20 Best Swimsuit For Short Torso (2023 Updated)

I wanted a suit that would be cute, comfy & hide my under arm skin. This fits all those bills. My biggest complaint is that it is a thinner fabric than swimsuits I’ve loved, but it’s more affordable than ones I’ve really invested in.

There is padding at the breast. The cut on the legs is more conservative than I’d even want/not high, but it works with the style. I agree with other reviewers that it runs big. It’s the first swimsuit that I’ve bought “in my size” as opposed to sizing up.

I wear an 8 in clothes and I bought an 8 & 10 (I’m busty & normally wear a 10-12 in swimsuits) and I kept the 8.

Hi, bought this suit in July while on a hunt for a good swimsuit with chest support. Most suits don’t fit well but this one was very flattering. For reference, I’m about 200lbs, 34H and 5’8” ~ I ordered size 10 and it fit perfectly.

I like the zipper to make it sexier if id like. I like how the straps don’t dig into my shoulders as other swimsuits do when you have bigger boobs. Gives support, feels good on, protects my shoulders from the sun (I think) and affordable price.

Some cons are, that it’s hard to take off when wet, the instructions to use are random (no oils, no suntan oils, no ocean use, no suntan use, etc. ). makes me wonder, what was it made for then?! Anyways, I’m keeping it because it’s unique, fits well, nothing pops out when I jump into the pool, and I just like the style.

This is the first time I have ever written a review for an article of clothing but this is also the first swimsuit I have ever absolutely loved. I am 41 years old, 180 pounds, 38D and size 12 for reference.

Based on other reviews of this swimsuit I ordered a size 10 and it fits perfectly. It is very flattering and has a strong surfer girl vibe. It also covers the top back of my arms which is a huge plus.

The zipper on top creates a nice focal point. It has padding in the chest which is nice. Overall it has the perfect amount of modesty while still looking youthful but age appropriate. I will pair it with board shorts.

I really wanted to like this suit. This is another example of small size suits being sold as an XXL when it clearly wasn’t designed for our bodies. Incidentally, originally ordered an XL as a size 14 and that was built like an 8-10.

The XXL is not much better and notwithstanding the fit…. It has pulled up on the front and the seat. My boyfriend was even surprised at how terrribly it had lasted – 2 wears. , and that is saying something.

I will never be buying this brand suit again.

The tummy vs non tummy control are completely different suits. Love the tummy control. Such high quality weight and feel without being too tight. Would like more bright colors. The regular weight is very thin, single “ply” and unlined.

I repeatedly buy this suit for water aerobics class. It fits as expected…I need the short torso petite, and Lands End is the only source. My only complaint is the black one has faded. The suit is lined front and back, which makes it durable.

I have a short torso. Unfortunately the suit was still a bit long in the torso for me. The material was a nice thickness and the suit was well made. Sadly I had to return it

After returning and getting the size and length right for this swimsuit, I an very happy with it! It’s modest, yet flattering, and the cut enhances the figure and silhouette in appealing ways. I get many compliments on this suit at the local pool, and I never feel too exposed while wearing it.

I also appreciate that it washes up well, and hasn’t faded at all, even after an entire summer’s use. I’m 57 years old and I appreciate having a swimsuit that doesn’t look too matronly, yet doesn’t reveal too much, either.

This suit is sheer perfection–mostly due to the cut and flattering fabric prints. I hope it lasts me a decade.

Needed a bathing suit for the pool and water therapy…worried if I would find anything I would like…very very pleased with the selection and style…so I purchased two!!

The bathing suit is stunning. This was my second bathing suit purchased by this brand. However, on this style I needed to size down. I ended up with the size 2. It fits well and has beautiful detailing.

You won’t be disappointed. At first, I was cautious if the style would make my tummy look bigger, but it doesn’t. Of course, I have a tummy pouch, I’ve had 3 kids and I’m 70 years old!.

Wear a 10 in dresses but went with 12 for this one piece. Fits me great. Ruching allows for adjusting and getting your most flattering fit. Design of torso, over shoulders and back beautiful. 38C 155lb 5’5” average build.

I love the swimsuit, it is the second one I have purchased so I know how they fit and knew What I was getting. I received many compliments from friends. I would love to have a matching skort with my swimsuit.

Honestly I was a bit nervous about buying a swimsuit online. I always have problems finding a swim wear that I love and fits my body (I have an average body but swimsuits seem to be designed for models).

I also have two small children and have found ir very hard to find something fashionable but at the same time practical and comfortable when one is playing in the pool with small children. I JUST CAN´T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS SWIMSUIT.

Worth every penny. I don´t think I´ll be buying swimsuits elsewhere after this buy. Totally recommend it. Plus I had trouble with my shipment and received the best customer service ever.

The colors look fine, just black and white. I put it on and immediately look washed out. I don’t usually have that problem. I got stuck keeping this, would not let me return since clearance. What am I supposed to do with this swimsuit now? I will no longer buy their clearance online as they will not let you return.

This bandeau swimsuit gives me youthful support and good looks. It is so appropriate for the beach with its tropical-look but not being too busy with bright-colors and objects. The suit has comfort and style and feels great on.

The material feels like satin and I enjoy having it on.

I bought this swimsuit to use for swimming lessons at a women’s only pool. I’m so happy to have found this. I felt comfortable about what I was wearing during my lesson. I look forward to finishing my lessons and getting a full hijab-swimsuit for venturing out to beaches and public pools.

Was concerned the sizing wouldn’t be right and since I was having it shipped to USA, was scared I’d have to go through the hassle of returning. But I ordered an XL (5’1 and 180lbs) and it fit just fine.

A bit of a struggle at first to close it from the bottom but it will just take some getting used to. The fabric is so nice and stretchy, I may have to order another one! Still haven’t used it in the water since the trip I bought it for isn’t till later this year but I have no doubts it will be as comfy when wet as it is when dry.

Love the quality of this costume, the fit was just right for me, the wrap around skirt was slightly longer than expected (I’m 5”2, 25inch waist). I will say it’s difficult when going to the bathroom and you have to completely undress, it would be much easier if there were buttons in the crotch area of the bodysuit piece.

My husband looked like he was wearing a skirt! The leg openings were way too wide. Had to return. Also didn`t like how the interior material was white and not black like the color of the suit. I`ve seen it in womens swimwear that is well made, the lining is usually the same color as the suit.

Excellent nylon suit, now ordering another pair for summer. Waist and length excellent for swimming, I prefer nylon to polyester in suits, dry quicker, less resistance in the water. Also uses these for surfing sometimes but better for swimming.

Side pockets can balloon if bodysurfing, although meshed. Highly recommend as durable swim shorts.

I wish there were more options like this suit! The underwire cups are wonderful and allow me to wear a plunging v without feeling too revealing or droopy. I’m a true 8 (5’8” 155#) and ordered the 8 and it fits beautifully.

My chest is 36C and this gives nice coverage. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the material on the stomach doesn’t offer any compression but it’s very comfortable to wear. Another plus, the straps are adjustable to offer a completely custom fit.

I got the green one for something different and now think I need the black too.

I bought this swimsuit to wear on a spa trip. I was happy with how it fit but then I wore it. It literally pulls and snags and gets piley immediately. At first I thought it was because I sat on something like a rough surface.

But then I saw the fabric had gotten ruined on my chest and on the sides. It literally turned into an old looking raggedy swimsuit after 1 use. I am returning it and hope I get a refund even though I wore it.

I have bought multiple swim suits at Nordstrom inc. from this brand and this was the worst.

I want this in every color. I love one pieces, but I struggle with support as a 32DD. The underwire takes care of that issue beautifully. The material is so soft. I’m normally a 4/6 and I purchased a 6 for more bust coverage.

Fits perfectly. It is very flattering, but not a ton of compression. I got the Brick color, and when I feel bloated it def shows. Choosing the black/navy should solve that issue if you’re concerned. I’d buy every color if it weren’t so pricey.
