MichelinEnergy Saver A/S Michelin North America’s most fuel-efficient car tire. The All-Season Passenger Energy Saver A/S is the tire for drivers of hybrid and fuel-efficient passenger cars that want to maximize fuel economy without giving up traction on dry, wet and wintertime surfaces.
Earning the status of Michelin Green X technology, Energy Saver A/S tires can increase the efficiency of vehicles performance while lowering the environmental impact all while reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
Building on the technologies of the Michelin Energy Saver summer tires, the Energy Saver A/S All-Season Passenger car tire offers exceptionally low rolling resistance at or below the levels offered the original counterpart while delivering year-round traction, even in light snow.
To improve engine fuel efficiency by keeping the tire at a lower temperature, The Energy Saver A/S features Michelin’s EnergySaver Construction combined with a unique silica-based tread rubber. The compound is molded into a symmetric design that has siped, independent tread blocks to provide predictable handling, no compromise stopping performance and all-season traction all without giving up fuel efficiency.
To lessen the chance of hydroplaning and help with wet traction, the circumferential and lateral grooves direct water through the tread design. The Energy Saver provides reduced vibrations and offers a quieter ride with less road noise thanks to the Michelin Comfort Control Technology.
It uses computer-optimized design and precision. The tire’s internal structure also has twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide on top of a polyester cord casing to combine strength, efficiency and comfort.
Purchased these tires after the factory supplied Michelin Primacy tires had to be replaced at 42,000 miles. I have put just less than 30,000 miles on these tires and have been told they should be replaced and have only about 2,000 miles remaining and that I shouldn’t plan any long trips.
I have used Michelin tires on all of my vehicles for quite some time, but don’t understand why they seem to under perform. Tires are maintained well and rotated by the dealer at each oil change. Since the vehicle is a Hybrid, I prefer the fuel efficient tires, but they lose their advantage and appeal when they have to be replaced in such a short period.
Not sure what I’m going to replace these with, but overall cost of ownership may win out over brand loyalty when the tires underperform so horribly.
2020 Bolt with factory Michelin tires, 17,000 miles, picked up very small pan head screw. Our tire dealer could not fix a self seal and replacement would be $270. Chevy dealer said it was not under warranty even though our warranty book said tires were included and had a prorated replacement chart.
Chevy dealer said they could not fix it and we would have to buy a new tire, full price. Any normal tire would have been fixed and back on road for $40. Still working on this two days later. Michelin rep said it was a road hazard and even though in center of tread and under 1/4″ it was not covered.
So much for all the self seal hype and Michelin and Chevy standing behind their products.
I have had the tires for 24,700 miles now and just noticed that 2 tires are beginning to fail. Both failing tires have small side wall bulges appearing. The tires do not show any damage (scrapes or dents).
I will say that I do like the overall performance and tread life I have experience with the tires all tires have even wear and have been rotated every 7,500 miles and balanced checked every 15,000. Unfortunately they are outside the range for my road hazard warranty and due to the sidewall failure they wont last anywhere near the expected/rated 65,000 miles.
Until they strengthen/reinforce the tire I do not think I will be buying another set.

The Turanza QuietTrack helps deliver control in wet conditions and is built to provide long-lasting performance for 130 000 km.
I got this rating request before I installed the tires. so the tires as great, round and black. The smell like rubber as well. Joking aside, I ordered the tires on Monday am from Edmonton, and they were delivered to my door in Winnipeg Wednesday am, which was amazing!.
Dynapro AT2 RF11 has designed to provide superior performance both on and off road and comes in more sizes. The Hankook Dynapro AT2 RF11 has improved all-terrain performance and delivers a quieter ride compared to the AT-M RF10.
The biting edges and dual shoulder lugs give it extra durability and add enhanced puncture and cut resistance. The aero shoulder technology further reduces noise for optimum on road driving. You can take this tire anywhere with its M+S rating and 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol indicating it is rated for severe snow service.
I ordered these and mounted them myself in the shop I work at. They were well balanced to begin with, only took 1/2oz weights. We had a storm by Lake Superior that brought 20-50 inches depending on where you’re at.
After I mounted the tires, the grip was so good that I took it out of 4×4 and haven’t engaged it since. The diagonal tread pattern rolls nicely to keep them quiet and the rubber is soft enough to grab in the slippery conditions.
After I mounted them, I made sure the alignment was correct (which it was), then driving down the road tracks straight as an arrow. Hardly any steering corrections. The price was more reasonable than most local locations in the area and did they had to be ordered so why no the order them myself, right?.
I probably saved $300-$400. I was recommended to this site and I will shop here again, and have recommended to friends, family, even strangers! Sent the old tires to recycling and I’ll probably order another to have a full size spare on hand.
Westlake Radial Sl369 A/t Features AND BENEFITS All weather traction All terrain traction Reduced road noise levels OVERVIEW The Westlake Radial Sl369 A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
The tread pattern design enhances the all weather traction. The large, different shaped tread blocks and the open shoulder design manage to provide firm grip on dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability.
This tread design also increases the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The variable tread blocks maintain a clean footprint by eliminating snow from the tread grooves.
This combination ensures a safer driving experience in all conditions. The model performs well both on and off-road. The tread design’s large tread blocks, open shoulders and wide tread grooves boost the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction with ease.
The tread design firmly grip of the road in all terrain conditions, making it more versatile and safer to use. The variable tread blocks manages to evacuate mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements.
This keeps the tire’s road contact at all times, while preventing stone retention which can potentially harm the tire’s casing. The tire’s maintained road contact, both on and off-road, ensures a secure controllability.
The large tread blocks firmly grip the road surface which increase the steering responsiveness. As a result, the tire is faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands. The better control over the tire ensures a safer all terrain and all weather performance.
The Radial Sl369 A/T offers a quiet and comfortable on-road drive. The variable tread block shapes decrease the on-road tread noise by creating a sound frequency that negates the road and tread noise during the drive.
This result is lower levels of noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin and an enjoyable drive.
I have a set of these tires on my 2011 Dodge Dakota Big Horn and they look great. The sidewalls look good and they have a decent tread pattern and appear they will do fine in mud and snow. They’re not too loud on the highway and I feel safe and secure with these tires.
The price was reasonable so I’m happy. I purchased the lifetine balancing and rotation package, just $2. 00 more a tire and am glad that I did because they were not balanced properly the first time.
I did order a set of these tires from another vendor. However those tires paled in comparison to Priority tires. I needed a rear driver side tire replaced, previous vendor would not replace under warranty so I had to purchase another tire.
The new tire from you guys was a much better quality same name and size this tire is more aggressive, now I want the other 3 tires from Priority. Great Product !!.
This is the 3rd full set of Westlake tires I’ve bought for 3 different vehicles. I used to sell tires for another company for 20 years. My own opinion is that you can’t buy a better made tire than Michelin.
If you can afford them. Until I bought my first set of Westlake. A lot of people will touch and handle a new tire to try and get an idea if they are going to like them or not. I’m no different. Overall these tires are seem very well constructed.
Then next thing that points me in that direction is when they are balanced. I’ve now mounted and balanced 3 sets of Westlake tires. A set of standard load range B. A set of heavier load range E. And a set of All Terrains.
All 3 sets, on most of the tires only required one wheel weight on one side of the tire. Usually under 2 ounces. The others that required weights on inside and outside was about 2 ounces total. I also pay close attention to the UTQG ratings on the side of the tires.
The last set I mounted had a rating of over 500 for treadwear, which is outstanding. Traction was rated A and temperature was rated A as well. As a rule of thumb, and I may be wrong but it’s how I always figured it, was that the treadwear number you could double it and, under ideal conditions (keeping it aligned, balanced, rotated regularly and proper air pressure) the figure you come up with is how many miles you could expect.
In the case of the 500 rated tires, you could expect 100,000 miles from those tires. Traction is rated A, B or C. It’s the tires ability to stop, in a straight line on a wet road. “A” being the best.
Temperature is the tires ability to resist heat buildup while driving. Again “A” being the best. The A B C ratings doesn’t mean the C rated tires are junk, though. C is the minimum standard they all have to pass by government test standards.
The Westlake tires I’ve bought so far are the best riding and handling tires I’ve used in a long time. I wish all tires were made as good as this brand.

Accelera Phi. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Quiet driving experience; Fuel efficient tire; All weather traction; Enhanced controllability;. OVERVIEW: The Accelera Phi is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
– The tires tread design and tire compound ensure a more fuel efficient drive. The lightweight compound and the dynamic medium lateral grooves work together to decrease the tires rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tires in motion.
The lower the rolling resistance the less the vehicles fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will be. This makes the tire environmentally friendly and fuel conscious at the same time. – The tire offers excellent all weather traction.
The all weather tire compound and dual zone asymmetric tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexibility in various temperatures, while the asymmetric tread breaks the tire up into a dry and wet/winter weather zones.
These guarantee exceptional traction in all weather situations. The five wide circumferential grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. – The model is easily controlled.
The driving stability and steering responsiveness are guaranteed throughout the tires life. The straight center rib secures the model against the driving pressure affecting it, while the tread designs stiff tread ribs ensure an increased steering responsiveness and precision.
As a result, the tire is stable during the drive and its steering responsiveness to the drivers commands is quick and precise. The tread designs shoulder tread block sequences also boost the controllability by providing additional biting edges for cornering and maneuvering situations.
In such cases, the tire firmly grips the road, increasing the cornering ability and power. – The Phi offers a comfortable and quiet driving experience. The shoulder tread blocks create a variable pitch sequence that cancel out the road noise.
The road noise is decreased while the tires are in motion, as the variable pitch sequence creates a sound frequency that negates it. The result is an enjoyable, road noise free drive. – Below is a list of some popular vehicles that 255/45R19 tires may fit depending on Year & Option.
However the list does not cover all vehicle’s that these tires can fit: Audi A8 Quattro; Audi A8 Quattro L; Audi A8 Quattro L Plug-In Hybrid; Audi A8 Quattro L Sport; Audi A8 Quattro L TDI; Audi A8 Quattro L W12; Audi A8 Quattro TDI; Audi S7 Sportback; Bentley Arnage R; Bentley Arnage RL; Bentley Arnage Red Label; Bentley Arnage T; Bentley Azure; Chevrolet SSR; Ford Taurus Limited; Ford Taurus SEL; Ford Taurus SHO; Lincoln Continental; Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition; Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition; Lincoln Continental Livery; Lincoln Continental Reserve; Lincoln Continental Select; Lincoln MKS; Lincoln MKS Eco – Boost; Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 43; Porsche Panamera; Porsche Panamera 4; Porsche Panamera 4 Edition; Porsche Panamera 4S; Porsche Panamera 4S Executive; Porsche Panamera Edition; Porsche Panamera Exclusive; Porsche Panamera GTS; Porsche Panamera S; Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid; Porsche Panamera S Hybrid; Porsche Panamera Turbo; Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive; Porsche Panamera Turbo S; Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive; Tesla 3; Tesla 3 Long Range; Tesla Y Long Range; Tesla Y Standard Range; Volkswagen Tiguan Highline; Volkswagen Tiguan United;.
Accelera Phi-R FEATURES AND BENEFITS All weather traction Reduced fuel consumption Precise steering responsiveness Reduced road noise levels OVERVIEW The Accelera Phi-R is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This model offers excellent all weather road grip and its traction is superb in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread elements and the tire compound work together to boost the year round traction and to maintain tire tires flexibility even in colder temperatures.
The tread grooves help make the driving experience safer by channeling water and slush from below the footprint of the tire, thus avoiding dangerous hydroplaning. The tire has a lowered rolling resistance thanks to the reduced weight of the tire.
This contributes to two enhancements. Firstly, the lowered rolling resistance decreases the fuel usage of the vehicle, as it does not need a lot of energy to keep the tire in motion. Secondly, it slows down the tread wear rate of the tire, as the driving pressure is eased off of the tread.
These aspects make the tire more economic and environmentally friendly. Even at high speeds, this model performs exceptionally well. The improved driving stability of the tire and its precise steering responsiveness provides extra safety.
The tire is easily controlled and it responds to the commands of the driver quickly and precisely. The upgraded cornering ability and power also boost the high speed driving safety of the tire. The tire grips the road and provides first-rate traction in cornering and maneuvering situations.
The Phi-R is a quiet and comfortable tire. The road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle is reduced by the additional sipes in the tread pattern which channel the soundwaves through the model’s footprint, making an enjoyable driving experience.
The Roadian MTX features an aggressive design that is extremely versatile for on- and off-road driving. Each tire boasts a dual sidewall design that allows you to customize the look of the tire on your vehicle.
The Roadian MTX also features a standard 3-Ply design and F-Load weight rating that makes it extremely capable for heavy hauling. With such rugged traits you wouldnt expect the Roadian MTX to be as quiet as it is on the highway, but thanks to its patented tread block design the road noise has been minimized.
I purchased my first set last year. Truck was in the shop for major repairs most of the time very low miles. Road well for the first 2k. Then horrible vibrations at 40 to 70. Noticeably after tire was driving some distance and heated up.
Finally after many times back and forth to shop paying alot for balance. Problems were spotted. Sidewalls had bubbles in different locations. Not to mention after further inspection during warranty exchange I found 2 tires manufacturerd dates were not matching the other two.
Almost a Year appart. So now I wait after making the mistake of trusting Nexun manufacturer again and buying another set I’m having the same problem! Plus this set the rubber is extremely soft chipping off in chunks.
I’m very unhappy after spending 2400 in tires plus 650 in mounting and attempted balancing. Not to mention down time. Shame I bought tires for jeep and another truck from them no issues but different brands.
If they stand behind these NEXEN tires I’m more than happy to change my review. Please Step up tire buyer.
Very loud tires. As in “I can’t hear the radio” loud. But for a pure offroad, trail tire, they’re a great value. I replaced them with Nankang Mudstars which were far superior but I can’t find them anywhere now.
I would buy the Nexens again for offroad use but definitely not for a daily driver. One of them took a hilarious amount of weight to balance.

You can take this tire anywhere with its M+S rating and 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol indicating it is rated for severe snow service.
The tires themselves seem decent, but installation is a nightmare. I went to my local store on Friday and they were busy, so I scheduled a Monday appointment. On Monday, I show up on time to have the tires installed that were delivered to me.
The rep goes outside to look at my vehicle and the tires purchased from Walmart. He says my inspection is expired and they can’t install. So I said that’s why I am getting new tires, I can’t get an inspection without new tires.
Now if they told me this on Friday when I went to the store to make my appointment and they looked at my truck then, I could have removed the wheels and put them in my van and brought them to separately to be installed.
Because if the wheels aren’t on a vehicle they will install them. So they wasted my time. They use this as an excuse because what you have is a bunch of lazy employees that prefer to hang out and smoke weed rather than work.
They will look for any excuse not to work. As somebody who does all their own mechanical and has also owned a business for 22 years, I know when somebody is making excuses. I went over to STS Mavis Tire and Auto right after leaving Walmart Farmingdale NY and STS Tire.
Mounted on a Chevy Colorado 2WD. I am located in SW Colorado so my needs were snow, sand, and long gravel roads with sharp rocks. The tires have a wide/proud stance. Great side wall protection when aired down.
I really like the shoulder pattern as I feel it will last. They have abundant siping in all directions for winter grip. Just spent the weekend with them in Butler Wash, Utah were we established trust.
No road noise or noticeable fuel milage loss. I feel they are a well built tire. They have an aggressive look as well as getting the job done. *Made in the USA.
It was designed to combine durability, smooth handling, ride quality and traction including in snow. The AVID TOURING-S uses Yokohama’s Tri-plex Tread Compound to present all-season traction and long tread life.

GT Radial Adventuro At3 Features AND BENEFITS Quiet ride Rim protector sidewalls Self-cleaning tread On-road driving stability All weather traction All terrain performance OVERVIEW The GT Radial Adventuro AT3 is an all season, all terrain tire manufactured for SUV and light truck vehicles.
This all season tire has excellent all weather traction, even in light snow. Its road grip was enhanced by the improved tire compound, which grips the road well in all weather conditions. The tire’s tread grooves are designed in a way that they channel water from beneath the footprint of the tire, assisting in resisting hydroplaning.
The tire also has excellent grip on all surface conditions and continues to perform well, even on loose or soft surfaces. Its high speed and highway stability are due to the special tread design. This same design helps eject stones and rocks from between the tread blocks as the 3D grooves clean themselves while also providing excellent off-road performance.
The tire’s sidewall offers protection for the rim and guards it from accidental curb damage. This, along with the slower wear of the tread, results in a longer lasting tire. The Adventuro AT3’s five-pitch technology helps reduce the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle during on-road driving, by channeling the soundwaves through the tread pattern.
This offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Great tread pattern, warranty, and price point. I live in east TN mountains, travel a lot, and have a 30 ft pull behind RV. Have to use a reliable tire for overall use, and seasons. Ram takes a 265 but I always step up to 285 for wider traction and height.
Not a 4×4 so I need that sure grip and water dispersement.

My wife purchase her 2019 Honda Accord Touring from the Honda dealership brand new May or June of 2019. The vehicle came with the Energy Saver tires which are rated for 65k but, with only about 30k on them they are very close to needing to be replaced.
The other day when I was rotating the tires I noticed that the tread was near the rubber bump / marker indicator that lets you know when you need to replace the tires. Being around 30k and the tires rated for 65k that isn’t very good at all.
Take into consideration also that the car is a 2019 and it’s 2021 and the tire needs to be replaced already. I’ve always had good experiences with Michelins but, this set / model isn’t very good at all.
2014 Camry LE – came with 205/65R16 OEM Michelin Energy Saver tires. Just under 65K miles at this point and the tires are doing great. No issues whatsoever. Rotated once a year when I take the car in for an oil change.
I’ve kept them properly inflated (mostly just checking the air pressure – it has been a rare occasion when I’ve had to add a pound or two). They obviously are worn at this point but not below legal tread depth.
I’m not quite ready to replace them yet but I’m planning on buying another set of the same Michelin Energy Saver tire when I do.

Drivers will notice exceptional steering and handling with its asymmetric tread pattern.
This is good tires for this price. Tires has good traction on dry roads, but this tires has medium traction on wet roads. If heavy rain, this tires has bad traction!!!! This is fair tires for this price.
Tires low medium noise! Of course this tires better, than chinese tires!!!.
The INVO – tread technology without compromise. This ultra-high performance tire refused to compromise on performance ride refinement or quality. State-of-the-art computer engineering and digital audio testing equipment produced a tread pattern that reduces perceived road noise provides excellent comfort and delivers exceptional traction in both dry and wet conditions.
The result – a tread pattern that is unique and functional.
I have run 2 sets of Nitto Invo’s on my 2002 Trans Am Ram Air WS. 6 when they first came out. Only received around 18k-21K per set. I have run a set on a 2006 and 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8. 2006 had 600 HP at the wheels.
Excellent handling and bead does not roll in turns. Currently have a 2013 Chevy Camaro ZL1 heavily modded 805 at crank. I have been able to hit over 37K and still rolling on them. I have found from when they first came out till now the quality and longevity has improved.
Just a foot note as you may think the tire is ready to change run it longer as I was going to change them 3 months ago but kept running them just to see how far I can go. Daily driver. Pros: virtually no noise for the tread pattern.
Great design and appearance with a 315/35/ZR20 foot print on the rear it is fat Great Charity Lap tires on the track (not full all out track tire) Longevity over most ZR rated tires Great grip in rain Cons: Any time under 55 degrees will not stick on power (but corning is fine at highway temps/speeds) Outer edge front tires always wears (confirmed alignment is good) running 295/35ZR20 front Expensive usta to be very competitively priced etched up in the years Scary in snow and ice.
but tire not designed for this type of driving Run 32psi in front 295/35ZR20 (stock is 285/35ZR20) and 34psi in rear 315/35ZR20 (stock is 305/35ZR20) always nitro fill.
Tapered rain channels and circumferential grooves. Offers confident maneuverability and minimizes pattern noise utilizes extra sipes and variable tread block size to keep road noise low for a comfortable, quiet ride work in tandem to accelerate water evacuation cross traction sipes.

Provides increased tread life and improved traction through a combination of advanced cap, base and buttress compounds creates a tighter bead-to-rim fit for increased durability, improved handling and a smoother ride.
Bridgestone Turanza El400-02 Features AND BENEFITS All weather traction Hydroplaning resistance Longer lasting tread life Puncture resistant High speed durability Enhanced steering responsiveness Road noise-free drive OVERVIEW The Bridgestone Turanza El400-02 is an all season touring tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire’s special compound and tread pattern help improve its all weather traction and it enhances its road grip in dry, wet and light winter conditions. The tire’s wide tread grooves enhance its wet weather traction and prevent hydroplaning by channeling water from below the footprint of the model.
Its exceptional traction and road grip help increase the safety levels of the tire in all road conditions. The new and improved tread pattern lowers the possibility of irregular wear on the tire. This is made possible as the tread maintains constant contact with the road and equally spreads out the driving force across the tread.
This even distribution provides balanced tread wear throughout the tire’s life. The tire’s internal steel belt structure also enhances the tread, as it makes it resistant to accidental punctures and damages.
The even wear on the tire and its puncture resistance extend the tread’s life. The steel belt structure also improves the tire’s driving durability, as it maintains the tire’s shape under the driving pressure.
This, along with the special, rounder tire shape, increase the driving balance of the model in all weather and road conditions. The tire is capable of performing better because of this. The driver’s control over the model was also improved on both wet and dry road surfaces.
The contemporary tread design offers precise steering responsiveness, and the tire responds swiftly and accurately to the driver’s commands. The Turanza El400-02 offers a quiet driving experience. The 5 degree noise reduction system lowers the road noise by cancelling out the sound waves generated by the tire while driving.
I mounted these tires on a 2015 Mercedes S550 4matic. They have some road noise to them. They balanced pretty easy. Difficult to mount on rim and dismount because they are run flats. Use some soap when mounting them to make it easier.
I would much prefer continental or Michelin for Mercedes but this is the tire that came on the car from factory and there is no spare tire so we are forced to use the run-flat. Overall a good tire but they do prematurely wear out which is the reason why I change the original set that only has 25,000 miles on them.
You must keep up with rotating and tire pressure to get the maximum mileage out of them.
We have always purchased these tires for my car since the day we bought it back in 2008 and will continue to do so. They wear evenly and last! Great ride and terrific traction for all weather conditions.
