20 Best Tire Inflator With Pressure Gauge (2023 Updated)

I was sure hoping this was gonna be made in the USA since that is part of their name. But I was wrong, and that is why I only gave it two stars. I have used it once so far and only time will tell if it is reliable or not.

I noticed on one of the four tires that I checked, that I had to push it rather hard onto the valve stem to stop it from leaking air around the quick disconnect. The one nice thing is you can hook it up to the tires without having it hooked to an air source and verify your pressures.

While only “designed” in USA and not made in the USA as I was fooled into thinking by my lack of research, they appear to be of good quality. It’s an American based company that has them made in CHINA.

unfortunate. The accuracy seems right and I can’t seem to find a comparable one made in the USA with spending 4 times as much. Let’s just say it’s better CHINA junk than most CHINA junk.

Rhino USA is intentionally misleading the only thing USA about this is in their name MADE IN CHINA just like Harbor Freight and others that dont lie about it. Disappointed

I received this digital tire inflator and have no skills in the mechanics of this item. I sought out help to attach to the compressor, but found that the instructions were so clear that I needed no help with use of this item.

This is an item when inflating sports equipment, the bicycle tire, or on the automobile is needed for the accurate amount of air to be placed in the item. I had a fear of not getting it correct and this item is the reassurance that I have done it correctly.

I first used this on sports equipment, that my grandchildren use when visiting, seems they are never inflated correctly when the arrive. Now they can fix the problem and was needing to instruction to get inflated for use.

The best thing of this item if not used daily it is needed when things are not ready for use and there is really not a thing available that is more reliable. Ease of use and ease of set up is the best even with no background in the use of tools.

I personally like the digital readout as it never is a question is it the number desired, I would recommend it for every household.

I have put this inflator to use twice already and it has performed great. Only used it with ac power to fill eight car tires that were all 5-10 lbs low. The inflator took about 1-2 minutes to get them back to normal levels.

I am very pleased thus far!.

This product lasted until the third time of use, that is, when it was used the third time it did not work.

I bought this instead of the Harbor Freight version. This says made in America on it, so I felt it would be better. The first time I used it was no problem. The second time I used it the valve that is built in to relieve pressure after checking it, must have fallen off somewhere in my shop.

Every time I pushed the lever to inflate the tire all it did was blow air out of where the valve was supposed to be. Save your money and go to Harbor Freight and spend $20 less for one that looks exactly like this one.

It sure it couldn’t be any worse.

We use the Milton S516 on our fleet vehicles. The head has replaceable washers so if it starts leaking, you can fix it. Replacement parts are also available for the gauge body.

Very high quality. Accurate gauge. Used daily and holds up well. I removed the hose and put a straight hard inflator in place with the use of a compression fitting as an adapter. Also have to use the inflator tip from the hose because it allows air to drain.

VERY PLEASED WITH PRODUCT. I was surprised how quickly and easily this inflated all of our automobile tires. I only had to add 2-6 pounds per tire but only took about a second per pound (plugging this into home electric current, AC).

Extra nice automatic shut-off feature. Just set to the desired PSI and it stops when it reaches desired pressure. I haven’t tried DC (Car Battery) yet – but glad it has the feature so I can carry with me if needed.

I can attest it worked great on AC power – and easy enough to pull an extension cord from home electrical outlet to this unit sitting by my tires. Very Happy with this purchase.

I really like the convenience of this tire pressure gauge. The immediate reading of tire pressure beats getting out a tire pressure gauge and a separate tire air tool. The only negative I found was that the gauge was a couple of pounds greater than any other gauge I tested it with.

My conclusion was that the digital gauge was a little inaccurate but not so much as to make it unusable. It is otherwise a great tool.

This gauge is outstanding! Most important it is the most accurate gauge I’ve had over many years of work. I like that it clips on to the tire valve, gives you a reading and as you pull the trigger it shows new pressure.

If you overshoot, press the release button until you hit your target pressure. Love it!.

I don’t know if I just got one that was a defect or if the quality of tool or assembly was substandard. I put the hose and adapter on it plugged it in and the first tire I used it on I heard a small pop inside and the tool stated leaking air around the edges of the face plate! Shop air is regulated and the tire only had 30 PSI in it! Very unhappy with this tool and it is currently in the mail being returned for a refund!.

Great price, good construction – but has the tire valve fittings strangely threaded inside each connection point. Works well, but the threads inside the fitting will bind with the standard tire nipple and does not always remove easily.

All other units I have used in the past 20+ years are smooth inside, not threaded. A cost savings in using off the shelf fittings instead of a specific valve fitting for tire valves? Consequently 4 stars instead of 5.

Buyers be aware.

Haven’t had very long so can’t speak to its longevity, but the quality seems to be good. There is one issue I have found with it and that is the angle of the backward pointing inflating port, it does not mate up well to my inside dual tire, in fact in my case it does not mate up at all so I cannot air up the inside tire, bummer.

However it is still a useful product.

dial indicator gauge popped loose after 2 days. Quality is not the best. Paid more money for this one rather than the cheapy ones but not happy with the quality.

I work in a smaller shop with two other techs and out of all the tools I’ve purchased, this is one of the few I’ve had absolutely no issues with. To start, the build quality is very sturdy, with brass fittings and a stainless steel braided hose.

Moreover, the strainless hose includes a rubber strain relief where the hose exits the tool. Even after months of heavy usage and getting tossed around, the hose shows no signs of wear at all. As far as air chucks go, it’s the most comfortable and intuitive I’ve ever used.

The smooth, yet sturdy steel lever is dual purpose. The first 50% of travel will release air. Squeeze it fully and it will start adding air to whatever it’s connected to. In my opinion, this is far more comfortable than the vast majority of analog air chucks, which require you to tilt the air fitting off to the side to release air from the schrader valve.

The locking chuck is a nice touch, but depending on the condition of the valve stem, it may or may not seal without some extra down-pressure on the fitting. This is less a problem with the chuck and more a problem with worn, dirty or low quality valve stems on tires.

In day-to-day usage it’s a non-issue for me. The single button powers on the tool with one press. Press it again and it will turn on the back light. Hold the button and it will switch measurement units (PSI, KG and BAR).

The back light does not stay on for very long (15 – 20 seconds), but this is okay as our shop is on the darker side, and I still have no trouble reading the display, even with all the bay doors shut.

The back light is there just in case you’re airing something up in the dark and need some extra light. It’s not something you’ll use all the time. It helps a lot with battery life. On average, I use this chuck about 20 times a day, 5 days out of the week and I’m averaging about 1 – 2 months on the 2 AAA batteries.

In my opinion, this is excellent battery life. Just keep in mind this tool will give you no warning when the batteries are low. It will simply shut off completely and not power back on. There seems to be no difference in accuracy, regardless of the battery life.

As far as accuracy goes, this tool is right up there with the best of them. I frequently air up tires on Alfa Romeos which have sensors that report pressures to the nearest 10th of a PSI. Airing them up to factory specs, I find the sensors to always report within 1 – 2/10ths of a PSI to the pressure I set.

And this across 100+ different cars on different days with different sensors. This is excellent and great for picky customers that demand their tire pressures be exact across all four tires. Good luck trying to achieve this accuracy with an old-school Milton tire inflator.

And if you’re worried about this gauge taking a while to update the reading, worry no more. As soon as I release the trigger to check the pressure, it updates the reading within 1/4 of a second. Awesome.

In spite of my glowing review, I do see some areas that could be improved in a later version. First of all, the hanging loop built into the rubber boot that fits around the tool is starting to show very slight tearing (I always hang it from a re-purposed coat hanger on the side of my lift.

I would prefer a hard hanger molded into the body of the tool for better longevity. Second, it would be nice to have a mode where the backlight turns on as soon as the trigger is pressed (like some digital gauges from Mac).

Lastly, there could be more contrast in the display itself. With the back light on, the reading looks somewhat ghostly and not as clear as you would hope. Again, it hasn’t been a real problem in my usage, but those with worse eyesight would definitely appreciate more contrast.

TL;DR: This unit from Astro absolutely dumpsters gauges even twice the price in overall comfort, quality, accuracy and reliability. If any of you air up tires very often, and you’re still using an analog gauge, I strongly urge you to give this inflator a try.

After getting used to this gauge, trying to read an analog gauge is like going back to the stone age. You will not be disappointed. Lastly, if I have any problems with this tool, I will update my review.

If there are no updates, then you know it’s still working perfect.

I like the accuracy of this product, and it appears to be durable. It is a bit heavy / bulky, but I suppose that is somewhat necessary to make it durable. 2 things I did NOT like about it are: 1. ) The illumination goes off too quickly.

just about the time you go to read it, the backlight goes off, and you have to activate it over and over again while checking / adjusting tires. Matter of fact, just give me an on / off rocker switch and have it illuminated constantly while I’m using it.

with AA batteries, it should last a good while anyway, and I would rather replace them often than be annoyed by this. 2. ) The tire chuck for attaching to the valve stem is hateful. I immediately replaced it with a chuck that allows me to do motorcycle tires, ATV tires, AND car / truck tires.

The one that comes with it is so long and rigid, that fitting it into anything with spokes on is impossible, and it doesn’t seem to latch / grip the valve stem anywhere near as well as my cheap $14. 95 analog tire inflator.

Nice. not sure what everyone is talking about with the Phillips screws. Mine came with instructions to peel back rubber insulator, pull up battery cover, install batteries (came with 4 AAA, requires 2).

Took about 2 minutes because I took a sip of beer. Screwed on a male hose fitting (came with a brass male to female fitting installed), ran out for a comparison to my other gauges. Within 1/2 psi of the other 2.

Cool thing was airing down only required this tool to hit target pressure. The lock on clip does require a little more force to get clipped and not leak , but not excessive. Instructions do say to ” twist/thread chuck onto valve stem to fully seat “.

I just pushed harder then latched. Both gauge and handle encased in rubber for shock absorption. Certified accuracy : 0 – 58 psi is +/- 1. 2 psi. 59 – 174 psi is +/- 2 psi. One click turns on gauge, second click turns on back light witch stays on for about 5 seconds.

Third click does nothing ( I was hoping it would turn off ). It does shut off after about a minute and a half of no use. Came with detailed instructions and 1 year warranty. ” READ ME FIRST” and “IMPORTANT NOTICE” cards are of high quality paper and in color hinting to a quality product.

The first FlowPro 2. 0 Digital Tire Inflator did not work properly after inflating about a dozen tires. Damage to one of the valve’s o-rings was identified with the help of Steven in customer service.

He sent me a replacement kit that contained new o-rings. However, again the inflator worked for inflating only a few tires. This was, again, due to damage occurring to one of the o-rings. That is, something in the body of the unit was damaging one of the o-rings after filling a few tires.

I returned the unit and was sent another FloPro 2. 0 unit. However, it has another issue. It only works properly when my air compressor is set ABOVE 75 psi. When the compressor is set is below 75 psi, the venting does not stop when the handle is fully depressed.

This makes it inefficient, slow, and noisy when filling a tire to the desired pressure (i. e. with the vent valve remaining open). And it causes the air compressor to rapidly bleed down. The o-rings look good on this 2nd unit.

Upstate NY uses a lot of road salt, which eventually pits alloy wheels and has caused very slow air leaks from my tires. We have three cars and I check tire pressures every couple of weeks or so. My Jaco Flow Pro makes the job a snap compared to how I used to do it before with a separate gauge and inflator.

The lightning chuck seats instantly and securely over the tire valves. I check tire pressures and top them up in a fraction of the time. The Flow Pro is a cleverly designed tool. I enjoy using it and wish I found it sooner.

I’m pleased to report that Jaco’s lifetime warranty is the real thing. More than a year after I bought it, the gauge stopped zeroing out and started giving inaccurate readings. I called Jaco. Their customer service rep immediately offered a replacement and I received a new Flow Pro two days later.

There are 4 things about this gauge that separate it from many, many others. 1. The gauge is very easy to read down to one psi, or a fraction thereof. 2. The clever air release button works without having to remove the inflating line from the valve stem.

3. The small lever used to begin inflation is very sure, i. e. , it activates fully, never partially. 4. Best of all, the inflator valve eagerly fully attaches itself to the valve stem and locks automatically.

I would never have believed this had I not seen it with my own eyes. This is an ingenious idea. And, it fully pops off of the stem with the slight push of a button. NO LEAKAGE WHILE ATTACHED TO THE STEM.

If you have a vehicle that has a spare tire, YOU NEED THIS. And I know that’s a weird thing to say, so let me explain. When I was originally looking at buying one of these, one of my friends brought up the point “well if your tire is popped, having a tire inflator will do nothing.

the tire will just be flat again within a few minutes. ” So I held off for a while. And then one day I came back to my SUV and apparently I had hit a nail while I was driving through the construction in my apartment complex, because one of my tires was as flat as could be.

I jacked up the car, swapped out the spare tire, started lowering the vehicle back down aaaaand. the spare was WAY underinflated. This was the first time I had to use my spare tire in over a year, so I wasn’t surprised that it had lost some air in that time, but it’s not like I regularly drop my spare tire down and make sure it’s inflated.

so, I ended up having to take the spare back off, throw it in my buddy’s trunk, and take it to a nearby gas station to inflate it before we could take it back and put it on my SUV. Here’s my whole point of this review: If I had gone through and bought one of these when I was planning to, I would have just re-inflated the spare tire right then and there and I would have been all set to go.

I actually own two of these now, a yellow one to keep in my SUV and an orange one to keep in my girlfriend’s. We both love them, and several of our friends have bought them because of conversations they’ve had with us.

My sister calls me every once in a while asking if she can come over and use mine, so honestly I’ll probably be buying a third to give to her sometime soon. The device itself is awesome. The display is the best part in my opinion – you attach the hose to your tire, and it shows what PSI it’s currently at (that feature is half the reason my sister calls me, she doesn’t have any sort of tire gauge in her car) and then you can use the buttons to tell it what PSI it *should* be at.

You flip a switch, it inflates the tire as much as it needs, and then shuts off automatically. Easy as that. The light is super handy too for if you’re trying to do stuff in the dark. The power cord is long enough that I can easily do all four tires of my SUV from the same cigarette lighter plug by the driver’s seat, which is saying something because I drive a Suburban and the wheelbase is not short to say the least.

The AstroIA Air Compressor is the best corded compressor I have used so far as this is my third corded compressor ever used. My only complaint is that the power cord could be much longer as it is not long enough to reach all tires if you have a longer or larger car.

It uses a 12v power cord that connects to your cigarette lighter in the car. However, you can separately purchase an extension cord with a transformer that connects to 12v, which is what I did that can connect to a wall outlet.

Things I like are that it comes with several air pump attachments so that you can pump other items besides tires; a fuse in case you need to replace the fuse (instruction says not to use pump for more than fifteen minutes at a time, so don’t do more than one to two tires at a time); it takes around 6-8 minutes to pump up the tire; automatically shuts off if you set tire to psi you want (there are other forms of measurements in the digital display, so be sure you select “psi” for Americans); light weight; and easy to repack and put back into the box.

Compared to rechargeable battery powered pumps, this is not as fast, but definitely faster than other corded pumps I have used. Other corded pumps can take 10-20 minutes per tire. Rechargeable battery pumps can do a tire in about 3-4 minutes.

I have used this pump about six times so far in about two months because one of my tires has a micro hole that flattens the tire after a few days each time. The pump continues to operate the same as the first time.

It is not as loud as other pumps, but it does make noise. The great thing that this pump has that I did not see in older pumps is the automatic shut off upon reaching the desired psi. I do not have to stay with the pump while it is pumping.

I let it pump in the driveway while I go into house away from the cold. When I hear the pump stops, I come back out to unleash the pump and turn the switch back to off before unplugging it and put it away.

Even when the pump stops, the power remains on as the digital display needs power, so be sure you switch the power off. This pump is light weight and nice looking, and easy to use. It comes with an instructional booklet that has multiple languages.

They should update the compressor with a longer cord though, and it would be perfect.

This portable tire compressor is fast and powerful for its size. This unit was able to fill my tires in 10 minutes, from 31 psi to 44 psi. I even double-checked the psi rating with my pencil tire pressure gauge, and the unit was accurate in its readings.

The unit’s functionality is quite simple, giving you a button to change the four types of readings PSI, kPa, BAR, and KG/CM. Two buttons to adjust the output, a button for the light, and lastly, a button to turn the machine on and off.

The unit has an automatic shut-off system, so you don’t have to worry about hovering over the unit and waiting for it to stop. Although that may not be a concern since it takes around 2. 5 minutes to fill a tire, depending on how much your tire needs.

As for my concerns about the product, it has a 15-minute time limit before it needs to cool down. Suppose you must fill multiple tires over 50psi, then it might take longer to wait for the unit to cool.

The unit didn’t get noticeably warm until the end of filling up my third consecutive tire. The light was sufficient for me to read the psi from my tire in the dark, but you might rather use your phone light instead.

Although this isn’t a primary concern, its lightweight does make it prone to move around a bit, but it won’t walk away on you. Overall this product will definitely be a lifesaver if you ever need to fill your main or spare tire when you are on the road.

My old brand of tire inflator died on me, so I stopped in at O’Reilly to get a replacement. I have owned Slime brand inflators before and have been pleased with their reliability and low prices. This particular inflator was less than $30 but looked more robust than the $12 inflator, so I bought it.

The inflator filled my tire from flat to 35psi in about 5 minutes, which was what I wanted. The flashlight is a nice feature, I suppose, for someone who needs to see where the tire valve is at night in the dark.

However, I have a good LED flashlight already. The one thing I was not expecting is that the inflator hose has to be screwed onto the tire valve. I prefer the quick release type. It screws on and off easily.

However, you do lose some air while unscrewing it. The inflation hose and the electric cord to the 12V port in the car are both long enough to reach easily. I don’t like the storage features for the air hose and for the electric cord.

The air hose is stored in a recess on the pump body by shoving the hose into this recess. Not very elegant. The electric cord wraps around and around the base of the pump body, and the plug part sort of clips into a hole in the very bottom of the pump, but there is excess cord so the cord tends to unwrap from the pump base.

Once wrapped up, I was able to reuse the box that the pump came in, but I wish it stored better.

Using for several years now. Top up my tires every few months without the hassle of finding or paying for air. Just go outside after I’ve let my car sit overnight, and adjust. Also worked when I had a flat.

Took it a few mins, but not enough to matter or delay my getting where I was going. Easy power from the 12V car outlet. Screws on so fills well. Gauge shows as it fills, but I use my handheld to check accuracy.

Long enough hose to put it on the ground while filling, no matter where the valve on the tire. Small so it fits under the seat easily. Has added raft and ball valves; I haven’t tried. NOTE: Need to keep car running while on, or it will run the car battery down completely.

I have a tire with a slow leak. I’ve been unable to get that fixed, so I just top the tire off in the mornings at the gas station. My fiancee loaned me hers, and I loved it. This little inflator has saved my day so many times that I can’t give it enough praise.

It’s small, compact, cute, and effective. The cable and hose management is great – the power cord coils away nicely around the base, and the power connector tucks into the bottom. The air hose has a space where it tucks away too, to make it easy to use.

The pressure gauge is accurate, and it works pretty quickly. Not only can you top off your car or bike (Schrader valve), you can inflate beach balls, footballs, basketballs – you name it. So I bought another one – the purchase here – so she could have hers back.

This inflator offers good functionality in a compact package, but its stowage/portability features could be better. Unless you enjoy wrangling cords/hoses whenever you use the pump, consider finding a bag to hold everything.

In use, the compressor does its job competently and without fuss. It’s a simple matter of setting the desired pressure on the backlit LCD screen, then flipping the power switch to start pumping. The unit automatically stops about 1 PSI higher than the set value, which is accurate enough for my needs.

Multi-power input (AC/DC/battery) is among the unit’s better capabilities, but it’s somewhat of a mixed blessing. The battery/charger is not included (and should be available “soon”), resulting in an added expense.

The AC/DC cords are nice and long (almost 10-ft each), but they’re non-detachable and crammed in tiny pockets molded into the bottom of the unit. After wrestling the power cords out initially, storing them again is very fiddly and stressful on the wiring.

The pockets easily could have been made larger (maybe resulting in a less-shapely outer casing), but the manufacturer unfortunately chose form over function. To reduce hassle, I’ll be wrapping the cords outside, rather than using the storage pockets.

The pump also offers a high-volume/low-pressure mode, by flipping the power switch the other way. Separate pressure memories for each mode would have been nice, but it’s easy enough to reset it for each situation.

The unit has clips on top for the low-pressure hose, but I store it separately because it gets in the way of winding/unwinding the high-pressure hose. Overall, this is a decent inflator, but some design choices make the unit less convenient that it could be.

An included bag or case would have been welcome, but as-is, just good enough for a four-star rating.

There was only one review, so that made me a bit unsure. I purchased it anyway, and I am glad I did. The previous review said the gauge wasnt accurate. I found that the gauge on my unit was accurate and easy to use.

I highly recommend this product.

Makes inflating tires alot more comfortable then using just the standard inflator chuck as this one locks onto the inflator stem the only thing negative I have to say about it is the gauge is horribly inaccurate so I have to recheck psi with my digital gauge which causes me to have have to hook and unhook until the tire is pumped up exactly to where I want it to be.

Its a bit more time consuming but beats the heck out of having to constantly be pushing on the valve stem and letting more air out of the tire then putting in all the time with the standard inflator chuck that came in the cheap air tool kit I got.

Functions great, but I didn’t realize that the main, outer dial measures kPa, and the inner, smaller scale is for PSI. Would have rather had PSI as the dominant, larger numbers on the dial, but it’s still functional.

There are cheaper inflators out there, but I wanted a high-quality product that would last for years. I think this fits the bill rather nicely. It’s big and heavy, but that screams quality. I’m using a small Makita air compressor, mainly to fill up tires.

This inflator secures onto most of the valve stems nicely and stays there. I did need to hold it in place for some bike tires, but it wasn’t a big deal. The inflate/deflate mechanism is easy to operate and the gauge seems pretty accurate and it’s easy to read.

The casual user probably won’t need this, but I have several performance cars so I check my tire pressures often. I would still use a digital gauge for absolute accuracy, but this is close enough for non-track use.

I also have several bikes that need inflating at least once a week and I grew tired of hand-pumping them up to 60 psi all the time. This gets the job done in 10 seconds and it’s accurate. It just means I need to by Schrader tubes or put adapters on the Prestas.

First impressions. The gauge is huge, way bigger than I thought which doesnt bother me because it makes it easier to read. It also feels tough, it seems like if you threw it on the ground it will bounce back to you from how much rubber it has (which is also a plus for me).

I was actually expecting leaks since other review said it leaks from the gauge area but no leaks at all, i also like the it grabs onto the valve stem really good, I doubt it will be this way since I work at a shop, just today in my first day I checked about 3 cars which is 12 tires right there.

I will keep you guys posted if anything happens to it or if I have any issues with it. Now for the only thing I dislike and this doesnt really bother me that much but I wish they changed it. Is that on the gauge it goes up to 180psi (now this is a good thing cause it means all the seals are good to up to 180psi) but in reality you will most likely never going to inflate a tire to 180psi, Astro could of made this gauge from 0-120 and even then most people wont inflate something to that pressure.

Now why does it bother me. Because even though its easy enough to read already, it could of been even better if the gauge was larger, could of use those useless 60psi (from 120-180) To extend the gauge making it even easier to read making this gauge PREFECT!! But thats just me Overall really good gauge and hope it lasts me a long time.

Just received this item and had to try it out. The chuck has to sit squarely on the valve stem, otherwise it will leak. I had to press the chuck down on one tire to prevent air from leaking out during inflation somewhat defeating the purpose of the self locking chuck.

The gauge is nice and easy to read, the unit is a lot larger than I had imagined, but it feels solid. I had to use a large amount of teflon tape on the air fitting I installed to mate this to my compressor hose.

I like the look of the stainless hose, however the “strain relief” portion of the plastic over the braid looks a bit more ornamental than functional. I tried this on 2 tires, the deflation feature is pretty cool to have.

I will try a full air down on my vehicle and see how well it airs them back up. I got this item to replace my old, highly inaccurate harbor freight inflator that finally started to break apart after 3 years.

Of course, to go along with my Milton tools, I also have many Snap On Tools as they are also a leader in the industry. So, I didn’t give a second thought to making this MLI S-568 purchase after having used and owned other Milton tire gauges for some sixty years.

I must also commend Summit on their great fast shipping and their “Beat A Price Guarantee” – I had the tool quickly on Wednesday after a late order on Monday evening and received it at a much lower price.

The actual tool quality seems very good overall, and I did see the gauge displayed a very high degree of accuracy when I checked it on a tire I had just previously inflated to 32 PSI using a different gauge having a known high accuracy.

But, there could be a few improvements and there is also a fine print sticker on the tool that states; “do not throw or drop” along with keeping the tool clean. First caveat, at least one swivel should be in the hose near the gauge handle as the rubber hose is only clamped to its brass fitting at each end with a thin stamped brass clamp that still allowed movement between the rubber and the brass fitting on my gauge at the tool body handle end during use.

There was no leak there, although one may soon develop there because of this – requiring a remedy. Second caveat, there should be an included hanger designed for hanging the tool on a bracket – since this is not a tool you can simply toss in a tool cabinet drawer with other tools.

As an air gauge tool, mechanics need a tool they can store and retrieve quickly without worry. A good included hanger would solve that problem. My solution was to add a small Velcro strap to secure the tire valve end to where the gauge attaches to the handle.

This allows me to quickly hang the tool up using the curvature of the secured rubber hose. Third caveat, the two alkaline AAA batteries should be removed during any storage. This also isn’t mentioned anywhere on or with the tool.

That is somewhat less of a problem since the rubber cover is easily removed to remove or replace them. However, it would have been better if some type of a more open substantial mechanical opening had been provided for the batteries other than the small plastic door hidden behind a rubber cover – both of which may not last well for many years.

One last item is the tool package prominently shows assembled in the USA – but shows it uses “GLOBAL COMPONENTS” in very fine print.

I bought this product because it is made in USA. Yes all the packaging and writing stamped on the product state such. I purchased the digital version and the AAA batteries inside are made in china. The product works great! I was able to set even pressure on all 4 tires for two vehicles very quickly.

The quick connect hub worked nicely. Glad I purchased this one!.

One star is for the easy to read light up dial. Second star for real time updating of pressure information. Third star for the locking mechanism for the valve. Fourth star for ease of use and flow control.

It appears well built out of quality materials, but the quality of the gauge itself cannot be overlooked. The gauge was reading 45psi – when the tire was at 60psi (as checked with 3 other gauges and the trucks own TPM system).

Tried removing the batteries, tried fresh new batteries, nothing worked. Disappointing as I really wanted to like this gauge. Ended up returning for a refund.

The LCD gauge stopped working correctly after the 2nd time I aired up my tires after a day of wheeling. I’m running a dual ARB compressor under the hood and the first air up, I had no problem. A few weeks later, after airing up my 2 tires on the driver’s side, the gauge went haywire on me and won’t show the correct tire pressure.

It’s almost as if moisture got into the gauge from the compressor. The gauge is stored in a bag and not subjected to the elements or being rattled against tools, etc. I thought it may be bad batteries at first, but after putting new ones in, it still does the same thing.

It’s phenomenal at filling tires though, and I love that I can clip the chuck onto the valve stem and not have to hold it on. Now I have to constantly unhook it and use a pencil gauge to make sure I’m at the desired pressure I want.

I am having problems with keeping batteries in the one I received. It seems to kill the batteries every couple of months and I only use it when I am refilling my 35in tires after wheeling. I would think the batteries would last over a year, but I am definitely wrong with my thinking there.

I have not seen anyone else state they have this same issue, but this is my experience of this product after about 8 months of ownership.

I like the fact that this item has a metal body and a dial type gauge that does not need batteries. I also like the push-on type hose retention feature on the hose nozzle. It will hold the air hose securely onto the tire air fill valve.

I like the higher pressure capability of this tire inflator. For my motor home tires, I needed a fill tool that would properly fill the tires up to 100 psi and have some safety margin. I will install a Block in-line water filter at the inlet of this tool to keep from putting wet air inside my tires.

That helps keep moisture out of the insides of the tires and keeps the rims from rusting and leaking at the bead. The bleed valve is convenient for precisely adjusting the pressure inside the tire, and that is a nice feature to have.

I am looking forward to many years of service from this item, and I am happy with my purchase of it.

The best thing I like about it is a pistol grip and a nice dial to read when I’m putting in with a air release valve. The worst thing would be the fact that I bought it because it clamps onto the valve stem but it doesn’t work it leaks constantly so therefore it won’t pump up the tire unless you’re holding on which was the purpose of buying one with the clamp on Chuck.

The second worst thing is that the gauge is in bar and not pounds PSI for America. It does have it but the gauge is inadequate and small the main gauge is for overseas bar. That doesn’t work well in America and you can’t get an accurate reading.

I had to look up how to convert bar to pounds and in America everything is 35 lb per square inch normally which is 2. 4 bar which is not even marked on the scale the nearest one is 2. 5 so you’re literally guessing.

The next part is it was in my trunk of my car in the cold and the hose became so hard that you could barely get it on the tire I was scared that I would break the hose on the couch.

I’ve had about 3 of these so far. The latest one leaks the minute it was plugged in. The male connector is undersized or mis-shaped and causes the feed connection to leak. All my other air tools don’t leak when attached so, the problem is with this unit.

Also, the hoses on the others in the past keep cracking and deteriorating after about a few months of use. This one doesn’t seem to be any different. Other problems are the accuracy of the gauge. You have to test against a good standard then mark the gauge + or – according to the adjustment needed.

There is no adjustment on the gauge to compensate for the difference.

The size of the gauge is impressively large which makes it very easy to read. Much nicer than the picture. You do have to supply a male air fitting. I checked it against my known accurate gauges and it is within 1 psi.

It also has easy to use push button control to lower air pressure in your tires. I am not a fan of clip on tire chucks, (they tend to leak, etc), which is why I purchased this one. Fits on tire valve properly and works well.

I have since purchased another for my son. It works equally well. Good product at great price.

When I purchased this inflator I thought it was going to be metal but its all plastic. it does not come with a connector to hook it up to your air compressor. If you screw the universal connector in too tight it will crack the plastic housing.

Everything is color coated to make it look like metal. This is junk!.

Ive had several similar tire chucks, and the gauge is never accurate and construction is flimsy. This one, however, is pretty heavy duty and the gauge is spot on. Dont have to keep switching between my inflator and my air pressure gauge.

Great value for the money.

I drive on the beach regularly which requires airing down my tires. Using this device makes airing up a breeze allowing me to stand instead of crouch, has a high flow rate, and is easy to quickly check the psi without having to take off the chuck and attach a gauge.

The clip did not always engage valve properly. The item was fine other than that.

The pressure gauge is correct. The weight in my hand is good. However, I had to hold the brass end against the valve stem so it would not leak – that is why I say it is not good quality. It was alittle too loose.
