IšverstiShow in original languageI love,love,love tomato juice! I hate V-8,although it’s probably healthier for you. But I was so happy when I found these little cans at Walmart. It’s the perfect size for a quick little drink/snack and I actually feel good about drinking it.

Basically tastes just like cold tomato soup. Recommend to all!.

I am so thrilled that this company does not use Citric Acid as a Preservative for their fruit and vegetable juices! Citric acid is man made in a lab and is terrible for everyone’s stomach. It’s named “Citric Acid” so people will think of natural lemon juice, however if it is on a Product Label, it is a man made, super irritating ingredient used as a cheap preservative.

Made in a lab Citric Acid is damaging to everyone’s stomach, but I have gastritis and can’t have it at all. Knudsen’s Juices are fresh and have nothing bad in them. I’m so thankful for them! I noticed that they have a new Vegetable Juice that is similar to V-8 juice and it has Citric Acid in it.

Knudsen, PLEASE don’t start using this in any of your other products!!! Keep them Pure!.

First thank you for making such a great product. I used to drink V8 on occasion, really liked it but did not like thinking of the harmful pesticides it may be laden with. I recently found the Very Veggie and its a bit different, maybe a tad sweet, but I added a pinch of salt and pepper and its perfect.

I can feel good about drinking this product, not only is it organic but its NON GMO Project Verified, and I always look for that label as my first choice. Its delicious and healthy. Thanks again!.

I bought this because I thought it would be healthier than V8 low sodium but that is unclear because the label doesn’t say how much Vitamin C or Vitamin A it contains as an example. Also your bottle says it only had 1 serving of vegetables but V8 says 2 servings of vegetables.

Is yours more watered down? Please advise. I’m glad it’s organic, but…not sure what I’m getting. Thank you!.

We use this canned tomato juice in a variety of ways at our restaurant. The kitchen uses it our tomato soup and to help smooth out pasta sauces. Our bar uses it our homemade Bloody Mix. It is a great versatile product.

I bought this thinking it was normal clamato juice. I was throwing a party themed after the tomato fight they have every year in japan. I was watching the hit film “Attac of the killer tomataos” when I felt it in my bones.

Something was wrong. I had bought it as a special treat for ,me and all my tomato loving comrades. We were all sitting around the TeleVision and I had set out the glasses with the juice in them. We usually love to drink normal clamato cocktlails and when the taste of this hit my tongue and the tongues of my friends, I nearly cried.

It seemed SOUR!!!! It was so revolting. I am not usually an adventorous eater, and this addition to the clamato juice family has left a sour taste in my mouth and the mouths of my friends, literally and figuratively.

I don;t know why the clamato testers thougth to give this to the public, or make it so similar to the normal juice. I was so dissapointed, and shocked, that I had to cancel the party early. It was a dissapointing thursday night to say the least.

I would like to reccomend a new flavour. Seasonal flavors have been very succesful in other business stores. Pumpkin spice. Need I say more? (Make sure it is clearly and boldy labeled as such however! We do NOT need another failed party on our hands.

However, despite this shock, I am still a loyal “cla-lad-o” and am excited to see what the marketing team can come up with next. LOve.

Clamato Original has the best flavor of tomato juice and spices when it comes to make your favorite cocktail. I like it as a “regular” drink too. It is one of the best options one could have in pretty much any occasion.

Some of my friends use it for some authentic Michelada or Bloody Caesar/Maria. If you are not into drinking it, it works well with food too. I have tried it in Pasta Primavera too, makes it real flavorful! It’s actually a great option as a dip too (specially with some tacos!) Great brand, great product, great taste.

I would highly recommend giving this a try.

This is similar to Clamato Tomato juice. PERFECT for ceviche or coctel de Camarones two popular latino dishes. I LOVED that it is spicy and not just tomato tasting. The price is also lower than Clamato.

I definitely recommend this one for people who want to use this ingredient for stuff.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis type of product was entirely off my radar until I had emergency surgery and was on a fluid diet. The hospital started giving me these veg juices, and I was really surprised at how appealing they were and how good I felt consuming them.

Since I have continuing issues with fibrous foods making the consumption of many vegetables difficult, I decided to start adding these to my diet to help counterbalance that problem. These are a perfect size, and you can have them straight, diluted, hot, cold, doctored with herbs or whatever into a sort of soup; they are extremely versatile.

My understanding is that they are predominantly tomato juice made from fully ripened specially grown tomatoes right at the source where this product is made, which I think you can taste; and the rest is a mixture of other vegetables.

They appear to offer a lot of good nutrition in a small quantity, and are very low in calories. Easy to carry too nor does a can take up much desk “real estate”. On top of that they are affordable and seem to hold up well in storage.

Overall I think this is a great product.

Most lower sodium does not taste all that great, however, this is very delicious no matter if you drink straight from the can or pour over ice, it’s delicious.

V8 has the recipe down pat, and I have yet to drink another tomato juice that is as tasty. Most other brands are either generic or not available in the personal, one serving size. this is a great way to sample if you like it also.

I have purchased the case of v8 with 12 and 24 cans, they keep well and I usually keep them in the fridge stocked as well as in storage to replenish when the refrigerated is drank. this size is also perfect for recipes, premeasured 12 oz which is most common in recipes.

I’ve used tomato-based soups, sauces, and main dishes, perfect! I also love that they serve this drink on Delta airlines, I always opt in for this for my vodka and V8.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love salty stuff but the original V8 is so overwhelmingly salty to me, I can’t drink it. I love the low sodium version. It’s not bland, it’s perfect. I wish the original had this level of sodium and that there was an even lower sodium version.

I have high blood pressure so, I have to watch out for this stuff. It’s a great way to get your veggies in on the go. The little cans are more expensive but I find if I buy a big bottle, I end up wasting a good portion of it.

I sometimes take half of the small can, another few ounces of water and mix it with my powdered super greens when I don’t have the appetite for a full lunch etc I just wish the cans were more affordable.

I have always loved V-8. It has a much thicker consistency and sharper taste than traditional tomato juice. I actually have been know to carry a few cans for a night out, because well. I cannot stand Bloody Mary Mixes and always ask the bartender to use my V-8 instead.

What I wasn’t aware of is just how much potassium is in a glass of V-8. If you struggle with leg cramps or low levels, this is your game changer. It has so much more potassium (as well as other vitamins and minerals), it has completely stopped my almost nightly calf cramps.

I buy the low sodium as it doesn’t change the flavor, and is better for my husband who is diabetic.

I just happened to read the nutrition label on this tiny can of low sodium V8. wow! So, 5 or 6 gulps of this little veggie drink has exponentially more potassium in it (700 mg. ) than one HUGE potassium pill (40)? I started drinking one 5.

5 ounce can of Low Sodium V8 every night. it helped the hand full of pills (that I had to take every night since my heart attack) go down a lot easier than water. That was 15 years ago, and I haven’t had a problem with my potassium levels since I started drinking it! You should always follow your doctor’s instructions.

but, if you don’t like what potassium pills do to your gut, ask your doctor if you can try a low sodium V8 once or twice a day, instead. I even showed mine the nutrition label on one of my little cans.

he was surprised. Who knows. it might work for you too. And, don’t even get me started on how much I love the fact that the vegetables used to make this little gem, are all non-GMO now. SO. Non GMO, high potassium (for those of us on a diuretic), low sodium, and tastes fantastic.

OH!. and it’s a full serving of vegetables too! NON-GMO VEGETABLES! The only thing I could ask more of this tasty veggie juice is for an ORGANIC, non GMO version. I could ask. but I try not to look gift unicorns in the mouth.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with V8 and my parents would always get it for me so I could get some extra servings of veggies. I stopped drinking it for a while and one day when I was on a plane I found out they serve tomato juice during the drink/snack service.

Since that first time I had tomato juice during my flight it became a sort of tradition for me to do every time I traveled. Just a quirky routine. Well! I haven’t been on a plane in a couple years now and when I saw this giant container of V8 I knew I could bring back memories of traveling.

I know it’s such a weird thing to do but it’s my thing okay? I love V8! It has 2 servings of veggies, it’s 100% vegetable juice, it’s gluten free, and each serving container 80% of the recommended daily value for vitamin C.

So there’s no cons! It tastes good, I feel good drinking it, and it reminds me of drinking tomato juice on a plane. I always drink V8 over ice since that’s how flight attendants serve it. you should try it! It’s toddler approved too! So sneak in those extra veggies!.

Wow – what a find! Very tasty, quite fiery tomato juice. Although it’s made from concentrate, it’s mixed with complementary ingredients e. g. Worcestershire sauce that really boosts the flavour. I had it with celery stalks and salad cream.

This tomato juice is so good its compelled me to write a review! It is utterly delicious and so good that I drank the lot in one go. Deliciously spicy, flavourful, everything a tomato juice should be and perfect for a bloody Mary indeed.

If you like plain tomato juice this clearly isn’t for you but if you like yours with spice, “oomph”, flavour and other spices which give it a delicious depth, buy this, you will not be disappointed!.

Love a tommy juice but this ready made slightly spicy one was a real find. Not too acidic but will a lovely kick – if you like a Bloody Mary this is likely a great base juice. If not then a lovely breakfast tommy juice.

Yes a Bloody Mary CAN be refreshing!!!! I’ve worked in so many bars, tried every mix on the planet, but this is the ONLY way I make Bloody Mary’s at home! (Bars don’t use it due to concerns about shellfish allergies.

) My formula is to fill a pint glass with ice, add 1. 5-3oz vodka, 2 shakes franks, 2 shakes worchestershire, squeeze a lime wedge or two (I squeeze then throw everything into the glass) and then fill to the top with Clamato.

Then I dump the whole thing into a shaker, shake a few times, pour everything back into the glass and enjoy. Makes a perfect Bloody Mary every time and is so fast and easy. Definitely try this if you’re like me and find Bloody Mary making takes forever due to constant tweaking.

Oh! My favorite garnish is dill pickled Brussels sprouts, what’s yours?.

stuff runs through my veins. I see a bottle in the fridge and this strange vampiric craze begins to encroach upon my soul. I think I am switching to the picante from original, you know like switching from Camels to Lucky Strikes.

It is just as delicious as the original but with a surprising kick of spice (though I still tend to doctor it up a little). If you like waking up a mummified husk of sodium like I do (pickle juice drinkers unite!), Clamato doesn’t fool around.

I have loved this juice since I was little girl my dad got me to try it and every night we would drink this or drink Beefamato. Although I have not seen the beef in years I still will sit and watch TV with a glass in my hand.

I love to put it in beer add a little salt and pepper it is wonderful. Give it a try it doesn’t taste like clams.

I don’t eat enough vegetables. I really don’t. I hoped V8 would help me supplement a bit and be a tolerable flavor. To make a long story short: it is. It tastes good for what it is, but slightly salty and the sodium levels match that taste.

there is a less sodium version, but it also halves the vitamins and nutrients as well as the taste, so I stick with the original. The only thing i so not like here is the large bottle. The V8 splash was Like a snack fruit juice and it worked well in a large family size bottle, but for my personal taste (YMMV), pouring into a glass from the bottle does not do enough to entice me to reach for it.

I much prefer the 12 oz. cans. One and done with each meal, pre-measured and i can take some to work with me in the lunch bag. But if a large family bottle is what works for you, then this is the same tasty V8 juice in a recyclable plastic bottle and is a good buy.
