TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleNormally I wouldn’t do a review this early on a new set of tires. But, being these are a new release from Cooper and seeing there are limited reviews, I wanted to get the word out about my early experience with them, with just a few hundred miles on them.

I could not give them a 5-star rating yet for durability or treadwear because I have limited miles on them, but I’ll update this at a later date. My set is a 35×12. 50R20 (12-ply) and they are extremely aggressive for an AT/hybrid tire.

And much to my surprise, they are whisper quiet regardless of the speed I’m driving. I’ve yet to see a tire this aggressive, with such spacing between the tread blocks, that exhibits such little road noise.

Initially this 12-ply set rode a slight bit firmer when ran at the same air pressure as my previous 10-ply set. But after reducing tire pressure by about 5 more PSI, these tires ride and handle great.

They are actually smoother than my previous 10-ply tires (Toyo AT II Extreme, which were also noisier when new and didn’t have as good of traction). These Rugged Trek tires have very deep lugs and have large separation between even the center tread blocks, which makes for outstanding traction.

I was skeptical in reading about Cooper’s “whisper grooves”, but apparently they really do work because these tires are exceptionally quiet. The sidewall designs are aggressive and attractive (both sides) but yet aren’t over-the-top aggressive, which allows for easier cleaning when you’re done with your dirty work.

Traction so far is outstanding, though I’ve not had the opportunity yet to test them in deep snow or mud. It’s also surprising to me these aggressive tires carry a substantial mileage warranty. For someone like me who’s truck is an every day driver, this is the most balanced tire I’ve owned so far for traction, ride comfort, road noise and appearance.

As long as they wear well, this will be my new “go-to” tire. I am very confident these tires will become very popular in the near future, especially as Cooper expands the tire sizes available in this model, and as more people are looking for an aggressive all-purpose tire that can handle a tough weekend in the mountains while still providing everyday livability when commuting back and forth to work.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI wanted to love these tires. have had mixed luck with Cooper in the past. 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 I have had these tires for about 10k miles during which time I have rotated them three times through Discount Tire.

Prior to these tires, I had Duratracs and have run several different tires (Mastercraft MXT/CXT, BFG, Cooper, Mickey Thompsons, etc. in both All Terrain and Mud Terrain setup). These tires are as loud as a worn set of Cooper STT tires.

I have had my front end checked to ensure it wasn’t the truck and the guys at Discount were surprised at the cupping that is taking place based on the frequent rotating. I am running them at 35 psi as it’s an XL Tire and not a E-Rated Tire.

For the cost, they are a disappointment. I would recommend staying with Goodyear or BFG as they tend to last quite a bit longer before problems start. PROS: – Look great, aggressive tread pattern – Good traction in deeper snow, as expected or better on 1/4″ and slushy roads CONS: – With 10k miles, they have been rotated three times and are cupping – The noise level went from a 4 when new to a 10+ with 10k miles on them.

Love these tires. My second set. The tires get great mileage. They are quite and handle well on wet roads. They are manufactured in Korea and the quality is as good or better than any other tire. My favorite characteristic of the tires is the low sound level they generate rolling down the road and the way they handle in rainy weather.

Great tire. 60000 miles before needing replacement.

So far, so good. Only had them on for about a week, but I could instantly tell the difference between these Nexen tires and the Good Year Assurance tires that were on the vehicle. First – these tires are virtually silent compared to the Good Year tires.

Next, they handle very well in rain and snow. Impressive quality for this pricepoint. At this point, I would buy them again next time I need tires.

I bought 3 new tires to replace well-worn HTX ones from 2016. The fourth tire, an RH5, had only 30K miles on it and is in good shape. It had replaced a sidewall puncture. Walmart’s price beat all competition, and enabled me to enroll them for routine rotation and road hazard protection.

At first, the front tires seemed out of round or lumpy, causing the steering wheel to shimmy above 50 mph. There was no shimmy from the old tires, so it to be the new tires, not mechanical damage. Spinning the wheels showed some slight tread variance, but not large enough to be concerning.

So, I took the tires for a 2400 mile planned road trip, during which they quickly smoothed out – within about 300 miles. But that initial shimmy kept the rating to 4 stars. They are quiet, grip really well on all surfaces: asphalt, concrete, gravel and dirt, and provide a comfortable ride.

They had limited exposure to rain so far, but their older “cousins” performed terrifically when wet even in their final miles. I continue to be very happy with Nexen tires on my Armada.

Let me start off by saying the delivery of these tires were WEIRD 😆 ! Got a single tire on one day and the other three the next day, quite funny to be honest ! But who cares how they arrived. That has nothing to do with the performance of the tires.

RITE !! Now about the tires it’s self ! At this very moment I am SUPER PLEASE and have gotten MANY COMPLIMENTS on my Haida Tires 275/60 R20 !!! I was skeptical at first because I couldn’t find many reviews.

And the few I found was not to comforting. And I did also find some that gave it a positive feed back. People mentioning about its a Chinese Tire and it does not balance well and etc. The USA has only one American own Tire Factor (Master Craft) I believe imagine that.

So the majority of our tires we ride on every day is from another country. Beside ALL OF THAT, I will leave that up to you all to decide what tire to choose from whatever country ! For me it’s about LOOKS and PRICES !! And for under $800 for a set of RT TIRES , cool with me ! I think my truck looks great with them and my wife approved !! Green tire and they ride great ! I just hope that they don’t go up on the pricing.

OVERALL, I would purchase them again !! As always Buckle up and Drive safe.

I bought 4 tires and had them professionally installed on my truck. Less then a week later the sidewall cracked and started leaking air. I photographed the sidewall and emailed priority tire. The 90 day warranty wasn’t good because I had the tire mounted.

Lol They said I would have to buy a new tire. I said fine, I’ll buy another new tire. I asked for a discounted price and was denied. Now I bought 5 tires and ended up with 4 good tires and one with a sidewall issue.

If ya don’t wanna warranty your tires at least give a discount when one fails days after it’s installed.

These tires ride smooth. They make some road noise but not bad. Coming from having mud tires on my truck that drove rough and made a lot of noise, these are a great alternative! They look great on my rims and have an aggressive look similar to M/T’s I’m really liking them so far! If you’re on the fence about buying them, buy them! You won’t regret it!.

I was pleased with the fast delivery (was sent 2 at a time and FedEx had a delivery exception on the 2nd pair but that’s a fault of FedEx). I have about 1,000 on this set with my Model 3 and I am very pleased.

These wheels grip well on all conditions minus snow since it is not winter yet. Given Nokian’s reputation in icy conditions, my expectations are high. In comparison with the stock tires, these are much better than the Michelin Primacy ones.

I despised those tires and I’m glad to have them off of my car. The Wh/mi appears to have gone up slightly which is of no concern to me. Safety first! Overall satisfied.

This is the roughest riding tire I’ve ever had the displeasure of driving on. My Subaru slams over every bump and crack in the road. Pavement patches feel like the car is going to break in half. The car has new OEM struts and new rubber isolator bushings.

It’s the tires! I run 32psi. The only good/bad thing is they are so hard that they lasted 60000 miles. I took my last ride in them today. Buy anything else!.

These all season tires are used by me on a BMW X5 2013. I use them year round. While I would not trust them in deep snow, they are fine on cleared winter roads. These tires have excellent ride quality.

The downside may be future availability. They come from Nokian’s plant in Russia, which I understand is no longer exporting tires after the Ukranian invasion. The price on WalMart seems to vary greatly day to day.

Bought a set of 4 new Defenders for my Honda Accord at Bedford CTC in early March. Was optimistic winter was over. I drive between Halifax city and the airport alot. Water collects in the asphalt depressions in the heavily traveled lanes in wet weather.

At 100km/h there was no trace of hydroplaning with these tires. We had one snowstorm in mid March that I drove where 8 inch drifts built up across the hiway. At 70-80 km/h the car punched through the drifts on those tires with no loss of control.

On dry pavement the ride is very smooth and quiet. The tires are rated for 140,000km. Am looking forward to continued solid performance.

I waited 6 months to comment on these tires as I wanted to evaluate how they would be on our 2007 FWD only Honda CR-V in winter conditions around Hamilton ON. Surprisingly good grip with careful, responsible winter driving.

We didn’t really want to get into buying dedicated winter tires and related storage, change overs 2x a year etc. so the Defender has been a great choice for the urban/ suburban conditions in our area.

$70 rebate took about 6 weeks to process. Smooth and quiet on dry pavement up to 130 km (oops!) and no wet weather concerns in city or on highway. Excellent install by Burlington, ON. CTC store on Fairview.

I bought the Michelin Defender Tires which only lasted a few years and getting 50Kms and now my mechanic is telling me that these tires need to be replaced; not worth the money you pay for these tires.

I would recommend not buying these tires.

Previously had these and the super sports on my BMW E90 330i and loved them that car came with Dunlops from BMW the performance was better but not world changing. I had recently upgraded to a BMW F30 Active Hybrid 3 it came with mismatched front and rear Maxxi and Avons respectively, the previous owner sold it because they felt it too powerful and unstable.

I found the exact same problem and it to be a great example of how important a good tyre is. Before I put the Michelin PS4S on the car would wheel spin on the lightest acceleration from a standstill it would constantly try and oversteer in corners just horrible to drive it was like driving in light ice conditions.

I put the Michelin PS4S on and it was night and day suddenly It was difficult to get it to wheel spin and step out in turns. I could take corners with confidence I could not only stop without the ABS kicking in but hard stop and sooner at that.

I had quite often wondered in the 4 years using these on my previous car was it really worth the cost could I just step down to a budget tyre and get away with it. The answer I found was no your tyre really does make a world of difference.

I couldn’t get those budget tyres off faster enough and go back to the black sticky embrace of the Michelin Pilot sport 4s and going into every country road bend at the ready to catch the back end stepping out.

Do yourself a favour buy the right tyre.

I did a lot of research before having these fitted to my Jaguar XF Portfolio to replace Dunlop SP Sport 01(J)s. The PS4S is a more aggressive tyre, so I went with the older design and it seems to suit my car very well.

The PS4 are a little quieter than the Dunlops, grippier in the dry, and even more so in the wet. The steering is lighter and more fluid. The Dunlops took more effort to turn just off-centre before settling into the corner, whereas the Michelins are more linear and give greater feedback.

Ride comfort is surprisingly good for a sports tyre, and a small improvement on the old Dunlops. Durability is as yet unknown as I’ve only done about a thousand kms. but I’ve had good experience with the wear rate of Michelin tyres (Primacy LCs) on a different car in the past.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the PS4, and although quite expensive they seem well worth the money.

Got these tires with my ‘98 Z3 Coupe with suspension upgrades. The tire handles amazingly both on comfortable Autobahn driving up to enthusiastic driving on curvy b-roads. Temperatures build up quickly and the tire is always giving me confidence.

It really takes a lot of input to bring them to slide. Turning in gives great feedback and they have great durability. Need to change my back tires after 25. 000 KM. Driving style: 50 % comfortable, 50% sporty, no track days.

In the rain they handle amazingly too, but I drive my car rarely on rain, therefore I won’t give a deep feedback. Definitely going to keep with PS4’s only minor issue is with the sound they make but it’s normal for sporty tires.

A stainless steel body kettle for anyone looking for a light weight, easy to use, fast boiling kettle. Although the body is stainless steel the base, handle and switch are plastic making it feel much less durable than it looks.

It boils water very fast (a full kettle (1. 7l) of cold water boils within 5 minutes) but it is very loud during the entire heating time. The wide opening and hinged top make filling easy in addition to the clear light up side view window.

The internal 1 to 3 cups markers make filling to boil a small amount convenient. The cord is very short and stiff which make it awkward to plug in in tight spaces. The walls of the kettle are thin so water cools down faster than an insulated or double walled kettle.

If you live in an area with hard water the removable screen at the base of the spout will prevent any hard water deposits that form over time from ending up in your cup.

We love this electric kettle. It boils water quickly. It has transparent columns on each side to facilitate measuring the water level while filling. It holds 1. 7 litres of water, more than enough for a six cup tea pot.

Most of all, it lights up while boiling and this blue light goes out when the heating element has automatically shut off. A bonus is that the kettle sits on this separate heating element so is easily removed for pouring.

This Kettle boils water quickly. 1. 7L of Cold tap water to a boil in under 7 minutes! It has a finger print resistant stainless steel finish with an internal blue LED light that can be seen through the site glass.

It has markers inside for 1, 2 and 3 cup levels, as well as marks on the site glass as well. The 3 cup level took about 3mins and 25 seconds to bring to a boil. Overall I really like this kettle and looks mazing on my countertops.

Tires are great and make my Mercedes Benz SUV drive like a brand new vehicle. They replaced a set of Michelin’s that I could not justify a new set. I decided to get creative and alter the size slightly in hopes to improve MPG.

The aggressive tread is wonderful on dry or wet roads. Rides smoother then ever. The financing was quick approval. All and all this was the best tire purchase I’ve ever made.

Upon mounting and balancing, the tire rode very bumpy and uneven. Priority tires was unhelpful in processing a return asking for unwarranted statements from the installer before processing the refund.

I will be pursuing legal means to recover my funds. Buyer beware of Priority Tires policies!.

Tires are what I expected. I bought the same tires only smaller size about a year ago. They work very well for me. The service from Priority Tire in my experience, has been very good. I have made several purchases from them and never had any issues.

I have had these tires on my Tacoma for 2 months now. I live on a dirt road that gets either very rocky or muddy. These tires handle this Az. mud very well. Without them we have had to repair flats on 2 ply tires every 2 weeks, now we have almost 0 flats.

When I bought these tires I questioned them because for 10ply tires at this price I was skeptical. But the title says it all. Second day after I put them on my truck I loaded it up with wet wood and they didn’t even squat.

Time will tell but so far so good. I definitely recommend them if you don’t do a lot of freeway driving.

What a great tire for the price. It handles very well and smooth on the road. To my surprise, this tire puts out a quiet ride. I would definitely recommend this tire to someone on a budget. I purchased 4 and saved $350 compared to another well known brand.

I purchased the new Pilot Sport 5 tires at Costco for my BMW and all I can say is WOW! They were hidden at the bottom of the list in Costcos inventory system and the sales guy didnt even realize these were out yet until I asked for them, he said I was his first customer to order these and he orders hundreds of tires a week at a busy store.

Let me say these are night and day different from the OEM Primacy MXM4 ZP run flats that were on my car before. The Pilot Sport 5 improved handling significantly and there is zero slip when accelerating hard.

I am able to take corners at high speed more confidently and the steering just feels effortless and more controlled now. One thing I noticed with these tires are that they are sticky and super soft, much more than other tires I have had in the past.

This is a huge plus for dry grip handling, and with Michelins 30k mile warranty and improved treadlife I am impressed to say the least. Most soft tires only last 15k miles if that. I think these are better than the Pilot Sport 4S that I have had on a previous BMW, I know that isnt popular opinion on forums but in the real world testing that I have done, I think these are more responsive and stick better to the road, likely due to newer technology incorporated into this tire from Michelin.

5 out of 5 stars, I dont know how Michelin does it with every new generation of tire but these are going to be hard to top.

I live in Delaware & drive a lot. I got these tires as an alternative to higher priced brand name tires to see how they’d perform. Bottom line – I would definitely get them again! I’ve had these tires for a little over 3 years and have put 80K miles on them so far – highway miles almost exclusively.

They originally had a 40K mile factory warranty with them but they’ve lasted quite a bit longer. They’ve performed well in 4 seasons & look great. Be aware: They are directional tires, in that they can’t be fully rotated all over the vehicle – they can only rotate in one direction because of the tread pattern.

so you can move them from front to back on the same side, but that’s it. However, I never rotated them at all over the course of the past 3 years and never had issues or never even had to do an alignment on my vehicle (2007 Toyota 4Runner) and the wear has been pretty even (unbelievably).

The tread [depth] is finally getting pretty low, but still not in the ‘red’ yet (per the last Toyota dealership service last week), but they are starting to show a bit of dry rot, so I’m almost ready to get these again.

2007 F150 2WD 4D Crew (197k miles) – This will be my 3rd set of Nexen tires on this vehicle. The value of these tires cannot be beat. Wear on my 1st set was ~64k, 2nd set ~69k. My pickup doubles as a work truck and not just a work commuter.

Therefore, I load (overload) the truck quite frequently and also pull small-to-medium size trailers. These tires have performed beautifully. Low road noise. I agree with another post – when extremely cold, they seem to have a slight ‘flat spot’ until warmed up (usually 1-2 miles) Good traction in adverse weather conditions – rain, snow, ice (haven’t experienced much mud, so no recommendation from me there).

Generally, I drive fast and these tires have performed well with the increased speed and cornering. A good all-season tire. For the price and overall value, these can’t be beat.

I purchased this to wear on my pinkie. I love it so much I want one for my pointer finger. This ring is so well made, very classy. SCOTT, PLEASE BRING THIS RING BACK. This in my opinion is the prettiest two tone ring you have brought to QVC and I love them all.

I have so much JAI, I had to buy a special jewelry box to hold them. I wish you would bring back the two tone cross ring too. I missed out on it and it was beautiful.

I have had a great experience with these tires, especially compared to other brands. I have managed to avoid 2 fender benders and the murder of several squirrels which run rampant in my neighborhood.

Westlake tires may seem cheap but they work well. Only driven in Florida so no snow experience but plenty of rain. For reference, other brands I have purchased are Michelin, Hankook and Yokohama, all for the same car.

This was my first order from Priority Tire. Very positive. Easy purchasing process and fast delivery all at a good price. I’ve only had the Outpost tires for a couple days but initial impressions are also very positive.

Quiet, responsive. Everything I was looking for in an AT. I can’t wait to see how they handle the winter.

I love these tires! They hold the road very well and look great. It is almost spooky how quiet these tires are considering the aggressive tread. I have not tried them off-road yet, but I suspect they will do well.

I ALMOST can’t wait for the upcoming Minnesota winter.

Well, great price but some how one tire got seperated from the rest by FedEx. Took FedEx 5 days to get the tire back with its family. I don’t think this was the fault of priority tire. Priority tire was able to tell me more about where it was than FedEx.

I WOULD purchase from them again.

Put on a 2005 Honda Pilot. So far quite happy. Previous 2 replacement sets were Michelin Latitude Tour (unfortunately that product line now discontinued) and did get great tread life/wear (approx 100K km).

As a result wanted Michelin again and this was the one to go with based on specs and reviews. Road noise just ever so slightly more than previous but not surprising since slightly more aggressive tread.

After a couple hundred kms detected vibration at 115+ km/h but they just had to be rebalanced (all 4 checked no charge, 2 needed adjusted weights, solved). Have had that happen on previous set where the tire established its new/true shape after initial “break in” period.

Gave 4 stars because tires were 2 years since manufacture. Knew this before purchasing (as always inquire, and Michelin says they use 3 years for max shelf life). This unfortunate reality is a reflection of the pandemic…not as much driving so not as many tires being purchased, manufacturing sites impacted with outbreaks etc, and, this tire size not as popular anymore with newer vehicles trending to increasing rim sizes, etc.

This does not impact the warranty. And, this was not just a CTC issue as independent tire centers were similar. This size was made in Oklahoma plant where as more popular/larger sizes are made in the Canadian plants (Nova Scotia).

Was hoping to support Made-in-Canada (as were the previous Latitude Tour) but just as happy to support a North American made product for this purchase. Very pleased with the CTC auto center with the before, during and after purchase service and support.

Just had these Michelin X LT A/S installed today so i won’t be giving a full review now but will later after some miles on the tires. I had always had bad luck with Michelins and said I would never go back to them.

So I’m giving them another try. I usually go with Goodyear or Yokohama tires. They are the best in my opinion. Costco had a sale $150 off, so I researched, looked at reviews etc. Finally decided to go with the Michelins due to wear, gas mileage, quietness, all weather.

So far the ride is quiet, but due that they are brand new I will be updating the tires wear and information as the mileage accrues on the tires at a later date. Hope Michelin has gotten better with customer service, and backing their products, and their tires have gotten better as well.

my last set of Michelin tires 5 years ago, I had issues and never once did Michelin stand by their products, reach out, and their tires didn’t even last the milage they said it would. Thats why I never bought Michelin tires again.

You treat your customer rotten and they will leave. So here’s hopping everything will work out with these new tires!! I am only giving rating of average due that I just got the tire, and will change my review to reflect after more miles put on the tires.

Thank you to the reviewer that listed no road noise as the reason for his purchase of these tires. Based on his recommendation I bought a set and guess what No Road Noise! They have a great grip and look good , too.

Tires arrived very quickly in great shape. Quality tires with a very current date code. Will defiantly purchase from Priority Tire again

After reviewing the Consumer Reports tire ratings, I purchased a set of 4 Michelin Defender T&H tires a few years ago for my Subaru Outback, primarily due to the long tread life warranty of 80,000 to 90,000, and based on the high quiet road noise ratings, as determined during the Consumer Report tire performance testing.

I have been pleased with the performance of these tires overall since the purchase. They provide excellent traction with minimal road noise. It has been my intention to purchase these tires again once the tread wear has worn down to the point where replacement is deemed as necessary.

However, I now have 2/32” or slightly less of tread wear left all four tires as I consider purchasing new tires in the near future. Since these tires were installed, I have driven only 42,042 miles while driving on both highway and local roads.

As a senior citizen I consider my driving habits to be very conservative. I have had these tires rotated as part of every oil change after 6000 miles. My concern is that the Michelin Defender tires have been driven only 1/2 or less of the stated tread life.

I surely expected to be replacing these tires after closer to 80,000 miles, if not 90,000 miles. Again, I like to Michelin Defender tires, however I cannot justify purchasing these tires again due to the very low actual tread life that I have experienced.

I remain disappointed that I will not have these tires for another 40,000 miles at a minimum as was promised by the Michelin tread wear warranty. I hope that this is not typical for all Michelin tires.

I don’t expect that my next tires will be Michelin tires.

We drive a 2018 Kia Niro hybrid. We love the car but we hated the handling in the rain or on any wet ground. The original tires it came with were terrible, but we didn’t realize it was the tires. We thought it was the wheel base.

The car used to hydroplane in any amount of water. Fast forward to the original tires only lasting 2. 5 years and being bald; we sought out new tires. After reading reviews we settled on the Michelin Defender T+H and are we ever glad we did! These new tires are amazing in the rain! The siping disperses water and the car now handles like it’s on dry pavement.

Even in the historic rains that we’ve had in Fraser Valley this past month these tires have been nothing short of amazing. This is probably the first time we have ever taken a vehicle in for maintenance and felt like we truly got a great value for the money spent.

You know how most times you do maintenance, whether it’s tires, oil change, tune up, brakes etc. you take you vehicle in and get it back and it feels and handles exactly the same as before the work was done and you have less money in your account and wonder if the work was really needed? That’s how I have felt every time I have bought new tires, until this purchase.

These tires made a night and day difference in how our car handles. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a long lasting tire with good wet and dry traction. In fact, when my other vehicle needs tires, this is what’s going on it.

I have driven with many different types and makes of tires over the years. When I was younger the only time I could afford to put on a Michelin was when it came with a new vehicle. As I got older I started to respect putting Michelins on my vehicles, as they are a great tire, especially when brand new.

I have found though, that they tend never to last as long as the treadwear says they should. The current set that I have on are under 3 years old. They have less than 80,000 KM’s on them and I will have to very soon replace them.

I have found since they had less than 40,000km’s on them, the grip on wet surfaces started to fade real quickly and so I have had to adjust my speed accordingly and keep a mindful eye in my rear view mirror incase a Semi with a load of wood is coming up fast upon me in the rain.

The tires that I have on are 205 60R16’s Defenders for the summer and x Ice 3’s for winter. I have found that the winter tires are not bad, but they are made for winter and not summer. I wish that I could get a tire that could last close to what is stipulated in the manufactures warrantee.

I would be happy if it would last 80-90% treadwear of what they have said they will last. I do think that they are a great tire, but only for the first 40-50,000 Km’s max. , after that, they should be replaced in my own opinion.

They are about the best in wet rain conditions when new, but they do not last for as long as they say they should. When it is hot out and the roads are hot, they rubber does not last long, but you do have great traction (gas millage I don’t know, but great traction like they are glued to the road), though they wear out faster.

I do recommend them, but be mindful, their treadwear does not last like they say it will, but safety is the most important thing here folk’s, so I guess be ready to replace them much earlier than you want to or expect to.

An excellent all-season or winter changeup tire for almost any application where rain, ice, and moderate snow are factors (a legitimate ‘snowflake’, 3PMSF) while maintaining confidence at high speeds, and enhancing certain performance characteristics such as cornering and braking.

I just ordered the CrossClimate2 to replace a pair of CrossClimate+ on my [FWD] Mazda, not needing to consider another tire, as I recently chose a set of CrossClimate2 on my [AWD] Lexus IS for the new winter set and I could not be happier with them.

You do need to be attentive and work them in properly during the break-in period, as they can be a little loose during that break-in. If you do break them in properly you will have a better chance of being a satisfied Customer, this is true with just about ANY tire.

I suspect some of the complaints around these either do not understand that break-in approach and/or received poor advice – or no advice at all, from their Installers. As far as gas mileage and road noise comments go I would disregard those as the performance and safety of these tires far exceed any inconvenience in those areas, I’ve had dozens of different tires on similar vehicles and these are neither loud nor inefficient gas-wise, long-term.

I gained back my MPG and then some with these compared to multiple other brands. My only complaint of sorts would be the tire/tread life, where I have just over 20k on a pair of CrossClimate+ after approximately 2 years.

That is very low mileage-wise, however,, they have been great through everything nature has thrown at them and even though they have 3-4/32nd left out of the 9/32nds when new, I’m replacing them early for safety concerns instead of trying to squeeze another season or three out of them, which I probably could, but better safe than sorry.

My family drives these cars daily and I’m more comfortable with them having more tread. I am expecting more life out of the CrossClimate2 with 10/32nds new. I will likely post a separate performance-centric review for the CrossClimate2 experience on the Lexus, as I only have a few hundred miles on that vehicle, but so far the results exceed expectations, providing a very stable and consistent ride, better than any of the other tires I’ve ever had on that Lexus.

If anything the tires amplify the driving experience on my vehicles and sometimes that means revealing suspension issues and other inconsistencies in their feedback, the type of precise feedback that less dynamic and responsive tires do not provide.

This is another likely limitation of understanding on the part of some CrossClimate Owners.

I bought a set of these for my 2017 Toyota Highlander as the winter tires I run every winter from mid to late October to mid to late April were down to 5/32s and the Original All Seasons were also worn to 4/32s.

I am hoping to run these until Fall 2023 when I will buy new winter tires again and then run these as “all season Summer tires”. These are listed on here as All Season tires but they have a mountain snowflake symbol so they are “acceptable” for winter use.

Before these arrived at the Canadian Tire store ( had to be ordered in) I read all the reviews on here and became a little worried as I value comfort ( low road noise ) and good fuel consumption characteristics.

My originals tires and the winters I bout 4 winters ago are also Michelin products and I was always happy with them. The winters were quiet and didn’t negatively affect fuel mileage. From new these CrossClimate 2s ( apparently there was a Cross Climate 1??? that might have had some of the issues some reviewers mentioned?????).

were quiet considering the aggressive tread design and my fuel consumption was not affected at all in fact the first couple tank fulls after purchase it seemed very slightly better. The road noise was no more than the almost worn out X Ices that I had one before these and they were quiet tires.

That first review was after about 1500 kms driving on them. Fuel mileage is the same as it always has been, I have noticed with paving season just. over that there is a very slight “whirring” noise of freshly paved smooth pavement which could be the tire or I’m hearing more of the rear “axles” ???? The only other issue is that these tires pick up every rock from a grain of rock salt to a lima bean size.

Most are “flung out” at highway speeds but I am constantly picking them out of the treads as I am one of those people who removes rocks from the treads before tire changeovers every season. That accumulation of small rocks may cause some unwanted road noise but I can’t confirm that it does as I haven’t noticed it.

I hope winter goes easy on us but I may have another review next April or so after using them for winter. The Michelin winters I had stuck well on icy roads but I am expecting to have to use more caution with these.

I should say up front that I have personally driven well over a half a million miles on multiple sets of Michelin pick-up truck and auto tires over the past thirty years, and have been very impressed with the ride, performance, and durability of every set.

Much of those miles were on interstate highways, with lots of surface street travel. So when I bought a set of four Cross Climate II’s three months ago I was very interested in the Cross Climate II tread design and a bit excited to see how it would perform.

Well lets just say I was not disappointed. The first week was dry highway and surface roads, the tires felt great! as have all my previous sets of Michelin tires have. I did get a chance early on to checkout the side wall stability at high speed when I had to dodge some significant road debris (a semi truck leaf spring) at highway speed (75mph).

The Cross Climate II’s responded with true stability and easily passed the high speed road debris dodge test with flying colors. On the third week I was able to check them out in a major down pour, I drove into a rain storm doing 75 mph.

I initially cut my speed back to 60 mph to get a feel of tires meeting the very wet road surface, and they felt great. So with no traffic around I tilted the wheel back and fourth slightly to feel the tread stability while driving on water, and they felt glued to the road, so I being a bit of risk taker I took the speed back up to 75mph and the performance was the same; excellent! So that brings me to today my first drive of the year through three or four inches of icy wet heavy snow, tracking was very good through lane changing.

The Cross Climate II’s handled the snow and slush with no problem. The Cross Climate II Michelin tires deserve five stars and two thumbs up in my book! In closing this review I tell a little story about some advise I overheard when I was younger working American.

I overheard a older work colleague say there was two purchases where quality was imperative and he would never go cheap on; shoes and mattresses, because if not in one your in the other. So when I started driving and purchasing tires I added tires to his adage, so there are three things where quality was imperative and I would never go cheap on; shoes, mattresses and tires, because if not in / on one your in / on the other.

Was looking for a specific tire. This company was the least expensive & best quality. Allowed PayPal for additional site security & free delivery! Tire arrived earlier than expected & brand new! Great process from start to finish! Will be my new go to for all my tire needs.

nice tires for a great price during this inflation period.. they ride pretty decent and road noise is minimal.

Only have 300 miles on them but the ride quality and handling seem to be very good so far. dry and in rain it has been good. The pattern is similar to the continentals it replaces and impressed so far on my 8 cylinder BMW.

Changed two of my tires and on a 2hrs drive my tires were already flat. Then checked why and where it resulted to a flat, I found out that the technician didn’t change the valve. The rim wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

I have been surprised by the performance of this tire. It is quiet and not much harder than normal tires. On snow it was good enough that I could still drive.

The site was extremely easy to navigate. I chose to search by vehicle and it show all tires available for my type of car. I was also able to narrow the search to run flats which is the requires tire for my vehicle since I don’t have a spear.

The tires were shipped the next day and I received them within a week. Great experience great price.

Have these tires on 03 duramax ext cab long bed. They were on the truck when I bought it so they had around 15-20k miles already. So far I’ve put on at this time an addition 35k miles on them. Heck these tires I didn’t rotate after a year cause they didn’t wear hardly so I totally forgot to rotate them unlike mud tires I rotate every 5k miles.

I drove it to north and South Carolina and back and I live in Ohio. It’s a farm truck and gets used from highway to the field. These tires I remind on long bed so there’s very little weight in the rear of the truck so sometimes it spins in very wet grass or mud.

But I’ve had these in the mud and fields and it still crawls out loaded down with hay or whatever is in the bed or attached to the truck. I’ve pulled trucks out of the ditch in snow storms and it actually slid me into a 2.

5 foot ditch and it crawled right out. My friend has these on his dually and he hauls heavy loads of hay and equipment cause he owns a farm and construction business. Those tires can handle a load that is for sure.

He has had 1000s of pounds on a trailer loaded with hay and the trailer was making the truck squat a lot and it’s an 2018 F350 dually and those tires took the load and drove the truck right out of the field.

Only complaint is they kinda dry rot but still hold air and they’ve been on the truck over 3 years now and it’s just now starting to get low tread to the point of needing replaced. They’ve served very well.

Hydro plains a little bit but I’m running 12. 5 wide so that doesn’t help. But even on low tread is still pulls great in the rain and snow. I’d recommend these tires if you want them to last and want something that can get the job done and take a beating.

There are videos of the truck on TikTok doing donuts in the field and pictures of it on Instagram loaded down with hay. I can’t figure out how to add a photo or I would on here. I pull on average 20+ miles a gallon on the high way and around 15ish in the country on 325-17-12.

5 tires in an 03 duramax.

I have now put just over 1400 miles on these tires in the past two weeks. On Dry roads the steering response is accurate, immediate, and quick (no hesitations noted. Traveling 70 and 75 miles per hour on highway the tires are very quite.

if I turn off the radio, close the windows and shut down the AC/heat I can hear a very slight noise from the undercarriage but once a turn on the radio or the heat/ac even at the lowest settings the noise is gone.

open the window and you can’t hear anything but the wind. The RAIN, I road though about 200 miles of rain all at highway speeds of 55 to 70 miles per hour. Some of the rain was heavy and some areas slowed down to less than a drizzle.

I never real worry about heavy rain as that in itself washes the oils from the black top away but the fine rain seems to make for a more slippery road, in my opinion. These tires tracked beautifully though both the heavy and the fine rain and at 55 to 70 miles per hour for both.

I always felt in control of my vehicle. The Dirt Roads – I was in the mountains this past week also on hard pack dirt roads. This included dirt roads with a lot of loose gravel (steep inclines and downhills) to deep ruts too include water and ruts from Gas Drilling Company which then started to turn those deep ruts into a slippery mud fest.

These tires handled every single dry condition with ease and that was in 2WD. The heavy ruts and water (from gas drilling company in PA Mountains – Lycoming county) I do admit I was not chancing sliding as the edge of that area in our mountains is a 100′ drop-off so I was in 4WD for that condition and felt totaling in control and secured footing as it were.

I was supper impressed and my last AT tires did not perform anywhere near as well as the Toyo OC AT3. The ruts were only 6′ to 10′ deep and the mud was only surface type mud not the kind the mud truck guys go looking for on weekends.

I do not have a rating for ICE and snow as I have not been in theses conditions as of yet but winter is coming and I’m sure I will have several occasions this year to deal with snow and ice coming up shortly.

When I do I’ll log back in and update for those conditions. As I only have just over 1400 miles on the tires I do not have a clue as to the treadwear ability for these and as they are new this year my guess would be we all have to wait a couple of years before we will all know for sure.

That being said they are rated at 600 for a 65,000 mile tire so I would expect them to wear well, at least I hope they do. I also list the Fuel Efficiency as Excellent. I can’t tell you I noticed any variation in gas miles and for the other guys and gals out there driving trucks , really who cares.

If I want great gas miles I would have bought a Prius, I want a truck and I willfully except the Gas miles what ever it may be. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and just as a side note for all those that place a high price on looks.

they do look great on my truck. tire size – 265-65R-17 – yes my truck has a 2″ front leveling kit that allows for the bigger tires. no rubbing at extreme turning radiuses. Great Job Toyo.

I recently purchased the Toyo Open Country AT 3’s after a lot of research of several brands. I can tell you that I highly recommend these Open Countries. They have a far smoother ride than the OEM tires that came on my truck.

They handle great and perform terrific in the rain with no issues at all on spinning or slipping. Have not had them in snow yet but look forward to trying them out this winter. Off road they perform better than your average all terrain.

You do have the side lugs to give a better bite, but they will at times cake up in the treads. But I’ve seen buckshot mudders do that as well, so I’m not knocking the Open Countries at all. Fuel mileage to be honest I haven’t noticed a difference and I keep a close check on MPG with every tank and always have.

They have an aggressive look to them without being all mud tires and there is very minimal road noise on these tires. With the radio on you can not hear them as it’s just a very light road hum and it’s no problem having a conversation with the radio turned down or off.

If your in the market for a great hybrid ( all terrain and a basic mud tire combined) tire as I call them get you a set of these Open Countries you will not be sorry. Toyo has my business going forward for all my vehicles.
