Disappointed that this cap could not slide over my hair without pulling so much hair out of my head.

Placed correctly, the cap has no wrinkles and glides great in the water.

I am a swim instructor/coach, and I also swim recreationally. I do agree with many others that the cap feels stretchier than many silicon caps, but I don’t think that it is easy to tug off. I have very short hair (and a 6″1/4″ size head) and the cap is comfortable.

I have not had it slip off or leak a lot of water into my hair. I’ve been using this cap 9 days straight now, and it holds up well during 3-4 hours teaching intervals and 2-hour swim workouts. Time will tell if it holds up to many more months, but I think that this is an excellent buy! I saw other reviewers saying lighter colors are more sheer, so I got the Dark Navy.

It is 95% opaque and I absolutely love it!.

Durafast bikini seems super well constructed. The bottoms fit great while the top feels a little too snug around my rib cage. That said, I think it will loosen up a bit with use so it will probably end up being perfect.

The cap is so comfy – I love it! I have shoulder length hair and it fits underneath comfortably.

It stays over my ears to protect them from cold water, but doesn’t feel too large or too small. I don’t really feel the cap at all. It comes in a couple of high-visibility colors (yellow and orange) for open-water swimming.

Love this swim cap! Was afraid of getting white but it stays clean. Have received several compliments on it since I wore it. Stays firmly on your head and holds my thick curly hair. Good quality!

Swim cap is soft, comfortable and goes on and off easily without pulling hair. Stays in place.

My last TYR cap lasted seemingly forever. The quality is fabulous and the silicone is the way to go. Highly recommended!

I purchased this because it was cheaper than the original hat I was going to purchase. My 15 month old is going through chemotherapy for leukemia and has a sensitivity to the sun. So ordered multiple of these hats.

The clasp at the back that are there to tighten the hat do not work on any of them. Lesson learned stick with brands you know work.

My child pulls everything off her head and giggles. With the tie in the bottom she can’t get this hat off. I was afraid she would keep trying to pull it off and hurt herself from the ties but the comfort of this hat is amazing.

She loves it and actually doesn’t mind one but having it on. I am a relieved momma since I was worried I would never find something to keep the sub from blazing on her little fair skin. Thanks so much Zulily! The price is unbeatable.

the hat is light weight but seems to do the job. the clip to adjust head size was broke when I received it. I will have to find a way to fix it. it is flimsy so it doesn’t stay up on its own at this point.

my baby is 2 months and hopefully it will work better as he grows. based on other seller feedback, this hat might be a bargain but no one is extremely happy with the product. I wish I would have paid a little more for a better quality hat.

but I’m hoping it does the job and will protect my baby from the sun.

I’ve been wearing this cap for years and it is my favorite. Comfy, brightly colored (I am primarily an open-water swimmer), and it keeps me warm all year long. I would have given it five stars, but the one I just ordered seems tighter fitting than the ones I’ve ordered in the past.

I have a small head/hat size and it is tight on me. I know it will stretch out over time, but for now it is tighter than I’d like.

Everyone in our lake swim training group wears this swim cap — always. It’s warm and it’s visible halfway across the lake. Don’t leave shore without it!

but it is a replacement for one just like it I am currently using lots in ocean water. After one year it is slightly faded in color but still very strong. Strengths of this product: color, warmth, stays on head, seems more durable than other brands.

The best part is, easy dressing. It’s just like wearing any other head-gear unlike rubber/silicon based products. It does feel light and non-irritating thought it’s 98% water proof. Still I prefer as compared to rubber/silicon product which is tight, irritating and sweaty.

I bought two swim caps and they’re both this material – not meant to keep water out, they’re meant to keep hair in place and out of the way. I had a problem with rubber caps pulling my hair, giving me headaches while swimming and a friend recommended spandex.

I thought the price of this was too good to be true but wow, was I ever wrong, this is a great cap, I use it all the time for training and I use the fancier one, same brand, with the graphics for special projects.

I bought this for my Autistic daughter because she doesn’t like the rubber ones pulling her hair out and it definitely doesn’t do that. Just wish it was a touch bigger. She doesn’t have a big head but she has thick hair.

Other than that it’s great.

Haven’t used it on my little lady as yet but it came just as pictured. Very pretty, bright in color and the quality was surprised as I expected maybe a corduroy material or something but it was the same material as the bathing suit except it had a sturdier flop in the hat.

So I am hoping her head doesn’t sweat with the hot weather but it seems to have ventilation based on the “spandexy” feel. Excited for her to have her first beach day this summer and I know the colors and ice cream graphics will be a sweet touch to her lil style on the beach!!.

Purchased these items for my granddaughter in Texas. The bathing suit is cute & well made & the reversable hat completes this outfit

These are great, I think they will get a few seasons on the beach out of these, adorable, functional hats to keep the sun out of babies eyes and face!

Very good quality. I haven’t used this on baby yet as I am due end of May. Got the newborn smallest size and it looks like it will fit nicely! Nice clean white color. The material is thicker. There’s a little neck strap with velcro to keep the hat from flying away and falling off.

Bought this for my 7 month old. I got a 3-9 size due to the sizing chart. Very cute. My son has a bit of a bigger head so I think I would’ve been okay with the next size up too. Fits fine

My husband and I are even more happy with our purchase than we expected. My nearly nine month old daughter is very fair skinned and doesn’t like hats but for some reason she’ll keep this hat on! It must be more comfortable than all the other types we’ve tried.

I personally like the flexibility of the brim of the hat and especially how the flap comes over her ears and covers her neck too. We also were thrilled by the material itself protecting from UVA/UVB rays so that nothing is coming through to the top of her head.

For a very fairly priced hat, you can’t go wrong. Just follow the size chart based on measurements not by age.

Perfect sun hat for sunny days. Bought for 8 month old’s first beach trip. Large bill and flaps on neck keep sun off face and sensitive areas. She kept taking it off in the car but once out on the beach she didn’t touch it because it’s helped her be more comfortable.

Ever since my baby girl was born in February I have been on the search for a good sun hat for her. It was about the only “baby thing” I struggled to find. All of the baby hats I was gifted and handmedowned were way too big.

I was excited when I saw this company featured in Parents magazine, and when I saw that I could buy a 3-6 month size for my 5mo. She is in the 50th percentile for head circumference, so according to charts a completely average 5mo size.

I was disappointed that the hats I bought from UV Skins were STILL too big. She is a month older now and now they fit better, but I still would have liked a hat that actually fit her properly as a young baby when she really, really needed it, and didn’t just go right down over her eyes.

If UV Skins could start making smaller hats for other babies/families, they would really be filling a niche in the market.

This cap is very soft to handle but strong enough to allow easy stretching it over your head, even if the wearer has a large, thick ponytail. My granddaughter (7years) dislikes getting water in her ears and this wonderful cap has fixed the problem.

This silicone is a little thicker than I’m used to, so it felt quite tight on my head. But it kept my bob length hair almost dry! Even after doing breaststroke laps. My ears felt a bit squished after an hour and can’t have my studs in while wearing this swimming cap as the backs dig into my head too much.

Works a treat. Purchased for school swimming and Miss 10 loves it. No issues getting her long hair into the Silicon and hair stays dry. Mostly. The cute little plastic ziploc bag keeps it together in her swimming bag which is a plus.

Best designs ever. Hilarious character on cap, always makes me chuckle on my toddler. It has a little fin on the top so wouldn’t recommend for squad or competitive swimming but great for learn-to-swim.

The shark design looks angry in some online photos which was originally off-putting as I didn’t want to scare my toddler, but he’s actually a happy shark! It was sold as “junior” size which we assumed was for toddlers.

When we opened it discovered it was for kid aged around 6 and thought it would be way too big, but surprisingly it fits my 2. 5 year old perfectly (it does have lots of stretch in it to fit bigger kids too).

Thick silicone & stays on for the whole lesson.

It’s pretty much a 2 person job to put this cap on & successfully trap all hair inside. It definitely keeps the hair dry & out of pool filters when put on correctly though. The kids love being a shark!.

I was surprised that my daughter (17 months) will happily wear this without trying to pull it off. I use this in conjunction with the Zoggs ear band and her hair comes up either completely or mostly try after her swimming lessons.

I bought it to keep her ears dry and it works perfectly with the band. The shark character is super cute too. She loves her baby shark swimming cap.

This hat looks so cute with the matching swimsuits. I love that it is reversible so that it matches the berry and grape suits. My daughter will actually wear this for more than five minutes. I just wish it had a chin strap to keep in on in really windy beach weather.

That aside, it’s adorable and functional.
