Great stuff because it is thick, and “clings” well, and then bleaches stains out. Just soak some tissue paper or toilet paper with this gel and push soaked paper on top of exposed ‘black grungy areas’ on floor, walls and ceiling of shower area and let the bleach do the work.

Got one and noticed that it didn’t last long, but I wasn’t sure because I was moving to a brand new building and was just really busy. So I got another one and put it in the tank on 8/27/22. Today 9/9/22 the water was already clear again! It didn’t even last 2 weeks! It’s only my hubby and I.

The package says it lasts a month and that is an outright lie! Shame on Johnson & son for lying to their customers. Did they think that no one would notice? If you want the month you better buy 2 of them.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to try this product as I would not have just picked it up to try otherwise. The process is super easy, you just simply drop it in the bowl and wait for the magic to happen.

What really drew me to this product is the fact that it will not harm your pets if ingested (although not recommended). We have 2 dogs who prefer toilet bowl water rather than their fresh water. As for how well the product actually works, I am pleased.

We live in an area with extremely hard water and it is a lot of work to get the ring stains off if you don’t clean your toilet weekly. After using the Iron Out drop ins, it hardly took any effort to remove stains.

This did wonders for the mould on my shower grout. Just spread on, leave for a few minutes, and scrub with a grout brush or scouring pad. Repeat if necessary. It completely removed the mould in my shower and had my tiles sparkling, and there is no bleach smell.

The only downside is that this is not actually thick enough to cling to anything. It will run down shower walls if you just squirt it on. I have to try to prevent this as I have a re-glazed bathtub and need to avoid it coming into contact with abrasives like bleach.

I give it 5 stars bc it’s the ONLY product I’ve found in over 20 years to ever remove iron build up. I’ve tried all other competitive brands and none have compared to The Works. Every home I’ve lived in outside of city limits has had iron water and this wreaks havoc on everything.

I only use the toilet bowl cleaner, not the tub and shower or the the classic clean line. I don’t feel like those two even compare to this type. I have used it in my kitchen, bathroom sinks along with shower walls bathtub and even my washing machine.

I was hired to clean a home that had the worst iron buildup on they’re shower walls that I’ve ever seen. I can’t find a way to describe how bad it looked after 10 years of horrible iron water. I purchased a couple bottles of this and applied it.

When the homeowner seen the results she was so happy and shocked that I was able to remove it. This will always been my number one choice and will be as long as I can buy it. The only negative thing I could even say is the strong odor from the chemicals, which is expected.

Just need to be self-aware of the vapors it puts off and have well-ventilation, turn a fan on, open a window, etc.

I was a repeat customer of your product before the “plandemic”. It worked amazingly good, was thick and stuck to the sides of the toilet. Then it disappeared suddenly, couldn’t find it. Needless to say I was happy when I discovered it on Amazon.

I ordered 6 bottles, what a waste of money!!! Your product has changed, and not for the better. It’s very thin now and DOES NOT stick to the sides, simply runs down into the water. Not sure why you changed it except to rip off the consumer with a product I have no doubt you know no linger works like it did.

We have well water sometimes it would turn toliets and showers orange Used the works it would clean bery good. Could not find ginally found the works again. Started using the works for a couple of days now.

Does not clean like it use to. Looked up and The Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner formula has recently changed from a 20% active ingredient to a 9. 5%. Unfortunatly; the 20% formula has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase.

Finally, something that worked on dark manganese stains in a toilet. The stains are from well water that oxidizes on the vertical surfaces of the bowl causing black streaks. I tried everything; CLR, bleach, vinegar with baking soda, magic eraser, comet, ammonia compresses.

In frustration I replaced the whole toilet and the stains came back. After learning what the cause of the staining was, manganese, I tried Zep Acidic Cleaner and it worked! I had to leave the product on the toilet surfaces for about an hour but everything came off, looks like a new bowl!.

Hard water clogged up every hole! Replaced toilet and it did it again. even with poking a clothes hanger into the holes. eventually we were unable to poke through any longer. Found ZEP and poured into the overflow in the back of the tank, left over night and everything practically slid off the porcelain surface!!! Absolute life saver! Able to flush the toilet again without using a bucket of water.

We have hard water and no matter what we do a hard water ring forms at the bowl water line. I have tried so many products and home remedies and nothing has removed the ring except scrubbing (and scratching) with a pumice stone or pool acid.

I put some Lysol Advanced in the toilet and let it sit and forgot about it. Went in the bathroom about an hour later and used a scrub wand in it ant the ring came off completely with some scrubbing. I was about to replace the upstairs master bath toilet because of the ring so I tried it in that one.

I put some in the toilet and went to bed, The next morning it settled so much that the water was clear, all of the blue was sitting on the bottom of the bowl. I gave it a scrub and again the ring came completely off.

The toilet looks new again. Well done Lysol! Since manufacturers always change things or retailers change what they’re selling, I’m not taking a chance. Online now to buy a few boxes and store them away.

The efficiency of this product is unbelievable. We’ve had stains on one of our toilets that we’ve spent years of elbow grease and various products trying to get off. Even concentrated bleach wasn’t working on it, so we started to assume that the porcelain finish has worn off.

I tried this product as a last ditch effort before buying a whole new toilet, because of the reviews I had read. Believe all of the hype! I let this product sit on the stains for about 20 minutes and when I came back, they were literally melting off.

I didn’t even need to use a brush to scrub them — they were coming off with just splashes of water. So insane. I was so overly excited about it that I went around gushing to everyone about how cool this product is lol.

Worth every penny! They’ve made me a loyal customer for life after this experience.

This is my favorite product to clean in my toilet bowls with. I usually prefer natural products to clean with, but when it comes to the toilet, they don’t make me feel like everything is getting clean.

So this is my go to. It is nice and thick to coat along the inside of the bowl, even under the water. I also love how the bottle is shaped to help get product under the rim. And after scrubbing with this the toilet is shiny and super clean.

The only thing I don’t like about the is the scent. Omg why? Whoever came up with the bright idea to make this stuff wintergreen scented should be slapped. I hate this smell in my bathroom and I feel comfortable saying that just about everyone else feels the same.

The Works toilet cleaner I’ve used this product for years well that’s changing!!! I bought 5 bottles and they are nothing but water with a little something to make it bubble a very little! you are intentionally are ripping all off! you should be ashamed goodbye! by the way you can keep your comet cleanser too.

I don’t understand. when I first started using this stuff years ago, it was like $1. 50 and was better than any cleaner out there. It would get rid of hard water stains and buildup in a flash. I would even use it around my faucet and as soon as it hit the hard water buildup it would start bubbling and Poof! Gone! Now for about the past year, the price has flown up and if I put it on my water buildup it just sits there.

No fizz, no bubble and doesn’t work. So clearly they’ve changed the formula. What a shame too cause this was seriously the best. Now, don’t waste your money.

I’ll caveat my review that my toilets are usually fairly clean. I clean my toilet as soon as black streaks/water ring or orange water ring appears in the bowl (about every 1. 5-2 weeks of regular use by 2 adults).

I can only speak to the use of these toilet cleaner tablets for regular, maintenance cleaning (rather than heavy duty cleaning). I used to use the Lysol Advanced Toilet Bowl Cleaner which is the gel cleaner.

I had no problems with this product but wanted something more natural (as Lysol’s product is corrosive) and that didn’t come in a plastic bottle. I noticed that the toilet cleaner tablets from Blueland breaks up the black stuff that grows on the under side of the bowl very well! Better than the Lysol corrosive cleaner which is applied directly to the under side of the toilet where the black stuff is.

Just dipping the toilet brush in the water after the toilet cleaner has dissolved and scrubbing the underside of the bowl easily knocks the black stuff loose and gets my toilet cleaner than ever before! My one tip is to avoid dropping the tablet into the bowl because it makes a large splash! I suggest placing the tablet inside the bowl and letting it gently slide into the water.

These little tablets work wonders on toilets with rust deposits! We have well water and even after going through the iron removing process well still have micro deposits of iron that collect overnight in our toilets.

I’ve used the chemical cleaners which hart the bacteria in our septic system so I thought I’d try these. These work beautifully. I drop one tablet in an the morning, let it fizz out, then I let it remain in the bowl for a half hour.

The deposits remove with a swipe of the brush! No scrubbing! I now have sparkling toilet bowls. The container for the tablets is kept on the shelf above the toilet so I can just pop one in the toilet first thing in the morning and I have a clean toilet.

So simple and convenient. Love these. Even bought a set for my aunt who loves them for the same reason.

I love how easy they are that my kids could actually load the laundry themselves, as well as the “dad”. I don’t have to worry about them spilling the liquid detergent. It keeps my laundry room so clean too.

It does the job perfectly, everything came out fresh and clean. my recommendation – I usually would melt the tablet first if I know I am running a cold wash load. The pre-dissolved step works really well during winter season too.

the tablet does have a harder time to be completely dissolved when the water is cold. Or simply break them down before popping them into the washer. i have store up to 10 bags of this tablets without even taking any space in my laundry room.

I used Clorox Bleach tabs for years, but they only lasted about a week. Clorox said warm water will do that. So I tried this product based on reviews and finally found some at a WalMart. But, I put the tablet in yesterday afternoon and it completely disssolved in less than 24 hours.

How could it still be working? Very disappointed.

These are OK but does not replace the need for using wink in the brown bottle. In the beginning it makes the water cloudy but then that goes away. I don’t find that it is an excellent addition to the household cleaning supplies.

I don’t think I would buy again.

the water we have, where we live, has lots of minerals or hard water scale; whatever it is it’s very difficult to keep the ring from building around the water line in the commode. This Whink product is the only thing that has worked.

Throw a tablet in the water tank, at the back of the commode, away from the mechanical workings and let it work it’s wonders. They only last about three weeks but the commode gets so white. Read the directions on the package.

I use this product for cleaning bathroom crevices, toilets, grout, etc. IT WORKS. Our town was flushing transferring to a new water system and it left so many mineral deposits that my toilet bowls turned a nasty brownish-yellow.

I scrubbed my toilet bowls with clorox toilet bowl cleaner, let it soak, tried using comet, among other really harsh chemicals to get the ugly stain out. I gave up and said well, I guess I will give up on stains and try out the Method toilet cleaner that has been in my pantry unopened for a month or two.

Well, I used it. I poured it in my toilet bowl, lightly rubbed it around the bowl with the toilet brush, came back to scrub the toilet about 20 minutes later and the stains were gone. GONE. That’s right, G.

O. N. E. ! If you have hard water stains or nasty grout, this work 1,000x better than any toilet cleaner I used. My husband even told me to throw out the clorox because it was garbage. Lol. Switched to this and never looked back.

I literally NEVER write reviews for products. We live in a rental and have had such bad issues with water stains. Im talking fully yellow toilet bowl. It is so embarrassing. We have spent so much money on special chemical products, different scrubs, etc.

Nothing works. People have even made comments about it to us. I bought this and had very low expectations. I put it in the toilets, left it for about an hour, and when I came back the toilet bowl was.

WHITE. I didnt scrub it, I didnt do anything. This stuff simply just LIFTED all of the hard water stains. I now have BEAUTIFUL WHITE toilet bowls. 10/10.

I’m all for cutting down on chemicals and bleach, especially having a baby in the house. However, there’s a time and place for real bleach or similar products. I was cleaning the toilet with this product soooo often, even my husband noticed how gross the toilet got despite this! Cleaning way more frequently and doesn’t feel as sparkly clean even after cleaning.

Going back to my tried and true Clorox toilet bowl cleaner after trying this out for far too many months. Got tons of grime off with my first wash back with my normal product. Gross!.

Super Iron Out tablets are a must if you live in a area that has a high iron content in the water. We are on a well and iron is about the only thing we have in the water whitch is good for drinking and cooking.

However in a toilet bowl it causes a brown film to form on the bowl at the water line and in the tank where the water is held for flushing. Super Iron Out STOPS that for at least thirty days and some times longer.

We put one tablet in each tank and replace them as soon as they are all de solved. Any brown ring that forms is easy to clean out and is usually much liter than it is with out the tablets. I find them to be well worth the money.

It does not last for 45 days. If it last a month ,you’re lucky. I just put the 4th one in today bought this in Dec and it’s now Jan 21. I’m a cleaning freak and I will not invest in this product again.

Forgot to mention I live alone.

The tablets were much small then the Clorox version. Even for price being lower they were not worth it. Seemed to be more porous and dissolved quicker.

I love this product. I never had a problem with the dispensing bottle until recently. Now it leaks and runs out the side both when being distributed and when it’s upright. It leaks out the side of the cap.

It did not do this before Covid. Did the manufacturer who makes your bottles change the construction of the bottle? It never happened before. Only since I’ve been buying the Clorox Bleach toilet bowl cleaner recently within the last few months.

Did you change the construction of the bottle because Lysol cleaner does the same thing. I only know this because my daughter uses that product. I’ve already had damage to my carpet because it kept leaking even after it was closed all the way.

The Clorox toilet bowl cleaner is better than almost any other brand I have tried. The caps is easy to open (some brands are almost impossible to open). Just squirt in and let sit a few minutes, then a quick brush and it is sparkling clean.

It even has a good scent, not an overpowering chemical smell like some other brands.

Using Clorox toilet bowl cleaner was easier than using traditional cleaning solutions. The traditional was let stains etc. , but with just a few squirts of Clorox the stain came right off right away! Great find.

I moved to a new apartment and the only really Dirty thing other than the hard floors was a toilet ring. I tried Lysol toilet cleaner wand, regular bleach cleaner, toilet gel stamps, and nothing touched it.

I squirted this stuff around the rim above the stain and let it sit 10 minutes, then cleaned with the toilet bowl wand and it came right off. I thought it was going to be a permanent stain. I was reading about rust stains and how acids eat through them (like Coke with rust on a car bumper), and though it didn’t look like rust I guess it was.

If you have stains around the tub it should work there too, maybe on grout. (A tip I read for grout is to soak cotton string like what is used as a barrier around your face when getting a perm and tucking it around the grout lines.

First toilet bowl cleaner I’ve used that does what it says it will do. We have hard well water that leaves lime scale and red staining if not cleaned every day. I rely on pumice stone to keep remove stain and make it shiney.

This product eliminates the need for using pumice stone.

I cannot believe how this cleaner worked!! I lined the very dirty bowl with the product and let it set for 15 minutes. I used the Fuller brush to wipe the bowl, and to my amazement it wiped the entire bowl spotlessly sparkling clean! Great product.

Bought this and used it on one of my old 1973 Murray by Eljer toilets and the results blew me away. Poured it down the overflow tube and let sit for 25-30 minutes. Cleaned out the toilet bowl while I waited for it to clean out the jets.

This stuff removes all of the grit and grime from within the toilet bowl. I’ve tried many toilet bowl cleaners and none of them were able to remove those stains. This stuff is amazing! After 30 minutes I flushed the toilet and saw an immediate improvement in flush time.

I’m getting one more bottle for this toilet and one for my other 1968 Kohler by Wellworth toilet.

This product was recommended on You Tube. It works to clean the upper rim of lime and rejuvenate the flushing power of an older limed up toilet Bowel. I repeatedly used vinegar and lime away to no avail.

This chemical did the trick. It did not get all the holes unplugged due to how long I waited. But 90% were clears. My toilet now functions very well and saves me replacing the Bowel. I used two bottles and saved me a couple $100.

Perfect solution! I had a slow, incomplete flushing toilet. The toilet is over 20 years old. No issues with my pipes. I tried plunging, didn’t fix it. I saw a YouTube video that used this product. It isn’t available in my area, so I ordered on eBay.

It arrived in a week. I followed the directions, (said to let it sit for 20 minutes, I let it sit for 1 hour). When I turned the water on and flushed, BINGO! Nice, full, powerful flush! Thank you! I only wish that it was available in my area, but at least I know where I can find it now.
