LuxeAdapt 13” Firm is more like a medium/firm. It does come hard as a table when brand new, so I suggest you help break it in, and do some of the tricks they mention online to help the break in process.
One month in, it is softer, yet supportive. I do enjoy the bed and the quality is amazing. It’s supportive yet giving, but not so soft like the soft version available that is like a marshmallow. After 1 month we did decide to exchange to the LuxeBreeze model however.
We wanted something cooler, we are in Florida and this bed after a few hours does retain body heat, which also helps makes it feel softer. But we do want the cooling feature and we also went with the soft version of LuxeBreeze which is like a medium/soft not super soft or marshmallow soft.
We love LuxeAdapt but want the cooler bed and a tad bit softer feeling. The firm softens up but for side sleeping a little softer would be more comfortable. We are now used to the Tempurpedic feel. We had a little learning curve coming from a traditional spring mattress.

I tried to post a review before on this, so I hope that this will get posted this time. My husband and I bought this brand in June 2021 and like many others, were told to wait 120 days for it to “settle in” before determining if we like it or not.
Of course, that meant that even if we didn’t we would be stuck with it, which is the case now. This bed is a huge disappointment for the cost. The cooling effect is a pure gimmick for customers. It does not work at all.
While it is cool to the touch, the moment you lay in it, the cooling is completely gone. Since the purchase of this bed, I have woken up nightly sweating and incredibly hot. Sometimes I have to get out of bed to cool down.
I sleep with three fans on in my room and I am still hot. While it was advertised and pitched to us that it draws your body heat away from you and cools you all night long, it does the opposite. There is no cooling effect to it at all and instead it draws all my body heat towards me every night.
The fact that it is supposed to be 8 degrees cooler at night is frustrating because that is far from the truth. As for my husband, he is unable to sleep at the recommended angle because it causes severe neck and back pain for him.
It also does nothing to help with his relentless snoring. In fact, it made it worse. Our old king size bed did not have a cooling effect to it, which is why I was drawn to this one. However, I can safely say that comparing the two, our old bed I had no issues with being hot or my husband waking up with a stiffed neck or back pain.
I now regret talking my husband into purchasing this bed and wish we could go back to our old one. I definitely do not recommend purchasing the LUXEbreeze. I will say that the only benefit to this bed is the sleep tracker with the Eurgo base, but that is it.
My husband sleeps like the Tasmanian Devil moves–quickly and a lot. We told the salesperson we wanted a bed that limited the feel of my husband’s seemingly constant movement. In the showroom, as a joke, my husband belly flopped onto the bed and I barely felt it move.
The salesman described how the bed could tip up to lessen snoring and put the bed in position that felt like heaven. Then he said we could get a cooling mattress that would help me since I sleep hot.
I was hesitant about the price tag, but to get a good night’s sleep EVERY night–I was persuaded it was the right decision. Once the bed was delivered and we slept in it, I found I could feel my husband jiggle his foot, which he does often in his sleep.
He snores louder with the head of the bed tipped up. We tried the “special setting” on the base and I felt like I was being squished to the middle of the bed since our feet and heads both went up. It may be a comfortable position to chill out in, but impossible to sleep a full night that way.
Finally, I still wake up several nights each week hot even though I’m now sleeping with a lighter blanket than I used to. On the plus side, Hubby says his low back pain is better with the new mattress.
For the price we paid for this bed and the two platforms, I am very disappointed in them. We bought the cooling mattress on clearance knowing it wasn’t returnable. That was my mistake.

There were no reviews at the time. I wish I would’ve seen these before buying for my father. We switched out his old “ real” temperpedic that he loved for this “newer” version. He has been waking with back pain now.
What is different about this? I guess they skimped somewhere based on price and reviews. It’s a shame because like the others it’s a big regret. Also, the delivery experience was HORRIBLE. The never showed up the day they were supposed to, then called 1 hour after (after taking the day off because they give you a four hour window) and said they were behind and would have to come the next day.
So after another day of waiting, they di didn’t show … again. After another day, they finally came but were 2 hours later than the four hour window they game. 3 days wasted waiting. I suggest buying from living spaces( or somewhere else) that they have a longer sleep trial and offer a full refund.
I have been contemplating a Tempur-Pedic mattress for years and finally bit the bullet when the Supreme Breeze was presented since I’m generally warm when I sleep. Bed arrived earlier than expected, delivery guys unpacked it in my foyer then got black handprints on the mattress because one of the guy’s hands looked like they had grease all over them.
I ended up helping since one guy admitted his hands were dirty and tried to wipe them on his pants after he could see his black handprints on the mattress. I purchased the recommended tencel mattress cover (thin so it doesn’t impact the mattress performance) and I have not slept well since I bought it.
It’s much firmer than I expected (and I prefer a firm/plush feel) and it sleeps hot. There is also a lingering chemical smell even after a week. It can’t be healthy to breathe this while sleeping. Sad to return it after having such high hopes.
This mattress has to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. My whole life I slept on traditional pillow tops and I had issues almost nightly – tossing and turning, not enough space, too loud when you move etc.
Sure the Tempur-Pedic was expensive, but think about it: you spend a HUGE portion of your life sleeping. Why not invest in something that will give you the best sleep you can get? I upgraded to a king and I can confidently say I now sleep better, I rarely toss and turn, there is SO much room (get the king size!), I wake up feeling refreshed literally every day.
I mean, this thing is insane how comfortable it is. It’s like a promotion for Tempur-Pedicure anytime family or friends lie down on it. they always comment how awesome it is and subsequently start second guessing their own mattress choice.
There isn’t a single thing I don’t like about it. It’s been an excellent investment since day 1. I know this all probably sounds like a sales pitch but it’s true, & I will recommend their products to anyone (we have the Tempur-Cloud pillows too, also awesome).

Please take a second to read my review it will give you a heads up what to expect. I purchased the Proadapt Firm Full mattress. The display models in store are Queen size so the full size I purchased has less surface area which means it is firmer.
Be aware of that when purchasing (a twin, full also if you purchase a split king bed). When I first received it of course it was much harder then the display in store and has a bit of a smell. Give it a few weeks to feel like the display and after a few days the scent will go away.
As you lay on the mattress over time (during the night) it naturally conforms to your body form & body temperature. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I sleep longer during the night and wake up feeling refreshed.

Been sleeping on a Queen Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe for the last 8 years that was very comfortable for the first few years, but got too soft and always slept hot for me. My wife loved it so I’ve put up with it for awhile.
We finally decided to upgrade to a King bed and after doing some research and in store testing, purchased the Luxe Breeze Soft mainly for the cooling. Knowing the soft on a breeze model is firmer than a soft on a non breeze model we thought it wouldn’t soften too much like the Cloud Luxe did.
My wife is always cold and has complained the last 6 weeks the bed is too cold for her. She wears a hoodie and sweat pants to bed with an electric heat blanket turned on and is still cold. For me, it’s cool initially, but then I wake in the middle of the night quite warm and clammy.
