue was. I’m disappointed and upset that all the good progress I’ve had is now destroyed AND there’s now a ton of horrible scarring and damage.

It’ll take forever to get back to where I was. 🙁 Sometimes, it’s just the luck of the draw, skin-wise, but I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this. Would not recommend.

First off — definitely great for all skin types, I am just speaking specifically to my skin type. I am not one to switch up products often because I had a few years of painful acne/breakouts but, I have done a lot of research and had many recommendations on always using toner.

Having said that, I always had toner around and wasn’t the best at using it daily because of the ease of application (having to always have a cotton pad around) or, some of them have a strong fragrance/smell, etc.

Long story short, came across this gem on Grove and did some further research on the quality of the product, the ingredients, the “Tree to Tub” and found their ingredients/overall product lines to be SO wonderful! ESPECIALLY for people with skin like mine (recovering).

Even if you have perfect skin, this toner is highly recommended! I also find spraying it on my face to be such an easy step to incorporate into my nightly routine, the feeling after isnt a tightening or sticky feeling, and the green tea doesnt have an overwhelming smell as some other green tea products I’ve used.

i am 71 years old and have never been much of a facial product user!! I have also never been one to wear any makeup, except for extra special occasions! My skin has always been very dry!! I usually only bathe & wash my hair about once a week.

& do not even wash my face every night. Buttt, when I do wash my face, it is sooo dry, that I must immediately use something(s), to help moisturize it immediately!! My niece, who works for Aveda, has told me I should first use a toner!! I had been using Aveda Toner until I came across THIS Tree to Tub Toner with Hyaluronic Acid, & I started to notice a difference!! It really had to be HUGE for ME to notice.

& it is!! The spray is just so refreshing, the smell delightful, AND my skin IS plumper!! At my age, with sagging skin, etc. , this is HUGE for me!!! Think how great it will be for you!!! :-).

I love how all the products smell! They feel great on my skin, not at all heavy or sticky or greasy. The products have not caused any issues with my acne-prone skin, which is such a relief too! I’m very happy with these products and look forward to trying some new ones.

My current regimen is the acne-prone peppermint face wash, followed by this facial toner, and then the brightening serum (vitamin C). I can honestly say my skin looks better, fresher after 2 weeks. I’ve also noticed a couple acne scars that were slow to heal initially, but once I started the tree to rub regimen, the scars are noticeably reduced!.

I just love the CeraVe Hydrating Toner! It definitely stays true to the name. I have never tried such an amazing, hydrating toner! I loved that it was not greasy on my skin. It is also nice that it is fragrance free and pH balanced.

After just one use, it made my skin look so healthy that it was glowing! I definitely will buy this product and highly recommend to anyone, especially people with dry skin. It is quite impressive how hydrating this product is without clogging the pores or leaving a greasy residue.

It has also really calmed my skin, which was slightly irritated from climate dryness. Try it, you will absolutely love it and wonder how you’ve gone so long without it!.

I used a new toner that had alcohol as the second ingredient and had a serious breakout at 58 which resulted in burning, itching, tightness with large and small bumps along with dry peeling skin. This was a first as I have been able to use pretty much any skin care product without irritation as I have pretty good skin.

I purchased and used this toner after work one day and it calmed down my burning, itching, and tightness. By the time I woke up the next morning most of the bumps had disappeared and forehead was clear again.

My skin felt hydrated, soft and had a nice glow. The only thing (and this is on me), is that it took several attempts to remove my foundation so if you wear foundation that is thick in consistency it may take several swipe before all the residue is gone.

These were my results.

This works pretty well. A little of CeraVe’s products go a very long way for me. Less is definitely more when it comes to this brand. You don’t need much. This rebalances the skin & kind of immediately throws hydration back into your skin after cleansing.

I rinse my face with water in the am (since i don’t sweat in my sleep & i go to sleep with clean skin), apply this & moisturize. Honestly, really glad I’m starting to switch my entire skincare/bodycare routine to all cerave products.

This brand is helping me realize that if you drink enough water, use spf & take care of your skin. you don’t need to use a ton of products. Only use what you need until you need more. Try it! You may find that you don’t even need to use a toner twice a day or every single day.

I’ve only used it twice so far.

Due to medication I have very sensitive skin and have to be very careful what I can use on my face. Gatineau gentle skin toner is one of the few products I can use following cleansing as it really is a lovely gentle toner and does not leave my skin irritated or feeling tight as some toners can.

Would recommend for anyone with sensitive skin problems.

This stuff is so good, I love how clean it feels and smells on my skin. It also comes in a large quantity, and for the price point it is really good value for money in my personal opinion. There are many similar products out there, but I love Gatineau, so If i can get my hands on these easily I buy this everytime.

It its hard to get where I live though.

This toner is definely gentle. It doesn’t dry out the skin or strip off the skin’s natural oils. It easily removes left over make up if you go over it 2-3 times. It was a good tonner but I can’t say that it was special in any way.

Not a memorable product.

I’m getting chemotherapy infusions, which have made my skin dry and sensitive, and given me nausea; therefore, I have had to shelve a lot of my usual anti-aging skincare products and had to search for substitutions.

I love using toner, not to remove dirt or makeup, but as a prep for my moisturizer and sunscreen. This has worked perfectly for me. The fragrance is not overpowering and does not linger, thus not making me feel ill (full disclosure: I’m taking anti nausea meds); and even with it and the colors added, Olay Toner has not irritated my skin.

Instead it does a beautiful job prepping my skin for my phthalate-free paraben-free no-causing-hives-or- angry-rash-peeling moisturizers and sunscreens. Do try this and any other products on your inner wrist to test for a reaction (don’t.

I have never used a toner but saw this one on clearance at my local Target for only $2. 49! I use the Olay foaming cleanser and have never had an issue with that so I thought I would give this a try.

I don’t know why there are complaints about the smell because I actually thought it smelled nice and refreshing. There wasn’t much excess dirt that pulled off after cleansing my face but that may be due to me not wearing make up that day either.

This extra step did make my face feel that much cleaner though. I also have sensitive skin and can sometimes break out with the wrong products but this one did not burn or break me out. In fact, some of my blemishes shrunk in size after just one use.

It also is not drying.

This is my holy grail toner. I have purchased this several times. I have used other toners and none compare to this one. It has a very fresh witch hazel scent. It does NOT burn, but can tingle around sensitive areas.

I have sensitive, combination, cystic acne prone skin and this is so refreshing on my skin. It helps remove the excess oils and gets the dirt out and just leaves me feeling really fresh and clean without drying me out.

Really good value for money. Excellent product to use with SP cleanser and moisturiser. Helped my 14 year old daughter’s skin and reduce breakouts. Would definitely recommend the sensitive one.

I have finally found a skin product range that suits my skin. I used to swear by boots botanics range for sensitive skin but they stopped doing it. Since then I’ve tried every expensive range on the market, I bought this to try on the off chance, the witch hazel made me choose it.

It’s the best thing I ever bought, even my blackheads have reduced considerably and it leaves my skin so soft yet controls the oiliness. Love it.

The best cleanser I have ever used ! Leaves skin feeling fresh & clean , as an over 60 user I found this product to be very gentle with no drying effect . I will never be without it now.
