20 Best Swimsuits For Mom Pooch (2023 Updated)

With 30% spandex, there’s no doubt Miraclesuits are the best for that extra control fit. I purchased my first three suits some 5-10 years ago and they’re still fabulous! I purchased two more in late 2019 or early 2020 and it was difficult.

The problem I had with my last two purchases and that I’m having now, is the range of solid colors in a one piece suit to select from. They are absolutely BORING! I’m longing for the vibrant youthful colors that were once available.

The neon greens, pinks and oranges in v-necks and halter tops, atop black bottoms. No other manufacturer mixed control quality with these colors and style better! They were so beautiful, so sophisticated and so sexy.

From my perspective, these suits today do not have the same piazzas! I’m a youthful, active 70 year old wanting a suit that supports my mind as well as my tummy and hips… especially at these prices! It’s for this reason I’m giving 4 stars only.

I absolutely LOVE this suit! I have large breasts (36DDD) so finding a suit that fits me well is always a struggle. I don’t have a flat tummy whatsoever so that is also a struggle for me, to find a suit that I feel comfortable and sexy in while it still be flattering.

I happened to find this style at Macy’s in purple a year ago and when I tried it on, I knew I had to have it. When I saw that the suit was available in black, I couldn’t pass the opportunity to get it.

While this suit is much more expensive than I would normally pay, it’s 100% worth it, not only for the fit, but because it’s a quality suit. I have washed my first suit on the delicate/handwash cycle several times and it’s still as good as new! (Never put it in the dryer, air dry only) I know I will have this for years to come.

I would recommend purchasing a size up. I’m an 8 in pants but got this suit in a 10 and it fits perfect. It holds me in, smooths any bumps or lumps, and gives me that hourglass shape. Again, I do have large breasts so there is a lot of cleavage, but I don’t mind that at all.

It’s sexy and classy at the same time. You cannot go wrong with this suit! I had my mom buy a suit from this website in a different style (a size up) and she loves it. She was so happy that I suggested this brand.

To anyone out there on the fence, just buy it! Give it a try. If you don’t like it, you can return it. But most likely, you will fall in love!.

180 lbs, 38D, 5’10”. Size 14 fits perfectly. The reddish brown, purple shirez color is quite interesting, much better than ordinary straight black for my skin tone. I hope Miracle suit makes even more non black suits! The crisscross material in the front is extremely flattering for my not so flat tummy.

The suit’s top emphasizes your bust without showing an uncomfortable amount of cleavage. The neckline shape takes attention away from the rest of your body while holding and uplifting. I do wish the rear end was lined.

It would make the suit even more appropriate for actually swimming and getting in and out of the pool. A lined back would make a fabulous suit even better! The suit looks wonderful on even though I am close to 70.

I love this suit so I bought it again, second one. Problem is, the first one (which was identical other than the pattern) was 3 years old and the black fabric on the back of the suit separated at the seam.

It was weird how the black in the fabric totally pulled apart but the spandex part, kind of transparent, stayed in tact which held the seam together but was see-through. Weird huh? Don’t know if it fit too tight and pulled apart or it broke down because of using it primarily in hot tubs and pools.

Anyway, I do love the suit, it’s very flattering and covers nicely so I bought it again. If this one doesn’t last I’ll have to complain and try to get my money back. I ordered a size larger to see if that was the problem.

I’m a chunky mama. I haven’t worn a swimsuit in years. My daughter and I are heading off on a beach vacation this summer and she asked if I’d please put on a swimsuit this time. Poor child has a mother who hates wearing swimsuits so I pretty much never do.

Until I found this one. I tried it on when it came not expecting much. It lives up to “miracle”. It tucks and hides all the right places. The pattern is very flattering. I actually feel confident enough to go swimming with my daughter…at long last! This fantastic “miracle” and a cute cover up and I might actually enjoy this beach vacation!.

I actually loved the style and colors of this suit. I have this style suit in another color/pattern so I ordered my usual size. Because this particular suit does not have adjustable straps (as others in this style do) the straps were just a little too long and therefore didn’t fit as well.

So therefore 4 stars. But I have been a Miraclesuit gal for many years. They are worth the price point. And I was able to find 2 different patterns in the Oceanus style. Thank you Miraclesuit!.

You’ll read this exact review for another Miracle suit. I feel the same about both of them. There are many other suits that smooth, and slenderize, with ruching, with a good cut, or with the style. I ordered this, as well as another slightly different one from Miracle Suit.

I know I’ll never order again. These suits are ridiculously uncomfortable and expensive. The stays cut and bind into your flesh, and I just couldn’t even breathe – ordering a size bigger than normal! Both suits even made me look bigger, not smaller! After ordering & deciding I didn’t like them, I still kept them until I found something similar.

I found a fabulous suit that looks identical for under $25 ~ $100 less than the Miracle suit! That suit was far more slenderizing than this Miracle suit.

I love this suit! I do have a complaint about the durability. I bought 2 suits like this (same suit, different print) several months ago. I wore them at least twice a week to my water aerobics class.

I washed them out carefully immediately after being in the pool 2-3 hours a week. Both suits have faded terribly and the basic elastic has become very thin. One suit had to be thrown away. The other can be worn, but looks bad.

I was happy to find that this was still available. The original ones were bought at Dillard’s. I will keep my new one for use at the beach or occasionally at a private pool. I have now bought plain chlorine resistant suits for classes, hoping that they last longer than these Longitude suits did.

They are too expensive to only last a few months. Your company should add a chlorine resistant component to the design.

I wanted to love the suit. I’ve been buying the same size suit for years. Sadly, this suit is short in the body. The back was lower than my other suits. Overall it is a not a long torso. The straps dug into my shoulders.

I was told it was probably made in an alternate factory. I am concerned about quality control and supply. It seems as though the remaining choices from the company are not Longitude but Miracle Suit which makes a suit with more compression and not as favorable for exercise.

Please Longitude keep your faithful customers satisfied for the pleasure of your customer and to ensure future business and job security for your employees.

I really appreciated the email support – the warning about the extra charges because of coming to Canada, the willingness to add the discount I’d forgotten to add, and the well wishes that the two might come out about equal! There was a real human behind those emails! AND – I do love the suit, too.

I appreciate the extra long torso, the vivid colours, the soft cups, and the detail in the back. PLUS it’s wonderful to get a one-piece suit when everything seems Tankini! A great suit. A great customer experience.

I only wish I lived in the US for free shipping and no extra border costs.

I spoke with a fitting/styling specialist before ordering to determine which size I should order. I was told to go with the smaller of the two sizes I was in between. I received my items and the color/material of the swimsuit is beautiful but I’m not happy with the sizing.

It is way too tight on my waist. The band digs into my stomach and feels very uncomfortable. I may need to size up on my next purchase but I’m worried that it will be too loose in other areas like the thigh and butt area.

I do like the material a lot and does a good job of “holding it in” – maybe a little too much almost like a corset!.

This is my 3rd pair of ruched swim bottoms from Albion. I knew I had to grab these in the sea salt color when I saw it! It’s the perfect vintage blue. I also grabbed the Eloise crop in golden hour. The fit on these is perfect for me, as the ruching helps conceal any imperfections in the lower tummy area.

I am 140 lbs most of the time and purchase medium in this style. This style covers the majority of your bum area, so it’s very modest. Also, it’s very comfortable!.

Ordered my usual size M and they fit perfectly. I have 5 kids, and these bottoms are hands down the greatest swim bottoms ever. They are so flattering in every way, they cover your bum and the ruching is so feminine and cute.

These are so dang comfortable and they make my tummy look and feel so good, which I am amazed at because these aren’t a “tummy control” bottom. They elongate my 5’10” frame and I will not wear anything else by the pool or at the beach anymore.

Best ever. I own these in 5 colors/designs now.

Hopefully this review will be helpful to others! I bought one of these in November last year, and I’ve swum lengths in it 3x a week ever since. It’s just as well fitting as when I first got it; I don’t see or feel any changes in the fabric OR mesh – I’m very impressed by the durability.

5′-9″, 36D/38C, modest hourglass figure with softer/rounder features in face/shoulders; I bought a size 12 (my usual pant size), and it fits very well – it is a snug, tight fit, but that’s how I like my swim suits to be, since I hate feeling like they may slip off if I swim strongly or turbulent waters snag at it (I’ve had suit suits come off in such situations before.

not fun). I’m overweight at 190lbs, and I tend to gain fat around my waist and thighs. The swimsuit does a good job of shaping/smoothing the extra bulge at my waist so it’s barely visible and I regain the hourglass shape, so I’m very happy about that.

I’m not used to not having underwire or cups to support my breasts, but the swimsuit is very comfortable even though my boobs get flattened (the skin just under my breasts is really sensitive, so normally it’s REALLY annoying if my boobs hang free and the skin overlaps even a little.

“Jena” I was on a mission to find a suit that would hold me in a bit, without doing a skirt, tankini or sacrificing style. I came across the Miraclesuit website and found 3 suits I wanted to give a try.

I tried all 3 on and just loved the Jena. While it’s designed to hold you in, they did not sacrifice style. I love the diagonal mesh panels, and the one shoulder and how it makes my tummy nice and flat.

The mesh does not cause your lose skin to bunch up or bulge out, which was a concern of mine. I truly get compliments every time I wear this suit. I typically wear an XS/2 (120 & 5’5”; 32 DDD) however, ordered a size 6, as this was the smallest size.

Given the structure and the quality of the fabric, I can see how this suit would work for a size below and size up, as it seems forgiving. Anyway, this suit is beautiful and makes you feel secure wearing it.

This is a bathing suit that lives up to the hype! I ordered the nova green and it is a beautiful mallard green color. I am thrilled that I have finally found a bathing suit that has a fitted bra and that does not make me look frumpy.

The bra holds the bust up well and looks classy. The sheer panels add glamour to this bathing suit and yet they are still able to give your body a beautiful hour glass figure. The bathing suits do run small.

I am 5 foot 4, 110 pounds, 32DD and I ordered a size 8. It is snug (I think it is supposed to be) but I would not size up. If there is anything I would wish they would do different on this bathing suit it would be to make it a bit of a higher cut on the thighs just to give the legs a bit of height, but otherwise I cannot complain at all.

Best bottoms ever! I bought a pair earlier this summer and loved them. So when the sale hit, I added three more pairs to my collection! They fit great, stay in place, and don’t roll, gap, or ride-up like others.

I was a little nervous buying white, but they are fully lined with a nice weight to the fabric. I was amazed with the quick delivery. I did the cheapest shipping option and had my suits in 4 days! Great service.

I bought the boy shorts swim bottoms in size “ M”. & found they got bigger in the water & shorts didn’t stay down my leg. So I decided to go W/ the high waist bottoms in a size “S”. They fit just right.

I teach Aqua-Aerobics Monday thru Thursday. So I’m constantly in a pool. Love your styles & very professional looking !.

I have these bottoms I’m very color. I don’t love the white. They are a typical white bottom…which is what I was afraid of. They just show too much. However, the style is wonderful. Please make more colors!.

Really pleased with this purchase. The coral band helps draw your eye away from the growing belly. The U shape back ensures ease if getting in and out of the costume – a shape I’ve never used before.

Straps stay firmly up when swimming and doing turns. Super impressed with this and there is plenty of room for it to grow with me over the next few months.

Not sure why recommended to size up. I’m usually a 10/12 so I bought a 12. It was huge and I’m 28weeks! Will be retuning.

I tried this one and the fit is OK but the shape of the straps/back is not great for swimming training as the straps keep turning in and can imagine when swimming it will be very uncomfortable.

This suit is a great price for a Miracle suit. All of the ruching hides the areas that we all like this type of suit for. You definitely have to size up one size as the description and video on QVC shows how form fitting the suit is.

It is very flattering and comfortable. I ordered several suits from various places online because I did not want to go into a store and try on suits that others had also tried on during this pandemic.

A bathing suit is almost like underwear when you think about it and that’s a very personal type of item to try on. I decided to keep the dot print and the animal print and love both of them equally. The way these suits are made and constructed I don’t believe I’ll have to buy another bathing suit for many many years to come.

I highly recommend this suit and if there are any left at this point I’d say grab it.

I usually wear a 14 in swimwear, but sized up to 16 based on the reviews. Suit fits the torso pretty tight like shapewear, but the rear end is a tiny bit too big on me at the bottom. The chest is more than a little too big on me and makes my bust look bigger, but is not noticeable if you don’t know me.

I decided to keep it because of the good quality and the price. Glad I did not order the 14, but wish I could have gotten the catnip print, which was out of stock in my size when I ordered. Disappointed that catnip is now back in stock in my size.

The tiki bar print is cute, though.

I am glad I took a chance on this suit! I’m not one to buy a bathing suit online, but really am not ready to go to stores. I am 5’2” and about 116 lb and usually would be a 6 in a swimsuit. I ordered the 8 and it is a perfect fit! It feels snug, like all miracle suits do and it really flatters the waistline! Since I am a senior, I really like the full coverage.

It is not old ladyish, but covers well. I got the animal print and am thinking of going back for another color or style in this brand. The straps are adjustable which is a plus for comfort.

I typically lean towards low rise bottoms, but the High Rise Maternity & Postpartum Bikini Bottoms really surprised me. I absolutely love them. The waistband has just the right elastic to get around a baby bump without causing discomfort and being too tight.

These are probably the most comfortable bikini bottoms I have. The bottoms are fully lined and provide comfortable coverage without being shorts or cheeky bottoms. These are simple black bottoms, but will pair well with other Kindred Bravely bikini or tankini tops.

I would definitely recommend!.

I am postpartum, second pregnancy in three years. I have not ‘snapped’ back as they say. I am struggling big time but knew I needed a suit to play with my two-year-old in the water this summer. I used to be a size 6-8, but now I’m about a 10-12, which usually puts me in-between on the size charts.

I went with the large and it works well. The cut on the leg isn’t perfect, but I think I’m the only one who notices. Kindred Bravely is the only company that really makes clothing for a postpartum woman.

This suit will give me the confidence to play with my toddler and infant this summer.

I have been searching for a maternity suit that I feel comfortable in and this one takes the cake! I am currently 20 weeks pregnant – ordered a small bottom and a medium top – both fit GREAT! Excellent coverage and very flattering.

I appreciate that the bottoms don’t have the awkward ruching that most maternity clothes have. 10/10 would recommend.
