20 Best Teen Movies On Amazon Prime (2023 Updated)

My friends got this for me as a goof and it was sitting on my shelves for months. I ended up growing apart from my friends and actually becoming very depressed. Little did I know that TBM (teen beach movie for the casuals) would turn my life around.

I was having another dark day, I woke up at 2PM as usual, ate a bowl of dry cereal and started watching reruns of MASH. Eventually the show grew as stale as the cereal that accompanied it. The moment of truth was upon me, I decided to pop in Teen Beach Movie.

45 minutes in I started bawling. This movie proved to me that it was more than just a teen beach movie. It was a teen beach miracle. I have never been happier in my entire life. I have a full time job as a janitor now and I watch TBM every single night.

My life is really turning around. thanks, teen beach movie.

Perfect for Kindergarten – Tween years. The music and dancing is totally fun and entertaining for this particular age group. My granddaughter is 5 and loves it!! Shows the differences between kids from the 60’s and our more modern world yet also the similarities.

The characters shown in the movie from the 60;s are actually just movie characters so of course their world is always perfect and happy and of course there is then the real world where things happen.

I ordered this DVD for my daughter. It was supposed to come with a free surfboard zipper pull, which she was looking forward to getting. However, when we picked up our order from the store near home, the DVD did not come with the surfboard zipper pull.

It was just a regular DVD case, and nowhere on the picture suggested there was any surfboard zipper pull in it. The sales associate told us the UPS code matched the order form, even though the order listed the zipper pull being included with the DVD.

She suggested that we reject the order. However, my daughter wanted the DVD bad enough to keep it, but we could not help feeling being mislead.

I’ve been a fan of the Ninja Turtles ever since the 1987 Ninja Turtles cartoon came out. Then I saw the live action version of the movie in 1990 and I was disappointed that it didn’t feature the turtle van, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, however I liked the movie which still holds up to this day.

Fast forward to 2014 and you get a Ninja Turtles movie that’s a lot closer to the 1987 cartoon, however the only thing missing from this movie is Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang. The turtle van made an appearance towards the very end of the film, which is awesome.

They also had Vern from the 1987 cartoon played by Will Arnett, which is awesome because I liked him in Arrested Development. They also casted the hottest April O’Neil ever. Megan Fox.

A lot of people have dissed this movie because it’s NOT like the “original” trilogy from the 1990’s. While that is true, it’s STILL just as fun as those films. Just because it’s different doesn’t mean that it’s bad.

It’s great escapist fun for the entire family. It still has the charm as its predecessors. What’s different, in a good way, are the action sequences. They’re able to do things in this movie that they couldn’t with the animatronic suits in the 90’s.

As a fan of the TMNT films, this one fits right in with my collection. Truly worthy continuation.

It is from Micheal Bay. What did you expect? Well, luckily I am a Claire Minae Noji fan. She is WORTH watching in the movie for. She is a Japanese-American actress that is perfect in this role. She is also in the TMNT Nick cartoon series so totally worth it.

She is in a variety of starring voice work and guest starring roles on various TV shows, movies, and video games. She is best known for the role of Karai here in the movie. I am disappointed in BAY for not having her in the NEXT sequel to the TMNT film.

I received my copy of Teen Wolf Collector’s Edition about 3 weeks ago before release date with the free limited poster. Shout Factory/Scream Factory in my opinion offers the best Blu-ray’s out on the market.

Teen Wolf looked stunning upgraded and the bonus features were the best yet. Very happy and loving the poster too! Overall happy customer here definitely will be coming back even more. All my orders have been fulfilled with A+ customer service.

Classic 80’s at it’s best! Michael J. Fox plays an ordinary high school student who discovers that his family has an unusual pedigree when he finds himself turning into a werewolf.

The first blu-ray release of this Michael J. Fox cult classic featured lackluster video/audio. Thankfully, this Shout! Factory release is vastly superior and has some nice special features.

If you like a movie that captivates you right in the first 10 minutes and keeps you guessing what the heck is happening, or what’s going to happen next, then this flick is for you. The story line jumps all over the place keeping you captivated throughout the entire movie.

There are so many twists and turns my head was spinning. I couldn’t wait until the end just to see what was going to happens. Even just five minutes from the movie being over I had absolutely no clue what was coming next! Great acting from everyone in this movie, I mean really great acting.

If you like a good thriller with a lot of twists you will really enjoy this film. I can’t wait to watch it again with my wife to see what she thinks!.

This might not be the worse movie I have ever seen, however, it is very close. For a Helen Hunt Movie, this was so out of her league. There are so many twist and turns, and backward scenes, I almost threw up from the headache it gave me.

Everyone perceives things differently, so, this might entertain some of you, however, to me, it is a cheap made, confusing, movie, that sits in bottom shelf of my DVD movie rack, where the , “DO NOT WATCH AGAIN” sign is hanging~.

The suspense isn’t totally edge chair sitting but it does build as the movie continues. I loved how you keep questioning what is really going on and the great finish which I kinda guessed at but was still a bit of a surprise.

Plus I just love Jon Tenney and think he is a totally underrated actor. He rocks in this movie. Helen Hunt is a favorite too but I have seen her do better in other roles.

This movie is pretty good I wasnt sure what it was about but after seeing it I really liked it. The story is good, the acting is great and the visuals are amazing. Actually a friend online recommended this movie to me so thats how I saw it.

This movie is basically twilight but with angles and a better actress. The only thing I have to nit pick about this film is that it leaves a cliffhanger so not sure if they are going to make the next three movies I hope they do I want to know what happens.

But other than that its a good and enjoyable film. If you have not seen this movie then I recommend you do. This movie is cinematastic.

If you are a fan of Twilight I believe you will enjoy this movie, if you lower your expectations. It is intriguing but you should be prepared for shallow character development and obvious plot similarities with Twilight.

There is a lot of unanswered questions but this was meant to be a series and not a stand alone.

It was entertaining movie. Had trouble understanding it at first. Then as the movie went on, I got it.makes you stop and think. Received fast, like the characters all where new to me. Liked it a lot.

Can’t Buy me love practically nails the struggle of the so called “nerd” in high school to aspire to the most attractive girl in school. Patrick Dempsey’s portrayal of the quirky, but really likeable Ronald Miller is spot on and many 80s high school kids can relate to, especially as he transitions from the “cards with the tards” to the in crowd,with the resulting falls from grace along the way reminding us all that even as cool or popular as we might have thought ourselves to be, we had a little “nerd” in us all.

The supporting role by Amanda Peterson as the wildly popular, but deeply longing for love and acceptance Cindy Mancini reminds us that popularity at any price can often make us blind to those who would truly make us happy and that popularity can not only be overrated, but eventually lead us to conflict within ourselves and unhappiness in general.

This movie has a few quirks, with a slight undevelopment of friendships especially with Ronald Miller, who seems to flitter around with just about anyone, and does not seem to make a friend within the in crowd despite his acceptance and longing to be within the circle.

As for Cindy Mancini, her character seems to be more a sort of canned response and reactionary rather than the emerging depth of feelings Amanda Peterson would have been able to have truly expressed had the role allowed for more character development.

But otherwise, a rather shining example and a refreshing change from the typical oversexed, over the top laughs, and hack and slash that was typical of many 80s movies (ie: Porky’s, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and the Friday the 13th genre).

A movie ahead of its time and paving the way for nerds to become cool in the modern age!!.

I enjoy this movie for many reasons. Amanda Peterson plays a beautiful popular girl and Patrick Dempsey plays the cute goofy guy next door who pays her to date him. It’s an innocent movie everyone can enjoy.

Costumes and hair styles took me back to the 1980s. Anyone who went to high school can relate to the humor in this. Amanda Peterson tragically overdosed in July 2015, because during the time she was filming this movie, she was raped by a much older man and it haunted her the rest of her life.

she coped with drugs. Knowing this and seeing her act well in the movie and staying strong is truly an inspiration. My prayers go out to her and her family. This is an excellent movie!!!.

Purchased for my granddaughter who is 15, she loved it! I wasnt sure she would since its an 80s movie, but it looked pretty good. Come to find out it was also one of my daughters favorite movies at that time.

They loved watching it together, a perfect gift!.

For any comic book fans out there who’ve read the Batman & the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles graphic novels, you already know how amazing this pairing is. And getting to see this adapted to an animated film is just as rewarding! The voice cast and animation is really fantastic.

Each character really FEELS like each character. And they do not hold back at all in this movie. This isn’t something that’s been watered down to be kid friendly. The action scenes are intense and brutal and There’s moments of blood and broken bones.

What’s most fun is spotting all the homages and references to other Batman and Turtles films. There’s a ton of references to the 1990 Turtles movie which is widely regarded as the greatest TMNT film still to this day.

If you’re a Batman fan or a TMNT fan or even just an animation fan, this is a great movie to pick up. It comes with 2 great special features about the movie, a sneak peek at the upcoming Batman Hush adaptation, and a free digital copy.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were such a huge part of my childhood growing up between the 1987 tv series, the 1990 movie, amongst the others, and the Playmates toy line. Batman Begins was where my love for Batman came into play.

So to see these two come together in the comics and then to a movie was just so well balanced and fun and enjoyable to watch. The serious tones and joking manner between the DC and TMNT characters, both hero and villain, works really well.

Troy Baker was very impressive voicing Batman and the Joker. His Batman reminds me a lot of Kevin Conroy’s Batman, which is superior. Characters are strong and fun to watch. Watching in 4K is a treat as well.

Great movie all around.

When this was announced I was instantly excited but concerned. I haven’t enjoyed most recent TMNT versions in movies. I had high hopes but was expecting disappointment. Overall, I thought the movie was terrific.

There were a lot of jokes, most of which I did laugh at, and they occasionally felt shoe-horned in. But they weren’t awful. The story was interesting and kept my attention. I could probably justify a 4 star rating but I’ll make it 5 because of how good it looked in 4K.

I am a huge fan of DC animated movies! They’ve been killin’ it lately! Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is no exception. The fight scenes were fun. The character dynamics were great. The chemistry between Beast Boy and Terra was really interesting.

I loved Terra’s character development. You can really see her internal struggle as the movie progressed. I’ll also admit that I haven’t been the biggest fan of Damien in the animated movies up until now, but he’s starting to grow on me.

Damien’s character seems a lot more grounded in this film, he’s more humanized and interesting because of his developed connection with the Titans. Overall I really enjoyed the film and thought it was a solid effort from the DC animators!.

I enjoyed Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. It was about on par with Justice League vs. Teen Titans, or maybe a little better. For some context, I was never into the older comics, but I watched the mid-2000’s cartoon when it aired.

I love the team, and the voice work is strong. The animation is great during action scenes, and mediocre throughout the rest of the film. WB and DC are cutting corners, and it shows. The animation is choppy, the writing is getting worse.

I have numerous complaints, but at the end of the day, the action is great, and I don’t want to see DC’s animated originals go away, so I support them. This is not among their worst efforts, but certainly not among their best either.

It’s right about down the center. It has the potential to improve with more viewings, but I doubt it. Still, I recommend to fans. Most likely fans only.

For all the comic book fans out there, The Judas Contract was a MASSIVELY popular storyline from the 80’s at a time where Teen Titans was the top selling comic title at D. C. Comics and this storyline proved why.

Fans have been waiting for an animated adaptation of this since 2007 when it was announced but then shelved because it was deemed “too unpopular” to be successful by the studio. This adaptation does update the story and swap out some characters with others, such as Blue Beetle for Cyborg.

But this movie fits beautifully into the cinematic universe created and is great fun for fans new and old. If you’re a fan of the classic New Teen Titans run of comics from the 80’s, you’ll love this blu ray as one of the special features is a reuniting of writer Marv Wolfman and George Perez as they talk about their run on the Titans and the legacy they left with the characters.

This is a must own for any and every D. C. Comics fan.

We enjoyed the movie more than I thought we would, but the digital code experience truly sucked. Usually when you get a digital code you’re able to redeem it via Movies Anywhere or someplace similar.

Once it’s redeemed the movie is added to your digital collection (we view ours through Vudu and Movies Anywhere). But I’m not telling you anything different, or new, BUT. The movie was only redeemable via Apples multi-media app and once redeemed, it was only accessible via that App and not thru the usual sources.

If we wanted “The Gentlemen” to appear as “owned” and be available in our usual library’s (i. e. Movies Anywhere, Vudu, Amazon) it would require another purchase of the same movie to do it. I’m really leery of buying any movie that requires it to be redeemed via APPLE only and suggest that you make your purchase with “eyes open” from now on as well.

We usually don’t write many movie reviews but we felt it was warranted in this instance because the digital code you receive is only good to watch via APPLE, unlike every other movie.

Movie shockingly great. I almost fell asleep at the beginning and was super confused. But it all came together and ended up being highly recommended! BUT pretty upset about the digital copy. We use Vudu A LOT & Movies Anywhere because they link and I can watch my movies on either.

But this movie came with a code that could ONLY be used on itunes. Not happy about that. I tried everything linking my movies anywhere to itunes and it will NOT show on my vudu or movies anywhere account.

And since I dont have a apple device the digital doesn’t even work for me. I will now have to check every movie to make sure it is not a itunes digital and if it is I will not purchase!.

Love the movie. So much so, I bought the Blu Ray/DVD/Digital Combo disc from Best Buy. The Digital Code ONLY works with iTunes. It DOES NOT work w/ VUDU or MoviesAnywhere. I talked to support for both and they do not support STX films.

This is rather unfortunate for those of us that watch digital only thru these services. Of the 400+ digital movies I’ve redeemed, this is the first time this has happened. After not getting VUDU or MoviesAnywhere to honor the code, I have initiated a return w/ Best Buy.

This movie has it all ; intrigue, suspense,drama,gunplay,quality violence and the first appearances i know of Brad Pitt and James Gandolfini. Slater and Arquette create an exciting magnetism thats both hot and believable.

Jackson in Quentin Tarantinos’ breakthrough screenplay. This all-star cast make Tarantinos’ first major motion picture a must see for all. (adults or real mature kids preferred,if youre to squeamish for this one- get a life!).

Tarantino wrote this film 20+ years ago. There are several scenes that will simply knock you out. Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, and James Gandolfini each have about 5 minutes on screen and you will watch those scenes over and over again.

Quick turnaround and exactly as described. No problemo.

Who can hate it? Although a sometimes corny romance action film, many of the then and future stars of film would take roles (big and small) in this film. Some of my favorite mono/dialogues come from this film, which I cannot mention without giving away the twists.

Look for Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Michael Rappaport, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper and many more in this endearing film. Starring main cast Chirstian Slater and Rosanna Arquette as the romantics.

On a side note, great score.

I really love this film and the way it’s subject matter delves into identity theft, I had it done to myself so I can identify with it. Sandra Bullock is perfect in the role of Angela Bennett/ Ruth Marks, Jeremy Northam is convincing in the role of the villain and Dennis Miller is great in the role of the only person she can turn to in her crisis.

Veteran actress Diane Baker is also great in the role of her mother suffering from Alzheimers’. As is the rest of the supporting cast. It is a great suspense film. Thanks for it Ebay. com and seller.

The Net is a fast paced thriller about a software expert who unwittingly becomes engaged in a high stakes game of cyber espionage. The plots twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. Prepare for a surprise ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Granted, the technology has changed drastically since the mid 90’s, however the stolen identity aspect of this suspense movie is still ever present. I love Sandra Bullock movies, and she really shines in this one.

I’ve seen it at the movies when it first came out over a decade ago. I’ve seen in on TV several times since. It was finally time to get the DVD as they don’t show it on cable much lately. The movie was released in the year that I was just getting really interested in computers, so watching the movie really “hit the spot” back then.

I’ve never lost the interest even though many things have changed dramatically. If you are a Sandra Bullock fan, the chances are you’ve already seen this gem. If not, you won’t be disappointed in this oldie but goodie ;).

It’s excellent to get to the end of The Grey and feel something, and there’s no doubt that the especially stellar action sequences are made better because Carnahan gives us reason to care about the people in them.

But when you’ve got the soulful, inherently compelling Liam Neeson in the lead role, you don’t need nearly as much of the high drama that The Grey tosses in at the beginning and especially the end, with childhood flashbacks and even poetry letting us inside the mind of a man who could convey all of that anguish and strength in a single close-up.

The Grey has exciting ambition and the highest emotional stakes imaginable, but it also feels like a bit of an overshot; if this is the welcome new direction Joe Carnahan is taking his career, here’s hoping he tones it down a bit next time around.

The Grey is my favorite movie. I love this movie because the scenes and characters are engaging. The plots are well-written, and the move in general is believable. It is sad to see such suffering throughout the scenes, but the story is of survival, and these men have to go through great extremes to ensure they survive the Alaskian Weather, dangerous animla,s and harsh storms.

Love Liam Niason, he is the best actor in my opinion of this time and era.

When this movie arrived I postponed watching because I did not think I would like it. The beginning was slow and almost lost me. About 2/3 of the way through I thought it slowed again. But all the stuff before, after, and in between was good.

I was entertained. The Grey kept me guessing: will they survive? My answers were yes, no, maybe, and yes. The acting was great and never once did I side with wolves!.

I can’t say enough about this movie. I was lucky enough to catch it in a limited theater release here in the states, and it completely blew me away. not just me, but everyone in the theater. This was the only time in my life when the movie ended, the lights came up, and we all just sat there in silence.

Nobody could speak or move or it would break the spell; it was like we all needed to be there to decompress together before venturing back out into reality. Since then I have anxiously waited for the DVD to be available here so I can show it to everyone I know, because I feel like this is the kind of movie everyone can enjoy and everyone should see.

Even if you’re not big into anime or animated movies in general, although you will appreciate it even more if you are. The animation is beautiful, but it’s the story. it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, grips hold of you hard and doesn’t let go.

The range of emotions I experienced while watching this was just astounding and unexpected.

Your Name is a Japanese animated film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai, based off his own novel of the same name. I was reluctant to watch this movie at first because besides the works of Studio Ghibli, I am not the biggest fan of anime.

However, Your Name was making waves around the internet, with people considering it the best anime movie of all time. I am someone who is naturally gravitated towards hype, and with expectations leveled, and my mind opened, and I went ahead and saw the film.

And boy, when the credits rolled, I was stunned, mesmerized and enchanted with just how beautiful this movie was in every way. My relationship with anime does not extend beyond Ghibli films, first few seasons of Pokémon and JRPG cutscenes, the reason being I always feel Japanese animation lacks gravitas and instead replaces it with heavy-handed over-the-top storytelling and voice acting.

I was glad to see Your Name not succumbing to any of those tropes, in fact, Your Name being an animated film, was able to make laugh, cry, feel anxious and fulfilled all within 90 minutes, something most live-action movies with real actors cannot even dream of trying.

Your Name is about two people from different parts of Japan, through some cosmic fate, body-swapped with one another. Mitsuha, a girl from a small rural town, wakes up in the body of Taki, a boy from big city Tokyo, and vice versa.

Not knowing why this is happening to them, they both communicate via leaving messages on each other’s phone and notebook. Mitsuha, always dreaming of the big city and tired of her country life, takes this magical opportunity to live in Tokyo and runs with it.

They both help each achieve things they otherwise would not have been able to achieve. And through interactions with each other’s friends and families, they begin to learn about one another. One day, however, the body-swapping stopped, and Taki sets out on a journey to find Mitsuha to meet her in person.

Premise of the movie is simple: Taki is a young man who lives in Tokyo, while Mitsuha is a young woman who lives in a small town. They’ve never met, yet they are connected by strings of fate. One day they start randomly swapping bodies for a day.

At first they just they think it’s just a weird dream, until their friends ask them about why they were acting weird. As they realize what’s going on, they have to contend with the various differences of big city vs small town, male vs female, while not revealing anything to their friends.

They start becoming friends, perhaps even more over time, until suddenly they stop swapping. As his memories start to fade, Taki tries to find the small town where Mitsuha lives to confess, only to find a surprise is waiting for him.

I’ll let you find out what that surprise is, if you want. The music is performed by a group called Radwimps who actually sing their songs in both languages, and it is really great, the whole soundtrack (like the movie in my opinion) is amazing.

Fun Fact: They even did a live concert in Japan to the movie so you can see the orchestra performing the songs with the movie in the background on Youtube, but they are set during spoiler scenes, so watch the movie first.

I’m extremely biased and love everything Hiroyuki Imaishi has directed. Whether it be his Gainax days (Gurren Lagann or Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt) or his Studio Trigger days (Kill la Kill or Space Patrol Luluco) I end up enjoying it immensely.

Promare has become another enjoyable feature for me as well. Also, if you’ve watched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann then you may remember the quote “ If there’s a wall in our way, then we smash it down! If there isn’t a path then we carve one ourselves! The magma of our souls burns with a mighty flame! Gurren Lagann! Just who in the hell do you think we are!?”.

Well there’s a similar quote about burning souls. If you’re wondering why Galo looks like Kamina from TTGL, then just know Trigger brought up Imaishi’s drawings prior to TTGL and he just really loves that hairstyle and things it “cool”.

I’m a simple man, I see studio Trigger, I buy. I already watched this online, but when I very rarely get truly invested in a project I’ll buy it multiple times to support the maker. Just ask the multiple copies of every Supergiant game I’ve bought.

Studio Trigger’s anime has been known for being colorful, bombastic, and unique; this is no different. All the usual tropes, explode on the screen with this new art style. The action never lets up, and has all the subtlety of a car crash, but in a good way? It’s great.

This show was amazing when I was a young kid, but is even better now that I am older. Teen Titans is the one of the best, if not the best animated series ever created. It is a timeless classic that will stand the test of time.

It has amazing and memorable characters, wonderful stories, and awesome villians. Teen Titans is one of those shows that meshes comedy, adventure, action, drama, horror, romance, suspense and any other genre you can think of into one harmoniously and complete animated show.

Watching this masterpiece in remastered blu-ray brought back me back to my childhood. Teen Titans is a must watch for show for anyone and everyone. An absolute masterpiece!!!.

The original Teen Titan series was one of my favorite animated shows. The complete series (seasons 1 – 5 + Trouble in Tokyo movie) on Blu-Ray not only streamlines the set down to 6 discs in a Blu Ray case that is only 12 mm wide (I saved a ton of shelf space in my media cabinet), but also upgrades the episodes to enhanced widescreen (from the original 4:3 ratio) while maintaining clear sharp images and high quality sound.

So nice to watch the episodes without the “black bars” on either side of my TV screen.

This series came out when I was a kid and I loved everything about this series ever since, from the theme music to the humor, especially when it talks about the tough stuff about the characters back stories, which makes the characters that much more relatable.

The animation style in particular is engaging, with a humorous take on traditional comic style story telling. This beloved cult classic series has engaged a new fan with my sister. Shes going to have an excellent Christmas this year!.

I absolutely love this movie. It is a cult classic, and as time goes on, I think that it will entertain teens and young adults for generations to come. I loved seeing it on Disney as a child. Now I am older and I have a kid sister who loves it just as much as I do.

Robyn Lively fits the lead role wonderfully and Zelda Rubenstein was another perfect fit. It is unfortunate that a soundtrack was never released for this. There are some pretty catchy musical numbers in here.

Who could forget “Top That” or “The Most Popular Girl”. This film has some very comical moments and memorable wordrobe choices as well. When I see some of these outfits and the way their school was, it makes me so nostalgic that I wish I could have been a teenager at that time.

The only thing I don’t like about this movie is the way the relationship between Loise and Polly changes and the fact that they did not show the reaction of Brad’s snobby girlfriend at the end. That would have been great.

Either way, this is a classic that you should definately consider adding to your collection.

Awesome oldies but goodie movie. When I was young this movie was around. So now that I’m an adult it brought back memories. Hopefully my kids will enjoy as much as I did.

I can’t lie, I grew up watching the original Teen Titans show and was originally iffy on the concept of Teen Titans Go, with its different animation and departure from the serious storytelling the original had.

But watching the Teen Titans Go show was nothing but a great time; it’s a crazy funny show. The movie takes everything that makes Teen Titans Go great and dials it to 1,000. It’s very similar to The Lego Batman Movie, in that it’s very self-referential, has a joke almost every five seconds and is an absolute joy to watch the whole way through multiple times.

When the characters aren’t spouting one-liners, there’s a background visual gag that’ll have you laughing, or a subtle reference that’ll have comic fans giggling endlessly. Seriously, this movie is a blast for both kids and adults.

It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick.

If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line.

Holy Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, Batman! This was a surprisingly wonderful film, even though, as a fan of the show, I wasn’t expecting too much from it. Yes, if you have seen the show, this stays true to the humor of the series and if you are a fan of that than you will most likely like this movie.

I will say it was a lot more heartfelt than I was expecting, which is what elevated it to be, in my opinion, better than the show itself. If you are not a fan of the show or don’t like toilet humor or just complete wackiness than I would recommend staying clear of this one.

This was my birthday gift to myself. I am a fan of Dylan OBrien. I can see he is extremely talented, professional, and dedicated. He filmed Teen Wolf while he was injured from Maze Runner and even then exuded such enthusiasm and was essentially running the FBI.

So funny!.

I was slow to the start of the Teen Wolf TV show craze. Once I started it though I just could not stop. For starters, I do not binge shows. Just not my thing. I am much more of an “enjoy the ride” type of person.

I just couldn’t stop watching this show! I am a grown woman! It is just great. The plots at times are predictable to be sure, but some of these “big bads” were just fantastic. Even the adult arcs were great.

I adore this show, and was so sad to see it come to an end. I suppose all things must though.

If you are a fan of werewolves this is a series you should add to your permanent collection. I’m glad I finally got the whole series especially since I never got to see the final season of the series so I can’t wait to watch the series all over again.

Worth every penny.

After 58 years it is still a classic! Bud Baxter is in a company where the guys in upper management are truly reprehensible. If he wants to keep his job or get promoted, his bosses want to use his upper west-side apartment for their extra-marital affairs.

Being a bachelor, but wanting a little companionship himself, he tries to date one of the elevator girls and winds up with a problem when he finds out that she is one of the bosses affairs. Great cast, screenplay and direction.

Gene Wilder’s films have been called sardonic comedies and this is a good example!.

My favorite Marilyn Monroe film is ‘Some like it Hot. ‘ Researching the film I found the director Billy Wilder has quite a film resume. This film has been recommended viewing for ages. Finally found it in the bargain bin at Best buy and had to pick it up.

Great film with a darkly comedic premise that is still relevant today. Great quality Blu-ray with decent extras. Get it if you find it. Recommend.

One of the best written comedies of the golden age of Hollywood. It is biting, satirical and emotionally deft where it counts as well as where it is unexpected when it reveals the tragic underpinnings of modern corporate living from all facets.

4 star review is only because like all MGM discs from a period, it annoyingly has no main menu and just cycles the movie, features only accessible through the pop up menu which inhibits the experience.

Okay, when I was little, I was a big Turtle fan. I had this deep, emotion connection with the show. Years later, yes, I never give it much thought. In a way, my hopes were answered when I found out this movie was coming out.

One could just look at it and tell that this movie is either going to be really good or really bad. I was shocked. I’m not going to spoil anything, but I will say this. Like many, I was glad to not see Shredder.

But that aside, this movie was REALLY well done. It, like many action movies, has its faults (cheesy dialog for instance), but they suit this kind of a movie and franchise. The action sequences were great and the story was compelling and moving.

The characters were well developed, and of course, totally freaking awesome. I also say that it is good that the story is darker than the cartoon from the early 90’s. Personally, I feel the most moving stories have to be dark.

In short, this movie does a great job targeting audiences of all ages. Cartoony for the kids, compelling and interesting plot for the teens, and very good morals to remind the parents of what they should be teaching their kids.

I swear- between this, Transformers, and the announcement of a Ghostbusters video game, its been like my childhood all over again! All we need now is something Thundercats related and I’ll be all set! —– TMNT is a welcome return of the Turtles to the big screen.

The voices chosen for the characters are all spot-on (though I do wonder who they’ll pick to fill Mako’s legendary shoes for the sequel?). At times, the story seems to be a bit drawn-out for the Turtles’ normal pace, while curiously, some of the scenes fly by without much explanation (such as the monster capturing scenes) which I would rather have seen extended a little more.

The strong parts of this movie fall on awesome soundtrack, the CGI, and the intense duel between Leo and Raph which really steals the show! Sadly, Mike and Don don’t really seem to play too big a part here, perhaps that will be rectified in the sequel? As for the rest, well, you’ll just have to decide for yourself! Turtle fans, don’t pass this one up!.

This TMNT movie is not as good as the 1990 teenage mutant Ninja turtles movie but definitelybetter than the 2014 remake! Also, captain America is Casey Jones in this movie which is great! Flame On!
