I received this digital tire inflator and have no skills in the mechanics of this item. I sought out help to attach to the compressor, but found that the instructions were so clear that I needed no help with use of this item.
This is an item when inflating sports equipment, the bicycle tire, or on the automobile is needed for the accurate amount of air to be placed in the item. I had a fear of not getting it correct and this item is the reassurance that I have done it correctly.
I first used this on sports equipment, that my grandchildren use when visiting, seems they are never inflated correctly when the arrive. Now they can fix the problem and was needing to instruction to get inflated for use.
The best thing of this item if not used daily it is needed when things are not ready for use and there is really not a thing available that is more reliable. Ease of use and ease of set up is the best even with no background in the use of tools.
I personally like the digital readout as it never is a question is it the number desired, I would recommend it for every household.
The deflator bleed valve allows you to easily deflate tires in the field. Certified accuracy solid brass 360 swivel and “no-leak” braided air hose with a pressure lock and reset button. The large 2″ dial is glow in the dark for easy reading and has a rugged protective cover for a secure grip.
Anyone can afford an excellent tool like this. Much better to have a gauge with a narrow 0-60 range, so you can more accurately gauge pressure. I ignore manufacturer’s recommendation and innate to 37 pounds to maximize fuel economy and tire wear on the average passenger car.
You can do it accurately with this gauge. I tried electronic gauges and got tired of failures and dead batteries. Some things are better mechanical!.
Like the length of the hose from the gauge to the end you put on the tire. Really like that the gauge locks in the tire pressure so that you don’t have to read while holding the end on the tire. Over all very satisfied.
Features21 in. Stainless Braided Hose for maximum durability. Detailed high resolution dial face is perfect for TPMS or any use where accurate readings are required. 3. 13 in. Works with Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen.
Solid Aluminum body covered with rubber sleeve for extra comfort and durability. Two position inflate/deflate lever. 3-in-1 function – inflate, deflate, and measure tire pressure. Extreme accuracy- up to 260% more accurate than the ANSI Standard.
There are cheaper inflators out there, but I wanted a high-quality product that would last for years. I think this fits the bill rather nicely. It’s big and heavy, but that screams quality. I’m using a small Makita air compressor, mainly to fill up tires.
This inflator secures onto most of the valve stems nicely and stays there. I did need to hold it in place for some bike tires, but it wasn’t a big deal. The inflate/deflate mechanism is easy to operate and the gauge seems pretty accurate and it’s easy to read.
The casual user probably won’t need this, but I have several performance cars so I check my tire pressures often. I would still use a digital gauge for absolute accuracy, but this is close enough for non-track use.
I also have several bikes that need inflating at least once a week and I grew tired of hand-pumping them up to 60 psi all the time. This gets the job done in 10 seconds and it’s accurate. It just means I need to by Schrader tubes or put adapters on the Prestas.
Drive with greater safety and save money by keeping tires properly inflated! Keeping your tires properly inflated saves money on fuel, improves handling, maximizes tire life and enhances safety. That’s why every vehicle should have this digital tire inflator in its glove box.
It lets you effortlessly take tire pressure and measures from 0-150 psi (20-1000 kpa). It then displays pressure in easy-to-read numbers on the blue backlit LCD display. Features readout in your choice of psi, kps, bar and kg/cm2, built-in bleed button for lowering pressure, 1/4″ male inlet and valve core tool.
Accurate to 0. 5 psi. 2 AAA batteries not included.
The AstroAI Digital Tire Inflator Gauge makes filling tires extremely easy when using an air compressor. Instead of filling a tire, check the pressure, adjusting, checking, and repeating over and over again, simply fill the tire to the exact pressure you want.
Fill a tire to specification twice as quickly or even faster by using fewer instruments! Save time and just fill it right the first time. High Quality Construction. The first thing you’ll notice about this gauge is its weight; only high quality stainless steel and brass was used to provide an extremely heavy duty inflator gauge that can withstand up to an incredible 250 PSI.
The rubber hose is insulated and extra thick for superior performance.
I was able to use this on car tires using my pancake type Porter Cable compressor. I thought that I would be able to just attach it to the tire to see the existing pressure and then watch it increase while I pressed the trigger to add air.
However, that is not what occurs. I get a reading of the existing pressure when I manage to get it positioned correctly on the valve stem. When I press the trigger the reading shows a completely different reading while air is entering the tire.
To see the current pressure, I had to let up on the trigger to see the reading and then keep repeating the process of pressing and letting up until the reading was what I wanted in the tire. Ultimately, I was able to get close to the correct pressure.
However when I compared the pressure from the meter to what appears with a pencil type gauge or compared to the reading from the cars electronic sensors, this tool shows about 2 psi less than the other readings.
I will need to just remember that when I’m using it. I’m disappointed that it just doesn’t allow constant monitoring of the increasing pressure as it is filling, but I can make this work.
I took this gauge out of the box to see if I can remove the tube that has the Schrader valve latch head. It’s installed super tight and my wrench in metric or in SAE doesn’t really fit the hex nut on the tube.
I measured it with calipers and it says 11. 86mm. The 11mm wrench doesn’t fit. So, I tried using a 12mm wrench – doesn’t fit either due to the thickness of the wrench. I had to use a shorter handle 12mm cone wrench, which fits but doesn’t have enough lever arm for the necessary torque to turn the hex bolt.
It’s really snug fitting done by a machine! Anyway, this is my initial review. I was going to use this with the supplied Schrader valve latch but I need something that’ll work for Presta (french) valves as well for my bike tires.
For this initial opening, the pressure gauge looks solid and nicely built. It’s made of metal everywhere and the quality looks premium. I’ll put up pictures and provide updates as I start to use it.
Extremely happy with this gauge, after small modification. It’s well made with all brass construction and cast machined body. Supplied with many accessories and adapters for use with compressors and small battery inflators.
IMPORTANTLY I could not get the lock on head to fully seal on my Range Rover or BMW motorcycle, solution is changing installed flat rubber gasket seal to supplied conical gasket seal. Note photo, unscrew the brass locking chuck valve end using two wrenches to remove only top portion as shown in photo.
Remove flat rubber gasket and replace with included taller conical gasket with tapered end in first as shown. Reassemble using small amount of included Teflon tape to seal connection. Alternatively, there is a screw on chuck included which replaces the installed locking chuck if preferred.
Prevent your tires from blowing out and ensure safety with the TST-507-FT-6. The product uses Tire Pressure Monitoring System to monitor the temperature and pressure in the tire simultaneously. The real-time information is displayed on a digital screen.

The sensors and monitor work well! The only complaint I have is the sensors could be smaller in diameter. The larger size make them difficult to install on the valve stems on the rear dual wheels with wheel covers.
Best tire pressure gauge for tires that require low air pressure under 15 PSI. Ideal for off road situations and for use on ATVs, four wheelers, quads, water tanks, lawn mowers, tractors, and more. Top-rated among all low range gauges available.
Bought this to use in my SxS, very handy to use. Replaces a cheap digital unit and shows a 3 pound difference in pressure. Checked with two other gauges and this one is accurate. Customer service is excellent, first unit wouldn’t hold pressure, replacement was lost in the mail and second replacement is in the post office now.
I have a 100# Elite Pro and will be ordering a Flowpro.
Great gauge. I had a pencil gauge for my UTV and the slider kept sticking. I couldn’t get an accurate reading. I found Jaco on the internet and immediately ordered this gauge. It has the feel of quality, easy to use and easy to read A great investment for my UTV as I fluctuate my tire pressure from 8 to 12 psi.
A high-precision premium measuring instrument for the highest demands. A special rubber coating protects the tyre inflation gauge 9041-1 from light impacts. The suspension device integrated in the handle and the torque plug nipple integrated in the hose make the measuring device the ideal companion.
Maximum pressure is 8 bar, and the manometer measuring range is 0 – 12 bar. The measuring device also has a flexible hose with a length of 400 mm. Application: Inflation and deflation of tyres, air pressure control.
If you are a fan of high quality German tools, look no further than Hazet. The gold standard! This inflater is no different. Excellent craftsmanship! Unlike the other reviewer, I had no problem removing the euro fitting and replacing it with one to match my setup (Milton Type-V High Flow).
Yes, you have to use two wrenches to remove the factory fitting, but it will come off. Know that the threads are also euro, so use Teflon tape and crank it down good, because once its on, its on for good.
All in all, 5-Stars. Another excellent Hazet tool to add to my collection!.
Dont change the quick couple head on the product, it glued too strong, when i change to my quick coupler type, it cracking , the factory should know better , there are many form of quick coupler in the market.

Non-replaceable battery and a light that can’t be turned off. Ugh! I would not have bought this if the description was clear that the battery cannot be replaced. I never want to buy anything like that.
This “feature” makes it useless as an emergency tool since it could fail fatally at any time. Ecologically irresponsible to manufacture such crap. Get a mechanical one, or one with a standard size, replaceable battery, not this thing.
The battery will die on you when you need it the most. You have to restart the device in between taking each tire pressure reading. And then your batter will be low because the light stays on, and you will not get an accurate reading bc the battery is low “Lo Bat” will read on the display.
Seems to do the job, once you get used to it. Have to push and hold in place for a few to get the reading. Wish the screen was on the other side. IN my right hand, when applying to the valve stem, the screen is upside down.
Slight inconvenience, but not a show stopper. The screen holds the pressure value.
CALIBRATED to ANSI B40. 1 Grade B (±2%) international accuracy standard and featuring an integrated bleed button for precise tire pressure adjustment. HEAVY DUTY steel construction with a reinforced rubber hose and longer internal brass joints to prevent air leakage.
This gauge is built to last. EASY TO USE with an extended tip and 360 degree swivel chuck, enabling you to take a reading from any angle. Perfect for any car or motorcycle. Very good and accurate tire gauge. I really like the fact that if you over inflate your tires, just push the release button while the gauge is connected until the proper reading appears. The reason for four stars and not five.
I switched the attached right angle adapter so that I could use the straight adapter. After checking the pressure and removing gauge, the rubber “O” ring falls out. This has only happened with the straight adapter but it is annoying.
Good quality qauge. Nice large easy to read dial. Accurate, tested against a digital unit, same readings across the entire range. Has two high quality swivels, very easy to place on tire valve. Gauge is surrounded by a rubber hood and looks like it will hold up well.
Bleed valve is a nice touch. Overall this is a quality qauge at a great price. I would buy again.
Not that great. When we got the cold temps below Zero, the hose line was as stiff as a pipe. Was afraid to bent it. Was afraid it would crack or brake. The gauge works perfect. And will hold readings for days with no leaks.
Pressure range of 0 to 30 PSI is ideal for checking off road motorcycle tires High quality liquid filled 25 inches dial gauge with protective rubber boot Accurate to plus or minus 1. 5 percent of maximum gauge reading Blue anodized 6061 T6 body with pressure relief valve High pressure hose with dual swivels and brass ball type air chuck Pressure range of 0-30 PSI is ideal for checking off road motorcycle tires.
High quality liquid filled 2. 5 inch dial gauge with protective rubber boot. High pressure hose with dual swivels and brass ball type air chuck. Blue anodized 6061-T6 body with pressure relief valve.
A solid piece of kit for the shop. The analog is a bit tricky requiring minor assembly of a pressure equalization valve. Simple but fiddley. Compared to the digital gauge it lacks the special motion pro valve chuck.
Very pleased with this gauge. Easy to use due to swivels at air chuck and at gauge head. Bleed button ensures correct pressure is spot on. I have noticed improvement in bike handling now that they have correct pressures! Great piece of kit!.
Properly inflated tires save you money. Maintaining proper tire pressure reduces fuel consumption and maximizes tire tread life. Best of all the process is simple. Just check tire pressure monthly and air up low tires.
I Used it to check my tires on my old motorhome. Keeping the tires filled with air is essential on the road and in storage. I open it from the top just enough to pull it out easily; then after use, I slide it back into the packaging and store it on a nail hook.
Easy to remember location and easily identified. Nicely made and durable.

I did quite a bit of research to find the best tire gauge tool to use on the race track. There are many tools on the market and some are much more expensive, so I asked the Pirelli tire guys and they mention that they use this tool and it works great.
I bought one for myself and it has been working great. It is important to keep the gauge away from sun and heat because the batteries heat up and the tool stops working.
Excellent reusable filter element, used by the likes of F1 teams in professional racing. Well built, no fitment issues. Sounds slightly better, freer breathing, could be slightly more competitively priced against some of its other competitors.

Very easy to use. Came completely assembled with fittings on both ends, and DOES NOT LEAK from the pre-assembled fittings. Gives identical readings when compared to my pencil style tire pressure gauge, which I know to be accurate.
Locks easily onto every tire pressure valve stem I have tried (12 tires on 3 cars, plus 2 snowblower tires). Sometimes I have to wiggle it a little where it connects to the tire valve stem to get a perfect non-leak fit, just like just about every other inflator or pressure gauge I have used in 6 decades of auto mechanics.
Easy to read with large gauge and 1 psi increments. Includes a small roll of Teflon tape (not needed), 4 extra valve stem caps, and a valve stem remover, which is a great bonus to assure tightness and no leaking within the stem.
ADVANCED ACCURACY: Professionally calibrated to always return an accurate reading within 1% of the exact pressure of your tire. No more guessing! Accurately measures in a range from 3-250 PSI (0. 2-17.

Gifts for Men INCREASED SAFETY: Properly inflated tires provide better performance in all weather conditions, decreasing the likelihood of flats, explosions, and crashes; Increase your MPG and save money on fuel costs and tire wear ALL-IN-ONE FEATURES: The LED backlit screen features measurements in PSI, KPA, Bar, and Kg\/cm²; Includes an inflator, straight locking chuck, gauge, hose, and bleed valve, all in one unit; Compatible with both ¼” and ½” NPT air compressors outputs SUPERIOR CONSTRUCTION: Built of high quality, heavy duty stainless steel and brass components that provide lasting performance; Handle the pressure of Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, SUVs, off road vehicles, RVs, Trailers, and more thanks to a leak-proof close flow valve in the lock-on chuck BATTERY SAVER: Auto On when pressurized air is detected, Auto Off after 20 seconds of inactivity.
It seems most of these gauges have the same chuck. This chuck takes must be held straight onto the valve stem and with a lot of force, otherwise it just leaks either the air from the tire or the air from the compressor.
Another big problem for bikes the length of the chuck and stiffness of the hose (which is normal), since the whole rig wont fit between the valve stem and axle hub on most bikes. The only way past this is to flex the valve stem out making it even more difficult to use.
The gauge and handle/valves works well and as expected. The deflate button is nice and flows quickly. So far it seems the gauge is accurate. I’ve chosen to fix the problem by replacing the chuck with this: JACO Lightning T-Series Tire Air Chuck – 1/4″ F-NPT (Open Flow)It’s expensive at $28 but I expect that I will reuse it if the gauge ever fails.
And “yes” an optimistic justification, I guess at this point I’m still trying to keep the dream of one-handed operation alive. There are good right angle locking chucks like the: Milton S-698 1/4″ FNPT Single Head Air Chuck with GripI’ve used this before and its great for bikes, sport ball needles and hand trucks, but horrible on cast auto wheels with short or recessed valve stems.
Don’t let your next off-roading adventure fall flat because of flat or less-than-perfectly inflated tires. Keep accurate tabs on your tires with the ARB 350 PSI Digital Tire Pressure Inflation Gauge without sacrificing convenience.
This digital air pressure gauge comes with an LCD digital display to give you multiple measurements, including scale from 0 to 200 PSI, 0 to 14 Bar, and 0-1400 KPA. Hook it up with the standard push-on chuck and operate with the coated thumb trigger.
With accuracy within 1 PSI between a 25-75 PSI range, as well as a runtime of 200 hours on a single set of included batteries, this pressure gauge will give you the performance, reliability, and convenience you need to focus on the road, not your tires.
Outstanding item. Works really well and I could not be happier. One thing to watch is when you store it to be careful it doesn’t rattle around and scratch the face of the gauge. I use a beer cozy to cover up the “head” when storing in my glove box.
Fits like a glove! Lol! I would recommend highly!.
I work in an automotive shop and right out of the box, first time using, the rivet that holds the trigger to add air to a tire broke and the tip that attaches to the valve stem struggles to stay attached.
Description: Inflate and extend the life of your tires with this tire inflator This durable tire inflator features a pistol grip trigger to give you more control when inflating your tires. The inflator includes a rubberized tire gauge that measures tire pressure readings from up to 220 PSI accurately.
Features include a chuck that is able to get access inside dual wheels. Chuck gives easy access to inside dual wheels Lever inflation trigger at gauge with button valve to bleed off excess tire pressure Pistol grip trigger Rubber protected tire gauge 15″ air hose Specification: Gender Female Fitting size (in.
I like the fact that this item has a metal body and a dial type gauge that does not need batteries. I also like the push-on type hose retention feature on the hose nozzle. It will hold the air hose securely onto the tire air fill valve.
I like the higher pressure capability of this tire inflator. For my motor home tires, I needed a fill tool that would properly fill the tires up to 100 psi and have some safety margin. I will install a Block in-line water filter at the inlet of this tool to keep from putting wet air inside my tires.
That helps keep moisture out of the insides of the tires and keeps the rims from rusting and leaking at the bead. The bleed valve is convenient for precisely adjusting the pressure inside the tire, and that is a nice feature to have.
I am looking forward to many years of service from this item, and I am happy with my purchase of it.
The best thing I like about it is a pistol grip and a nice dial to read when I’m putting in with a air release valve. The worst thing would be the fact that I bought it because it clamps onto the valve stem but it doesn’t work it leaks constantly so therefore it won’t pump up the tire unless you’re holding on which was the purpose of buying one with the clamp on Chuck.
The second worst thing is that the gauge is in bar and not pounds PSI for America. It does have it but the gauge is inadequate and small the main gauge is for overseas bar. That doesn’t work well in America and you can’t get an accurate reading.
I had to look up how to convert bar to pounds and in America everything is 35 lb per square inch normally which is 2. 4 bar which is not even marked on the scale the nearest one is 2. 5 so you’re literally guessing.
The next part is it was in my trunk of my car in the cold and the hose became so hard that you could barely get it on the tire I was scared that I would break the hose on the couch.
I’ve had about 3 of these so far. The latest one leaks the minute it was plugged in. The male connector is undersized or mis-shaped and causes the feed connection to leak. All my other air tools don’t leak when attached so, the problem is with this unit.
Also, the hoses on the others in the past keep cracking and deteriorating after about a few months of use. This one doesn’t seem to be any different. Other problems are the accuracy of the gauge. You have to test against a good standard then mark the gauge + or – according to the adjustment needed.
There is no adjustment on the gauge to compensate for the difference.
Tire pressure is important for ride quality for a number of reasons. First, tire pressure affects the contact patch between the tire and the ground, which in turn affects traction and how the bike handles.
Second, tire pressure affects the spring rate of the tire, which affects the bike’s suspension performance. Third, tire pressure affects the rolling resistance of the tire, which affects how much effort it takes to pedal the bike.
fourth, tire pressure affects the air volume of the tire, which affects the bike’s weight and how the bike feels when riding.
The ideal tire pressure for a comfortable ride
The ideal tire pressure for a comfortable ride quality is between 30 and 35 PSI.
The consequences of too much or too little tire pressure
If your tires are inflated too much, the ride will be very hard. This is because the tires will have less contact with the road, and they will be less able to absorb shocks. This can make for a very uncomfortable ride, and it can also make the tires more susceptible to punctures.
If your tires are inflated too little, the ride will be very soft. This is because the tires will have more contact with the road, and they will be able to absorb shocks better. This can make for a more comfortable ride, but it can also make the tires more susceptible to flats.
How to check your tire pressure
To check your tire pressure for ride quality, you will need to use a tire pressure gauge. You can purchase a tire pressure gauge at most auto parts stores. To use the tire pressure gauge, simply insert the gauge into the valve stem on your tire and press the gauge down until you hear a hissing sound.
This will release the air from the tire and allow you to get an accurate reading.
How to adjust your tire pressure
To adjust your tire pressure for ride quality, you will need to first consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual to find the recommended tire pressure for your specific vehicle. Once you have that information, you can then inflate or deflate your tires to the recommended pressure.
The benefits of maintaining proper tire pressure
When tire pressure is too low, the tire can flex excessively, which can cause tread squirm and increased heat generation. This can lead to premature tire failure. Maintaining proper tire pressure can help prevent these problems and improve ride quality.
The best way to store your tires
The best way to store your tires is to keep them inflated to the proper pressure. This will help maintain ride quality and prevent flats.
How to extend the life of your tires
To extend the life of your tires, you should regularly check the tire pressure and inflate them to the proper level. You should also avoid driving on rough roads and potholes, as this can damage the tires.
Conclusion
The conclusion of tire pressure for ride quality is that it is very important to have the right amount of tire pressure in order to have a comfortable ride. Too much or too little pressure can cause a bumpy ride.
