I had these installed on my 2009 Toyota Corolla. I am also highly pleased with the service center that installed them. They had these on hand so I had no need to order them and wait. I was skeptical about their price point hoping there wasn’t a reason these were the best value but I went ahead and did it anyway.

Great choice on my part because these tires have changed the ride comfort of my 09 Corolla, the difference is night and day. The little money I spent and how effortless it seemed to have happened is more than enough to earn a great review for my experience.

Don’t get me wrong, the price is not the only reason I am excited, these things ride like a dream. All in all, I am highly delighted. 10/10 Would highly recommend these for you too.

I bought these tires for a 2018 Toyota Camry. On the 27th November 2020, I drove over 700 miles, in the rain, at speed up to 80mph. These tires performed extremely well! The vehicle always felt well grounded even passing through puddles that only caught the tires on one side of the vehicle.

The tires offload water so well that the vehicle tracked true and never pulled one way out the other as I passed through puddles at high speeds. Overall, I would definitely recommend these tires.

Overall a good value. I am a spirited driver, with that said. Likes: Quiet, rides soft, look nice, good in wet conditions, only “okay” traction in the corners when pushed. Dislikes: very, very soft sidewall, so aggressive steering inputs are met with significant sidewall flex.

My car went from feeling like a stiff riding slot car to a soft 70’s Cadillac/floppy chicken when I installed these tires! They only handle “okay” at best when pushed and have serious flex. I have about 4k on mine now and should mention I haven’t tried them in snow yet.

I’m not sure how well they will wear either at this point, so no comment in that dept either. If you’re looking for cheap tires and aren’t a spirited driver in the corners, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with these tires for an everyday beater.

They are quiet and ride nice if you’re looking for a soft ride. If you’re looking for responsive tires to push in the corners, THESE ARE NOT THE TIRES FOR YOU!.

I purchased these tyres purely to have a tyre I could daily and get good performance on track days. The amount of extra grip is incredible over a pure street tyre. I have had the tyres on for approximately 1200km and 1 track day so cannot yet rate the tread wear.

Noise and comfort is somewhere above the middle however I am finding it easy to live with on a daily basis. The performance gained on track is worth the extra noise. I have not pushed the tyres in the wet however driving to the speed limit and driving sensibly in very wet weather, I have not run into any problems, standing water and water running over the road may need extra precautions taken.

These tyres have exceeded my expectation so far.

Not the original tyre that I ordered, I originally went for the Kuhmo Ecsta semi slick which I know are incredible value for money. I was then forced to pay an extra fee because Tyroola wrongfully stated that they had the Kuhmo semi slick in stock, which I then received not only an order confirmation but a shipping consignment to say the Kuhmo tyre was sent, then I was forced to pick another tyre, and I also had to pay for them extra even though it was at my own inconvenience that the tyres I wanted weren’t in stock.

Thats not how business should be run, if you claim you have something and its successfully purchased through your service, you should then cover the cost of whatever tyre is then chosen in replacement of what was said to be had.

Quite pathetic and disappointed to say the least.

Sidewalls of my Firestone Firehawks GT are severely cracking on my 2018 Charger r/t. Mileage is 16,500. Tons of tread left. but these tires will not pass inspection. This is nothing else but brand failure.

First, to set the record: Tirebuyer is a great place to buy tires. That is, if you already know your tire. I had previously bought Dunlop Tires, and was trying to re-order. Ah, but they don’t carry Dunlops anymore.

So, here is the problem with buying tires online. I ended up buying this Firestone Tire, sight unseen. Hands-down, this is the WORST tire I have ever bought/driven in over five decades of driving!!!!! The tires “roar” down the road with a sound akin to a bench grinder: humming so loud the interior of the car is a deafening cavern.

The vibrations even come up the steering column. Interestingly, of all the previous reviews, only ONE other customer wrote a negative report. and this one also spoke of “the noise. ” I am telling you: this is the worst tire on the market for noise.

But, I give kudos to Tirebuyer: 1. ) if you know what you are buying, this is the place to buy, and; 2. ) They stand by their 100% return guarantee. Trouble is, I am now out the Installation/Mounting Fee twice over for the Firestone tires, and now ones I have ordered to replace them.

So much for any savings!!!!! I have LOST a ton of money on this deal. BOTTOM LINE: these Firestone tires are pure 100% garbage. not even worth using to set fires at a riot!!!! LOL!!!!!.

Far as tire it’s great, mounted and balanced easily. Price and shipping combined was alot lower then going to the local tire shop to get them. Shipping was fast got them within a few days of my order.

This is my 2nd order from them, different vehicle though.

I ordered on impulse because I don’t ‘need’ another Enhancer. I wear the Jai sunburst a lot and love it. A while back I had ordered the circle flower enhancer with gold accents to match my Jai flower ring and bracelet but there was no contrast or oxidation so back it went.

Scott must’ve read the reviews and boy this new one doesn’t lack for oxidation! You can clearly see all of the beautiful details. ( wish it had a bit of gold though). I really like that it is at an angle to sit more diamond shaped.

It looks amazing on all of my Jai box chains. This ones a keeper!.

Garbage OEM tires. I have a 2020 VW Arteon with 20 inch wheels. These tires should not be on any low profile car. I hit a pothole which not only blew out both passenger side tires, but dented my front passenger rim ($800 replacement).

The side walls are ridiculously thin and incapable, which is a shame because they drive nice and have good grip in bad weather. I am confident that with a different brand, they would have saved my rim.

I have the old blown out tire and a brand new Kuhmo Ecsta PA51 with identical dimensions. Not only are the kuhmos beefier width, more protective of the rim curbside, but the side walls are night and day different in terms of durability.

Pressing lightly on the Continental side wall has obvious, stretchy give. The kuhmo does not budge, and feels like body armor. Oh and the Kuhmos are even a couple bucks cheaper! It’s a shame my spare was also a Continental, as I had to buy another to match the blown out 4th.

My spare is going to be the Kuhmo, and I will upgrade to all Kuhmos once these tires wear out. VW should reconsider this partnership with continental, as they are junk in my opinion and I will never buy, or recommend the brand.

These tires installed on my model 3 from factory. I have to say that they lasted 50,000 miles on my car and I still had some thread left. Was still able to pass inspection with them. But was time for replacement.

I m not too convinced that the installed foam reduce the road noise that much but Road handling is very good in dry and wet weather but snow in the other hand was questionable higher than an inch. these tires on a model 3 I think its a good match.

any other brand may possibly wont last as long as these did. Yes they are brands substantially less money and I had used them on other vehicles I had owned in the past and I was usually averaging around 30,000 + miles of life with them.

but if you own a Tesla model 3 you Know that the car accelerates and pulls hard and brakes quickly. For a car that weighs heavier than usual its hard on the tires. Im also a spirited driver which doesnt help.

These tires in my Opinion will hold up for that particular car. I highly recommend.

I was told when I bought a Tesla that because the car doesn’t have an engine and other parts that normally require maintenance or service that the tires would be all I’d have to worry about. This turned out to be correct.

These tires do not protect the rims and they are prone to sidewall gashes if they hit a curb. I’ve hit curbs by accident before, but never ever damaged a tire. I recently wanted to replace theses tires but the tire is not available and Tesla only reccomends a Michelin tire with a lesser warranty.

The tires and rims on this car were very expensive and if I could I go back, I would have selected a smaller rim and a different tire. I found out that keeping them inflated higher than the specs: at 45 psi instead of 42, according to the tire place I visit maybe better for the cars battery range as well.

These can be good tires, but I had some problems with them. 1) after install they were great. excellent wet and dry traction, decent snow traction (fwd car), they rolled quietly and looked good. 2) about 3 months in started to get some road noises form them, nothing too crazy but they were making some more noise than the previous tires i had.

3) fast forward to today. these tires had developed some weird tread wear , so i took them into gooddyear shop and had alignment checked, suspension and road test. goodyear said it was coming from the tires and all my specs were perfect.

4) walmart will pro-rate me a refund based on tire wear, which they havent worn out except on the inside track (choppy, bumpy, inside tread, almost like cupping but some tread paths are worn while some arent???) hard to describe but it also causes some minute shakes on highway.

5) so just be careful and mindful if u purcgase these tires they can be awesome or in a slim chance you could develope issues like mine.

Cant give a review on the tires yet because i only have 2 of 4. I will give a review on the company. When I purchased the tires the it had a delivery date of 12/26 which i was good with. i got 2 tires on the 27 and no one knew where the other 2 were.

first i was told they were in the hub and would be delivered later that day, that didnt happen, then i was told they would be delivered the next day and again no tires. then i was told the tires were coming from 2 different warehouses in the same town and would be to me within a couple of days, well we are now passed a couple of days and tire wont be here until the 7th, and i really dont believe that.

this is the first and last time i buy from this company. could have had the tires by now if ordered from another place.

Great price on this champiro GT radial tire, at around 55 USD its hard to beat. Rollback prices baby!! These are rotational tires, meaning they should only spin in one direction. Great dry road traction, great wet road traction.

Snow i haven’t been able to test, just got them put on a couple weeks ago. Smooth ride, not the most quiet tires on the road but definitely not very loud either. At 70 mph they do start to become noticeably louder on the highway but not that bad.

You can’t hear them at all under 50 mph just at higher speeds you will notice a slight humming. (My wheel bearing are brand new btw) This wasn’t a deal breaker considering price but if you are very picky about road noise you might want to re-evaluate the cost/quality relationship.

Other than the minimal road noise at higher speeds i recommend these tires as a cost effective solution to your worn out old tires. Great buy.

I consider myself a tire snob. I believe that good tires will prevent a lot of misfortunes. Tires are the life-line that saves us from accidents. Continental Tires are a great brand. The ProContact RX SSR is another great option to their lineup of quality proven tires.

They look and perform great. I do recommend the Continental ProContact RX SSR over others.

BAD BAD BAD – I have now had 2 sets of tires bought separately from tire rack fail. Both front sets had less then 80 mikes on them before DELAMINATION occurred Both the front left ( driver ) and then the front right ( passenger ) DELAMINATED – all the tread ripped off at speed while driving yet still held AIR Latest tire to do this was DOT stamped 2321 so MAY 2021 – not very safe – if you ask me.

I have a C7 Z06 A8, and I wanted better straightline performance for summer street driving. I put less than 5k miles on the car a year so not worried about tread life. Interestingly, I have Toyo Sports on the front in 285/35R19, while the R888R on the rear in 345/30R19.

Notice the rear are not the standard 20” that come on the car. I got Z06 19” reproduction replicas wheels for the rear. The pair work fantastic together at any speed. I really tested that. There is a very low noise from the rear tires at cruising speeds, but since I have Toyo Sports in the front I don’t even notice it since the low noise is behind me.

More over the exhaust drowns our any sound a WOT. I would describe the sound as the sound you hear when you’re inside a vacuum tight house and the wind is howling outside but it’s really low. This pair, Sports with R888R, is my go-to pair hence forth.

My original Michelin’s only had 3. 5k miles on them when I swapped out, so I have those as spares.

These tires wear out fast but they’re not intended to last; Their engineered to grip and holy crap do they grip! Dry/wet it doesn’t matter with these tires; They come up to temp extremely fast and hook up; I’ve run quite a few “performance” tires and these are the best so far and I will continue to just replace them every 4k miles and love every mile! My r8 isn’t a daily but it get hammered at least three times per week and every trip is a “track run”; I won’t run anything else on the street.

I like that the tire came when it suppose to had came.

I put the 275’s on the front, and despite the fact that my front brakes have slotted rotors from EBC, and high grip pads, they no longer even try to lock up. They corner amazing, would be better if I didn’t still have my 245 pirellis on the rear spinning away, but where before I would run into oversteer I’m now only having to worry about keeping my rear end in line.

Tested them in a light rain the other day and they stayed planted better than anything I’ve ever driven. My ONLY complaint is that they are apparently no longer sold in 295, 305, and 315. How sad. I did order these pre mounted on rovos Pretoria rims, and they arrived looking clean as a whistle, not even any tire soap residue, pre-inflated to 40 lbs, and exactly one balancing weight hidden so well I literally spent 10 minutes looking for it.

First time getting these tires on my 2004 Audi S4 and I have to say they are a huge upgrade from a basic summer tire as expected. What was unexpected is that they hold up to most everything. I have been dailying them on my car for about 10,000 miles now some tread wear but honestly not as bad as I expected.

I have not brought these to the track just highly aggressive back road driving, they heat up fast which is extremely useful in day to day driving and then going for a spirited Sprint. As some may know the V8 in my car is in front of the forward axle so understeer is real lol.

The Times I lost traction and had sketchy understeer with my old tires was often, with these I have yet to run into that issue with pushing them to the limits which the feedback is there, they tell you when your getting close and it’s been very reliable so far.

I have used these in extreme rain conditions upwards of 130mph and they still feel good a little hydroplane here and there but otherwise I’d say very good at water displacement. Also many have not done this but might as well be the 1, I took these tires through a winter, through snow and on ice nothing below 15°F but a couple inches of snow, they honestly didn’t handle as bad as I thought they were going to and obviously braking is 10x more difficult in snow, so they did okay, not great so not for inexperienced drivers but still worked just fine for myself.

Road noise shouldn’t bother you if you have a loud V8 haha but yes they are loud and partially entertaining. All together it’s a great tire for daily driving and will be getting them for daily driving again.

Our race team uses the R888 tires in a 295 & 305 staggered 19″ setup. Our car weights 4200lbs and puts out well over 700WHP in RWD configuration. Getting the power down quickly is a tough task for any tire, but the R888’s do a great job of that.

In addition to that we have incredible initial turn in with these tires and great breaking abilities. This can be attributed to the solid R888 compound and structure. The tire is extremely consistent with its performance.

It is forgiving if you overcook them. We run 20 minute stints at our track days and if we overwork the tires in the first couple of laps, you let them take a lap off, the performance comes right back to you.

We have run other brand tires in the past and once they go off, they are done for that session. The R888’s are also forgiving if you are pushing the limits of your vehicle through the turns. There is enough forewarning that you are on the boundary of grip.

We are never concerned about the loss of grip unexpectedly. They are extremely predictable. Bringing the tires up to temperature is very easy. Once the tires are in their operating range you can really feel the grip come in to play.

We get a bunch of heat cycles out of them with our setup and weight of the vehicle. Overall performance relative to other performance tires is significant. At times during our racing season we were able to match the pace of other cars on slicks while we remained on R888’s.

The best part about these are that you can drive to the track on them, adjust tire pressures, race all day, and then drive home on them. For anyone looking at getting a set of the Toyo Tire R888’s, this is a great tire.

It will allow you to focus on the important stuff like breaking points, turn ins, apex, and lines. The last thing you want to do is worry about tires and ever changing grip levels. They are solid consistent performing tires and deliver the results you expect out of a brand like Toyo Tires.

I am using the R888 GG on my 206 GTI and used them on my previous car. They are by far the best tyres ive tried for fast road use. The high grip prevents abs from kicking in early so the braking distance is significantly improved.

Same same goes for cornering, the tyres makes the car feel super stable and easy driven. I feel the safetey is in top because the braking and handling is so much improved compared to the tyres the car had on when i bought it.

Even in wet weather i feel the R888 is as a minimum on par with other tyres i tried, more grip on acceleration, better breaking distance! They might be more sensetive to aquaplaning at high speed, though i havent noticed, so if you are not driving as a madman in heavy rain this is not really an issue.

The milage in the tyres are average at best and the gas milage suffers abit. Guess you can’t have it all, but i gladly trade the slightly higher gas consumption and thread wear for the awesome driving experience and safety i feel these tyres apply to my car.

I’ve read negative reviews of these tires and I find them somewhat picky. My 2007 Z06 is my daily driver around Houston, Texas. I live out in the country and do a lot of fast freeway and 2 lane rough asphalt country roads driving.

In the dry and especially in the wet they perform predictably with stability. Sure they are noisy, but the C6 Z06 is noisy anyway. If you are an experienced driver, I have 30 years racing, and KNOW YOUR LIMITS and road surface characteristics it is a good performer.
