I bought an American Elite Dunlop rear tire, and it came nicely packaged in a box, with a tire bag around it. I thought shortly after this purchase that I should buy a front tire as well, so I did. when I received the tire, it was packaged in a canada post type envelope bag, with large tears in it.
I had purchased a tube and belt tension gauge as well, and was really quite surprised to find those two items still intact and inside the tire. I was really confused when it came in a bag the second time.
I really enjoy shopping with Fortnine, but felt a little let down by this. i get that they say the shipping will be free, but keep the tire in a box, to keep it safe. hope this helps. thanks. the tire is great.

I have gone through 3 of these on my Dyna now. I get about 6k per tire, which is pretty poor, but I ride hard and in 100+ temps regularly. I also ride two up with a bag as well, so its packing some weight around: bike (660lbs), me (220lbs), bag (50lbs), and the girlfriend (130lbs).
Smooth comfortable ride. No vibrations. No noise. Good for wet or dry conditions. The grip is great. The rubber is really soft. In fact, I have melted the rubber riding in 115+ temps for five hours straight and then hanging some curvs.
I went through probably 2k miles whorth of tread in just a few hours. A could see the average rider in moderate temps easily getting 10k miles out of one of these, but that sounds boring.
2017 Dyna S. This is best gripping tire. Gives me much confidence for fast turns and corners. Recommend for canyon riding and track. Tread life is less than Michelin scorcher which is OEM for my bike.
It lasted me about 6k miles. I ride alone. Light luggage. Mountains, canyons, rough country road.

So I had the tire installed by a motorcycle shop and took it for a ride. While making a corner at 70mph i tried leaning, tried counter turning and turning normally I noticed that turning and leaning the bike was giving me great issues.
I almost went into the side of the ditch! I parked the bike and thought it was because it was new tires and it just needed to be broken into. Wrong!!! The front tire your team sent me is for the rear.
I went back to the front tire to read the sides and it stated mt90b16 (i ordered mt90 16) and then i noticed that it also stated for “REAR WHEEL FITMENT ONLY”!!! I went to inspect the rear tires and it stated mu85b16 (i ordered mu85 16)and also stated“REAR WHEEL FITMENT ONLY”.
Guys, i almost got into a major accident and to make things worse, i had to ride the bike back home, prayed nothing wrong would happen!! This is very unacceptable! Sent out an email and Hanna sent me a new tire and had me return the wrong tire.
Worst out come to this is $50 out of my pocket to re-replace tire on my rims at the shop and there was no concerns from this company! Totally understand “Human Error “ but imagine a rider who is inexperienced and doesn’t know any better riding a bike with wrong tires.

The Dunlop American Elites were mentioned in a conversation with a riding buddy and since I needed to change out the stock tires on my ’09 Ultra Classic and after checking reviews I thought I’d give them a try.
Great tires! I went through 2 sets on the Ultra and now have just replaced the originals on my ’19 Street Glide. Huge difference especially in the big sweeping corners on the highways which I like to take a little quicker.
The FLHX is lighter than the Ultra which makes it even more satisfying. Very positive feel in the tight country bends and quiet on the straight highways. I can’t comment on wet weather riding. Love these tires!.
I have never had a tire make such a difference in performance. I will be buying these tires again. I don’t care if they don’t wear as well as others. It’s well worth paying a little extra for the performance and comfort.
I have only had experience with the stock Harley Dunlop’s and Commander 11 but, these tires are way better imho. I’ve never been excited about a tire change before these Dunlop American Elites.
