I had one for about two years and I cringed every time I went to turn it on because of the extreme noise level. I had to start wearing ear protection every time I used it. I normally don’t wear ear protection with my power tools, and I’ve been using power tools for over 30yrs.

But the noise actually hurt my ears. It seemed to resonate and thus be amplified throughout the frame and housing of the device. The noise level of this saw is rediculous. Also, the fence could not be paralelled to the blade (maybe there was blade adjustments, I don’t know) without hand-forcing it to a subjective non-rest angle and locking it right away (and doing a test cut) before starting to saw.

Also, the fence did not glide nicely but had to be budged and coerced, not a lot, but just enough to be very annoying.

Had this saw for about 4 years on my work shop and used it occasionally. The fence needed to be constantly checked for trueness and last week the motor failed. I requested Bosch sell me the saw without the stand which I already had purchased with my saw.

They wouldn’t have it. Nope, can’t help you. Bosch lost a customer…. buyer beware!!!.

Once assembled only adjustment needed was squaring up the miter gauge and setting up the fence. Saw has soft start feature which is hard to find in a saw at this price range. The gravity rise table is a nice feature allowing me to easily move the saw.

After reading reviews on this saw I decided to purchase it. It now compliments my Bosch compound miter saw.

I came close to buying the SKIL table saw that has foldable legs and is not a worm gear. However that was taking for ever to get shipped so I upgraded and bought this one and am very happy I did as it is so easy to move around with I would say is the best rolling cage in the business.

So why only 3 stars? It is because I cannot get a perfect straight cut. If I cut say two inches one end will be two inches and the other end 1. 90 inches or so and enough that one can see the difference by just eyeballing it.

I spent several hours in adjusting the fence in the hopes of a straight cut. I even bought a digital measuring gauge to measure exact distances. Now the saw blade is not square. It is 90 degrees sq. to the table but it is twisted by about 45 mm from end to end when one does a test where a tooth is marked and measured and then the blade rotated till that same tooth is on the other side.

Now there are 4 hex screws to adjust the blade but I am unable to get them loose with the hex wrench provided. I then tried my own heavier duty hex wrench and I cannot get them lose. I even put a hollow pipe at the end of the heck wrench for extreme leverage and still cannot get the hex bolt lose.

So I am stuck with a twisted blade that one could adjust if one could loosen the screws.

I bought this because my son has one and I have used it for various projects. Really not hard to assemble. Took me about 30 minutes. It only required some minor adjustments to meet my exacting standards.

The 90 degree setting was about 1/10th of a degree off, but was not difficult to adjust. The fence zero was pretty much the same. I found the guide tape to be reasonably accurate, but I always use my own tape te set the fence.

The fence itself was parallel to within a small fraction and it was adjustable to tolerance. The plattin on my saw is flat, I checked it with a 4 foot level, a straight edge and a second level. Any imperfections are negligible and minute.

I couldn’t see a backlight shone behind the levels or straight edge. My son’s was equally accurate when I checked it. If the saw bogs or trips a breaker it is being fed too fast or the user is binding the cut.

I have cut sheet goods and ripped dimensional lumber without a problem. The hardest to rip was treated 4×4. It takes two people and the piece must be flipped to get a through cut. I was not sawmill accurate because the 4x4s were not straight, but the saw did the job nicely.

I have had a couple of other portable table saws, but the Skil is the best of the lot.

Yeah, I’m that homeowner. Didn’t seem right. Man I’m so glad I procrastinated.

Delivery excellent. One rail was damaged but replacement was sent immediately. It takes a little while to build and set up so that everything is square but once done it cuts beautifully. The table extensions allow for cutting a relatively large sheet accurately I found the cut to be very smooth without any ‘tear out’.

I have used it on several different woods now of differing thicknesses and it has coped comfortably with all of them. The only issue is that it has a rather harsh start up and can blow fuses on a normal home circuit.

However, using an extension to slow the surge seems to have cured this. It stores easily after folding and is no trouble to move where required and open up again for use. Very pleased with this saw.

Bought this saw because the Rage TCT blade is good for cutting metal as well as wood, and used it for all sorts of jobs as a site saw on a self build project. We’ve used it to cut stainless panels, steel roof sheets and mostly all sorts of sheet materials and other timber.

The blade cut 25mm laminated ply worktops cleanly (as good as the factory cut edges) and made light work of 18mm WBP ply. The blade diameter and motor power (2400w) are a good compromise. More would be better, but this was OK.

Depth of cut (67mm?) is enough for most stud work and battens. Assembly was a bit fiddly, but follow the instructions and you get there without trouble. The frame looks flimsy, but is very stable, surprisingly solid in use.

The clamping rip-fence works well, but the sliding table is a bit jerky. (It just slides, not on roller bearings. ) We keep it clean, but it needs to be used carefully. The table top is cast aluminium, a bonus, whereas the motor housing is moulded plastic: could be more robust.

Some of the spring-loaded clamp screws shake loose, so look out for these and check before use. Off switch is well-positioned: one touch with your knee at the end of a cut and you are safe. Discarded the blade guard: falls down onto your workpiece and obscures your view.

Maybe I’m not using it right, but this is the one feature not thought through properly. Overall, very pleased with this tool. Contractors on site thought it a good bit of kit, not pro grade perhaps, but not far off.

4 stars is a bit mean, maybe, but there is some room for improvement. I’m sure this would come at a higher price, though, and this is very good value as it is.

I purchased the saw understanding that it had some potential flaws but the price, the extending table features and the ability to fold it away convinced me to buy it. As other reviewers I watched the YouTube video on how to construct and it took just under 2 hours.

Once assembled there was a little faff to get things sliding smoothly, the riving knife aligned and tighten some screws that were missed during manufacture. Please be aware though that there are some design flaws such as the plastic plate where the blade comes through.

It’s way too flexible and the gaps allows thin off-cuts to fall inside the blade housing. After spending time fishing bits of wood out of the blade housing, I used gaffer tape to remove the gaps on each side and this has worked really well.

The other aspect to watch out for is to make sure the fence is always parallel and worth measuring the fence distance to the front and rear of the blade before making cuts. If it’s off slightly it can be manually jiggled parallel before clamping tight.

Also be aware that the blade on this machine has a 1 inch bore rather than the more usual 30mm. Overall though, the good features far outweigh the niggles and its well worth the money (in the UK at least).

I’d say that the quality was acceptable for the price. Not great but also not bad. I’ve used it extensively to build a large bed and I’m really pleased that I purchased it. I’d also recommend watching the review on Casualdiy by Tomasz as he has done a really good review and has also reviewed different blades.

I bought this saw when I moved to my retirement home in Florida. When going from a full house length basement workshop to shared space in a two car garage I had to choose carefully equipping my new woodworking shop.

I did my homework carefully and examined a bunch of name brand jobsite table saws. The DE WALT was an easy choice primarily because of included features, quality and price. I was used to a full sized 10” table saw with a much bigger motor and of course had my concerns about bogging this machine down with the feed rates I was used to.

Yes, I could not push quite as hard on this saw making cuts in 2” material but surprisingly for me, with a sharp blade ¾” red oak which I use often cuts burn free at a reasonably rapid rate. Cuts are accurate and stay that way through even a medium sized furniture project.

Of course longer cuts in sheet goods are made with a track saw and not all the material goes through the table saw. I really enjoy using this saw. The only alteration I did was to add an extended height baffle that attaches with magnets next to blade under the table.

It helps capture a lot more of the dust. I pop it off when changing blades. If you are in the market for a compact table saw don’t hesitate to consider this one. It is really a sound investment.

I finally got the version 7491RS of this saw. I love the folding mobile table. Pros: Blade alignment to miter slot; Miter angle to gauge; Bevel, all spot on out of the box. Rack and pinion fence superb; Stand is excellent, folds and opens and rolls well; very solid with a nice heft.

Cons: No soft start; Instruction sheet hard to correlate with the saw in places – especially for accessory on board storage; Miter gauge ok but I upgraded to a better one with a longer bar – not as poorly made as reviews have suggested.

My wife and I downsized to a townhouse and i had to give up my two car garage shop and my full size table saw. I did a lot of research before choosing the Dewalt 7490. This saw is everything it is advertised to be and more.

Set up was a snap, the manual states that adjustments are made at the factory and should not be needed and they are correct. Blade and fence alignment, everything was right on right out of the box. Plenty of power and runs as smoothly as any big saw.

The blade is fully enclosed below the table and with the built in dust port connected to my shop vac the saw is almost dust free. The rack and pinion fence is a breeze to use and is dead accurate. I do a lot of small work involving very narrow rip cuts and the “swing over” auxiliary fence adds another measure of safety and accuracy.

I purchased a fine cut finish blade too but the furnished blade cuts so cleanly that I may never need it. My saw will live at the end of my workbench which serves as an out feed table and I have no need to move it around.

The scissors stand furnished with the saw looks sort of puny in the literature and I was sure I would have to build a table just for but it is surprising strong and very stable. Although i have no need to move it the whole rig is very portable for job site use.

This is the perfect saw for me, Dewalt quality throughout and I would highly recommend this saw to anyone in the market.

So far, I’ve owned this saw about a month and I’ve used it quite a bit. Probably more than other saws I’ve had. I really love ❤️ it. I’ve used the crap out of it in all truth. Seems very accurate out of the box and very easy setup, take down and ease of mobility.

It’s extremely lightweight. Well built as well. By comparison regarding stands, I have a Dewalt mitersaw on a bosch gravity rise stand and I like this stand more, the combo is much lighter than the dewalt bosch combo.

It sets up everybit as easy and seems as well made. What I want to see is a comparable stand for the wormdrive miter packaged together and I’ll buy that too. It is loud so wear hearing protection always.

Only other thing I noticed is the fence wants to drift away from the blade when fighting larger stock. Perhaps there’s an adjustment for that I overlooked. When you lock the fence, that dude needs to lock down tight period.

I would like to see some protective feet or boots on the legs so they aren’t being scratched up while folded up. I would also like to see noise dampening sheets on the underside of the table.

So far I really like this saw but I’ve only used it a few times. It was easy to unpack and assemble which took me about an hour and a half. I spent another hour and a half adjusting the table squareness, tilt stops and rip fence.

A magnetic angle guage was really helpful. I like the easy mounting and dismounting of the blade guard and anti-kickback pawls. I also like the integrated storage of these as well as the sawdust diverter and push stick.

Raising and lowering the stand is very easy as is moving the saw on the oversized wheels. I’ve only used the saw for ripping some cedar 2x4s which went through very easily. I haven’t tried ripping the full depth yet but it looks promising.

My only complaint is with the quality of the miter gauge. It’s very light and flimsy. I ordered a Kreg guage for more precision crosscuts. This is why I am only giving it 4 stars.

After 2 yrs this saw has not lived up my expectations I purchased this table saw November 11, 2018. During assembly the cart bushing cracked due to being too tight from the factory. I ended getting through to Bosch (yes Bosch) and after a month or two I finally received a package of hardware which included the plastic bushings.

However, by this time I have already used stacked washers instead and this worked very well. The saw is very, very powerful and the long reach to the right of the blade is awesome and the extra high saw blade has come in handy a couple times.

With all that said, the pluses do not out-way the negatives. Even though the fence is rack-n-pinion, back rail is loose compare to the front so I can not depend on it being parallel to the blade. The zero clearance plate is horrible.

Very week component because it is so thin it flexes, so any down pressure in that area can cause a poor cut with small pieces. Forget trying to make a stronger plate, there is no room to do it. There is co much interference it make it impossible to do.

What I’d give for a more traditional, standard design. The table is not flat all the way across but this I can tolerate. The table surface coating is not holding up at all. I think I expected too much from this saw and will probably go to a more reliable Dewalt, giving up some of the features the Skilsaw may have.

I am finding I want more accuracy and reliability. Skilsay has not responded to any of my concerns regarding the table flatness and more robust clearance plates.

Before laying out this sort of money on a circular saw I did endless research on this and other sites selling the machine, but the best reviews came from YouTube. Although more expensive than some of the others it is worth every penny of the extra cost.

In particular, the most important part of a table saw is the fence and I cannot fault this. It is fixed at both ends and is controlled by a rotating wheel. There is a scale and pointer to give the finished thickness.

You do have to calibrate the saw before using it for fine work but this is very straightforward and the are some excellent instructions on YouTube for this very machine. Once calibrated it holds its settings although I would recommend that you regularly check the squareness of the blade to the table as the method of fixing is not the strongest.

Blade changing is quick and simple. There is an outlet for dust extraction but you will need to pack out the hole if you are using a standard vacuum hose when visiting site. It has everything I need for both carpentry and joinery.

Ordered the DeWalt DWE7485 table saw from FFX, it arrived within 24hrs! Saw blade was vertical on arrival requiring zero adjustment from factory setting. Similarly the blade was parallel to the fence and required no adjustment.

I ordered a pair of JessEm feather boards and DeWalt safety pawl before trying the saw, having discovered the dangers involved – this is my first table saw! The noise when operating is not excessive, and is easily lessened with basic ear protectors.

With my first cut of a piece of skirting board I thought the blade had dropped down, as there was no resistance or change of sound, but the board had been cut without effort. The cut finish with the blade supplied as standard was very clean and smooth.

The power ON switch was easy to locate, and the STOP button very easy to operate by hand or knee. The blade stopped rotating very quickly after hitting the STOP button. A very well made table saw, with a quality feel.

The rip fence is amazing, very easy to adjust, and locks solidly at the required settings. I can recommend this saw.

Had a cheaper, less powerful table saw before this one. It lasted through a few projects, and did it’s job. However there was always a fair bit of work to get accuracy to an acceptable standard as the fence was a bit wobbly and the blade had some play as well.

Recently decided to bit the bullet and upgrade to something a little more premium for the next few projects on the horizon. I can’t believe the difference it has made. The saw was accurate straight out of the box, the rack and pinion fence is extremely solid and soo easy to operate.

Where before I would have spend minutes for each new sized cut. I now takes seconds. The blade is decent and fine for general ripping, but I plan to upgrade to a Diablo blade as I occasionally have some finer work.

It has ripped comfortably through cypress pine as well as merbau. Reviews complain about the mitre fence, It does have a slight play, but but for my purposes it was fine. Portability wise, it has a bit of weight, but easy grips ensure that you are Ok moving it around a bit.

Highly recommended with the standout being the rack and pinion fence system.

I have owned 4 table saws and used several company saws over the years. This saw is by far the best “jobsite” table saw I have ever used. I was a little leery about the 8″ blade. There are so many more blade choices with a 10″ blade.

I haven’t missed the extra height of the blade and the blade that came with the saw has been fantastic for ripping, crosscuts, plywood, OSB. I plan on just using the same blade when I replace it. The saw is exceptionally thought out.

I love how the fence comes off easily and mounts underneath for storage. All of the other accessories and neatly (and tightly) stored on the saw as well. Super ergonomics! I mentioned I was leery about the 8″ blade.

But the 8″ saw has the same power as the 10″ model, but it spins the blade 1000 RPM’s faster. As such, the saw screams through anything I have ran through it with perfect results. The extra RPM’s make it exceptionally fast cutting.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it works. My last saw was a Makita. I was very pleased with it and thought I would buy another. I was shocked that the Makita was $140 more. The DeWalt is also much better designed and not only was it cheaper, I think it is far better.

Makita needs to up their game! I LOVE the frame on the DeWalt so much better than the plastic base on the Makita as well. This little DeWalt is exceptional and it stores so compactly and is really easy to lug around on the jobsite.

I love it and would HIGHLY recommend it to a friend.

I bought one of these from Rockler in 2017, I figured I’d write a review now that I’ve had it a few years. First off, I’m not running a cabinet shop making cuts all day every day. I use the saw for projects large and small mostly on weekends and have quite a bit of experience.

It’s held up perfectly and remains a pleasure to use. I only had to set it up and adjust it one time–when I bought it–and it remains true, solid and accurate. It has some really nice convenience features like a pin to lock the arbor for easy blade changes, quick release and install riving knife, solid, accurate fence and rail, and left hand tilt.

The cast iron top is nicely machined. If you haven’t used a heavy 3 horsepower cabinet saw before, you can look forward to a lot less vibration and noise than smaller saws. There is zero vibration when you run it.

My complaints are minor: you have to add your own power cable (not just the plug). The stock riving knife that attaches to the blade guard is huge and sticks way behind the throat plate making it difficult to attach a zero clearance insert or use a sled that runs either side of the blade, which means people are going to be tempted to remove the riving knife instead of just the blade guard, which is super dangerous.

I’d suggest they just include the available low profile riving knife. Also, while removing / installing the riving knife is a snap, adjustment for its position behind the blade is a pain and you have to fiddle around blind inside the throat with very little room for your wrench.

All of these complaints are small potatoes, to me. I’d give this machine 4. 5 stars if that was an option, instead of 4.

Arrived with bent parts making a nut holding the riving knife assembly rub against the blade. Saw is unusable. Been trying with Jet support to get this resolved for almost 2 weeks. I understand that they are busy, but dealing with their support has been difficult.

The bottom of the base of the saw also arrived dented with some, hopefully just cosmetic, damage. Could not see any of this when package arrived off the truck. Saw was boxed and in factory packaging.

Unsure if this is the cause of the bent internals. Will update as I attempt to get this resolved. Not a happy camper.

When I unboxed this table I noticed it only had a European 2 pin plug power lead with it. However the instruction leaflet that came with it, which is printed in very small print and the photographs on it rather dark, I could clearly see that in the section of plugging it in it did include a photograph of a UK 3-pin socket.

However, as mine did not come with the UK power lead I emailed them. The response I got was ‘we don’t include the UK power lead’. They did offer to reimburse me £15 so I could buy a UK 3-pin kettle type power lead separately.

I accepted the offer and I ordered one off Amazon for £5. However I did also point out to them that their very own leaflet has a photograph of a UK 3-pin plug socket, so therefore they should either amend the leaflet or include a UK 3-pin plug socket.

Apart from that, for the price, everything is just about ok. One thing I will say is that the variable speed slider, which is on the transformer itself and not on the unit, is rather poor quality and the saw doesn’t go round as fast as I expected it to.

However it will cut wood albeit it with a few splinters on the cut faces, it depends how fast you feed the wood through. So all in all its not bad but be warned – it only comes with a European 2 pin power lead.

So if you order one be ready to email then for a partial refund so you can buy a separate uk power lead. Thanks for reading Milesfb.

I bought this table saw after reading many reviews and watching several videos about it. The overwhelming reason for my purchase was to do repairs around my home. This model was easy to assemble and the directions were more than adequate in my opinion.

The unit only needed the most minute of adjustment out of the box , and for many, it would have been fine without any. The motor is powerful enough to cut most any wood product your average user would encounter.

I tested it out on a 4×4 post and didn’t notice any issues with bogging down or the overall quality of cut. Speaking of cut quality , the saw comes standard with a 24 tooth blade so it is what it is.

If you need better cut quality plan on investing in a higher quality blade as you would with any other saw. In closing I would have no issue recommending this unit to homeowners or the beginner who needs to get his feet wet and learn prior to investing larger sums of money for “producer” or professional level saws.

The value to price proposition is very strong with this unit.

The fence as is common with most entry level table saws is not precise – the back part does shift tiny fractions but I have some ideas I’m going to try to get it to stay fixed. The zero setting on the blade positioning actually gets the blade slightly off 90 degrees to the top of the table, so to actually fix it at right angle you can use a combination of a known square hardwood piece, the fence and carefully ensure the blade is perfectly at right angle and then tighten.

Just don’t rely on the written labels – it’s off by perhaps 0. 2 or 0. 5 degrees if you place it at zero. The biggest problem I saw was that the mitre track is non standard and if you want to use a box sled with this, that existing mitre track has edges sticking out that means a simple hardwood piece won’t sit perfectly.

I’m thinking about building a sled using the left and right side of the table top. There are two plastic pieces on the left side that acts as a stop when you fold the saw and use the wheels. They have to be removed if you want to create new tracks on the left and right.

Have to think if I want to proceed like this but I have not seen anyone present a better idea to use a sled on this thing. I thought I saw a picture of an outfeed assembly with this table saw but this doesn’t come with one.

Because the legs stand out a bit, if you really want an outfeed you have to see if your box or cabinet with adjustable height to take long sheets will go across – mine can’t go flush because of the legs.

You can build a simpler legs and use any solid flat sheet to act as a custom outfeed — or you can choose to remove the legs and stand it on a different box. I chose to keep the legs because it actually does fold over and the wheels allow you to move it around easily – as long as you don’t have stair – it operates like a dolly with a table saw stuck on when you unlatch the lock on the legs and fold it.

I may not move it out until I decide to redo my deck (2021!) but I just don’t feel like removing it.

Brought this home and after a few minutes noticed the numerous design flaws. First was the miter gauge slot. there’s only 1 instead of the regular 2 and it being on the right side of the blade. Which means jigs such as featherboard or making a cross cut sled which make making cuts easier are now not usable.

The “convenient” storage for accessories are very horribly places and badly designed. The storage for the blade guard is a really tight fit taking several minutes of maneuvering to finally get it into place and is just as difficult to take out.

The miter gauge, push stick and wrenches are all stored underneath the saw table and you have to undo a nut all the way to get them out. which means poor sight to see what your doing, uncomfortable way to take out the accessories, and risk of dropping them repeatedly on the ground.

The last design problem is that if you don’t want to use the stand it, is removable, but then the dust chute drags on the ground. Whoever designed this had no idea what they were doing.

The saw came sandwiched between two molded pieces of styrofoam and has a fairly decent sized desiccant bag to help prevent moisture during storage and shipping. Everything was well-protected and well packaged and was very easy to unpack.

The saw itself is compact and all the attachments that it comes with can be stored on board. The fence attaches to the rip scale by using one set of three different locator pins, one set to the left of the blade, and two sets to the right.

When not in use, the fence can be removed and place under the saw using the locator pins on the left to secure it in place, instead of being affixed to the top of the table, or removed and stored next to the saw, only to be misplaced.

This is a plus in my book. An included push stick can be stored on the fence itself, but if not being used, is out of the way. The miter gauge can be stored under the unit when not in use. Two wrenches are included to swap out the blade and can be affixed to the unit in the back, where they are out of the way as well.

The anti-kickback assembly comes preassembled and can be stored on the right side of the unit when not in use. Swapping the anti-kickback assemble with the included non-thru sawing riving knife is simple.

Remove the throat plate, raise the saw blade, loosen the riving knife knob at least three turns and push it in, remove the riving knife and replace with the anti-kickback assembly. The table saw can be mounted to a portable stand (not-included), or it can be mounted to rigid, stable surface using the four holes that are pre-drilled in the metal frame.

Using the saw is a dream. It is much quieter than my corded saw and much easier to adjust. When the saw is turned off after using, the blade stops within a second – nice safety feature!.

If have money to bye a new 100$ or more battery, every 6 months,noooo depth of cut, heavy as hell,saw will be dead,along with two batteries in less then a year. I’ve had every job site table saw on the market in my 35 years,paying anywhere from 89$ saws to dewalts plug ins.

this one had cost me the most ever. Unless you have no power all the time don’t waste your money. By a 10″electric,,,and thanks for making me cause more batteries in our land fills.

I spent A LOT of time researching what saw to buy for my garage to upgrade from my little jobsite saw. This saw was completely under the radar and totally under valued! First, it has all the conveniences of a normal contractor saw, it’s (relatively) light and easy to move and it comes standard for 120V power but with the ease of adjustment of a cabinet saw.

Due to the motor and blade being attached to the cabinet and not the top, adjusting it to make the blade square to the miters was a breeze (check out Stumpy Nub’s video on YouTube for how to do this).

Second, The fence it comes with is great. Perhaps there are better fences that are easier to make square but still, it locks in really well and doesn’t move. Third, with the opening on the right hand side, I was able to make a few simple modifications to mine (drilling holes on the back aluminum bar) and add my Bosch router table with no other modifications to the saw.

(I did add supports under the router table top for stability). Fourth, the blade guard and riving knife are super easy to adjust. Now to the very few cons. 1) getting it up on the wheels can be a bit annoying as the back right wheel is not easy to reach if you have an outfeed table on the other side.

2) The blade clearance insert is thin and while the one that comes with he saw is steel and of great quality, it means I will need to buy a pre-made zero clearance insert for my saw as opposed to making it myself.

Bought this as my first table saw. Very happy with the decision to go with Acme: free shipping plus 10% holiday discount. The saw came in good packed pallet units. Quick and simple to set up. Using a dial gauge, was able to align the blade parallel to the tracks (within 5 mils front to back).

The fence came perfectly parallel to the tracks, so no fuss there. The fence locks in tight, no play. Just a little lifting the opposite end when the fence lock lever is pressed hard down. The extension wings are sheet metal so a bit flimsy, but feel no need to upgrade.

The miter guide came with the saw was not so good, so got an Incra replacement instead. Also the turning wheels for blade angle and level are made from plastics so a little disappointing with that (hope to get a metal replacements for them soon).

The caster wheels are convenient for moving around, but three wheels are wobbling at times (four wheels would be better). Overall, happy with the saw power, haven’t got into a situation that the blade can’t cut.

120V is convenient since no fuss to rewire the garage to 220V. Definitely recommend for someone who is looking a decent table saw under $1K.

I purchases this saw in December 2020 to replace a Boice-Crane that I have for over 40 years. I considered the Ridgid W4512, but decided to upgrade after some prodding from the bride. Shipment – 5/5, quick and hassle free delivery Packing – 4/5, well packed but the fence end was crushed, but it appears it was packed that way.

Also had missing end caps for the fence. Instructions – 4/5, about what is expected these days. Assembly – 4/5, a little rough, spend an hour smoothing and filing edges. I took my time on the calibration.

Customer Service – 5/5, still waiting final resolution (parts replacement), but I have a good feeling this will end well Operation – 5/5, I did upgrade the blade, but otherwise I am really happy with my purchase.

It’s nice to have a very powerful saw (with a riving knife – imagine that!) and real dust collection! It travels around the shop effortlessly. Yes I would recommend it.

I don’t see the point of having a table saw that has so little precision. Sure it is cheap, but the results I got were so bad that it would be possible to have better results with a circular saw, without having to deal with the safety issues of a table saw! So, for a list of problems: – There’s just one single mitre groove! – The only mitre groove is a proprietary size! Nothing will fit there, neither a T-slot accessory or a regular groove accessory, like a store bought featherboard – So the manual suggestions to use a featherboard are to clamp them on the table.

But the bottom of the table is VERY irregular, making it really hard to clamp anything where you actually need it. Also, the rip fence is pretty small, so you will have a real hard time to attach a featherboard there to press the wood down – It’s A LOT of work on the user’s side to ensure the rip fence is parallel to the blade With a terrible rip fence and a super hard experience to set a featherboard, you are inviting kickbacks.

For a minor issue I could live with on a table saw, I’d also say the lack of a soft start is very annoying. So bottom line is sure, it’s nice to be able to buy a cheaper saw, but what’s the point of having a table saw that is so hard to use in a safe way? A circular saw plus a few jigs would allow you to do all this table does, for a similar price and in a much more safe way.

I got this saw as a gift from my brother a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, it came with a pitted top that both had major indents and raised points. The fence also came dented. So, I took it back to exchange it.

However, the replacement had similar, though not as a terrible indents on the top and the mitre gauge came all scratched up. It appeared to have been used before and it was clearly an open box product (without any markings or a discount to indicate it was a returned item).

Finally, I went back and asked to have someone help me pick out an undamaged table saw and got one that was acceptable. Still the top on this one is not flat and the factory calibrations on the fence and saw blade were lacklustre.

It’s fine for the price, but just be careful when picking one out at the store. I will say the Home Depot employee that helped me exchange the product was super helpful and very nice. Even though I had to return it twice, I’d still recommend the saw for the sale price.

Purchased this when I first got into woodworking and did a great job at the time. It’s easy to assemble, but I wish the blade came preinstalled. The push stick and the fence aren’t the greatest, but the price you have to ignore those issues.

I used it to build furniture, flooring and other random DIY projects at home. If you are a serious woodworker, then this isn’t for you. For the average home owner or DIY’er, this is a great starting saw.

I haven’t had the chance to actually use it yet, but its assembly was easy enough. The only thing I am unsure of is the table surface. Every table saw I’ve seen seems to be a very smooth surface, usually having been waxed for smoother motion across the table, this one is a little rough.

That may change with time and use, it’s also another reason why I have only given 4stars; the other being I still need to cut wood.

I bought this song for my son as a birthday present. He really, really enjoys it. Great product and great value!

The saw works well. Adjustments are challenging as there is lots of play in the guide that you hold wood against. It does what I need it to do. Ok for the price.

I own a small construction company. About 5 years ago I switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee for our cordless power tools. I also own Makita and Festool cordless and corded tools where I find Milwaukee doesn’t compete or where Milwaukees tools are inferior.

I purchased the Milwaukee M-18 table saw about 2 years ago. At the time we had two Dewalt corded 10” job site table saws. The Dewalt saws were outstanding, as a matter of fact I sold both of them to men who work for our trim sub contractors and Insee them on our job sites often.

So, when I bought the Milwaukee M-18 8 1/2” saw, it had very strong competition from Dewalt in this tool. Overall, I and my workers are satisfied with this saw. It’s powerful enough to rip plywood, and 2x lumber.

I’ve also ripped LVL’s and very heavy advantech subfloor and 1 1/2” MDF sheets that were glued to gather and being wrapped in a thermoplastic labor for shop shelving. The saw is not as powerful as the corded Dewalt with a thin kerf blade nor can it cut as thick of a board.

I have 6 HD 12. 0, 6 9. 0, 2 8. 0 and a a mix of smaller cell batteries from the 3. 0 HD all batteries and we keep 3 on each van. Tonight we ripped down a bunch of non returnable 2×4’s, 2×8’s and 2×10’s that were in the trash pile from a new build custom home.

We use 1. 5” by 1. 5” boards for furring and rather than purchasing them, we take the scrap from newly framed homes and rip them down then band them together. It’s time consuming but we end up salvaging lumber that normally goes to a landfill.

We also take any longer 2x scrap and clean them up for future use. For example all our homes are framed with 2×6 exteriors, 2×12 floor joists, 2×10 rafters or if called for… anything from 2x4x16 to LVL’s… we also clean up (cut back to square or into useful storable shapes.

Last year we threw away 6 40 yard dumpsters of scrap lumber. Anyway… back to the saw…. That being said, tonight I went through 3 M-12 batteries, well, 2 full batteries and about 1/2 of another. I cut about 600’ of 2x pine and Douglas fir (spelling??).

What I like: (1) lightweight compact and incredible transportable saw (2) ease of set up on the Milwaukee table saw stand. (3) simple and accurate rip fence. (4) power (5) Ease of adjusting blade height, blade angle, fence and the removal or install of the riving knife and safety cover.

Ergonomically… it’s well thought out… but not perfect. Truly, all Milwaukee needed to do was copy most of Dewalts portable table saw and in all fairness, it appears that Milwaukee did try. So where did Milwaukee fall short? Here are my thoughts and some of the thoughts of my workers.

(1) 10” blade would be appreciated. The 10” blade is more capable especially on 45-degree angles and on thicker materials. If Milwaukee can increase power… (2) Milwaukee uses a lot of plastic gears and poorly fit parts in the rack and pinion rip fence.

Yes it locks down but it just feels cheaply made in comparison to the Dewalt competition. (3) the rip fence measure tape is just a foil tape that has poor adhesive on the back. We leave these tools in vans.

Both saws we own have had the measure tape come Loose at the ends… then saw dust keeps them from being re-attached. Warranty covered the repairs but it took 3 weeks! (4) overall ergonomics and quality of build needs improvement considering that this saw is marketed as a “premium” professional contractor tool and it is not cheap.

Conclusion. We like the saw. We don’t plan on going back to Dewalts saws. However, we miss the quality of the Dewalt fence gearing, handles, larger blade, and overall power. With $20 dollars in better materials, with a little more thoughtfulness on ergonomics and a corporate goal that pushes excellence and absolute industry leading quality… well the saw could become something we are proud to own.

3 stars because 5 is perfect and 4 is the Dewalt saw.

Having a job come up that had no on site power, I decided to buy this cordless unit. once on the job site and opening the box an getting this setup, I noticed the blade was missing from the box, being the odd size blade and not having one on site, had to drive back to town to buy a blade.

Finally getting the unit running and checking everything for square. We ran our boards through the saw. Surprisingly the unit had the power to keep up and keep pace with our work. Being battery powered we we not sure if it will do what we wanted (being that we are used to the corded dewalt portable table saw).

We used the 12ah batteries and we only went through 2 of them for that day. Now the fence is something else. After running test pieces through and checking widths. we ran our boards through. during the glue up, we found that a lot of the boards were not lining up and process of elimination lead back to the fence.

The fence being clamped down it was loose. checking and fiddling with the catch did nothing. The manual does not show anything about adjusting the tension of the fence. We tried adjusting the fastener for the fence, but that either made it only snug or made it extremely hard to glide the fence.

Im not sure if this is normal for this saw. but this is a no no in my books and does not sit with my normally praising workmanship on Milwaukee gear. (and I own a lot of their M12, M18 line up). Basically Good power, great battery life, bad precision, bad fence.

I had to purchase this table saw three times,(i purchased it from the home depot)the first time I got it the saw had a crack near where the riving knife sits which made the blade not sturdy. Making the return to the home depot was a living hell, since i bought this as a combo kit with the stand, home depot insisted i had to return it all together, eventually i convinced them it is the exact same saw on their shelf.

The second table saw i got didnt even have its battery or charger. So i had to go to home depot yet again to get another saw, and the last saw i got the throat plate was warped, so i called milwaukee and asked them to send me another one which they obliged to do.

Just to find out that i had to swap the set screws the lock lever and the black sticker over to the new throat plate. Come on milwaukee i expect better i have bought a dozen milwaukee tools and have never had an issue like this.

Pros to this saw it is very compact and light, i immediately put a diablo blade on it. Cons i feel like the saw feels under powered when ripping a 2×8 8 ft stud i hope i dont have any issues ripping plywood, osb, melamine.

I have used this 4 times. Anytime I try and cut wood using the guide, (like you would with a table saw), I cannot cut the wood to the same dimension. I am cutting mdf and kick board that is 1/4 of an inch.

The issue appears to be when sliding the wood along the fence, i put horizontal pressure (a little) to keep the wood against the fence. This deflects the blade and you end up cutting a piece that is smaller in width that you had intended.

If you have the metal arm up you will find that the cut does not pass by the metal arm guide. I have not found a way to cut (i. e. rip a piece of wood, like kick board, small sheet of mdf) straight. Even cutting large pieces of wood or plastic pipe and not using the guide, you still need to be careful that you do not push against the blade as you will deform it and not cut straight.

I own many many Worx products, and this is the first one I’m truly disappointed with. I had high hopes based on the size and features, but I was very let down by the performance. I used it for the first time today to rip some 1/2″ planks and 3/8″ strips as part of a project to add jambs to my pocket door, and the rip cuts were all over the place.

The blade wobbles (the board pushes it around too easily), so it was impossible to get a clean, straight cut. I had the blade cover well clamped, and used the guide per the instructions, I even took it real slow – but no help.

I had to run the board through a few times just to get a useable edge, but the board still looks horrible (I’ll have to use a healthy dose of putty to fix the finished product. Unfortunately, I’m out of the return period (I should have tested it out sooner), or I’d get rid of this tool.

I can see how this saw would be good for jigsaw cuts, but not as a table saw alternative or for ripping boards.

I saw this online and the reviews were pretty good overall for performance and versatility, but I don’t get it. I picked one up, unpacked it, took a look, turned it on to listen to it, then returned it to the store.

It’s very flimsy. This may be fine for light weight applications such as a hobbyist building bird houses, but nothing heavier than that. It says it can cut wood up to 1 1/2″ but you’d be there all day for each cut and after listening to it run, I suspect the motor would burn out pretty quickly.

Using it to cut metal pipe? You’d be better off with a handheld hacksaw. It’s a jigsaw mounted upside down to a plastic table. That’s it. Before buying this saw, seriously consider the applications you have in mind.

The Delta 36-5100 10 In. Table Saw was built better than I expect for this price. The packaging was excellent and with the Saw packaged on a wooden pallet it was easy to move round. But what I didn’t expect and can’t give enough praise to was the shipping.

Not only did my saw arrive quickly from across the USA (I live in Central Calif. near Yosemite National Park), with the Lift Gate service it was delivered right to my Garage. My driveway is 500 ft. long and with an incline of 8 degrees, it was not problem.

I was so pleased with your customer service I also ordered a new Drum Sander also with Lift Gate service. I’m a very happy customer!.

this saw is exactly what I feel I paid for. It took a few hours to set up, but it is rock solid and very accurate. I cant get over how quiet this saw is compared to my old saw. The packaging protected the parts perfectly, with no damage to any of the components.

I emailed customer service on tracking details and they were very helpful and got back to me that same day. I am very satisfied with this product and with the service I received from Performance Center.

I bought this a month ago….great saw and very accurate….the only negative thing I can say is the extension tables transfers the black paint on the wood….but stands off easily…..

I have owned this saw for at least 3 months now and I wanted to put it to the test before leaving a review. First of all I was very pleased with Tools Plus: website ease of use, order placement, order confirmation, shipping updates and delivery confirmation.

TP was on top of it all. I primarily use a table saw for projects around the house. Many have commented that the fence was square right out of the box. Also true for me. In fact, after going through the manual and checking everything it tells you to check- everything was right on the money.

I really love the rack and pinion fence! Super easy to adjust and it can be setup in 3 different locations on the table whichs adds to its versatility. The blade height adjustment is smooth and easy to operate.

Powerful motor and very nice saw blade. It cut through 3/4″ melamine like butter and the finished edge was sharp without a single chip. One of the saw legs is adjustable to stabilize the table. Once that is done the saw is very stable and strong.

Even though it has a carry handle, the saw is not light. I move it around with a hand truck. Again I am willing to sacrifice some portability in favor of stability and safety. All in all this saw is definitely one of the best table saws for the price.

I am an amateur woodworker and was looking for a tool I could get started with. I dream to eventually use this as a backup to a larger cast-iron model. This saw exceeds those expectations on most levels: PRO: Both the fence and blade angles were square (and 45) right out of the box! PRO: Even the stickers for the miter gauge and fence adjustment were spot-on.

PRO: The cast-aluminum table is quite flat (for a jobsite saw). PRO: The legs are solid, with the 4th leg having a thoughtful adjustability to eliminate tipping. PRO: The whole thing is tight and lightweight that I don’t miss the wheels offered on other high-end jobsite models.

CON: The gearing makes the noise VERY loud compared to anything I’ve ever used. I wasn’t expecting top-shelf features or premium out-of-box quality from an economically priced and portable saw, but I think I got it! I’ve used the black and yellow high-end competing saw and I like this one better – it even LOOKS cooler than other jobsite saws.

The only one I’d trade it for, is the SawStop saw, which is priced ~4x the SKIL.

This is an outstanding compact table saw. There’s nothing on the market that compares to this. The fact that it has built in legs is a game changer for me. The convenience of just grabbing the saw folding out the legs and you’re ready to go to work is a great feature.

The saw is sturdy and built well. Needless to say this is not a commercial saw, it’s a basic saw that is designed to handle most any job you give it. Another feature that I really appreciate is the saw folds up so you can put it in a cabinet for storage.

If you are a cabinet builder then this saw is not for you. As a do it yourself this is the perfect saw. This is also a perfect on the job site saw for contractors. If you’re looking for a small compact 10 inch table saw that is fairly priced, light weight, compact, and can get the job done then look no further you’ve just found it.

I bought mine from Lowe’s in Folsom Ca. I highly recommend this table saw.

I’m a DYI guy and I needed a table saw for occasional wood cuts in my garage. My old SKILL table saw bit the dust with the plastic cased motor actually falling out of the saw just before I moved to my retirement home.

I did want to buy the HF prior Chicago Electric brand table saw as it looked like it would be an exact fit and install to my old SKILL table, but I was too late to the party when these CE saws were discontinued and no longer available.

I researched inexpensive table saws and looked at an 8″ Ryobi from HD that was on sale, but reviews were sketchy. After looking several times at the Warrior reviews and YouTube videos I decided to purchase it along with a good Bauer 10″ blade.

I brought the saw home, installed the blade and also aligned/squared the blade to be sure the Zero angle was perpendicular using a builders speed square. After taking this time for set-up, I got the wood I needed to cut a groove, plugged the saw in, set my fence, and turned on the saw switch.

NOTHING happened. I checked the cord, plug, etc. tried the switch again. NOTHING. The switch on this new saw was defective. I took it apart, put it back in the box and took it back to the HF store for exchange (P.

I. A. ). Brought the new saw home, unboxed it, and before doing anything, plugged it in and hit the switch, and this time it came to life! I set this saw up and it works very well for my needs. I wouldn’t buy this saw for everyday use, but for my occasional needs its a 5 star purchase.

HERE’S A TIP: Be sure to align the blade as angle marker is not set to true Zero angle from the factory as the factory does not install a blade to check, let alone check to see if the the on/off switch will work! I tried to set the zero, but could not get the blade to lean over to the left enough to get saw perpendicular with the builders speed square.

There are two metric 5 allen bolts, on on each side of the front angle finder. These two bolts serve as left and right end “stops” for the adjusting the angle of the blade. I had to loosen the left stop bolt and there is just enough play in the bolt hole to move the bolt slightly to the left and lock it down in order to get more left leaning to align the blade to perpendicular and set the angle marker to true Zero.

Out of the box on the first step of setup: raising the built in riving knife for blade mounting. There is a plastic, flip-up, release lever parallel to the riving knife. I flipped it up to release the riving knife and then used the plastic hand crank to raise the knife up from the casing.

The plastic lever has a lot of wobble on it. It was a little stiff and erratic while cranking it up—not a smooth motion with the wheel and it didn’t quite fully elevate. I checked again and it was in the “release position”.

It was high enough to put a blade on but when I went to lower it, I could feel a plastic-on-plastic grind & slip and the handle wasn’t lowering the blade. Got a flashlight out and found two things:The riving knife locking lever has a plastic cap at its base holding in a spring.

This had popped loose and was lying in the well of the saw. I retrieved and snapped it back in. Then I flipped the saw up and looked underneath where the interior gear teeth for the blade height handle are.

They are a stiff plastic, 90 degrees offset to one another. There were already signs of wear from my single attempt to raise and lower the blade and it appears the spring locking release lever was no longer fully releasing (hence my inability to lower it).

Not sure how I could fix it but seeing wear right out of the plastic box on the blade height gearing did not inspire my confidence for getting long use from the saw. Great features for the price but a bit fragile with a limited lifespan if you use it a lot.

I am a novice, who installed a hardwood floor in my kitchen. An experienced carpenter who was helping me had a non-portable Makita table saw and a “portable” Hitachi mitre saw which weighed a ton. I wasn’t going to use this Warrior saw initially but brought it out anyway to see if it would work for our application.

Boy did it work. Being truly portable, we could set it up on my deck to cut the hardwood planks then easily bring it inside for the night. Portable in this case doesn’t mean less power. This saw had more than enough power to do all kinds of cutting including ripping, grooving and angle cuts.

The Bauer 10″ all purpose blade worked perfectly with this saw. I am not a contractor and carpentry is not my hobby, but for jobs around the home and small projects, this saw is outstanding. My carpenter friend who uses Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee tools was so impressed, he is going to recommend this saw for their Good Works volunteer home repair jobs where they can transport this easily from site to site.

There was one glitch. The spring on the lever that raised and lowered the riving knife popped off and I could not get it to stay on. I was still able to lower and raise the riving knife so that did not hamper the operation of the saw.

I am still very pleased with it.

Outstanding. The fit and finish is overall superb. Low noise (relatively speaking), everything’s operates smoothly, and you can tell this thing’s gonna last. If you’re like me and you’re upgrading from a godawful $100 Ryobi you bought at a box store in a fit of misplaced optimism (how bad can it be, man?), you’ll be amazed at how much better life is using this thing.

Assembly is a bit fiddly, getting all the surfaces even and level with each other, but that’s half the fun of getting new shop equipment, right? The only thing I’d like to see change is with the extension table.

You have to get it in place and perfectly leveled, then mark two holes to drill and take it all out again. Then you have to mess with leveling it again after you’ve drilled the holes. This goes double if you get that router table, because once you get the extension table installed, you have to install the router table, get it leveled, then mark and drill 3 holes in the extension table, which means you have to pull the router table out again in order to drill those holes, and that thing is heavy and awkward.

Once it’s together though, it’s dead flat and absolutely planted. It’s not going to move on you at all. If you’re adding the router table to the right hand side of this 52″ version, there’s one thing to be aware of.

They will by default ship the 52″ extension table, when what you need is the 36″ extension table in order for it to fit between the router table and the right-hand saw wing. Sawstop should have this configured for you in the order-building section of their website since you choose which side to mount it on there, but they don’t.

Wasn’t a problem exchanging for the right part, but might as well make sure you get what you need straight off.

I wish that I could leave a review of 4. 8. This is a great saw! The number of things that can be adjusted for greater accuracy are what you expect of a saw in this price range. I love almost everything about it.

I was surprised, though, to be a little underwhelmed by a few things. The extension table is not impressive. The mechanism to secure the legs in position doesn’t really do the job adequately. Another thing that aggravates me is the way the controls box mounts to the saw.

There are a couple of cap screws that are difficult to install and really don’t seem to hold the controls solidly in place for very long. The miter gauge is really basic. Not sure what I was expecting, but this is not really much of an upgrade from the one that came with my old Craftsman contractor saw.

The fence is solid and seems to be pretty accurate all in all. However, when I picked up the saw the invoice I was presented had separate line items and charges for the fence, miter gauge, (and blade protection apparatus?).

I probably would have omitted those items from the order and spent a little more money on better ones, if that was an option. Maybe I missed something when I ordered. ? All that said, the saw itself is fantastic!.

I spent a year working extra jobs to save up to purchase this saw. This saw had all the features I wanted in a good safe reliable saw for my shop. The safety part, just being an added perk. This saw, notably is priced well above the competition and you would expect the customer service to be on par with the additional cost.

When I purchased the saw I never thought I would need the customer service. After a month and half delay, the saw delivered. The bill of laden, which was written in code, did not accurately show an additional box.

Long story short, there is a “Know Issue” with the front rail, rear rail, and main tube shipping in an additional box. I did not get the box, I didn’t even know I was missing the box unit I was about 3-4 hours into putting the saw together.

I immediately called saw stop, that is how I learned it was a known issue. The lady said she needed a copy of the bill of laden and they would start the process of tracking my mission box. Later it was learned, They will not do anything until the retailer you purchased the saw from calls and request them to look for it.

It has been three weeks, and as of yesterday, saw stop finally started looking for the missing box. IN the mean time, I had to purchase this again and it don’t look like saw stop is going to help me in any fashion, If you purchase this saw, make sure there is an additional box with the front rails, rear rails and main tube, the bill of laden written in code will not help you, they do not put this box with the main saw components on the pallet, and if it is not noted, or refused shipment due to missing parts, they will never help you, they will however let you buy another one, from the retailer.

I called saw stop wishing 5 hours of delivery, 2 weeks later, they still have not offered a reasonable solution,. ******Buyer Beware, the 36″ table saw, main tube, front and rear rails box is roughly 5′ long and about 6″X9″, make sure you get your box, or you will be like me spending more hard earned money for something you already paid for once.

I wish I had purchased the Laguna F3. saved some money and we know Laguna takes care of their customers after the sale. # stars, due to the lack of concern or help from saw stop, saw is awesome, I am sure of that, but what is the additional cost, if you can’t even get help after the sale?.
