I have yet to use anything that’s really one step whether it be paint or something like this. It looks great with 2 coats, so make sure and get enough. You can tell that one coat will work but 2 makes it shine, somewhat a semi gloss to gloss look.
I used this on unsealed concrete floors that were polished to 400 grit, really brought the dept out. The back of the bottle should be pictured so when you get it and turn it around to read “clean with Trewax floor cleaner first” you won’t wish to have known to get that also.
I used TSP instead to clean my floors. I had windows open with a fan blowing through one to exhaust the fumes while applying. Fumes fade away completely after 2 or 3 days.

INDEPENDENT LABORATORY TESTS SHOW 511 IMPREGNATOR OUTPERFORMS COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS. (Test results are available upon request).
My contractor who first installed my slate floor in the kitchen recommended Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus Sealer ProfessionalS Choice. -V168* After 16 years the floor looks brand new! It’s not cheap, but the sealer is guaranteed to last 20 years.
And it applies easily with a white washcloth, which I find lets you do it very evenly. Though the instructions say they sell an applicator. If you want to only seal your floor every 20 years, invest extra money for a professional grade sealer.
Used wet pumice to remove heavy soap buildup dripping down from soap shelf onto natural stone in shower stall. Cleaned it off well and waited 24 hrs before applying this Impregnator 511. It has been 3 days and the area of the natural stone (limestone like?) that I cleaned looks great.
Color has not changed. Looks like it did when initially installed. So far, very pleased with the results.

Used Red Gard on my bathroom room and followed the instructions, and within a week it peeled off anywhere their was thin set. It peeled off in some spots up to a 4 inch piece. Luckily I didn’t tile yet.
Not using it ever again. Google “Red Gard fail” if you want to us it to figure out what not to do or extra ideas to make sure how to make sure it bonds. Waste of time and money.

We discovered 511 seal and enhance 2 years back and have used it yearly since. Our backyard has mostly slate surrounding the pool. When properly maintained, the 511 seal and enhance really brings out the beautiful colors of our slate.
We maintain our front walkway with the same sealant. This sealant doesn’t leave a white residue like the wet look sealants sold.
I had a flagstone sidewalk installed and wanted to seal it. I went to Home Depot and Lowes and found different brand sealants. I went home and researched and did not like the reviews of those products.
I did some research on my own and found this product. Ouch, yes it is expensive, but absolutely worth it!! I Love this stuff and the other reviews were the same. I used a cheap paint brush to apply it and that worked the best.
I have bought other sealant for my pavers and other jobs, will only buy this product now!.
After researching for a while, I came across this sealer at a local store. I wanted to have a wet but non shine look on my flagstone. The local store had it very expensive, so I tried the product and it did what I was looking for: Enhance the color of my flag stone, and give it a wet non shine look, and the results were spectacular.
I really loved the way my flagstone patio looks now. I don’t know at this point if it will turn white after or how long the result will last but definitely I would recommend this product for natural stone to enhance the color and seal your flooring.
Safecoat Grout Sealer is a clear, moisture resistant sealer for porous tile grout and other cementitious surfaces. It actually reacts with and becomes a part of the grout, increasing water resistance and minimizing the penetration of liquids, helping to prevent staining and giving a wearable, washable surface.
Like all Safecoat products, it is as safe and not toxic as possible, formaldehyde free and virtually odorless, giving off no offensive chemical fumes. Dries clear without discoloration.
The product was easy to apply and had no unpleasant odor. I like the finish because looks natural and not as if it is sealed. That means however, it is porous. Little spills happen all the time time on a kitchen counter, if cleaned up right as they occur, they will not leave too much dis-colorization of the grout, but if left to sit will cause a stain.
I have found that if I occasionally make a paste of OxiClean and water and spread it over the counter tiles and grout, the grout will return to being white.
Stain proof original is an impregnating, invisible and breathable sealer that protects exposed natural stone, tiles, pavers, concrete and grout from damage caused by water, salts and oil based stains.
Treated indoor and outdoor surfaces become easier to clean, maintain and looking good for longer. Stain proof originality provides lasting protection for natural stone, concrete, terracotta tile, cast stone, paving, sandstone, limestone, brick and grout.
Spills should still be cleaned up immediately to minimise absorption. Application rates: Total application rate is approximately one litre per two to 25 sq. metres (20 to 23sqm per quart) depending on absorption.
How to use: Always test product on a small area first and allow a 24 hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results. Ensure surfaces to be treated are dry, clean and free of residues.
Product is to be applied without thinning. Generously saturate the surface with product using a low-pressure hand spray, a clean brush or similar. Surface should have a mirror like wet look for 35 seconds.
Avoid contact with surrounding areas. When the surface becomes touch dry or a minimum of 10 minutes, repeat step 4. Total application rate is approximately one litre per two to 25 sq. metres (20 to 23sqm per quart) depending on absorption.
When the surface becomes touch dry or a minimum of 10 minutes, to allow the product to penetrate into the surface, polish surface with a clean white dry cloth to remove excess product. If you have waited too long and the product has begun to cure and has become more difficult to remove, moistening the cloth with stain proof original should ease polishing.
Great stuff! I sealed my expensive, leathered finished, perla venata quartzite and now water – and everything else – just beads up on top of the surface. No stains from anything and it didn’t change the texture or feel of the stone.
I followed all the directions and it was easy. Just be sure you wear a chemical mask, gloves and have proper ventilation.
I just remodeled my kitchen and the folks who installed my counter tops used this product. My designer said it’s a great product, though expensive, and I thought if the counter top company uses it it must be good! So I bought it as well.
I have tried this products on my jobs the cleaners are and also the sealers really good! Scott was also very helpful and knoleggble of his products and we have decided to offer their products to all our clients, available at the the Gappsi Showroom.

Black Diamond’s Stoneworks, our premium line of natural stone cleaners and sealers were designed for you to easily maintain and protect all of the beautiful stone and tile surfaces in your home or business.
Good product. Does what it says. Easy instructions. Not yet sure how durable it is. I have applied three coats to our stone steps and it certainly “toned” the steps to a “wet look” look. But they are already showing signs of fading back to original look after just 4 weeks and no foot traffic on them.
I will redcoat them when warmer weather allows and keep them under review.
First coat dried dull and powdery. Second coat also dull and powdery! Stones were dry, clean and oil free. There’s no reason why it should of done this! My friend recommended this product, said it was awesome.

I ordered this product online and it was delivered with a week. Overall, the product was easy to use and got the job done. The grout in my shower looks fresh and new again. The product didn’t have a strong odor and it was easy to clean up afterwards.
Would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quick grout refresh.
This color is exactly Sand(dirty cream) color NOT warm Gray. I opened this bottle, applied, dried and realized it is Sand color. My original grout color was almost light gray. I spent money and time with this a wrong color spec.
Who set up the color specification? The information of Color is so important for Colored Grout Seal product.
The online color chart makes it difficult to choose correctly. Color is much brighter than expected. I will not use product. Pkg stuck in MA for a wk before moving on , not your fault.
Professional quality stone care – granite sealer and protectant offers a premium sealant and caring solution for your premium stone surfaces, including marble. Great for quartz, marble, granite, quartzite, and soapstone.
Advanced-action stain protection – this spray uses a powerful blend of polymers to penetrate the stone’s naturally porous surface to block out stains from seeping in and becoming permanent. By doing this, granite sealer also provides a protective layer on top of the granite to prevent water spotting and to keep other residue from sticking.
Enhancing formula for gloss and shine – granite sealer and protectant is essential when the time comes to treat all types of stone and to enhance surfaces for a polished and natural look. It also works miracles on grout to guard against stains that develop between your shower or bath tiles that can be the most difficult to remove with your hands and a sponge, no matter how hard you scrub.
Do the water test – the best test to see if your granite needs to be sealed is to put drops of water in certain sections of your granite and wait 30 minutes. If the granite absorbs the water, you need to reseal.
If not, your granite is protected. Premium stone deserves premium care, and this granite sealer and protectant provides just that. Our powerful blend of polymers penetrates the pores of your stone surfaces to block out stains while safely providing a protective layer on top to prevent water spotting.
With an easy spray-and-wipe application, you can protect your countertops or kitchen island while enhancing the natural beauty of the stone.

I bought this two weeks ago and sealed my shower with it. Two weeks later the leak returned so I cut holes in my wall to see where the water was coming from. It wasn’t the taps or shower head so lifted the drain cover on the floor and found all the sealant had washed out.
Ireturned the half a tube and asked for a total refund on the two tubes I bought , the cashier called a manager and it was no problem. But I forgot to mention it says it bonds and seals kitchen and bath but when yo read the very fine print it says not to use around waterThis should be removed from your shelves as it doesn’t seal and I think flour and water would have worked just as good.
Now I have to scrape it all of the caulking I did in my shower and redo it. Wasted two days !!! Read reviews on this product and a lot of people found the same issue. I was nice about it / hell but the next customer you sell this to may not be.
I just used this product on my bathtub to replace the old caulking. The previous owner did not use a good product that was discolouring. I did it early in the day to make sure there was plenty of time before any water would be used and by the time kids’ bath time happened there was a drying crack all around the tub.
I made sure according to the directions the gap wasn’t too big, I had been extremely careful at cleaning out all the old caulking and getting every last bit of it off. I followed the directions to a T.
And now I have to pull it all out and clean it all up again.

bought arkasia tiles and they look great in both bathrooms. Customer service is second to none. When wrong mosaics delivered correct ones received next morning. Also pack of tiles shattered in transit and these replacement arrived next day.

Myself and my partner order almost 30m2 on the Monday and it was delivered on the Wednesday, same week. Great quality. So happy with them & customer service when phoned to place order was 5 star! Would definitely recommend.
Use this before when we laid our kitchen flooring and it stayed great for years so we thought we would give it another go and its great in porcelain keeps it looking new. Would definitely recommend.
Tile sealer is a product that is applied to the surface of tile to protect it from dirt, stains, and moisture. Sealer also makes tile easier to clean and can prolong the life of tile.
what are the benefits of sealing your shower floor tile
The benefits of sealing your tile are many and varied, depending on the type of tile sealer used. Generally, tile sealers provide a protective barrier against staining, fading, and dirt build-up, while also making the tile easier to clean.
In the case of shower floors, tile sealers can also help to prevent mold and mildew growth.
how to select the right tile sealer for your shower floor
There are a few things to consider when selecting the right tile sealer for a shower floor. The type of tile, the porosity of the tile, and the desired finish are all important factors.
Type of tile:
The type of tile will dictate the type of sealer that is needed. For example, natural stone tiles will require a different sealer than ceramic tiles.
Porosity of tile:
The porosity of the tile will also dictate the type of sealer that is needed. More porous tiles will require a sealer that penetrates the surface to protect the tile from water and stains. Less porous tiles can get by with a surface sealer that will protect the tile from dirt and grime.
Desired finish:
The desired finish is also an important consideration. Some tile sealers will leave behind a shiny finish, while others will have a matte finish. Choose the tile sealer that will give you the look you want.
how to apply tile sealer to your shower floor
To apply tile sealer to your shower floor, first make sure the floor is clean and dry. Then, using a paintbrush or roller, apply a thin layer of sealer to the floor. Be sure to work in small sections and apply a even layer.
Allow the sealer to dry for the recommended amount of time before walking on it or using the shower.
how often should you seal your shower floor tile
You should seal your tile with tile sealer at least once a year.
what are the signs that your shower floor tile needs to be resealed
If your tile is looking dull, faded, or stained, it may be time to reseal it. You may also notice that water is no longer beading up on the surface or that it is starting to feel sticky or tacky. If you can see grout lines, that is another sign that the sealer is wearing off and needs to be reapplied.
how to remove tile sealer from your shower floor
To remove tile sealer from your shower floor, you will need to use a strong chemical stripper. Apply the stripper to the floor with a brush, and then let it sit for the recommended amount of time. After the stripper has had time to work, use a power washer to remove it from the floor.
how to troubleshoot common problems with tile sealer for shower floors
If your tile sealer is not working properly, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem. First, make sure that you have properly mixed the sealer according to the instructions. If the sealer is too thick, it will not properly penetrate the tile and will not work properly.
If the sealer is too thin, it will not properly protect the tile. Second, make sure that you have applied the sealer evenly and in a thin layer. If you have applied too much sealer, it will not properly dry and will be difficult to remove.
Finally, make sure that you have allowed the sealer to dry completely before using the shower. If the sealer is still wet, it will not work properly and will need to be reapplied.
Conclusion
There are many different types of tile sealer for shower floors on the market, so it is difficult to give a definitive answer. Some tile sealers are designed to protect the tile from water damage, while others are designed to prevent mold and mildew from growing on the tile.
The best way to determine which type of tile sealer is best for your shower floor is to consult with a professional.
