For a one step polish I felt that VSS did a superb job. After polishing my white daily driver I had a noticeable new level of shine, VSS left the paintjob smooth and refined. I will say, however, that if you’re planning to spend the money to get a quality polish/glaze/seal/wax or ceramic coating done on your ride, I highly recommend investing in a quality buffer/polishing machine.

I decided to save some cash, the remaining scratches and imperfections left on my car ultimately came down to my lack of a muscular arm similar to that of Arnold Schwarzenegger. VSS does a great job, I just didn’t have enough gusto in my arm to really focus as much as I needed to achieve that mirror like shine.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for a simple polish to smooth out your ride, you can’t beat VSS. Just make sure you’re ready for an arm workout, or get yourself a quality polish machine!.

Great stuff, works great removing light scratches in your finish, as well as swirl marks. Easy to apply and remove. Leaves the finish with a great shine, and is pretty slick too.

After seeing reviews on YouTube I thought I would try. Amazing product. Even took a major scratch on in laws Cadillac and made it almost invisible with a polishing pad! Should last awhile but have used on 2 newer cars and best stuff I’ve tried and I have it all.

This purple polish and wax works remarkably well! It brings amazing depth and shine to dark colour paint. Im sure it works equally well for light colours as well. Worth the money!!!

Grew up in automotive, first body shop where I learned how to lay down al types of prime/paint/clear product. Then learned how to block & wet sand, de-nub thru to hi-gloss buffing with an in line buffer.

So I kinda know what I’m talking about. I’ve been using this line and specifically this product for 25 years. For fine to medium ‘daily’ scuffs from sno-brushes, car washes, jack-A$$es who rub up against your finish THIS is the best there is.

never failed me. For worse than medium scuffs you will need to start with something heavier [sorry not giving the entire class today]. But for what I already described you will start with a CLEAN compounding pad, inline buffer [this really does not work without one] clean polish rags and a spray bottle of water to moisten the pad.

My Makita buffer is set at ‘3’ speed work it in, buff off w/wet spritz, and go again if needed. My next step is the hi-speed machine glaze with fine polish pad, then hi tech yellow wax also buffed in.

Wipe/clean surface between EACH step. Done, a hi gloss ‘wet’ look thats scratch free.

Someone had apparently spilled a bucket of oil-based metal primer on the highway in front of me during a rainstorm but I didn’t notice it at the time. A few days later I noticed these faint “pinkish” blotches all over the metallic white pearl paint on my CTS-V, and upon close examination observed that they’d infused themselves into the surface of the clear coat.

Initially I thought I’d have to have a professional body shop remove the clear coat and refinish the entire car, but I recalled how well this glaze worked to polish out the clear coat on some body work I’d done some years ago on a treasured ’92 Oldsmobile I’d inherited from my father.

After verifying that my dual-action air-powered polisher was still in working order, I bought two foam-type disks that got good reviews and went to work. It took me over two days given the fact that I had to work over the entire car inch-by-inch and didn’t want to damage the clear coat, but when I was done the finish on the car was even nicer than when it had been delivered from the factory.

I’d recommend this glaze to anyone who needs to bring out the best of either paint or clear coat that simply needs the surface polished out.

I tried rubbing the scratches on my truck (metallic blue) and product did not remove them. It does remove dirt and grit nicely. Good for polishing. Had to take truck to professional car detailer to remove scratches.

Used to blend small areas of touched up paint on my Toyota Tacomoa. Just right grit and easy to use. After a little work you have to look very closely to find the touched up areas.

I did a lot of research about fixing the light scratches on my car trunk before purchasing this product. I have mixed reviews about it. It’s a 3-step process. 1) Sand down the scratches with the provided sander pad and water mist.

This was really labor intensive. I ended up attaching the sand pad to a drill to make this part go faster. Still, I probably spent over an hour doing this. You have to be slow, methodical, and careful about it.

You need to sand out the scratch, but not get into the paint layer. I was disappointed that the kit only came with one small sander pad. Definitely needed another, if not 3 of them. 2) Buff with compound.

My main complaint with this step was that the compound comes in a packet (like you’d get for salad dressing), so there’s no way to seal the unused portion. Also, it’s a bit messy when your using the drill buffer, even if you spread it before you start spinning the drill.

I had a lot of cleanup to do afterwards. Otherwise, it seemed to work fine. 3) Buff with polish layer. Exact same complaints here. No way to seal unused portion. Makes a bit of a mess. It did restore the shine, which I was a bit worried about after the step 1 sanding.

Overall, it mostly worked. The shallow scratches are gone. Shine is back. The deeper scratches are still visible, although less visible than before. Perhaps if I was braver, I would have sanded the larger scratches down more.

Or maybe if I had more than the single tiny sander that felt like it ran out of steam before I had attacked all of the trunk scratches. Not sure it was worth the money and effort though. Perhaps I was over ambitious looking for a magic bullet solution.

Amazing kit and very easy to use. I repair furniture and wood flooring. You would be amazed at how well one of these kits works to remove scratches from manufactured flooring and clear coat finishes on furniture.

Add a battery powered drill to the mix and the work becomes a breeze.

Driving on the freeway a truck in the lane right to me hit something, like a piece of tire or plastic or some sort of other car part debris. The truck’s rear wheels threw the piece up to the left and smacked it to the right side of my car.

Scratched the right rear fender (metal) for about 5 inches with black paint transfer (my car is white pearl). This thing took it out. Period. Followed the instructions, sanded it with the provided pad, then polished then buffed.

Looks like new. I became so excited that I went around the car checking for all kind of scratches just to fix them. Well worth it. You must have a drill or a drill driver and you must know how to handle it because it wiggles.

I used a RYOBI One+ P208 and it worked fine.

It’s fine. It works, but you’re better off purchasing each of the components separately. If you have just one little scratch and you’ll never need another one, I guess it makes sense to buy this kit.

But, it’s like buying a pre-packaged snack pack instead of a full bag of pretzels, full block of cheese, a pound of grapes, apportioning them yourself, and getting five or six for the same price one cost you.

It worked fine on very light scratches on my car – hairline scratches. Those scratches were gone. For deep scratches, it did not work, and it was not supposed to work. I cannot say how well it will work on medium scratches between light and deep, as I did not try it.

This is a good product that will shine plastics well, but it will not get rid of deep scratches, which is what should logically be expected. If you use this product with a high RPM buffer, your chances of removing deep scratches is improved, but bear in mind that in order to buff out a deep scratch, you must remove a depth of plastic equal to the depth of the scratch, which may cause irregularities in the surface.

Still, it will make a worn plastic item look more pleasing even if deep scratches remain. I used it on a turntable dust cover.

This product is basically like sandpaper for plastics. Each numbered bottle is like a different grit of sandpaper, number 3 is like coase sandpaper, start here for heavy scratches. Move to number 2 to for finer scratches, finish with number 1 to buff out the finest scratches.

My John Deere lawn tractor had scrapes and scratches along the hood. Ordered the polishing kit and did the 3,2,1 process. Wow! The results were amazing. Removed all scratches except a few deep ones and polished them down to be hardly noticeable.

Looks new. Money well spent. Great product.

So my neighbors dog jumped on my car and this is a big husky. When I got outhi noticed two big scratch marks. I also get hit often with grocery carts because people just seem not to care anymore. Got a few scratches from those too.

So when I clean my car I go all out. First prep it with tar and bug remover, let that sit a bit. The powerwash with turtle wax car wash. Then I get out the brush and scrub. This helps see all the scratches, imperfections etc.

I went around and used the renew and restore scratch remover and noticed a big difference with almost all of the scratches. I then went and waxed the car with my power waxer. Then I do the wheels and all the turtle wax products make my car look brand new.

I’m rarely impressed by Snake Oil car care products that virtually promise to invoke the power of magic to fix things. But this stuff has completely restored the marks left on my falcon the other day.

I felt for sure that it would need sanding , filler and paint to get rid of the scratches, they looked quite deep. The bottle says this stuff is equivalent to 1000 Grit sandpaper. It got rid of all the marks save for a tiny bit of bruising where the plastic of the bumper has been minutely compressed near the edge.

I’ve got a 2016 VW Golf and noticed I had a couple of big scratches down one side – these scratches had probably come from a hedge. I did the usual research and found this had good reviews. Yes perfect – works a treat.

I didn’t have to rub too much and it removed most of my scratches. I was so impressed I went over the whole car. The wax resin brings up a wonderful shine. However, like most reviews say ‘if you feel the scratch with your finger nail, then it’s too deep for this to work’.

For superficial scratches, I definitely recommend this!.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it on a black metallic and blue metallic colours. I was trying to remove light surface lines, probably caused by growth from roadside (hedge), which were really only noticeable when cars were newly washed.

The treatment was easy to use but I had to apply the restorer three or four times before I was happy with it. It did not work on deeper small damaged areas. It is good to have the polish with the pack, and also the applicator and duster.

Overall reasonably happy. Possibly expected more given the reviews I had read and the Which Best Buy recommendation.

It made the shallow scratches on our car door vanish from sight after the first use. Having finally got to use it I can attest to that! Great product at a very good price.

Does not work on anything beyond finger nail scratches. Works well in removing very light scratches and water marks. If you have any deep scratches then use Touch Up Paint that is specific and matches to your automobile color.

Look up online where to find your car color code as you car should have a label. Like most other brands this and their stuff only works on light scratches, rarely rubbing compound works. The only way to avoid scratches is never to drive your car.

Touch Free Car Washes do scratch your car. Also automatic car washes damage your Clear Coat Paint. Always best to Wash and Wax your car by hand. Find a place that services undercarriage cleaning and rust proofing.

Make sure to just floor mats and clean them regularly also rubber mats are better than material in snowy – rainy geographical areas. It helps having a thin clothe about the same size as the rubber mat placed under to absorb wetness and moisture.

Once a month put clothe in with laundry as you be surprised how better your car flooring will look. Resolve protectant spray helps car flooring as makes easier to keep clean and removing stains. Deep scratches use touch up paint that matches exactly to your car.

I was really impressed with this product. My dang toddler took a rock and walked around my car leaving lovely long scratches. I got the drill out and got to work. This completely took care of the superficial scratches and noticeably improved some of the deeper marks.

I had a few hairline scratches. Normally I would use a heavy compound followed by a polish then wax. Well thought this would make the process easier. Nope, it’s a polish and a 3 inch drill pad with a polish sponge.

The best it will do is clarify your paint. For $20 not worth it. I can get the big bottle of their polish and a 5 inch pad for $12. Every penny counts.

Bought a new black GMC truck in July. The dealership detailed it before I picked it up and it had swirl makes all over it. I didn’t have the time to take truck back to dealership that was 2 hours from my house.

I have a Black 2020 GMC PU, washed the vehicle at a car wash, applied the Reverse, followed up with Torque Detail. Not a swirl anywhere that I can find and the best shine I have ever had. Super easy to apply with fantastic results.

Used the water spot removal on the glass shower doors that are 23 years old, look like they are brand new now, another great product that I plan to use on parts of the windows when I do my spring window washing if it ever warms up in Michigan.

Great stuff. Took out a scratch I never thought possible, especially on black paint. Parked a brand new 2020 vehicle in a parking lot. When I came out there was a white scuff mark and scratch on the back door.

A car at work rubbed against my white car’s passenger’s door, big black marks everywhere. Worried about the cost to fix it at my local auto body shop. Visited Autozone for a possible solution. The salesclerk recommended 3M Rubbing Compound and showed me how to apply it.

Easy to apply! Went home and rubbed it for a several minutes. It worked!!! I was so happy and relieved that the product did its job!!! Erased all the black marks and left no stains, no residue, no smells.

This did a very good job restoring my headlights to near new condition. Nothing else was used other than this rubbing compound applied with a lint free cloth and a little elbow grease. If you want an even better result you may wish to use various sandpaper grits first (see videos on Youtube) and then use this rubbing compound.

It probably took 10 minutes per headlight to restore them.

This product is at times underated because folks do not know how to use it properly, or let alone bother to do some research on the product and how to apply it. This is a professional grade product,if not used correctly you could damage your paint.

When using this product tape half inch above and below the scratch area, this will minimize hazing and swirls. Use with fine coned drill polishing pad,apply a small dap on tip and work it into the scratch with minimal pressure.

Wipe off and keep reapplying until the scratch is gone. DO NOT LET THE COMPOUND DRY AS IT WILL BECOME MORE ABBRASIVE. If used properly you can get out most scratches with no problem. Then use a 3M Imperial Glaze to restore the shine or Mcguires ultimate polish.

I’ve never used this product before but I’m so glad I bought this bottle. Its very easy to apply (I used a buffing machine) and with its “creamy” texture it doesn’t run all over the place. Once I’d finished applying it to the paintwork it was virtually invisible but any residue that remained was super easy to remove using a good quality micro fibre cloth.

I was looking for a product that would remove the swirl marks in the car paint and yes I have found it, I have only given the car one application but I am very pleased with the results, the car is a dark blue and the swirls were very noticeable but not any more.

Is it good value well it is not cheap but it do work so to me it is good value.

Turtle Wax Scratch and Swirl works! Members of my family have used it on their cars and have had amazing results. Small scratches disappear like magic. Lately, I have found some other uses for this product and can’t wait to try some of them out.

Great product for removing faded patches and light scratches from cars paintwork. Gives paint an excellent shine so that it looks like brand new. Would definitely recommend, although would not recommend for deeper scratches.

I’ve used this on a 2001 Corolla with faded white paint. Any work on the car seemed to leave dark stains (eg blck fingerprints etc), but normal car wash detergent didn’t remove the stains, but Scratch & Swirl did.

Also car wash couldn’t remove stains on the roof and bonnet from parking under a tree for a week in summer, but was easy to remove with Scratch & Swirl using a power polisher. Actually even looked polished afterwards!.

my motorbike helmet visor has become scratched with age not serious but the low sun this time of the year accentuated the faint scratches. I applied the paste and rubbed it well. I did it again and the visor is now scratch free, and I saved 50 on a replacement visor.

Tried to use it on motorcycle helmet visor, surface seems smoother, but surface scratches still remain the same as they were before use of this solution. The aim was to remove surface scratches so it not worked for what it was designed for, at least in this case.

I did follow manufacturers instructions of use from the packaging of the product.

Bought this product specifically for my motorbike visor. It didn’t work well for me! I’m gonna try it on my headlights on my car. But as for what I really wanted it for. It’s a no from me!
