The size 34 in this newer style is not even close to the same fit as the size 34 in the same cut, older model= new is a lot smaller. The return policy is not accommodating to the buyer who discovers this – no free shipping for exchange for a different size.

Also, why would you ever label size 32 as medium, size 34 are large, size 36 as X large? Come on TYR – Stop the misogynist attitude in your products and policies for female athletes who need swimsuits that fit.

Women’s swimsuits are going to be harder than men’s to get a fit – you need to get a more woman friendly return policy. Shame on you! Stop building in financial penalties that fall more on women!.

Well made, fits well swimsuit for this 64 year old swimmer. Strong straps keep the suit on during lap swimming, Good coverage in all the right places, and the suit does not ride up or produce wedgies.

Only complaint is the cups, which are not sewn in place. After a machine wash, the cups fold over, and I have to manipulate them back into place. It is a frustrating process, and I invariably end up with visible creases in the cups.

I love the suit, however, so much that I bought it in two colors. Too early to determine durability. I am concerned that all this cup manipulation will result in a fabric tear though. Only time will tell.

I am a regular swimmer — 3 days a week. I’ve had many TYR suits over the years and have preferred them to Speedo and other brands. Each one lasted for up to 3 years. 2 months ago I ordered 2 suits — square neck fitted.

Within 2 uses the bra inserts on both suits moved around and are mushed up — looking really weird. It would be impossible to fix this without cutting the thread around the inserts and removing the pads.

Very disappointed — don’t want these removed. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? Otherwise the suits fit well.

This is the second time I bought this suit just 6 months ago. However disappointed due to fading, discoloration, markings all due to non existence of any chlorine resistant at all! Within a couple of weeks it was faded.

But I love the design, the fit, the style, and thick lining both front and back, so purchased another to wear ONLY at the ocean. Please note, I rinse out my suit immediately when I leave the pool, while I shower.

At home I then hand wash and air dry. Some of suits are color fast and hold up great, others fail almost immediately. Lands End should provide better products, if chlorine resistant…ensure it is, or don’t market it as such.

I bought this on sale during the Covid pandemic, but wore it for the first time only recently (I swim laps daily, so I wait for mega sales on Land’s End Tugless, Chlorine-resistant swimsuits, as this is my go-to suit for that purpose).

What a disappointment! I tossed it after my initial 45-minute lap swim as the middle piece had faded so badly, it no longer matched the other suit colors (which had also faded). Regrettably, given the time span from initial purchase until first use, I figured it was too long to send back the other red, white ‘n’ blue striped suits which I had purchased.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten, indeed.

I purchased 2 these bathing suits, as they have always been a reliable staple from lands end. Apparently not so reliable anymore. The baltic teal does NOT have a lining and the turquoise floral does.

Guess Lands End picks and chooses now depending on the shade of fabric, rather than making a consistent product that buyers have come to rely on. Having a lining smooths out the lumps and bumps and creates a totally different feel.

These are not the same and should not be marketed as such. Cheapening your product – Not OK, when the price does not reflect this, nor does the written information.

I have bought LE swimsuits for years and still have several that are like new now. However, I recently lost weight and need a size smaller. The fit this year is very different in the three items I purchased.

The chest is uncomfortably tight and the rear end is too loose and also rides up and doesn’t cover properly. I’ve never had this problem before as I’m bigger on the bottom than in the chest. My previous size 10Long suits were perfect, fit my somewhat long-waisted body and didn’t ride up but are now too big.

I bought an 8Long and can’t even get them over my chest even though L E’s size chart recommends a size 6 for me. Very disappointed, and I hate paying for returns when the seller’s misinformation is the cause.

LOVE this swimsuit! Adjustable straps in back, wide enough to be comfortable in front. Rouching for slimming, no metal wires to make you uncomfortable, and the neckline is just the right height to not be showing the world everything you got but also not be wearing a turtleneck (basically everything I look for in a swimsuit!) I have a long torso so I basically only buy Lands end long swimsuits, as regular suits never fit.

Lands’ End, PLEASE keep making this suit and make more colors of this available in long! At the time of writing this there are lots in regular length but there is only one color in long and it’s on clearance so hardly any sizes are available.

I bought one 1-2 sizes bigger than I need which I now wear all the time and one 1-2 sizes smaller (just in case. ) because that’s all there was.

I bought this in black and i absolutely love it! It has simple lines and the shirring on the sides is so flattering. It also has strong tummy control but is still comfortable. I ended up buying it in another print because i like it so much.

I have not worn a bathing suit in years but i will wear this with confidence on my upcoming cruise! It fits true to size as well. Excellent quality.

Wow. This has like zero support. Any ladies over a b cup won’t fit. It’s comical how unsupported you are in this suit.

Love this tankini top! It doesn’t have an underwire, but the halter straps are nice and snug. It does have a pretty deep v, but I am a dd bra size and everything stays in place nicely.

This suit fit well and true to size. I am 5’5″, 25x28x38 (32D), with a shorter torso and petite shoulders, and typically wear a size 6 in swimsuits. The size 6 fit and was appropriately snug as a new suit.

They get looser in the water and tend to stretch out so I like them snug when brand new. I usually buy Trina Turk and La Blanca in cuts that are a bit more revealing (lower cut or more back exposed).

I bought this because I thought it would be good for mumming or when I need a durable swimsuit when I’m active (paddle boarding, swimming in the ocean). I have the hooded zip up swim shirt in the same color.

I was bummed they didn’t quite match. The swim top was a bit more orange and the suit was more pink. The color of this suit is a subdued and wasn’t as flattering as brighter options I tried on. The rouching is flattering and held me in but the back seemed plain.

The leg openings are lower and made my legs look shorter. The back comes up high and actually made my back look bigger than styles that k have that show more of my back. My 8 year old told me this looked bad in me, especially the back.

He was complimentary of other suits I tried on. I decided at age 41, I want comfortable and practical but just a bit sexier than this style. It is a fantastic style, good quality, and fits wonderfully so I can see the appeal of this suit.

I just didn’t feel great when I put it on so it will go back.

Ordered my usual size. Received it just in time to pack it for a month long Regent cruise. First day on the ship I slipped it on and it fits nothing like the 10+ other Tommy bahama suits I own. Luckily I’d packed those! Too big, stitching makes awkward shaping, see through.

All around major disappointment. I’m not the only one, see the other reviews! I threw away the shipping packaging removed the tags and packed it in my suitcase, Tommy bahama suits have been so reliable and perfectly manufactured and sized for as long as I’ve purchased them so I didn’t think it would be any different this time!.

I have purchased many tankinis from TB in the past and liked them just fine. This latest addition is BY FAR the best. It has the support I’ve needed with the addition of the underwire. Typically i don’t buy underwired items because they hurt by the end of the day.

This was comfortable all day AND I got the support i needed. My husband even thought it made me look more youthful!.

I did see it runs a size large and I’m a 12/14 so the US12 was perfection! It covers my ample rear. You can zip up to be more modest or zip down for added sexiness. The cap sleeves aren’t tight or dig into my arms.

I also do water aerobics in it and I don’t have to worry about being on wedge patrol. Lol. I have gotten so many compliments. I will say the boob cups when I look down look weird to me like how they point but looking straight at me or in the mirror, they look normal.

I asked a few friends in case but it could just be me. Anywho, I love this so much in black, I just bought one in the midnight sky navy color. Just buy it !.

Use for water aerobics. Outside krinkle material is wonderful. Long Lasting. Lining and bra are not. Lining stretches and looses shape, so bra does not maintain proper fit. I continue to buy this brand because the material of other chlorine resistant swimsuits are far less durable, and only have one layer.

With use about three hours a week, and proper care, suit lasts about a year.

I’ve used this brand of plus sized bathing suit for years. I’m 340 lbs, take the size 26, it fits well. I’m in the pool 5 days, 52 weeks a year. I have 4 suits, don’t rinse them out (probably should) they tend to last 4+ yrs each, usually the lining gives first.

Color holds, even the vibrant ones. Always get compliments on them. I get the cross front and feel more secure with it due to a large chest. After many years of usage in very highly chlorinated pools, I have given these the ultimate stress test and they keep passing with flying (fun) colors!!.

Nice suit, unfortunately I am smaller on top and larger on the bottom. Buying a larger side created the need for me to sew the shoulder straps a little tighter. Adjustable straps would’ve solved that problem.

So far so good at the chlorine resistant.

Needed a wardrobe-malfunction-proof but cute/not matronly one-piece for my mom-bod this summer. This suit is adorable! However – in the dressing room, I about dislocated all of my joints trying to get it on and off in my regular size.

I’m usually a 10 in swim, the 12 was insanely tight and I purchased the 14. After one wear, I regretted sizing so far up. The fabric definitely relaxed a bit and the leg holes have very slight ripples.

If I was wrestled into my normal size or even the 12 I might fill it out a little better. It’s definitely not as supportive as it was. I *might* experiment with throwing it in the dryer while it’s damp but I hate to do that with swimwear.

The other reason I knocked one star off all my Calia swim pieces (I purchased 4 pieces to mix/match because we’re at the pool EVERY day) – is that the fabric takes forever to dry. This piece especially because it’s so supportive and thick.

Like, hang up overnight and still damp in the morning, forever. So it’s great for the neighborhood pool when I can mix it up with other pieces and keep it hanging in between wears, but I won’t be able to take it on our upcoming camp/hot springs trip because it would probably be wet on the way home.

very supportive, especially for larger breasted women I am a 40D. it is very tight so be aware of that but that is what I think gives it good support. the only negative is the side seams are a bit itchy, not enough to matter though imo.

I like that the bottom of this top doesn’t come up like some cheaper ones I have bought. it stays in place.

I did not expect an uncomfortable girdle swim suit! I am returning it. I have regular suits in a full size smaller that still fit and are more flattering and comfortable than this brand.

I’m between a 10-12. Curvy/32H. Ordered a 12 and it’s perfect. Many years ago I bought the first version of this swimsuit by BLEU (2016 or 17?) completely wore it out and had to throw it away this past summer.

Purchased again after seeing it on the mom edit … looks amazing on and is the perfect blend of sexy. I will wear as a swimsuit and body suit – The bamboo/wood with black gives Gucci vibes.

I’m 5’5 and 150 lbs, 36c/31/36, I wear my weight around my waist. size 10 is perfect, no loose fabric anywhere. Got it for a nice price and my first time wearing this brand. Hopefully it lasts long (Becca’s, La Blanca etc).

Less than 1 star for smooshing my chest a little but the bamboo accents are really pretty (definitely hand wash to preserve), and the blue is nice and muted.

This is a fantastic suit. Fits perfectly. I usually wear 1 pieces but with the COVID 20lbs I opted for a 1 piece. You totally feel sexy in this suit. Adjustable straps are great…. The size is exact as well.

Was disappointed in the quality vs price. The back seems cheep Lycra & is a bit baggy around the bum. The front is nice, but definitely overpriced. Had I seen this in a store for the price, I’d have left it.

I’ve purchased this swimsuit about 8 times in all different colors, this is the second time I’ve bought it in black. This is the perfect swimsuit. It’s flattering but covers you up and sucks everything in.

The ruching is forgiving and gives a nice waist line. I wear this suit all the time but it is the ONLY suit I will wear at work events that involve swimwear. I wear it with a kimono, hat and lots of jewelry.

I don’t really want to be in a swimsuit around my co-workers but I don’t want to be a fuddy-duddy either. This is the perfect solution. Even if you have 10 other swimsuits in your closet, you should buy this one.

As with all swimwear, size up one size in this suit. I am a 4-6/S at J. Crew with size 28 jeans. I am 5’8″ tall. I wear an 8 in this whether I’m at my high or low weight (between 135 and 145).

As a plus size woman who hates strap tan lines, the only bathing suit I ever buy is the bandeau style. I searched all over the webs last year and finally discovered J Crew carries my size. This suit is made with quality material and comes in beautiful colors.

I have the iris, army green and bronze. It has some support for my mid-section and my DDs. It hits at the perfect height on the hip. It covers up the cleavage but is still sexy. The only thing that might make it better is if they made it as a two piece tankini so it’s easier to make trips to the restroom.

This is a quality suit that I anticipate lasting for many years, but I will likely add a color or two each summer. Thanks J Crew!.

All the other reviews are true. This suit is perfection. It’s a very well constructed suit that is comfortable and feels and looks amazing. The ruching isn’t too much fabric and it just feels amazing on.

I wish I had my 20 year old body but don’t but I still want to feel confident in a bathing suit and this one does just that. I’m actually back to look at another color. Suit is true to size. If you’re active and worried about straps falling maybe consider a size down.

I can definitely see myself wearing this while surfing this summer. Well done J. Crew.

An excellent fitting and flattering swimsuit for my figure, especially as I could choose the cup size for my bust. A lovely shade of blue. and worth the extra price for the quality and especially the slimming effect that I needed.

Would certainly recommend it for any age, for the wow factor, and with the added decorative sequins for effect. Would buy it again in a different colour if a available. !!.

A very flattering style that fits all in the right places. Worth every penny for the perfect fit and the feeling of being covered in the right places and that gives me confidence (as an old age pensioner!!) This is my second Lascana swimsuit I have purchased and they are very hardwearing and keep their shape after many wears.

I particularly like the fact that it comes in all different bust sizes.

I’m pleased with my purchase. The style is very similar to the swimsuits I’ve been buying for 15 years or so which are no longer in production. This one was almost half the price of those and obviously isn’t quite such a robust fabric but I wore it for an Aquafit session today and it performed quite well.

It’s not as supportive of the bust as I’d like but I’m going to buy more of them, so I’m pretty satisfied. How about some prettier colours too? Turquoise perhaps?.

I swim laps and do not care about bows, side ties, adjustable straps, halter tops or anything other than a simple tank. This suit is the BEST fit and I mean the best. My only complaint is that it is only available in color: Black which I own.

I do not care for the bright modern prints and especially the florals. I would love to see more subdued colors that go well with skin color such as browns, rust shades or earth colors with a single print of say a gingko leaf which I saw somewhere.

I also don’t like the water splash or prints in the bright bubble gum colors. I just purchased an olive green plain tank suit from another vendor and it’s great but not as perfect as this LL Bean suit.

I’m just doing laps, not going to a pool party. Please add more colors for my size. Or maybe my size will go down a couple of sizes and I can buy a new suit. Great idea.

I have ordered this suit several times in the past few years. I’m a swimmer and it works well for me. BUT, I just tried on my latest purchase. I received it approximately 2/6/22. The elastic in the legs (back side) is very loose.

That makes it impossible to wear. I’m very disappointed that the quality has deteriorated. Now I have to return this suit and look elsewhere for a swim suit that will work for me.

I have been purchasing these bean sport suits for several years. I swim laps 3 times per week. The suit fits great and the straps stay up. My only complaint is that I need to replace the suit every 3 to 4 months.

They don’t hold up well in the chlorine. Not only do they fade, but also stretch out. I am very careful to not have them be in hot water nor in a washing machine. I let them soak in cold water with a bit of detergent overnight after wearing.

I then wrap it in a towel and roll the towel so as not to stretch it. Then it lays flat to dry out of sunlight or any heat. I keep purchasing because of the fit and the ease of ordering the same suit at the same size.

No going to stores to try on suits. Overall a great suit.

Love this top! I purchased the bottoms too. Needed a 10 ( true to size) bottom and a 14 top. I am a 36DDD. The 14 top fit great, holds the “girls” steady! The color is a true Valentine Red. At first I was my sure about what felt a little like a seersucker outer fabric but what I found I love is that it dries much more quickly than ALL my other swimsuits after coming out of the water.

I love that as sitting in a wet swimsuit is not always comfortable. I will buy more colors as it’s so hard to find great swimsuits given my bra size and high expectations. Love this suit!.

I read other reviews that this brand runs small. But wow, it REALLY runs small. I usually take a 2 in bottoms and wound up with an 8 (after trying a 4 and a 6). Luckily, once you find the right size, these are great bikini bottoms.

They are comfortable and don’t ride up. I paired this with a matching tankini and feel like both are flattering to my figure.

The pattern and shape is great! For reference I am 4’11” 95lbs athletic. Ordered xxs. Due to my pear shape the suit shows a bit more of my rear than I would like and the cups in the top are not supportive.

They tend to move around when wearing and fold up when taking the suit on and off so I have to rearrange often. Honestly it’s the best fitting one piece I have ever tried to wear. Most suits are just too long/big.

I usually stick to a 2 piece since I am more xs/s in the bottom and xxs on top. I bought this suit for more coverage while snorkeling and it worked well.

Love the fit. Very flattering. I have a small chest so the top stays in place. I took away one star because it had multiple snags on the front after one wear to the beach with light use. No idea what could’ve snagged it.

Will have to be extra careful with this one, but super secure and flattering.

So comfy! I was nervous about the fit because I’m smaller on top but bigger on the bottom and it fits like a dream. Absolutely love it and my partner loves the way I look in it. It’s so comfortable and doesn’t dig in at all.
