20 Best Swimsuit For Teenage Girl (2023 Updated)

Got this swim suit a size larger and it appears to be a size smaller. Which is a shame because it’s a beautiful print with nice bright colors. On top of that. The same week I ordered I found it was cheaper elsewhere.

Not the first time this has happened.

My daughter is small. She is 6 and only weighs 35 pounds. She is just now getting out of 5T clothing. We bought her a size 6 and it is way too small. Very disappointing. Then I discovered the item was not returnable, not even for store credit.

I’ve bought it not very long ago and my daughter haven’t tried in the pool yet, but so far I can say it goes a little smaller for the size listed and my daughter didn’t like how high the upper front part goes, she says it’s almost choking her.

Other than that, I really like the colors, it’s very bright and vibrant. The quality seems good too.

Quality product. Can be used as swimwear or any other outdoor activity. Length is just right as well. Not too long, not too short.

A friend & I bought matching suits for our girls to wear on vacation. This suit rubbed ALL THREE girls under their arms (thicker strap side) and in their leg crease to the point of pain in one wearing.

We ended up having to use liquid bandage to make other suits comfortable. We thought it was just the salt water. Tried it after vacation at the pool. Same result. Bummed I bought a bigger size for next year too.

All three girls have very different body types too. Ages 8, 6, and 4.

My whole family wears Lands End bathing suits! I’ve been buying them for my kids for 16 years. This is the worst quality bathing suit I’ve purchased. The front of the bathing suit is all pilled and fading.

Sometimes this will happen on the seat of a suit after frequent wearing, so this feels even more bizarre. I machine wash and air dry the bathing suit. My daughter prefers her two piece suit, so this one is her back-up.

We’ve owned it for about 1 month and used it about 5 times. The plus is that the style and print are adorable!! Stay away from this suit.

I got the blue one for my 13yr old (bought sz14). This has good coverage and looks great. Not high leg opening, good wide straps instead of cami/spaghetti straps, overall great coverage and fit. It is so hard to find a modest one piece swimsuit for young teen girls.

We don’t want sleeves but we want it to cover the upper body well. We don’t want the bottom to be “cheeky” either. This swimsuit is perfect and good quality. My daughter loves it and I’m happy.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the suit, and it’s totally adorable. I would’ve loved to be able to try it on in the store, but it worked out well enough. I wore it a ton all summer. I’m 5’6” and about 128 lbs.

I went for a medium because I have a long torso. It was a little wide and I feel like it could’ve been tighter around the bust. A small probably would’ve been the right fit for me, but I really, really didn’t want it to be too short.

Medium fit just fine, and with the cross back straps it felt very secure on. The hips were very high cut, which I was not expecting. It is pretty “cheeky”. I sometimes felt a little exposed chasing my kid around the pool, but the cut is very flattering and a bit sexy.

I wasn’t sure about this bathing suit because of the strips and I was afraid it would be a little too beetlejuice – but it is super cute.

Dare I say sexy? Yeah I do. After having a baby this past year I didn’t feel so hot, but this bathing suit gave me a confidence boost. It’s slimming with the fabric and has a great cut. It is very comfortable.

The material is really soft and nice. The little extra v cut gives it a cute/sexy vibe for a one piece. I’m 5’0 and I could see how the length could feel small. I think thus brand runs a little small but still true to size.

This style would transition quickly to put shorts or pants over too. I ordered a small but would be curios to see what a medium compares. The bust area fit fine for a 36C in a small. Description style says cheeky and it’s a little cheeky.

I ordered this swimsuit in sizes 12 and 7 for my two daughters. The size 12 looks like it will fit the daughter who was supposed to wear the size 7 and the size 7 is analogously small and seemingly would fit a much younger/smaller kid.

Very disappointed in the sizing since the bathing suit design is so cute!.

Bought this from my granddaughter and it is gorgeous, vibrant and unique. It also covers well. The strings will be something to manage but for pool parties this summer I think it is a great choice.

I bought this as a gift for my 11 year old niece … my sister called and said she got out of the pool & the suit was completely see through. I thought I was buying quality. It’s not wearable.

This is a quality bathing suit for my active 8 year old. She has used this many times already and the colors haven’t faded. It does run on the smaller side, but still within the range of size. It doesn’t creep or shift while wearing it all day.

I purchased this suit for my competitive swimmer. I love the cut and the micro back and the price. However, the fit runs small – so, purchase a size bigger than you wear. Although the material of this suit is supposed to last in chlorine, the material color FADES super quick.

Our vibrant purple because light lavender. I would love to give it 5-stars, but the fading is such a bummer.

Baby looks super cute in this and comfortable too. Comfort and wearability are #1 for me when buying baby clothes. You can’t have fun playing in the backyard if your clothes are out of wack, itchy, scratchy or too tight in the wrong places.

This was a life saver my kids one piece from Old Navy literally fell apart after a few wears. They needed a modest bathing suit for camp. This was perfect fit well made well and came when it said. Lasted several washes and wears so far! Most stores stop carrying bathing suits by July so this was perfect to have their size in stock to order.

So glad Justice is adding more plus size clothing. Just wish they would include all plus sizes, not just 16/18 plus. Every girl should be able to feel good in her clothing no matter her size. I found Justice before they closed down and then reopened.

This was for my grand daughter. She loved it. It’s made really nice. The colors are bright. She normally wears a 10 -12. But following the size chart it shows a 12-14 for her size. We got the 12-14 and it fits perfect.

The swimsuit is very cute! The fit was wrong for my daughter. I originally ordered a small but the knots on the sides dug into her hips, so I ordered a medium and it was huge. The quality is good. The material is thick.

Bought just under 3mths ago. Used max x3/week during hour long sessions. Rinsed in cool water, dried in the shade. Lovely swimsuit but has already begun to disintegrate. Note now that it is 80% nylon and not suitable for long, repeated training sessions.

The plastic clips on the black swimsuit straps broke the first time my daughter wore this suit. On both straps! Very cheaply made. The black one fits well. The flower suit is cute but way too big in the waist.

Instead of cute side holes, they are baggy and misshapen. If we weren’t desperate for suits for a cruise coming up I would return them.

Lovely bikini set. I prefer this one as it covers my daughter up more now she’s getting older and She’s still happy because she gets to wear a bikini. Beautiful colour too! It makes her appear so tanned.
