20 Best Swimming Goggles For Men (2023 Updated)

I bought Speedo Junior Skoogles Goggles for my little son for his first swim class after 2 years of covid. We were worried that the pool water is going to hurt his eyes or he will be too scared to put his face down in the water.

But the Speedo goggles were very helpful. They fit nice, do not fog easily and have clear vision. Very happy with the purchase.

I really love my Speedo Adult Hydrofusion goggles. The quality is really good. Very well made and the design is very nice. They work amazingly great. I am very prone to getting my eyes irritated with the chlorine in the water from public pools.

I really wanted something that would protect my eyes and to be able to see underwear. Not only did these goggles protect my eyes perfectly, I was able to look underwater and not worry about leak ins.

These goggles kept the water out 100%. They really work as advertised. I was extremely satisfied and will definitely purchase a pair for all my family members.

I swim a lot and in the past Ive tried several different makes and the swim was often wasted due to the goggles letting in water. I asked a swimming instructor one night if she could recommend a make of goggles and she said try Arena and the problem stopped.

Ive probably bought four pairs over the years now and I very seldom have any leaks now. If I do they just need a little adjustment and there fine again.

I have been swimming for the better part of 35 years and have always used goggles which have a smaller volume due to the size of my eyes. Recently I have been using Speedo Vanquisher 2. 0 Mirrored but decided to give the Arena goggles a try, as I am a fan of their products.

These goggles are incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods and have not yet shown any signs of fogging. The strap set up allows me to wear the strands much slacker than usual and exerts no discernable pressure on the temples and eye sockets.

Suction is good without being painful. The tint is great for my tropical climate and outdoor pool. However, I do not give these a 5 star rating because the goggles are very small, even for my tiny eyes and relatively small face.

The inclusion of many nose bridge pieces is helpful and appreciated, but fitting these goggles perfectly is more difficult than any other I have ever used. The reward for getting them on perfectly is a great swim, other than that you will spend a lot of time tugging and pulling when they’re on wrong.

Also, due to the small size and closeness of the lens to my eye, I do notice distortion in my vision when trying to see the other end of the pool or reading the pace clocks. (I have ‘perfect’ vision and do not require any corrective lenses).

Overall, I great pair of goggles when worn correctly!.

Bought these on sale to replace an old pair of scratched speedos. Super impressed with this after a couple of swims, extremely light and comfortable that you dont notice they are even on. Easy to adjust and most importanly NO LEAKS.

These also look great in my opinion and also give crystal clear vision in the pool. Super happy and would highly recommend.

Good mid-range goggles. Look, they’re not amazing. We all know that good tech comes with heavy price, BUT if you are looking for a goggle that will last you a long time, fit your face shape and do it’s job? this is the one.

Does it fog after. 30min? yep. but so so slightly. It’s not a bother. I’ll say this: it’s worth paying a bit more for these if you want to justify not buying the cheapest ones.

Very finicky for a pair of goggles. You have to be super careful with the lenses , you can’t touch the inside. The information slip inside the case tells you this and says not to dive in them but who reads that for goggles.

We just took them out and wore them as you would do. We now have scratched insides where swimmer has put their finger in to wipe the lens and the goggles do not stay on when diving in. Swimmers trains and competes so has to where old goggles for races as the new ones come off.

Defeats the purpose of new goggles ! They are goggles, they shouldn’t be so complicated.

I like these goggles. They are pretty comfortable in my opinion. You do have to be careful when you try to tighten your goggles that you don’t pull too hard and snap the strap or break off any of the strap connection pieces.

I like the double strap configuration, I think that adds to the comfort level compared to other goggles. I did change out my strap for the stretchy cord type.

My brother and I both bought these. My brother’s broke the first time he used it. So we returned his. I decided to keep mine and give it a chance. The goggles tend to fog up (you can’t swim one lap without them fogging up).

The goggle lenses are also very dark, so it’s better to use them outside in daylight. The style is nice, but practicality wise, they’re awful.

They were on sale (probably from last season left overs), so got major discount, although still more than I’d pay for swim goggles. However they have proved themselves worthy, great for my teen and hubby to share.

Would buy another pair for sure if on sale!.

These are great and block the sun. They are designed well and stay put during your swim. They only negative is that they leave suction marks on your face for a while but this is probably necessary in order to function well.

I purchased this product for swim pool activity and for they clear cristal view. And after a month of use, water started to leak within the seals of the googles. And then the other lens went the same way.

Seems the glue or technique used for sealing does not hold well for normal use. I did took care as i had another set of speedo googles from over 10 yrs ago and they still work well. Tried to contact the manufacturer but is too slow and went buying a more trusty brand, at least this model do not buy.

Disappointed to discover the prescription lenses become foggy, despite following the guidance which is never to touch the lenses. I paid extra for what I thought would be a good pair providing good vision.

But after a few lengths of the pool I am unable to see much because they mist-up. That means I take them off and dip them in the pool to clear the mist but then the residual water droplets on the inside lenses distort my vision.

I’ve been wearing this model for years. fits my face just right so it doesn’t leak. Especially like the smoke lens for outdoor & ocean swimming. Even with exposure from chlorine in the pool doesn’t cause the rubber straps to become brittle and break.

One pair usually lasts about a year of swimming.

I bought the speedo goggles for my Caribbean Island cruise in Nov. 2021. These goggles were very nice and truly liked them. Adjusting the straps were very challenging as they came with multiple straps.

Once you figure out to fit your head it’s good to go. The googles never leak and fit in my eyes perfectly. However, after one hour of swimming and came to my stateroom, I took off my googles and noticed that my left eye was completely blood red around the white area.

So, I went immediately to see the ship doctor and explained what had happened. She examined my eyes and concluded that no damaged to either eye but nothing more than hemorrhage. The doctor thinks it might have been too tight, but it gave me a scare and threw them away.

I will still say buy the product if you can do better in the fitting.

✨Overall Impression✨ I’ve tried several other types of swimming goggles in the past, and they have all been bulky, fragile, and have leaked easily. I prefer Speedo Vanquishers because they do not have those above downfalls – they are sleek, relatively durable, and won’t leak if fastened correctly.

I’ve been a competitive swimmer for over 10 years and these are the goggles that all competitive swimmers use. The mirrored option is for swimming outdoors to block the sun. The issue with these is that they scratch easier, so definitely be cautious with them.

The goggles did not function properly even with adjustments they did not keep the water out

I bought these after trying out a pair that my mother-in-law had as my existing pair seemed to leak pretty frequently and I was getting very bad pressure marks under my eyes from tightening them in an attempt to stop them leaking.

The Aqua Sphere Mako goggles are really comfortable and have not leaked once. I can actually enjoy a swim without stopping to empty them out and they hardly leave any pressure marks. The only down side is that they don’t look very stylish however this is a small price to pay when everything else is so good about them.

They also cost about half as much as my previous pair.

My daughter has a very narrow face, and we’ve struggled for years to find a pair of goggles that fit well. Well, we finally found them! These goggles fit snuggly, keep the water out completely, and do not fog up.

The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. They’re absolutely perfect for her daily swim practices, as well as her competitive swim meets. We will definitely buy these again in the future!.

I’ve been using swimming goggles for about 30 years now. I work as a lifeguard and often try out many different brands. Aqua Sphere products are all great quality and excellent value for money. I’ve owned about 5 pairs of these in the last few years.

They lose their seal after about two years which is normal. Just buy another pair. My goggles usually go “missing” before the seal runs out. At the moment I’ve got two pairs.

I purchased these today because I couldn’t find a pair of my regular go-to goggles (Mirage Lethal) Upon opening the packet and trying them on, my eyes felt like I was going cross-eyed! The lens distortion in these goggles is the worst I’ve ever experienced, and I wear clear safety glasses, welding helmets and face shields all day everyday.

The best way to descibe the visibility through these lenses would be grab a perfect set of clear safety glasses and smear a thick layer of oil on the lenses, that’s how the world appears through these terrible optics.

My opinion is that the lens has too much of a curve at the outer edges, and this is what distorts the image. If you have narrow eyes it may not be a problem for you. Do yourself a favour and purchase some Mirage Lethal goggles, half the price and infinitely better optics.

I will be returning these to Rebel Sport tomorrow.

Best for open water swimming and softer on the face – fewer goggle marks after. Seal is great. Visibility great. Spit n rinse to prevent fogging. They do look a bit weird on but then comfort and viewing far more important imo.

On my Eye Surgeons advice I was told to use swimming goggles that didn’t put pressure on my eyes, this is due to to me having a 30% chance of getting glaucoma, Normal swimming goggles are ok for most people but not those with my condition, I was passing Rebel and decided to have a look, one of the staff asked if they could help and after explaining what I needed I had my Aqua Sphere Goggles.

They are a dream in the pool, really comfy and they don’t leak, for a specialised item they were more than reasonably priced. Thanks Rebel.

Made in Italy, NOT China! Easily the best Ocean swimming/ bodysurfing goggles out there! Hawaii is my testing ground and the Seal 2. 0 is my weapon of choice, and the same for true professionals I see on the water.

Been through easily 20 plus pairs in last 10 years. They either become too scratched, explode on sandy bottom while attached to my face, or simply swept away after yard sale. Bottom line. BUY THEM!.

Slightly surprised with how comfortable & effective these googles are for swimming laps. The suction effect holds them in place & prevents water seepage. Vision is relaxed & optimised. I will probably stick with this style & model into the future as the regular swimming goggles now seem too flat & prone to leakage.

Great visibility for kms of pool & ocean swimming. If you find that you get headaches with goggles that fit inside the brow, definitely give these a go, heaps more comfortable. If you are in store, it’s possible to try before you buy, which matters as Aqua Sphere have a wide range in this style of goggle and given they are $$$ you want to be sure of a good fit and lens type; worth every $.

Finally a pair of swimming googles that have the design and hydrodynamics capable of withstanding the extreme forces and drag as I power through the water. At low speed no problem, but they really impress when I go to my frenzied double power kick and extreme speed arm rotation, they don’t even wobble !!! Most googles disintegrate if I launch into my triple speed butterfly but not these fashionable little babies!! An added bonus is the anti-fogging technology which is awesome, I have been able to get closer to fish, I think the clearness of the lenses allows the fish to this the kindness in my eyes.

I will definitely wear these in the next Trans-Tasman open water classic. Double Dribble Jackson.

I recently bought a 2nd pair of these goggles. The first pair went missing after fighting off 3 great white sharks off the coast of Mexico. One shark bit the goggles and it broke the sharks teeth, the other 2 saw their own reflection in the unique lenses and scared themselves away.

Unfortunately lost the first pair while having a party with 14 supermodels in Ibiza, went to travel back to pick them up but due to lockdown was unable to travel, the supermodel who obtained them wears them daily and has many an adventure.

Great goggles, would buy again 10/10.

Very disappointed with these goggles. Premium price tag and they sounded great but they just leak. I’ve tried everything. Make them tighter make them looser make they feel just right. Doesn’t matter.

They leak! Sure put your head under water and make the seal…that works for a while, but not a whole session maybe a few laps. Look I’m willing to accept that it may be my head shape or profile of my face I don’t know but I’m sure I can’t be the only one who has this issue.

Pros: Look good. Cons: The product specifically said that they would not leave marks, which is the only reason I purchased them. I have goggle marks for hours and hours afterwards. I have watched many YouTube videos about how to fit them and various techniques but still with no joy.

I am unlikely to ever use them and as I live abroad it is too expensive to return them. I also incurred high import charges for something I will never use. Very unhappy.

Pros: Great fit, they never let water in (unless you take them off mid swim). The selection of nose pieces is essential for the best fit. Great value for money at the half price offer. Cons: They do mist up unless I use baby shampoo on the lens before each swim but this simple solution stops any fogging up.

I’ve had these before and the elastic does start to slip through the tightening part after a while so it would be great if this could be fixed as it would mean they would last longer before I need to replace them with a new pair.

Overall they are the best goggles I have ever used.

After my old goggles started to let in water, I looked around for a new pair. I decided to by the Speedo Jet Mirror goggles. They arrived quickly. I used them in our local pool. After an easy adjustment, they fitted perfectly.

My eyes were fully protected throughout my swim, and they were comfortably to wear. Highly recommended.

These are good value goggles however they are a very small fit. Had to maximise the band and they are still tight. Smaller than any other adult goggles Ive bought previously.

Bought these for my 8 year old son. They fit well abs was well the only problem is he likes to bomb in the water so the shorts roll up his legs and the pockets hang out. I would recommend.

I wore these three times in the pool for lane swimming before they broke. First the plastic piece for threading the strap through broke off so I tied the strap in a knot. Then the seal around the eyepiece popped out.

I reattached it, but it came off in the pool when I removed the goggles. I rarely write reviews but these goggles are something else. Save up and buy a decent pair.

My kids find these googles the best to swim in, more comfortable and less fog. We only ever buy Zoggs googles now, as we have tried a few different other brands and they just don’t stack up. They are great value for money too, one pair gets us through the year.

It is definitely a present under the tree every year!!.

They are fabulous for children. Easy to adjust and wear. Anti fog helps my little grand daughter as well. She loves them. The bright colours are good as well, she won’t leave them behind at the pool.

I use this goggle for giving swim lessons to my 5-year-old, so I need something that’s comfortable for long periods, gives a wide field of view, and has flawless underwater optics. This meets the bill, almost.

My Vanquishers have the best underwater optics, bar none – but the field of view is a bit too limited to keep track of a young kid, and the racing style digs in a bit too much for long-term comfort. My Kayennes are comfortable and have a wide field of view, but the underwater optics (as with other curved-lens goggles I’ve tried) are horrible – everything is fuzzy, as though I were suddenly badly nearsighted.

The Cressis are comfortable, have a better field of view than the Speedos, and have a flat lens, so vision underwater is clear. However, I do have some slight issues with double-vision, as the flexible nose-bridge allows the two eyepieces to spread apart far enough that the lens faces angle outwards.

Keeping the strap on the loose side, and positioning the eyepieces closer to my nose, mostly solves this. Also, I’ve noticed that the underwater vision, while clear, seems de-magnified – that is, everything seems a bit smaller and farther away.

I can’t explain the optical cause of this, but it’s something I’ve noticed on-and-off. With the Cressis, when I transition from above-surface to underwater (which I do a lot), my eyes have to take a moment to do an optical re-adjustment to adapt to the different image – akin to refocusing.

Not a deal-killer, but it has caused me to go back to the Speedos a time or two.

I bought these for my 6-year old granddaughter and she loves them! The quality is excellent and they include all the features we wanted. The double-banded adjustable strap ensures a snug and comfortable fit.

They may cost a few dollars more than other, lower quality brands, but they’re worth every penny. Highly recommended!.

+: good seal, no water comes in good clarity in the pool, when is no foggy -: get foggy really quick, but if you continue swimming, clears up in 20-30 min tight around the nose – it could be very well related to my face anatomy, but have no issues with my other pair of Aqua Sphere goggles General: so far so good.

Happy with the general feeling/performance. Let see how it performs in 6 month to 1 year. There is where start to make the difference.

I bought the Cobalt version for my ocean swims and I’ve been using them for over a month now. Using them is very comfortable. The form of the goggles sits perfectly on my face and I don’t feel any pressure on my eye sockets, nor they leave marks.

I must say that luckily there was no need to adjust the strap as they fit my head well. I was torn between the Cobalt and Amber lenses as I swim in a cloudy area and sunlight can be dim sometimes, but the Cobalt lenses do enhance light contrast and somehow everything looks brighter.

Also, cobalt looks more natural in water to me and the color motivates me when swimming. The slight tilted angle of the lenses makes it easy to peek what’s ahead, I don’t have to over extend my neck over the water, specially when it is choppier than usual, so I can work better on my technique.

Overall, these are great goggles for open water swim, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. My previous goggles were bought 4 years ago and I am surprised the difference these new goggles make. And hey, they have such a cool look!.

Have broken numerous FINA World Masters records and even more USMS National records wearing R1 goggles. the low profile at the top of the goggle reduces drag and allows me to see forward coming into the wall without having to lift my head out of position even the slightest, holding streamline.

peripheral visions is also as good or better than any other goggle that I have tried for racing. Even when adjusted to be quite tight to ensure they do not leak on starts, the R1 gaskets are relatively comfortable compared to other racing goggles.

I do not wear them much for training as they are more expensive and do seem to wear out faster than my vanquishers. but then when I do put them on for racing it is one of those special race day things like shaving and wearing a tech suit that add to confidence getting on the block.

for indoor meets I like clear, but after going to USMS Nationals in an outdoor venue I found the glare from the white walls was significant so I recently order 3 more pairs, clear for indoor and two tinted lens for outdoor meets and open water/triathlons.

Overall the design and quality is very good. They feel good and fit as expected. I like Roka as a brand and have few of their products. I purchased 4 different pairs of Roka swim goggles to try them all out.

For the most part I really like them. There are two main cons for all 4 of them. 1. Nose bridges are extremely difficult to remove and change. I wanted to try the different bridges included in the package but after the hassle with the first one I gave up on the idea of testing the rest.

I kept the one I already have installed. 2. There is no carry box for the goggles only the package they arrive at. Which is disappointing for any type of eyewear and I find inconvenient for carrying them in my gym bag.

Therefore I use the original package, until it lasts. I have a pair of goggles from another brand that came with a carry box and I appreciate it even more now. – I would pay a bit more if Roka include a carry box.

– I strongly recommend to include some tool for removing the nose bridges.

I have an extremely powerful prescription that makes it very difficult to get any corrective products. From glasses to contacts, so many places have found it nearly impossible to provide suitable products for me, especially as I’ve gotten older and my prescription has gotten even more powerful.

I fell in love with swimming last year and having to wear my rigid gas permeable contacts with goggles to the pool is such a pain. I looked into prescription goggles last year and was told by a highly respected optician that my rx is too powerful to make a suitable pair.

I gave up for a while but started searching for options again a couple months ago and found this website. I figured even if I get something that is just decent, it’s better than struggling with contacts now.

I thought prescription swim goggles were an expensive proposition. Not so with E-Optition. They’re definitely affordable and worth every penny. The process was extremely easy. The swim goggles are of high quality and were produced to my exact prescription (including astigmatism).

As someone with an extreme prescription, I always have trouble finding a place willing to do my glasses—let alone a specialty product like swim goggles. Other places told me the lenses would be too heavy and cause constant leaks.

A google search led my sister (with an equally strong prescription) to you guys and man! I’m so grateful! I can see clearly, I have minimal leaks and customer service was great. I’m so very pleased.

Fit is great, however I bought these for the extra anti fog. First swim was great however halfway through my second swim they just fogged up and I could not see anything. Not worth the extra expense.

Having had lots of failing cheap goggles over the years finally got a pair that are perfect in every way. Pricy, but you’ll not regret they are a perfect fit, and don’t steam up. Excellent.

Looks great but didn’t get a great seal around one of the eye sockets so they constantly leak. Have tried adjusting straps to different lengths but because the nose piece is fixed they are no good. Waste of money as they were very expensive.

I swim 1500m two or 3 times a week. Usual goggles live my eyes looking like a panda. These do not. I cannot see any marks around my eyes after a good swim. They are very comfortable. They have an anti fog layer but that does not seem to last too long.

Still, I can do 500m before i need to rinse them so not too bad. One thing to notice, I have a small head, and my eyes are close together. Not in a freakish way but with many goggles the width is often too wide for me to fit.

These can be adjusted. When you buy them they are on the narrow setting which is perfect for me. So if you have the same problem, be reassured. Now, I have 3 of them. Two are superb. One seems to always leak some water in.

Still, at this price, they are totally worth it and I completely recommend them. I know I will get more in the future as I have not been able to find anything better in fit and comfort, and at this price it is a bargain.

My daughter struggles with goggles as none fit that well. Kids ones are often too small and adult ones don’t fit well on the face. We bought these in a hurry for a lesson and we are amazed at how good they’ve been.

The adjustable nose piece really helps as we can narrow the gap and they sit perfectly on her face and the suction is just right around her eyes. She’s now had them for a good year and they’re still performing brilliantly.

We are getting another pair so she has a spare. Hard to believe how good they are for the price point.

Bought for my child. These seem like great goggles until you touch the inside and the antifog coating smudges. It’s like an oily coating so when you’ve touched it, you can’t see through the goggles properly unless you wash all the antifog off.

Never had any goggles do this before, it’s usually dry and scratched of off scratched but not smudgeable. It’s almost impossible to stop kids touching the inside of the goggles.
